BULLYING – A DESTRUCTIVE BEHAVIOR

Whenever we see a person making fun or play a prank on someone, we’ll probably snort or grin and say that guy is joking around but what about the person whom he/she made fun of? Was that person fine with it? Personally, no one cares, mostly because they don’t understand the real meaning of the term “Bullying”. Bullying is when someone is picked on by a person/group or someone who uses their power to harm or control a person. Bullies might make fun of somebody who they believe doesn’t fit in or seems like they are weak and cannot stand up for themselves. Some instances of bullying are spreading rumors, social status, appearance, threatening harm, sexual identity, religion, and one major kind of bullying where these bullies posts mean texts or nasty photos online known as Cyber Bullying.

The aftermath of bullying can be horrifying. It can cause depression, anxiety, sleeplessness, loss of appetite, lack of self-confidence and self-respect, lose interest from their work, or worse become a bully. Bullies can be kind and fake – this bully might act like your buddy so you tell them things, but later do harmful things behind your back. The outspoken and aggressive one might make fun of you to your face or physically hurt you and secretive and tricky. This bully might attempt to maneuver in secret. They might anonymously begin a damaging rumor just to witness what happens. Bullies are all similar to one another they don’t care about anyone, like to control others, are often vulnerable, and threaten others to make themselves feel great.

We can help a person who has been bullied by observing if there is any unusual change in behavior or attitude. Try to find out the circumstances and see if these changes usually take place during the use of digital devices or after coming from school, college, or workplace. Don’t sound too inquisitive, but gently engage that person in a conversation. Take him/her into trust and try to understand what is happening, when it all began, and who is all into this act. Immediately file a complaint with the police in case that person is receiving sexual or physical intimidations, or you sense an illegal activity or violation underway.

If you are facing this issue, then ignore the bully and walk away. They normally like to get a response, so just show them you don’t give a damn. Always remember how much ever they provoke you do not get into a physical fight. You are better than them. It may help if you’ll talk to your parents, teachers, or friends or anyone who can give you the aid you require. Avoid being alone, stay with your friends who will back you up. Don’t forget self-confidence is the key to stand up against the bullies. Most people who bully others were once a victim, too. Try to talk to them and make them understand that all human beings are different and no matter what you should respect others.

Women participation in equity markets grows during Covid-19 pandemic

Women participation in equity markets has surged during the pandemic and experts believe the growing need to share household expenses with rampant pay cuts and lay-offs has brought them to trading.Additionally, women are looking for alternatives to the decreasing bank’s fixed deposit (FD) rates, they added.Interestingly, most of such women are first time investors and a large number of them are housewives.”As retail participation has grown during the lockdown, this has been true for women as well. In line with the overall investors population, women are looking for alternatives to decreasing FD rates,” said Shankar Vailaya – Director, Sharekhan by BNP Paribas.”Lockdown has just been an accelerator allowing women to deepen their capital market knowledge via digital solutions,”Vailaya added.Online brokerage house Upstox said it has witnessed a growth of 32 per cent in account opening by women from April to June 2020, compared to the preceding three months.Of these, 70 percent of women are first time investors. Additionally, more than 35 per cent of the brokerage house’s women customers are housewives.According to Upstox, around 74 per cent of female customers are from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities like Visakhapatnam, Jaipur, Surat, Ranga Reddy, Nagpur, Nashik, Guntur, among others.Out of the overall number of active female customers, 55 per cent are traders, whereas 45 per cent are investors (those that invest in equity delivery). It has seen a jump in active female customers by 53 per cent from April to June 2020, as compared to preceding three months. Nikhil Kamath, who co-founded Zerodha and True Beacon, said they have added 11 lakh clients since March 1, 2020. Of these, women clients are 1.8 lakh. He further said the average age of such women is 33 years.Tejas Khoday, co-founder and CEO, of FYERS, said in the last four months the stock broking fintech startup acquired over 20,000 new customers, of which 10 per cent were women traders. But, the overall traffic online includes 15 20 per cent women traders. Moreover, they are more inclined to invest than trade. In terms of expectations, Khoday said women want high profits in a very short period of time without too many entry/exits. But this could also be because most of them are first-time investors.

Books are always the best

Most of the time books are better than movies. Books can let you imagine the setting or events happening in the story. Movies tend to last about two hours and books take their time and last longer. Movies rush things so that they can end it fast and there. Not everyone has access to movies or can afford going to movie theatres but books can be borrowed at the library or from a friend.

Scientists at Stanford University proved that the process of reading trains the cognitive abilities of the brain. This effect doesn’t occur when watching TV or playing computer games.

When we read a book, we tend to visualize the characters a certain way and in movies they don’t look like the way we want them too. It disappoints us in many ways. I’ve read books before that have a plot twist at the end and in the movie it never happens. If you want to know a certain people’s culture better, you’d better read their books. Watching movies would be not preferable in this case.

When you start a novel, you dive into a whole new world and set pictures of the characters and settings in your mind. But this is not true in case of movies. You are blocked to that particular level of settings on the screen. Plus, the actors are the ones you usually already know, and their previous work reflects in your mind. You may also not like a part of the cast or the whole of it for some reason.

With a book J.K. Rowling can spend 10 pages describing a magical candy store and your brain is engaged. Your mind creates the world that is described before you. It’s a very active process. It’s intimate. It’s just you and the author. You’re sharing something private.

Now it’s a movie. Do you want to spend 10 minutes of the movie looking at the shelves of that magical candy store? You’d be bored out of your mind. Why? Well, the experience has gone from an active one to a passive one. Now you’re being shown that store, and maybe it’s not the way you imagined it would be. That’s not the way you thought that character would look or sound. He didn’t have that weird laugh. Also, what happened to that other character or event that was in the book? They left that whole part out and that’s sad.

You can have morals in books that don’t exist in movies b/c studios need mass appeal,Books make you think in ways that movies don’t usually trigger,Reading gives a quicker wit to the mind then movies which produce a sort of numbed brain effect. Which is not inherently bad,You can read anywhere.
Once Ray Bradbury said that-
You don’t have to burn books to destroy a culture. Just get people to stop reading them.”

The Father of Indian Cinema

Satyajit Ray, Lata Mangeshkar, Dilip Kumar, Sivaji Ganesan, Asha Bhosle, Yash Chopra, Dev Anand, K. Balachander, Amitabh Bachchan are the list of Indian cinema legends who were honored by the Dadasaheb Phalke award, which is India’s highest award in cinema for “outstanding contribution to the growth and development of Indian cinema”. The man behind the name of this prestigious award is Dhundiraj Govind Phalke, popularly known as Dadasaheb Phalke, an Indian producer-director-screenwriter, known as the Father of Indian cinema.

An overall of 95 feature films and 27 short films, in his career, spanning 19 years, he is known as the Father of Indian cinema for writing, directing, producing, and distributing his debut movie, which is also India’s first movie Raja Harishchandra in 1913.

As a child, Phalke displayed great interest in the creative arts. Determined to pursue his dreams, he joined the Sir J.J. School of Art, Bombay (now Mumbai), in 1885. While there he pursued a variety of interests, including photography, lithography, architecture, and amateur dramatics, and he became adept even at magic. He briefly worked as a painter, a theatrical set designer, and a photographer. In 1908 Phalke and a partner established Phalke’s Art Printing and Engraving Works, but the business failed because of differences between them. It was Phalke’s chance viewing of the silent film The Life of Christ (1910) that marked a turning point in his career. Deeply moved by the film, Phalke saw it as his mission to bring all that was Indian to the moving picture screen. He went to London in 1912 to learn the craft from British pioneer filmmaker Cecil Hepworth. In 1913 he released India’s first silent film, Raja Harishchandra, a work based on Hindu mythology.

While there are news about him like, He had given several advertisements for seeking handsome actors for the lead role. But, these advertisements brought inadequate and non- professional talent and so, he was forced to add a line “ugly faces need not apply” and the miserable failure of his firm, the Phalke Diamond Company, a model studio to train technicians, actors. He made many more movies including renowned works like Mohini Bhasmasur in 1913, Satyavan Savitri (1914), Lanka Dahan (1917), Shri Krishna Janma (1918), and Kaliya Mardan (1919). which paved the way to the cinema industry we have now.

In recognition of Phalke’s contribution to the Indian cinema, the India government instituted the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1969, an award presented annually by the president of India for lifetime contribution to Indian cinema.

Why bollywood is destroying itself by Remix.

“Ye khaan aagye hmm, yunhi saath saath chlte” that’s exactly what we feel when we listen today’s songs. If this is what we say evolving is, then Stop it! Stop it! Stop it!..

Hello everyone, This blog is dedicated in favour of retro songs and also stand firm for there justice. We have to come together, we have to, otherwise these new released songs will just destroy everyone’s taste and make them move towards English songs. We can’t let them do that.okay!
See, I’m not against of english songs but I just don’t want anyone to go for it just because bollywood doesn’t have some.

Those famous lyricist like Javed Akhtar ji,  Sameer, Gulzaar sahab.. all have performed greatly in the industry and also given us many evergreen masterpiece. But, you know it was never only the lyrics that made the song popular but the singers too like, Kishore Kumar, Mohammad Rafi, Lata mangeshkar. They use to sing a particular song for 25 to 30 times, to present it in a fabulous way to you all. There was nothing like auto tuner in those days, just try to imagine how hard it was and so the hard works payed. They got fame for there work. And now a days, these so cold rappers using those cheap words and not only using it but repeating it many times in a single sentence, actually there whole sentence is repeated in a song which makes it awful are getting fame just like that. Who’s fault is this??

It’s not like they all are bad but those rappers are good only if they go for there separate albums. So, we can’t blame this whole on them,ok! Like they are bad but it’s us who are encouraging them to do this. And after that we just hit the dislike button but that particular songs legacy is already been destroyed. We can’t let them do that, we can’t. We need some good Songs. There are few non rappers who are literally good like Gajendra verma, Darshan Raval and Arjun Kanungo, Deno james etc.

Some of you must be fan of NEHA KAKKAR and his brother Tony Kakkar. So, let me just clear you that being in trend doesn’t make something look good. Ok! Otherwise, Go for Binod.

So, we have stand firm for our choice. If we hate listening those remix then don’t just dislike it but make them realize that we are not going to accept anything like this. And also because, Old is Gold.

Let’s make a pact among us and make them Learn ” Don’t destroy our beloved Songs”. There’s many things I want to say but I think I made my point clear till now.

So, drop down your views on this blog and also on this topic. And also tell us your way to Stop them in destroying our favourite Bollywood songs.

See yaa.

Poverty – Not just a word but someone’s entire Life

Article by – Shishir Tripathi
Intern at Hariyali foundation in collaboration with Educational news

“Overcoming poverty is not just an act of charity, but an act of justice”

  • Nelson Mandela
First black president of South Africa
    Nobel Peace Prize winner.

Human beings have started to live in the world of multi storey buildings ,limousines, air conditioned rooms, fancy 5 – star restaurants and having everything right at their hand by just throwing money on this which they want. They have forgotten the real essence and the real meaning of life.

Everyone says that one must live a really simple life, grounded to reality and believing in simplicity. But there are just few people living with the same level of simplicity. On one shore, there is a carefree life filled with all the luxuries and facilities but on the other side there is a world of hunger, a world filled with a daily challenge to just earn a onetime meal and a world with everyday complications to not die with hunger and other problems.

Poverty is a situation when an individual is not even able to pay for his basic needs i.e., food, clothing and shelter, sanitation, education and health care.

Moving ahead from the above definition, it is the inability to live a normal life. It is the state of having not a roof above your head in rains. It is something so unwanted that no one really wants to talk about it except the ones who in actual know what it is by either suffering from it or those getting closer to the people facing it.

In India there is a concept of poverty line. Those who are living above the poverty line are the ones who are non poor and those who do not meet the criteria of the poverty line are considered to be poor.

The old formula for estimating the poverty line is based on the desired calorie requirement. The calorie needs vary depending on age, sex and the type of work that a person does. The accepted average calorie requirement in India is 2400 calories per person per day in rural areas and 2100 calories per person per day in urban areas. Since people living in rural areas engage themselves in more physical work, calorie requirements in rural areas are considered to be higher than urban areas. On the basis of these calculations, for the year 2000, the poverty line for a person was fixed at Rs 328 per month for the rural areas and Rs 454 for the urban areas.

Recently, some modifications were made considering other basic requirements such as housing, clothing, education, health, sanitation, conveyance, fuel, entertainment, etc, thus making the poverty line more realistic. This was done by Suresh Tendulkar (2009) and C Rangarajan in 2014.

The Tendulkar committee stipulated a benchmark daily per capita expenditure of R27 and R33 in rural and urban areas, respectively, and arrived at a cut-off of about 22% of the population below poverty line. These numbers were considered unrealistic and too low. Later, the Rangarajan committee raised these limits to Rs.32 and Rs.47, respectively, and worked out poverty line at close to 30%.

India has been ranked at the 103rd position among 119 countries on the Global Hunger Index, says a report. According to the report, India is among the 45 countries that have “serious levels of hunger“. As per the methodology of the Suresh Tendulkar Committee report, the population below the poverty line in India was 354 million (29.6% of the population) in 2009-2010 and was 269 million (21.9% of the population) in 2011–2012.

And also, not all people above the poverty line are the ones who are living a normal life. These criterias are just techniques to find out average number of poor and needy people. But in reality there are many people who can’t even manage a square meal and a pair of clothes for covering the whole body.

Moving ahead of figures, it is solely not the government’s responsibility to help the needy citizens in the country but also those who are in better positions, they should also come forward to help the needy people living in the world of darkness.

Many politicians and Bollywood personalities have just simply adopted some villages with poor sanitation facilities and other problems. Some people help in eradicating poverty by helping the needy ones getting some jobs and also setting up of small production units encouraging employment for the women living below poverty line.

Adopting a healthy life style with a blend of proper habits of not wasting food, giving the extra or short clothes to the needy people and many more techniques that a common middle class person can follow and contribute in the eradication of poverty from the country.

A small step by an individual can fill a stomach; can cover a naked and shivering body, can give a roof above a family and can help building a nation with no person living in the world of poverty.

Pollution

A word which we hear frequently never give that much importance that is required, usually we ignore the news related to pollution, we are not aware of the environment and the pollution related to it. While starting the article it’s important to define what is pollution, where is this pollution takes place, how to resolve this problem, what statutes are made by the legislature for the protection of the pollution. In this article, pollution is defined as, the presence of the harmful and poisonous substance in the environment, it can be in the soil, water, air, which causes distraction in the environment, the pollution is the problem which we ignore usually but that creates a huge distraction, like the presence of oxide, nitrate in the soil in the excessive amount creates distraction in the soil, water, and atmosphere. Pollution is the issue which we ignore very simply but its excessiveness also harms human life. The question comes to our mind where is this origin starts of the pollution. The basic answer of this problem that the pollution is starting when humans start to interfere in the environment creates excessiveness of the things, like industrialization, contamination, use of excessive vehicles which creates pollution like related to noise, deforestation all these factors increase the pollution in the environment. Due to which wildlife is also get affected deeply and many of the species are rare on the earth, many species of bird, black panther all come under the rare species. When we deal with this topic it’s not easy to end here with the simple word pollution. Pollution of water creates a distraction in the water bodies, it creates pollution in the water body due to industrial waste presence, it creates eutrophication in the water bodies. The example of the water pollution is the Ganga and Yamuna are the rivers, which are beautiful and holy but such industrial waste creates huge distraction due to which government have to start the plans like Ganga plan and the Yamuna plan, just to make aware the society about it. The Government also makes plans regarding the use of vehicles in Delhi, just to reduce the air pollution in Delhi. In the same manner, the government also make odd and even concept in Delhi, which becomes one of the examples for society. The legislature also takes initiative enact statutes for the safety of the environment even the government imposes punishment. Even the authority takes all the possible major steps just to avoid pollution, and also many PILs file taking pollution and environment as the subject matter. Many PILs ( public interest litigation ) is filed by the one of the famous and eminent personality is M.C. Mehta take many prominent cases in India which usually overlook by society, cases like introducing lead-free gasoline in India, reducing the water pollution in the Ganga river and also eroding of the Taj Mahal. All the cases and their verdict form the Supreme Court of India brings a change in the country. The changes bring from the year of 1984, in the country, in the context with this public interest litigation the legislature has enacted many statutes like the Air Pollution Control Act of 1955, the Air Pollution Prevention and Control Act 1981, the Environment Protection Act 1986, the Water Prevention and Control Act 1974. All these acts are enacted and enforced for the society and to protect the environment from these disastrous practices which harms the society and the environment. It forms mandate among the citizens to respect the environment and avoid to do all such practices.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHANGE SOMEONE?

The answer to this question is not as easy as we think. It’s not defined in a single word nor even a sentence but it depends upon certain reasons that a person changes its personality or not. For this topic is not easy to answer the question just with the single ‘yes’ or ‘no’ because it differs from person to person. Usually, we can say that person change its personality when it gets influenced with others, having some sort of pressure, when the person itself wants some sort of growth then it brings a change in its personality but its not easy to say that we can change someone, its depends and differ from person to person to change its personality or not. In this article try to cover the major aspect that there can be any possible reason to change the person and other major factors which can help in it. The change is so easy to adapt as Darwin’s theory of evolution itself says the change brings and we as a human being are adaptive towards it. That change was morphologically and anatomically but we as a human being become more civilized creature on the earth. Now when we talk on this topic in this article, here we are not dealing with the personal appearance but we are dealing with the inner soul of it. That can a person can purify its inner soul and brings better in it. Here we can say that it’s not in the hand of the other person to change one’s personality it completely depends upon the will and choice of the individual. For instance, we all have siblings in our family those were very notorious and naughty in their childhood as they attain the age of 14 -24 they suddenly change their choices, ideology and many more but some of them remain same and not that much mature towards their responsibility. From here we can understand that its completely depend upon the choice of the person. Certain factors can change the personality to some extent but not always like-

Friends and followers- we all agree that we have a single or more than one friends some of them are very close to the heart remaining of them are just good friends, having a friend, follower in our life is like the oxygen for the survival. Usually, we find the company according to nature and personality but if we accidentally found persons who are opposed to our nature than we start finding that much happening in that company, it creates a kind of undue influence in our mind which starts brings a change in our society, but at the same time when we have good company and people around us we change accordingly have some kind of enthusiasm in our life and surrounding. We can also say our society can also play a major role to change someone, the criticism and appreciation can bring the change in the personality.

Pressure – usually we ignore this here in this article pressure doesn’t refer to the atmospheric pressure, but it refers to the pressure we feel in our day-to-day life. The pressure we feel in the workplace, the pressure of studies, all these can lead to change in the one’s personality.

Learnings – usually we earn the good things from any of the sources whatever it is, either from a preacher or from the professor anyone can give the good learning in our life to lead the way and happy life. It not only related to any person but it is related to books, books can bring knowledge because we can say that books are the true friend of an individual.

Self-care and meditation- both these are interrelated to each other when a person performs mediation it brings an energy to its inner soul, it reduces the stress which is a most important thing for the person to lead a good and happy life.  Form this we can understand the major aspect that brings a change in own’s life but it completely depends upon the individual to change accordingly, nobody can force the person because it is not correct morally, each and everybody has its rights and duties and also have their own choice to lead their life we can help them to differentiate between the right and wrongs but not have in a capacity to change the personality. So, in my view and after going through with this topic I can say that the person’s choice to bring change in its personality or not, nobody can force to bring change in the individual.

DEFAMATION AS AN OFFENCE-

There are famous words said by the scholars that ‘think before you speak’ which means whenever you pass a statement on any person you should be careful what you are speaking knowing all the facts, circumstances but not eligible to pass any defamatory sentence on any person, it comes under the ambit of the offence, even in civil as well as criminal. Now the question comes to our mind the word defamation what it means in the real world, in which section of Indian Penal Code it defines. All these major questions try to answer in this article. A person doesn’t know the meaning of the word ‘defamation’ but the word defamation means that saying something wrong about a person is comes under the ambit of the defamation or defamatory sentence. For instance- ‘A’ is the worker in ‘B’s mill, but ‘B’ states that ‘A’ is not a hardworking person nor even loyal towards his responsibilities, he tries to even steal some money from the locker, without having the proof, records and knowing the facts, but he passes the statement which is defamatory in nature. Then in such cases, it comes under the ambit of defamation. The defamation is also the civil wrong and criminal wrong. The question comes then can we are not capable to say anything about the person, in such case the answer is, if the statement is related to defamation of the person then, it is considered as wrong in the eye of the law. In the Indian Penal Code 1860, the defamation is defined in section 499 to 502 which talks about the offence that anything spoken or with signs, visible representations with the intention to harm the person knowing the reason, that will harm the reputation of the person. In civil, the defamation is further divided into two classifications that we called libel and slander. The libel and slander are two types of defamation, one is by the word spoken or in any defamatory sentence printed or the other is defamation by the signs and representation that is visible to the individual. These two are called that one is for eyes and one is for ear, in any form defamatory sentence which harms the intention of the individual called as an offence. The section of 502of the Indian Penal Code 1860, that anything which is in printed form and engraved form, having a good reason to believe that such matter is defamatory in nature. The punishment for the offence of the defamation is simple imprisonment, which may extend to two years or with the fine or both which means the person is punished as well as eligible to pay the fine as well. We can not say that defamation is limited to symbols, signs that are used as defamatory for the person but the section 502 talks about the sale or printed engraved substance containing defamatory matter which means the person whosoever knowingly sale the defamatory substance just to make defamation of the person and even harms the reputation of the individual and not in the good faith. The legislature gives the person to lives its life at the full extent of freedom but at the same punished the person when any defamatory sentence is passed which harms the reputation of the individual. The constitution of India is the supreme itself impose some reasonable restriction in the article freedom of speech. So in this way, it is good to speak what you think but always make sure whatever you will speak is correct and also have some reasonability grounds to believe nut that statement doesn’t harm the reputation of the individual

The Characteristics Of A Dolphin

Marine life is pretty vast and mysterious. We have only yet discovered about 3 percent of our oceans. So there is a large space left to our imaginations. Many species of aquatic life reside in the oceans. There are phytoplankton for trees, oxygen mixed with water for inhalation, sharks and whales for predators, small fishes for prey and many more. One of the curious things is….How do dolphins breathe?Well for that first we have to see what makes us,humans different from dolphins in the race of respiration

  • Human respiration

Now, we are terrestrial animals and mammals. Our breathing when we sleep is slightly different from dolphins. We humans have our reflexes which makes us continue breathing even when we are unconscious (sleeping).Yes, the breathing is just 15 percent of when we are actually awake but the breathing process is automatic and continuous.

  • Dolphins

Now, dolphins are some interesting creatures. They are mammals, like us. So they don’t really have any bills like fishes do. Meaning they can’t breathe the oxygen which is dissolved in water but completely depend on atmospheric oxygen .Which is why they have to come up regularly, from the water to breathe in the oxygen. But the actual problem and the question arises when dolphins want to sleep! How does a dolphin breathe when it’s asleep? Anyways it has to breathe for his functions to work properly…

  • When they are asleep

When dolphins sleep, they do something very interesting. For that we have to see the body structure of a dolphin. We all agree that a brain has 2 parts. So what happens is, dolphins have their left brain connected to the right eye and the right brain connected to the left eye. Basically, it allows one half of a brain to sleep at a time. So, only half of the brain is unconscious while the other remains awake. So, if the left brain is resting, and the right eye is closed, is the left eye still open? Yes! As the left brain is still awake, the right eye remains open. Don’t get confused:1. Left eye- connected to the right brain.  2. Right eye- connected to the left brain.

From: Jeremy Bishop

So if one pair of the brain and eye are sleeping, the other part remains awake and continues to do the normal activities like breathing. Sometimes, they can even be seen swimming gently and steadily while the other part remains unconscious. The dolphins cannot sleep in complete unconsciousness because then they will drown because they constantly need oxygen for staying alive. This process continues periodically until both the parts have rested and the dolphin continues to do it’s normal work. This process also has a name – unihemispheric sleep because they sleep with semi- unconsciousness. Meaning, only one brain sleeps at a time. Sometimes, it sleeps on the sea bed and arise constantly for air to breathe. Now, you never mess with a sleeping dolphin, because they are never completely unconscious and when you are disturbing them, the conscious part of Their brain and the unconscious  part awakens , starting to chase you, and that will not be pleasant. According to EEG at average, a dolphin sleeps for probably 8 hours. That can be under water for about 8 to 10 minutes, maximum- 15 minutes.

Their nostrils are called blow holes which are present just top of their heads. They also have the ability to alter their surroundings.

Source:Photo by HAMID ELBAZ

Fun fact- After humans, dolphins come second in the property of the development of brain because they have complex abilities like problem solving, forming social groups etc.

Blow holes are closed when underwater. Hence, preventing the dolphins surviving, underwater. But haven’t they adapted themselves to grow gills and breathe? No, they adapted themselves to survive with this procedure. Well, good for us isn’t it?

But one should know that dolphins which are untrained (wild) are not to be played with. Cases can go up to lacerations (deep cuts) and broken bones as well. This is because wild dolphins like to kill just for fun. In fact, it’s in their emotions which have a property to kill or harm without any particular reason. It is advised that one must not act carelessly with Dolphins.

As usual, being precautions can be the only solution  in front of a  dolphin🐬

What actually fashion means to us??

Fashion is a popular aesthetic expression at a particular time and place and in a specific context, especially in clothing, footwear, lifestyle, accessories, makeup, hairstyle, and body proportions.Whereas a trend often connotes a peculiar aesthetic expression and often lasting shorter than a season, fashion is a distinctive and industry-supported expression traditionally tied to the fashion season and collections.Style is an expression that lasts over many seasons and is often connected to cultural movements and social markers, symbols, class, and culture.

Even though they are often used together, the term fashion differs from clothes and costumes, where the first describes the material and technical garment, whereas the second has been relegated to special senses like fancy-dress or masquerade wear. Fashion instead describes the social and temporal system that “activates” dress as a social signifier in a certain time and context.

Fashion is a foremost social statement. It is an outward means of expression to people and the rest of the world. With the passage of time, fashion makes our life colorful and changes our life with the time, so fashion is not a new thing in the world as it is found everywhere. Fashion changed from time to time but it has shown its existence in all ages. Not only young people do fashion, children, old people also do it. The ways in which people have behaved and dressed has changed throughout history and differs from place to place around the world. Fashion is ultimately important due to it is not just concealing your body, it also can change your external and internal expression.

Fashion started off in ancient times as culture and clothing was different in every country, now a day it is similar all around the world. Fashion is changing all the time and has unique characteristics, just like the article “How fashion has changed throughout the years” by, Natalie Vogiatzoglou says. For example, what was in in the 60’s were pastel colours, geometric shapes, dresses, skirts, and suits. The “hippie” fashion decade towards the end of the 1960’s. The 1970’s was the “disco” decade, flared pants and jumpsuits were in at this time. Fashion just kept getting crazier every decade. In the 1980’s the bright colours started coming in. Leg warmers, leggings and loose shirts were in at this time. The decade that fashion started getting more comfortable and people didn’t care what they wore was the 1990’s.

Fashion styles make people feel better about them. When you feel good in what you are wearing, you find yourself in a better mood, and in turn people will begin to view you differently. Fashion is essential because it can bring many positive aspects to your life. In a word, it is conducive to our image, our emotion, and our self-esteem.Your first impression is greatly important to other people’s view. Your face cannot change, but your fashion can be converted to make you become more good-looking, at least it would not make people nasty for dressing better. Your clothing influences your professional life and your personal life as well. Not only is fashion a powerful way of manipulating the public’s opinion of you, it also allows you to convey your individuality.

The type of clothing completely depends on the person what you wearing it, thereby it becomes a reflection of his perception of himself, and this is concerned to our personal identity. Another significant factor which influences Fashion trend is technology. There certainly has been a rapid growth of technology in the Fashion industry. For example, wearable technology has become a popular Fashion trend. Furthermore, 3D printing technology and the internet have also made an impact on Fashion.

Social influences are probably the strongest influences on the Fashion trend. Many music stars strongly influence Fashion choice. For example, wearing hoodies became famous due to rap musicians. Furthermore, movie and television actors create a big impact on Fashion. Many youngsters love to emulate the Fashion sense of their favourite celebrity. To sum it up, Fashion certainly has become a part and parcel of human life. It certainly is a force that is here to stay. Most noteworthy, Fashion has immersed every place on Earth.

By nature, man is fashionable because of his inherent desire to see and to be seen. New and current styles in clothes and manners, etc. help people in becoming more smart, attractive, fascinating and lovable. People never like to be out of fashion. Fashion is not confined to etiquette, manners, and dresses alone. It is pervasive and even religion, literature, and arts, etc. have their own fads and fashions. For example, the thirst for fashion has given rise to a variety of styles in writing and there are as many styles as there are famous writers, authors and poets.

Fashion is everywhere and you get to decide your fashion tastes and destiny. So go shopping for new clothes, used ones, or fabric and get to creating the you that you want to be today. It is why it is so important to have at least a basic understanding of how to choose your fashion items and also how to properly mix and match those things for the best results. Having access to the most expensive fashion trends on the market is undoubtedly a benefit, but it’s even more important to have a basic sense of how to maximize the way in which the wearer will display those clothes and other articles.

Legal Aid

This term the ‘legal aid’ is the term which is not very known and not easily understands by the people, usually the term quite new. For example- ‘A’ is the labour, who works whole day and night just to earn and give that money to his family, but ‘B’ is the owner of that mill and he is very rude, and he not gives the proper wages to the labour. To earn more money wife of ‘A’ also starts working in the same mill with his husband, but they both of them not get enough money due to which they feel unable to feed their daughter.

So here they are not that much rich to consult any lawyer or pay their high amount fees and get their wage accordingly the wage act nor even they are much literate to know about the rights and duty of the individual. So, from here we can say that this term arises that we called legal aid. Legal aid the term which means to provide the legal support or remedy those who are not that much financial capacity to deal with legally in such manner the concept of legal aid is introduced. The concept of legal aid is introduced, just to help those who need to deserve it like an insane person, woman or child, scheduled caste and tribe, a victim of human trafficking and many more. In the concept of the legal aid, the individual comes to know the sort of the problem its nature, and how to cure the problem as like the first aid, in which the person gets medical help, not dealing with the caste, sex or racism of the person. In the same manner, the legal aid is just to provide remedies to each and everyone those who, suffer or victim of any legal problem. Even the constitution itself talks about the Article 14, right to equality in all grounds, when the constitution itself talks about equality then it means the equality, is given in the case of the resources distribution and also equal before in the eyes of law. the constitution itself talks about the constitutional remedies under article 32 and article 226 in the Supreme Court and the High court. If the victim feels any kind of grievances they may directly apply to the Supreme court and High court to get justice. Because in the eyes of law justice is important justice can be a delay but it should be given to the victim. The court itself says in the civil matter the person can appeal to the other court in case of balance of convenience and when there are ends of justice, a person may appeal to another court with valid grounds. So, with this, we can say the justice is taken as a priority by the court itself, so in any of the case, justice should be given to the victim. Legal aid is the concept which is especially for the weaker sections to serve the justice, and also provide them with justice. As innocent should not be punished, justice is supreme in any of the cases.

IIT Bombay’s convocation ceremony goes virtual

Avatars attended graduation and not let the spirits get dampened by the current pandemic. The students of IIT Bombay showed their technical talent at their virtual reality graduation ceremony held on Sunday, 23 August 2020. Over 2000 graduates attended this ceremony as their own digital avatars. The University created avatars for each student, faculty members and speaker. In computing World Avatar is a digital representation of a person or character. This word had been taken from the concept of Gods having various forms in Hindu mythology. In Sanskrit, Avatar means Descent. In Hindu mythology when Gods come on to Earth, they take different forms of life and these forms are known as Avatars. We can think of VR as near reality. Virtual Reality uses technology to create an experience that seems real but is not actually happening. It stimulates an Environment and users can interact with 3D objects and living things in this virtual environment. Student avatars walked on the podium to receive their diplomas. Afterwards, these students even interacted with each other. Classmates and Colleagues virtually explored the campus. The Director of IIT Bombay, Professor Subhasis Chaudhuri hoped that this effort will inspire Engineers to think big and think innovatively. His words: “providing a virtual reality experience to all our graduates needed not only highly innovative steps but also a tremendous effort by our professors and staff.” Director Subhasis Chaudhuri said students should not be disadvantaged of a convocation ceremony. “The process involved a lot of planning and technology implementation,” he said. With two months contribution and hard work of a team of 20 resulted in making the virtual convocation a reality. The event live telecasted on DD Sahyadri Channel, Institute’s YouTube channel and Facebook page. Live telecasts commenced with speeches and one student saw each from different categories collecting medals and degrees virtually with their names and photos. A mobile application is designed specially only for IIT Bombay students in which they can see their animated personalized avatars graduating and getting his or her degree. IIT Bombay has taken the health of the students as their first priority besides understanding their needs and emotions. “The Institute thought it best to arrange such a VR-convocation for the graduating students so as not to put their health at risk but at the same time, not deprive them of the sense of achievement and pride of passing out of India’s premier engineering Institute,” IIT-Bombay said. By seeing IIT Bombay’s great Innovation, in his speech, Stephen A. Schwarzman said, “India occupies a unique position in the world today, especially when it comes to technology, where it has established global leadership through its talent. Of the 72 Indian-origin engineers who have founded unicorns across the world, 50 per cent are IIT alumni. IIT engineers are defining the global technology landscape and the newest alumni will be the next generation of future global leaders who will advance that mission”. He further said, with a young, ambitious and tech-savvy population, a forward-thinking government that supports entrepreneurship, and the fourth-largest start-up ecosystem in the world, India is poised to stake its claim as one of the world’s great innovation hubs.” Virtual Reality is a wonderful and innovative technology that is able to spread smiles on IIT Bombay graduates without depriving them from their achievements.
