The Hindustan College of Arts & Science was founded in 1995. It is a unit of Hindustan Group of Institutions, affiliated to the University of Madras and is accorded the Minority Status by National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions, Govt. of India. The College offers 15 Under Graduate, 7 Post Graduate courses and 2 M.Phil Research programmes.

SDM College was a brainchild of the then Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshethra Dharmasthala, Sri D Ratnavarma Heggade. Established in 1966 at a very small scale at Siddavana Gurukula was affiliated to Mysore University. It is affiliated to the Mangalore university since 1989. 

Nestled in the verdant plains of the Hosur- Sarjapur Layout in a serene atmosphere conducive for academic pursuits, The Oxford College of Arts welcomes students to its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of BA, MA Journalism and Mass Communication and Master of Social Work (MSW). Started in the year 2006, with just one combination of the BA programme, the college now runs three combinations of the BA programme and two postgraduate programmes.

Bharata Mata College is a first grade arts and science co-educational institution in the aided sector owned and managed by the Archdiocese of Ernakulam Angamaly. Established in July 1965 by the late Cardinal Joseph Parecattil and situated at Thrikkakara facing the new Seaport-Airport road, it is affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. The college was included under section 2(f) and 12(b) of UGC Act 1956 in 1976 and accredited at the   B level by NAAC in 2003. In 2014, the college got A Grade by the NAAC Accreditation.
