One of the most favorite and most popular among them is the Vampire Diaries. The series is set in the fictional town of Mystic Falls were Vampires lead the as the main characters of the series. It is a Horror, Supernatural and fantasy drama.

It is a series consisting of 8 seasons with 171 episodes. The story circles around the Mystic falls charged with supernatural history . The story follows the life of Elena Gilbert the main lover girl who falls in love with Stephan , an 164 year old vampire. The story creates a love triangle between Damon , the brother of Stephan , Elena and Damon. The story continues in which a critical condition of Elena turning into a Vampire , which she despised more to live like.

Both the Salvatore Brothers guard her as the apple of her eyes . Damon and Stephan long back fell in love with the same girl Katherine , which turned out to be wrong path of their lives . As the story moves they get entangled again in the same situation . History got repeated . In each season the strength and the nature of the enemies get changed. Maybe it would be more appropriate to say that the complexities increased.

In midst of these Elena faces a lot of loses of her lovable ones. Atlas she is left with her brother Jeremy Gilbert . The story was made alive more because of her close friends, Bonnie – the Benet Witch and Caroline Forbes who was also turned into a vampire in midst. It is definitely a watch on list series .
