Are girls more intelligent than boys?

Almost of all major tests used to measure intelligence have been constructed so that there are no overall score differences between males and females. But there is little difference between the average IQ scores of men and women.Early studies show that male brains are 8 to 13 percent larger in volume than female brains, however this has been since attributed to difference in body size.Women have greater cortical thickness, and cortical surface area(controlling for body size) which leads to smaller brain size.

According to a research, it is found that women had greater blood flow in the prefrontal cortex(is a part of the brain which includes complex behaviour, including planning, and greatly contributes to personality development) compared to men, which might help them to be stronger in the aspects of life. This shows that girls are stronger in empathy, collaboration, self control, and showing appropriate concern.
