Color Psychology , How Colour of Logo of Brand Benfit

Hello Friends , we will talk about color psychology color psychology means any color that we see in this world in some ways it affects our mind it makes some sense and has a meaning that our mind is able to anaylze if we see red color we assume it as a danger because we see red color at traffic signal green color whenever we see green color on the red light , it means GO GO… but there is a hidden secret behind these colors we will talk about this in details and how it can help a businessman if you are making your logo or anything related to your brand either your office color or house interior or for house also basically we look at this from business point of view you can put that theory in the users mind you make your website and if you understand the color science then you can trigger your consumer mind any way you want your users to perform a particular task which is this is the most important thing and which is not so this is called color psychology.

Lets start with primary colors red color. red means dangerous danger . fear red is basically used in heart(love)heart color, blood color mata ka tikka so red color is a very vibrant color red color has the largest wavelength and because of that it can be seen from long distance if it is visible from a long distance means if it use the red color in a place where we want it to seen from a long distance. there we can use red color this is scientific but according to psychology red color is a physical color so where we want to put physical things there we should use red color if we want to show love, affection here also we can use red color if we want to show anger then also we can red color basically it is a masculine color if your brand is representing a masculine thing.

we use our mind more we can live our life in 2 ways one is chilled other is all about learning about new things so all the learner brands use blue if you want to show that you are targeting people who comes into the category of learner whether they are businessman or anyone else this is why blue also symbolizes trust so if you use blue color in your brand you can show your consumer that you can trust us so in India mostly all the business logos that are made made by some common people they didn’t have much knowledge of color science that’s why they made it blue because blue is for trust for business just use it. so mostly small proprietorship businesses they have blue in common also blue means blue means coolness coolness means yo bro! not that coolness ,

coolness means cold if you want to showcase your brand as cold, you can blue color is a good choice then WHY BECAUSE in sunlight, there’s some yellowish tint in absence of sunlight there’s a bluish tint you may have seen that in movies this is all according to psychology it was practically experimented also where basically you were given two juice box both were of same flavor and both were of strawberry flavor one set of audience were given juice box A other set of audience were given juice box B but here , as flavor has no color juice box A was a transparent color liquid with a strawberry color group.

A tasted it but the juice that was given to set B with a little color of strawberry so the positive reviews received were of set B i.e which has a strawberry color public liked the taste of set B so this was the experiment. also they retested this experiment they took an another set of audience and they offered them both the juices set a and set b and asked them to judge which one is better so in majority people liked the set B with artificial color of strawberry so why this was happening? because we were judging the juice by its color we try to perceive that this thing is like this that is why color psychology works on a deep level> so intellectual is blue means bro i am intellectual, smart busy and money man, I don’t have time so this creates a negative phase also if i want to show I don’t have time for people like this or that , then I can show my brand that way another color is yellow yellow means emotional if you use yellow color you may have seen many logos they all symbolize emotions so if you want to trigger emotions anywhere then use yellow color in your room in logo or in your house anywhere here comes optimism.

Optimism means positivity so some brand shows optimism use yellow color if you want to show creativity, confidence , friendliness then use yellow color now talking about its opposite like anxiety, depression they all are connected to yellow so see every coin has its two face positive and negative how we want our consumer to see us it depends on us later I will tell you in deep that grey color you see behind me there is a reason behind this grey color too what is this reason? every nature thing that is green and it is not green we assume it is green so according to psychology , if you show any brand green it kind of represent nature now nature mean refreshment for peace now talking about its negative side we get easily bored there too so considering the negative side of green color, its boring here you can use green color but for peace also green color every coin has its two faces, now you have to think how you want to present it talking about the shortest wavelength in the spectrum is violet , also known as purple.

If you have seen purple color all the kings used to wear purple it was a luxury color for kings it is a extremely lavish color so if you want to showcase your brand as luxurious then you can use purple color now here one more thing come along with purple that is spiritual because earlier pop used to be spiritual if you want to showcase your brand spiritual then you can use purple color if you want to show you are of high priest then use purple in violet comes truth now it has one negative thing also now these high priest people with these people in old age there used to exist caste system lower caste and upper caste so here comes inferiority complex also if you showcase your brand as luxurious then it’s not for poor people so here you can showing them as if they are inferior that depends where you are using this color I am talking about brand about walls, interior about clothes.

If you mix red and yellow color physical and emotion will mix together so the result is orange foodpanda is of orange color orange is related to food and drinks it also means fun and orange defines passion also now talking about negative immature :/ so the brand I told you earlier ;p is immature also by representing orange color it’s all about portrayal right if I want to I can portray that orange color as fun also right also i can portray that brand as immature now it depends on what prospectus I want to portray my brand to consumer here there are many corelating with each other we don’t use just one color but we use multiple color if all those colors when mixed together they all compliment each other it to a theory now you need to think that if .

I use orange with black then what does it signify by the end of this video , you’ll get my point which color you can mix with others and what it will portray now lets talk about pink pink is a feminine color girls color if you are wearing a pink shirt, you are a girl ;p in real, pink is a feminine color also this color is that something that’s non masculine here comes all the non masculine features boys are told that they have strength okay girls are not that strong so it is a color which signifies lack of strength so if you have seen any girls brand they all are of pink color so pink means feminine let’s talk about its negative face feminine means weak so pink color is for weak.

If you want to portray pink as weak you can use pink color that this is weak. if you wear pink color then you may look like them ;p think in deep about what I just said ;0 if you are wise, you may have got my point ; because grey color is a neutral color psychologically  neutral means by seeing this grey color, you don’t interpret anything there is no impact of grey color on you your focus will be on me not on the background so that that’s why i use grey color it has its negative side too grey is a boring color lack of energy if you want to showcase something as boring then use grey but what I do I am standing here what i was telling you about the negative and positive and how you can play with them here I am using grey in the background i am showing you its positive side and why am I not showing its negative side because grey signifies lack of energy and I don’t want to show lack of energy so if I show lack of energy then this grey color will symbolize lack of energy but I am speaking with energy censored.

BLACK because it is amazing of all the things that I have done it’s always based on some psychology what do I want portray and just because people don’t know about this, they are unable to understand it now whatever I am telling you about the color science , from now all the logos you see in your daily life, make sure you think about what they are trying to portray whether its a wall or anything think what that particular color signifies whether it was done randomly or there was a hidden message behind it always be curious to know this old age kings palace see what they are trying to portray look at their paintings, its colors try to think of the reason behind the colors the painting of bloody marry it was used to be made with a specific color and why now black represents one more thing i.e security that’s why security guard wears black color uniform it represents security its negative face is that it is heavy weights of a weighing machine those weights are of which color.

Why Most Of The Startup Fails? -10 Reasons Why Startups Fail.

Helllo Friends !….. ,You may have often seen that most of the start-ups got closes in their first year They have an idea but still, the company got closed So in this video, we will talk about the top 10 reasons behind every startup fail. If you are also planning to start your own venture so please consider all these 10 reasons. The first thing is what is the type of industry Whichever industry we have chosen is that right for us or not? For Example – As you guys, all know I was a marketing head at an E-commerce company Where I realized that too many things are going wrong in this industry. The cost of the product that we are selling is for 4800 and the same product was selling on Amazon is for 4100 on his platform. Including all the taxes and profits. How is it possible? Then I realized that they are playing a Big game.

We were placing orders for 100 products but they might be placing an order for 50k products maybe that’s why they are able to sell their products in such competitive pricing. There are chances that they have a lot of funds that’s why they are trying to destroy the market So that no other e-commerce platform wouldn’t d be able to compete with them. Another big reason behind this they are considering their logistic cost to zero They consider their logistic cost as loss for now There are so many factors which make me realize that if I want to open an e-commerce store like Amazon or Flipkart so I wouldn’t be able to flourish Because I don’t have the same amount of fund that they have or how long I would able to fight with them 1or 2 years.

After then I will be broke like so many other’s companies. Now come to the second point and that is a faulty business model I think that If I do this business so I would be profitable. But, If I do overall calculations so I will find myself in the loss For example – we open a factory and product costing is coming 80rs And what we do next is we made all the plans regarding the selling price and all Then we decided that we will sell this product at a profit margin of 95 rupees. Then we did all the packaging and branding of that product. Then we got to know that the price of raw material frequently fluctuates. In starting, the price of raw material was 60 rupees and now it is available for 110 rupees. So now Can I increase the price of my product? No, Because we did all the branding and marketing of that product for the pricing of 95 rupees.

Or maybe at the timing of calculating the total cost we made some errors. We didn’t include rent and employees salary under that calculation. In short, we have to make our strong business model. If we don’t want to let our startup fail. There are many businesses which are in auto-pilot mode in which money comes automatically. Like I told you about Trivago Business model Now comes to the third point and that is marketing myopia. In this topic, I have already made a video but let me tell you how marketing myopia affects business model. Sometimes, we feel that our product is the most optimum product for the consumer. For example – You decided that you are going to make pager that is used a long time ago for only sending the messages. If you know about it, drop a comment below with yes. You are making pager in this modern era and telling everyone that your pager is a touch screen. But the consumer needs a touch smartphone with a strong camera, display, processing power.

But No you have already decided to sell pager. By doing things in this way your business will come to an end like Nokia. Along with that, we also have a week feedback system. In initial days every business product is going through the developing stage. Right now even they don’t know what kinds of problems customer’s are finding in their products. We think that our product is good For example – My protein business, we think that the quality and taste of our protein powder is superior. The chocolate favors of our protein powder are good. This is what we exactly think. But until we asked the customer’s about our product feedback and asked them how was our product? We have to ask our customers about possible changes and other things.

When we received feedbacks and work on it so the customers become loyal to us. Maybe he couldn’t buy my product before but I simply called him and develop my product according to his feedbacks After then I said thank you because of him I able to make changes in my product. Now, there are high chances that he will buy one more time from me and if he like my product then he will recommend others. Ultimately my customer base will be increased So basically we have to build at least one feedback system doesn’t matter what kind of business we are doing. So we can get in touch with the consumers directly And know where our product is lacking and what kind o possible changes can be done. If you are in the service industry, for example, you own a salon. you should always ask your customer about his experienced and his suggestions.

Many companies use feedback form so that is also the part of the system. Next point is you do n’t have a passion for doing business. He just got into the business because of the peer pressure. I have seen that go daddy makes websites for businesses for 100 or 1000 rupees. Will try to expand his father’s business by running ads But why would I do it? Because my friends are doing business People don’t know about the industry and they do not have any experience but still, they do business. What happens after then, if business got fail they feel demotivated. Ultimately the company got wasted Along with that, the other problem is we don’t have enough skills for starting a business. For example – I want to open digital marketing and a web development company but I don’t know anything about both of them But I feel like I am a good manager so I will hire employees who know these skills And I will manage all of them and will make money by doing these. In order to do something, you have to learn that skills first otherwise anyone will make you fool. Your own team will make you fool. They will tell you it will take around 1 month to make this website.

But if you have knowledge about that you can tell him that no it will hardly take 1 week to complete the website If someone is doing digital marketing so maybe their strategy will be different So at that point, you can also add up your strategies which will work. Because as a boss it’s totally your responsibility to do the project in the right way. None of your clients will blame your employee, they will blame you for anything which goes wrong. Ultimately, all the clients will go away and the company will shut down There’s a huge blunder for any startups which is lacking necessary skills. Even if you don’t have a passion still you can do business by learning it, But if you don’t have the required skills for running a business then you are going to face a huge failure.

The next point is we have a wring team members. What we did is we hired some of our cousin’s brothers or sisters and also hired our best friends and all. Because we think we have a good understanding so that we can do great business. Yes, understanding between team members is necessary but there should also have some skills set. For example – I know about digital marketing but doesn’t have knowledge about sales. Because of that, I can’t pitch my services to potential customer’s. So do I need someone in my team who knows digital marketing or knows about sales? Second example – I have all the knowledge about digital marketing but I need a guy knows about finances Who can file my GST and handle all the other things related to finance and tax.

Because no one knows about everything So what mistake we made is we hired our siblings and friends And we tell them to learn while doing the work Ultimately this thing will lead us to waste of time, money and resources and at the end, the company will come to an end. So we should make a team of those who know different skills set. So by doing this thing altogether, we can become an idle team and grow our company. There is no doubt that understanding between members is also important so don’t avoid it as well as. But the most important thing is to complement other’s The next thing is the cash burn rate cash burn rate is how much money do I need in a month to run my company.

It should be a total of all the expenses like marketing cost, rent, the salary of employees, and all. For example, we have a 10 lakh rupees and the rate of cash burning rate is 1 lakh rupee per month. So it means we can run our company for just 10 months. So we have to keep this thing in our mind with the purpose of making it profitable within 10 months. Otherwise, after then we will have to shut down it. Or If you have already started a business without knowing your cash burning rate Or you think you will decide your cash burning rate after a few months. So it means your company is going to close soon and all the money will be wasted. And the last point is which includes two sub-points.

First one is you failed to raise funding for your start-ups. You have a good business model but you always failed while pitching your business model in front of the investor. And because of that your business usually fails We have already made a series of funding to investors. So you can check that series. Funding to investors is also a kind of art. You have a good business model and burning cash rate is also low and you may also cross the break-even point But in order to grow your company to a big level. you need some funds Along with that, the second point is you are hungry for the funding in your initial days of business.

Equity of your company gets dilute by receiving quick funding. In the starting days of business, you have to dilute 30-40% of your company equities for some funding. And because of that, all the power you had earlier is now shifted to the investors. For example – If you are able to cross break-even point within 8-10 months. it means your company is in profit. In this stage, you need to work on your company 1 year more to make it more profitable and capture some more market share After then you can go for funding if you want to. There are many companies who shut down just because of , They all were just running behind the funding and then had some issues with the investors and because of that, they didn’t give any funding to them.

Why you should include push ups in your workout routine?

Push-up is a evergreen exercise in the evolving fitness world. Many new exercises emerges and many disappears but push-up is right there enhancing everyone’s gain. Here’s some motivation to include push-ups in your workout routine.

Compound movement

It simply means that they targets activate multiple muscle groups at time instead of targeting muscles in isolation. Like bicep curls target only biceps but push-ups target whole upper body. Push-ups performed with correct technique chest, triceps, core, anterior shoulders etc. It maximizes your training efficiency. If you are skinny guy with ectomorph body type, focus on compound movements like push-ups to stimulate muscle growth.

Measure of cardiovascular health

According to a study by Jama network, men who could complete at least 40 push-ups under 30 seconds were at a significantly lower risk of cardiovascular problems like heart attack and heart failure. It means more push-ups you can do, the more likely your cardiovascular health is good.

Modifiable

If you can’t even do a single traditional push-up, no need to worry as there are many variations of this exercises and you can perform variation which suits your fitness level. Pushups can be modified up to 100 variations. If you are a beginner and find normal push ups very hard, start with wall push ups and than move to tougher variations like decline push up, knee push up and normal push up. Also there are many variations available for pros like one hand push ups.

No equipment needed

Push ups are a great way to challenge yourself without spending a single cent. While many exercises requires equipment like dumbbells and barbells, but that’s not the case with push ups. There’s always a push up variant to challenge your body irrespective of your fitness level. You can do it anytime, anywhere.

Helpful in improving posture

It is a great posture improving exercise. If done with proper form, push ups can help you in getting a proper posture helping in putting us in a good positioning instead of being hunched over or looking down. So to save your back bone, do push ups daily.

Beneficial for core and upper body and bones

Generally push ups are considered as an exercise for our limbs. But many people don’t know that they help in strengthening your core stabilization muscles. These muscles are foundation of any strength work we do and kay factor in getting stronger. They are also a great exercise to improve upper body strength. They will you in getting bigger and stronger chest biceps , triceps , shoulders and upper back. Also few pushups a day will keep your bone doctor away. They build bone density which prevents from osteoporosis specially for women.

They are empowering

As stated earlier push ups help in strengthening upper body. Big and strong upper body will make you feel more strong confident and capable. The fact that you can push your own body weight up off of the ground and hold yourself up is incredible—and something we should all aspire to do!

So next you do a workout, try to include any variation of push ups.

DEEP LEARNING SERIES- PART 8

The previous article was about the padding, stride, and parameters of CNN. This article is about the pooling and the procedure to build an image classifier.

Pooling

This is another aspect of CNN. There are different types of pooling like min pooling, max pooling, avg pooling, etc. the process is the same as before i.e. the kernel vector slides over the input vector and does computations on the dot product. If a 3*3 kernel is considered then it is applied over a 3*3 region inside the vector, it finds the dot product in the case of convolution. The same in pooling finds a particular value and substitutes that value in the output vector. The kernel value decides the type of pooling. The following table shows the operation done by the pooling.

Type of poolingThe value seen in the output layer
Max poolingMaximum of all considered cells
Min poolingMinimum of all considered cells
Avg poolingAverage of all considered cells

The considered cells are bounded within the kernel dimensions.

The pictorial representation of average pooling is shown above. The number of parameters in pooling is zero.

Convolution and pooling are the basis for feature extraction. The vector obtained from this step is fed into an FFN which then does the required task on the image.

Features of CNN

  1. Sparse connectivity
  2. Weight sharing.

    Feature extraction-CNN              classifier-FNN

In general, CNN is first then FFN is later. But the order or number or types of convolution and pooling can vary based on the complexity and choice of the user.

Already there are a lot of models like VGGNet, AlexNet, GoogleNet, and ResNet. These models are made standard and their architecture has been already defined by researchers. We have to reshape our images in accordance with the dimensions of the model.

General procedure to build an image classifier using CNN

  1. Obtain the data in the form of image datasets.
  2. Set the output classes for the model to perform the classification on.
  3. Transform or in specific reshape the dimension of the images compatible to the model. The image size maybe 20*20 but the model accepts only 200*200 images; then we must reshape them to that size.
  4. Split the given data into training data and evaluation data. This is done by creating new datasets for both training and validation. More images are required for training.
  5. Define the model used for this task.
  6. Roughly sketch the architecture of the network.
  7. Determine the number of convolutions, pooling etc. and their order
  8. Determine the dimensions for the first layer, padding, stride, number of filters and dimensions of filter.
  9. Apply the formula and find the output dimensions for the next layer.
  10. Repeat 5d till the last layer in CNN.
  11. Determine the number of layers and number of neurons per layer and parameters in FNN.
  12. Sketch the architecture with the parameters and dimension.
  13. Incorporate these details into the machine.
  14. Or import a predefined model.  In that case the classes in the last layer in the FNN must be replaced with ‘1’ for binary classification or with the number of classes. This is known as transfer learning.
  15. Train the model using the training dataset and calculate the loss function for periodic steps in the training.
  16. Check if the machine has performed correctly by comparing the true output with model prediction and hence compute the training accuracy.
  17. Test the machine with the evaluation data and verify the performance on that data and compute the validation accuracy.
  18.   If both the accuracies are satisfactory then the machine is complete.

DEEP LEARNING SERIES- PART 7

The previous article was about the process of convolution and its implementation. This article is about the padding, stride and the parameters involved in a CNN.

We have seen that there is a reduction of dimension in the output vector. A technique known as padding is done to preserve the original dimensions in the output vector. The only change in this process is that we add a boundary of ‘0s’ over the input vector and then do the convolution process.

Procedure to implement padding

  1. To get n*n output use a (n+2*n+2) input
  2. To get 7*7 output use 9*9 input
  3. In that 9*9 input fill the first row, first column, last row and last column with zero.
  4. Now do the convolution operation on it using a filter.
  5. Observe that the output has the same dimensions as of the input.

Zero is used since it is insignificant so as to keep the output dimension without affecting the results

Here all the elements in the input vector have been transferred to the output. Hence using padding we can preserve the originality of the input. Padding is denoted using P. If P=1 then one layer of zeroes is added and so on.

It is not necessary that the filter or kernel must be applied to all the cells. The pattern of applying the kernel onto the input vector is determined using the stride. It determines the shift or gaps in the cells where the filter has to be applied.-

S=1 means no gap is created. The filter is applied to all the cells.

S=2 means gap of 1. The filter is applied to alternative cells. This halves the dimensions on the output vector.

This diagram shows the movement of filter on a vector with stride of 1 and 2. With a stride of 2; alternative columns are accessed and hence the number of computations per row decreases by 2. Hence the output dimensions reduce while use stride.

The padding and stride are some features used in CNN.

Parameters in a convolution layer

The following are the terms needed for calculating the parameter for a convolution layer.

Input layer

Width Wi – width of input image

Height Hi – height of input image

Depth Di – 3 since they follow RGB

We saw that 7*7 inputs without padding and stride along with 3*3 kernels gave a 5*5 output. It can be verified using this calculation.

The role of padding can also be verified using this calculation.

The f is known as filter size. It can be a 1*1, 3*3 and so on. It is a 1-D value so the first value is taken. There is another term K which refers to the number of kernels used. This value is fixed by user.

These values are similar to those of w and b. The machine learns the ideal value for these parameters for high efficiency. The significance of partial connection or CNN can be easily understood through the parameters.

Consider the same example of (30*30*3) vector. The parameter for CNN by using 10 kernels will be 2.7 million. This is a large number. But if the same is done using FNN then the parameters will be at least 100 million. This is almost 50 times that of before. This is significantly larger than CNN. The reason for this large number is due to the full connectivity.

Parameter= 30*30*3*3*10= 2.7M

LIFE WITHOUT MODERN GADGETS

By: Astha Raghav
Technology today has revolutionalized our times in all possible ways. From dawn to dusk there is no time where we work without a gadget in our hand. Be it the global plague of mobile phones or our fingures struck on computers, i-pads,tabs, modern gadgets are such an integral part of our everyday life today that we can’t really imagine a world without them.
Today we are completely dependent on modern gadgets. Our mobile phone is like a personal secretary with accounts of all that we do everyday. The times when we remembered the phone numbers of important contacts have long gone, now that is the job of mobile to save it in its memory. Everywhere around, we can spot young people with headphones in their ear, connected to their i-pads and unaware of their surroundings. Modern gadgets seem to have helped to connect us virtually but in reality they have forced us to  an isolated life. The human connects, especially the amount of time we used to spend with family and friends in past has today reduced to watsApp messages and Facebook updates. Perhaps if we go back to such a time when we have our life without modern gadgets, we will be able to come close to our family and friends. The connect between two persons is a human bond. Messages and emails transfer our words but they can’t send the emotions which lie behind those words.

Thus in today’s time, a life without modern gadgets will be one of human emotions and feelings and not of robotic expressions and methods. We will be able to build relationships and not increase the friends list. It will be a human life with sensitivity and love. Science has made life easy, convenient, comfortable, better and more beautiful. Its achievements, discoveries and inventions are wonderful. Friends and relatives living in different parts of the world seem a lot closer all thanks to modern gadgets, such as web cam, etc. Therefore, it is suffice to say that life without modern gadgets would slow down and become less efficient. Science has made life easy, convenient, comfortable, better and more beautiful.

LAUGHTER IS THE BEST MEDICINE

 By: Astha Raghav

It should not take a doctor to tell you that laughing is good for health, a better way to cope with life than brooding over negative thoughts. Can there be a better way to greet the day than with a smile or a deep- bellied laugh? Laughingout loud helps more than endless rounds of medication. Not only is laughter therapy free and easy to practice, it can benefit in many ways. The benefits of laughter. It’s true: laughter is strong medicine. It draws people together in ways that trigger healthy physical and emotional changes in the body. Laughter strengthens your immune system, boosts mood, diminishes pain, and protects you from the damaging effects of stress.

Laughter is a good muscle-relaxant and reduces stress hormones, it increases the count of natural killer cells and raises antibody levels. 15 minutes of laughter is equivalent to 10 minutes of strenuous aerobic exercise. It is the enemy of anti-depressant pills and tranquillizers.

Laughter improves lung capacity and oxygen levels in blood and cures chest infections. It is the best medicine. Do not waste time; join a laughter club and harvest rich benefits from the healing effects of laughter therapy. Laughter is the best medicine!: Humor is good for the health! idiom. This idiom suggests that laughter or good humor is beneficial to the health. The old cliche, “laughter is the best medicine,” may actually have some truth to it. According to legendary funny man Carl Reiner, “there isn’t anything more important than being able to laugh. When you can laugh, life is worth living.

WHY READING IS IMPORTANT IN TODAY’S WORLD

Amidst our daily lives filled with activities throughout our entire day from the crack of dawn to dusk, we often find ourselves multi-tasking with little to no time for our own wellness. Our constant need for checking social media instead for trying to gather more knowledge and trying to learn new things has not helped much in improving the situation at all. When was the last time you picked up a book and were actually able to finish it? Certainly we may not always have time to read books in our busy schedules. However, trying does not hurt at all. Reading is an activity that might have picked up ever since we were kinds. It is actually a privilege; being able to read and write is a privilege in itself. But sometimes we severely fail to acknowledge this.

Photo of Opened Book

Reading comes with a variety of benefits. Some of them are discussed as follows:-

HELPS IMPROVE CONCENTRATION AND FOCUS

As multi-task away our days into oblivion, when we actually nothing getting done at times, it can be quite frustrating when we are just trying to do our best. We might get distracted by that twitter notification or that whatsapp message from the friend’s group planning a reunion. This results us in losing our focus and make us completely forget what we were actually doing in the first place. However, reading can really help us solve this issue at hand. A number of studies have shown that reading around 15-20 minutes a day can significantly improve your focus and concentration levels to a maximum.

Boy in Gray Jacket Reading Book

So, read a book to focus on your everyday tasks better!

MAKES US EMPATHETIC

Woman in White Shirt Reading Book

Reading a book about the experiences of everyday racism tolerate by African-american people may help us understand the major problem of the world that affects these innocent souls at a massive scale. Certainly, in such cases, books may help us to become more empathetic towards the way we observe and perceive things in our life. We may become kinder and compassionate to our fellow beings, all thanks to our books.

So, make the world a better place by initiating a change and start reading!

MAKES US BETTER AT COMMUNICATION

Readings book can actually make us a better communicator. This is evident through the fact that a we read books, knowing about stories, differing point of views, they offer us common ground for analysing the various side of arguments. This may help us in our everyday conversations as we are often able to understand the situations in better manner, keeping in mind not only our requirements but that of the other parties as well. INSPIRATION LEADS TO SUCCESS.

Inspiration can come from anywhere, it’s something that makes you want to change in your life for the better, or someone who pushes you or set’s an example, or someone that makes you think about your life and how you want to change it.

My inspiration was my envy! Yes you heard it right. Growing up as a student was a challenging task. A child is vulnerable during this stage of life. The influence which the social sphere lay’s on them is very overwhelming. A child is born as an empty slate with capabilities; that child becomes a well adjusted individual by manifesting the potential they possess in a right way.

Let me share my piece of story. My experience as a student was, I lacked the quality of confidence and was not motivated enough to perform well in my desire area of interest, Literature. Every year mu school use to host English Recitation Competition in which I wanted to participate and win, but didn’t had the grit to admit my self into the competition. My teacher who always encouraged every student to exploit their potential advised me,“Winning doesn’t matter, what matter is participating”. That piece of encouragement was sufficient to to kick start my journey in search of my confidence aand winning that competition. I participated in the competition but I lose I was disheartened but was determine to win next year, but again success was not on my side and that’s when envy came into the frame. I was envious towards the winners and compared myself with them not releasing I was demotivating my own self. Consequently I observed the winners in the following years analyzing their ploy and instructed myself if they can do it why can’t I! I worked on my language skills and hand gestures evently advancing in the reciting tactics. I made the winners my model and changed my envious attitude into a matured one, which helped me to boost my motivation. This changes helped me to win the competition after a consistent failures in the past years. That’s when I learnt “INSPIRATION LEADS TO SUCCESS”

Social Media Etiquettes

Social media etiquette has been the need of the hour with the emergence of various social media platforms in the modern world. Since this are the etiquettes to be followed online, they are also known as NETIQUETTES.

■ SOCIAL MEDIA ETIQUETTE & IT’S IMPORTANCE

▪Social media etiquette refers to the guidelines that companies and individuals use to preserve their reputation online.

A single silly mistake can not only spoil your reputation  professionally but also in your personal life.

▪Etiquette helps with the hard part.

Most articles about social media focus on how to handle platforms. But most missteps in social media happen because of how we handle our audiences. Etiquette provides the framework for tackling this “people part.” Without it, you’re flying blind in all those platforms.

▪Etiquette helps you bounce back from mistakes.

No matter how great your manners are, inevitably we all make mistakes in social media. That’s because people are weird and unpredictable. It’s impossible to flawlessly communicate with everyone all the time. But knowing where points of confusion commonly crop up can help you improve your chances of doing it more successfully, more often.

▪Etiquette makes you a better supporter of your peers.

There is no one “right way” to do social media and no one does it perfectly. Knowing other people are also making mistakes makes the whole playing field less intimidating. Our collective imperfection also makes us less likely to jump on the blame bandwagon and start pointing fingers when mistakes happen.

▪ Etiquette helps you be more empathetic.

While your goal in using social media is undoubtedly important, don’t forget you are communicating with people who have goals, too. Using proper etiquette forces you to put yourself in your audience’s shoes, which ultimately gives you a better understanding of their wants and needs.

▪ Etiquette helps you focus on the bottom line.

Posting personal info to a professional account, accidentally sharing private information publicly or inadvertently insulting an influential supporter are all etiquette mistakes that can create a social media firestorm. Will those type of mistakes end your career or company? Maybe not. But they will distract you from the business of being awesome and that can affect your bottom line.

▪Etiquette makes you more productive.

In spite of its popular appeal and easy access, social media is complicated and complex and only produces strategic results if you use it strategically. You will need a variety of tools at your disposal to do this strategic work. Etiquette is one of those tools.

▪ Etiquette makes the social web a better place.

Sure pleases and thank yous seem like little things that don’t matter a whole lot in the grand scheme. But there is a lot of rudeness, trolling and bullying on social media these days. Using good etiquette is one way you can help collectively tip the scales back in the direction of people being nicer to each other.

▪ Good etiquette feels good.

As Maya Angelou once said, “Just do right. Right might not be expedient. It may not be profitable. But it will satisfy your soul.” Social media etiquette is social media done right that feel right.

■TIPS TO IMPROVE YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA ETIQUETTES

▪Think before you post. Ask yourself how a post could be taken out of context, double- check that it’s error-free and ensure you’re posting on the right account.

▪ Understand the platform you’re posting on and the conventions of that platform. On Twitter, for example, you can post several times a day, while the same behaviour might be considered spammy on Facebook. On Facebook, hashtags are widely considered #annoying so #DontUseThem #ever .

Speaking of which, don’t use too many hashtags even on Twitter. Recent studies have shown that hashtags play little role in increasing the virality of your tweet and can impede understanding. When you do use them, ensure that every letter of a new word is capitalized. (I.e. #GoTeamGo not #goteamgo)

Don’t auto-post from Facebook to Twitter and vice versa. Though auto-posting might save you some time, no one will read a Twitter post that gets cut-off mid sentence or a Facebook post with @ tags.

▪ Strike the right tone: If you post in language that’s too stiff and formal, your organization will look aloof and out of place. If you’re too casual, you will look unprofessional.

Don’t disguise your intentions. Be up front whenever you promote something you have a vested interest in.

 ▪Use correct grammar and spelling.

Don’t sign your posts, unless you’re

 a) posting from a Twitter account that’s handled by multiple people or

 b) Mark Twain/ Oscar Wilde/ Ghandi or some other famous quotable figure.

Don’t use Capslock (no one likes being shouted at) or go overboard with exclamation marks/emoticons. Unless your team has just upset its arch-rival with 1 second to go at the Olympics/Paralympics, you probably don’t need more than 1 exclamation mark per sentence.

▪Respond to questions and comments promptly.

Don’t let social media accounts fall idle. It reflects poorly on your organization. If you’re strapped for time, use some of the many post-scheduling devices such as Hootsuite to schedule some content.

▪Use blocking or banning only as a last measure. Your social media channels should be a place for healthy debate. If someone is speaking negatively about your organization, politely respond to their concerns and encourage them to contact you by email to follow up. If someone is being harassing or using threatening language, however, feel free to block and ban them.

▪Be careful with humour. If something will offend even 1 person out of 100, don’t post it. Humour can backfire more than any other posting type.

▪ While it’s okay to share something from another organization’s page, ask before you share something from someone’s personal page.

▪Vary your message. If you want to increase the visibility of a big event with multiple posts, change the language and tone of each post.

On Twitter, shorten your links using a link shortener like Ow.ly or go.gl.

▪ Many people who work in social media for sports organizations have an existing relationship within the sports community (i.e. a former athlete) and may have friends there. Be mindful of the distinction between your personal and professional social media life and keep your tone professional when engaging with your real-life friends on your organization’s social media channels.

▪ Above all, be genuine. Traditional business communication methods can come off as wooden and hollow on social media. Ditch the passive voice and the stock phrases and speak directly to your audience.

The Voidless Void

Photo by Anni Roenkae on Pexels.com

We are always filled with so much curiosity and questions to know why the certain thing is happening the way they are, we were always this eager to find out the truth even when we were toddlers we have this tendency of why, and it is natural too when we have this vast, boundless space which is filled with void yet it contains the basic life element there.

On some planet of this vast space, we have a canyon of the size of the united states and we don’t even know what could be lurking behind the Neptune.

We know if we have something in our life it’s not because they just randomly appear out of nowhere but it’s actually where they were crafted So why would anything in our space be just randomly placed?

Our galaxy out there and even many more are situated at a certain place and billion and millions of light-years away as they are not found in isolation but they are either the part of a cluster or they have a belt of satellite galaxies around the group.

A Bizzare Cosmic Void

Our space is the large web of many things with spaces filled with dark matter and the voids in between the network of many big and clustered galaxies and still, they cover almost 90% of the total space which could vary in the diameter of billions and millions of light year.

The question still lingers on that how the void must have been formed or they just appear out in one space day? As the formation of the galaxy, we are currently residing started millions of the year ago, they were objects which were highly clustered and thus make the impact on the density of that cosmic web making the smaller object around them either move far away and creating the lesser density area which now we know as void.

The Sound of Void

The cosmic web we think might be just the representation of some model explaining the thing which one can’t actually see from but its more than that the cosmic web is the largest structure showing the pattern of the galaxy with voids and many things in between filling everything that our entire space has to offer us.

How come when it sustains our very own earth in its web and contains many alien objects, planets, and things still while defining it the 90% of it is just nothing and how can one know everything about nothing?

Nothing is what our space has made up from the starting is it? No, our space millions and a billion of years ago were evenly spread out on the surface with no star, no void nothing just the presence of gases but when the presence of gases and matter increased in certain part it started growing stronger and hence collapsing under the rule of gravity which started the creation of star and planets and eventually big bluffy galaxy thus taking everything around them and living back the void.

What's happening in Afghanistan?

Afghanistan is again under the control of the Taliban, a fundamentalist group that ruled the nation for five years before U.S.-led forces ousted them in 2001. Refugees fleeing the group’s ultraconservative brand of Islam have swelled the population of Kabul, the airport has been besieged by Afghans desperate to find a way out, and worries are spreading that the Taliban’s return might encourage Islamist movements elsewhere in Central Asia more than two decades after Osama bin Laden first sought refuge under their protection.

Q1) What is happening in Kabul?

Taliban forces entered the capital of Kabul on Aug. 15, effectively ending a 20-year effort by the U.S. and other Western nations to remodel Afghanistan as a modern democracy. They were buoyed in part by an agreement with the Trump administration in February last year for U.S. forces to leave the country, with President Biden subsequently setting Aug. 31 as the exit date. With Afghan government forces losing air cover and plagued by desertions, the Taliban quickly expanded their footprint before taking the last remaining cities, including Kabul.

Their arrival in the capital sparked panic. Afghans who worked with Western armed forces or agencies rushed to Hamid Karzai International Airport seeking a way out. Western embassies moved their staff to the airport, which is under U.S. military control. In chaotic scenes there, crowds of Afghans ran alongside military transport planes as they prepared for takeoff, with some people trying to cling to the sides of the aircraft. Afghans and Westerners stranded in Kabul trickled into the airport for evacuation, but entry remained difficult, with Taliban fighters manning checkpoints and no clear system to bring people in. On Friday, military personnel fired tear gas to control the crowds trying to get in to board evacuation flights and clear to space for families authorized to leave.

Q2) Why did Afghanistan’s capital fall so quickly?

Afghanistan’s national army and police forces, theoretically numbering 350,000 men and trained and equipped at huge cost by the U.S. and Western allies, were supposed to be a powerful deterrent to the Taliban. They were trained to match the way American forces operate, combining ground operations with air power and using aircraft to resupply far-flung outposts and collect intelligence.

But following Mr Biden’s withdrawal plan, the U.S. pulled its air support, intelligence and contractors servicing Afghanistan’s planes and helicopters. That meant the Afghan military couldn’t function anymore. In many instances, soldiers simply changed out of the uniforms into civilian clothes. Speaking at the White House on Aug. 16, Mr Biden said he stands “squarely behind” his decision to withdraw U.S. troops from Afghanistan, though he acknowledged that the Taliban took control far more quickly than he expected. He cast much of the blame on the Afghan military for failing to take up the fight with the insurgents.

The Taliban have put the three conditions before the people of Afghanistan – Either they accept Sharia law or leave Afghanistan or die. To all the readers of this very article, let’s pray for the safety of the people of Afghanistan.

Dance in india has an unbroken tradition of over 2000 years. Two main division of its forms are classical and folk. The classical is the style’s adherence to the guidelines laid down in natyashastra, which explains the indian art of acting.folk dance of india vary according to the region and have no specific grammar.

here let’s know about this two dances which i like the most. Bharatanatyam and kathak

Photo by Darina Belonogova on Pexels.com

Bharatanatyam originated in tamilnadu and was earlier known as daasiyattam. this dance form has been handed down through the centuries by dance teachers called nattuwanars and the temple dancers, called devadasis. In the sacred environment of the temple these families developed and propagated their heritage.the training traditionally took around seven years under the direction of the teachers who were scholars and persons of great learning.

kathak means ‘ to tell a story’. this north inidan dance form is inextricably bound with classical hindustani music, and the rhythmic agility of the feet is accompanied by the table or pakhvaj. traditionally the stories were of radha and krishna in the natwari style nu the mughal invasion of north india had a serious impact on the dance. the dance was taken to muslim courts and thus it became more entertaining and less religious in content. more emphasis was laid on nirtha, the pure dance aspect and less on abhinaya[expression and emotion].
