Difference between Public and Private Transport

It is said that the car runs smoothly but consumes a lot of energy for each passenger, and public transport is an environmentally friendly method but requires high investment and management costs. However, this view does not place urban structure as a population size and quantity. For example, overcrowding can cause explosions and disrupt traffic. This could eliminate the need for public transport. On the other hand, in the suburbs of an urban area, public transport attracts only the minimum requirements for passengers and calculates the maximum capacity per passenger than private cars. The shape of cities is therefore a key factor in determining the performance of urban vehicles.
An urban structure is involved in the provision of transport infrastructure and its level of provision. For older urban economic models, the location of the agents and the urban environment vary depending on the conditions of travel. Therefore, the formation of cities and the functioning of travel depend on others. Although the size of the population and the size of the individual are the same, the operation of public and private transport may vary due to the city structure due to their historical land use and transport development.
In this paper, we present the interaction between urban building and transportation using a simple urban transport model. We also assess the potential for support, which measures economic efficiency and the environmental, private and public impact of a sensible urban environment. In this regard, the main focus is on the reliability of the urban tourism cooperation system, and has shown the potential for many urban and travel conditions. There are several policy implications for using model results.

The downside to public transportation means that cars and motorcycles, at times, can easily change and provide an easy way to travel in the eyes of a traveler or traveler. However, green guarantees are much less attractive to anyone who wants to reduce their carbon footprint. And in all, there is a real alternative to public transportation. The biggest challenge is to change our minds.

Public Transport
It is a mode of transport in which a number of passengers share in the standard travel. Includes local buses e.g. Lahore Metro buses and trains. These trails have specific routes and times and connect major cities. They are usually run by a State Government. Its advantage is that everyone who travels by it is charged a fair and reasonable fee. But on the other hand, these buses and trains are full of passengers and there is a mixed environment inside the car making it difficult to navigate. In addition, the timing of these destinations is not limited to developing countries so people have to wait a long time to get on the bus / train.
Private Transport
It is a mode of travel where people use their own car to travel e.g. cycle, cycle of vehicles and vehicles. It has the advantage over public transport that it saves time, is free to travel and allows for a wide range of vehicle use depending on the user’s system. But it also increases environmental pollution. It is expensive as there is a shortage of fuel in many countries but its high consumption over the past few years has proven that people can afford private cars now. Car maintenance is also a challenge.

Electoral Reforms In India

Electoral reforms refer to the introduction of the best practices in ensuring better democracy, clean politics, fair elections, ideal members of legislative houses, true representation and so on.

India is the largest democracy in the world. Elections are the most integral and important part of politics in a democratic system of governance. True democracy can function only when elections to the offices of power are held in a free and fair manner.

The requirement of Electoral Reforms:

The need for electoral reforms has also been felt mainly due to removing the malicious people and malevolent activities they are involved in. There are multiple issues plaguing the electoral process in India.

Vote-buying: The rise of illegitimate expenditure on vote-buying has become a matter of great concern as it is making only the rich to be more qualified to become an MP (Member of Parliament) or an MLA (Member of the Legislative Assembly) over a well-qualified public-spirited person.

  • As can be seen, out of 533 candidates elected to the 17th Lok Sabha (2019-present), 475 Parliamentarians (accounting for 88%) are ‘crorepatis’. This reflects the paradoxical situation of poor India with rich Parliamentarians raising concerns about the growing role of money power in politics.

Criminalisation of Politics and Politicization of Criminals

Criminals enter into politics and ensure that money and muscle power wins them elections, so that the cases against them are not proceeded with. Political parties are also happy as long as they have winnable candidates. Political parties field criminals in elections for funds and in return provide them with political patronage and protection.

Misuse of Government Machinery

There is a general opinion that the party in power uses government machinery such as using government vehicles for canvassing, advertisements at the cost of the exchequer, disbursements out of the discretionary funds at the disposal of the ministers, and other such means to improve the chances of their candidates winning.

Non-serious Independent candidates

Serious candidates float non-serious candidates in elections to cut a good portion of the votes that would otherwise have gone to rival candidates.

Casteism

There are cases of certain caste groups lending strong support to particular political parties. Thus, political parties make offers to win over different caste groups, and caste groups also try to pressurize parties to offer tickets for their members’ elections. Voting on caste lines is prevalent in the country and this is a serious blotch on democracy and equality. This also creates rifts in the country.

Communalism

Communal polarization poses a serious threat to the Indian political ethos of pluralism, parliamentarianism, secularism and federalism.

Money Power

In every constituency, candidates have to spend crores of rupees for campaigning, publicity, etc. Most candidates far exceed the permissible limit of expenses.

Muscle Power

In certain parts of the country, there are widespread reports of illegal and untoward incidents during polling such as the use of violence, intimidation, booth capturing, etc.

Constitutional articles related to electoral reforms:

  1. Article 324-329 deals with elections and electoral reforms.
  2. Article 324 deals with the Superintendence, direction, and control of elections to be vested in an Election Commission.
  3. Article 325 states that no person to be ineligible for inclusion in or to claim to be included in a special, electoral roll on grounds of religion, race, caste or sex.
  1. Article 326 deals with the Elections to the House of the People and to the Legislative Assemblies of States to be on the basis of adult suffrage.
  2. Article 327 provides power to the Parliament to make provision with respect to elections to Legislatures.
  1. Article 328 provides power to Legislature of a State to make provision with respect to elections to such Legislature.
  2. Article 329 provides to create a bar on the court to make any interference by courts relating to electoral matters.

What is Inequality?

Every year, before the Annual World Economic Forum at Davos, Oxfam International releases its annual inequality report. Each report looks to capture a different dimension of inequality (lik but fundamentally revolves around the various forms of inequality that have now become ubiquitous. It is in light of this that we first look at what inequality means and what its impacts are on our day to day life.

What is inequality?
The Cambridge dictio as “the unfair situation in society when some people have more opportunities, etc. than other people”. The it even more simply as “the state of not being equal, especially in status, rights and opportunities”.
While the term itself is quite vast and has various interpretations, for the purpose of simplicity, the two large umbrellas under which we can classify inequality would be economic inequality and social inequality. Both these categories are deeply intertwined and inequality in one often affects the inequality in another. Over the years, through its course of study, has studied inequality as a grave social injustice and has documented the incidents and scale of this inequality at a global level.

Economic Inequality
Perhaps the most quantified and calculated form of inequality is the economic variant. Even here, the most predominant forms of inequality measured are those of income inequality and wealth inequality. Income inequality is the inequality in and disparity in the incomes commanded by the top percentile of the population in comparison to the bottom percentiles, while wealth inequality measures look to do the same but by calculating disparities in wealth instead of income.

Income
“Income is not just the money received through pay, but all the money received from employment (wages, salaries, bonuses etc.), investments, such as interest on savings accounts and dividends from shares of stock, savings, state benefits, pensions (state, personal, company) and rent.”

Wealth
“Wealth refers to the total amount of assets of an individual or household. This may include financial assets, such as bonds and stocks, property and private pension rights. Wealth inequality, therefore, refers to the unequal distribution of assets in a group of people”

How can we deal with increasing Cyber Crimes ?

What is cyber crime ?

Cyber Crime in India is defined under IT Act. Living in a technology driven environment makes people susceptible to crimes that take place in the cyberspace which is known as cyber crimes. There are various ways to tackle cyber crimes in India and you can start with setting strong passwords, keeping social networking sites in private mode, and by not sharing every personal information online.

Cyber Crime in India has been rapidly evolving since the dawn of the technological era. Every day, in fact, you get to hear different tricks, scams and many other offences being committed on the cyberspace. There are many types of cyber crime in India that have already been listed under the Information Technology Act,2000, suggesting various types of crimes. Also in order to follow the guidelines of cyber crime act in India, in major cities, many cyber crime cells in India have been set up.

With the advancement of technology, recent cases of cyber crime in India has also increased. Today, many crimes like kidnapping, fraud, hacking, data theft are being committed with the help of internet. Criminals who perform such activities are often referred to as “hackers”. Many of the cyber crime cases in India are registered under the IT Act.

Digitalization is unbridled these days and the Internet has made life easier for everybody, with everything just a click away. From white collar crimes to attacks by terrorist organizations, the number of cyber crimes in India has also increased. It has made man dependent on the technology for every little basic need. Today each need is covered online like online shopping, ordering food, online gaming, making payments and etc.

Cyber crime is any crime that takes place online or primarily online. Cybercriminals often commit crimes by targeting computer networks or devices. Cybercrime can range from security breaches to identity theft.

Other cybercrimes include things like cyber-stalking, harassment, bullying, and child sexual exploitation.

Terrorists collaborate on the internet, moving terrorist activities and crimes into cyberspace.

How to protect yourself against cybercrime –

Anyone using the internet should exercise some basic precautions. Here are 11 tips you can use to help protect yourself against the range of cybercrimes out there.

1. Use a full-service internet security suite

For instance, Norton Security provides real-time protection against existing and emerging malware including ransomware and viruses, and helps protect your private and financial information when you go online.

2. Use strong passwords

Don’t repeat your passwords on different sites, and change your passwords regularly. Make them complex. That means using a combination of at least 10 letters, numbers, and symbols. A password management application can help you to keep your passwords locked down.

3. Keep your software updated

This is especially important with your operating systems and internet security software. Cybercriminals frequently use known exploits, or flaws, in your software to gain access to your system. Patching those exploits and flaws can make it less likely that you’ll become a cybercrime target.

4. Manage your social media settings

Keep your personal and private information locked down. Social engineering cybercriminals can often get your personal information with just a few data points, so the less you share publicly, the better. For instance, if you post your pet’s name or reveal your mother’s maiden name, you might expose the answers to two common security questions.

5. Strengthen your home network

It’s a good idea to start with a strong encryption password as well as a virtual private network. A VPN will encrypt all traffic leaving your devices until it arrives at its destination. If cybercriminals do manage to hack your communication line, they won’t intercept anything but encrypted data. It’s a good idea to use a VPN whenever you a public Wi-Fi network, whether it’s in a library, café, hotel, or airport.

6. Talk to your children about the internet

You can teach your kids about acceptable use of the internet without shutting down communication channels. Make sure they know that they can come to you if they’re experiencing any kind of online harassment, stalking, or bullying.

7. Keep up to date on major security breaches

If you do business with a merchant or have an account on a website that’s been impacted by a security breach, find out what information the hackers accessed and change your password immediately.

8. Take measures to help protect yourself against identity theft

Identity theft occurs when someone wrongfully obtains your personal data in a way that involves fraud or deception, typically for economic gain. How? You might be tricked into giving personal information over the internet, for instance, or a thief might steal your mail to access account information. That’s why it’s important to guard your personal data. A VPN — short for virtual private network — can also help to protect the data you send and receive online, especially when accessing the internet on public Wi-Fi.

9. Know that identity theft can happen anywhere

It’s smart to know how to protect your identity even when traveling. There are a lot of things you can do to help keep criminals from getting your private information on the road. These include keeping your travel plans off social media and being using a VPN when accessing the internet over your hotel’s Wi-Fi network.

10. Keep an eye on the kids

Just like you’ll want to talk to your kids about the internet, you’ll also want to help protect them against identity theft. Identity thieves often target children because their Social Security number and credit histories frequently represent a clean slate. You can help guard against identity theft by being careful when sharing your child’s personal information. It’s also smart to know what to look for that might suggest your child’s identity has been compromised.

11. Know what to do if you become a victim

If you believe that you’ve become a victim of a cybercrime, you need to alert the local police and, in some cases, the FBI and the Federal Trade Commission. This is important even if the crime seems minor. Your report may assist authorities in their investigations or may help to thwart criminals from taking advantage of other people in the future. If you think cybercriminals have stolen your identity. These are among the steps you should consider.

  • Contact the companies and banks where you know fraud occurred.
  • Place fraud alerts and get your credit reports.
  • Report identity theft to the FTC.

Causes:-

  • Common people do not have much awareness on methods of cyber crimes. This is biggest advantage for criminals.
  • Nonexistence of any strict laws and loopholes of the existing laws encouraging cyber crimes.
  • Cyber crimes happen because there will be high rate of return on investment and the risk of loss is low.

Financial gain was the biggest motive for cyber crimes. The facility of being anonymous is giving opportunity to cyber criminals.Cyber criminals don’t have fear of rival gangs.Lack of digital infrastructure and network to tackle the menace.According to Akamai Technologies, India is among the top targets for web application attacks.

Effects:-

  • Leakage of important information of vital systems such as nuclear plants, railways andhospitals that can lead to dire consequences.
  • Financial frauds and fake online lottery and job scams damage the economic condition.
  • Stalking, cyber bullying and harassment through online increased drastically.
  • Cyber crime may cause damage to the social and communal harmony by spreading provocative media files and messages without the fear of being caught thus encouraging youth to get involved in such activities.
  • It may cause big losses to the business industry by creating fake companies, transactions and deals in sales etc.

What India is doing:-

  • Indian Government is spreading awareness though advertisements in televisions about fraud phone calls and cyber crimes.
  • India has ‘Information Technology Act, 2000’ in law.
  • India has ‘Cyber Crime police stations‘, which deal with cyber crimes exclusively.
  • “National Critical Information Infrastructure Protection Center” (NCIIPC) has been established as the nodal agency for the protection of critical information infrastructure.

Best practices :-

  • Number of cyber security soldiers needs to be increased on a war-footing.
  • Digital literacy rates should be increased, so that dependence on others for cashless transactions will be reduced. Thereby, less chances of financial fraud.
  • Cyber vulnerabilities should be identified.
  • Financial sector and cyber security industry should collaborate.
  • People should not reveal too much personal information on the internet.

Conclusion :-

Whole world is fighting against cyber crimes. Some countries have advanced technology and human resources to deal with them. And some countries do not have that yet. India needs to increase its investment on cyber security and should spend on awareness programs on war-footing.

enied treatment, COVID-19 positive patients seen lying on doorstep of AIIMS hospital in Patna

A heart-wrenching vidoe has emerged in the midst of the rising figures of coronavirus in Bihar. The video is believed to be from AIIMS hospital, Patna. The video which doing rounds on social media is also shared by Leader of Opposition in the Bihar assembly, and the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)’s young face, Tejashwi Yadav. In the video we can see two coronavirus positive patients lying on the doorstep of the hospital wearing PPE kit, one of which is a former government officer.

Legendary Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan

MUMBAI Fans across India prayed on Monday for the legendary Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan and other members of his movie family who have been infected with the corona virus as one day of infection spread a new record without showing how high it is.

Bachchan, 77, and his son, Abhishek, were hospitalized in Mumbai while his daughter-in-law and ex-wife of Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and his eight-year-old grandson were also tested positive.

The highest Indian Bachchanes are infected with the virus, which spreads rapidly after the collapse of the new moon in late May to revive the shocked economy.
Special Hindu rituals are performed in temples throughout India by followers who pray for the recapture of a respected and revered character over the years.
“It sounds like not one Amitabh Bachchan has been sick, but every generation has been sick,” Vijay Patodia, a member of the All Bengal Amitabh Bachchan Fans’ Association, told Reuters at the temple east of Kolkata.
A spokesman for Nanavati Hospital, where the son and son were admitted, declined to comment, saying the family would provide updates. Bachchan is an active Twitter user and announced his illness on Saturday after being admitted to hospital.
“I hope he, @juniorbachchan and his family will recover quickly from # Covid_19 soon and be released from hospital,” said @jaikukki in the United States, accompanied by a video of Bachchan singing a popular song.
There were no updates from the family or hospital in the middle of Monday, but health officials said Sunday that the son and son were stable.
India, along with the United States and Brazil, highlights the global epidemic. It also announced the previous closure of its 1.3 billion people in March but failed to turn the curve.
COVID-19 cases shot more than 878,000 with a new record of 28,701 new infections on Monday, although parts of the country entered new closed homes.
India seems to have done better than most places in terms of the death toll in the cases, with tax rates set at 23,174, but some private observers believe the figures are unreliable as people who die with symptoms can be counted as victims unless tested.

Misogyny

The term “misogyny” is derived from the Ancient Greek word “mīsoguníā” which means hatred towards women. Misogyny has taken shape in multiple forms such as male privilege, patriarchy, gender discrimination, sexual harassment, belittling of women, violence against women, and sexual objectification. The roots of misogyny can be traced back to ancient Greek mythology.

Misogyny over years has evolved as an ideology which has engulfed the society as a smog which diminishes their site to aurora. Great philosophers, socialist, and thinkers of golden era were subdued by roars of male dominant society which narrowed their vision and made them a supporter of patriarchal society. Aristotle who was an ancient Greek philosopher and scientist was also a misogynist. He thought of women as a deformity, an incomplete male. He preached that men should always command and women should follow as they are the inferior being created by God. Misogyny at its front had male supporters, but over years, few females also supported the ideology as stated by Sociologist Michael Flood.

Over centuries, women have been suppressed, their rights were neglected as a human being, they were treated as an lower part of the society, and their roles were restricted to household chores and birthing. Prolonged oppression raised many voices and collectively led to a concept of feminism which started the longest movement in history which still continues.

Misogynythe “law enforcement” branch of patriarchy (contrasted with sexism, the branch of patriarchy concerned with beliefs and attitudes about female people’s inferiority), which involves the sanctioning of feminine gender norm-violations.

Patriarchy: the system in which female people are structurally oppressed on the basis of their sex (whether by male people, or in a way that advantages male people).

Postmodern feminism has two components, i.e., liberal feminism and radical feminism, the former being an individualistic form of feminist theory which focuses on women’s ability to maintain their equality by uplifting themselves in the field of academics, and other domains by which they can make better decisions and attain equal political and legal rights. Radical feminism on the other hand demands drastic reordering of society in which male supremacy is eliminated in all social and economic contexts.

The fourth-wave feminism refers to a kind of feminism that began around 2012 which targets sexual harassment, campus sexual harassment, rape culture, workplace discrimination, body shaming, sexist imagery in the media, online misogyny, assault on public transport, and other type of harassment that is associated with the use of social media. The issues which were shocking and horrid like Nirbhaya Delhi Gang Rape, Harvey Weinstein allegations, and Bill Cosby allegations gave birth to campaigns like Everyday Sexism Project, No More Page 3, and the recent #MeToo and Times Up movements, equality and the empowerment of women have become household conversations around the world.

These issues had drawn significant focus and brought legal reforms in issues such as sexual harassment at workplace as many women are employed in private, government, or unorganized sectors. Sexual harassment constitutes a gross violation of human right and women’s right to equality and dignity. It is illegal to harass a person because of their gender and sexual harassment includes unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical harassment of a sexual nature. Workplace sexual harassment, like other forms of violence, is not harmless.

Appraisal of employees on his/her Performance – Important for Development

Every company wants a hard working and goal oriented employee. Every organisation desires the results but what does employee desires? what is his/her goal.? An employee desires appraisal for his/her performance that he/she going to produce with the extra inputs employee going to produce.

Lets understand about appraisal of employees and needs of appraisal.

An employee performance appraisal is a process—often combining both written and oral elements—whereby management evaluates and provides feedback on employee job performance, including steps to improve or redirect activities as needed. Documenting performance provides a basis for pay increases and promotions. Appraisals are also important to help staff members improve their performance and as an avenue by which they can be rewarded or recognized for a job well done. In addition, they can serve a host of other functions, providing a launching point from which companies can clarify and shape responsibilities in accordance with business trends, clear lines of management-employee communication, and spur re-examinations of potentially hoary business practices. Yet Joel Myers notes in Memphis Business Journal that “in many organizations, performance appraisals only occur when management is building a case to terminate someone. It’s no wonder that the result is a mutual dread of the performance evaluation session—something to be avoided, if at all possible. This is no way to manage and motivate people. Performance appraisal is supposed to be a developmental experience for the employee and a ‘teaching moment’ for the manager.”

Lets look at goals of appraisal system.

While the term performance appraisal has meaning for most small business owners, it might be helpful to consider the goals of an appraisal system. They are as follows:

  1. To improve the company’s productivity
  2. To make informed personnel decisions regarding promotion, job changes, and termination
  3. To identify what is required to perform a job (goals and responsibilities of the job)
  4. To assess an employee’s performance against these goals
  5. To work to improve the employee’s performance by naming specific areas for improvement, developing a plan aimed at improving these areas, supporting the employee’s efforts at improvement via feedback and assistance, and ensuring the employee’s involvement and commitment to improving his or her performance.

What are the types of appraisal and assesment terms.? Lets list them out

1.Traditional

2.Self Initiated reviews

3.Self appraisal

4.360⁰ feedback

In developing an appraisal system for a business, an entrepreneur needs to consider the following:

  1. Size of staff
  2. Employees on an alternative work schedule
  3. Goals of company and desired employee behaviors to help achieve goals
  4. Measuring performance/work
  5. Pay increases and promotions
  6. Communication of appraisal system and individual performance
  7. Performance planning

Importance of law in society

The law is important for a society for it serves as a norm of conduct for citizens. It was also made to provide for proper guidelines and order upon the behaviour for all citizens and to sustain the equity on the three branches of the government. It keeps the society running. Without law there would be chaos and it would be survival of the fittest and everyman for himself. Not an ideal lifestyle for most part.

The law is important because it acts as a guideline as to what is accepted in society. Without it there would be conflicts between social groups and communities. It is pivotal that we follow them. The law allows for easy adoption to changes that occur in the society.

Law is a successful medium or organization, instrumental in realizing the social change in the nation or any locale precisely. In this way, we revive our conviction that law has been crucial in presenting changes in the societal structure and connections and keeps on being so.

Law is an arrangement of principles and rules which are implemented through social establishments to oversee conduct, at every possible opportunity. It shapes governmental issues, financial matters, and society from numerous points of view and fills in as a middle social person of relations between individuals.

Laws provide a framework and rules to help resolve disputes between individuals. Laws create a system where individuals can bring their disputes before an impartial fact-finder, such as a judge or jury. There are also legal alternatives where individuals work together to find a solution, such as by using alternative dispute resolution (ADR). There are courts at every level, from local to federal, to decide who should win in a dispute.

Without laws, there would be no way to set standards. It is easy enough to see why murder and theft are crimes, but laws also provide a framework for setting many other kinds of standards. Without the Federal Code of Regulations, it would be difficult for individuals.

The law helps in protecting our freedoms. No one can cause harm or be a nuisance to the society because they will be going against the law. Everyone is encouraged to be a law-abiding citizen for peaceful co-existence in the society. Those who do practices that are not guided by the law and end up infringing other people’s rights are should be subjected to harsh penalties.

A girl should be two things: who and what

Having a girlfriend/boyfriend is not acceptable but marrying a complete stranger and having sex on very first night is acceptable???? This is our so called society mentality.

Because sex has become cheap, easy, and worst of all, meaningless. Why bother with anyone’s emotions or opinions when you don’t have to?

The traditional mindset portrays men, especially young men, as hormone-driven beasts incapable of controlling their masculine urges. Women are tasked with protecting their sexual castle from conquest by one of these beasts. They are raised and expected to say “no,” and the beasts are expected to pull all the tricks, up to manipulation, pressure, and even force, to get “in the castle.”

In the worst cases, societies will pressure, mistreat, or even oppress women in order to satisfy this mindset. If a woman is raped, it’s her fault: What did she expect from a beast? Societies lock up the women to ‘protect’ them from the beasts out there.

If a woman accuses a man of rape, before any investigation, he is immediately taken into police custody and can be harassed for days if the woman has a good lawyer. A large number of rape cases recorded in India have been found to be fake. On the other hand, if a live-in is considered as marriage and the man has forcible sex with the woman, she cannot do much given that marital rape is not illegal in India. Again, a large number of rape cases in India go unrecorded for one reason or another. Further, the legal course is riddled with obstacles and confusions when it comes to inheritance, alimony, and rights of children born from such relationships. Girls also have feelings their emotions, dreams to live their life as they wanted to.why anyone wants to rulled her life?

society should understand this that girls are not an instrument or a toy to play with it. so please change your so called mentality towards them !! Because a girl is also a human being, she also has the right to live her life on her own terms whether you accept or not but the truth is that girls are the most beautiful creatures of the god and we all have to accept what she really wants and what things make her more happy. whether being with a boy she loves and spend her whole life with him or go with the parents choice. Thats only and only her choice.

Because being in a relationship is her business not at all society’s business !

Covid-19:India adds 24,879 new cases, total cases 7,67,296.

India had a record single-day surge of 24,879 Corona cases taking the cases to 7,67,296 on Thursday, with Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Delhi, Telangana, UP and Andhra Pradesh contributing to around 75 per cent of the new cases, according to the Union Health Ministry data.

The death toll climbed to 21,129 with 487 new deaths, the updated data at 8 am showed.

There have been 4,76,377 recovered cases, while there are 2,69,789 active cases of coronavirus infection in the country.

“Around 62.08 per cent of patients have recovered so far,” an official said.

The total number of confirmed cases included foreigners.

Of the 487 deaths reported in the last 24 hours, 198 are from Maharashtra, 64 from Tamil Nadu, 54 from Karnataka, 48 from Delhi, 23 from West Bengal, 18 from Uttar Pradesh, 16 from Gujarat, 12 from Andhra Pradesh, 11 from Telangana, 10 from Rajasthan, seven from Madhya Pradesh, six each from Jammu and Kashmir and Odisha, three each from Bihar, Uttarakhand, Punjab and Haryana and two from Assam.

The army personnels are requested to ban apps like snap chat, instagram ,pubg, we chat etc which are threat to army’s privacy.

India bans Chinese apps

In a big move last week, the Home Ministry banned 59 Chinese Apps including TikTok. The government said that it had received many complaints from various sources about the misuse of these apps for stealing and transmitting users’ data in an unauthorized manner to foreign servers.

As India banned the apps including TikTok, Chinese mouthpiece Global Times quoting sources said that the loss to the parent company – Beijing-based ByteDance could be as high as $6 billion. At the time that TikTok was taken down, it had approximately 370 million users on the Play Store, with a large majority of those coming from India

PM Modi Quits Chinese App

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 1 quit the Twitter-like Weibo account in China. The account, which posted messages in Chinese, removed all photos, posts and comments from the PM’s official handle. Reports stated that China had deleted ‘official Indian statements’, including PM Modi’s speech from the Indian embassy’s official account on WeChat – China’s popular social media app.

It is very necessary that we common people should stop using Chinese apps and products to promote Atmanirbhar Bharat.
