Dreams and Psychology

“Dreams are as simple or as complicated as dreamers.” The interpretations of the dreams are the royal road to a knowledge of the unconscious activities of the mind. The theories state that dreams don’t mean anything. These are just images put in by the brain from the memories. These are the stimulants that help one face the tragedies of life. As it’s truly said, “an individual suffers more in imagination than in reality” proves in this situation. Before facing it in person if a being conquers it in the dreams, then it will encourage him to win easily in real life. Its history goes back to the early stages when it was used as a tool to fool enemies because though our bodies get paralyzed while dreaming minds stay active. There is a whole psychology behind the dream theory and an explanation of why we dream in the way we do?

You dream, what you believe!!

Interesting Facts

“I always dream about falling from great heights.” It symbolizes that something in your life isn’t well. It might mean you need to rethink a choice or consider a new direction in some areas of life. It characterizes fear in existence, perhaps falling in work or love. It often expresses a need to let go and enjoy more.

“I was attacked by a chaser in my dream.” These types can be quite terrifying. It might indicate a desire to escape from your fears. Running away from an animal often depicts that you are hiding from your anger, passions and other feelings. If your pursuer is mysterious, it represents childhood trauma. And if a person is of opposite sex then it reveals that you are haunted by love or past relationships.

“I died, no not in real….in my sleep.” Death is a very common subject of dreams. People imagine death either of loved ones or about themselves. It reflects anxiety about a change. Just like death, change can be scary. Those approaching the end of life and loved ones around them experience significant and meaningful dreams, often relating to a confronting presence, preparing to go, watching or engaging with the deceased, loved ones waiting, distressing experiences, and unfinished business.

“I flew like a bird while dreaming.” It can be liberating at the same time, quite frightening. It can represent two sides. One, independence and freedom. On the other hand, escape from the realities of life.

There are a lot of things that influence dreams. The first thing includes health conditions that affect the secretions of the brain causing sleep to disrupt. The type of food one intakes can also become the factor for the feeling of sickness and in turn affect the types of dreams one visualize. Daily exercises and a little change in daily activities can help improve sleep and at last the dreams. There are two ways to remember dreams; one by telling yourself that you want to remember them when you wake up and the other by grasping as many images as you can before getting out of bed or using a smartphone.

Dreams are more profound when they seem the craziest. “Life is only a dream and we are the imagination of  ourselves.”

Is career pressure tearing you apart and you have no idea about what you really want from life? Then read it

Vaishali Singh (Cheenu Singh Rathore)

More often the pressure of becoming successful, of attaining growth, success, money or fame encaptivate one’s mind mostly in their teen years when they are going through a lot of things from the physical changes in their bodies to the mindset changes the teen years of one’s life are the toughest and the most important years which transform a person’s life completely and the change he or she attains during this period remains with him/ her throughout their lifetime. It’s more important to analyse what’s wrong or right for one and to focus upon being better no matter what the circumstances are, 19 the last teen year which is followed by 18 the age when one becomes eligible for doing a lot of things as a person becomes adult at this age, it’s the time when one starts to think that he/she is getting older and wants to start their career, everyone has a lot of potential and a lot of skill set, thanks to this modern world where you have access to the smart devices and internet which can make you learn anything at your own pace and helps you enhance your skillset but the major problem comes into play that everyone these days has started following a rat race of working on social media, everyone wants those huge no.s in the form of followers, likes, subscribers, etc and everyone is putting so much of pressure on themselves to become the most successful and famous social media marketing influencer, but how to go with it if all the efforts, time and skill you’re putting into your social media handle is not getting served, it means it’s not getting viral, not engaging much audience and in the mean time it’s not making you feel happy about what you’re doing, then the answer to your problem is clear you’re meant to do something apart from this social media thing, because if it’s not making you happy then it won’t make you happy even in the future where perhaps you’ll get a lot of followers or fans because happiness doesn’t lies in serving others with content happiness only lies in enjoying the process of doing what you do, it might be possible that you’re not made to become an influencer probably you are destined to do something else and build massive success in that field, if you have also wasted a lot of years in pursuing a social media career and it’s not growing and not making you satisfied then it’s time to find and experiment what you love, the possibilities are that you may fail, but there are also the chances of success, and remember life is a series of experiments, a very famous quote by Thomas Edision “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” so by trying and failing ultimately you’ll figure out the method of trying and succeeding. And also remember if you’re a kid of 20 (or +2 or -2) that means from 17 to 22( or near this age group), then you’re probably in school or college, and it’s your time to take risks, experiment things in life because you have miles to go you cannot figure out everything at this age, you’re still a kid, you need to experience a lot of things do what you love and don’t associate it with success, money, fame just let it be your passion and don’t settle yourself, keep moving and experiencing.

Fight your distractions and become successful

Kill laziness, get out of your bed and start working right away for your dreams. Don’t let your emotions consume you, do not let your emotions hinder your decisions because if you’ll let them doing this then everytime you won’t be taking the decisions but your emotions will, so try to control your emotions and overpower them. Though, emotions are associated with your feelings they are not things so it’s not easy to control your feelings but emotions are something which come out of us and we can definitely control them, now, what makes you feel ungrounded or unhappy is failing the execution, something that you decided to do or wanted to do and now it couldn’t got done because your laziness overpowered your mind and told you to procrastinate it and then the burden of not getting what you wanted, starts to put pressure on yourself, the biggest problem of humans is Idealization, we human beings have an inborn tendency of idealizing the things, we create our own world of thoughts where we creates an imaginary world around us and start to assume that whatever we’ve thought would be easy to have, but forget about working towards it, and then overtime the lack of execution kills your dreams and puts pressure on us, even though we, the human beings have an ideal version of ourselves too, we set our ideal self’s standards too high sometimes, that we are unable meet that standard and this creates a pressure on ourselves which ends up leaving us sad. So, to solve this, we should break our long term goal into several short term goals and at the fulfillment of each short term goal we should feel happiness and satisfaction.

Now, the point here is to analyse your priorities in life and work according to them, set your long term goal and break it down into several short term goals, and do not associate your happiness with results, just enjoy the process of doing. And just avoid all the unneccsary things from your life, and learn to tackle your emotions because too much emotions can distract you from reaching your goals.
