How to be a good friend

Being a good friend isn’t always easy, but taking the time to nurture a lasting friendship is worth every ounce of effort. Good friendships provide strength, happiness, and meaning in ways that social media or striving for popularity cannot. All true friendships are built on mutual trust and support, so whether you’re looking to make new, quality friendships or improve your existing ones, there are things you can do to be a good friend to others.
Some of the reason why we aren’t collectively so good at friendship is that we don’t have a clear idea of what a really good friend might be like. Holding a good friend isn’t always easy, but taking the time to nurture a constant friendship is worth every ounce of effort. some times Don’t wait for people to be friendly.
Show them how Good friendships provide strength, happiness, and meaning in ways that social media or striving for popularity cannot. Sometimes our actions and the words that escape our mouths stop going through a filter. All true friendships are built on mutual trust and support, so whether you’re looking to make new, quality friendships or improve your existing ones, there are things you can do to be a good friend to others.
1.We need meaningful relationships with other people. Not everyone should be a close friend, but it is integral to our happiness that we show people who we really are, allow ourselves to get to know them in return, and then give each other small or big tasks. Remind through what we care about.
2.Be honest. Keep your promises and do what you are saying. be reliable. Nobody wants to befriend someone who lies. And lies are always a way of coming to light. Also, friends will tell each other the truth, no matter how difficult it is.
3.Be reliable. Being trustworthy is one of the most important aspects of being a good friend. Your friend will need you to support, especially during difficult times. No one wants to befriend someone who is not really interested in them. It is difficult to trust a person who does not behave in a consistent and reliable manner.
4.Apologize when you have made a mistake. If you want your friends to believe in you, you cannot act as if you are innocent. If you know you made a mistake, own it instead of denying it.
5.Keep their secrets. Prove yourself a reliable person who will protect your secrets with your life. A good way to prove you are trustworthy is to share some of your secrets with your friends.
6.Encourage your friend. Everyone needs encouragement. Find specific ways to encourage your friend. Even in the depths of their struggles, show them what makes you look special about them and are willing to take them when they are depressed or feel that life is pressuring them from all sides.
7.Always put in your best efforts. When they ask for your opinion or help with something that has meaning. This means that they understand the value you think. If someone writes an essay that helps you proofread or revise it, go the extra mile. Bust out a red pen and start marking it as crazy. Show them that you are investing the way you are. This means that when it comes to your friends, half-baked things never happen.
8.Stay in touch. Life moves forward and everyone has their own thing. Sure, it may be easier for you to pick up from where you left off, but it is easier to lose contact altogether. It tries to maintain a good friendship, especially when the physical distance is too much. It is a relationship that takes both sides to work.
9.Learn to forgive. If you want your friendship to last, you should be able to forgive your friend and move on. If you keep a complaint and let your bitterness and resentment grow, you will not be able to move forward. Accept that no man is perfect and if your friend sincerely apologizes and if they have not done anything terrible, you should pursue it
10.Accept your friend who they are. To make your friendship a success, you should not try to change your friend or your friend to see the world from your perspective. Celebrate what makes your friend (and you) unique! If you are conservative and your friend is liberal, then accept instead of trying to argue about it all the time.
11.Be happy for them. We all get caught up in our lives and forget to appreciate it. Sure, we know we care, but if you don’t show it, it’s hard for the other person to know you. It is easy to tell when someone is dishonest. “Wow, I’m so happy for you,” with a non-carious face, not very confident. Invest in your successes and show in your facial expressions that you are really happy.
■A good friend likes us in ways we simply cannot like ourselves. Generally, we are alive to our own shortcomings. It is more obvious from our point of view than what is disappointing or attractive to us. Disappointing or attractive because we need a friend. We are responsible for being very friendly to ourselves, we think that being a true friend is
■Should be with whom we spend a lot of time, but in fact, the ideal other becomes a part of us, we see them internally as they smile the way they pause or enthusiastically they make our brain Continue even when we are not in touch for a while or when they are far away a good friend is always with us.

How does mobile games finds you relief?

I wasn’t one to believe that playing popular interactive (group) mobile games were a type that proves to be helpful to anyone, rather a huge waste of time that could be invested in something constructive. Over the course of the Pandemic with the certain and every persistent highs and lows of my Mental Health, it has presented this sort of way to let go of what is around me, and calm myself down.

This definitely comes with an impact for the fact that we may never know to just shut down and stop playing your choice game, which leads to string of another problem, addiction being top of that. Here, our smartphones may be smart enough to help us; by setting app limits, like so, if you need to use your favourite app for 60 minutes you can do so, and then your phones may shut the app off for the day; a great way to imply restraints in our life. A consistent and not addictive pattern of using applications makes you not enslaved to it, and consistency is always a good practice with regard to struggles with Mental Balance.

But what if your parents get behind, nagging at you ? Oh.. yes they will be nagging, thus creating boundaries with your device becomes prominent also once in a while improving our small talk skills and conversing healthily with our family or people around us, is certainly refreshing, it helps in being emotionally more available and present and aware of someones problem more respectfully because you yourself are very clearheaded.

But probably this still won’t be convincing, to someone who believe to strongly detach themselves from such ‘juvenile’ apps because a common misconception is that the violent video games are detrimental but, these games, are just mere stimulants, not necessarily violent, probably some word puzzle that would help you rewind after a stressful, tiresome day.

However we all know how tech companies are capitalising on such gas production, which wants you to be hooked, but we need to acknowledge the fact that these games can’t have us hooked unless we consent to it, give them the power to it, be subservient to it, which we’ll not be, because we are above and better than that, and this is something each one of us needs to know and fundamentally give our selves credit for it.

Therefore from self-help to self-restraint and even an enabler, such moderated use, of any application, not just games, but anything in general, would always be useful. The key to it is, to not let anything overrule you, and you’re good to go.

North Delhi Municipal Corporation has given another reason to tourists to visit the Walled City in near future by intensifying work on a heritage park located next to the Parade Ground parking lot.

While visiting Jama Masjid and Red Fort, visitors can come and relax there. Apart from developing the lawn, there will be planting saplings of indigenous trees, like amaltas, peepal and banyan. To make the place look elegant at night, the Corporation has planned to install artistic lampposts in the corridors. For giving easy access, pavements will be constructed around the park.

Iron man of india

The word “Iron” signifies unity and strength. In 1947, the partition of British India into two independent dominions: India and Pakistan took place. In India, there were many small princely states, and the princes of these states decided to separate from India and form their own separate countries. It was a problem for the Indian government as there was a real chance of India getting divided into further small countries. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel assessed this situation and stepped in. He and his team did a lot of hard work to make the princes of the states sign the merger agreement to merge their states into the Indian territory. For all these efforts, he got the title of the “Iron Man of India” as he kept Indian states united in such a difficult time.

Why is Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel called 'Iron Man of India'? - Quora
SARDAR VALLABHBHAI PATEL

Sardar Vallabhbhai Jhaverbhai Patel, born on 31 October 1875, popularly known as Sardar Patel, was an Indian statesman. He served as the First Deputy Prime Minister of India. He was an Indian barrister and a senior leader of the Indian National Congress who played a leading role in the country’s struggle for independence and guided its integration into a united, independent nation. He was one of the conservative members of the Indian National Congress. He acted as Home Minister during the political integration of India and the India-Pakistan war of 1947.

As the first Home Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of India, Patel organized relief efforts for refugees fleeing to Punjab and Delhi from Pakistan and worked to restore peace. He led the task of forging a united India, successfully integrating into the newly independent nation those British colonial provinces that formed the Dominion of India. Besides those provinces that had been under direct British rule, approximately 565 self-governing princely states had been released from British rule by the Indian Independence Act of 1947. Patel persuaded almost every princely state to accede to India. His commitment to national integration in the newly independent country was total and uncompromising, earning him the sobriquet “Iron Man of India”. He is also remembered as the “patron saint of India’s civil servants” for having established the modern all-India service system. He is also called the “Unifier of India”.

ROLE OF PATEL DURING PARTITION

As the first Home Minister, Patel played the key role in the integration of the princely states into the Indian federation. In the elections, the Congress won a large majority of the elected seats, dominating the Hindu electorate. But the Muslim League led by Muhammad Ali Jinnah won a large majority of Muslim electorate seats. The League had resolved in 1940 to demand Pakistan – an independent state for Muslims – and was a fierce critic of the Congress. The Congress formed governments in all provinces save Sindh, Punjab, and Bengal, where it entered into coalitions with other parties. Vallabhbhai Patel was one of the first Congress leaders to accept the partition of India as a solution to the rising Muslim separatist movement led by Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He had been outraged by Jinnah’s Direct Action campaign, which had provoked communal violence across India, and by the viceroy’s vetoes of his home department’s plans to stop the violence on the grounds of constitutionality. Patel severely criticised the viceroy’s induction of League ministers into the government, and the revalidation of the grouping scheme by the British government without Congress’s approval. Although further outraged at the League’s boycott of the assembly and non-acceptance of the plan of 16 May despite entering government, he was also aware that Jinnah did enjoy popular support amongst Muslims, and that an open conflict between him and the nationalists could degenerate into a Hindu-Muslim civil war of disastrous consequences. The continuation of a divided and weak central government would, in Patel’s mind, result in the wider fragmentation of India by encouraging more than 600 princely states towards independence.

POLITICAL INTEGRATION OF INDIA

Patel took charge of the integration of the princely states into India. This achievement formed the cornerstone of Patel’s popularity in the post-independence era. Even today he is remembered as the man who united India. He is, in this regard, compared to Otto von Bismarck who unified the many German states in 1871. Under the plan of 3 June, more than 565 princely states were given the option of joining either India or Pakistan, or choosing independence. Indian nationalists and large segments of the public feared that if these states did not accede, most of the people and territory would be fragmented. The Congress, as well as senior British officials, considered Patel the best man for the task of achieving conquest of the princely states by the Indian dominion. Gandhi had said to Patel, “The problem of the States is so difficult that you alone can solve it”. Patel was considered a statesman of integrity with the practical acumen and resolve to accomplish a monumental task. He asked V. P. Menon, a senior civil servant with whom he had worked on the partition of India, to become his right-hand man as chief secretary of the States Ministry. On 6 August 1947, Patel began lobbying the princes, attempting to make them receptive towards dialogue with the future government and forestall potential conflicts. Patel used social meetings and unofficial surroundings to engage most of the monarchs, inviting them to lunch and tea at his home in Delhi. At these meetings, Patel explained that there was no inherent conflict between the Congress and the princely order. Patel invoked the patriotism of India’s monarchs, asking them to join in the independence of their nation and act as responsible rulers who cared about the future of their people. He persuaded the princes of 565 states of the impossibility of independence from the Indian republic, especially in the presence of growing opposition from their subjects. He proposed favourable terms for the merger, including the creation of privy purses for the rulers’ descendants. While encouraging the rulers to act out of patriotism, Patel did not rule out force. Stressing that the princes would need to accede to India in good faith, he set a deadline of 15 August 1947 for them to sign the instrument of accession document. All but three of the states willingly merged into the Indian union; only Jammu and Kashmir, Junagadh, and Hyderabad did not fall into his basket.

Patel was highly respected for his leadership in uniting 562 princely states of India with a major part of the former British Raj to form the single Union of India. How to judge people

Yes you got it right. We are often told  don’t judge people on the basis of any parameter.

And yet here I am suggesting to judge not just people but situations efficiently.

What kind of judgment are we talking about here? You should learn to do selective judgment. Judgment Done by you should be on an individual level and it should not affect adversely the second party in anyway.Like I said there is good in the world along with the bad so your judgment should be limited to warding off the bad people around you.

Your call should not become any sort of discrimination towards the people.Your hatred or your indifference should not become social or societal indifference.

Judgement of a person is only for cautious purposes.

Like it benefits girls the most.Seeing the number of rapes and hate crimes committed against women,a key of caution towards judgement of intention can be handy.

Similarly, mothers and sisters of culprits can judge their son’s behavior as to what tendencies he has. This can help in avoiding at least a few incidents of female cruelty.

I agree,In india parenting is different. But that’s what we need to learn as a country.Adopt the positive things from other countries.

It can help you be safe.Prevent accident, incidence of injury to both mind and body.

Another angle to judgement is we learn to analyse situations and can foresee our reaction to it.We constantly react to external stimuli in many ways.

It helps provide a presumption of a situation and hence we can bravely fave the wicked ones.

The fight between right and wrong even establishes itself at government level.

Whilst arguing that selective judgement is good and can be helpful to you there is yet another angle. To learn where to not judge.

Some wrongs we can avoid-

To judge people on the basis of their beauty.Bad.

Judging them on the basis of their money. Bad.

Doing friendships or relationships on the basis of pros and cons or advantages and disadvantage without having any emotions. Bad.

Judging someone on the basis of the language they speak,Fluency in English. Bad.

Judging someone on the basis of clothes to wear. Bad.

Judging someone on the basis of their religion/Caste. Bad.

Judging someone by the life choices they make ie being on married choosing a spouse etc.Bad.

Considering Everyone who is not like you inferior and satisfying your pride.Bad.

&

Self analysis and helping others learn selective judgment to prevent or overcome possible future wrongs.Good.

MEDICAL TERMINATION OF PREGNANCY (AMENDMENT) BILL 2021

Context: Recently, the Rajya Sabha passed the Medical Termination Pregnancy (Amendment) Bill, 2021.

● The Bill seeks to amend the Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act, 1971.

● This Act covers abortions in India. It had been amended in 1975 and 2002.

●This is an important Bill that seeks to enhance the reproductive rights of women in india .

● Before the enactment of this legislation, abortion was prohibited under Section 312 of the Indian Penal Code.

According to this MTP Act, 1971, a pregnancy may be medically terminated by a registered medical practitioner:

Photo by Pavel Danilyuk on Pexels.com
  1. Where the length of the pregnancy does not exceed twelve weeks (for this, the opinion of one doctor was required).
  2. Where the length of the pregnancy has exceeded twelve weeks but does not exceed 20 weeks. In this case, for the abortion to take place, two doctors must be of the opinion that the continuation of the pregnancy would impair the mental and/or physical health of the mother, and/or that if the child were to be born, it would suffer from serious physical or mental abnormalities causing it to be handicapped.
  3. The law also required minor pregnant women to get written consent from the guardian for the abortion to be allowed.

Provisions:

Termination due to Failure of Contraceptive Method

Under the Act, a pregnancy may be terminated up to 20 weeks by a married woman in the case of failure of contraceptive method or device. The Bill allows unmarried women to also terminate a pregnancy for this reason.

Opinion Needed for Termination of Pregnancy:

• Opinion of one registered medical practitioner (instead of two or more) for termination of pregnancy up to 20 weeks of gestation.

• Opinion of two registered medical practitioners for termination of pregnancy of 20-24 weeks of gestation.

• Opinion of the State-level medical board is essential for a pregnancy to be terminated after 24 weeks in case of substantial foetal abnormalities.

Medical Boards:

Every state government is required to constitute a Medical board

These Medical Boards will consist of the 5 members:

(i) a gynaecologist

(ii) a paediatrician

(iii) a radiologist or sonologist

(iv) any other number of members, as may be notified by the state government.

Upper Gestation Limit for Special Categories:

It enhances the upper gestation limit from 20 to 24 weeks for special categories of women which will be defined in the amendments to the MTP Rules and would include survivors of rape, victims of incest and other vulnerable women (like differently-abled women, minors) etc.

Confidentiality:

The “name and other particulars of a woman whose pregnancy has been terminated shall not be revealed”, except to a person authorised in any law that is currently in force.

Benefits:

Termination in Case of Anomaly:

A number of foetus abnormalities are detected after the 20th week, often turning a wanted pregnancy into an unwanted one.

Helps Special Category Women:

The law will help the rape victims, ill and under-age women to nd unde terminate the unwanted pregnancy lawfully.

Beneficial for Unmarried Women:

The Bill also applies to unmarried women and therefore, relaxes one of the regressive clauses of the 1971 Act, i.e., single women couldn’t cite contraceptive failure as a reason for seeking an abortion.

Allowing unmarried women to medically terminate pregnancies and a provision to protect the privacy of the person seeking an abortion will bestow reproductive rights to the women.

Abortion laws across the world:

Abortion laws vary across the world. It is learnt that around 60 countries prescribe gestational limits.

• 52 % including France, the UK, Austria, Ethiopia, Italy, Spain, Iceland, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland and even Nepal, allow for termination beyond 20 weeks on the diagnosis of foetal abnormalities.

● Some countries go beyond even these limits with laws in 23 countries-Canada, Germany, Vietnam, Denmark, Ghana, and Zambia-allowing for abortion at any time during the pregnancy on the request of the mother.

●Recently, Argentina became both the largest Latin American country and the third South American country to legalize abortion.

Challenges:

Viability of the Foetus:

● A key aspect of the legality governing abortions has always been the ‘viability’ of the foetus.

● Viability implies the period from which a foetus is capable of living outside the womb.

● As technology improves, with infrastructure up-gradation, and with skilful professionals driving medical care, this ‘viability’ naturally improves.

• Currently, viability is usually placed at about seven months (28 weeks) but may occur earlier, even at 24 weeks.

Thus, late termination of pregnancy may get in conflict with the viability of the foetus.

Preference for a Male Child:

The preference for a male child keeps sex determination centres in bussiness in spite of their illegal status. There are concerns that a more liberal abortion law can aggravate this state-of-affairs.

Change of Choice:

The current Bill does not consider factors such as personal choice, a sudden change in circumstances (due to separation from or eath of a partner), and domestic violence

Medical Boards:

●The present healthcare budgetary allocation makes setting up a board across the country, both financially and practically impossible.

● Access to the board by pregnant women in remote areas of the state is a matter of concern.

●No time limit set to respond to the requests.

● The board will subject women to multiple examinations before allowing her to terminate her pregnancy. This is a violation of right to privacy and right to live with dignity.

Way Forward

●Though Medical Termination of Pregnancy (Amendment) bill 2021 is a step in the right direction, the government needs to ensure that all norms and standardised protocols in clinical practice to facilitate abortions are followed in health care institutions across the country.

●Along with that, the question of abortion needs to be decided on the basis of human rights, the principles of solid science, and in step with advancements in technology.

There are different types of psychology, such as cognitive, forensic, social, and developmental psychology. In modern psychology, the varying viewpoints on human behavior have been split into eight different perspectives: biological, behavioral, cognitive, humanistic, psychodynamic, sociocultural, evolutionary, and biopsychosocial.

Psychology helps people in large part because it can explain why people act the way they do. With this kind of professional insight, a psychologist can help people improve their decision making, stress management and behavior based on understanding past behavior to better predict future behavior.

Psychology can also be a useful tool for improving your overall health. From ways to encourage exercise and better nutrition to new treatments for depression, the field of health psychology offers a wealth of beneficial strategies that can help you to be healthier and happier.

“If positive psychology teaches us anything, it is that all of us are a mixture of strengths and weaknesses. No one has it all, and no one lacks it all.”

Advantages of Online Learning:

Online education allows us to learn from a variety of mentors and teachers in a variety of fields, broadening our knowledge and expanding our horizons. The other most important item is to ensure that communication with the school faculty and fellow pupils is maintained. The main element is proper time management, which allows us to manage our time and finish and submit assigned tasks on time.

Poor leadership

Poor leaders are characterized by their lack of ability to provide direction to the team, which may stem from their own lack of vision. Chron says not setting clear expectations keeps workers from understanding what they actually need to deliver. It can cause frustration on both ends when the deliverables are not completely in line with what the department needs.

As a leader, it is your responsibility to provide not just clear instructions to your team, but also to help them see how their tasks contribute towards achieving the company’s overall objectives. Keeping them informed of how their efforts impact the organization can motivate them to perform at their best while considering their own obligations.

Plus, you also get to see how your employees grow as the business moves forward. Constant growth of workers is more vital than simply completing tasks because at the end of the day, they are still the main driving force towards the company’s success. In other words, an employee who does what’s required is good; but one who exceeds expectations and develops into an invaluable company asset is the best.

Indian Education System

The Indian education system is quite an old education system that still exists. It has produced so many genius minds that are making India proud all over the world. However, while it is one of the oldest systems, it is still not that developed when compared to others, which are in fact newer. This is so as the other countries have gone through growth and advancement, but the Indian education system is still stuck in old age. It faces a lot of problems that need to be sorted to let it reach its full potential.

Problems with Indian Education System

Our Indian education system faces a lot of problems that do not let it prosper and help other children succeed in life. The biggest problem which it has to face is the poor grading system. It judges the intelligence of a student on the basis of academics which is in the form of exam papers. That is very unfair to students who are good in their overall performance but not that good at specific subjects.

Moreover, they only strive to get good marks not paying attention to understanding what is taught. In other words, this encourages getting good marks through mugging up and not actually grasping the concept efficiently.

Furthermore, we see how the Indian education system focuses on theory more. Only a little percentage is given for practical. This makes them run after the bookish knowledge and not actually applying it to the real world. This practice makes them perplexed when they go out in the real world due to lack of practical knowledge.

Most importantly, the Indian education system does not emphasize enough on the importance of sports and arts. Students are always asked to study all the time where they get no time for other activities like sports and arts.

How Can We Improve Indian Education System?

As the Indian Education System is facing so many problems, we need to come up with effective solutions so it improves and creates a brighter future for students. We can start by focusing on the skill development of the students. The schools and colleges must not only focus on the ranks and grades but on the analytical and creative skills of children.

In addition, subjects must not be merely taught theoretically but with practical. This will help in a better understanding of the subject without them having to mug up the whole thing due to lack of practical knowledge. Also, the syllabus must be updated with the changing times and not follow the old age pattern.

Other than that, the government and private colleges must now increase the payroll of teachers. As they clearly deserve more than what they offer. To save money, the schools hire teachers who are not qualified enough. This creates a very bad classroom environment and learning. They must be hired if they are fit for the job and not because they are working at a lesser salary.

In conclusion, the Indian education system must change for the better. It must give the students equal opportunities to shine better in the future. We need to let go of the old and traditional ways and enhance the teaching standards so our youth can get create a better world.

What problems does the Indian Education System face?

Indian education is very old and outdated. It judges students on the basis of marks and grades ignoring the overall performance of the student. It focuses on academics side-lining arts and sports.

How can we improve the Indian education system?

The colleges and schools must hire well and qualified teachers. They must help students to understand the concept instead of merely mugging up the whole subject.

Breakdown of classical literature: In the counterfeited world of social media.

Evidently the authenticity of literature, art and music is drifting as the world is moving towards the unrealistic world of social media. Those theories and principles of Plato’s, Socrates, Dryden and why Romeo and Juliet are the best tragic love story of all time is not among the list of gossips among the audience, rather the existence of literature, the enthralling poetry of shelly, of Allan Poe had fade up and became deadlier as the time lapse of the tech century is moving towards and giving their hands to social media.

It presents us how the contemporary world is engrossed in social media and how it has hollowed the interests of  Literarian from the art and literature and made them addicted towards social media, whereas social media is just a platform of unrealistic, unartistry, counterfeited world of humans. This article will give a brief portrayal of degradation of classical literature in the 21st century due to ill effects of social media.

Avery auld yet one of the greatest sayings of literature which is deeply rooted within the minds of all the literarian: “Literature is a mirror of a society”.

By taking this quote into a consideration we can say that how culture, and social life is so much crucial in human society and how literature has been one of the prominent reasons, the people in the society realized the social causes and events held near them.

Profoundly, a person in the 21st century would never know how the condition of women were then in the time of the Victorian age. How women were a part of war and give their contribution to the society.

Yes, definitely! We can all get this information in any of the social media sites, but the emotional bondage which literature builds in the readers minds, prints in the mind forever! Any form of art helps to better understand the culture, social scenario and the society in which the particular art was crafted in the particular period.

But Consequently, literature is no longer as effective as it was in the past centuries, as social media has nearly overcome all other aspects of communications, substituted literature in many sites and situations.

Literature allows readers to analyze different views of the current realities critically, and to discuss them from social, cultural, ideological, and political perspectives. Thus, literature has promoted culture of harmony.

It has emphasized the importance of coexistence and cooperation, and enriched the principles of multiculturalism and diversity and reconciliation of ethnic and religious conflicts. Over the past decade, social media has played an active role in various areas of life.

Much literature is written to reflect various controversies in many societies. It has also depicted certain social problems and crises experienced by various social groups.

Meanwhile, it criticises the hypocrisy and hegemony of the ruling class, revealing the sufferings of the working class, condemning the exploitation of natural resources by those who are in power, and calling for pacifism, liberty, social justice and equality.

It can be said that it was the social media of that time, used to conveying certain messages, tackling problems and issues.

Art and artist is immortal, so is the literature :

It’s very fascinating how the words “art” and “immortality” often stand close to each other. We speak of art that is immortal and the immortal fame of artists. And though this may sound like mere rhetoric, art and immortality actually are linked very closely. Because, in a way, art is suited for communication with people long dead.

As the literature is also the form the art, still in this era, the works of Dostoevsky, Shakespeare, Wordsworth’s alive! Though they are dead practically, but their works are keeping them alive in this world.

Movies are commercial purpose:

In this century, the advent of media is winning the race from literature as people are more into the best sellers. To make any book popular people prefer to make movies to more commercialise, so that people watch movies and then read the particular book.

But the harsh fact is that after watching movies, cent percent of the people actually don’t read books as they have already watched the movies and know the plot already, so the suspense to read books is lost.

So, in conclusion people are denial towards reading books and preferring more of social medias and other platforms.

Abandonment of Literature :

So, the question is: Is it important to just read, or to read classical literature? The best  reply could be to each his own. For, language is a living entity; it evolves and adjusts to the requirements of its users. Those who feel classical literature is the only answer to the mankind’s problems should take into account that the present generation of English children may not like to read Shakespeare (they might not admit, as it would be outlandish ) but are crazy about Harry Potter series. Again, that would be in contrast to what their parents grew up reading: Hardy boys and Enid Blyton.

All the purpose of reading should not always be acquiring education. What’s wrong with reading just for fun? We live in a world which is very different from that inhabited by our forefathers. Their realities and ours may be same and totally different simultaneously; if that makes sense!

So, we can conclude that, social media is detreating our aesthetic literature it should be preserved so that next 100 of generations knows about it.
