Take chance of Covid 19

 

Whenever there arise economy crash down , we came to witness a decline throughout History a Global emission. The air pollution has reduced   , skies became clear and water bodies also improved in some polluted cities , the sky have turned from dusty to blue. This opportunity came into hand when declared by PM Narendra Modi , the first lockdown . So , we came across some benefited positive change  throughout India along with the pandemic situation , which was not possible to achieve before. Although we are benefited from the situation , but if we focus then we are left in a poorer world ,financially crisis , few jobs and other added anxieties/ depression. Therefore Government and other employment sectors have to get down into the field after this situation  recovers , in order to recovering economy . India always had national and state action plans for climate change  but the problem is they never became successful. Thus , this corona provides a break from past . They drive government towards change.

Lets focus on changes-
PEOPLE IN DELHI can see clear skies and stars , the air pollution has gone down which is visible Nowadays.
JALANDHAR, PUNJAB’s people said that Himalayas are visiblevwhich was sighted after 30 years and snow capped mountains in clear blue skies.
California ,Beijing are having clearer skies and canals in vehicle , rivers like Ganga and Yumuna in India also cleaned up.
 Another on exporting products ,  before world top economics – America , China , Japan ,Germany , and other European and western Countries were into exporting food , but at present they may run out of stock , so basic essentials such as food grains , can be provided and also depend on supplies .

Government set up a new set of rules to govern the country’s environment clearance regime for industrial projects. The environment impact assessment EIA  notification 2020 dillutes rules by expanding the list of projects exempted from public consultation and does not prescribe a robust post environment clearance monitoring system. EIA 2020 changed few defination like capital dredging . The draft changes – 1. No public consultation for construction 2. Power to retrospectively regularise projects , exemption for project with strategic consideration concerning national defence , security , other .  The project imply critical to the policies framed by government .oversight of certain construction projects to exclude B2 category projects ( aerial ropeways , paint manufacturing bulk drug manufacturing projects . 
 Sustainable  recovery and development possible only when sound environment responses , plans and policies given importance . It is the only key concept and solution in creating a promising and prosperous future for societies. 

Truth is beauty And Beauty Truth.

The poetic saying  emphasises the identity of beauty and truth. According to it , only truth represents beauty – a fact which all humans should take note of all their day to day thoughts , proclivities , human and socal dealings , and works of art and science. There are such things as acted truths and acted lies , and these have their impact on human life  as important as those which arise from the spoken or the written word. Truth and falsehood are qualities that belong to the work of our hands , as well as words of our lips and are often more eloquent to the eye than the words can be to ears. They are expressed by our whole personalities , by our characters , by our conduct , by our general conversion with our kith and kin or , friends in the world , and foes . Great truths are often communicated by works of art , literature , sculpture, painting , cartoons , films or other  effective media that permeates the  human mind.

Every portrait painted is either a truth or a lie , or a mixture  of the two. Its beauty depends on the degree of truth , and honesty depicted in it. It also represents the character of the painter . An artist who puts his heart and souls in his work , and applies tones of colour , themes and dedicated motifs , is able to produce a beautiful piece . If his objective is merely mercenary , simply to flatter the onlooker and paint for the sake of getting outward application , in terms of more , his work cannot be called a piece of lasting beauty.
Truth is a beautiful operation , a dynamic thing which does its beneficient work in a personal and social context. On the other hand , a lie is an offensive operation , performed by one man upon other. It resembles robbery and theft. Just as robbery cannot be committed without a victim , so lies cannot be told  without a victim  to be deceived or beguiled . A lie is an offence against logic. It is an offence against the persons to whom it is addressed.
Whatever else truth may be , there is no doubt as to its being valuable , not merely in the sense that it is good to look at , but also it does good to those who see it , know it , and act upon it . Truth is , in other words , a value not residing inertly in the personality that utters it ,  or the work of art that express it . It operates rhythmically , making a difference for the better , to every mind which accepts it . On the opposite end is the lite that makes the personality of the teller as well as of the listener , blurred.
Like Truth , Beauty is dynamic and vital ; no wonder they look to be identical.
It spreads in the whole personality of each individual , his heart , brain , the hormones , the eyes and the ears.  It is not only inspires and also sentimentalises.

Welcome to New Education System 2020

 Thus to meet the need of 21st century , School education System  is  to convert  it to a 5+3+3+4 system  with 3 years  as pre -schooling. In a federal system , any reform can be made only with some  support from state and centre  who have taken the task of building an ambitious Plans. This process will help in eliminating  process of pedagogy , Structural inequalities and rampat commercialisation.  There will be  school examinations in  Grades 3 , 5 and 8  conducted by appropriate authority . A new  national Assessment centre  prakash will set up as  a standard -setting body  and thus the old system of examination of Grade 10 and 12  is  gonna re -designed.

The union cabinet on Wednesday  approved the New  Education policy . One of the major decision , the cabinet has renamed  the ministry of Human Resource and  Development  as ministry of Education. This decision of changing name came due to  recommendations listed in draft  on New Education Policy .
We already know about our education system ,regarding the poor literacy and Numeracy outcomes ,Drop out levels in middle  and Higher education failed to meet the aspirations for multi disciplinary Programmes.
Lets   speak  about  new reforms – 
1.Board  exams will test your  actual knowledge  and  not from root .
2.Mother tongue will be available till 5th standard  as instructions 
3.Report card will be on  skills  rather than on mere marks  and statements .
4.Pedagogical structure  reformed   as there will be no streams available
5.All seperation between vocational, acedemic , Curricular , Extra – curricular Will also be removed.
 
It is a new  national curriculum framework  for ECE , adult Education , and teachers.

National professional standards for teachers . Book promotion policy and Digital  libraries.  Among all others , the deadline of achieving universal literacy and numeracy by 2025  should be a top priority goal  for progress. Bagless day to be encouraged throughout  the year for school students . The three languages will be learnt by students on their choice , state and region. Variable model for semester , annual and module papers. Exam will be twice a year, no more board  exam stress.
 The present Education system runned for 34 years from  1986 , its  after 34 years  new reform introduced in educational line. Our Government have the vision of creating  the country with youth ‘s of high quality education  and make global superior knowledge country.

Haryana – Sports state

Among all the states in India, Haryana is one of the leading state involved in games and sports. Haryana share population of only 2% in  India. But  one third  of all medals are owned by Haryana’s Athletes  in India including 9 out of  26  golds in CWG. Haryana has  always  been  a big  contributor  in terms  of India ‘s  medal  haul at major  competitions .

 Traditionally Haryana has become a nursery of wrestlers and  boxers . Highest prize money for  winners  act as great  incentive for athletes .  Government’s    cash prizes for International  medals  are easily the highest in  country. If Haryana was a seperate country it would be  eighth on  2018 CWG  medal totally  behind sporting powerhouses  like Australia , England ,Wales ,  canada , New zealand  etc.
  Its a leading state in sports among  Other states. During the 33rd  national game held in  Assam in 2007 , Haryana stood 4th in the  nation with  medal tally  of 80  including  30 Gold , 22 silver and  28 bronze medals.
 Haryana is national championship in women ‘s hockey and  men’s Volley ball . The state has supported and promoted  its athletes.
 Hosting khelo  India Youth Games  in Haryana  will also add greater  impetus to our  commitment towards  creating a strong sporting  ecosystem. Many athletes  are trained under khelo  india schemes. It is a multi  sport event and   it is also providing large lodging for large  number of  participants  who will attend . 
Haryana has produced many elite  Athletes for international  platforms. Training is also going under Khelo  India Scheme . 159 medals owned in 2019 and 200 medals in 2020 . 
 Chief Minister  manohar lal khattar  and Union  minister of Youth  affairs and Sports  , Kiren Rijju  announced on 25 july that Haryana to host 4th 
 Edition of this . After Tokyo olympics , this sports to take Place. It will be held in Panchkula . It has been  envisioned by PM Modi  , its helping in identifying grassroots level talent  across country who will represent internationally.
Haryanivs are like having strong sporting culture in their blood .  Khelo usually take place in January every time of year  . But this time due to pandemic situation it gave rise to  be held  in delay with 10,000 participants . All the  participants are given scholarships of 500000 for time period of  8 years  to prepare for international sports Event. They are of 2 categories   –   21  old of college students and 17  old of school students. Thus is creating strong sports Ecosystem. Not only men but also women are giving best in this sports.

Again ban of chinese apps

The Government banned chinese apps again.As we all know there was 59 applications which include tiktok, shareit , uc browser, camscannner, club factory which were part of tension admist the border were banned  on june 29. They were banned due to  engagement of activities prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity, defence , public security and  order. They were matter of threat  to people. Some of the apps like tik tok were banned under  sec 69  A  of the Information technology Act as it was containing some of the pornographic contant.

This occured when there occured a sad and sorrowful incident  admist the tense border  standoff between India and china  beijing ,a incident which killed 20 indian army in June 15 by china troops  along the line of  actual control .Even we came to know from Minister of Information Technology that there is  misuse of mobile apps  available on Android and Ios platforms where stealing  and transmitting user’s data  in an unauthorised manner to servers which have location outside India. It was hostile to national security,defence of India, which impunges upon 
Sovereignty and integrity of India ,was matter of concern. For this situation , sufficient steps required to be taken. 
Therefore , government came forward with the task of banning all these apps whether used with internet or not . There were variety of apps like  starting from  e commerce  to gaming, social media browsers, sharing file and message to china. All are geting transmitted to beijing  agencies.
At present , india again banned  47 apps which arè variants of chinese apps. the apps are  Tiktok lite,  helo lite,  shareit lite, BIGO live lite, VFY lite.
Chinese company was having 300 million users of their apps , 2/3 rd of mobile phones downloaded their product.
 Tiktok apps  ban led to drastic effects to people  especially youngsters . A 18 years old tiktok creator  committed suicide.   People mentally became sick for these chinese apps.

Rising in 2020 – EARTHQUAKE outbreaks

INDIA has witnessed 127 miniature earthquakes in the first half of 2020.From  the far east of Arunachal pradesh to the far north of kashmir, the south  to capital Delhi itself , miniute temours became a daily basis news.An increase in detected earthquakes does not mean an  increase in earthquake per se. Population increase,habitation spread,and advances earthquake detection technology all contribute to higher earthquake numbers recorded over time. According to long term records since 1990,we expect about 16 major earthquakes in any given year. In past 44 years there was only 11   times major earthquakes found. The year 2010 had largest earthquake record  with 24 earthquakes more than or equal to 7.0 magnitude. Other years it was 16 per year.

Earthquake may cause additional damage and hampering recovery if continuous. Since 2015 over 10,000 people died due to earthquakes and tsunamis.

Little was understood about earthquakes until emergence  of seismology at the begining of 20th century.seismology  which involves the study of all aspects of  earthquakes,has yielded answers to such long standing questions as  why and  how earth quake occurs.

An Earthquake is a perceptible shaking of the surface of  the Earth,resulting from sudden release of energy in the earth’s crust that creates seismic waves.

 Major Earthquake mainly occurs in belts coinciding with the margins of tectonic plates. The most important Earthquake belt is the Circum -pacific belt, which mainly affects coastal religion of pacific ocean – those of New zealand ,New Guinea,Japan,The Aleutian Islands,Alaska, the western coast of North and South America.80% energy released in earthquake come from this. It is known as  pacific ring of  fire as associated with volcanic activity. The 2nd is alpide Belt passes through mediterranean region eastwards from Asia and join circum -pacific belt in the East Indies. 15% energy released here .

The Influence of Advertisement: Changing people's way of life

“Taste the Thunder!” A popular beverage slogan of ‘Thumbs Up’ promotes what they call “Fearlessness”.  Advertisement like this is often a persuasion for action, an action to get alongside with what the advertisement display. The advertising industry revolves around creating commercial messages urging the purchase of new or improved products or services in a variety of media i.e. print, online, digital, television, radio, and outdoor. 

Advertisement is impacting the society in many ways especially inducing a factor of not required materialism. The world is now moving fast, and the people don’t have enough time to think on their own, and is where these advertisements are more strongly playing its role in bringing the materialism to society. Now people cannot live without smartphones or cars etc., they are more attracted to new models or new styles. Advertisement display how these products bring life to them and happiness is only possible with the possession of a product fading out the image of real happiness and satisfaction which comes from inner self and not by involving in this material world and its contents.

What is also important is the way in which these advertisements are operating to the mindset of people to be attracted towards these advertisements. The answers to these questions lie in the fact that these advertisements are suggesting material possession will add to the social life of an individual and they will be more accepted in society. There are some of the most talented people, in the advertising industry, who are experts in reading the mind of common people, and thus what they do is simply providing the people what they want to see by understanding the intricacies of their life and thus manage to sell the things which are nothing but a part of a materialistic world. Coming together in COVID-19

Since the dawn of civilization, epidemics and pandemics have continued to haunt mankind. From the outbreak of Spanish Flu to Yellow fever, history of these pandemics dates back to the time of plague in Athens (430 B.C).But perhaps; COVID-19 (spread by SARS-COV-2 virus) is greatest in the history of mankind. This particular virus has brought entire world to a halt, something that the modern world history hasn’t witnessed before.

The virus, whose roots can be traced back to Hubei Province in China, has spread globally causing the infected number of cases rising over 92 lakh. From the Superpowers to third world countries, this virus has brought down healthcare sector, economies and the entire human race on its knees; India being no exception. Yes, various sectors such as healthcare, education, energy, and logistics have faced a serious crunch amidst lockdown. With the global economy shrinking to an all time low, economists predict a depression like situation in the near future. One might question whether we are heading towards an inevitable crisis? Or is the humanity doomed? Such negative thoughts do more harm to us than the virus itself.

Just like all other major turmoil and struggles, COVID-19 too comes with its own share of lessons and learning for the mankind. Lessons in humility, humanity and gratitude. These simple lessons which we had long forgotten in the rat race for materialistic pleasures.  While some countries initially played the “blame game” but very soon they realized that the mightiest weapon in combating the virus lies in unity and mutual co-operation. Shunning the geo-political differences, the SAARC countries came together and contributed to the COVID-19 relief fund. Other stories include those of Hindu-Muslim harmony in Telangana where a group of Muslim men performed the last rituals of a Hindu woman in the middle of lockdown restrictions. This virus has brought out heart warming stories of real heroes to the forefront. From the generous acts of donating her education savings by 13 yr old Nethra of Madurai, few Jamatis voluntarily coming forward to donate plasma serve as a ray of hope in these turbulent times.

Despite the social distancing, humanity is coming closer than ever before with a mutual sense of compassion, empathy and concern towards fellow human beings.  While we stay hidden indoors amidst fear, the mother earth is breathing back to life. Those little sparrows playing in my balcony, which I hadn’t seen in a long while, are a living testimony to that. The medical staff, sanitation workers and the COVID warriors whom we once took for granted are risking their lives to save ours. What else could be a nobler act than this!

The corona virus has indeed enabled us to look beyond economic differences. Becoming more sensitive and considerate towards our domestic helps. We’ve begun appreciating simple acts of kindness, engaging in deep conversations with our loved ones and clapping to say “thank you”. Our generation is more enlightened than ever before with the realisation however evolved the human race might become but in the end we’ll only remain a tiny spec in the universe. The forces of natural world are far mightier than we could possibly become. Humans may change the course of nature but can’t defy it.

The Chinese symbol “Ying and Yang” illustrates the philosophy of life beautifully. Life flows when energies complement rather than contradict each other. The mankind and nature must maintain balance for life to exist .The day we try to overpower the forces of natural world; it will only take a single microcosmic organism to perish the entire human race.

No, I’m not implying living in a utopian world and becoming ignorant of this deadly virus .True that our healthcare and education systems have failed required to meet necessary standards. But if it wasn’t for COVID-19, these loopholes might have gone neglected. There is no better time to reshape the economy, healthcare, politics and culture than now for the dawn of new world post COVID-19.

But why did it take a virus for this realisation?

“Because sometimes we need to get sick in order to get better”.

Let’s change our outlook towards this pandemic. Instead of perceiving it as a threat we need to see it as opportunity and emerge stronger than ever before. We are a fortunate generation having the privilege to shape a better world than the one we left behind. All we need is to shed stigmas and embrace this change.
