Men are also human beings and honestly speaking some men out there know how to respect a woman for being a woman.
These are the ones who define the term ‘gentleman’.
I too have male friends who are always there to help me, to guide me, to protect me, who will never ever even think of taking advantage of a girl sexually.
Therefore blame the person and not the GENDER.
Yes I myself have heard about the Facebook stories and had conversations with my female friends. It was clear that men feel empowered to whistle, make unsolicited comments, stalk, grope and more.
But why blame every man out there and not the exact person responsible for this?
Why are Indian women denied the freedom of walking on the streets of their own city fearlessly – broad daylight or not! Can they not use their own judgment of appropriate dressing when stepping out of the house – not one stipulated by our narrow minded society?
There are definitely men out there who are also against all this injustice towards their mother, wife, sister or any other female. They know how to stand for them and speak for them.
These men know how to take care of their wife while she is doing a job and handling all the household at the same time. They will help her while she is working alone in the kitchen.
They will understand her menstrual cramps, buy her a chocolate, pamper her. They also know how to take care of their son or daughter as a loving dad.
So let’s take positive steps towards this and respect a MAN. Everyone deserves to be treated right.
