 Virat believes that Anushka’s presence is a lucky charm in his life. Yes in today’s article we are going to talk about the most trending couple, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma. People started to adore them as they are setting a perfect relationship goal to this young generation.

Before we know how this couple started their love story let’s talk about their individual and professional life.

Yes, we are talking about our present Indian cricket team captain Mr. Virat Kohli. He was born on 5th November 1988 in Delhi, he belongs to Punjabi Hindu family. His father’s name was Prem Kohli and by profession, he was a criminal lawyer and his mother Saroj Kohli is a homemaker. When he was three- years old, he started showing his interest towards cricket bat, as he started swinging it and asked his father to bowl at him.

Kohli was brought up in Uttam Nagar and started his education at Vishal Bharti Public school. Nine year old boy took part in West Delhi Academy which was created in 1998. “ Virat shouldn’t waste his time in playing cricket in gully instead join a professional club” suggested one of his neighbours after that Virat’s father took him to the academy.

 Kohli was a very energetic and enthusiastic player, he was ready to bat at any point of time, he never gets tired of batting, to be very honest I had to push him out of the academy said Kohli’s trainer Rajkumar Sharma. Despite being  very interested in sports Virat was very good at his academy he was a “bright and alert child”.

Everyone has their struggle at a point. Virat also faced many struggles in his life when his father passed away on 18 December 2006 due to a stroke. After losing his father, the family started facing a tough time as their business was not running well, and stayed in a rented place.

Kohli first played for Delhi Under-15 team in October 2002, he played very well in Polly Umrigar Trophy. Later he became the captain of Polly Umrigar Trophy and scored 390 runs in 5 innings with two centuries and two fifties. After that he got selected in the Under-17 team for Vijay Merchant Trophy again he scored 470 runs in four matches, he was unstoppable and was an emerging star in cricket. In July 2006, he was selected in India under -19 where his score was 105 in three matches against England in ODI series. In 2008 Under-19 Indian team captain Virat Kohli brought the world cup title. After that, Virat got selected in Indian cricket team and the rest is history. This is a short history of Virat Kohli.

We are here to know more about a very talented and very confident actress Mrs Anushka Sharma. Sharma was born on 1st May 1988 in Ayodhya and raised in Bangalore. She completed her schooling from army school and received a degree in arts from Mount Carmel College.

Her father Ajay Kumar Sharma served the nation as he was an army officer and her mother is a housewife.  Her father belongs to Uttar Pradesh and her mother is Garhwali. After completing her graduation she moved to Mumbai as she always wanted to pursue modelling or journalism as a career. Before entering into Bollywood she worked as a model.

Later she joined Elite Model Management where she was groomed by style consultant Prasad Bidapa. She always loves to walk on the ramp beside this Anushka joined  the acting school and started giving auditions for film roles. One fine day she got a chance to make her debut in Bollywood opposite of Mr Shah Rukh Khan for the romantic film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi which was a huge hit in  the Indian cinema, after that her acting skills made her career she got many roles in Bollywood she worked with Ranveer Singh in Band Baja Barat,

Again with  Shah Rukh Khan and Kartrina Kaif in Jab Tak Hai Jaan, in Sanju with Sanjay Dutt, in Pk with Amir Khan and many more. Anushka is the co-founder of the production company named Clean Slate Filmz, she also produced many films. She owns a brand named Nush which has clothing for women. She is an animal lover and also supports various charities and causes like gender equality and animal rights. This is a short detail about her life.

FROM A SHOOT AD TO MARRIAGE – VIRAT AND ANUSHKA’S LOVE STORY !!

They share a very strong bond as this couple never gave up on each other. 

These two met each other in 2013 where they were shooting for a shampoo advertisement, at that time Virat was at his peak in his career and Anushka also stepped her feet in Bollywood. After a few months of rumours about their relationship whether they are together or not, they said we never tried to hide our relationship. We are two young people in a relationship. These two first spotted each other cheering at an Indian Super League football game in Pune in November 2014. After that Anushka appeared many times during  matches cheering for Virat and Indian Team. They were loving each other’s company they both were very fond of each other, they also support each other for their work and never leave a chance to appreciate for their hard work and motivate each other, as once Anushka said  “ Whenever an opportunity comes Kohli grabs it with both the hands” and Virat also appreciated Anushka’s performance in NH10 by saying “ Just watched NH10 and I am blown away. What a brilliant film and especially an outstanding performance by my love”.

Every relationship faces ups and downs, there was a time when this couple started facing problems in their personal life. Virat was not able to play well in several matches, he was not scoring well, because of this many people started trolling Anushka Sharma for his poor performance, whenever she came she always gets trolled by saying that she is not a lucky charm for him. Some people called her bad omen for Virat. After this, they got split up from each other, as Anushka wanted to focus on her career and Virat whole heartedly wanted to marry Anushka, later on, they both unfollowed each other on social media. As soon as this cute couple got separated from each other, Virat started playing very well in his matches. Just when Virushka’s fan started believing that Virat and Anushka gave up on their relationship, but then the couple spotted a dinner date. After a few days, Virat started following Anushka on social media. These were the signs where Virushka’s fans got to know that they are on the way to re-start their relationship.

“A PERFECT MARRIAGE IS JUST TWO IMPERFECT  PEOPLE WHO REFUSE TO GIVE UP ON EACH OTHER”.

This couple set an example that if you truly love someone you cannot let that person go. They always stood for each other in their bad times, they were always there for each other. Distance does not make any difference in their love.

After being together for 4 years this couple decided to tie a knot 11th December 2017. They got married in Tuscany, Italy. They only invited a few people which included family members and close members. It was the dream come true moment for Virat as well as for Anushka. The wedding cost up to 45 crores. It was worth it to watch their pictures of their wedding. They both looked very beautiful in Sabyasachi outfits. Anushka’s lehenga took 32 days and 67 workers to complete her wedding lehenga, this pink pretty lehenga costs up to 8.75 lakhs, but yes, she was looking an angel in Sabyasachi and on other hand our Indian captain looked stunning in his sherwani which costs up to 40 lakhs. On this day they promised each other that they will be with each other for lifetime.

AND THEN THEY WERE THREE……

Every married couple dreams to have a baby, Anushka and Virat also shared their good news with their fans that they are expecting their first child in January 2021. Kohli shared his happiness on social media by posting “And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021”. On 11 January 2021 their little ones came into this world, Anushka gave birth to a baby girl and they named her Vamika which means goddess Durga.

You Can’t Live an Indian Life without a saree – 4 different saree you should know about!!

City Of Joy – Kolkata yes we are now talking about the tant saree which is famous in all over West Bengal. It is originally made from Bengal cotton handloom, it is also known as taant, tat, taat . This saree is not only worn by west Bengals but also women in Bangladesh is also fond of tant saree. This saree is has a speciality as it is light as airy texture and very suitable for the warm weather. These saree has a thick border and decorative pallu and is decorated by floral pattern.

BACKGROUND – 

The word “Tant” indicate the handloom in Bengal that are used weave cotton garments like saree, dhoti and other garments. the background of this saree took place in the 15th century in shantipur. 

The art gave wave during the Mughal rule 16th – 18th century when it became an extreme favourite among Muslim and jamdani weaving. This beautiful art continued during the British rule and decades before independence. After the partition of Bengal in 1947, many weavers from Bangladesh migrated to India and started living in neighbouring town shantipur, now it became a new home for Tangail weavers of Bangladesh. today both Bengalis and Bangladeshi weaver are well known for the varieties of tant saree.

WEAVING TECHNIQUE –  

  1. A massive quantity of cotton threads comes from the mill are first washed to remove any chemicals, dried in the sun, bleached and again dried.
  2. Then they are put in boiling water which contains colour to dye them.

  1. After this, they are then starched and processed some more times to make then stronger and subtler. The threads are wound on bamboo drums for weaving.
  2. Every saree has a design on its border, pallu and body . These design made by the artist on a soft card sheet by perforating them which are then put up from the loom. 
  3. The simplest saree takes about 10- 12 hours to weave, and saree which have complex design takes 5-6 days to get complete. 

State Of Jewels – Gujarat, which is famous for bandhani work derived from the Hindi/Sanskrit word “ bandhna” and “bandha”, which means tying or to tie. Traditionally in India tie and dye art known as bandhani. According to the design and motifs each pattern has its special significance.

BACKGROUND – 

 It is an ancient practice done by people. People used the technique of picking the cloth with fingernails and tying before dying, this was first found in Indus valley civilization, back to 4000 B.C. even the Buddhist painting, and Ajanta caves have bandhani design in it. 

MAKING PROCESS – 

  1.  Here the selection of cloth plays an important role. The artist starts with the unbleached white fabric. 
  2. Then they have block printing design in other words it is senticels  for printing on saree they give impressing by designed blocked on saree
  3. Later they grab some amount of cloth and tie with thread tightly, they also use some kinds of pebbles, motis , stones to give design to the saree.
  4. Then they dip the cloth into normal water to soak the saree so that colour can easily stick to the cloth.
  1. After this, they put the saree in the boiling water which contains salt and colour. 
  2. Again they put the saree in the cold water and at last they dry the saree. And after untying you will find beautiful designs on saree.

State of Caves – Maharashtra. Every bride in Maharashtra dream to wear paithani saree at her wedding, one of the most beautiful saree in India. Paithani gives the reflection of rich Marathi culture and tradition. Paithani is woven with very fine silk which makes them one of the richest saree in India. 

BACKGROUND –

Paithani is extracted more than the 2000 year back from statvahana dynasty. it is said that paithani is originated from the city called pratishan now it is known as paithan. At that time paithan was the centre of silk and zari ( gold yarn) and they even exported cotton and silk to the roman empire. So this is how paithani gots its name.

MAKING PROCESS – 

  1. At first pallu or padar of paithani is weaved it is either woven either with zari work or silk warp. Traditionally zari work has silver coated with wash gold. Pallu is designed with akruti, asawali, banddimore etc.
  2. Next step is to weave its body. The body has bordered on the edges which are handwoven by gold and silver zari. As the border is made by gold zari body also has floral design and zari work is done.
  3. After all the zari work is done, it is polished with a mixture of water and gum to give saree a stiff texture. They also used methi and jaggery used in the mixture.

  1. They use various colours of bana and tana to get colours of the paithani saree. Tana bana means a mixture of two colours to give a single colour. ex- blue bana and red tana will give a shade of purple. This is how colour is given to paithani. After this, a perfect paithani is made.

State Of Temples – Tamil Nadu, kanjeevaram got its name from a village Kanchipuram. This saree owns thick fabric and dark shades of colours mixed with hints of gold. Women in India love to wear saree during festivals, weddings, occasion and celebrations then kanjeevaram is the best outfit to look classy.

BACKGROUND –

The history of kanjeevaram silk saree started from Hindu mythology. It is said that Kanchi silk weaver is descendants of sage Makanda, who was considered to be the best weaver. It is considered that two weaving communities from Andhra Pradesh, the devangas and the saligars came to Kanchipuram. As we know the city is full of temples and weaver cleverly used temples’ architecture in kanjeevaram saree to give details.

MAKING PROCESS – 

  1. Mulberry silk is used to weave Kanjeevaram saree and the gold, silver zari which is used in the edges of the saree comes from Gujarat. 
  2. Silk threads then dipped into rice water and dried under the sun to make the texture of silk thick and stiff.

  1. This silk thread is interlocked within a thin silver wire and woven 

          with the help of golden thread to complete the process.

  1. To weave this fabric a wrap frame is used which has approx of 60 holes, in which there are 240 threads in the warp and 250 to 3000 threads in the weft.
  2. Saree is popular for vibrant colour and impressive designs which borrowed from designs of temples.
  3. Usually, weaver weaves pallu and body separately and they are pretty different from each other and later than are interlocked by pinti which is a zig-zag pattern where pallu meets the body of the saree. This is how a kanjeevaram saree is made.
