Places I have cried in :

Hi guys so this is another blog of mine which is very very raw this is just my emotions and the places that I have visited and made me emotional once in a while and the places that have broken me down a letter if you want to judge me on the basis of this article your very free to go constructive criticism always is welcomed but even if you judge me just tell me because I want to know what people think so I don’t want the judgement to get wasted.
So here it is:
1)Movie theaters:
so every time I enter the movie theater I am very very certain that there is a scene in the movie which will break me down a little. Tamasha or be it the three Stooges the movie is gonna make me cry I am gonna cry.
2) airports and train stations:
Someone might not agree with me but I find airports and train stations to be extremely depressing. I absolutely hate airports or train stations. How helpless it is to watch someone you love walk out of that airport or the train station and you not able to stop them how helpless right.it’s just like so similar to that quote the worst kind of feeling is when you know your world is ending is falling apart and all you can do is blankly stare. I find airports and train stations give the same vibe.how it feels that the person you love is so happy about leaving and you cannot even tell them that you are sad because they’re about to go on a journey which is supposed to be important for them.
3) library:
Library it so silent that you can almost hear your mind screaming things at you.you just sitting silently in that silent room where everyone is studying and you are just flipping through the pages of a book very randomly and nothing is going inside your head and you just lay off your head down and cry for 5 minutes breakdown a bit . You cry for almost 5 minutes and then and you remember you have a lecture in another 5.
4) concert:
Is it weird to say to in a concert? I guess when your favorite artist comes in and sings the first line of the song that you have been listening to to get through life you feel that electricity inside you feel that Vibe you feel the destruction slowly destroying itself so that electricity just you know gives down tears. The electricity does give the Goosebumps and tears follow.
5)washrooms:
No matter what, everyone has cried here.it’s a space when no one can see you or no one can hear you and you know you can have your personal breakdown for 2 minutes and then you walk out the very next moment dancing like nothing ever happened and none never knew what happened and no one never knew if you had a breakdown.
6) while driving or in the back seat of the cab:
this happens when you are in the cab you just met someone and you know it’s the last time and images flash and you breakdown in the backseat of the cab.The last time I met the person I knew it was my last time before the lock-down so hence it’s in here .
7) your bedroom:
It’s 3 a.m. you are in your bedroom you have no one to talk to, you know in the weight of a stomach that something is wrong but you just cannot put a finger to it so you feel as if nothing is in your hands anymore you feel as if everything is slipping out and you just hug your pillow and you cry your eyes out. It is so well said that your pillow knows you the best because it was there were no one else was it was there when your tears had to be void and no one was there to wipe it out.
8) in front of my best friend:
this happens when your best friend told you not to do a certain things and then you do it and then you just can’t undo it and all you want to do is hug him and just say I know you told me not to do it but I still have done it and you just want to sulk while you just wait while he screams at you “I told you”.well really wanna talk to him about a lot of things right now but honestly he is busy there and I wanna hear “I told you”.
9)on your Instagram:
when you see all your friends getting engaged are getting married or working on their jobs or working on the startups or travel in the whole world or just when you see that everyone around you is so busy and all you’re doing at 3:00 in the morning is scrolling down Instagram so you think your whole life again put it up in some sentences sulk at what you been doing and just go back to sleep.

Sushant Singh Rajput

Sushant Singh Rajput(SSR) was born on 21st January 1986 in Patna, Bihar. He was an actor, entrepreneur, and a philanthropist. He began his career by doing daily soaps like ‘kis desh mein hai mera dil’ and an award winning soap ‘pavitra rishta’.

He died on 14th June, 2020 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He was found hanging in his Bandra house. He committed suicide. But as we can see that Kangana Ranaut had posted a video on her instagram handle saying that it was not a suicide, it was a planned murder.

He had no godfather. That’s why his super hit films were not that much applauded. He had done films like Kai po che, M.S. Dhoni, Chhichhore, etc. These all were super hit movies but they were not applauded. According to recent news it was stated that after doing Chhichhore, he had signed 6-8 new movies but later on his contract of doibg these new 6-8 movies was cancelled.

He had no one. He had survived in this industry all alone. Kangana Ranaut in her video also said that from his last instagram posts, it was clear that he was literally begging that please watch my movies otherwise they’ll throw me out of this industry.

It is coming in the news that he was in depression and all, but the truth is he was not in depression, he was made to believe that he is worthless and useless. That’s why he committed suicide.

Presently, in the bollywood industry nepotism is going on. The directors sign star kids only. For example, Ananya Pandey, Sonakshi Sinha, etc etc. Non-star kids are not getting any chance even if they are more talented than the star kids.

SSR is personally one of my favorite actors. He was such a grounded and humble person. I am still in shock about his demise. I wish his soul may Rest In Peace.

Cycle, the New Hero in Rescue Stories

Cycle is the first vehicle we start to ride in our childhood. We have so many memories with our favourite cycles. Then the priorities change for some. Some go for bike and some for cars. But for poor families cycle is the cheapest vehicle to drive to work or anywhere. Cycle is precious to them because it gives them a chance to earn their livelihood.

This pandemic has shown India and many other countries that cycle can come to rescue so many people. It has got back its own necessity and charm. Poor migrant workers who could not afford the train or bus fares rode cycles to go back to their villages. They covered great distance with their cycles by paddling from work place to own village. They were desperate to be with their families in the lockdown. They had stress about losing jobs and gradually were without any money to pay rent to landlords. Some had their cycle vans with them and carried their family in the back. There are some interesting as well as sad incidents which happened to the migrant workers on the road.

Jyoti Kumari Paswan is a fifteen year old girl who thought of helping her ailing father in the lockdown. She had a second-hand cycle which costs Rs. 2000 and a bottle of water in her home. She decided to use the cycle to reach the hometown with her father on back seat. She was so determined that she pedalled around 1,200 km for eight days straight from Sikandarpur in Haryana to Darbhanga in Bihar with brief stops at Palwal, Agra and Mathura. She started the journey on 7 May on an impulse to save father from struggling to afford two meals with zero savings. Her story became viral in social media and she got praises for her resolve. Seeing her potential to pursue her career as a serious cyclist the Cycling Federation of India has offered her a trial in New Delhi after the lockdown.  Ivanka Trump, the US President Donald Trump’s daughter, has also saluted Jyoti for this “beautiful feat of endurance.”

In another instance Mohammad Iqbal decided to steal a cycle from Rarah village in Bharatpur from Sahab Singh and left an apology note. Iqbal was determined to pedal 250 km with his son to reach home in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. An innocent heart and a desperate situation led him to apologize to the cycle owner with the note mentioning that as a helpless labourer he had to reach home with his specially-abled son. Thus he took the cycle and asked the owner to forgive him.

Prashant Nayak’s case is no less interesting. A twenty three year old migrant worker, he was determined to pedal his cycle and reach his hometown. As he was stranded without any work for a week he decided to cycle his way to Endalo village, Odisha. He started his journey on 24 April with some other Odia workers. He reached Khammam, Telangana, on 5 May. While he was taking some rest under an overbridge in the darkness one unidentified person stole his cycle. In desperate and helpless situation Prashant stole another man’s cycle and reached his village after twenty days. This is like a real-life sequel to the classic movie “Bicycle Thieves” by the Italian director, Vittorio De Sica.

Dharamvir, a migrant worker from Bihar, was cycling from Delhi to Khagaria with other fellow cyclists. Suddenly on the way felt unwell and died in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh. They were on road for four days and were to cover 1200 km stretch to reach the village.

Ram Biswas, a forty four old migrant worker, was pedalling to his hometown with a group of five men. They started the journey from Chennai to reach Odisha. But he died of starvation near Gummidipoondi, Tamil Nadu-Andhra Pradesh border.

The pandemic has brought back cycle to the lives of many. Lot of people are using it for commuting to and from office everyday. Migrants on the move have found in it a great means of travel. No wonder, sale of cycles have gone up in several cities. Different state governments are now seriously considering the construction of cycle bay to aid cyclists. Cycles it seems will continue to play a heroic role for some time.

Fortnite and PUBG craze amongst youth

Many web based games that are getting well known during the lockdown have imaginative endurance situations, with regards to the Covid-19 wellbeing alarm. Time spent on games is increasing at a high rate. The main reason being lockdown and less work to do.

Player unknown’s battlegrounds (PUBG) has approximately 400 million players around the world, whereas fortnite has approximately 200 million players worldwide. As the statistics is clear, PUBG is more popular amongst youth and is played by children of all age groups.

Both PUBG and Fortnite are survival games and the idea of both games is quite similar. You also get to decide your avatar, regardless of your gender. You can also select various modes from solo, duo or squad. You also get to add your friends and play with them as a team and talk to them on voice chat for better communication in the game. Fortnite and PUBG are survival games, where around 100 players fight against each other in player versus player combat to be the last one standing. All the players skydive onto an island and search for weapons and equipment for their survival. The game’s matchmaking algorithm makes sure you play with people who are at your standard level, which makes the game interesting to play.

It can lead to addiction if not played responsibly. The games do not force you to play a certain way. Since they are goal oriented games. They have so many tools, which allows a person to try out new strategies/ new tools, land in different places, play it aggressive or defensive, according to their wish every time they play, which leads them to playing it for hours. Spending too much time on pubg blocks kids’ mind from being creative as they are sitting on one game. It also makes them lazy and lethargic.

The PUBG craze is a game-changer, in more ways than one and is more popular than fortnite. And it is not just students but working professionals who are also hooked into this game, especially during lockdown, as the work is comparatively quite less than earlier. Some people say they play these games to de-stress. However, some are seriously addicted. It is fine to play these games but addiction of anything is not good and may become a problem.

How to reduce playing Fornite and PUBG?

  1. Dedicate a fixed time for playing and make sure you do not exceed the time. Finish your pending work for the day first and then play it for a limited time.
  2. Find other things to do than just playing these games. Engage yourself in other activities as well.
  3. Avoid re-playing the game if you have lost. Many people keep playing until they win, which leads to addiction.
  4.  Do not come under the influence of your friends to play this game. Those who play these games also ask their friends to join their team. You should always avoid such callings.
  5. Avoid watching videos of these games.
  6. Do not stay up late, playing games. Sleeping on time is important to avoid playing it for more time.

Language and Its Functions

A language is a comprehensive term that can be defined as a process of communication, where certain ideas are conveyed through sound or signs. Language is primarily spoken and not written, as written form of language is called script. Language is social by nature and an inseparable culture of the people, who have created the language at certain point of time; a society blossoms with the development of a particular language.

According to facts and figures, there are over 5000 languages in the world, but at the same time 25 languages disappear every year, because of negligence or no speakers. Therefore to put simply, it can be said that with the innovation of language, a society develops; without it, a society nullifies.

The languages spoken worldwide.

Functions of a Language

Language is a medium of expressing one’s thoughts and ideas through sound and symbols in a variety of ways. It is often regarded as a tool because of the previously mentioned cause. So, a language thus serves voluminous amount of purposes as per the requirements.
The basic function of a language is to communicate information of a some particular sort. It is used to inform others, to express certain ideas, feelings, moods, experiences etc. In addition to this, technically, language is an extremely complex and highly versatile and code that is used for exchanging the generated emotions. Another major function that language serves is that of expressive function, that has been demonstrated by literature, poetry and music. It is used to express the feeling of the speaker on one hand while on the other, it can be used to generate the same feeling in the listeners. As a matter of fact, Socrates and Plato consider language to be a mechanism which provides truth and knowledge.

On a very different note, it has been also analysed in linguistic studies (the study of language) that a language is a reflection of any particular society. It is seen that choice of words in a language—even for gender, ways of speaking and the rules for conversing are highly determined by certain social requirements. For consideration, let us take one example for a better understanding of the fact mentioned above. In Bengali language, there are no set of words to show gender differentiation whereas in Hindi, there are set of words that reflect gender differentiation.
It is also not a very denying fact that it is a language only that makes us different from the animals. Language is prerogative of man and makes him more civilised in the society, that in turn leads to the progress of a society. Moreover, Language is to be learnt only; it is not something that we have inherited biologically but acquired in life as a part of culture of any regional or religious groups.

Not only this but specific terms are also used for the people acquiring special knowledge of languages, as there a number of people who are capable of speaking more than one or two language(s) at a time. For example, a person is called bilingual of he speaks two languages while he is called multilingual if he speaks more than one language; polyglot is a person having a command of many languages while a linguist is a person involved in observing all the human languages and interprets them on the basis of sound and meaning.

Yes, that’s true.. You need time and patience to learn more than one or two languages at a time, with greater degree of concentration as well as interest.

However, each and every language has its own kind of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. This is because of the regional influences on language. This makes one language different than other but at the same time a lot of similarities can be found amongst the languages. For instance, if we compare Bengali, Assamese and Odiya languages, we will find a lot of similar words have been used, though all of them are different as well unique in their own way. In fact, language also generates various dialects or off shoots from itself that are spoken by particular community of any region. Like in Bengali, there are several dialects, such as Bangal, Sylheti, Ho, Santhali etc. and these all are spoken by some Bengali communities. Therefore, it can be commented that language becomes a mode of socialisation; it’s a mirror of the society, that binds every person through a thread, giving them an identity of there own, because it is from language only that the region of a person is recognized. In the words of professor David Crystal, “Language is the repository of the history of a people. It is their identity.”

Now as a conclusive part of this entire topic, it can be said that language is something that is bit complex to understand and define, although it is easier to learn. Language also has a great role to play in cultural accumulation and historical transmission. Every system of storing uses language, be it drama, printed books,Proverbs, symbols or music. It has been the constant endeavour of human beings to gain more knowledge about this world. Language makes this possible by providing a medium to express, reason and make sense of human perceptions. Language is a part of our intangible heritage as well; it is a part of our culture and provides a specific identity of our own. As a part of our heritage, importance of language should be understood and should be protected by using it to the maximum during any conversation, or else it would get extinct form the world, which means loss of a unique heritage. In a nutshell it can be stated that language plays a very pivotal part in binding us with our society in a thread; a person may die due to any chronic illness, but he definitely dies when he’s incapable of speaking any language, hence.

Consumer’s Purchasing Behavior modified due to COVID-19

I would like to quote Milton Friedman in reference to the title of the topic – “Many people want the government to protect the consumer. A much more urgent problem is to protect the consumer from the government”. Is this true after all or is it just a perception of one’s biased opinion.

The novel Coronavirus also known as Covid 19 has created chaos all over the world. Everyone is truly suffering, it is as if god has bestowed his curse upon mankind, the days never really seem to end and the night slithers like a sly snake into a delirious day. People have experienced panic in these dooms days and the lifestyle changes will greatly have an effect on the ever evolving economy. The minute you switch on the television and watch the news where we notice that there is no point of positivity to be seen, the number of deaths and the diagnosed patients with corona just seem to be climbing up like jack who climbed the green bean stock which just never really seemed to end. Covid 19 has trapped people into a never ending whirlpool. The monotony of everyday just does not seem to end. We are truly living in an invincible nightmare which seems to never leave our minds even though our minds have already woken up to the grave reality of the present and the unforeseeable future which we will witness. The consumer behavior would be quite depressed due to the lockdown. The current GDP growth rate is 1.9% which has been the lowest in comparison to the last few years.

The economy is facing a critical crisis from the last three months and the consumers are left in a state of confusion. The post Covid- 19 scenario is not going to be sweet after all, we will definitely have to work our way up the ladder to get back to the standard scenario. Corona is going to have a crazy effect on each worker be it the daily domestic cleaner and the delivery men from the different e-commerce sites or the IT personnel and the business man or even the common consumer. And the effect it shall have on the consumers would be long lasting.  One will witness a slump in the graph of consumers purchasing cycle.

In many areas of the industry the overall purchase rate of the products would go down, people will become frugal and cautious consumers. There would definitely be a hike noticed in the graph when it comes to consumption of sanitary products to maintain an adequate hygiene and for decontamination and also one would see a surge in the e-commerce websites selling essential goods as people will become more dependent on goods which are easily accessible via home delivery. One would definitely see a slug in the food industry, especially for food joints, restaurants and cafes etc. , it would be a hard time for them to keep up in the competitive game which the industry holds, as one will see a sink in the number of consumers consuming food products, they would rather prefer healthy home cooked food. The great rush would also be noticed in the number of app downloaders who would prefer online transactions via paytm, google pay and other modes instead of COD and paper money.

As Zomato and Swiggy partnered up with diverse brands to deliver food items and other essential –this caused a plunge in the number of consumers supporting their virtuous work which is shown in the graph.

One would notice a drastic change in consumer behavior where cautious consumers would prefer quality over quantity. People would start preferring private transport over public, they would go the extra mile to seek safety instead of taking a risk as all know Covid 19 won’t be leaving us any time soon. Most startups would have a hard time getting back on track eg- In Bangalore the government allowed 30% of the staff that is the essential staff to work from the office, but the employees denied the orders and instead chose to work from home putting their safety and security above all. In this case one can definitely say “Health is Wealth”.

It will take time for the revival of the economy and to see the surge in the growth rate as people won’t be easily persuaded even after being assured by the government that it is safe to go out. People would definitely be worried incase if a devastating economic crisis would come and hence would not be ready to invest a huge amount of their income in mighty assets like cars or houses or other big investments.

There would be a  drop noticed in the investment rate by consumers, people will not be investing their money in anything, it will take time for the consumers to gain confidence in the market and also to become an assured and hopeful  buyer again in the market, rather one would see a hike in the savings of each family in these crucial times as people will become more conscious and take precautions in the precarious and eye opening times which can occur in the near future and hence will look forward towards saving their money.

One can also notice a surge in app downloads be it newspapers or even apps which provide consumers with groceries and other essential and non-essential items. As the whole situation won’t normalize before August people will start being dependent on services which are offered at their doorstep, people will start becoming dependent on the facilities which companies have to offer from home and it will be the walk- in markets which will be affected the most and face huge losses as they  are dependent on consumers who shop from them on a daily basis . Eg – Most housing societies handover a list to the local grocery store which offers home delivery in the hard times of corona and actually find this facility to be quite comfortable. There has been a surge in the app downloads of applications like Grofers , Big Basket, Flipkart and Amazon etc.

The question to note here is has the situation surrounding corona virus and its effect on the economy and customers really been hyped which has caused fear to grip the minds of every individual or are we looking at a crisis which will be looming on for a long time and will create drastic changes all over the world.

Yemen is suffering the biggest humanitarian crisis and the world is silent

Yemen’s civil war is about to be eclipsed in a tragic manner. The fighting pits Iranian-backed Houthi rebels who took over the capital Sana’a and the north in 2015 against the Saudi- and UAE-backed, U.N.-recognized government of President Hadi. Another conflict pits the Hadi government against the Southern Transitional Council. Both are ongoing. Despite calls for ceasefires, the country remains sharply divided and now faces a potentially deadlier foe than the war—the COVID 19 pandemic.

The U.N.’s head of humanitarian operations in Yemen, Lisa Grande, says that Yemen faces a worst-case scenario. The death toll from the pandemic could “exceed the combined toll of war, disease, and hunger over the last five years (in Yemen).” That could be over 230,000 deaths according to a U.N.-commissioned report from the University of Denver.

Right now Yemen is facing the biggest humanitarian crisis in last 100 years with over 24 million people in need of aid. They are currently fighting off an

CHOLERA OUTBREAK – cholera epidemic in Yemen is going on since 2016, and gets worse everyday due to lack of public health sectors and aid ,as well as saudi lef air strikes on water systems and food infrastructure.

FAMINE – The famine in yemen is said to become the worst one in 100 years and continues to get worse every day due to the poor funding and saudi intervention.

CORONAVIRUS (pandemic) -there aren’t many testing kits and hospitals aren’t equipped with treating it. Basic necessities like masks and gloves are also not available . Thus making the situation even worse. Its said that covid-19 can remove Yemen from the maps all over the world. As its impact is devastating on a country which has been wracked by civil war at same same time . Saudi Arabia with support of US,UK ,France has been bombing Yemen in order to get rid oh the “Houthi rebels, targeting public infrastructure, water systems , schools etc.

According to reports every 10 minutes a child dies in Yemen because the healthcare system has essentially been collapsed .

The U.N. termed Yemen the world’s worst humanitarian crisis before the pandemic. Some 80 percent of the population—24.1 million people—required humanitarian assistance, with half on the brink of starvation. They are among the most vulnerable to the pandemic. In the meantime, the U.N.’s lack of funds means half-rations for 8.5 million hungry Yemenis. Around 2 million children under 5 years old are suffering from acute malnutrition.

Today, more than 20 million Yemenis need humanitarian assistance, a number greater than the entire population of the state of New York.

The numbers are staggering: 20 million Yemenis are food insecure, 19 million do not have access to clean water and sanitation, and the worst cholera outbreak in modern history has claimed more than 2,500 lives. According to the United Nations, 10 million people in Yemen are one step away from famine.1

HOW TO HELP ?

What parents need to teach their childern

Today we talk about Indian culture, we say that indians are forgetting indian culture and moving towards to adopt western culture. But do we know that what really is the core of Indian culture. No, we don’t even talk about that in real life, that are sacraments. Sacraments or sanskaar is the basic thing to be taught to kids because it is the root to the future development. A person is hollow without sacraments. A person can learn everything when they grows up, but not sacraments, it has to taught to a person from the very day, one is born.

In today’s world, it’s very common to see people disrespecting elders, abusing their parents, throwing them out of the house, fighting with their siblings over properties, killing eachother for money. All this is due to lack of proper sacraments, it’s not the fault of that person, it’s the fault of those parents who didn’t taught them the difference between wrong and right, who didn’t taught them to respect elders, who didn’t taught them to speak truth, who didn’t taught them that the most important thing in this world is not money & it is required just to ease our life, the most important thing is our loved ones, our family, their company.

The thing we need in our life is food, shelter and cloth, which a person can buy through earning by themselves, they don’t need their ancestors properties to live a happy life then why do they have to fight with their family members, their loved ones over those silly things.

In the will or can be say greed of becoming rich, a person takes risk, and if he succeeds then to stay at that position sacraments plays very important role because a person alone don’t succeeds, behind his success their is the hand of many other people who guided him, supported him, helped him, worked with him and to stay connected with them in the future also, one needs to give respect to them. And if he fails then not only he suffers his whole family suffers, the happy life which they have been living all vanishes just because of the greed of one.

Apart from that, today we see so many cases showing man’s inhumanity to mans, to animals, the reason is same, lack of sacraments because of which they can’t feel others pain and just do things to satisfy themselves, to make themselves happy, doesn’t care how much others are suffering, even if other person is dying they don’t care.
This is really shameful for parents whose childern promotes such kind of things.

So, it’s the first and foremost duty of parent to teach their childern, etiquettes, give proper sacraments to their child so they can become a better citizen, a better human, which world really needs because today’s world is full of human who don’t have humanity!

Keep yourself healthy in this monsoon

As monsoon arrived at some places and in some places it is arriving in some days. Most of us love this season. The feeling of rain with hot pakoras and chutney is just awesome. But this monsoon season also come with a lot of diseases like cough and cold, malaria, stomach infection, fever, typhiod, pneumonia etc, so it is necessary to prevent yourself and your family from these disease as it is very humid season so it helps in growth of many germs and mosquito breeding also takes place. So it is needed that you are careful about your diet as well as your surrounding.

FOODS WE SHOULD AVOID IN RAINY SEASON

  1. Leafy vegetables – It is true that leafy vegetable are important but we should avoid these in rainy season as grime and dampness present in them makes them highly susceptible to germs. So vegetables like spinach, cabbage and cauliflower should be avoided. Instead of that go for pungent vegetables like bitter gourd, ghiya, tori and tinde.
  2. Fresh juice and fruit from roadside vendor – In this season any fresh fruit thay have a long exposure in air should be avoided and roadside vendor keep fruit cut up in advance. So it come in contact with contaminated air. So it is good to prepare juice at home only. In home too, don’t leave cut fruits out for very long time lead to contamination.
  3. Sea food- Monsoon is the breeding season for fish and prawn. So they should be avoided this time. If you are craving for non veg, you can have chicken or mutton.
  4. Fried food- Fried food should be avoided in rainy season as high humid weather of monsoon causes digestion process to slow down, so eating fried food like pakodas, samosas can cause gastronomical complication like blotting and stomach upset.
  5. Fizzy drinks – It reduce mineral in our body which lead to reduction of enzyme activity. This is highly undesirable with an already weak digestive system. Instead of that drink a bottle of water or nimbu pani or warm beverages like ginger tea.

HOW TO KEEP YOURSELF HEALTHY

  • Avoid heavy meal and keep a light diet. Don’t eat roadside foods like chole bhature, pakoras, samosa etc.
  • Regularly do exercise. It helps to sweat our extra moisture and potentially harmful bacteria.
  • Personal hygiene is important in this season as the humid season is susceptible to germs. So use an anti-bacterial solution or soap to clean all the germs.
  • The symptoms of ear infection, flu, common cold and eye infection shouldn’t be ignored.
  • Keep drinking water to keep yourself hydrated even if you are not feeling thirsty.

Keep these things in mind so thay you can fully enjoy this season without worrying about your and your family’s health.

EFFECT OF BRANDING ON CUSTOMER PURCHASE DECISION

Branding is the process of giving a name or a sign or a symbol to a product.
One of the most important decisions that a marketer has to take in selling a product is in respect of branding. He/ She has to decide whether the firm’s product will be marketed under a brand name or a generic name.
Generic name refers to the name of the class of the product. If the products were sold by their generic names, it would be difficult for the marketers to distinguish their products from that of competitors. Therefore, most of the marketers give a name to their products, which helps in identifying and distinguishing their products from the competitors products.

As the traditional marketing tools and techniques has been replaced by the modern marketing tools and techniques and the number of factories of every good has now been increased, the producer tries to make their product different from other producer of the same product. These things give birth to a new marketing dimension and new era of marketing by the emergence of BRANDING.
In olden days, the brands were just a mark, sign or some sort of numbers to differentiate their goods. The brand then builds many function which creates the value in the mind of the customer. Like the advertisement, which is the function of the branding and it creates a unique association and memory link in the minds of customers on one side and on the other hand, it creates the demand for your goods and services as it attracts the customer, it creates awareness about your production and also educate the customer about the use of goods and services.

ADVANTAGES OF BRANDING
To the marketers

  1. Enables making product differentiation.
  2. Ease in introduction of new product.
  3. Differential pricing.
  4. Helps in advertising and display programs.
    To the customers
  5. Helps in product identification.
  6. Ensures quality.
  7. Status symbol.

CHARACTERISTICS OF A GOOD BRAND NAME

  1. A brand name should be short, easy to pronounce, spell, recognize and remember.
  2. A brand name should suggest the product’s benefits and qualities. It should be appropriate to the product’s function.
  3. A brand name should be distinctive.
  4. Chosen name should have staying power i.e., it should not het out of date.
  5. The brand name should be sufficiently versatile to accommodate new products, which are added to the product line.
  6. It should be adaptable to packaging or labelling requirements, to different advertising media and to different languages.
  7. It should be capable of being registered and protected legally.

Brand image is positive and creates many customers and build strong customers relationship with them and maintain loyalty. But if the brand image is negative, it will be harmful as there will be no customers repetition and retention. So, firm pays a huge investment on advertisement to maintain the brand image and brand equity management programs. As brand image creates perception in customer mind so after purchase, if cognitive dissonance occurs then there is a change in customer’s behavior.
Brand association will impact the consumer buying pattern and behavior. These associations will affect your decision positively if the brand image is positive. Brand loyalty reduce the cost for the firm to retain the customer forever. A loyal customer is helpful for the firm to create new customers.
Generally, brand has greater impact on consumer buying behavior. But at local level, behavior of customer also changes due to branded products and services. Consumer buying behavior is the study of actions of consumer towards planning, purchasing and consuming goods and services.
Consumer buying decision consists of 7 steps:

  1. Need recognition
  2. Information search
  3. Pre-purchase evaluation
  4. Choose alternative
  5. Purchase consumption
  6. Post consumption evaluation
  7. Feedback
Now, market has become too much competitive due to hyper competition in the market. The best way is to compete these conditions by developing a strong brand image. Basically, the key driver of brand equity is simply brand image. By easily remembering brand , quality production increases which leads to sales increase and makes mire profit. It is the best way which leads towards maximizing market share and to sustain competitive advantage and strong position in the market.

Keepers of the Dead

My mother always tells me about the devils and the angles, about the good and the bad people, about how we should do good deeds and always walk on the right path. Since, I have heard endless stories about ruthless people, about how has the world become so selfless and mean, staying in their comfort zones, not at all concerned about the outer world and sitting happily and scrolling feeds on Instagram, this signifies that instead of caring about each other, we just want to think about ourselves, about our money and other stuff, but recently I came across a story about the superhumans who are helping the needy people and helping them to attain peace.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh Seva Dal, an NGO in Delhi which is working as the guardians of the earth and performing the last rites of many who have no one else to do so with their own hands. This is not something which everyone can do, it needs guts to perform such tasks during this time of pain and suffering. They have also been distributing masks and food to the needy throughout the day and night.

In a place like Delhi, where people spend crores on marriages, there are some people who don’t have the right to die in peace, with a proper cremation or a burial, says Jitendra Singh Shunty, who founded the NGO in 1996.

Many people and NGO’s have come up to help the needy during this lockdown period, they have lend a helping hand and worked as saviors for these poor people who have lost all hope to live happily, but there are some who follow the wrong path, who have still not understood that this is the time where we have to unite together and help each other, they should not care about their wealth and life because one day we all have to leave this earth and rest in peace. So in order to rest in peace we should let others rest in peace. People like Jitendra Singh are doing a remarkable job. It is not easy to stand for others during this crisis. These self-sacrificing people also deserve praise, but unfortunately not many people know about this because media is busy covering useless topics. They are busy disturbing people who are in extreme agony.

Who are you?

You weren’t what you thought you were. You are not who you think you are. You will not going to be what you have thought you would be. It’s just a thought that would remain as a thought. Try to pose a question to yourself ‘Who are you’, ‘Why did you came to this world’, ‘what should you do before you no longer exist’.

Try to think for a while. Everything has a reason. You also have to do something with your life. There is a reason for your existence. Don’t try to leave this world without completing it. Don’t try to become what you think you could become. You will become what you have to become but not what you think you could become. Accept what you have become because its intended that way. Try to take everything in a positive way and move on. You can’t change what you can’t change. Try to be in change rather trying to change the change. Experience the change. Try to become what you could. If you became what you thought you would become then definitely that is not you became what you thought to be. It is coincidence of life. Life wanted to see you what it thought to be and that had matched with your thought of becoming.

Life is a game which makes us play the same way that it thought to be played. We are just the players who can’t olay the way we want to because our options are limited. The game is played in the way that it had to be played. We think that we can play the game the way we want to play and will be thinking the same until the end. We think that we can change the way the match is to be played but we can’t. But we never stop trying. This is the way the game is played. The life makes us believe that we could change the way the game is played and we try to do what we think that we could do but we never knew the game plan of the life is also same. They built up the hope within us and make a fake promise and make us try the way that had to be done. We didn’t do what we had to. Life made us do what it had to.

Don’t believe yourself blindly. The only thing that matters is hardwork. There is no shortcut to success. Don’t believe in smart work. The real smartness is believing in working hard rather than fooling yourself being smart. Don’t try to remember the things that had to be remembered because the things appear to be remembered because they made it look like the things that should be remembered. Similarly don’t try to look at the things the way they seemed to appear. If you want to be who you would be then definitely don’t try to be what you thought to be. Try to look the things in a different manner because it’s the only way to make the things appear normal. The normal appears to be normal only when the normal isn’t normal. The only way to do it is seeing normal to be abnormal.

You are here not for something that you thought. You might be here for the things that you thought you had to do. There is a right time for everything. You will get to know about your doing before you ought to do. You don’t know who you are but you will do what you had to. Your existence has a reason and the things that you had to do will be done before your realise your existence.

Why I blog?

So many people out there will start blog for so many reasons. I cannot speak for anyone else but myself, neither I can explain why I want to. There’s always been something in me that wanted to share and maybe motivate others, and that “something” was pointed out by you! I couldn’t be more thankful to you, you made me realize my talent and you pushed me towards it in every way possible. From winning first prize in Durga pooja when I was in seventh standard to this day you never stopped motivating me. Everyone helped me but you saw my ability.

I like to think, I have depth in me. I want to see a thing in as many ways as possible. I am a thousand thoughts per minute kind of a girl and I love it. This thing makes my soul happy and I shine. I have this tremendous amount of happy feeling knowing I can present myself in front of everyone with the power of word!

Do I know what I’m doing? Not really, I guess! And that’s the thing. Does anyone know what they are doing when they try something new? Maybe yes maybe no, but should it stop you! HELL NO! Everything is worth trying for not matter you failed or succeeded because it’s the journey that matters and you gain experience.

My reason for this post is to help anyone out there with a thought to try. Pursue whatever you are drawn to, even if you don’t know how to get started or if you make mistakes along the way. Mistakes create character and strength and not giving up the ultimate weapon. You will always have motivation in one or another way and sometimes it is in the form of a person like I had and I still have!

My answer to “why I blog?” will always be; “because I love to express myself” and it feels good to know people are reading you! I would like to thank everyone who helped me, motivated me throughout but you deserved an appreciation post. So, Thank YOU!
