The God of offside gave freedom to Indian cricket, India got back its independence again after 1947 withholding the hand of Sourav Ganguly. 1999, the most stigmatized time if Indian cricket, when everyone stepped back the person was standing there in the front with his glory of efficiency and self-confidence who hold the helm of Indian cricket. The aggression, emotion took retirement. But this is not the end. Now he is the president of BCCI. This is another milestone of Bengalis’ success. The first captain of the Indian cricket team from the east side not only made Bengalis proud but also proved that what will power can do. Though his career in IPL was not so fruitful. The exhaustive trial all the time somewhere compelled him to leave. He started a new era of Indian cricket where everyone inspired everyone. From where a bunch of cricket legends comes out with the crown of success. The dada of Indian cricket could compromise his place to give chances to the new. A controversial individual who knows the meaning of struggle.
Today is the birthday of the 21st century’s Indian cricket. The left-handed batsman wanted to be a footballer once. Today the whole country showers bless to their inspiration. The person who took out not only Bengalis but all from the world from the dungeon. Again they assemblies to celebrate the legacy as they used to do to see the sky touching “bapi bari ja”.
