SEDRAA (Society for Education Development and Research in Architecture & Art) is a body established by members, who are highly devoted and committed for the cause of promoting higher education in the field of Architecture, Art and Design. This was done with the vision of providing quality education in the field of Academics related to design at National level.

SEDRAA is successfully managing Aayojan School of Architecture, Jaipur from last 17 years. Aayojan Jaipur has made a name for itself in this comparatively brief period. Approximately 800 students have graduated from here and are currently doing their bit towards building a vibrant and progressive country. Some have made their way abroad for higher studies and some have returned to these portals to don the mantle of teaching. Currently Aayojan Jaipur has a strength of 700 students, the future designers who will leave their stamp on the country\’s skyline.

ASAP being its journey in 2005 with 18 students. After a decade of smooth passage school now stand with strength 600 young minds. ASAP is proud of the five batches of B. Arch and first batch of B. Plan successfully serving the society as professional Architects and Urban Planners. The School is recognized by Council of Architecture (CoA) and Institute of Town Planners, India (ITPI), running full time 5 years B.Arch ,4 year B. Plan and 2 years of M. Arch program course supported by well qualified and dedicated Core, Part-Time and Visiting faculty.

R V College of Architecture is situated in Bangalore in Karnataka state of India. Established in 1992, it is accredited from Council of Architecture (COA) and it is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. RVCA, Bangalore offers 2 courses across 1 streams namely Engineering and across 2 degrees like B.Arch, M.Arch.Hostel facility is available for its students. Additional campus facilities such as Auditorium, ATM, Boys Hostel, Canteen, Computer Lab, Girls Hostel, Gym, Mess, Library, Medical Facilities are also there.

BMS School of Architecture, the 8th institution under the BMS Educational Trust, has the distinction of being established as an Independent “School of Architecture” in the year 2010. BMSSA is a center of innovation and one of the nation’s few independent architecture schools with a stated mission of being dedicated to educating future generations to be ethical professionals, creative designers and informed citizens. Located in amidst a green campus in Yelahanka, Bangalore, the school is distinguished by its unique learning environment. BMSSA offers both Graduate and Post Graduate programs in Architecture. With a strength of approximately 500 students and 50 facult members, the approach adopted by the school is to encourage students to think out of the box and explore the limits of architecture.

With the objective of providing a systematic education in Art and Architecture catering to the present needs of society Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University was established by Act of Andhra Pradesh State Legislature No. 31 of 2008.

The legacy of the Chiranjiv Charitable Trust in the realm of higher education goes back to 1989, when the foundation of the Sushant School of Art and Architecture was laid by Mr. Sushil Ansal, to address the gap in Indian architectural education. The School was conceived with the objective of combining traditional Indian aesthetics and modes of urban planning with the needs of a modern cityscape.

The University School of Design (USD) was established in the year 2002 as a self-financing institution under the aegis of the University of Mysore. The nomenclature of University School of Design was changed to School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) from the year 2016 and the School started functioning from an exclusive campus in the University premises during the said year. The SPA campus is situated in a 15 -acre land with a built-up area of 84,000 sq.ft with state-of-the-art facilities. The building houses 18 studio-cum-lecture halls of international standard; library, computer lab (with all required software and Wi-Fi facilities for the entire School) 350-capacity auditorium; 1500- capacity amphitheater; individual faculty rooms; in-house stationery shop; café & canteen facilities and sports & games.

School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal is established by Government of India as an Institute of National importance in the year 2008.This school is committed to produce best Architects and Planners of the Nation to take up the challenges of physical and socio- environmental development of global standards. This will be developed as \’University of imagination\’, where a sense of enquiry will prevail amongst all stake holders- students, researchers, professors and society at large. School of Planning and Architecture will strive for social sustenance through universal design, cultural sustenance through conservation and environmental sustenance through the discipline of Architecture, Planning and Design.

Jamia Millia Islamia in the only Central university having the full fledge Faculty of architecture & Ekistics. Though the Jamia has a long History but the Architecture program was started in the Year2001-2002. In a very short span of time Jamia has created a history by establishing its ‘Faculty of Architecture & Ekistics’, which is aimed to establish a seat of excellence for the education of architecture and associated disciplines and facilitate multidisciplinary research to deal with the complexities of Human settlements as a whole.

The Faculty of Architecture started in 1978 with a BArch degree under Mysore University. The institution came under the newly established Mangalore University in 1980 as Department of Architecture.
In October 2003, Manipal Academy of Higher Education renamed the Department of Architecture as Faculty of Architecture. In 2010, it became the 22nd institute of Manipal Academy of Higher Education.

Sir JJ College of Architecture has documented the architectural facades of the Art Deco Buildings that form a stretch on the Oval Maidan. These building fronts are metonymous with Bombay’s Art Deco Architecture that flourished from the 1930s to the 1950s. Bombay, even today has the largest number of Art Deco buildings in a city outside of Miami. The Oval Maidan buildings are the most ornamented and patterned and display the flourishes of architecture made possible by the use of Reinforced Cement Concrete.

The Architecture Course was started at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee in the year 1956-57. In the year 1961, the Department was housed in its own independent building and premises. The B.Arch. course was recognized by the Indian Institute of Architects in December 1961. The Department has the singular distinction of being the first in INDIA in instituting a Masters degree course in Architecture (M. Arch.) in the year 1969-70. This was eventually raised to an independent course of Masters Degree in Urban and Rural Planning (MURP) in the year 1973-74. The Institute takes very special care in selecting students for admission to various academic programmes with the objective of providing technical education only to the best ones.

Elphinstone College occupies a unique position in the annals of education in the country. It is one of the rarest institutions, born even before the University of Mumbai, to which it was later affiliated. Recently the Elphinstone College has been accredited A grade by NAAC.

The college offers an exciting range of undergraduate and post-graduate programs amply supported by a varity of diploma programmes and certificate courses. It has 2,400 students and a 110 teaching and 80 non-teaching staff.
