Harry Maguire then doubled their advantage almost immediately after the restart before Kane added a third with a close-range header. Jordan Henderson put the game beyond doubt with his first England goal, allowing Gareth Southgate and his team to canter into the semi-finals for the second major tournament in a row.
England take on Denmark in their semi-final clash at Wembley on Wednesday. Ukraine are next in action in their World Cup qualifying campaign against Kazakhstan in September.
