After the death of husband, a women becomes alone and the whole responsibilities of family comes on her shoulders and many of them are not capable to carry those responsibilities and such critical situation is often ignored in the society and no measures are taken by the government in their favour. Hence, this day is to highlight these women’s issues, that they exists and are living in so much difficulties.

And it can be seen that some success has been gotten through this day because now many NGOs are working in this field to help widows by providing them work, teaching their kids, fighting for their rights because mostly womens are not supported financially by their families and drove away from their homes, so we should also help them whenever we can.
