Dematerialisation

Dematerialisation offers flexibility along with security and convenience. Holding share certificates in physical format carried risks like certificate forgeries, loss of important share certificates, and consequent delays in certificate transfers. Dematerialisation eliminates these hassles by allowing customers to convert their physical certificates into electronic format. Dematerialisation is a process through which physical securities such as share certificates and other documents are converted into electronic format and held in a Demat Account.

An investor intending to dematerialise its securities needs to open a Demat Account with a Depository Participant (DP). A depository is responsible for holding the securities of a shareholder in electronic form, these securities could be in the form of Share Certificates, bonds, government securities, and mutual fund units, which are held by a registered Depository Participant (DP).

As a share or debenture holder it is important to be aware of the procedures to manage the investment in securities collective name for equity shares, debenture, bonds, mutual fund units etc. Managing investment in securities is simple and easy in electronic form (dematerialised form) and it has many advantages over managing is in physical form like in past there is certificate issued in favour of shareholder if he/she buy stocks or any debenture bonds.

Section 5 of the Depositories act 1996 beneficial owner enter into an agreement with the depository for availing it’s service.

Investment in shares and debentures can be held in electronic or dematerialised can be held in electronic or dematerialised form in a depository. Depository is an entity which holds securities i.e Shares, bond’s, debentures, mutual fund units etc. of investors in electronic form at the request of the investor.

National securities depository Ltd (NSDL) and Central depository services Ltd (CDSL) are the depositories that are licensed to operate in India and are registered with SEBI.

Dematerialisation is comparable to keeping your money in a bank account. In demat form the physical share certificates are replaced by e-form buying of shares are reflected as credits in your demat account and sale are reflected as debits.

It is advisable to hold the securities in demat form as it offers many advantages like in Primary market as many public issue are taking place in demat mode. To apply in publice issue you need to have a demat account. Allotment of shares in IPO(Initial Public offer) is credited to the demat account.

In secondary market if you buy any shares thn after T+2 share credit on your demat account and you don’t have any need to visit anywhere to collect your certificate. Same in selling you can sell your shares anytime in working market. Unlike in physical shares you’ve to visit exchange office and in Ring you’ve to buy or sell your stocks. (Ring is a place where in past the buyer seller bid or ask for their shares).

DINOSAUR-‘AN EXTINCT SPECIES’

Around 200 million years ago, the most diverse group of reptiles, the Dinosaurs existed which got extinct with time. The first dinosaur was seen in Triassic Period between 233 to 243 million years ago. Their dominance continued throughout the Jurassic and  Cretaceous periods. There were two varieties of dinosaurs in past. According to paleontologists, there are almost 500 varieties of avian dinosaurs and 1000 varieties of non-avian dinosaurs.  Dinosaurs are represented on every continent by both extinct species and fossil remains. Through the first half of the 20th century, before birds were recognized to be dinosaurs, most of the scientific community believed dinosaurs to have been sluggish and cold blooded. As the first dinosaur was seen in 19th century, the fossils of dinosaurs attract the tourist and are kept in many museums around the world. In almost every country, dinosaurs were found in earlier 19th century. The large sizes of some dinosaur groups, as well as their seemingly monstrous and fantastic nature. Amongst bestsellers such as Jurassic Park dinosaurs are mentioned. Paleontologists make continuous new discovers regularly about dinosaurs.

20 million years ago, Dinosaurs diverged from their archosaur ancestors during the Middle to Late Triassic epochs. According to Paleontologists Eoraptor are known to be the ancestors of dinosaurs. When dinosaurs appeared, they were not the dominant terrestrial animals. The terrestrial habitats were occupied by various types of archosauromorphs and therapisds, like cynodonts and rhynchosaurs. Their main competitors were the pseudosuchia, such as aetosaurs, ornithosuchids and rauisuchians, which were more successful than the dinosaurs.Dinosaur evolution after the Triassic follows changes in vegetation and the location of continents. In the Late Triassic and Early Jurassic, the continents were connected as the single landmass Pangaea, and there was a worldwide dinosaur fauna mostly composed of coelophysoid carnivores and early sauropodomorph herbivores.

Dinosaurs belong to a group known as archosaurs, which also includes modern crocodilians. Within the archosaur group, dinosaurs are differentiated most noticeably by their gait. Dinosaur legs extend directly beneath the body, whereas the legs of lizards and crocodilians sprawl out to either side.Collectively, dinosaurs as a clade are divided into two primary branches, Saurischia and Ornithischia. Saurischia includes those taxa sharing a more recent common ancestor with birds than with Ornithischia, while Ornithischia includes all taxa sharing a more recent common ancestor with Triceratops than with Saurischia. Anatomically, these two groups can be distinguished most noticeably by their pelvic structure.

SKELETON OF DINOSAUR

Scientists will probably never be certain of the largest and smallest dinosaurs to have ever existed. This is because only a tiny percentage of animals were ever fossilized and most of these remain buried in the earth. Few of the specimens that are recovered are complete skeletons, and impressions of skin and other soft tissues are rare. Rebuilding a complete skeleton by comparing the size and morphology of bones to those of similar, better-known species is an inexact art, and reconstructing the muscles and other organs of the living animal is, at best, a process of educated guesswork.

The behavior of dinosaurs are common among the birds and some are common with crocodiles. The first potential evidence for herding or flocking as a widespread behavior common to many dinosaur groups in addition to birds was the 1878 discovery of 31 lguanodon bernissartenis, ornithischians that were then thought to have perished together in Bernissart, Belgium after they fell into a deep, flooded sinkhole and drowned. The type of collagen an animal has in its bones varies according to its DNA and, in both cases, this collagen was of the same type found in modern chickens and ostriches.

In 2015, researchers reported finding structures similar to blood cells and collagen fibers, preserved in the bone fossils of six Cretaceous dinosaur specimens, which are approximately 75 million years old. Dinosaurs are the extinct species which has many mysteries found by scientist.

THE BLACK HOLE

The mysterious Black hole is a place in space where gravity pulls so much that even light can not get out. The gravity is so strong because matter has been squeezed into a tiny space. This can happen when a star is dying. The boundary from where no escape is possible is called event horizon. The black holes can be either small or big in the space and are visible by space telescopes with special tools. Thy are advanced telescopes with advance technology by which scientists see black holes. The temperature near the black holes are near the billion Kelvins making it approximately impossible to see. The gravitational field were first observed in 18th century by John Michell and Pierre Smon Laplace.

Black Hole

Scientists believe that a black hole could be as small as an atom and their mass is large as a mountain. There is no specific size for an black hole. One kind of black hole is “Stellar”. It’s mass can be 20 times more mass than mass of sun. Almost their mass is more than 1 million suns together. Milky way galaxy also known as Earth’s galaxy has a center known as Sagittarius. It has a mass equal to about 4 million suns and would fit inside a very large ball that could hold a few million Earths. According to researchers and scientists, the life begun from black holes.Stellar black holes are made when the center of a very big star falls in upon itself, or collapses. When this happens, it causes a supernova. A supernova is an exploding star that blasts part of the star into space.Scientists think supermassive black holes were made at the same time as the galaxy they are in.

These black holes are often referred to as Schwarzchild black holes after Karl Schwarzschild who discovered this solution in 1916. According to Birkhoff’s therorem,it is the only vacuum solution that is spherically symmetric. This means there is no observable difference at a distance between the gravitational field of such a black hole and that of any other spherical object of the same mass. In the black horizon, the notion of slurping everything near the black hole is correct near the external gravitational field is identical to that of any other body of the same mass.

Black holes do not go around in space eating stars, moons and planets. Earth will not fall into a black hole because no black hole is close enough to the solar system for Earth to do that.Even if a black hole the same mass as the sun were to take the place of the sun, Earth still would not fall in. The black hole would have the same gravity as the sun. Earth and the other planets would orbit the black hole as they orbit the sun now.The sun will never turn into a black hole. The sun is not a big enough star to make a black hole.

“We’re starting to gather real statistics on binary black hole systems,” said LIGO scientist Keita Kawabe of Caltech, who is based at the LIGO Hanford Observatory. “That’s interesting because some models of black hole binary formation are somewhat favored over the others even now, and in the future, we can further narrow this down.” The black holes are the one of the most mysterious things of the world. Scientist over time reveals new things about the hole. Black holes always remain terrific fodder for science fiction books and movies.

Friend is a friend

Why can’t I spend the time with friends who are with me? Why am I speaking to some other friends who are far apart and spending time? Today I observed that one of my friend felt sad and shared his sadness to some other friend who is also a friend of mine. That mutual friend said it would be better to spend time with the person who is beside us rather than speaking to someone else and talking about past.

Enjoy the present with the people who are present before us. Why can’t I see what’s infront of me and try to figure out a way to spend some time here. I don’t know why I like to spend the time there in the past but not in the present. I think of spending some time but it just stops at thinking. I should speak to the people who are with me whether I like them or not. I should atleast pay attention if not so give some importance for a period of time. May be everyone forget their surroundings when they speak on phone. It’s not the problem with me, it’s everyone’s. Atleast try to give a reply if not respond.

Speaking for speaking isn’t replying, it’s just nodding. Have time for everyone. Know where to spend the time and with whom. Living in the moment doesn’t mean staying alive. It’s the choice you make yourself to spend effective time with the person. Postpone your things and live with the person who is living beside you. Have a clear thought on your life and live there. Living in the past can also be done in future but living in present can be done only in present. Present is a present to your life.

I am thinking not to speak in phone while I am with my friends. He can also do the same but he didn’t and he tries to spend the time with the people around hin ine way or the other. Speaking with old friend might make you happy but leaving behind your friend and speaking to him makes the guy with you sad. You should have a balance between the friends and know when to spend with whom . The priority isn’t the person, it’s time. The person with you shouldn’t feel alone when he is with you. Atleast he might feel uninterested but feeling lonely isn’t acceptable.

Lead a life where you should give a lead to others on how to lead a leading life. Have a thought, give a pause and make a decision with your brain because heart will definitely choose your closest friend and makes you to speak with him. Brain makes you think in a logical way and makes a calculative decision. Decide before you do because after that your decision won’t reflect your doings. I am hoping to change myself and treat everyone in same manner when they are with me. If you have a friend beside you and trying to spend some time with you, then be patient if he’s uninterested, be calm if he’s too talkitive. Spend some time with your peers.

India- China Border Dispute

As we know recently there is a dispute between India and China and if the sources are true, it can form a situation of war between two countries. This dispute is along the disputed Himalayan border running along the Ladakh area of Kashmir. The clashes are because of Galwan Valley. The Galwan River flows from the disputed Aksai Chin region to Ladakh of India. It originates in the area of Samzungling on the eastern side of the Karakoram range and flows west to join the Shyok River.

It is the most malignant clash after 1967 and 1975. 20 soldiers of India died in the war at the border on Wednesday.  The fight broke out on Monday between the to nations evening when an Indian patrol came across Chinese forces on a narrow ridge. During the confrontation an Indian commanding officer was pushed and fell into the river gorge, sources told the guardian. Hundreds of troops from both sides were called in and fought with each other. Several fell to their deaths from both sides.

Both the countries are fighting against each other from decades over a territory of Galwan Valley. The issue heated up as in recent months over a new road India built in Ladakh, along the Line of Actual Control which divides the sides. India and China have fought only war in 1962, where India suffered a humiliating defeat. The war almost continue till one month between 20 October,1962 to 21 November 1962.

With a three-week ceasefire, the war lasted till November 21, when China unilaterally withdrew from Indian territories before the snow could block safe passage to its forces. The war lasted one month but resulted in more than 1,000 Indian deaths and over 3,000 Indians taken as prisoners. The Chinese military suffered fewer than 800 deaths. Around 3,250 Indian soldiers were killed. India lost about 43,000 square kilometres of land, captured by China in Aksai Chin. India has accused China of sending thousands of troops into Ladakh’s Galwan valley and says China occupies 38,000sq km (14,700sq miles) of its territory. Several times countries have tried to discuss and sort the dispute. In 1962, China drew a unilateral line between India and China. Later, In 1967 India pushed China back into their territory without removing LAC. The LAC is a rough demarcation line separating Indian-controlled territory from Chinese-controlled territory. The exact location of sections of the line, particularly in the western Ladakh region, have remained in dispute.

The conflict has enormous geopolitical consequences for the world. China and India are the two most populous nations on earth, and both are nuclear powers. They are led by governments run strongly along nationalist lines, and whose militaries are seen as markers of national status and pride. As per the new reports, China loss their 43 soldiers in the war. Some are dead and some with serious injuries. It is a critical situation between the two countries and as far as we can see is the situation of war. The fighting was the last time that troops on either side would be killed — until the skirmishes in the Galwan Valley on Tuesday. Indian news outlets reported that Chinese soldiers had also been killed, but Beijing didn’t responded to any of the fact.

The Great Wall Of China

One of the seven wonders of the world is Great Wall Of China. The ancient wall is made up of cement, rocks, bricks, and powdered dirt. The main motto for making this wall was was to protect the north of the empire of china from enemies attack. This longest human structure was completed in 1878. It is about 21,196 kilometres (13,171 miles) long, 9.1 metres (30 feet) wide and 15 metres (50 feet) high. Earlier the wall was made by dirt but later it was changed with bricks. The great wall consists of 19 walls in total. The wall was built under the command of Qin Shai Hong, the emperor of imperial China in 226 to 200 BC.

Qin Shai Hong made his own dynasty known as Qin dynasty. Xiongnu tributes were his enemies so he ordered to build the walls so that it would get difficult for them to cross the wall and enter their dynasty. Soon other dynasties constructed the wall longer. Initially, under Qin Shai Hong built the wall with dust and dirt. Later, Ming Dynasty they replaced dust and dirt with cement and bricks. Builders used materials that were nearby. Some parts of the wall were made of mud, straw, and twigs. Thousands of workers died from giant falling stones, exhaustion, disease, animal attacks, and starvation. The workers who died during the construction of this huge wall were buried under the wall is a myth. Known as the “Square Wall,” this fortification was situated in the northern part of the kingdom’s capital province. After administrative reorganization was carried out by Shang Yang (died 338 BCE), the Qin state grew politically and militarily to become the strongest among the seven states, but it was frequently raided by the Donghu and Loufan, two nomadic peoples from the north. Therefore, the Qin erected a wall that started from Lintiao, went north along the Liupan Mountains, and ended at the Huang He (Yellow River).

It is located at Asia- Pacific region of China. Barracks, stables, and armories were built near the wall’s inner surface. Now it is the most attracting places of the world. Every year a lot of tourist visit the great wall.In 2014 a portion of the wall near the border of Liaoning and Hebei province was repaired with concrete. The work has been much criticized. Earlier it was reported that Gret Wall can be seen from space. But later when Neil Armstrong told that he was not capable to see the wall from moon. But, Gene Cernan told he was able to see the great wall from the lower orbit.

In October 2003, Chinese astronaut Yang Liwei stated that he had not been able to see the Great Wall of China. In response, the European Space Agency (ESA) issued a press release reporting that from an orbit between 160 and 320 km (100 and 200 mi), the Great Wall is visible to the naked eye. Today, the defensive system of the Great Wall is generally recognized as one of the most impressive architectural feats in history. The great wall of China is one of the wonder of the world. Its fascinating walls, length and the historic material used for preparing the walls and the longest walls of the world.

Niagara Falls – The City and the Waterfall

One of the most beautiful and wonderful waterfall is Niagara Waterfalls. It is situated in Ontario, a city in Canada. The city is also named after Niagara and the same is the name with the waterfalls linked with the US by the Rainbow bridge also known as Niagara Waterfalls. The total area equipped by the waterfalls is 209.7 km square. The gross population of Niagara is 88,071 in 2016. This natural spectacle attracts million of tourists every year to this beautiful place. The tourist area apart from the river has several attraction areas including towers, museums, indoor water, Parks, Casinos, theaters and many other places.

Approximately 12,000 years ago, the Niagara Falls started forming at the end of ice age  when large torrents of water were released from the melting ice, draining into the Niagara River. Niagara Falls has had a Black population since at least 1783. Eventually, the force of the water wore away the rock layers and Niagara Falls moved upstream, reaching its present location. Year after year, the formation continues with the annual freezing and thawing of the Niagara River, along with gradual erosion and periodic rock-falls. Hydroelectric power is used at the Niagara falls to protect the heavy volume of water. Tourism started in the early 19th century and has been a vital part of the local economy since that time. The falls became known as a natural wonder, in part to their being featured in paintings by prominent American artists of the 19th century such as Albert Bierstadt.  Such works were reproduced as lithographs, becoming widely distributed. In addition, Niagara Falls markets itself are recognized as honeymoon destinations. It’s beauty attracts everyone’s eye and the city itself is a happy place.

Niagara Falls City, Ontario

The Niagara Falls is long with the area of 130 km measured by roads from Toronto capital Ontario. The area of the Niagara Region is approximately 1,800 km2 (690 sq mi). This beautiful city is build alongside the great Niagara falls and the river Niagara Gorge which flows from Lake Erie to Lake Ontario. It city is in humid climate condition, during winters it enjoys all the cold vibes.Niagara Falls is older than Canada in general in terms of age structure. Industry began moving out of the city in the 1970s and 80s because of economic recession and increasing global competition in the manufacturing sector. Tourism increasingly became the city’s most important revenue source. Generally speaking, Niagara Falls, Ontario is a more popular destination than Niagara Falls, New York, in part due to the better view of the falls from the Canadian side of the river.

The area has several historic libraries and historical museums. Some cultural areas of Niagara Falls include Queen Street, Main and Ferry Streets, Stamford Centre and Chippawa Square. The area is surrounded by more than fifty clubs and restaurant in the area. Niagara Falls is connected to major Highways of Canada. The Niagara Parkway  is a road operated under the Niagara Parks Commission which connects Niagara-on-the-Lake to Fort Erie via Niagara Falls. The city has many educational institutions for students with various schools, colleges and universities which teaches the earlier culture to the children. It is a must visit place, the visit to Niagara falls will show the other side of beauty of the nature.

TAJ MAHAL- ‘SYMBOL OF LOVE’

Taj Mahal is the symbol of purest love built by Shah Jahan in the memory of his late wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble tomb on southern bank of river Yamuna in the city Agara in Uttar Pradesh, India. Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan commissioned to build the Mahal in 1632. It is a big tomb of 17 hectare or 42 acres which has a guest house, mosque and gardens surrounded around the complex. It took almost eleven years to complete the construction of the Taj Mahal. Even after the construction it took ten more years to improvise it and to design it.

The beauty of this wonderful architecture attracts the eye of many tourists. Taj Mahal is also one of the wonders of the world.Even in 2007, it was the winner of the seven wonders of the world. Approximately seven to eight million tourists visit Taj Mahal every year to see its glory. Shah Jahan commissioned to build Taj Mahal in the memory of his loving wife Mumtaz Mahal who died giving birth to her fourteenth child. Taj Mahal has combined designs of Mughal architecture and Persian culture. The tomb is the central focus of the entire complex of the Taj Mahal. It is a large, white marble structure standing on a square plinth and consists of a symmetrical building with an iwan (an arch-shaped doorway) topped by a large dome and finial. Like most Mughal tombs, the basic elements are Persian in origin. The base structure is a large multi-chambered cube with chamfered corners forming an unequal eight-sided structure that is approximately 55 metres (180 ft) on each of the four long sides. Each side of the iwan is framed with a huge pishtaq or vaulted archway with two similarly shaped arched balconies stacked on either side. This motif of stacked pishtaqs is replicated on the chamfered corner areas, making the design completely symmetrical on all sides of the building. Four minarets frame the tomb, one at each corner of the plinth facing the chamfered corners. The main chamber houses the false sarcophagi of Mumtaz Mahal and Shah Jahan; the actual graves are at a lower level.

Ever since its construction, the building has been the source of an admiration transcending culture and geography, and so personal and emotional responses have consistently eclipsed scholastic appraisals of the monument. A longstanding myth holds that Shah Jahan planned a tomb to be built in black marble as a Black Taj Mahal across the Yamuna river. The idea originates from fanciful writings of Jean Baptiste Tavernier, a European traveller who visited Agra in 1665. It was suggested that his son Aurangzeb overthrew Shah Jahan before it could be built. Ruins of blackened marble across the river in Moonlight Garden, Mahtab Bagh, seemed to support this legend. However, excavations carried out in the 1990s found that they were discoloured white stones that had turned black.

The Taj Mahal was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983 for being “the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world’s heritage”. It is regarded by many as the best example of Mughal architecture  and a symbol of India’s rich history.

‘POLLUTION’ if u don’t kill it, it will kill you

Pollution Control Systems and Devices Used to Control Air Pollution

Pollution is the act of making something physically impure and unclean. Air pollution can be defined as the presence of toxic chemicals or compounds in the air. Some of the toxic chemicals in air that cause pollution are carbon monoxide, ozone, lead, sulphur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, particulate matter and phosgene. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a devastating impact on both lives and livelihoods in India. While there’s not much cause for cheer in what’s being observed all around, a recent briefing released by the Global Strategic Climate Communication (GSCC) — global network of communications professionals in the field of climate and energy — points to a possible silver lining: a drastic reduction in air pollution.

‘Good-air days’ for many Indian cities

The briefing paper says that over 90 Indian cities showed minimal air pollution since the lockdown. Thirty five cities ranked “good” on the fourth day of the lockdown. These levels have been seen for the first time since the AQI was launched in 2014. Delhi, for instance, recorded its best-ever AQI score of 45 on March 26th. Other major cities also recorded significant drops in the level of major air pollutants.

Percentage drop in PM2.5 and NOx levels. Second Week of March – April 6.

A perusal of the National Air Quality database by CPCB suggests the same pattern in most cities.

Chennai’s monitoring stations are an exception. Analysis of air quality data from Chennai by Atmos shows little variation in air pollution before and after the lockdown. In fact, the data shows a spike in PM10 levels during the week of the lockdown.

Data from the only monitoring station in Chennai measuring PM10 levels indicates a spike after lockdown

This trend, however, does not indicate that Chennai’s pollution levels have somehow increased during the lockdown. Rather, it reveals the pitfalls of relying on insufficient data. The Atmos report explains that there is only one station which can monitor PM10 levels in the city.

The GSCC paper says that Chennai’s monitoring stations are recording only background levels of pollution, which exist even without the lockdown, making it hard to measure the impact of the lockdown on air pollution in the city.

Air pollution places Indians at high risk for COVID-19

The paper points out that people living with higher levels of air pollution could be at higher risk from COVID-19, since coronavirus disease is a respiratory disease. Exposure to air pollution puts people suffering from respiratory problems at higher risk for complications and death.

Air pollution caused more deaths in India in a year than COVID-19 has in the world till now. In 2017, air pollution caused an estimated 1.2 million deaths in India and is considered the third-biggest cause of death in the country. India is also home to 14 of the 15 most polluted cities in the world according to WHO.

Air pollution also exposes Indians to another high-risk factor – Type 2 diabetes. Citing a Health Effects Institute (HEI) study, the report says that “type-2 diabetes can be directly attributed to air pollution.” India is home to the second-highest number of diabetes patients in the world, behind China. The paper points out that diabetes is one of the most distinguished co-morbidities amongst COVID-19 related deaths.

The paper also highlights recent studies, which are establishing relationships between health, air pollution and COVID-19.

A study by researchers in Italy claims that the virus affected North Italy more severely because of air pollution. The hypothesis is that the virus can travel on particulate matter, which if true would make Indian cities highly vulnerable.

Another study by Harvard’s TH Chan School of Public Health makes a more alarming claim. It says that an increase of only 1 ug/m3 in PM2.5 levels is associated with a 15% increase in the COVID death rate. It claims that people living in areas of higher pollution levels are far more likely to die from COVID-19.

Air pollution exacerbates the risks associated with COVID-19 to a deadly combination of co-morbidities. While these new studies are yet to be peer-reviewed, the links between air pollution, respiratory illnesses and diabetes are well-documented. Considering the high levels of particulate matter that Indians are exposed to, the recent reduction of air pollution is a more than welcome sign.

The lockdown brought many anthropogenic (human-made) contributors to a halt. This makes it possible to study their impact on air pollution.

For instance, industrial clusters in Gujarat, infamous for being one of the most critically polluted regions in the country, also reported a significant reduction in air pollution. Vapi is ranked as the most polluted industrial area among these. Since the lock down, Vapi recorded a 79.7% drop in Sulphur Dioxide (SO2) levels according to the GSCC report. It also had one of its best days ever on March 29 with an AQI of just 80, compared to 313 just a couple of weeks before on March 18th. Daman Ganga river polluted in Vapi, Gujarat.

While industrial activity makes the crucial difference in places like Vapi, it is vehicular transportation for cities like Delhi and Mumbai. In just two weeks of lockdown, the Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) levels fell by 50% in Delhi and 60% in Mumbai according to the GSCC report.

Vehicles are a major source of pollution. A 2018 study by TERI found that vehicular transportation was responsible for 81% of Delhi’s NOx levels, while also being significant contributors to PM2.5 and PM10 particles.

The GSCC briefing identifies three major anthropogenic causes for the reduction in air pollution during the lockdown. “It is due to a steep decline in traffic volumes, construction, and industrial activities,” it says.

“It is clear that air quality can improve in a matter of weeks”

An analysis of the reduction in air pollution during the lock down reasserts a lot of what has already been well-documented – the correlation between health and air pollution, the main causes of air pollution and India’s vulnerability to them. But it also represents a possibility for what things may look like in the near future.

The report says that “it is clear that the air quality can improve in a matter of weeks. It has been demonstrated inadvertently with the lock down that by enforcing more informed and stricter rules and regulations, city administrations can achieve the goals set out in the National Clean Air Programme (NCAP).”

With more than 70% of infrastructure in the country yet to be built up till 2030, it stresses the urgent need to move towards cleaner energy and construction policies. One of its key recommendations is a move to electric and zero-emission vehicles.

Unfortunately, the new generation find it cool to buy dogs. We treat the dumb animals like property which we can buy and do whatever we want. We forget that they too have the right to live. They aren’t our property whom we just keep to show off or look cool in front of our friends, relatives or societies. Some buy pets just to proof people they are so humble and down to earth to buy and accept animals. These animals could be categorized as any of animal, either birds, cats, dogs, buffaloes or horses. They pretend to love them in front of society but at home they treat them bad. Serving bad food to the animals, serving stale food over past two days, the residue which is left after they finish the food. Not giving the proper diet to the animals which they require either it be tortilla for dogs or fodder for cows or horses. Regularly visit the doctors is never an initiative by humans who just buy pets but never adopts them.
Instead of buying a pet just to look and pretend cool, adopt a one of your society, city, locality. Love the animals with all of your heart and they will revert it back in love and affection. Dogs are the most loyal creatures even more than humans. The most faithful ones, even cats are friendly and loving. Keeping a regular schedule is one of the most important things you can do for your pet and for yourself. Your pet will know when they need to go out, take a nap, play or get ready for bed. This will help their temperament and will help you create a great relationship with your pet.

They also have the right to be treated well as human does. Treat your street animals as your own pet, adopt them as your pet not to pretend the world that you are down to earth but instead mean it and adopt, love them accordingly. Be there for them when they are not feeling well, take them to doctors for a visit, feed them regularly, provide them a shelter to live and love them. Play with them whenever you want, this will help them exercise and stay healthy. May it be any animal, just let them know that you love them and adore them, it will groom your relationship with your pets.

Abstract: When martial law is in effect, the military commander of an area or country has unlimited authority to make and enforce laws. Rabindranath Tagore abandoned the award which he received in 1915. Soon after this martial law, the people bean with Satyagrah led by Mahatma Gandhi and non cooperation movement. The government of India ordered an investigation of the incident (the Hunter Commission), which in 1920 censured Dyer for his actions and ordered him to resign from the military.

Getting irritated when you cannot play the game, often showing depressive signs is the first and very visible signal of an addiction. Sitting still in a same position for a long time and also thinking about the game when you are far away from screen is an dangerous sign either the game playing at back off your mind or while you sleep it may attack you in your dreams. To able to concentrate with the studies and wastin time on the game and money is a bad sign.
