Many users across social media have noticed the change and considered Amazon prime’s profile picture (which has a confetti icon on it’s logo- referring to some party) with several interpretations including big billion sale, disclosure of series sequels and so on. But the official handles made it very obvious it is something else, with a tagline “we’re prepping for the biggest party“. People flooded the social media with memes, momentarily. As a hint, the officials posted a screenshot of messaging tab of Instagram where few eminent OTT platforms and network, specifically 8 platforms, including Discovery+, ErosNow, Manorama Max, HoiChoi, Shorts Tv, Lionsgate and Mubi created a hype with questions of “Where’s the party?“. Soon after this, Amazon prime confirmed the partnership with these 8 platforms with add on subscriptions for the Prime members.
