PEER PRESSURE
Peer pressure is the process in which individuals within the same group influence others in the group to engage in a behaviour or activity that they may not otherwise engage in. A peer can be any individual who belongs to the same social groups or circles as you and has some type of influence over you.
Peer pressure can be avoided by thinking about your actions and if you would participate in the behavior if your social circle was not influencing or pressuring you to do so. Also, if the idea of engaging in that activity makes you uncomfortable, it’s best to listen to your inner voice and not engage in such activities.

Who Experiences Peer Pressure?
Anyone regardless of age can have peers as peers usually come from a common social circle. Our peers tend to be those individuals with whom we identify the most with. As children and adolescents, our peers are our classmates and friends. As teens and young adults, our classmates, coworkers and even family members can be our peers.
As adults, our coworkers, spouses, friends of spouses can all be peers. Our peers can change as we get older and our definition of what constitutes a social circle can also change. Likewise, peer pressure can also be experienced at any age and in any situation. As children grow up, we often think about peer pressure on a continuum from childhood to young-adulthood.
Children and adolescents of any age can experience peer pressure in the form of engaging in risky behavior, name calling or bullying other children or breaking rules. The pressure these children face to conform to their social circle is often the only way they feel they can belong to that group. As we get older, these feelings of needing to conform can persist.
Adults of any age are not immune to experiencing peer pressure. Peer pressure in this age group can also include risky behavior, however the consequences are more grave than those of childhood risky behaviors. Adults can experience peer pressure at work as many adults spend a great deal of time at work and interacting with coworkers. This type of pressure can look like working the same long hours as others, persuading others to do something you wouldn’t want to do yourself and anything in between.
Types of Peer Pressure:
There are many types of peer pressure which can be experienced at any age. Since peer pressure involves communicating some type of message, the way in which that message is communicated can be varied. You may experience very direct and clear peer pressure, at times it may be only a strong feeling, sometimes it might sound fun and other times it can sound scary and even illegal.
There are many types of peer pressure, including:
1. Spoken Peer Pressure
This type of peer pressure involves one individual or a group asking another individual to participate in some type of behavior. In a group setting, the pressure felt is much stronger as there is power in numbers.
2. Unspoken Peer Pressure
This type of peer pressure involves an individual being exposed to certain behaviors, trends or choices of others and feeling a pressure to conform.
3. Direct Peer Pressure
This type of peer pressure is challenging as it is very specific to behavior-based conformity and can be spoken or unspoken. Direct peer pressure can often feel heightened because of our own discomfort of the environment we’re in at that time of experiencing direct peer pressure.
4. Indirect Peer Pressure
This type of peer pressure is less invasive on our internal voice to behave a certain way, however, it can validate a behaviour or activity we want to try but haven’t tried yet. It can be unspoken but also influence how we feel about ourselves.
5. Positive Peer Pressure
This type of peer pressure can be direct, indirect, spoken and/or unspoken. This is pressure felt in one-on-one situations or groups that yields positive results and healthier lifestyle choices.
6. Negative Peer Pressure
This type of peer pressure can also be direct, indirect, spoken and/or unspoken. This pressure can challenge individuals to do things they may not usually do and engage in such behaviours because others are doing so and it’s a way to belong.
How to Deal With Peer Pressure
There are many ways to deal with the various types of peer pressure you can experience. Some ways to handle it include first being aware of how you feel about the situation and environment you’re in when the peer pressure is happening. If you can pay attention to your emotions, you can often find yourself leaving a situation before you may be peer pressured into doing something you may not actually want to do.
Talking about these feelings and setting boundaries is another way to ensure you can stay comfortable in an environment. If your boundaries are not respected and the pressure continues, it can be a sign that your environment isn’t a place where you may be respected. This may help you think about the company you keep and help you start making choices where you’re in a company that respects you, your value system and boundaries.
COVID 19 in India | Reasons and Impact.
India, the world’s 2nd most densely populated country, has been severely affected by COVID-19. The country had recently faced the second wave of COVID-19, which was harsher than its predecessor. According to some researchers, there are chances that the country will have to deal with the 3rd wave and it can cruelly affect the country then the last 2 variants. PM of INDIA also requested every citizen to follow the precautions as the COVID is not completely diminished yet cause People are the ones who will bring the 3rd wave, it won’t come on its own.

Why the COVID cases Number were High In India?
What if we are living in a Video Game?

Kids these days are head over heels into video games, do you ever think maybe we live in a video game itself. The question seems absurd. Yet there are plenty who are convinced that this is not only possible but perhaps likely.

Rizwan Virk, a computer scientist and video game designer, published a 2019 book, The Simulation Hypothesis, that traces the path from today’s technology to what he calls the “Simulation Point,” the moment at which we could realistically build a Matrix-like simulation.
I know nothing about computer science, but this idea that we’re all characters in an advanced civilization’s video game is, well, kind of awesome.
Pretend you know absolutely nothing about the “simulation hypothesis.” What is the simulation hypothesis?
The simulation hypothesis is the modern equivalent of an idea that the physical world we live in, including the Earth and the rest of the physical universe, is actually part of a computer simulation.
You can think of it like a high resolution or high-fidelity video game in which we are all characters, and the best way to understand it is the movie The Matrix, which many people have seen, it’s become a cultural phenomenon now beyond the film industry.
In that movie, Keanu Reeves plays the character Neo, who meets a guy names Morpheus, who is aptly named after the Greek god of dreams, and Morpheus gives him a choice of taking a red pill or a blue pill. If he takes the red pill, he wakes up and realizes that his entire life, including his job, the building he lived in, and everything else, was part of this elaborate video game, and he wakes up in a world outside of the game, which he did.
Are we living in a simulated universe right now?
There are lots of mysteries in physics that are better explained by the simulation hypothesis than by what would be a material hypothesis.
The truth is that there’s much we simply don’t understand about our reality, and I think it’s more likely than not that we are in some kind of a simulated universe. Now, it’s a much more sophisticated video game than the games we produce, just like today World of Warcraft and Fortnite are way more sophisticated than Pac-Man or Space Invaders. They took a couple of decades of figuring out how to model physical objects using 3D models and then how to render them with limited computing power, which eventually led to this spate of shared online video games.
I think there’s a very good chance we are, in fact, living in a simulation, though we can’t say that with 100 percent confidence. But there is plenty of evidence that points in that direction.
DO NOT GIVEUP THE BEGINNG IS ALWAYS THE HARDEST
WHEN WE ARE OPEN TO LEARNING MORE….THEN WE ARE WILLING TO WORK FOR IT…
AND WE THRUST OUR INTUITION & FOLLOW OUR HEARTS…..WELL,THEN ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.
BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!NEVER EVER GIVE UP!
In order to understand the attitude, read this amazing motivational story.this is very interesting,so make sure to read till the end.
Once a foreigner came to india and he was enjoying sightseening onthe outskirts of kerala, a beautiful city of south india.he then entered a temple which was in under construction.
He stops nearby a man who was a sculptor busy in making an idol with his brush and few tools. Therevwas another similar idol lying nearby the sculptor.in confusion, the foreigner asked the sculptor.
“ i can’t see any mistake in the first idol, where is it,can you please let me know”
While brushing the second idol, the sculptor replied “please see,the nose of the first idol is damaged and it cannot be repaired”
The foreigner said,”okay….. Where will it be installed?”
Sculptor answered”it will be installed at the 200 feet above the temple building”
The foreigner smiled sarcastically and said to sculptor”if this idol will be installed so high then obviously no one would be able to see the damaged nose of the idol.why are you wasting time in creating this second idol?”
The sculptor smiled and said “yes…..you are right.no one will be able to see thst damaged nose but i know it and every time when i will see that idol, the guilt of building a damaged idol will hunt me.”
Guys, excellent means perfection and you have to be perfect in anything you do in life,no matter what .excellence drives from inside and you have to realize it.
Excellence is not something that you want to show off but it should be from your inner self.no matter what you do in your life, you should be satisfied from inside.
One thing you have to understands is if you don’t do it with complete excellence, don’t do it all because if it is not excellent then it will not be profitable or fun.
We are what we repeatedly do and excellence, therefore,is not an act,it’s a habit.
This story clearly shows that life presents changes to all of us.success is no accident but it is hard work, preseverance ,learning, and sacrifice.a dream doesn’t become reality through magic.
It takes sweat, determination, and hard work.humans are creatures of habit.if you quit when things get tough,it gets much easier to quit the next time. on the other hand
On the other hand,if you force yourself to push through it,the grit begins to grow in you.so,my dear friends believe in the end.
Always remember strength doesn’t come from winning ,your hard work and struggles in life develop your real strengths.
When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is call strength, what is one piece of advice we can give to the young guns of this new era? It is indeed never give up.
Nowadays, many students are too afraid to dream of how great their life can be because of other people .they offer them numerous example of what can go wrong.
Hey,give plenty of examples of how hard life is,the struggles in life….. But there is no need to believe in that.
“BELIVE YOUR SELF,NEVER EVER GIVE UP”.
FAHRENHEIT 451 by Ray Bradbury

Fahrenheit 451, dystopian novel, first published in 1953, that is regarded as perhaps the greatest work by American author Ray Bradbury and has been praised for its stance against censorship and its defense of literature as necessary both to the humanity of individuals and to civilization.
In 1954, Fahrenheit 451 won the American Academy of Arts and Letters Award in Literature and the Commonwealth Club of California Gold Medal. It later won the Prometheus “Hall of Fame” Award in 1984 and a “Retro” Hugo Award in 2004. Bradbury was honoured with a Spoken WordGrammy nomination for his 1976 audiobook version.
Summary
This is a story about a man named Guy Montag who is a fireman. However, by today’s standards, he is not a fireman. Rather than putting out fires, he starts them by burning books, which are outlawed by the government.
After talking to his neighbour, Clarisse, Guy begins to doubt his work. When he looks around, he sees a wife who doesn’t love him and a world wrapped in technology and war. Every day, people kill each other and no one seems to care.
After learning that Clarisse died, Guy further begins to question himself whether or not he is doing the right thing by burning books. He is so enraged that he steals a book before burning a lady and a pile of books.
Beatty, his fire captain, notices changes in Guy and keeps a close eye on him. Guy tells his wife that he has a small book collection at home, and they try to read them together, but his wife seems disinterested.
Guy meets Faber, an old English professor, and the two decide to fight the government together.
Meanwhile, when Guy is at work, they receive a notification that books have been found. Surprisingly, the firemen arrive at Guy’s residence.
Guy is forced to burn all of his books with a flamethrower, but when provoked, he kills Beatty. He grabs what books he can and rushes over to Faber’s house for a final farewell.
The government has launched a full-fledged broadcast hunt for Guy, which includes the use of a mechanical search dog. Guy escapes the city and walks down the river, where he encounters a group of runaways. There, he discovers that they have all memorized books, thus creating a human library of literature.
Finally, the runaways watch the city being destroyed by enemy bombs and prepare themselves for a grim future.
Analysis
So, why does this society dislike books? What did books ever do to humans? In this society, people have chosen not to read books. The majority of people quit reading and instead found entertainment in the form of bite-sized portions of educational information.
The administration then decided that books should be forbidden because they contained contradictory views that caused debates and conflicts. Rather than creating a marketplace of ideas, the government wanted to streamline thinking so that everyone had the same viewpoint. What’s even scarier is that this doesn’t seem too farfetched to occur in real life.
Most importantly, this story tries to answer the question: Why are books so important? As Faber discusses with Guy, books are important for three reasons. The first is that books are excellent sources of information. The second reason is that reading books takes time and dedication. The third reason is that we have the power to react to our surroundings based on what we learn from reading. That the words in books aren’t just meaningless words, but have practical applications in our lives.
It’s not just because this old dead guy wrote some things for me to read hundreds of years later, but also because how do those words apply to our society today?
Despite the fact that technology has progressed our society, we still tent to see the same human problems as in the past, so it seems that technology makes our life simpler but does not solve many of our most basic problems, such as war, disease, and poverty.
It’s quite scary to think that the author may have imagined some of the technology that we use presently. Fast cars, mechanical dogs, large TV screens, reality TV, bluetooth, and a variety of other technologies are included in the novel. It makes you question how far we are from a world without books.
PARENTING
From encouraging schoolwork and sports to modelling values as a child grows parents exert influence over their children’s lives. They are, however, not the only-on-the -ground influencers especially after children enter school and begin interacting with the world at large.
Most parents work to give children the best part possible, but it’s also important for parents to recognise that kids come into the world with their own temperament, personalities and goals.
In a rapidly changing world, parenting can be subject to changing styles and parenting in some privileged circles has become a competitive sport. But the needs of child development as delineated by science remain relatively stable: safety, structure, support and love.

PARENTING TEENAGERS:
Adolescences is a challenging time for young people, not only because of the physical changes or puberty but ij the emotional aspect as well and in some cases, the emergence of serious mental health conditions. For parents, it can sometimes seem like their affectionate, adoring child has become a different, distant person and their teen friends have become important to them than their family. But some of these changes are part of the essential process of moving toward independence and parents who are able to offer more empathy than judgement can continue to be a source of kids guidance for their kids.
PRINCIPLES OF GOOD PARENTING
1.WHAT YOU DO MATTERS:
Whether it’s anger or being affectionate towards someone or reacting to a situation always remember you child is watching you and learning from you the most. Therefore, it’s very important you learn to react the right way and use the right words around your kids because kids learn things before anybody else whether it’s eating to a certain situation or a way of dealing with someone.
2.YOU CANNOT BE TOO LOVING:
We often tend to think that more love can never spoil a child while the reality is they tend to take it for granted at times and it’s only human. Therefore, always maintain a balance in the love you show towards your kids.
3.BE INVOLVED IN YOUR KIDS LIFE:
To be an involved parent, one should have their priorities set because it involves putting in a lot of time and effort and hard work. It often means sacrificing a lot of things or what you want to di at certain times .
4.ESTABLISH AND SET RULES:
When a Childs behaviour is not watched from the beginning, he or she fails to manage himself or herself when he or she is older and you aren’t around. Anytime of the day as a parent you should be able to answer these three questions: Where is my child? Who is my child with? What is my child doing?
5.FOSTER YOUR CHILDS INDEPENDENCE:
Setting limits helps your child develop self control towards a lot of things in life. Encouraging independence helps them to give a direction to their life. Therefore for the right kind of parent g here has to be a balance of setting limits and encouraging independence.
6.TREAT YOUR CHILD WITH RESPECT:
The best way to get a respectful treatment for your child is to treat them with respect too. You should give your child the same courtesies that you would give anybody else. Speak to him politely. Respect his opinion. Pay attention when he’s speaking to you. Treat him kindly. Children treat others the way their parents treat them therefore you should know your relationship with your child is the foundation of all the relationships he will grow in his life.

AATMNIRBHAR BHARAT
Aatmnirbhar is a Hindi word which in English means self-sufficient and no one should depend on others for their success in life. In other words, one should neither depend nor expect help from others in order to run their livelihood. One must be self dependent and self reliant as the person who depends on others never succeeds in life.
Post independence, India was still dependent on others for various resources but today India is becoming self dependent in every field. In May 2020, Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India announced a Rs 20 crore economic package under the Aatmnirbhar Bharat Abhiyan in order to avert the probable economic decline during the global Covid-19 pandemic and to spin the catastrophe into opportunity. The self sufficient mission was launched in pursuance to address the pandemic crises and the economy falloff due to subsequent lockdown in India.
The Aatmnirbhar Bharat Abhiyan was promulgated with the aim to make India self-dependent and also apportioned boost to the economy that had slowed down by the pandemic. This package is approximated to be GDP’s 10 percent.
Five Pillars of Aatmnirbhar Bharat Abhiyan
- Economy: An economy that guarantees a huge bounce instead of gradual change.
- Infrastructure: It is postulated on the 21st century systems driven by technology.
- Technology: Such infrastructure would be assisted that would become the cotemporary age’s recognition.
- Demography which is vibrant: A remarkable Constitution, well-developed democratic institutions and true participation by the people in social governance is the source of our energy for India to be self-sufficient.
- Demand: The chain of demand-supply will be utilized at its complete potential.
Benefits of Aatmnirbhar Bharat
It aims at aiding India to a become self-reliant nation. The unemployment in the nation will be terminated and growth will be seen in the industries. Thus, ensuring decline in the rate of poverty and will also result in strengthening the economy of the nation. Every citizen of the country will be benefitted by the self reliance. The dependency of India on other countries for different resources will also decreases rapidly. It also aims at making and promoting local products and providing assistance to Indian companies to compete in supply chains globally. Thus, focusing on the idea of ‘ Vocal for Local’. The foreign exchange will also be saved by the import reduction and by exporting additional goods, more foreign exchange could be earned. In order to provide employment and shelter to the migrants, an additional Rs 40,000 crore was allotted to the MGNREGA (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act 2005). More number of labs and health institutions will be instituted. The industry of Indian Space will also be benefitted by the opening of space exploration for the private sector. The needs and requirements of various sections such as industries, small business, laborers, etc. will all be catered by this economic package.
Criticism
The Aatmnirbhar Bharat Abhiyan is mainly criticized for being somewhat similar to the ‘ Make in India’ campaign. It is argued by the critics that it is the same plan, just implemented with a different name. The fundings allocated are mostly in the same way as the budget in general. The critics believe that the package will not be beneficial enough to rejuvenate the economy of the nation. The employment in the Urban region is seemingly ignored in this package.
It can be concluded that there are a number of challenges before the Aatmnirbhar Bharat Abhiyan but its approach of the target postulates growth inclusively including development in every field and promoting equality and being ready to face all the problems coming ahead.
IMPORTANCE OF SEX EDUCATION
INTRODUCTION:
Knowing about our own body is our right and parents have the responsibility to provide them the knowledge and awareness a young mind needs to know. Access to comprehensive sex education is a human right. The society can longer passively leave it to streets or the internet to brainwash the kids mind with incomplete knowledge or set sexual standard values.
MEANING:
Sex Education is a comprehensive set of knowledge and process of learning the emotional, physical and social aspects of sexuality. Sex education should include information about puberty, menstruation, condoms, contraceptives, sexual violence prevention, sexual orientation, gender identity and body image. Sex education will provide the importance of self well being and health to one and others.People have so many different conceptions about sex education.
Many people think teaching children sex education is equivalent to permitting them to engage in sexual intercourse which is not true. Engaging in sexual intercourse is a personal choice nevertheless one should always be clear about the consequences and be aware on how to prevent diseases and unintended pregnancy. Sex education should treat sexual development as a normal human development.Sex education will help kids to adopt healthy decisions. But this is not enough, Children are perplexed and demand honest answers. Comprehensive sex education should provide honest, age appropriate informations.

IMPORTANCE OF SEX EDUCATION:
- It is important in consideration of health and well being and dignity of not only themselves but also others. Health related problems and teenage unintentional pregnancy leads to absenteeism and dropping out of studies.
- Developing respectful social relationships and sexual relationships will enhance quality of life. Some people choose to be in a relationship while some don’t. Some people feel an attraction towards somebody who could also be of the same gender as theirs and that’s okay.
- Sexual health can affects the academic development of a student. Reportedly a student who has not engaged in sexual activities tends to be better at studies.
- Good sex education helps students differentiate between intentions and also knows about sexual violence.
ROLE OF PARENTS IN SEX EDUCATION:
Sex is already taught all over internet in a very poor manner. Children are curious about gathering information about sex much before parents can even imagine. Therefore, parents should take the initiative of education their children about sex from a younger age and educate them further with the growth in their minds and age. It also creates a secure relationship between the child and the parents. Parents need to ensure right information is given to their kids. Parents remaining silent about sex can lead to children trying to figure it out on their own from internet or from their peers.
Sex education helps the kids understand their bodies and feel optimistic about the body. Many parents prepare their daughter for menstrual periods and son for his nocturnal emission. Therefore, parents should be the first source of information to the kids. Boys should also be taught about periods as later on in life it helps to deal with their wife’s mood swings or pain.
RULES TO BE FOLLOWED:
Sex education works best when there is mutual trust and comfort and safety among themselves. Sex education should be taught according to the Childs age and development stage.
Here are some ground rules which are to be followed:
- Asking questions indicates the want to gather knowledge
- Respect for each other
- Correct use of body terms and activities
- It is possible for the teacher to not know all the answers
- Gender equality should be taught
- Students should be given right and primitive information
- Students should be open to discuss any issue in the class related to sexuality
- Listen to what the teacher has to say because it might be of use in the future
- Always speak for yourself
CURRENT PERSPECTIVE:
Looking at the current situation of India, sex education has a far more distance to cover in terms of Indian society understanding and accepting its importance in every Childs life. Sex education is still not to be seen in many schools. Currently many organisations have taken the responsibility to personally approach the school for teaching girls about menstrual or personal hygiene. Boys are still left to collect information the streets and internet.
Many parents believe that with age their child will learn about it anyway therefore they don’t bother to talk about it at all. Some parents are shy to even pronounce the word in front of their kids. Parents refer to ignorance as assurance but now the times have changed, somehow children acquire inaccurate knowledge about sexuality. It is the responsibility of parents and teachers to make sure the kids are socially and sexually aware.
CONCLUSION:
Sex education should be made compulsory in school curriculum. Comprehensive sex education is important for young people to prepare themselves for any bodily changes and maintain their healthy and hygienic being. Sex education doesn’t promote having sex, which should be realised by parents. Knowing about your sexuality gives altogether a better and productive mindset and relationship in the future.
The Pros and Cons of Drones (UAVs)
What is Drone technology ?
By definition, drones are unmanned aerial vehicles that are operated and navigated by a smartphone or a remote control.
As per records, the earliest version of drones was launched in 1849. Since then, drones have primarily been used for military purposes. Only a few years ago, the miniaturization of drones allowed different businesses to start utilizing drone technology.
Now, the drone industry is rapidly expanding. Drone technology is increasingly being used by organizations to manage their business and deliver services. In the near future drones may be used to deliver items and services. With this new technology, drones have their own set of benefits and drawbacks.

Pros of drone technology
- Drones are used in a various sectors. They go to places that people find difficult to get. For example, they can be used to quickly deliver medicines in hilly areas.
- During natural disasters, drones can be used to deliver food. Not only can drones be used to distribute food, but they may also be used to locate and rescue those who are stuck. Drones can thereby save lives.
- They can also be used in agriculture to disperse seeds, pollinate flowers, and identify crop diseases, and so on.
- They can reduce human workload by performing monotonous chores such as delivering goods, sowing seeds, and so on.
- Drones are extremely useful in substituting humans for working in dangerous places such as mining.
- Drones are being used in the military. By replacing humans, they can prevent or reduce the loss of life during wars.
- They can also be used to provide internet access in remote areas.
- Drones can replace various jobs, especially those that are monotonous. However, the good news is that drone technology is generating a lot more jobs in different sectors.
- Drones are cost-effective. Many people who buy drones for personal use, for example, use them to take aerial shots. Taking aerial pictures used to be quite expensive before drones were affordable to the general people.
Cons of drone technology
- Drones are vulnerable to cyber-attacks.
- It’s possible that they’ll crash with flights.
- Drones can be misused to stalk people, vandalize homes and engage in a variety of other anti-social behaviour. There have been numerous instances where drones have posed a security threat.
Conclusion
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have a wide range of applications. Drones have the potential to transform a variety of industries. Many industries, including agriculture, construction, mining, and filmmaking, are already using them.
“Language is not only a means of communication but also a tool by which we think”
Language is an essential part of human connection. Although different species have their different ways of communicating, humans are the only ones to have mastered language as a mode communication as it allows us to express share our ideas, feelings, and thoughts with others. So basically humans are made by the language. For most of the people language comes naturally whereas learning a language, say some foreign language means one has mastered the system of complex words, structure, and grammar to communicate efficiently with people of different cultures and societies. Language also plays an important role in the business field as without language one cannot share ideas and grow them into something better. Language also has the power to build or sometimes even destroy the societies.
As language can show our perspective, our understanding, the origin of the nation, our levels of education, and sometimes even our characters. Thus language acts as a mirror of us .Therefore for the communication to well both the parties that involves the sender and the receiver needs to have a proper command over their language.
Language is considered a basic tool of communication but it does not end here as it also acts a tool by which we think. Language indeed influences what we think. One such theory that supports this idea is the linguistic determinism. The concept of linguistic determinism is that language and its structures limit and determine human knowledge or thought, as well as thought processes such as categorization, memory, and perception. This term implies that people’s native languages will affect their thought process and way of thinking therefore people will have different thought processes based on their mother tongues. The differences in the conduction of how the different speakers of different origin such as Mandarin Chinese and English think and talk about time and this was included in one of the illustrations related to this phenomenon. In order to talk about time, the speaker of English origin tends to use terms that explains horizontal changes along the dimension. For example, the phrases used by him were “I’m running behind schedule” or “Don’t get ahead of yourself”. Meanwhile the speaker of Mandarin Chinese explained time in horizontal terms, the vertical arrangement of terms is not unusual to be used. According to the speaker, “up” might be used to describe past and “down” to describe future. It proves that variation in performance is interpreted by the variation language on tests planned with respect to the ordered relation between a mentioned event and an expression of time. The purpose of the test was to evaluate how rapidly one can acknowledge the said relation. Although Language does not completely establishes our thoughts as our thoughts are far too flexible, but habitual use of language can surely influence our habit of thought and action.
Apart from these, the relationship between communication and culture can be noticed from our daily ways of communication or interaction with individuals or a group of people. As the language we use must have been influenced by places we live and the society in which we are born and brought up in which has it own unique culture and identity. Therefore culture in regarded to way of life lived by human beings. Humans learn, think, feel, believe, and even look for whats appropriate according to their culture. Apart from Language, friendships, social and economic activity, politics, and even technologies are based on the various culturals. As for people who speak English, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Telugu etc, this is all because they have been raised in a culture that contains these characteristics. Their actions are a response to their cultural functions. Therefore culture and communication cannot be disassociated as it not only gives an idea about the persons who are having the communication and the topic of communication but also helps to encode the meaning of the messages.
Still there a lot of debate about language being a part of culture and language and culture being different, but they have a very close relationship, so it cannot be separated as most of the things in the culture are reflected in the language as well. If there is diversity in culture, there are also various communication practices. Even the background of a person can also be determined by the language he speaks or the way he speaks. Thus, it can be said that language used is influenced by the culture and vice versa.

Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs)
What are Non-Fungible Tokens?
NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) are units of data that are stored on a blockchain. They are non-fungible, which means they cannot be replaced by another identical item, which means they are unique.
For example, if an artist wishes to sell digital art online, he or she can convert it to NFT and then sell it. People can buy this artwork using cryptocurrency. They will be the official owners of digital artworks if they buy them as NFTs. They can resell it to someone else for a higher price. So, there will be only one official owner for NFT at a time.
Any digital work/art can be converted into NFTs. Music, video clips, photos, URLs, tickets, and metaverse virtual lands are just a few examples of the things that are being converted into NFTs.
Ethereum was the first blockchain to support NFTs. That’s why the Ethereum blockchain is mostly used for NFTs. Because of their growing popularity, several other blockchains are now adding support for NFTs.

The present situation
People are buying and selling NFTs through NFT marketplaces.Currently, the majority of NFTs are digital arts.
Bitcoin and Ethereum are cryptocurrencies that cannot be used for regular purchases. Only a few platforms, such as Xbox games and Overstock, accept cryptocurrency as a payment method. At present, cryptocurrencies are mostly used for trading. So, people who own cryptocurrencies now have something to invest in: NFTs. So, some NFTs were sold for millions of dollars. In February 2021, a Nyan cat gif that had been converted to NFT was sold for $58000. Another example is Jack Dorsey, the co-founder of Twitter, who sold his first tweet for $2.9 million. In August 2021, clip art of rock was sold for 400 ether ($1.3 million).
They are digital assets, according to some. Several people who have bought NFTs have stated that they bought these as an investment in the hope that their value will increase in the coming days.
Benefits of Non-Fungible Tokens
- NFTs enable artists to sell their paintings, music, and other works for a high price, which may not be possible before NFTs.
- Even though at present NFTs are mostly used to sell digital artworks and video clips, they can also be used for a variety of other reasons such as preserving important documents.
Problems with Non-Fungible Tokens
- The transaction of selling or buying an NFT consumes a lot of electricity. Because we are already fighting against climate change, this massive energy consumption is a serious problem.
- The copies of digital artworks that were sold as NFTs are now available online and can be seen for free by anyone.

- In the hope of becoming rich, many people are burning money to buy these overhyped digital artworks. Many will lose money when people lose interest in buying these NFTs. According to some, NFTs are a bubble that is going to burst.
- The non-financial-transactions sector is mostly unregulated.
- Hackers are stealing NFTs. They’re also sending malicious NFTs to steal cryptocurrencies. Recently, hackers stole $150k worth of crypto from Twitch co-founder’s Fractal NFT project.
The future of Non-Fungible Tokens
The technology offers a wide range of applications for storing and transferring digital assets. NFTs are still new and the technology is still in its early phases. So, with the new developments, the energy consumption of NFT transactions may also be reduced. Furthermore, the use of NFTs may increase.
Conclusion
Non-fungible tokens are unique pieces of data that are stored on a blockchain. Digital art, music, video clips, and tickets are just a few examples of the digital assets that are being transformed into NFTs. Some believe that this is a bubble that will burst, while others believe that NFTs will drive the digital economy. The technology is still in its early phases, so we must wait and see how it evolves.
IGNORANTIA JURIS NON EXCUSAT
Ignorantia juris non excusat is maxim of law which in Latin term means ignorance of the law is no excuse. In terms of law, ignorance of fact can be excused but ignorance of law can never be excused. The main motive behind the maxim is that if any accusation of offence is made against an individual, then the person cannot avoid the accountability by claiming that he was not familiar with the law.
In accordance to the maxim, if the law is ignored, it cannot be considered as an excuse to not comply it. If there is lack of facts in a case, one can ignore it but in case of ignorance of law. Every individual must be well acquainted by the laws of the particular inhabitant country and if the individual is unknown to the laws then it cannot be regarded as a cause to not follow it. If an individual is living in a different country, not his inhabitant one, then he is also required to be familiar with the country laws in which he is temporarily living and obey them accordingly. In criminal law, this maxim is often in use. As a warning, this maxim states that if the law is violated by any person then that particular person is liable to be punished irrespective of the fact of whether he knew or was unaware of the particular law and this would be considered as a criminal offence.
In order to avoid the consequences of unlawful actions, ignorance of law cannot be put into application as a protection. The basis logic behind the doctrine of ignorance was that if it was to be considered as an excuse, then a person charged under any criminal offence or issue related to civil suit of law would have successfully been able to escape the liability claiming that he was not aware of the law. If ignorance of law would have been used as defence, then the individual though being completely familiar to the law and its consequences yet could use the maxim effortlessly. The machinery of the enforcement of law would have been immobilized. As the maxim lacks many properties, it is thus a negative fact and evidences cannot be appealed by the court. In such case, a rigorous evaluation of the state of mind of the wrongdoer is required, which in itself is a challenging task to perform. If there is relaxation of the maxim, then it would be pleaded on the part of every accused that the law was unknown to him. Thus, taking into consideration the stated reasons, the claims under the ignorance of law is rejected by the legal authorities.
In India, we have a variety of laws such as contract, family, civil, criminal etc. If any individual ignores any of the following laws, he is held responsible under the law. For example, a wild buffalo is shot by a man in India. The man assumed it to be a domestic buffalo and was unaware of the law of wild protection which states that hunting of wild buffalo is considered illegal in India. Thus, the man is said to be portraying in ignorance of law. Thus, the claim under the ignorance of law is rejected by the legal authorities. Ignorance of law simply means lack of understanding of the general laws which are supposed to be known to everyone not taking into account whether the whole fact is known to him or not. Every individual must be well acquainted by the laws of the particular inhabitant country and if the individual is unknown to the laws than it cannot be regarded as a cause to not follow it. The main motive behind the maxim is that if any accusation of offence is made against an individual, then the person cannot avoid the accountability by claiming that he was not familiar with the law.
For example, a rifle is owned by a woman without license. She is caught by the police as possession of any weapon without license is illegal. She claims her defence by stating that she was unaware of the law. However, she was held liable for the same because it is assumed that every individual of a particular country should be acquainted by the rules of its nation.
Therefore, it can be inferred that from the maxim “ignorantia juris non excusat’ that an individual who disobeys the law shall be held liable irrespective of whether they are familiar to the laws or not. The people are also warned by this maxim. The main principle is the effective judicial administration that is enable by the good in common.
