Random COVID tests of travellers begin at Delhi airport from today

Random testing of Covid-19 for passengers arriving in the national capital from states where cases are increasing has begun at the Delhi airport from today. Passengers who will be found Covid-19 positive at arrival will have to mandatorily quarantine as per the protocols of the Health Ministry. 

The Delhi International Airport Limited, DIAL has informed that as per the latest mandate from the Delhi Disaster Management Authority, random COVID-19 testing of passengers coming from the states where the cases are increasing would be conducted by the authorised health officials.

The travellers would be allowed to exit the airport after collection of samples, however, on being found positive would be mandatorily quarantined as per the protocols of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
