It brings order to information about the chemical elements and helps chemists to understand why elements react as they do. The milestone in the development of the periodic table was set by the Russian chemist Dmitri Mendeleev in 1869, who is acknowledged as the ‘father’ of periodic table though the title is also claimed by the German scientist Lothar Meyer. Today, the periodic table organizes the elements by order of increasing atomic number.

Girl Online by Zoe Sugg

https://in.pinterest.com/

So I just got off reading this book & I can surely say, I’ve missed out a lot in my childhood, I guess. There’s this girl called Penny Porter, who I can much relate with. Quite of a private kind, 16-year-old schoolgirl, from Brighton, UK. A girl with fair skin, freckles on cheeks & frizzy auburn curls, which according to her were quite disliking features in her appearance. Her hobbies include photography & secretly crushing over the school’s heartthrob “Ollie”.

She’s kind of not-the-very-girly girl, has certain appearance insecurities, but on the contrary, prefers outfits of comfy & chill kinds. I would lie if I say I don’t love her. But most of all the part I could relate is she wrote blogs. Like a blog about herself, like a diary entry kinda stuff. Especially the kinds when she’s stuck in situations or facing a tough time to deal with. Gradually she had gained enough followers online, who she believed would help her cope with the situation.

One who believed herself to be a total walking disaster to perfect moments, and her fate or she, were no behind to prove it right. Her life in the very initial half was full of guilts and embarrassment. But one thing, that stayed constant was her fire brigade to all the wildfires in her life was her BFF “Elliot”.

Yet another lesson she learns in this journey is how to outgrow her childhood school best friend “Megan.” It’s sometimes okay to feel irritated & not the same way once you used to feel in the past. If smth or someone tends to hurt you, or cause you to disrupt your mental stability, or affects you in any way. It’s normal to leave that person. For, every one of us, is a subject to change in some or other phase of life & once or more. Each one of us is evolving in our best forms possible, to support ourselves for betterment. It may or may not bring out a positive effect on everyone out there. But, that’s ok sometimes. It doesn’t matter!

All of us make a circle of friends in this journey, of life. Some might dive thru you, even after all phases of changes you face & others might lose you in this ocean as you continuously hit a string of waves. Some might stay as per your expectations, others might leave out of the blue. I hope you just learn to stay contended with what & whom, you have beside you & cherish them moreover. Because life is too short my friend, don’t forget to appreciate all you are blessed with.

Back to the point now! And of course, at last, “Noah.” Penny’s ‘inciting incident’ right from New York, USA! Who happens to be a YouTube sensation too. A hopeless romantic & genuine guy, who leaves no stones unturned. Taking every opportunity he can, to make her feel special. And for very certain reasons, she has to look the best. All those dark-messy hair, chiseled cheekbones, fair, dark-eyed & all flattering ROCK-GOD-tastic features. A guy with a gloomy past, who finally finds his escape in her. And on the contrary, who makes Penny realize the concept of ‘self – love’ & most importantly makes her accept the way she is.

https://in.pinterest.com/

Moreover, who’s also in a relationship with “Leah Brown”, a chart-topper artist which she realizes later. This turns to call for a lot of turbulence in both their lives. But as we all know of romantic drama novels, will this will settle down too? Or will they break apart because of a couple of misunderstandings?

Another thing that grabbed my emotions was the part that, no matter what she always has her family’s back. Of course, the family is highly supportive unlike reality, like w most of us proly, but the thing is what really matters is how one reacts to a certain situation. And most definitely, I’m very impressed by the whole of her family. Not that I’m comparing, but I like the plot, whole of it.

This was yet another teenage romance novels, but TBH it was my first from a foreign author. Or moreover, I might say an English vlogger. For long I’ve been sticking to Indian authors only. Not that am a bookworm or so. But it’s just that I read very occasionally & of very cliché romantic kinds.

This might not be a perfect book review, but I just highlighted my moments of interest here. To me, books are a source of improving my vocab. & at times escape from the real world. But this particular novel, that I’ve been reading past a week now. The story happens to be so engrossing & mesmerizing, it happened to hover on my mind throughout the day. I absolutely loved it, except for the cliché ending. But that’s ok! What’s a romance novel without cliché terminations, right?

I could relate myself to the protagonist up to most extents.Another thing that I love about Penny, was her optimistic thoughts even when she was buried deep under troubles. Would like to highlight a certain part here. On her very last blog she says, ” Do smth that adds happiness to the world, & if you think it doesn’t, just quit performing it.” So my fellow mates, the next time you do something, I will be glad to know if you did this too & so will I. ‘Cause you never know what battles people are fighting through every day, adding pain to them & sins in your bucket does no good to either. So let’s focus on making this world a better place by sharing happiness.

So this was my blog about ‘Girl Online‘. If you did like this review & felt amused as much as I did while framing this review out, don’t forget to check out this spectacular novel ‘Girl Online‘ by Zoe Sugg in that case. I can guarantee you will be amazed by the twists & the hint of humour if you are bored this lockdown.

Mysteries (II)

Part one was : http://eduindexnews.com/2020/09/14/bermuda-triangle-and-other-mysteries/

• Indian rope trick

India is a land of countless mysteries that have puzzled the rest of the world. Perhaps the most enduring of these mysteries is that of the ‘Indian rope trick’. In the classic version of Indian rope trick, a rope is thrown into the air where it remains rigid. A young boy then climbs the rope, only to disappear at the top. The performer quickly follows him only to disappear when he reaches the top of the vertical rope! Shortly after, pieces of the boy’s body fall from the sky and land on the ground at the bottom of the rope. A few seconds later, the performer is seen climbing down the rope with a blood stained knife in his hand. On reaching firm ground, the performer utters a magic word and the rope falls limp to the ground. He then gathers up the pieces of the boy’s body and bundles them under a sheet. Within seconds, the sheet is lifted and the boy appears completely whole and unharmed! Travellers to India have described this amazing trick for over 600 years, but there is considerable doubt as to whether the trick is fact or fantasy.

• Shroud of Turin

The shroud of Turin is reputedly the cloth in which Jesus Christ was wrapped and buried. The shroud is 4.34 meters long and it bears the image of a man with wounds similar to those suffered by Jesus Christ. The shroud is unquestionably old. Its history is known from the year 1357, when it surfaced in the tiny village of Lirey, France. Today, it is kept in a silver chest in the Cathedral of Saint John, the Baptist in Turin, Italy, where it has been since 1578.

Does the shroud really show the face of Jesus? No one really knows. Although, many scientists have expressed doubts about the accuracy of the image, millions believe it to be divine and it has been a religious relic since the middle ages.

• Loch Ness monster

As far back as the 17th century, people have reported seeing a monster in the Loch Ness in Scotland. Loch means lake in Scotland. This is the largest freshwater lake in the UK. But, rather than being known for its size, it is famous for the mysterious legend of the Loch Ness monster or Nessie.

For thousands of years, people have reported catching glimpse of a huge creature. This creature is said to have a small head, a long neck and an immense body with flippers. Some people have shared photos they claim to have taken of this huge creature. The legend is so great that even scientists have been intrigued and many have conducted experiments and come up with theories to try and explain what people could be witnessing.

One explanation is that the monster could be a prehistoric creature called plesiosaur, an animal that has been considered to be extinct. Maybe one of these creatures managed to survive in the Loch Ness Lake, who knows?

Thank you for reading. Have a nice day!🌼

The Secret Wishlist by Preeti Shenoy

This is a review I wrote 3 years back when I guess I was kind of really obsessed with books & esp. novels of all. Preeti Shenoy is my favourite author of all time. Now if you’ve ever read any of her compositions, you’ll realize her highlight is to develop a story in a simple language filled with an effortless narrative style. Her style holds you and keeps you captive & her plot twists have to be mind-blowing. And right in the end, she just sneakily tugs your heartstrings as she explores matters close to hearts. So here it goes…

Ever since I’ve set out for this new obsession of mine “of being a bookworm” of not very late, realizing I’ve thoroughly enjoyed & loved every novel of her I’ve read. Be it “It happens for a reason” or “ Tea for two and a piece of cake” and some more proly I don’t remember anymore. But “Life is how you make it” stays to be my favourite of all times. Also happens to be my very first novel. But this particular novel “The Secret Wishlist” holds a different niche in my heart. For it has such an appealing story, causing a revolution in my heart, to flip my perspective by a total 180 degree split against the stereotypes set up by society. Amazing right?! And so is the story.

So I had to begin with this blogging with the very first review I have ever written.

Now this novel deals particularly with breaking through the cage of social evils, created by the Indian society for its inhabitants. The thought of extra-marital affair is what the novel describes to be fair. She makes her readers see through the situation by the vision of this lady called Diksha, who is stuck in this web of her duty & her call for her wants, dreams & wishes.

https://www.pexels.com/

After leading a happy married life with her husband Sandeep, for the past fifteen years. And they have a son, Abhay. Every day she just performs her duties without ever bothering about her feelings & expectations. She doesn’t seem to mind her mundane life either.

But then she now feels frustrated, irritated & tired. Recalling the past, about her little crime she committed when she was sixteen fills her with a mixture of emotions. Finally, this makes her family take a tough decision on her. Eventually made to marry at a very early age, Diksha repents now for her deeds. Feeling, being obedient to her family will simply wash off her sins committed in the past. But what she didn’t realize then, was it would cause her to only accumulate a dozen sacks filled with pain & grudges overtime.

Now a sudden event in her cousin’s life seems to jolt her out. This is the point, where she finally realizes & decides to take some control over her life & form a wishlist. A heart-to-heart conversation between the two, finally makes her jot down the things she dreams of doing. Stuffs like snorkeling, drinking booze & learning salsa.

https://www.pexels.com/

Diksha, who after approx. 18-years suddenly meets Ankit, her long lost love. Will she ever think of getting back to him? Will, she ever develop the courage to face the society, knowing the things she’s doing, the society disapproves of it? It’s the outlook of a woman, who is tired of acting as an obedient daughter, a befitting mother & a dutiful wife.

After fifteen years of her life when she has finally realized what she really wants from her life, by making her “The Secret Wishlist”, will she ever make it happen? Will she break through the cage of limitations in her heart and fly like a bird again? Well, to answer these questions, yes she does. Life leads her on a new way after this, ticking off each & every itinerary on her list. Naturally, this has lead her to succeed in developing courage & realizing her rights as a woman. She is very close to even realizing her dreams. But will she ever catch hold of her wishes? Will she be brave enough to confront Sandeep about her extramarital affair with Ankit? Moreover, will her parents approve of it?

Even after Ankit insisted on his company, to face her family members together, Diksha rejected his offer. Will she be able to handle the whole situation alone?
Well, for now, this is it. The rest of it is for me to know & you to find out.
So don’t forget to check out this exclusive novel  “The Secret Wishlist”
‘Cause my friend, trust me it’s more fascinating discovering things on your own.

E-Books:Why Is It A Thing Of Near Future

It has been emphasized time and again how reading books, fictional or factual is a rewarding hobby. With a diverse development of the personality, it also lets an individual explore physical and mental spaces that one might not be able to access in normal life. Let’s not even start with the ‘vocabulary development’ incentive. All and all, reading books are important. Agreed.

Also, it is not wrong to say that we are living through a technological revolution period. One of the most life changing products of this revolution is … take a guess? Of course, it’s the Internet. New job opportunities are created due to the presence of it. Food, fashion and fun is easier to conjure up than ever. And for the bibliophiles,  it is a blessing like no other! E-books are the new trend and rewarding one too…

Screen revolution

E-books are changing the reading scenes. And why not, for they have loads of pros in a multidimensional aspect. Some of the most obvious advantages are:

  • Easy to carry around: Tons and tons of books, sometimes a whole library, can be transported all around the globe in our personal devices.
  • Accessible to a new extent: Different genres can be shuffled and checked out at a swipe. Also, not able to find a book in the stores? Shopping sites and the whole Internet will come to the rescue. Just one should know where to look for, simultaneously being safe.
  • Saving the environment: The hardcover and paperback books, though have their own ‘feel’ and sentiments, are actually damaging the planet. And in more than one way. From cutting down virgin trees to chemical treatment done in complete production of the books, the damages done are far and many. That is totally avoided in the case of e-books
  • New innings for the new players: New author and worried where to try pitching your book? Then, e-book platforms are there to save the day. And the lucrative add-ons are a win-win. That includes more royalty, easy distribution, more varied audience to reach, lighting fast transportation and so on.
  • Free stuff: Who doesn’t like that? Psst… It might not always be the best option, morally or legally though. But still, diving to the depths of the Internet might land anyone a copy of their must-read list at absolutely no cost!
  • Cheaper than ever: Also, if the purchase is being made on any reading platform, there is a hundred and one percent chance that the book will be much cheaper than the hard bound copies.
  • Nothing can stop you: Darkness doesn’t matter anymore. The screens have enough light to shine and lighten up the words on their own.
  • No font is a small font: Do the words feel like ants and you have to read with scrunched eyebrows? That ain’t an issue with e-books, where zoom in and zoom out gives the optimum reading experience.
  • Indestructible: Your favourite book will never be worn down, even if it is read a thousand times. And iterating it again, easy to transport with worrying about any worry of substantial damage.

Too good to be?

All of this sounds so awesome, right? But every good thing comes at a price. So do e-books.

  • Optic fatigue and chronic side effects: Prolonged exposure leads to screen light to the whole optic system getting tired. Also, long term exposure has other more severe effects, which is partially indicated by certain studies.
  • Distribution in sleep cycle: Many people have their free time before going to bed. So, if reading books is their go to thing to do, then reading an e-book may not be the best thing they are doing before going to sleep. It is observed that screen light can tamper with one’s ability to fall asleep. Also, melatonin production might get affected due to this favourite pastime.
  • No sentimental attachment: Let’s be real with this. No e-book can imitate the feel of holding a brand new copy (a plus point if signed by the author) or can never compete with the smell of an old copy.

It is safe to say that the utility of e-books is up for debate for a long time to come. But whatever, as long as everyone gets to read, the world will be a happy space.

Phoenix- The Mythological Glory

https://in.pinterest.com/

A magnificent bird from ancient Egyptian, Arab & Greek mythology, that is believed to live for roughly 500 years or more. The tale dates back to 2500 years ago & its story began from ancient Egypt & Arabia. The myth goes as, when the old bird is tired, is flies back from Arabia to Egypt, The city of Sun.

The fabled bird builds a nest on the peak of The Temple of Sun by gathering some cinnamon twigs & resins. This is followed by the sun igniting the nest, causing the old Phoenix to die in the flames. A new young phoenix arises from the ashes of the burn & preserves the ashes of the predecessor in the egg of Myrrh. Later it deposits the egg on the altar of the Sun God & heads back to Arabia, to begin with, a new life cycle. Thus no ancient authority gave it any boundation of any life span. It is believed that at a certain time phase, there’s only one Phoenix in existence.

The legendary phoenix is a large & grand bird that is mostly believed to resemble an eagle. It is brilliantly coloured in shining reds, purples, and golden plumes as it is associated with the rising sun and fire. This mythical bird is a symbolism of renewal & resurrection. The concept represents a bunch of themes like the sun, time, the empire, life in the heavenly paradise, Christ, Mary, virginity, and the exceptional man.

Its namesake, Phoenix, Arizona, reminds modern Americans that the city stands on the same site as a vanished Native American civilization.

Some historic studies revealed that the Romans possessed quite an affection for the Phoenix. Their coins showed the Emperor’s face on one side while the Phoenix on the other. It is believed that the Phoenix itself represented Rome. As the bird stays eternal, so does the empire of Rome, with each new emperor.

Similarly in Islamic mythology, the phoenix was identified with the ʿanqāʾ, a huge mysterious bird, probably a heron that was created by God with all perfections but thereafter became a plague and was killed. The Egyptian Bennu, the Native American Thunderbird, the Russian Firebird, the Chinese Fèng Huáng & the Japanese Hō-ō are all believed to be associated with this mythical Greek bird.

In Egypt, Bennu symbolizes immortality & rebirth & was believed to be associated with the period of flooding of the Nile, bringing new wealth and fertility. While in Asia sighting of the phoenix was considered as a good sign that a wise leader has ascended to the throne and a new era has begun. It was representative of Chinese virtues: goodness, duty, propriety, kindness, and reliability. The palaces and temples are guarded by ceramic beasts that are believed to be all led by the phoenix.

Machiavelli

Niccolò Machiavelli was the first thinker to take an unequivocal stand in regard to the relationship between religion, morality and virtue on the one hand, and politics, on the other. A brief introduction is necessary to acquaint us with this highly debated person in all of political thinking.

Machiavelli was born in Florence in 1468 in a family that was traditionally seen as belonging to middle aristocracy. Machiavelli’s life became more relevant after the year 1498, when he, although barely 29, managed to secure an important job of chief of the second chancellery. He was one of the top policy-makers of the state. His famous work- The Prince was published in 1532. It explored the causes of the rise and fall of states and the factors for political success. It became a constant reference point and inspired different avenues in political research.

To comprehend the full importance of Machiavelli’s writings and their context, it is important to understand the series of political, social, cultural changes that began in the fourteenth century called the Renaissance. It signified a rebirth of the human spirit in the attainment of liberty, self-confidence and optimism. At the centre of the Renaissance was the emergence of the new human who was ambitious and relentless, he motivated by self-interest, and his aim was to seek glory and fame. Alongside the development of the modern individual was also the beginning of the modern state.

Machiavelli saw stable political authority and order as a basic criterion for social cohesion and moral regeneration. It was for this reason that he stressed the need for a unified polity. According to him, the individual was wicked, selfish and egoistic. He was fundamentally weak, ungrateful, fake, anxious to avoid danger and always greedy for gains. Thus, since the individual was lacking in honesty and justice, he was ready to act in a manner that was detrimental to the community.

Machiavelli’s state was a secular entity, with no relation to the church. It was independent and isolated, with no obligation to anything outside itself. A state was necessary, as it existed to fulfil the desire for security of person and property. His ideal was a republic.

Machiavelli’s attitude towards religion was thoroughly utilitarian. It was seen as a social force and did not have any spiritual connotation. As a social force, it played a pivotal role by inducing a kind of behaviour and conduct that was deemed necessary for the well-being of a society. Religion determined the social and ethical norms and values that governed human conduct and actions.

Machiavelli did not condone the use of immoral ways. To him, the end was important, which could be attained by any means. He contended that a ruler need not always adhere to conventional morality.  He was convinced that the use of violence although could be controlled, it cannot not be altogether eliminated. However, he recommended the cautious and judicious exercise of such violence, because otherwise it would create widespread distrust and hostility towards the government, which would result in instability.

Securitization

The notion of Securitization is among the most significant conceptual innovations to have emerged out of the debate on the nature of Security. It is associated with the Copenhagen School of security studies which is linked to the likes of Barry Buzan and Ole Wæver. However, overtime, the concept has also been taken up and adapted by those outside the realm of Copenhagen School.

What is securitization? The work of Copenhagen School and their initial development of the concept of securitization as the basis for a new framework of analysis can be understood as a fusion of two works. First being Buzan’s notion of different sectors of security and second, Wæver’s concept of securitization. Later authors have asked the question of how to define security in the context of the ever-broadening agenda. The all important question was- what is a security issue and what is not one? They argue that we need a principle to help answer this. Otherwise, it would become way too broad a concept and effectively.

To answer the question of what is a security issue and what is not a security issue, they say that security as a concept is fundamentally about survival. Therefore, an issue is a security issue when it is represented as possessing an existential threat to the survival of a referent object. This is the same basic principle that is found in the conventional notion of national security and defence. One of the ways to identify an existential threat is to see the response it generates because when an issue is presented as an existential threat, it legitimizes the use of exceptional political measures. For example: A State’s right to self-defence when under attack, it can legitimately use extraordinary measures that go beyond normal day-to-day politics. It can declare emergency and suspend or change its functions during it. An appropriate understanding of Securitization would thus be: shifting an issue from the realm of normal politics to that of emergency politics by presenting it as an existential threat.

One of the most striking implications of the Securitization Theory is that it believes that security need not always be a good thing. It states that more securitization need not always be better as securitization of an issue brings with it emergency politics where space and time for deliberation and participation is constricted and also results in a militarized mode of thinking. Thus, thinkers like Wæver argued that in most cases we should aim for Desecuritization. It refers to shifting an issue out of the realm of emergency politics back to the that of normal political or technical debate. He also suggests that the condition of Asecurity is optimal. It refers to a condition where occurrence of securitization is minimal or absent and issues, unless necessary, are not conceptualized in terms of security.

Securitization Theory has had significant impact on the way security is studied as it offers a clearly identifiable research agenda. It studies societal security as an alternative to focusing solely on the state. It offers an analytical framework and also a site of critical opportunity for thinking through the important questions of the nature of contemporary security politics.

Bhagawad Gita: The origin and abstract of all teachings

On the auspicious day of Teachers day- 5th September. Let’s take a moment to remember all the ancient learning we have learned or came across till now. Today is also the birthday of former President DrSarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He is also quoted as very famous teacher and hence today is also celebrated as Teachers day. Here we are taking a look at some of great teachings that were given to lord Krishna to great Arjuna.

Arjun were in dire confusion about the existence, death and soul. What is the ultimate goal, and many such questions and then Krishna showered him with the ultimate and most precious knowledge by teaching him

Arjun asked – “Those devotees who, ever steadfast, worship You after this fashion, and those others who worship the Imperishable and Unmanifest – which of these have greater knowledge of yoga?”

The Lord said: “Those who have fixed their minds on Me, and who, ever faith, worship Me – them do I hold to be perfect in yoga.”

“And those who have completely controlled their senses and are of even mind under all conditions and thus worship the Imperishable, the Ineffable, the Incomprehensible, the Immutable, the Unchanging, the Eternal – they devoted to the welfare of all beings, attain Me alone, and none else.

The task of those whose minds are set on the Unmanifest is more difficult; for the ideal of the Unmanifest is hard to attain for those who are embodied.”

“But those who consecrate all their actions to Me, regarding Me as the Supreme Goal, and who worship Me, meditating on Me with single-minded concentration – to them, whose minds are thus absorbed in Me, verily I become ere long, O Partha, the Saviour from the death-fraught ocean of the world.”

“Fix your mind on Me alone, rest your thoughts on Me alone, and in Me alone you will live hereafter. Of this there is no doubt.”

“If you are unable to do even this, then be self-controlled, surrender the fruit of all action, and take refuge in Me.”

“Knowledge is better than practice, and meditation is better than knowledge. Renunciation of the fruit of action is better than meditation; peace immediately follows such renunciation.”

“If you are unable to fix your mind steadily on Me, O Dhananjaya, then seek to reach me by the yoga of constant practice.”

“If you are incapable of constant practice, then devote yourself to My service. For even by rendering service to Me you will attain perfection.”

“He by whom the world is not afflicted and whom the world cannot afflict, he who is free from joy and anger, fear and anxiety – he is dear to Me.”

“He who is free from dependence, who is pure and prompt, unconcerned and untroubled, and who has renounced all undertakings – dear to Me is the man who is thus devoted to Me.”

“He who never hates any being and is friendly and compassionate to all, who is free from the feelings if “I” and “mine” and even-minded in pain and pleasure, who is forbearing, ever content, and steady in contemplation, who is self-controlled and possessed of firm conviction, and who has consecrated his mind and understanding to Me – dear to Me is the one who is thus devoted to Me.”

As we celebrate the Teacher’s day in 2020, let’s understand the perspective of students on how they expect teachers to be with them and how they want to cope up with teachers. We usually teach people around us somewhat to get them better at something. So, now we are doing the vice versa by understanding the prospective.

  • Listen to the students-Lord Krishna very patiently listened to Arjun when he was demotivated. Listening will help you know more about your student and the teacher student relationship also strengthens. While listening don’t judge your student, neither be angry on his works. Just understand that he is on his way of learning and he will commit mistakes.
  • Build a trust relationship with students-Lord Krishna and Arjuna depicted the best student teacher relationship where Arjuna had complete trust on Lord Krishna. Build a relationship with students so that after getting lessons from you they have a strong belief that the success is for sure and there is no point of defeat. Because at the end their success and their happiness is something that is going to give you immense satisfaction.
  • Answer with validation and reasoning-A student can’t believe in anything you say. He needs a proper reasoning of Why or Why not? Reasoning should be given on your own experience or based on some logic. Find different creative ways of answering a problem. A student should not be taught to just assume things and answers should not just be imposed on him without proper validation and logic. In Bhagawad Gita, Lord Krishna put his points with full validation and reasoning and convinced Arjuna in every possible way.
  • Satiate the hunger of inquisitive minds-A teacher should feel very enthusiastic in answering the inquisitive minds and should not be irritated if the student asks more questions. Lord Krishna very patiently answered all questions that were arising in the mind of Arjuna.

When a parent sends their children to school, they are actually sending their dreams to you to come true and fulfilling somebody’s dream is a great job.

One Rule…can end up corruption by 70%

There are many people who talks about it , and few screams and fight to end it…………but since ages, it’s not being possible to make a difference, and still have not got independence from it’s foul smell, where someone dwelling in it , without sense. But, should we live in this rut forever ?…And to accept ourselves as incapable of destroying it, and to live like a looser.

I have a one brilliant rule, if it comes into play that undoubtedly changes the fate of the country. Before i reveal it, let us know why this rule works besides many measures being taken were failing since decades.
The main feasible condition for corruption, is lack of surveillance and awareness among people, and how it greatly damages our standard of living. So,creating awareness among all the people might sometimes work, but most of the time it rewards us with great disappointment. because, India has biggest population, it’s hard to make all of us to bring on to one platform with one voice.

But, there was no dearth of solution, if we think and the first said idea is………….
This idea works with collection of students, professors, university bodies, govt anti corruption and adminstrative bodies , police.
You may wonder that how, could you connect students, professors with police?
The bitter fact is, about 90% of indian passouts graduates are unskilled according to the several esteemed surveys. The main reason for it is, not having a platform to access practical knowledge, we have severe shortage of internship opportunities and real time project works. This problem can also be indirectly solved by our main idea.

The govt should make project works mandatory and give them more importance in their course, some may refrain with this idea…but if we couldn’t able to perform on projects itself, how can we able to sustain after getting to global market; initially it might be hard, but with support of our peer and lecturers we can excel gradually.
Now, we all should be assigned project works by our colleges in collaboration with national education body (now MHRD), only on all governmental assets and organisations….here comes a game changing shot. But, how is it possible?

The government must allow all the students to study governmental organisations, properties, and projects build by them.(let’s say a dam, hospital etc…). This helps to make an assessment for the quality of work being done in various govt fields and organisations. The reports submitted by students can be used by anti corruption agencies and help them to understand the situation at very ground level. As it’s not possible for anti corruption agencies to keep an eye over every inch of the whole country, they can use this student community as a strongest trustworthy network as they don’t provide false reports, if in case; the professor and the whole college who guided him will be felt guilt, and leads to their lack of reputation in society. so, this locking system can help students ro not provide false reports.

All the students must be allotted some projects on live aspects(like dams, hospitals ,industries built and being run by govt) in their respective fields, and we have to start analyzing their maintenance and prepare and submit the report of it’s quality and working efficiency. Here itself, we get an opportunity to dig up the flaws went up and to make a change by preparing efficient reports of the atrocities made and corruption that underwent.

For say, i’m a student of civil engineering, got a project to understand about kaleshwaram dam and have to submit report on it. I started by when it has built, and how much cost it took, what are the materials used in it, what are the technologies use in it, why does the walls of the dam is being getting cracks just after 5 years of its inauguration, what is the reason for recent fire accident……..when i submit the detail report to the college, I am gonna get my marks
The above said will be the work of every student in every field, not only engineering also health, law, agriculture, finance and every field.
Instead the anti corruption bureau working on intensive ground level, they can collect all the project reports form all colleges and will be easier for them to take action, by using the information.
As, it is a real time project, the professor of individual group must take care of no flaws and genuinity of information, as it will be a major source for higher govt authorities to take action.
In simple, students has to set on to study the past govt projects and organisations; and the detailed project reports and student community acts as a strong surveillance framework and it bring out the corruptions of the past as well as prevents the corruptions of the future. This idea, if it honed by the bright minds of our country, it can surely be an influential act.

MIDNIGHT SUN – The Movie Review

https://www.pinterest.co.uk/pin/112027109501875790/

Cast :

Be it ‘ Me Before You’ ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ or ‘Five Feet Apart’ all these good old sad romantics follow the same basic storyline. But I guess maybe because I’ve watched this genre after quite long so I just went away with the flow & am finally reviewing this movie now.

Portraying Katie Price this story is set all around her life. She has this rare genomic condition called Xeroderma pigmentosum (XP.) So this meant even the slightest bit of sunrays hitting her skin could make it fatal for her to live. Thus making her homebound since childhood & take homeschooling & other online courses rather than actually attending schools like other normal children of her age. In fact, she was also called a ‘vampire’ back in her childhood by her school friends. This is when she finds her BFF Morgan, who’s always by her side. Sharing their every soul-to-soul talks with each other.

Over time she got used to all this, as she’s the kind who accepts fate with open arms & a smile on her face however dire the situation be. This optimistic & carefree attitude is what I absolutely loved about her. With time passing by she had learned how to play the guitar & sing songs. So one such night, at her graduation her father Jack gifted Katie her mother’s guitar. At this, this couldn’t contain her excitement & headed out to the station to play it.

This is where she meets Charlie, her only crush she has admired all her life. This couldn’t be a dream right? She was actually face to face with the guy today. Charlie used to be a part of her schedule as she used to spend hours gazing at him through her window & stalking on social media. Confused & utterly shy, she leaves the place in haste. This is when mesmerized Charlie finds a diary she left behind, that she forgot in a hurry.

Finally, this results in their second meet, as Morgan & Charlie together setup this little prank on her. This time she finally holds herself together & has some normal conversation with him. This further leads them to more & more hangouts.

Of course, with time both of them grow to like each other more & more. The interesting part is their dates used to be at night, due to obvious reasons. But all this long, Katie didn’t confront Charlie. She used to bring out some lame excuse to not deal with the details about it. As she believed, confronting that will make her life more like a ‘disease’ than a ‘normal human.’

One fine night, when they were casually hanging a serious incident happened. This led Charlie to actually learn the truth thus beans were spilled. Being this concerned & serious boyfriend that he was, he made a research on the disease to collect every speck of information he could. Katie now had started shoving him off because she couldn’t see him in pain.

This is when Dr Fleming paid her dad a visit. Understanding the severity of the situation, & helplessly fish out ways & means for the unavailable cure Jack breaks up into sobs. The doctor informs him of how her brain had now begun disintegrating & the research studies had stopped due to no funding. As Jack breaks apart saying “Was it for all these days for him to learn, a dad raising his daughter all these years, will one fine day die. Albeit knowing very well there’s no cure to this. It’s heartbreaking to lose your child & finally coming in the face with reality.”

One fine day, a certain situation or a string of those, caused her dad to realize the growing affection between the two. So, he finally made the two meet. At this point I thought, Charlie could have easily lost his mind. But the way he still holds his sanity in place after meeting her knowing she concealed the truth is a matter of applause.

In the end, she finally lives her heart out with Charlie. Spending the most beautiful last summer of her life. This made me realize somehow, that there’s a sacrifice in life every time you want something bad. Just when she was compromising with her living all this long, she had her life in return. And vice versa.

Sadly, this followed to her tragic demise, leaving her dad all alone. Her boyfriend was now set out to begin his new school in Brooklyn, for he had got his scholarship there. But what touched my heart the most was how both of them fulfilled each other’s incomplete dreams & wishes all this while. Unlike most of these rugged dramas these days, their dates simply meant fulfilling each other’s dreams & wishes and living life up to the most.

Even after she left, she had made sure to fulfill his dreams. The best part was when her song got viral. This song was called the “Charlie’s song” by Katie Price. Charlie just like any other night had taken Katie, to realize another of her dream & made her sing at a studio to record. And it suddenly went viral after her demise, which throws a …. of joy to Charlie & Jack.

All the songs in the movie are exceptionally phenomenal imbibed with deep meanings. So if you are the one who likes these tear-jerker movies, it’s sure to send chills to down your spine. Also, don’t forget to bring your tissues along.

Internet for aspiring engineers

Engineering is being one of the most popular courses since few decades, especially in India. But, the idea of exactly what a engineer is ?.. lacking among most of us. That’s ok, not a problem…..because our’s is a nation, where most of the people recently got being aware about education. So, it takes sometime to build strong educational infrastructure and awareness among us. This process, can be done faster only when all of us actively take up initiatives on our own, which indirectly affects the whole nation’s growth.

Internet been a great game changer, without which the technology evolution would be infinitesimally small. Do you know, India is providing internet at very cheap price than any other countries in the world. So,we are really lucky to have easy access to such powerful resource. So, i will get started to atleast introduce you with one interesting thing and you will start using it, when necessary.

Engineering definitely demands creativity and also knowledge. There are humongous amount of resources available, but sometimes only few delivers the best content and meets our requirements. I just want to give you a few names of websites to find about your academics. But, engineers should also have sound knowledge of basics, mostly of class 11 and class 12, through only helps us to understand further concepts. Toppr is one the best website provides you with free content,in a creative way. Embibe, will be a best source for solving questions and provide you with analytical reports and schedules. Vedantu,byjus,unacademy,askiitians,brilliant.org are the other few that provides various articles on individual topics.

Now, to getting onto the engineering academics, there are no specific websites that fulfills all of your interest, because various colleges design curriculum in their own way. But, The knowledge we learn always gives us an extra edge over others. It is always necessary to follow up the trends of education and industrial requirements. so, we have to follow some premium resources, and for us it’s better to refer the websites and social pages of iits, nits and government organisations. They always be helpful to measure our position nationally.

khan academy, edx, coursera, futurelearn, cisco will be some best resources to learn courses for free, but can obtain certificate by paying some money after completion of your course. Nptel is one of the best resource available to all, and also can value your learning by getting certificate at very reasonable pay, after giving a test.

here comes up with good youtube channels…iisc banglore, 3blue1brown,crashcourse, Neso academy, Tutorial point, mathsindepth, allaboutelectronics, letslearn,math-u- see, nptel, gradeup, seeker, IMA video, quanta magazine are few channels.

And there were few channels that able to improve your lifestyle, and are mike boyd, wall street journal, quint, mind your decisions, mind valley, momspresso, tedx, fightthenewdrug,cs dojo, kodegod, timelabpro, fearless soul, phlearn and many more.

There is always many more to explore in your own style, but every resource above directs towards various perspectives. pdfdrive, internet archive, z-library for books and for basic programming w3schools, tutorialpoint, javatpoint, sololearn, programiz, begineersbook.com and others.

Benefits of reading a book

Reading can easily become the most favourite recreational activity of children and even adults. One who reads often finds a friend in books. Some of the benefits of reading are-
1)Enriches vocabulary- the habit of reading enriches your vocabulary stock. Reading different books of different genres helps to build up your stock of vocabulary, ultimately helping you write better and become more creative. If you love creative writing, then the habit of reading is a must.

SPIRITUALITY :)

SPIRITUALITY IS THE PROCESS OF KNOWING YOURSELF MORE , IMPROVING YOU , ACCEPTING YOUR FLAWS AND MEET THE GLOWING YOU . IT FILLS THE VOIDS IN YOU WITH OPTIMISM , ALIVE YOUR HEART WITH PEACE AND RELAX YOUR MIND .

IT IS JUST LIKE YOU ARE MEETING YOUR SOUL AND RELISHING THE MOMENTS . THIS WORLD IS FULL OF NEGATIVITY , JEALOUSY AND POLLUTED MINDS , WHICH HAS LED MOST OF US IN DISTRESS . IT HAS SADDENED US FROM INSIDE AND FILLED OUR HEART AND MIND WITH FEAR .

THERE IS A THING WHICH I HAVE NOTICED MANY TIMES , IN EVERY PERSON I MEET , IS THE THINKING OF ‘ YOU ARE COOL , IF YOU DON’T BELEIVE IN GOD ‘ , AND PEOPLE ARE FOLLOWING THIS METHDOLOGY TO OUTSHINE THEM AND CREATE AN IMAGE OF ‘ PRO ‘ IN FRONT OF OTHERS . I DON’T WHAT THEY GET BY DOING SO , BUT , I KNOW THAT IT IS JUST A SATISFACTION AND HAPPINESS FOR FEW MOMENTS THAT FADES AWAY AND THE REALITY SOLIDIFIES .

THE PEOPLE WHO BELEIVES IN SPIRITUALITY , ARE THE ONES WHO LIVE IN REALITY . THEY ARE EMOTIONAL BUT NOT WEAK . THEY KNOW BIRHT AND DEATH ARE PRE DECIDED , WHT THEY HAVE TO DO IS JUST GOOD DEEDS TO GET THE REWARDS IN THEIR AFTER LIFE . ABOUT THOSE WHO THINK THAT SPIRITUALITY TARNISHES THEIR IMAGE , I THINK THEY HAVE ALEARDY TARNISHED THEIR IMAGE .

IN THE PROCESS OF BEING COOL , THEY FORGET THEMSELVES , THEIR HAPPINESS AND TRY TO IMPRESS OTHERS AND MAKE OTHERS HAPPY . AND YES ! , THIS MAY ENGAGE THEM IN BAD COMPANY.

I AM SPIRITUAL , YES ! I BELEIVE IN GOD BUT THAT DOES N’T MEAN IT IS BLOWING ME AWAY FROM THE PRESENT WORLD . THE DIFFRENCE BETWEEN ME AND THEM , IT CAN BE YOU AND THEM ALSO NO OFFENCE , IS THAT I KNOW THE ART OF LIVING AND HOW TO STAY HAPPY AND AT PEACE EVEN IN MY DARKEST OF TIMES . I DON’T NEED ANY OTHER ADDICTION TO FIGHT WITH NEGATIVITY AROUND . I HAVE AN ATTACHMENT WITH GOD , STANDING LIKE A WALL IN BETWEEN , PROTECTING ME FROM THIS EVIL WORLD WITHOUT ANY EFFORTS . MOST OF THE PEOPLE GIVE ME WEIRD EXPRESSIONS SEEING ME AS A SPIRITUAL SOUL AND THE FUNNIEST PART IS I FEEL PETTY WHEN I SEE THEIR CONDITION OF LIFE AND PRAY HELP FOR THEM TO GOD , THAT IS THE ART OF POSITIVITY , NOT EVERYONE IS DESTINED TO BE A PART OF .

PEOPLE FREQUENTLY ASK ME HOW ARE YOU SO CALM AND COMPOSED ? THIS IS SO MUCH DIIFICULT SITUATON FOR YOU ( IF THERE IS ANY LETS ASSUME ) STILL YOU ARE IN PEACE AND KNOW THE END WILL ALWAYS BE GOOD . THEY ARE SURPRISED TO SEE ME LIKE THIS . I SAY ,” I BELEIVE IN MY EFFORTS AND MY LORD , HE HAS SEEN ME TRYING , HE KNOWS ALL . IF ANYTHING BAD HAPPENED , IT WILL TEACH ME A LESSON FOR LIFE AND IF ANYTHING GOOD HAPPENED , IT WILL GIVE ME THE POSITIVITY THAT WHATEVER I HAVE DONE TILL NOW , MY ACTIONS ARE LOVED BY GOD . ”

LET ME TELL YOU ONE CERTAIN THING GOD LOVES US ALL , EVERY ACTION HE TAKES ON US IS THE EVIDENCE THAT PROVES HE LOVES US , BECAUSE HIS ACTIONS ALWAYS TEACH US PROMINENT LESSONS .

THIS IS THE POWER OF SPIRITUALITY !!
