Amazing Rain

Dubai created fake rain by using Drone as temperature crossed 50 degrees. The city is employing drone technology that shocks clouds into producing rain, this rain making technology known as Cloud Seeding.

To beat the heat, the United Arab Emirates’s(UAE) National Center of Meteorology came up with a solution that resulted in monsoon-like rainfall in the desert country. The enhanced rain is creates using drone technology known as cloud seeding, according to reports.

This technology, used to enhance precipitation, generates electrical charges prompting clouds to coalesce and produce water. Each year, the average precipitation in the country measures just 100 mm.

As per experts, the technology aims to create rain more efficiently within clouds and in the process, it triggers more water to come down. They suggest cloud seeding methods can help in alleviating the water problem.

TAKING CARE OF PERSONAL HYGIENE

BY: VAIBHAVI MENON

“Life is short so don’t risk it.” We know how important personal hygiene is, as keeping our body, hands and hair clean can stop the spread of germs and illnesses. Personal hygiene is defined by the practices you take to look after your physical health to avoid diseases by maintaining a certain level of personal cleanliness. It is a key element in our daily routines to live a healthy life. Thorough out our whole life a bunch of people or maybe even ourselves get diseases which could be life threatening and usually people consider the main reason for this to be not getting access to something and being careless about your surroundings. What they don’t know is that hygiene plays a very important part in not getting in contact with these diseases. For example during this ongoing pandemic, most people catch the virus because they don’t take the proper precautions like sanitizing yourself or wearing masks. Therefore taking care of your personal hygiene is a very important thing to do if you want to lead a healthy life.

Few basic ways in which we can maintain personal hygiene could be through simple activities like taking a shower atleast once a day, brushing your teeth twice a day, making sure to floss your teeth, applying deodorant to avoid foul smell, washing your body with soap, cutting your nails, washing your hair properly thrice a week, making sure your face is clean before going to sleep, wearing comfortable clothing, changing your pillowcases once a week, cleaning your phone screen to remove it of any bacteria, wearing a mask, carrying sanitizers, washing your hands with proper techniques, covering your mouth while sneezing your coughing, applying sunscreen even if you aren’t going out, putting on perfume or body mists. It is important to change sanitary products regularly and to wash the hands before and after changing tampons, pads, or any other sanitary products. As vaginas are self-cleaning, using soap to clean the vagina can cause an imbalance of its natural bacteria and lead to infections. The vulva (the external part of the vagina) should only need cleaning once a day using a mild soap and water. People with an uncircumcised penis can clean it by gently pulling back the foreskin and washing underneath it with warm water or soap. If you can’t remember to do things like shower, wash your hair, clip your nails, or brush your teeth, set a reminder on your phone. The cue will push you to the activity, and over time, you’ll begin to do it yourself. Hang a reminder in the bathroom to wash your hands after using the toilet. Put a little sign by the plates or bowls in the kitchen to cue yourself to wash your hands before eating. These signs can help jog your memory and improve your habits.

Therefore maintaining personal hygiene is beneficial for you and your own health and it’s considered one way of helping you in having a healthy and safe life.

The Shadow Lines – A Story about lost Identity!

The novel ‘The Shadow Lines by Amitav Ghosh centers around a young boy, the narrator, whose growth in age and maturity is traced slowly through his understanding of the memories that connect him and his family members. Through the novel, we see that the narrator has flashbacks in time as bits and pieces of stories, both half-remembered and imagined, come together in his mind until he arrives at an intricate, interconnected picture of the world where borders and boundaries mean nothing, mere shadow lines that we draw dividing people and nations.

The title ‘The Shadow Lines’ depicts the author’s perspective on the cultural, ideological, geographical, and psychological borders, which he asks us to disregard in favor of broader humanism. The title ‘shadow lines’ can refer to many different things, but I believe that the allusion of Amitav makes is to the borders that separate nations from each other.

Divisions between nations – shadow lines

Amitav Ghosh asserts that the borders that separate nations are nothing more than artificial lines created by humans. Thus, the ‘shadow lines of the title are the borders that divide people, and one of the main emphases of the novel is on the arbitrariness of such cartographic demarcations.

Why are these lines ‘shadowy’ then? Because like shadows, they lack substance, they lack meaning. Ghosh believes that these ‘shadow lines’, these meaningless borders, can and should be crossed – if not physically, then at least mentally through our imagination and open-minded acceptance of people, irrespective of nationality, religion, or race.

In the novel, the lives of the narrator’s family have been irrevocably changed as a consequence of Bengal’s Partition between India and Pakistan at the time of Independence and the subsequent experience of the East Pakistan Civil War of 1971, which led to the creation of Bangladesh. Towards the end, when members of the family are about to undertake a journey from Calcutta to their former home in Dhaka, the narrator’s grandmother asks whether she will be able to see the border between India and East Pakistan from the plane.

She is puzzled when told that there will be no such visible demarcation and says: “But if there aren’t any trenches or anything, how are people to know? I mean, where’s the difference then? And if there’s no difference both sides will be the same; it’ll be just like it used to be before when we used to catch a train in Dhaka and get off in Calcutta the next day . . .”

The novel is about how pain inflicts in human life even though it is a heart-throbbing past. The burden of the past never leaves is quite visible through this novel, as the characters in the novel who have suffered from the feeling of losing their real homes, their originality, and motherland show the readers about the devastation of Humans and the consequences with humans community due to war and riots.

This ingenious response on her part highlights the absurdity of the revisionist map-making of the politicians responsible for Partition. Because the truth is that there is no difference between this side of the border and that. There’s nothing concrete about these borders for they only exist in maps and our minds.

Breech Baby

A breech pregnancy occurs when the baby (or babies!) is positioned head-up in the woman’s uterus, so the feet are pointed toward the birth canal. About 3-4 pregnancies result in the baby being breech. In a “normal” pregnancy, the baby will automatically turn inside the womb into a head-down position to get ready for birth, so a breech pregnancy presents a few different challenges for both mother and baby.

There are three different types of breech pregnancies: frank, complete, and footling breech, depending on how the baby is positioned in the uterus. With all types of breech pregnancies, the baby is positioned with its bottom toward the birth canal instead of the head.

Reasons for breech baby

  • if a woman has had several pregnancies
  • in pregnancies with multiples
  • if a woman has had a premature birth in the past
  • if the uterus has too much or too little amniotic fluid, meaning the baby has extra room to move around in or not enough fluid to move around in
  • if the woman has an abnormally shaped uterus or has other complications, such as fibroids in the uterus
  • if a woman has placenta previa

baby is not considered breech until around 35 or 36 weeks. In normal pregnancies, a baby usually turns head-down to get into position in preparation for birth. It’s normal for babies to be head-down or even sideways before 35 weeks. After that, though, as the baby gets bigger and runs out of room, it becomes harder for the baby to turn and get into the correct position. Your doctor will be able to tell if your baby is breech by feeling your baby’s position through your stomach. They will also most likely confirm that the baby is breech using an ultrasound in the office and in the hospital before you deliver.

Fashion-Changes in clothing styles-An overview

Fashion industry is a fast growing industry offering great opportunities to fashion enthusiasts all over the world. It has evolved over time and now people wear clothes not only to cover themselves but to express as well. Now, clothes are more about styling and depicting one’s personality. In fact, people are divided on this basis. You can see variation in clothes of rich and poor, native and foreign, and many other categories all over the world. The clothing sense of countries also differ whether they are neighbouring or distant.

In earlier times, people would stitch together the threads just to make garments for their use but now they make it for others as well. It has now taken shape of a business where tailors sell ready-made as well as on-demand outfits to the public. There have been a variety of production when it comes to designs in clothes. Focusing mainly on Indian clothing styles, it initiated from kurta-pyjamas for men and women wore ghagra-choli(tops with long skirts) which evolved to jeans and tops/shirts in the modern era.

It is more about fashion now. The standard of a person is being decided by their clothes and sense of fashion determines how up-to-date a person is. Even if we observe the changes in school uniforms, you will see an improvement for the sake of becoming modern. There occurs a difference between the uniform of a govt. school and that of a private school. The more reputed schools(usually private schools with high fees) design their uniforms in a more formal and aesthetic way than a local one. This also marks the standard of a school.

In India, there is ‘unity in diversity’. The diversity here signals to the variability in culture too, among other differences. People of different regions follow their own culture and practices where the difference in clothing sense is not a big thing to notice. Every region, religion and tradition has its own look which is used to identify them. But, from a farther view, we all look same, following a similar trend. It is only the days of special occasion when people would merry on wearing ethnics and all, otherwise we all follow a common fashion expressing our united beliefs in modernity and comfort clothing.

Ongoing is the time of ripped jeans and extra-size t-shirts which is common in male and female dress code. Fashion gives the advantage of designing without differentiating. As much as can be a women’s apparel be unique and decorative, a men apparel too can be so. There are no limits to fashion. People prefer a new type every time it takes the lead. This indicates how alert and active people are, in relation to their dressing and looks. Some people would prefer more pockets in their lowers to make it useful while some would like tight-fitted, printed jeans even without pockets. The times are always changing and one or the other trend always catches the fire and is followed around in the market. However some people settle for a limited designs i.e. they don’t get attracted too often by these trends and stay in their selected apparel zone for long time.

Social media plays a significant role in business, so do in fashion. Fashion influencers around the globe get a large following which doesn’t need any explanation as to how updated people prefer to be. Gender, age or region doesn’t mark the boundaries for such people. It is all in the mind. Whoever has a passion or determination gets what they aspire and this is how the fashion industry also works. It is more about present and even more about the future forecasts. The upcoming trends are the ones created in the present moment and accepted wide across.

Input devices:

An input device is used to feed data into a computer. For example, a keyboard is an input device. It is also defined as a device that prob communication between the user and the computer. Input devices are capable of converting data into a form which can be recognized by computer. A computer can have several input devices.

🌟Keyboard:🌟

The most common input device in the keyboard. Keyboard consists of a set of typewriter like keys that enable you to enter Dara into a computer. They have alphabetic keys to enter commw, period, semicolon, etc., and special keys to perform some specific functions. The keyboard detects the key pressed and generates the corresponding ASCII codes which can be recognized by by the computer.

🌟Mouse:🌟

Mouse is an input device that controls the movement of the cursor on the display screen. Mouse is a small device, you can roll along a flat surface. In a mouse, a small ball is kept inside and touches the pad through a hole at the bottom of the mouse. When the mouse is moved, the ball rolls. This movement of the ball is converted into signals and sent to the computer. You will need to click thr button at the tip of the mouse to select an option. Mouse pad is pad over which you can move a mouse. Mois very popular in modern computers.

🌟Scanner:🌟

Scanner is an input device that allows the information such as an image or text to be input into a computer. It can read image or text printed on a paper and translate the information into a format that the computer can use. That is, it is used to convert images (photos) and text into a stream of data. They are useful for publishing and multi-media applications.

🌟Bar Code Reader:🌟

The barcode readers are used in places like supermarket, bookshops, etc. A bar code is a pattern printed in lines of different thickness. The bar-code reader scans the information on the bar code and transmits to the computer for further processing. The system gives fast and error-free entry of information into the computer.

🌟Digital Camera:🌟

The digital camera is an input device mainly used to capture images. The digital camera takes a still photograph, stores it and sends it as digital input to the computer. It is a modern and popular input device.

🌟Touch Sensitive Screen:🌟

Touch Sensitive Screen is a type of display screen that has a touch-sensitive panel. It is a pointing device that enables the user to interact with the computer by touching the screen. You can use your fingers to directly touch the objects on the screen. The touch screen senses the touch on the object (area pre-defined) and communicate the object selection to the computer.

🌟Magnetic Ink character Recognition (MICR):🌟

MICR is widely used by banks to process cheques. Human readable numbers are printed on documents such as cheque using a special magnetic ink. The cheque can be read using a special input unit, which can recognize magnetic ink characters. This method eliminates the manual errors. It also saves time, ensures security and accuracy of data.

🌟Optical Character Recognition(OCR):🌟

The OCR technique permits the direct reading of any printed character like MICR but no special ink is required. With OCR,a user can scan a page from a book. The computer will recognize the characters in the page as letters and punctuation marks, and stores. This can be edited using a word processor.

🌟Optical Mark Reading and Recognition(OMR):🌟

In this method special pre-printed forms are designed with boxes which can be marked with a dark pencil or ink. Such documents are read by a reader, which transcribe the marks into electrical pulses which are transmitted to the computer. They are widely used in applications like objective type answer papers evaluation in which large number of candidates appear, time sheets of factory employees etc.

🌟Light Pen:🌟

A light pen is a pointing device shaped like a pen and is connected to a monitor. The tip ofvthevlight pen contains a light-sensitive element which, when placed against the screen, detects the light from the screen enabling the Computer to identify the location of the pen of the screen. Light pens have the advantages of drawing directly onto the screen, but this can become uncomfortable, and they are not accurate.

🌟Magnetic Reader:🌟

Magnetic reader is an input device which reads a magnetic strip onna card. It is handy and data can be stored and retrieved. It also provides quick identification of the card’s owner.

All the credit cards, ATM cards (banks),petro cards, etc. stores datacijna magnetic strip which can be read easily by the magnetic reader.

🌟Smart cards:🌟

This input device stores data in a Microprocessor embedded in the card. This allows information, which can be updated, to be stored on the card. These data can be read and given as input to the computer for further processing. Most of the identification card use this method to store and retrieve the vital information.

🌟Notes Taker:🌟

Notes taker is a device that captures natural handwriting on any surface into a computer. Using an electronic pen, the notes taker displays the user’s handwritten notes, memos or drawing on the computer ,and stores the image for future use.

🌟Microphone:🌟

Microphone serves as a voice input device. It captures the voice data and input to the computer. Using the microphone along with speech recognition software can offer a completely new approach to input information into your computer.

Speech recognition programs, although not yet completely exact have made great strides in accuracy as well as ease of use. The voice-in or speech recognition approach can almost fully replace the keyboard and mouse. Speech recognition can now open the computer world to those who may have been restricted due to a physical handicap. It can also be soon be a boon for those who have never learned to type.

INVERTEBRATE

Phylum Porifera
(Pore bearers)

These are multicellular, non-motile aquatic organisms, commonly called as sponges. Body is perforated with many pores called ostia. Water enters into the body through ostia and leads to a canal system. It circulates water throughout the body and carries food, oxygen. The body wall contains spicules, which form the skeletal framework. Reproduction is by both asexual and sexual methods. e.g- Euplectella, Sycon.

Phylum Coelenterata
(Cnidaria)

Coelenterates are aquatic organisms, mostly marine and few fresh water forms. They are multicellular, radially symmetrical animals with two layers. The tentacles bear stinging cells called cnidoblast or nematocyst. They reproduce both asexually and sexually. e.g. Hydra, Jellyfish.

Phylum Platyhelminthes
(Flat worms)

They are bilaterally symmetrical, triploblastic, acoelomate (without body cavity) animals. Most of them are parasitic in nature. Suckers and hooks help the animal to attach itself to the body of the host. Excretion occurs by specialized cells called flame cells. e.g- Liverfluke, Tapeworm.

Phylum Aschelminthes
(Round worms)

Aschelminthes are bilaterally symmetrical, triploblastic animals. The body cavity is a pseudocoelom. They exist as free-living soil forms or as parasites. The body is round and pointed at both the ends. It is unsegmented and covered by thin cuticle. e.g. Ascaris, Wuchereria.

Phylum Annelida
(Segmented worms)

These are bilaterally symmetrical, triploblastic, first true coelomate animals with organ-system grade of organization. Body is extremely divided into segments called metameres joined by ring like structures called annuli. e.g. Earthworm, Leech.

Phylum Arthropoda
(Animals with jointed legs)

They are bilaterally symmetrical, triploblastic and coelomate animals. They can be found in all types of habitats–land, water and soil. They have jointed limbs. The body is segmented into three regions–Head, Thorax and Abdomen. e.g. Prawn, Crab.

Phylum Hemichordata

Hemichordata is bilaterally symmetrical, triploblastic and coelomate animals. They are exclusively marine animals. They can be solitary or in colonies. Hemichordata have a true body cavity or coelom. e.g. Balanoglossus (Acorn worms).

Critical appreciation of the movie 'Parasite'

The parasite is a film that is inevitably mind-blowingly awesome, which would leave even the most verbose enthusiast speechless!.

The movie was celebrated all over the world for its nuanced take on social inequality and making its way to Oscar’s history as the first foreign language winner of best picture. But Bong Joon Ho’s ( director ) scathing critique of modern society goes way beyond its riveting plot points.

Plot and title

Parasite centers around the abjectly poor but cunning Kim family who dream of escaping their filthy semi-basement they scam their way into the lives of the very wealthy park family innovating methods to find work as a tutor, chauffeur, art therapist, and housekeeper for most parts things went smoothly until they found out they’re not the only one beguiling the family, the former housekeeper husband has been staying in the house hidden bunker for year’s to hide from debt collectors.

Tensions between the two working-class families mount and everything descents down at a very bloody birthday party leaving several deaths, after stabbing Mr park, Mr. Kim retreats into the same bunker to hide avoiding the foreseeable future, meanwhile the Kim son fantasies about buying the house and freeing his dad.

Title

The title parasite represents the way these four members of the lower class leach off the good nature and generosity of the Park family, but what is Bong trying to tell us in the aftermath is that the parks are also leaching off the lowers classes by living comfortably on the backs of their labor thus questioning the audience In late-capitalist society who are the parasites? the poor are surviving off the rich while the rich are living off the poor the middle class are busy making resumes

Cinematography and symbolic references

The film owes much of its success around the world to its reliance on cinematic language rather than the spoken language we examine two families on opposite sides of the economic spectrum and every cinematic tool has been used to contrast between the two.

The first shot of the film shows Kims semi-basement window with a glimpse of natural sunlight pouring through and the camera moves downward compare to that we see the park’s home, the camera is moving upwards to the modern home architecture into the full view of the sun we see that Bong ( director)  has used the balance of light and darkness, natural and urban environment to signify their economic status

Most parts of the movies showed Kim’s family infiltration process following the same visual pattern upward towards light finding their host and again moving downwards into darkness until the revealing of the bunker where we descend to the lowest point with no sunlight and no hope it’s more of a prison than a home, but at least better than being dead.

The Kim’s got a taste of paradise to live among the rich before the rain flushed them right back down the parks are sanctioned from everything, not necessarily antagonists but rather they are disconnected from everyday life failing to see the harsh reality of the economically weaker section of the society.

Everything in the movie from clothing, hairstyle to the sad empty fridge, is used to indicate their stature as a family in the lower class, even their smell gives them the way but something never changes and that the dream that once lifted you can come back to haunt you.

She wanted to carry on football as her career but did not see any prospects for herself in women’s football scene in India. Later on , she was advised by physical education teacher at JNV to opt for sprint running.

“All’s well that end’s well” this proverb suits so well in the case of this 21 year old sprinter. We don’t know what would have happened if she had taken football as her career but as a sprinter ,she is pride of India

It is very saddening and disheartening to know that she did not qualify for Tokyo Olympics 2020. It should be noted that she suffered with hamstring injury before giving her qualification test.

Born in the family of farmers Hima Das was never a privileged kid , but through her firm will she stated clearly that achievement comes only through pure hard work and dedication.

Mental Health is Important: We need help!

“It’s not an issue, just shake it off and get a good night’s sleep, you’ll be fine in the morning.”

Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean that it’s not there. Mental Health is just as important as physical health!

The change of phase from teens to youth and then adolescents is a very bumpy journey. While parents and mentors prepare you for the changes that happen to the body, they don’t give you even the slightest hint about the rollercoaster ride that your mind and emotions are going to take you for. People often think of it as something that will eventually return to ‘normal’ if you don’t give much attention to it.

Unfortunately, the struggle is real whether you are prepared for it or not.

Who Do the Youths Look to for Help?

There is no doubt that they keep such things hidden from their parents. But why is that you ask? Well, the reason being that ‘you’re not expected to have such issues and it’s just a phase. There is no need to make a big deal about it.

Many parents don’t understand what you’re going through despite going through similar situations back when they were teens.

Eventually, teens and youths turn to their friends. Because they ‘understand’. Even though the advice of friends can be wrong at times, it is a huge relief to just speak to someone and let it all out.

Common Mental Illnesses in Teens

  • Generalized anxiety – Excessive worry about everyday matters

Ex. Feeling restless, fatigued, struggling with concentration, irritated, struggling with sleep, not able to control worry.

  • Social phobias – Severe feelings of self-consciousness and insecurity in social settings

Ex. Anxious and struggling to be around people, worry about being judged, struggling to make friends, feeling nauseated around people.

  • Depression – Persistent feelings of sadness, anxiety and emptiness

Ex. Sad, anxious and empty, feeling hopeless, irritability, guilty, worthless, restless, having thoughts of suicide and death, fatigue or lack of energy.

How to look after yourself?

It is important to look after your mental health because it’s a vital part of your life and it greatly impacts your thoughts, behaviours and emotions. Emotional health leads to productivity and effectiveness in activities. It will also help you adapt to changes and cope with adversity.

Steps that can be taken are:

  • exercising daily,
  • eating a balanced diet of healthy meals,
  • opening up to people in your circle,
  • taking a break when you need it,
  • getting a good night’s sleep, and most importantly
  • remembering that you are valued and amazing and strong.

**Tip — Getting up early in the morning and as soon as you wake up, proclaim it out loud that you are strong, confident, amazing, successful and so on….(add words of your choice that you want to be, or see happening in your life)

This can help the way you think and feel about yourself and in boosting your confidence and self-esteem.

Key Facts

  1. People affected are one in 6 people aged 10-19 years.
  2. Half of the mental health conditions start by the age of 14 years.
  3. Depression is one of the leading causes.
  4. Suicide is the fourth leading cause of death in 15–19-year-olds.
  5. As a result of not addressing the mental health issues in adolescents, the problems eventually have an impact on both their physical and mental health and has drastic effects in the long run.

In Time(2011): Explained

It has always been said that time is money, what if this was taken literally. The movie is set in a world where Time is literally the universal currency, time is transfer either directly or stored in time capsules. Whenever a persons timer reaches zero they instantly die, this is known as timing out. In this world several time zones exist that divide the people depending on the time they have. People are genetically modified to stop aging at 25 after which their clocks start ticking down, they are given a year before the countdown runs out to zero.

The movie focuses around Will Salas a 28 year old factory worker who lives in one of the poorest time zones, Dayton is a manufacturing ghetto where people rarely have more than a day on their clocks. Will works in a manufacturing plant and lives with his 50 year mother Rachel. One night while returning from his shift Will saves a drunk man pursued by a time stealing group of bandits known as the mintuemen. The drunk man introduces himself as Henry Hamilton a 105 year old man, he tells Will that the people in New Greenwich an elite Time zone are hoarding time. Hamilton gives all of his time to an asleep Will and times out by falling off a bridge.

Raymond Leon the leader of unit of time keepers assumes that Will killed Hamilton and robbed him off his time. Will visits his friend Borel who advices him to get out of Dayton, Will gives Borel 10 years of time. Will decides to leave to New Greenwich along with his mother, his mother however dies having exhausted her time paying off a loan. Rachel timed out as she didn’t have enough to pay for a bus ride whose prices were increased suddenly. Will vows to get revenge for his mothers death by getting back at the people of New Greenwich who control the world.

Will arrives in Greenwich and starts living a better life, he meets Phillipe Wise and his daughter Sylvia Wise at a casino. Will gambles his time and plays poker, he wins over a millennium from the game. Sylvia invites Will to a party, Will and Sylvia get pretty close before Raymon arrives to arrest Will. Raymond doesn’t let Will prove his innocence and simply confiscates all but 2 hours from Will, Will escapes to Dayton taking Sylvia as hostage.

Upon reaching Dayton, the duo is ambushed by the minutemen. The gang leaves the duo with 30 minutes each, Will attempts to get back some time from Borel but learns that Borel drank himself to death. They eventually manage to get a day each by pawning off Sylvia’s earrings. Will calls Weis to demand a 1000 tear ransom to be paid into the time mission for the desperate, an initiative for the poor. Weis refuses but Will releases Sylvia anyway, Raymond attempts to capture Will but Sylvia saves him.

Sylvia understanding the reality of the world decides to work together with Will to rob time banks and distribute time to the needy. They soon realise that they cant make any significant change as the New Greenwich residents just increase prices to compensate for the stolen time. The duo is again ambushed by the minutemen, Will defeats Fortis the leader and kills the rest of the thugs. The duo decides to rob Weis vault and distribute the time, Raymond chases the duo back to Dayton but times out as he forgets to download his day’s salary. The duo nearly times out themselves but them manage to save themselves by downloading Raymond’s salary. The duo continues robbing larger banks in an attempt to crash the system.

The movie brings an old saying to life, a really unique concept with an amazing execution. I’ll recommend the movie to every fan of science fiction, this movie also sheds some light on the hoarding problem of the rich. This problem is apparent in the real world too where the rich keep getting richer while the poor suffer. The movie has an excellent cast with Justin Timberlake as Will Salas, Amanda Seyfried as Sylvia Weis, and Cillian Murphy as timekeeper Raymond Leon.

POSITIVE THINKING

Positive thinking is a mental attitude in which thoughts, words, and images that promote growth, expansion, and success are admitted into the mind. It’s a mindset that anticipates positive outcomes. Happiness, joy, health, and a favourable outcome of every event and deed are all predicted by a positive thinking. The mind discovers whatever it is looking for. Positive thinking isn’t universally accepted or believed. Some dismiss the topic as gibberish, while others mock those who believe it. Few people accept it, and even fewer know how to put it to good use. Nonetheless, as indicated by the numerous books, talks, and courses available on the subject, it appears that many people are getting interested in it.

When someone is feeling depressed and anxious, it is typical to hear someone advice, “Think optimistic.” The majority of people don’t take these terms seriously because they don’t understand what they mean or don’t think they’re beneficial or effective. How many people do you know who pause to consider the significance of positive thinking? As a result, the first step is to adopt a positive mindset. The first and most important step we must take is to think positively. We will be useless and worthless if we do not engage in positive thinking. When we begin something, we must believe that we will achieve success and be worthy of our efforts. And, even in the face of adversity, we should remain optimistic (think about our goal, that we must reach it). Then examine the outcome to see if it is superior to the norm. Consider what happens if we work on something without thinking positively. We will experience the “pain” of the process, and the end result will be worse than we anticipated.

Positive emotions like joy, satisfaction, and love clear the way for us to see greater possibilities in our lives. Positive emotions provide the greatest advantage in that they allow a person to recognize and develop his or her genuine abilities for later use. We feel pleasurable and joyful when we maintain a good attitude. It has a direct impact on our health and supplies us with an abundance of nutrients. It improves the way we talk, feel, and react in everyday situations. A negative person is prone to be narrow-minded and fixated on negative thoughts, causing problems in their lives. Positive thinking is not difficult to achieve if one makes a consistent and conscientious effort. Someone’s words, thoughts, or feelings may also affect us automatically and subconsciously. Positive thinking is a 99 percent effective way of living. Positive people are more trustworthy and helpful, therefore people like to associate with them. To employ this weapon in life, a person must know more than just that it exists. In whatever he does, he needs to maintain a positive attitude.

How to Apply Positive Thinking?

1. Use positive words while talking

2.Make use of terms that conjure up images of strength and achievement.

3.Shift your focus.

4.Remove all negative emotions and thoughts, and concentrate on happy ones.

5.Use affirmations that are positive.

6.Begin to believe that you will achieve your goals.

7.Allow yourself to forgive yourself and go forward.

8.Examine what went wrong to prevent making the same mistakes in the future, and look forward to a brighter future.

9.To increase positivity and motivation, work on your visualization or imagination.

10.Consider failure to be a chance to learn something new.

11.Practicing thankfulness can help you relax, boost your self-esteem, and stay resilient when things get tough.

12.Practice positive self-talk and be aware of your inner voice.

How to Maintain a Positive Attitude?

It’s important to keep a good attitude amid a deeply upsetting event or grievance, and it’s also important to relieve yourself of the burden of finding the silver lining. Instead, focus your efforts on obtaining adequate support from others. Positive thinking does not imply concealing unpleasant thoughts to avoid conflicting emotions, but rather motivating oneself to move forward and accomplish positive changes. When you’re going through a difficult period, comfort yourself by giving yourself excellent counsel, acknowledging your feelings, and reminding yourself how strong you are to fight and overcome.
