Aim of life

It is a well-known fact that a person without an aim is a person without a life. All the creatures in this universe have one or other specific aim. It is common for all things. As the human is the best creature among them all, he has given a right to select that what he wants to do in his life. The mindset of each and every person is of its own type. Therefore, his aim of life will also be different from others.

Importance of aim in life

There is a popular saying that a man without an aim is like an aim without a rudder. It means a ship without rudder faces danger. Thus similarly a man without aim cannot reach towards his goal of life. He stumbles in his way of life.

So every person must have a definite aim. So, the aim of life is to give your life a purpose and a meaning. Certainly, it is done by finding out what truly matters to you. Your purpose is to create more joy in life or to show others how you can live your life in the best possible manner.

How to Choose the right Aim of life?

It is the responsibility of the parents and the teachers to persuade their wards to select a profession according to their aptitude. Thus one can say that the right aim means right life and the wrong aim means wrong life. So, we should be very cautious while deciding on our aim.

Certainly, this is the most difficult problem that a young man faces is the selection of a profession.  If a person does not choose his aim rightly, he will be always misfitted in his life. Thus, the best aim would be for one in which one feels happy always and he can do something worthwhile. Also at the same time, he assures about bright prospects in life.

Everyone should set a goal which is personal to him and will always inspire to reach new heights. Therefore, don’t follow the mob and mimic the ambitions of friends.

Breif About Movie

Lakshya is a patriotic movie launched in 2004. The movie showcase how an aimless person who under the influence of his friend joined Army Academy. He ran away due to the frequent punishments he received there but returned with an aim of joining army. Due to his efforts in the Academy he joined the army where he led a team of 12 army officers and soldiers to a successful clash to defeat the Infiltrators and re acquire the territory occupied by them.

Goal Orientation

“Lakshya” as the name of the movie suggests the movie revolves around the value of having a goal in the life. Whether it be an individual, group, organisation all requires an aim to work upon. The protagonist of this film (Karan) was a lazy and aimless young man who has no goals for his future. He joined a Military Academy under the influence of his friend and as a result he ran away from the academy due to the punishments he had to face due to his undisciplined and lazy attitude. But after he firmly decided to join the army  he returns, takes his punishment, becomes a disciplined and focused officer cadet and eventually commissions into the Army. 

Believe in Yourself

To achieve a goal a person, need to have faith in himself/herself that  he/she can achieve the goal and is ready to face all the challenges and hurdles that act as a barrier in the same. The person should follow the policy that “ I can, and I will.”

When a person builds a believe in himself/herself then this believe acts as a self motivation which plays a crucial role in achieving the individual goals and the goals of the organisation with whom he/she is associated.

 In the movie the proctor along with other team members were able to climb a 1000-foot-high rock cliff of the mountain because of the determination and the self believe they proved that nothing is impossible.

Team Spirit

A single person can’t achieve an organisational goal on his own. He requires the support , unity and co-ordination of all his team members whether it be his senior or sub-ordinates. All the efforts are worthless if the aim is not achieved. A single person can never be expert in all the fields and requires the knowledge and experience of other members to achieve the goal. This team spirit helps to raise new and innovative ideas to make the path of achieving goal effective and efficient. It also helps to improve the interpersonal relationships between the employees of an organisation which is crucial for best output from an employee.

Henri Fayol in one of his Principles Of Management i.e. in the Principle of “Esprit De Corps” defines  that an organization must make every effort to maintain group cohesion i.e. a feeling of unity in the organization. He adds that a conflict in the team member and division of team due to conflict is a serious issue and needs to be resolved at priority to achieve the objective of an organization. 

In the movie a team of 12 army officers and soldiers had a faith in each other and had a feeling of unity which helped them to defeat the infiltrators

Someone rightly said, ‘‘If you don’t face any problem in a day, that means you are on a wrong path’’ We often say this proverb about struggles of life. Life is like a roller-coaster, it excites with all those fun frolic jovial moments to distressing moments in our life. Life is incomplete without failure and struggles.

Be a man with honesty and hard work, as it will give us a fruitful life ahead. “A man who struggles will always be the most ideal person in his life”. Life is full of opportunities and risks. In the process of achieving something we all have to sacrifice something, either it is your friends, family, or your loved ones.

‘‘Life is a tree, the more you give efforts by watering your knowledge, skills, talent, and hard work, the more successful we will be in our life.“

There’s isn’t anything in the whole universe that we are not capable of! We will surely meet people in this process of our life who will let us demoralize or maybe manipulate us from our originality.

Always remember at the end of the day, it only you! There is no we, no us, and no everyone. Either it is a professional or personal life, never let yourself down, in the meantime never lose yourself! The most precious thing in the whole world is yourself, we all are unique in our own ways, our originality is the reason why we are existing.

To reach the destinations, one should pull off, all the hurdles by keeping faith in themselves. Life is really beautiful if you are strong enough to face the harsh reality. It’s not a fairy tale, where we are dependent on someone, there is no “The one”. It is you and your hard work!

Your endurance and your perseverance will make you a man of strength.

“Hope” is one of the most crucial elements presents in everyone which will always make you feel alive. To ponder or to achieve any kind of destination a hope is really important one should have within themselves.

Following your dreams and career doesn’t mean that one should be egocentric or selfish! Taking care of yourselves and your loved ones is really important. because we should make a world full of love and belongingness. Loving yourself is the foremost thing which is needed in any kind of dream to conquer! If one doesn’t have any self-confidence in themselves then, no goal can be achieved!

In the space of the difficult roads (i.e.; tour struggles, sufferings, breakdowns) and beautiful destination (your end goal), there is always a transparent line where your happiness is invisible. It is visible to only one who wants to enjoy their lives.

Any Path of life becomes more Fascinating if it has all emotions amalgamated in this beautiful journey of struggle and sacrifices. At the end of the destination, one should always be true to themselves because self-honesty will make us a man of worth. Remember we all are humans with imperfectness inscribed within us since we are born, so we all have certain faults that sometimes affect our struggling life, but one should always remember that the perfect life will never be as great if life has imperfectness in it. So, live your life according to yourself, because ultimately it is you and your beautiful destination!
