Level Up Your Marketing – 6 Reasons!

“Content is the atomic particle of all digital marketing.”

· Rebecca Lieb

Hello, today’s article is special as it answers the need to go for Marketing.

Marketing is the process of moving towards the ocean and getting acquainted with the fishes throughout the journey! Of course, this is just an example of personification and hyperbole for a different definition of Marketing. It implies moving forward into the market area to get acquainted with your competitors throughout the journey so as to keep learning new strategies and agendas of business from them.

There are Two Types of Marketing. The First and the most common form of it which was perhaps prevalent before the digitalized era is, In Person Marketing wherein you speak to consumers in person, to sell your commodity. However, this form exists even today and can be traced as the birth of marketing. Owners with concrete structures like shops indulge into this type of marketing wherein they try convincing each and every customer in order to give them a call to action. So, Marketing basically is, appeasing the customer in a standard format.

The Second Type, as we all know today is Digital or Online Marketing. Online marketing is the most widely used today. Even shopkeepers indulge in this method as they advertise the facilities and products provided by them on the internet to attract consumers. Fortunately, today the entire world is on a single social media platform which makes us so close to people that connecting across the globe is no longer a concern.

However, why should you market your facilities, goods, and services?

· For Increased Recognition!

When you market your services out there in the society, your brand, company, or shop receives recognition and interest which eventually attracts more and more consumers towards your business.

· To Make Sales!

Of course, this is intertwined with the first reason because when you receive recognition, and when your business blooms on social media, you are likely to avail benefits in the form of sales. It’s just that the correct form of marketing is required to appeal to customers.

· An Opportunity To Learn From Other Sources!

By this I mean, you get a wider opportunity to sneak into your competitor’s social media profile without the fear of being caught and maybe learn some of the interesting ways of marketing. Don’t worry! You aren’t stealing their marketing strategies because marketing as a general concept doesn’t accentuate plagiarism since most of the strategies are practiced by all. That’s the beauty of online marketing!

· An Opportunity To Learn The Desires Of The Mob Easily!

The best way of Marketing is to learn more about the problems your customers face and to understand their desires. Through Online Marketing, it gets easier to read the reviews of people on a certain business platform and acquire knowledge on the same. You could directly message people and speak to them regarding their problems or create surveys and distribute them to your contacts to learn more about them. This is because, Marketing requires a good understanding of your target audience as to what issues they face and what solutions do they expect to them. Isn’t Online Marketing amazing?

· Availability Of The Creation Of Various Blogging Sites And Other Websites For Developing Free Content!

This is the “luring” section of Marketing which decides the future of your business. This is true marketing through your content. By creating free content, be it in any form: educational, entertaining or testimonials, you try to transform the suspicious buyers into interested customers by providing them the call to action. This is the actual step of Digital Marketing. Just like you welcome guests at home not without your house address, similarly your website is a station or address of your business as to from where exactly viewers are to learn more about you! This too, is made easy by Digital Marketing which helps create this station for you!

· An Opportunity To Analyze Your Business Performance Easily Through Certain Applications!

There are certain interesting applications like Google Analytics that help you monitor your performance. This application helps you understand the higher amount of purchases from a certain social media platform on the basis of which you could decide the acceleration of the creation of free content on that particular platform.

There are certain other Google Extensions like Keywords Surfer that help you keep track of the highest searches of a particular word which you could use as a business name or maybe for your free content. Another mind boggling application is Google Trends that helps you keep up with the trend in the market since all you’ve got to do is search for a word in the search box and voila! A complete stats on the amount of searches in particular cities appears, on the basis of which you could decide the admittance of a specific word for your free content. After all, more the searches in your city, more the possibility of content based on that word being viewed. Popularity counts, doesn’t it?

Thus, I would conclude stating that Marketing is all about selling your commodity but not before making it known to the consumer. When, it comes to online marketing however, you not only make your product known, but also the company or brand you own, in order to make purchasing a comfortable task for the customers. Another step is involved here because of the invisibility of online marketing because of which people tend to have trust issues over the genuineness of a company or brand. That is exactly why, Marketing online requires more persuasion and evidence of worth!

11 Reasons Why Apple Wants Companies To Choose Mac Over Windows.

Like Android vs IOS, Mac vs Windows is also a ‘battle’ that has been going on for decades. Also, along with the companies rivalry, we all are aware of Steve Jobs and Bill Gates’s famous rivalry. Although the rivalry between these two tech giants is settled now, there is no end to the debate over which one is better. For proving that Apple is better, Apple also has created a special site labeled 11 reasons Mac means business. By the title, it is clear that Apple is targeting organizations to choose them instead of Windows.

So, let’s see why Apple wants companies to choose them. Mentioned below are 11 reasons according to Apple, why:-

1) The all-mighty M1 chip

Apple says that the M1 chip changes everything. The silicon-based chip, according to Apple defines custom technologies, blazing-fast speed, and incredible power efficiency. In short; a breakthrough of breakthroughs.

2) M1: the Flash of the processors

According to Apple, the MacBook Air with an M1 processor is now about 3.5X faster than the previous generation. Apple says that with the M1 chip one can multitask across the projects, analyze the spreadsheet while having a video conference, and can crush even the performance-heavy tasks with ease.

3) Longest battery life

Apple claims that now the devices which come with the M1 chip have jaw-dropping battery life. Apple says, “ up to 18 hours of battery life — MacBook Air delivers the power to work where, how, and for as long as you want.”

4) Mac is friendly with IT

Apple says that it is a lot facilitated with zero-touch deployment to set up devices. And to manage Mac at any scale with mobile device management.

5) Mac work for companies without IT

Mac is easy to use and the setup is also very simple. The assistant helps to get Mac up and running quickly. And with reliable hardware, it won’t let you down. So, it’s perfect for companies with or without IT support.

6) Mac costs less in the long run

According to Apple, when compared with a PC, a single Mac can save you $843 over three years. How? Because of fewer support tickets, less software needed, and higher residual value, the savings add up, claims Apple.

7) The most innovative companies run on Mac

As per Apple, 84℅ of the world’s top originators like SAP, Salesforce, and Target deploy Mac at Scale.

8) Business apps are better on Mac

Support of Google and Microsoft Apps are seamless on Mac. And now with the new processor, popular iPhone, and iPad business apps also can run on Mac.

9) Apple’s Security game is strong

Apple mentioned, “Mac is the most secure personal computer on the planet, thanks to built-in features like hardware-verified secure boot, on-the-fly encryption, Touch ID, and Gatekeeper.”

10) Benefits of Apple’s Ecosystem

Thanks to the Apple ecosystem if employees use iPhone then the cross-device support is far better. It makes it easier to transfer files and calls can also be picked up anywhere.

11) Mac is a pleasure to work with

Apple explaining the point says, “When you give people the power to work the way they want, with the tools they love, they are inspired to do the best work of their lives. Apple makes it easy to give employees the power to choose their own devices while simplifying IT management and maintaining corporate standards.”

Whether it is Mac or Windows, in the end, it depends on what is your choice. And also there is no end to the debate over Mac vs Windows.

Ethical Business

“A business that makes nothing but money is poor business.” This is a well known and most commonly used quote of Henry Ford, an Amercian Industrialist and the founder of Ford Motor company. This quote clearly expresses that a business should not only aim for profit maximisation , there are various other responsibilties that one should bear. Ethical business not only means to have a good relationship with the customer but also to protect the health of consumers and other citizens. But how of many businesses are following such practices? How many are following the guidelines provided by the government? How many are ensuring the life protection of the workers?

A common agenda of most of the businesses these days is ‘profit-maximisation’ and in order to achieve this goal they tend to forget that if they are taking something from the society , they need to give something back. The enrionmental havoc that many industries are creating just to earn profit is beyond imagination and unfathomable. Top four industries that contribute to global warming and other environmental hazards are Fertilizer industry, Tannery industry , Pesticides industry, Chemical industry. Central Pollution Control Board classified The Indian Fertilzer Industry under ‘red catregory’ which is really a matter of concern. Not only this , CPCB also stated that out of 52% plants, assessed in study, 12 plants received directions or show cause and even closure notices for water pollution and air pollution and solid waste management. All these figures clearly indicates the irresponsibility and carelessness of businesses.

In the era where every industries and businesses focusses on gaining profit there are certain businesses which are balancing both ethics and profits. One of such corporation is Anand Milk Union Limited (Amul). Amul is really setting an example for ethical business by providing jobs to around 12 million small farmers. They do not lean on big farmers rather they collect milk from small farmers, benefitting both the service industry and the Corporation. These small producers are grouped in nearly 108547 village – level dairy corporation society. According to data, India’s milk production has increased from 21.2 million metric tons in 1968-69 to 88.1 million metric tons in 2003-2004. These figures are gradually increasing year by year. Not only Amul , in 2018 seven leading industries namely Adidas , Method, Norton Point, West Paw, Clifbar, Waitrose, Rubbermaid, took up ‘End Plastic Pollution’ Campaign in order lessen the plastic pollution.

All the above examples suggests that it is possible to do business keeping ethics in mind. In a run long for a business to survive and thrive , community service and profit should go hand in hand . There are many ways through which a business can cater service to the needy or environment. ‘Cleaning Campaigns’, ‘charitable works’, ‘donation,’ ‘providing jobs to the lower class people’ are some of the ways to balanace profit and ethics. If business follows “one must clean his own mess” rule it will not only gain public support and profit , but also it will set example for other businesses to follow.

INTERNSHIP IS THE NEED OF EVERY STUDENT RIGHT NOW !

An internship is the position of a student or trainee who works in an organization, sometimes without pay, in order to gain work experience or satisfy requirements for a qualification. A good degree with good marks will not take you to an organization , but internship will . you need the experience to get hands-on knowledge in your career field. In today’s labour market, employers rely heavily on CVs that demonstrate relevant work history, whether it is from actual job experience, volunteer work, or interning at a company. Within this group, 57.5% of students who had an internship and 43.7% of graduating seniors who did not have an internship received a job offer.”

An internship is an official program offered by organizations to help train and provide work experience to students and recent graduates. The concept of working as an intern began a long time ago but has drastically evolved over the years. Internships first started as a labourer who would take on young individuals and teach them their art or trade. In exchange for being taught a skill, the trainee would agree to work for the labourer for a specific time. The skill taught there will help you in the real market scenarios , which will help you to solve real market problems .

Getting job experience is very important in today’s life . You can get an internship at a small company or get experience by freelancing. Any experience where you use skills that you can transfer to your future career is an excellent addition to your CV. It can help you demonstrate your commitment and capabilities to an employer while highlighting the skills that are both appropriate and transferable to the post you are applying for. An internship will give you the best experience regarding the job .

FIVE IMPORTANCE OF INTERNSHIP

  1. You will get an experience of the real market , the things which you have learnt in books , the things which you are having the book knowledge of , that book knowledge is used in the practical form .

  5. Internship helps you to build critical network connections because you are involve with them who are expert in that field .

BIT COIN CASH:

WHAT IS BIT COIN CASH?

Bit coin cash is a crypto currency, from a fork of Bit coin that was created in August 2017. Bit coin cash was created to accommodate a larger block size compared to Bit coin, allowing more transactions into a single block.

Later in November 2017 it split into 2 crypto currency

  • Bit coin Cash ABC and
  • Bit coin Cash SV (Satoshi Vision)

Despite their philosophical differences, both Bit coin and Bit coin cash share several similarities.

 1 BITCOIN CASH = 36683.18 INDIAN RUPEE

HISTORY OF BIT COIN TO BIT COIN CASH:

Bit coin was meant to be a peer-to-peer crypto currency that was used for daily transactions. But over the years it became an investment vehicle instead of a currency. Its block chain witnessed scalability issues because it could not handle the increased number of transactions. The confirmation time and fees for a transaction was urged. It’s due to 1MB block size limitation for bit coin which results in queued transactions.

As a remedy to this situation Bit coin cash was proposed by increasing the size of blocks to between 8 MB and 32 MB, thereby enabling more transactions per block. “Bitcoin cash is the version of bitcoin that implemented an increase in the transaction capacity,”

DIFFERENCE IN BIT COIN AND BIT COIN CASH:

  • Unlike bit coin, bit coin cash uses a separate hash algorithm which eliminates the possibility of a replay between the two block chains.
  • Bit coin is difficult to beat in terms of price when compared to bit coin cash.
  • Bit coin cash is well ahead of bit coin in terms of transaction speed.
  • Bit coin cash has lower transaction cost than Bit coin.

BIT COIN CASH IN INDIA:

Binance is one of the world’s largest and best known crypto currency exchanges. As an Indian trader, one can buy Bit coin cash on binance.

As per reports, Bit coin cash worth will rise to $2000 by the year 2025.Supply of Bit coin is limited to 21 million.

IS IT A GOOD INVESTMENT?

Investing in bit coin is like a roller coaster ride. Bit coin Cash offers the potential for otherworldly profit but at the same time it has high risks and crazy price swings.

CRYPTO CRASH:

According to Visual Capitalist, Bit coin has crashed 80% or more three different times since 2012. Therefore today’s crypto crash is nothing new. No one knows the future, so no one can say whether Bit coin is going up or down in the near term. However, it is good to say the odds are high that the price of Bit coin will be higher following the next halving event, which is expected in 2024.

TRADING OVERVIEW:

Exchange Pair Price
Binance BCH/TUSD $ 447.04
Kucoin BCH/USDC $ 445.73
Huobi Global BCH/USDT $ 448.22
UPbit BCH/KRW $ 462.65

BIT COIN CASH PRICE CHART:

24 Hour High 24 Hour High                 Market Capitalization
476.98 USD  444.80 USD   8,632,223,279.93 USD

CONCLUSION:

If Bitcoin’s history teaches us anything, it’s to expect the unexpected. If Bit coin’s history teaches us anything, it’s to expect the unexpected. If you’re willing to hold a small position for the long term, then it is recommended to buy some Bit coin. But one mustn’t buy today hoping to get rich tomorrow.

MAGIC IN A CUP OF TEA!!!

Every morning won’t be complete without a cup tea right? Many people can’t do their work without a cup pf tea. Tea gives us refreshness and make us active. Though many like coffee, there are people who love tea too. The reason for me to talk about tea is nothing but today’s topic revolves around tea. Let me tell you an essay written by Eric Arthur Blair about a cup of tea.

Eric Arthur Blair, known by his pename George Orwell, was an English Novelist, journalist and a critic. He opposed totalitarianism and supported democratic socialism. He is best known for the Allegorical novella ‘Animal farm” and the dystopian novel “Nineteen Eighty Four”. He wrote an essay about ‘A nice cup of tea’ and it was published in London Evening Standards in 1946. It is about the discussion of the art of making tea. He states ten rules to be followed while making tea. Let me tell you about his essay.

Eric Arthur Blair (George Orwell)

The author said that there are no cookery books that has the preparation of tea as a recepie. Countries like Eire, NewZealand and Australia which has tea as a part of civilization. He says that Chinese tea has virtues but there is no much stimulation in it. So the author prefers Indian or Ceylonese tea.

  • The first rule is that one should prefer Indian or Ceylonese tea. One does not feel wiser or more optimistic after drinking it. ‘A nice cup of tea’ literally means Indian tea.
  • Second rule is that tea should be made in small quantities in a tea pot. The teapot should be made of China or earthenware. Silver and birtannia ware tea pots produce inferior tea and enamel parts are worse. In the army, the tea is made in a big cauldron, tastes of grease and whitewash.
  • Thirdly, the pot should be warmed beforehand rather than placing it with water in it.
  • Fourthly, the tea should be strong. He states that one strong cup of tea is better than twenty weak ones. All tea lovers not only love a strong tea but like it a little longer with each year that passes.
  • Fifthly, the tea should be put straight into the pot. Don’t use strainers or muslin bags to imprison the tea. One can swallow tea-leaves in considerable quantities without ill effect and if the tea is not loose in the pot it never infuses properly.
  • Sixthly, one should take teapot to the kettle and no other way about. The water should be boiling at the time, one should keep it on the flame while pouring it.
  • Seventhly, after making the tea, one should stir it, or better give it a good shake allowing the leaves to settle.
  • Eighthly, one should drink it out in a cylindrical type of cup rather than a shallow type of cup. The shallow cup will have the tea half cold before one starts, drinking it.
  • Ninthly, one should pour the cream off the milk before using it for tea. Milk with cream gives a sickly taste.
  • Tenthly, one should pour tea into the cup first and then add milk. By pouring the tea first, one can regulate the amount of milk to be added to the tea. He also says that one should drink tea without adding sugar. Adding sugar, destroys the taste of the tea. He also asks the question to the tea lovers, How can you call yourself a tea lover if you destroy the flavour of your tea by adding sugar into it? He also says that adding sugar is similar to drinking a hot water.

The points said by him are quite controversiable. But try to drink a cup of tea without sugar for a fortnight, and you will never ruin your tea by adding sugar to it. Think about yourself guys. This essay is quite interesting. I like this essay and how about you guys?

The logistics sector has seen a growth of about 59% during the lockdown period. Primary reasons attributing to the growth of the sector is the order of essential services online to avoid the covid spread. While we were staying safe behind the doors, the logistics sector worked relentlessly to fulfill our needs. Ever wonder what’s happening in the logistics sector? There are certain hard challenges faced by the logistics sector. There were delays in the delivery and sometimes tracking of goods seem to be even more difficult. This is because of a lack of networking with the driver communities, following the superannuated process of tracking and competitive market.

Vahak is a startup that has developed an online community wherein a customer can easily interact with the drivers,  book a lorry or a truck and thus transport their goods from point A to B. The app can be beneficial for both sides. The customer can get his booking done in no time with minimal calls and can place bids for the same. The drivers on the other hand can get the details in prior, have regular jobs, and assured payments. Sounds like a win-win situation right? Of course, it is. Be Safe With Your Dinnerware

Are you staring at your plate right now with suspicious eyes? If so, then relax and take off that crease from your forehead. If you are worried about lead being present in your dishes, then we are here for you. Here all your doubts about how to test dinnerware for lead will be addressed and you don’t have to worry.

Safety is the first thing anyone wants while buying any product. You wouldn’t have thought about searching for lead in your dinnerware. Did you? Dinnerware is the most regularly used item in our homes, but to find that unsafe for us is disappointing. And also you shouldn’t be even asking this question. Think about it, you bought a nice dinner set from a respectable company, but here you are getting suspicious? Don’t worry any further. We will clear all your suspicions. Come on, let’s have a look at how to test your dinnerware for lead?

Why is Lead unsafe?

Lead is a harmful toxin that if ingested, may cause serious damage to the body systems. Children and pregnant women stay at a higher risk of health issues from the toxic effects of lead. You may have heard of lead poisoning too. It is very real and lethal.

Lead does not leave your body after entering. It accumulates there and due to this, even small amounts are harmful to health. You need to remove lead from your dinnerware so that you can eat your food safely.

Why is Lead Used in Dinnerware?

Lead is used in dinnerware for glazes and bright colors. It is basically used to beautify the dishes. The glazes that make the dishes shine like glass, the bright red color designs, these all are lead. It seems nice but it’s lethal. Lead also provides strength to the dishes and prevents them from moisture.

How Does Lead Enter Our Body?

There are many ways in which lead can enter our bodies. Let us point them out for you.

  1. If hot food is served on plates with glaze, the heat tends to extract the traces of chemicals from the surface and enter the food.
  • If you heat your food in the microwave, it can get lead into it. So don’t heat too many times.
  • Serving too much acidic food on a plate can also cause lead to enter the food. Acids tend to fast forward the process.

What Type of Dishes Contain Lead?

Dishes come in many varieties, so it can be hard to figure out the safest one. But we have something for you that can help. Now try to avoid the following things when looking for dishes:

  1. Antique dishes that may be passed down in your family from generations.
  • Heavily designed dishes, especially with bright colors like red, yellow, or orange.
  • Used dinnerware found in thrift stores or second-hand dishes you bought at a lower price.
  • Terra cotta dishes which are heavily glazed
  • Handmade dishes or pots.
  • Any dish with corroded glaze, or old dishes with worn-out designs.
  • Dishes with designs made above the glazed surface.

How to Test For Lead in Dishes?

You didn’t think you can check for the lead with plain sight, did you? No, you can’t. But there are some ways to test dishes for lead. One of them is to avoid the above mentioned types of dishes. Another useful way is by testing the dinnerware by home kit for testing lead in dinnerware.

Home Kit for testing lead in dinnerware is mainly useful for high content lead testing. It does not detect if there are only small amounts of lead in the dishes.

Another way is to send the dishes to a laboratory. But this may be a bit of absurd advice considering everyone doesn’t have access to labs and it is a bit expensive as well.

Method to Test For Lead With Home Kit

  1. Buy the chemically tested swabs, which are not very expensive.
  • Clean your dish with the swab.
  • If your dish contains lead, the lead detector on the swab with turn bright red indicating the presence of lead in your dish.
  • Or use a small chipped section of the glaze from the dish.
  • Peel a small part of the glaze and test it with the swab for more accuracy.

This method doesn’t tell you the exact amount of lead present in the dish. It is not much use but is fine for testing at home.

Method For Testing Lead in Laboratories

  1. Laboratories use X-ray systems to test for lead in dishes.
  • This method tells the accurate amount of lead present in the dish by using some electron reactions (which you don’t need to know about).

There are many ways to test for lead in laboratories. But some of them might damage the dish in the process. So this method is not feasible.

How to Reduce Exposure to Lead From Dishes?

The following points might be of some help:

  1. Stop using antique dishes
  • Don’t heat food in contaminated dishes
  • Don’t use highly glazed dishes for regular use
  • Stop storing food in contaminated dishes for a long time
  • Don’t wash the dishes containing lead in the dishwasher
  • Don’t serve acidic food on dishes containing lead. It speeds up the process.

Safest Lead Free Dinnerware

Choosing lead-free dinnerware for your safety is not that hard as it sounds. Just keep some points in mind next time while shopping for dishes.

  1. Choose the dishes with minimum designs
  2. Dishes with less glaze will be safe
  3. Plain white plates or dishes is definitely a winner
  4. Try to find less bright colored dishes
  5. We recommend more glass dishes. With them, you can be sure they are lead-free.
  6. If you are an appreciator for old, vintage dishes, you may want to restrict to the plain white ones.
  7. Melamine is considered to be the safest as it is more plastic than a glazed surface.

Now you are just a step away from buying lead-free dinnerware. Step out, go to that store, keep these few points in mind and find the perfect dinner set for you. And we hope now you know how to test for lead in dinnerware.

Dinnerware Patterns

Planning on throwing a big dinner party? Or just having some guests over for the night? Either way, we know what you are looking for. Are you looking for something innovative to do to impress your friends? We got you.

A big party means you need to take out your stock of dinner sets you have hidden in that cabinet. Yes, you read it right. Go on, take them out and think about how to decorate the dining table for the night. Maybe we can help you there. We will show you how to mix and match dinnerware for your party. But what else are you thinking? Flowers? Accessories for the table? Fancy table mats? Or candles maybe? That is nice but what about your precious dinnerware waiting to be showcased. Come on, let’s see what you need to do.

Why Mix and Match?

If you want to throw a big party., you will need a good amount of the same dinner sets. About 20 to 30 plates of the same design with the spoons and bowls too will be needed. No one is that stupid to buy these many dishes of the same design. So what you want is to mix and match your dinner sets to make your table look presentable and great.

How to Mix and Match Dinnerware?

It depends on how you want your table to look. Do you want a bright cheery mood? Or do you prefer a more classic look? Whatever you want, we are here to help you.

Either you decide to order takeout or cook your best dish, it’s always nice to make your table presentable. It sets the right mood for the dinner party. Let us find out how you can make the table a feast for your eyes.

  • Start with deciding a color scheme – The most important thing to keep in mind while setting the table is to devise a color scheme. The base color for the dinner sets. We recommend it to be a plain color. You can take it as bright red large plates with plain white side plates and add some golden metal spoons and forks. Or you can go with a dull color like brown or maybe royal blue with a contrast of silver would be nice.
  • Consider the mood of the gathering – You want to set the mood right for the party. Decide whether you want a formal gathering or a fun friends’ night out. For a formal dinner, you might want to seem classy then put some flowers and candles on the table.
  • Include different items – Your table will look good if it has some different fun items. They may be stemmed glasses for drinks or big fancy soup bowls. Adding napkins going with the color scheme might be a good addition. Set different sizes of spoons for starters and meals.
  • Metals shine bright – Metals make a good addition to the table. They add a bit of sparkle to the setting. There are no restrictions if you want to add some silver, gold, or bronze spoons and forks. They add to the charm of your dining table.
  • Add shapes and textures – Setting your table with different shapes of dishes would be nice and fun. Add two different shapes of glasses for drinks and water. Be bold and imaginative when adding patterns to the set. If a color doesn’t suit your mood then maybe go for more textured plates and dishes. Consider a floral pattern of plates with plain side plates which go with golden spoons.
  • A sense of nature – Bring in some natural materials and add one bright color like blue with classic white plates. Spice it up by giving it a traditional and classy look. Add some flowers too in the vase.
  • Consistency is the key – You need to be consistent. Whatever you selected at the starting, keep it up till the end. Whatever color or pattern you want make it consistent for every seat. Whether it is the color scheme, the flowers, table mats, or the water glasses, try to keep all the items consistent throughout the table. Even if your table is mismatched but is consistent, it will definitely look perfect.
  • Crisp and colorful – You want it to be a cheerful picnic dinner then you can go with solid colors lining your table. Mix it with a contrasting color to make it look colorful and complete. Maybe add some small pattern with the side plates or the glasses.

Some Other Things to Keep in Mind

There are some other different things to keep in mind while setting your table for the big night. We told you all about what to do, now let’s come to what not to do. Some tips for you not to do are mentioned below:

  1. Do not exaggerate the number of items on the table. Keep them less but enough for using easily.
  2. Do not go too bold with the color scheme. You don’t want a simple dinner party to look like a royal dinner, do you?
  3. Try to add patterns but not many. Stick to only one or two patterns.
  4. You can set each seat with different settings but try to keep the color scheme the same throughout the table to ensure consistency.

Unveiling of a 100-Qubit Quantum Computing System

Atom Computing, a quantum computing firm, has announced the development of a quantum computing machine with unrivaled capabilities. The Phoenix system, which is in its initial iteration, can hold up to 100 qubits and is touted to be ‘exceptionally’ stable with lengthy coherence periods, allowing for high performance. Separately, the firm reported the receipt of approximately $15 million in Series A investment and the appointment of a new CEO.

With optical tweezers, Atom Computing’s Phoenix can capture 100 atomic qubits (of an alkaline earth element) in a vacuum container. Lasers are then used to alter the quantum states of atomic qubits. Atom Computing’s Phoenix, according to the firm, is ideal for complicated calculations since its qubits are exceptionally robust and have very long coherence times (over 100 ms).

Using optical tweezers to manipulate atomic qubits in a vacuum environment is not a novel concept. Although Honeywell sells similar devices, their quantum computers only have six qubits. According to Atom Computing, their laser technology and platform design enable the scalability of the number of qubits to 100 units. The firm must, however, demonstrate such a system.

“The development of quantum computing has advanced to the point that it is no longer a decade away. Because of our systems’ scalability and reliability, we are certain that we will be able to lead the industry to genuine quantum advantage “Atom Computing’s CEO and President, Rob Hays, stated. “We’ll be able to solve complicated problems that were previously impossible to handle with traditional computing, even with Moore’s Law’s exponential performance improvements and massively scalable cluster designs.”

Atom Computing announced that it has raised $15 million in Series A investment from venture capital companies Venrock, Innovation Endeavors, and Prelude Ventures, in addition to providing the first information about its Phoenix quantum computing system. The funds will go toward the construction of the Phoenix quantum computing system.

Rob Hays has also been named CEO and President of the firm. Hays previously worked at Intel for 20 years, establishing the company’s Xeon roadmap. Later in his career, he worked at Lenovo, where he established the company’s data center product and service strategy.

Does Execution Simply Mean An Initiative?

“Dreams reach their final destination when executed.”

  • Amatullah P.

What exactly is Execution for you? A dictionary nerd would give the perfect definition of it but the ‘Dictionary of Business’ has a completely different meaning altogether. Let’s begin with the standard way and get you imagining!

Till now, we made you analyse the aftermath of building a company but this story will drag you into that internal process of thought!

It’s been a struggling journey all along. You are broke and want some source of income which is quite obvious. That is when your company is born because it has started occupying some space in your thought. Now, you plan towards executing its existence in the society. Of course, you don’t begin with that company motive in head. The first thought is always to go for a job wherein you receive ample experience from which you can learn and set up your own business. Let us consider that you are ready to begin your own company which means that you will now have to execute your motive. Executing here doesn’t simply mean initiating. Execution includes the proper steps you take into getting your company a success! Of course, you are not required to become an overnight news sensation. All you need to do is, just take the correct steps towards your company.

Execution means employing eligible employees for your company, being updated with the current market trends and coming up with suitable services, efficiently marketing your goods and services either through social media or any other network which is in exquisite demand during the given period of time! All the steps that you take which would guarantee success of your company come under the umbrella term Execution in business. Coming up with customer attractions like discounts, giveaways, buy 1 get 1 free offers are examples of perfectly executing your business in the smoothest way possible! You want people to buy your products and these attractions are sure to get the flies in the trap! Of course, the word ‘Trap’ shouldn’t be literally considered here because you don’t want to impose your services on people rather make them opt for those willingly and with love. That’s exactly why, Execution as a concept turns out to be handy!

The example of KFC has been discussed in the earlier article as well. How it started with the sale of chicken and became a widespread branch including more variety in food items which is the way they executed their business to make it run for a long long period of time. They considered the needs of people and came up with convenient offers to keep fuelling the company. Effective planning in short, is what we term as Execution. By this, you are not expected to lay down a prospectus with phenomenal ideas, all clashing into one another, making it difficult for you to decide! You are not expected to stretch a wide sheet of paper and jot down ideas from different sources. It’s because experience teaches you all but if you are a perfectionist then you are free to do so. There is no obligation in the negation! 😂

By now, you must have understood the key to effective functioning of a company which lies in the way you run it- Execution. Yes, execution is similar to initiation. Yes, execution is beginning the task but it also carries a deeper meaning wherein the way you begin that task, too is involved.

Thank You For Reading!

Consumer Rights and Responsibilities

Consumer Rights:

  1. Right to safety:- Means the right to be protected from the marketing of goods and services that endanger life and property. The items and services acquired should not only suit their current requirements, but also their long-term interests. Consumers should insist on the quality of the items as well as the guarantee of the products and services before making a purchase. They should rather choose quality-marked items such as ISI, AGMARK, and so on.
  2. Right to choose:- Means the right to be guaranteed, whenever feasible, of access to a diverse range of products and services at a reasonable price. In the case of monopolies, it entails the right to expect good quality and service at a reasonable price. It also covers the right to fundamental goods and services. This is because the minority’s unfettered ability to choose might imply a rejection of the majority’s fair share. This right is better exercised in a competitive market when a wide range of items are accessible at reasonable costs.
  3. Right to be informed:- Means the customer has the right to be informed about the quality, amount, potency, purity, standard, and price of goods in order to defend themselves from unfair commercial practises. Before making a choice or decision, consumers should insist on receiving all available information about the product or service. This will allow him to behave intelligently and responsibly, as well as avoid falling victim to high-pressure marketing methods.
  4. Right to consumer education:- The right to gain the information and skills necessary to be an educated consumer throughout one’s life. Consumer ignorance, particularly among rural customers, is largely to blame for their exploitation. They should be aware of their rights and should exercise them. Only then can successful consumer protection be achieved.
  5. Right to be heard:- This means that the interests of consumers will be taken into account in relevant forums. It also involves the right to be represented in different forums established to examine the welfare of consumers. Consumers should create non-political and non-commercial consumer groups that may be represented in various consumer committees formed by the government and other entities.
  6. Right to Seek redressal:- Means the right to seek remedy for unjust trade practises or unethical consumer exploitation. It also includes the consumer’s right to a fair resolution of legitimate issues. Consumers must file a complaint if they have legitimate issues. Many times, their complaint may be of minor importance, but its influence on society as a whole may be significant. They can also seek resolution of their concerns via consumer organisations.
  7. Consumer Protection Act:- An Act to provide for the protection of consumers’ interests and, for that purpose, to create agencies for the prompt and effective administration and resolution of consumer disputes, as well as for matters associated therewith.” (From the Consumer Protection Act of 2019.) “An Act to provide for greater consumer protection and to make provision for the formation of consumer councils and other agencies for the resolution of consumer disputes and for issues connected therewith.”(From the Consumer Protection Act of 1986.) The Consumer Protection Act of 1986 aims to promote and defend customers’ interests against inadequacies and faults in goods or services. It also aims to protect consumers’ rights against unfair or restrictive trade practises. This act was passed in the Lok Sabha on December 9, 1986, and the Rajya Sabha on December 10, 1986, and it was signed by the President of India on December 24, 1986, and it was published in the Gazette of India on December 26, 1986.

Consumer Responsibilities:

  1. Ask Yourself!:-
  • Have you had any issues as a consumer?
  • Have you ever complained about an issue like this?
  • Do you aware that you may seek the help of a consumer organization to safeguard your interests?

2. Be Critically Aware:- The responsibility to be more alert and to question more – about prices, about quantity and quality of goods bought and services used.

3. Be Involved:- The obligation to be forceful – to guarantee that you, as a customer, get a fair bargain. Remember that if you remain passive, you will most likely be exploited.

4. Be Organized:- The duty to join hands and raise one’s voice as a customer; to fight as a group and to build the power and influence necessary to promote and safeguard consumer interests.

5. Practice Sustainable Consumption:- The responsibility to be aware of the impact of your consumption on other citizens, especially the disadvantaged or powerless groups; and to consume based on needs – not wants.

6. Be Responsible to the Environment:- The obligation to be aware of and comprehend the environmental repercussions of our consumption. We must acknowledge our personal and social duty to conserve natural resources and maintain the environment for future generations.

The concept of e-commerce first formally came forth in 1991, a time when internet practically did not even exist in India. Even worldwide, very few could fathom that the act of buying and selling goods and services over the internet, would be as widely accepted a practice, as it is today. By the late ’90s, people became aware of this thing called the internet, but for a majority of them, it remained a luxury they did not particularly need. In a truly Indian manner, it was only in 2002, when the IRCTC introduced an online reservation system, that the public widely accepted the internet as something fruitful, by which time a company named Amazon, was already beginning to create a few murmurs in the US.
Many people are also unaware that Rediff had been trying to capture the Indian market since the year 1999 and that IRCTC was the first company to create a successful portal.
Investments/ Developments
Some of the major developments in the Indian e-commerce sector are as follows:
