HARDWORK IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS

hard work is the key to success essay

“Focus, hard work is the real key to success. Keep your eyes on the goal, and just keep taking the next step towards completing it. If you aren’t sure which way to do something then do it both ways and see which works better.” – John Carmack

‘Hard work is the key to success’ is a statement that has been said to us over and over again and it may be commonly used in workplaces or schools. Team leaders, managers, coaches, teachers, and parents are most likely to use the statement than other people.
We are talking about consistent and focused work, which means saying no to distractions for a long time, without expecting fast results. Be patient and believe in the process while changing your strategies and approach, and try new things while you stick to your initial vision. Success takes strategic actions in the right direction to get there and it does not happen by chance or overnight.

Hard work is the most important key to success. Achievements without hard work are impossible. An idle person can never gain anything if they sit and wait for a better opportunity to come. The person who is working hard is able to gain success and happiness in life. Nothing is easy to be achieved in life without doing any hard work.

Failures are sometimes a part of the journey to the success, but in the end of the day, it is all about how hard you have worked on the right thing and this will get you closer to your goal.

Most of the successful individuals had put in enough productive work before they received success in return. Just by working hard on what you believe in, you can understand its true value. That’s when you start to respect the work itself and when you start to learn important life lessons.

You learn to appreciate all you have, but in the meantime, you learn to be patient, to take action instead of waiting and take responsibility for anything you have or don’t have in your life.

Hard work is the key to success! #TuesdayThoughts #TuesdayMotivation #charitytuesday | Hard work beats talent, Hard work quotes, Hard quotes

Hard work helps you overcome procrastination, insecurities, fear of failure and bad habits, and it gives you a purpose.

There is nothing else that brings more results and progress on a consistent basis than the hard work. The action itself leads to more action. At any moment of the day, you are building and make sure your journey continues. When you see the results of your own work, you feel grateful, accomplished and truly satisfied with what you are doing. That makes the whole process really enjoyable and you find the strength to persevere.

Never doubt the power and necessity of hard work! Create your strategy, make your plan and take the first step towards success today. You are not gonna regret it! Work your way up!

Hard work is a great quality. All work is noble. Work is worship. Hard work is the key to success. We can progress by doing hard work. Those countries whose citizens are hard-working make great progress.

An idle person depends too much on chance. He thinks that some miracle will happen and he will become rich and prosperous. But this is not possible without hard work.

All great men of the world were very hard-working persons. By hard work, man progresses and the country progresses. Seventy years ago, Japan was a backward country. Today, Japan is one of the most prosperous countries of the world. This prosperity has been possible by means of hard work. We should all, therefore, work hard to achieve success.

Quotes: Hardwork Is The Key To Success

So the hard work, together with the time it takes, is a must on your journey to success. It makes you who you have to turn into in order to live the better life that’s awaiting for you. What’s more, the harder you work on your dream, the more confident you become.

The very first key to success is to make a plan. This means having a clear picture of what a successful life looks like to you and putting together a well-defined set of goals to get you to that life. Planning well starts with figuring out what you want and writing it down in detail.

Every one of us has goals in life. To fulfil the goals we need to be hard working. Sitting idly does not help fulfilling one’s aim. We all must respect the chance we get in life. Respecting the chance means doing hard work.

We must not fear failure. Failure is natural to our life. When we fail, we must not stop working hard. We all should believe in ourselves and keep trying hard until we achieve our aims.

We can work hard if we have the determination and focus in life. Concentration in work is very important. If one concentrates fully while doing work, the work gets finished successfully and very soon. We must work to increase our concentration level. Hard work is very much important to develop our concentration power.

To develop the sense of hard-working in children, parents or teachers should tell them the stories of successful persons of a country. The children should choose a role model for their life so to focus on their own life. This will help them study hard with interest.

Success + Hard work = More Success!

How to be successful in life?

There are 8 very simple rules that you can follow to become truly successful.

Be Passionate

And do what you for love. If you don’t love it, then why do it? If we build careers or continue in jobs that aren’t our passion, we’re selling ourselves short. It’s like the guy that is a tech consultant that wanted to be the lead singer of a band. I’ve written about love and careers before and I think that the takeaway here is that if you do what you want to do, you will be more creative, more motivated, more tuned-in, and much more likely to be very financially and personally prosperous. Katherine Hepburn said it best.

Work Hard

Don’t ever fool yourself success comes from really hard work. And you might find that although you’re doing all of the heavy liftings, there is satisfaction in a job well done. But remember that you need to rely on others, so make sure that you surround yourself with colleagues that share your same work ethic.

Be Good

Focus always proceeds success which is not possible without a clear emphasis on what matters most. And leaders constantly need to remind themselves of this vital truth. Focus requires the pursuit of a mission and vision.

Push the Limits

Don’t constrain yourself to think inside of the box and don’t allow fear to get in your way. Today, people expect more than ordinary so you need to be extraordinary to get noticed and build strong relationships with your target market. Whether you sell a product or service, you must deliver the utmost experience.

Focus

And by that, I mean damn good. Successful people strive for greatness, not mediocrity. So push yourself (and your team) to ensure that you’ve reached your ultimate potential. And be sure to celebrate your wins, that not only breeds confidence among your team, it will keep your colleagues engaged and also will keep your clients or customers enfranchised. If you haven’t read the book From Good to Great, grab a copy.

Serve

Customer service excellence has always been and will always be one of the critical competitive advantages for any business. Meeting your customer’s needs will help you build a very strong and memorable brand. Be responsive, listen, and observe then you will create value. Learn from mistakes in service.

Create Ideas

In addition to service: ingenuity, authenticity, and forward-thinking will ultimately drive your brand. Aspiration is part of the creative process.
You must always continue to innovate, especially in a competitive market space. Push the envelope when it comes to ideation.

Be Persistent

Business development and entrepreneurship should be built out of love and any great love requires passion and persistence to capture your dream. Although you will experience setbacks and failures, you will also find success and triumph.

BOOK REVIEW:-

Overall the book is just beyond fabulous The characters, the narration and everything seems to be perfect. I personally loved the character of Lily and Atlas. Lily’s strong decision and ability to do justice to herself and her daughter was remarkable. The narration was so strong that you will personally think of yourself in the characters place.

Firstly while reading the book I thought it will be just an average but as soon the book started every single page hooked me to read more and more. Especially I loved the narration it was just awesome. The character of Lily was so very incredible. Atlas has great chemistry with Lily like after so long they had the same feelings for each other.

This is the must read book though sometimes the story didn’t bother me but it was such a great piece of writing that can’t be expressed in words. I hadn’t given the spoiler because it would be far better to read and enjoy it at the same time.

Termination Built An Entrepreneur!…

There was a village on the banks of river Ganga. There lived a guy named Dev. He was the son of a farmer. Since his childhood, he used to manage agricultural work along with his studies. He was a scholar. He always acquired 1st rank in his school. Though he was born in a poor family, he was very confident and never let poverty come in the way of his talent. When he grew up, he scored very good marks in his 12th grade and acquired admission in one of the best engineering colleges.
During the course of engineering, he always shined. He was top in studies, extracurricular activities. He always led activities and programs from the front. There was a time when he had no money to pay the college fees, at that time, everybody in college, teachers, as well as students, helped him to pay the fees. On that day, he felt so blessed to have such amazing people with him. In the final year, he was going through many job interviews, few companies didn’t like him, few he rejected by himself. Then one fine day, a car manufacturing giant company grabs him giving a thick package. He was happy as well as excited for this experience.
The atmosphere of the company was very much new for him. He was appointed in the design and automation department. He was so happy to work with this automobile giant. Design and programming always had a special place in his heart. He was working hard, doing all the tasks given with full enthusiasm. Whenever he had doubts, he used to go to his colleagues without any hesitation. He was improving his knowledge day by day. He was a great team member. He always helped his teammates and made impossible tasks possible. His team was also awarded as the best team of the year by the board. Within a year, he got a promotion for his performance and now he was working as a team lead on the project.
One day, his department received an order of a new design. Competitors of the company were manufacturing an electrically automated car and they were about to launch it in a month. Now the task for Dev and his team was to design the required model in 15 days, so that manufacturing team can pull up their sox and manufacture and launch the car before the rival company does. It was a mammoth task for such a short duration of time and the thing was HOD of the design department was on leave for 2 months. Now the responsibility was totally onto Dev. Each of his teammates knew that this task is impossible, so they were very sad and frustrated, but Dev didn’t give up. He backed himself, boosted his team and now everyone was ready to give their best shot. Dev and his team worked night and day continuously for 8 days. On 9th day, they finalised the design with advanced features than the rival model. On 12th day, his design got approval from the manufacturing department. On day 14, m/f department was at their job. Manufacturing department worked hard, night and day, even design department helped them to make it quick. Everyone from both the departments was giving their best shot. All these efforts turn out to be fruitful and their model was on the floor on 28th day, two days before rival’s launch.
The model launched became very much successful. They captured the market with huge sales. Everybody was praising the design and manufacturing team leads. Dev and his friend Joy(manufacturing team lead) were very happy watching their efforts turning into a success. Even the board of directors called them and praised them for their work.
Everyone in the company was very happy except the two HOD’s, one of the design department and other of the manufacturing department. As they came back from a business tour, this was a surprise with a shock for them. Two newly joined juniors of their department made such impossible project possible. Now they could see their position in danger. Instead of praising Dev and Joy for their work, they kept on demoralising them. They keep on bashing them for no reasons. All they could see was the new car project they made successfully. Bringing them down became the motto for both HOD’s. Both of them had a good hold on the board of directors. They used to listen to the suggestions given by them. Then one day, both the HOD’s unitedly prepared fake account papers stating about the fraud of 50 crores in the manufacturing and design department for the electrically automated vehicle project. They even compromised a few employees promising them for promotion. They presented these papers in front of the board of directors. Board could see evidence along with witnesses. Even the BOD knew somewhere that Dev and Joy can’t do this, but they had solid evidence in front of them. Both Dev and Joy tried to convince them that they are innocent but failed. So both of them were proven guilty and were terminated from the company. They fought the case in the court and these took several years.
When they got a clean chit, both of them tried to get a job. But no company was ready to give them a job as per their past records. They felt so helpless. They were suffering for the crime they didn’t even commit. They kept on trying for a job for a year but failed.
One day, they decided to start their own venture. They bought a place on lease and began their journey. Dev used to design the product and Joy used to manufacture them. At first, they were not getting much response from the customers. But with bits and pieces and a lot of hard work, they settled themselves in the market. They focused on laser cutting business. Many automobile companies tied up with them for cutting of raw materials. After a few years of hard work, they became a renowned name in the laser cutting industry. Later they expanded their business to two-wheeler manufacturing and then four-wheeler manufacturing. Now there was nothing stopping them. They kept going working hard. After a few years and a lot of hard work, they captured the automobile market on a larger scale. People could only see vehicles of their company on the road. There came a time when the automobile giant which threw them out was at a heavy loss. It was about to shut down. But at this time, both Dev and Joy showed that they have a big heart and bought the company. The company which threw them out with false allegations got a new life only because of them. Success couldn’t be any better than this for Joy and Dev.

Your work is your definition

Vaishali Singh (Cheenu Singh Rathore)

Your work is your identity, your work is everything.

I want to tell you that, your work ethics, the way you work is everything, a person is only identified by his or her actions, the things he or she has done, the values he or she has given to the society.

Life is like an illusion, no one has discovered the real meaning of life yet. We don’t even know why the God has created this world, and what is the purpose of life, but one thing I have observed so far is that your words are imperishable even after life, people will remember you by your work ethics by the values you have given to them, by the words you’ve spoken out, and it’s explicit that no matter how intelligent you’re unless you haven’t done anything no one would value your sayings.

A person is not identified by the cast he or she has born in, not by the amount of money he or she earns, not by the brands he or she wears, not by the phone he or she uses, a person is identified by his or her karmas only. There is no scale to measure one’s intelligence, like you can’t judge somebody’s intelligence based upon his or her English speaking skills, language is just a medium of conveying feelings or nothing else.

Now, I am sharing 2 examples down below to convey my message:-

(I) A.P.J. Abdul Kalam :- We always remember him as Missile Man of India, for his work and development of ballistic missile, as a visionary, a hardworking, a pragmatist, a great leader and as a person who has influenced the life of many. We never remember him by his cast, by his face, by the car he used to drive, or by the brand he used to wear.

Let’s take another example of an extremely popular writer named Premchand, he was famous for his modern Hindi- Urdu literature. He is one of the most honoured writer of the Indian subcontinent, and regarded as one of the foremost Hindi writers of early 20th century. Premchand’s writing are very famous till date, as you have definitely read some of his stories in your textbooks, many of the directors filmed Premchand’s stories as series and aired them on television. For your ease let me tell you that he was a very simple man, he never had the most expensive clothes, and a writer named Harishankar Parsai wrote a story named “Premchand ke phate joote” / Premchand’s torn shoes” about him, that story was an irony on Premchand, in which Harishankar Parsai wrote that Premchand was a very grounded and simple man, in the story Harishankar Parsai highlighted Premchand’s personality in a way as he wanted to show that Premchand wasn’t an ostentatious person, in simple words he wasn’t a show off favourite person. Once he got clicked a picture with his wife and in that picture his shoes were torn out, and the writer used that incident as the story he plotted as PREMCHAND’S TORN SHOES, eventhough he didn’t supported him if you will read it in depth you would understand that it was an ironical story, anyway I don’t want to bother you much about Premchand and Harishankar Parsai but my motive of stating it here was to make you understand that your personality builds with your work not with your dressing sense or the things and the stuff you have.

The world will never remember you by the things and stuff you have, people will always remember you by the work you’ve done. – Vaishali Singh.

Social media: a bane or boon

Vaishali Singh

Social media is creating a sense of competence in people’s mind, and this competition is making people ungrounded, it’s becoming the major reason of mental crisis these days, amidst this pandemic COVID- 19 outbreak people are not engaged in more productive tasks and in order to utilize their energy and satisfy the curiosity of exploring life they prefer to log in to the social media applications and wasting all their time scrolling their mobile phone’s screens endlessly, but have you thought of the consequences of using of these useless mobile applications which are distracting you from doing the necessary tasks and making you lazy and feel unproductive. The way social media is affecting your mindset is horrible, the moment you wake up, you take up your cell phone, and keep checking the notifications you’ve received overnight, which is highly unhealthy for your mental health, social media is making you more like a robot and your cell phones are becoming your masters, you just keep following the notifications you receive whole the day, the over usage of social media affects your sub conscious mind and your sub conscious plays the major role in shaping up your thoughts and mindset, which is directly proportional to the actions you take to acheive your dreams, but it’s over usage tires your brain and reduces your chances of executing the important work tasks. So, this is how your cell phones are becoming the reason behind your failure, but you’ve probably heard that every coin has two faces similarly it’s up to you that how you use something whether it’s your cell phone, the internet access you have or your social media account, if you use it to fulfil your purpose, to acknowledge yourself, to educate yourself, to fulfill your dreams then it can play the role of BOON in your life but if you use that same cell phone, that same social media just for passing the time, reading the memes, reacting on the posts endlessly, watching the comedy videos, in simple words, (seeking the temporary pleasure) instead of utilising your time in executing the important tasks, then it can become the BANE of your life. You won’t realise it today, you will notice the outcomes of your actions overtime and only then when you’ll notice your actions keenly. Now, while reading this blog post a question would definitely arise in your mind and that is, what can you do to prevent your life from getting controlled by the social media, the answer is very simple it’s impossible to change your life overnight, but the continuous efforts you put overtime can help you to change your life for better, now you have to make a proper schedule and would have to set a goal for yourself that will keep you motivated, just uninstall the unnecessary applications and data from your mobile phone, and start working on the path of your dreams right away.

What it takes to become a PRO?

The Difference Between Professionals and Amateurs

It doesn’t matter what you are trying to become better at, if you only do the work when you’re motivated, then you’ll never be consistent enough to become a professional.

The ability to show up everyday, stick to the schedule, and do the work — especially when you don’t feel like it — is so valuable that it is literally all you need to become better 99% of the time.

I’ve seen this in my own experiences…

When I don’t miss workouts, I get in the best shape of my life. When I write every week, I become a better writer. When I travel and take my camera out every day, I take better photos.

It’s simple and powerful. But why is it so difficult?

The Pain of Being A Pro

Approaching your goals — whatever they are — with the attitude of a professional isn’t easy. In fact, being a pro is painful.

The simple fact of the matter is that most of the time we are inconsistent. We all have goals that we would like to achieve and dreams that we would like to fulfill, but it doesn’t matter what you are trying to become better at, if you only do the work when it’s convenient or exciting, then you’ll never be consistent enough to achieve remarkable results.

I can guarantee that if you manage to start a habit and keep sticking to it, there will be days when you feel like quitting. When you start a business, there will be days when you don’t feel like showing up. When you’re at the gym, there will be sets that you don’t feel like finishing. When it’s time to write, there will be days that you don’t feel like typing. But stepping up when it’s annoying or painful or draining to do so, that’s what makes the difference between a professional and an amateur.

Professionals stick to the schedule, amateurs let life get in the way. Professionals know what is important to them and work towards it with purpose, amateurs get pulled off course by the urgencies of life.

You’ll Never Regret Starting Important Work

Some people might think I’m promoting the benefits of being a workaholic. “Professionals work harder than everyone else and that’s why they’re great.” Actually, that’s not it at all.

Being a pro is about having the discipline to commit to what is important to you instead of merely saying something is important to you. It’s about starting when you feel like stopping, not because you want to work more, but because your goal is important enough to you that you don’t simply work on it when it’s convenient. Becoming a pro is about making your priorities a reality.

There have been a lot of sets that I haven’t felt like finishing, but I’ve never regretted doing the workout. There have been a lot of articles I haven’t felt like writing, but I’ve never regretted publishing on schedule. There have been a lot of days I’ve felt like relaxing, but I’ve never regretted showing up and working on something that is important to me.

Becoming a pro doesn’t mean you’re a workaholic. It means that you’re good at making time for what matters to you — especially when you don’t feel like it — instead of playing the role of the victim and letting life happen to you.

How to Become a Pro

Going about your work like a pro isn’t easy, but it’s also not as complicated or difficult as you might think. There are three steps.

1. Decide what you want to be good at.

Purpose is everything. If you know what you want, then getting it is much easier. This sounds simple, but in my experience even people who are smart, creative, and talented rarely know exactly what they are working for and why.

2. Set a schedule for your actions.

Once you know what you want, set a schedule for actually doing it.

You want to set a schedule based on actions you can do, not results that you want.

3. Stick to your schedule for one week.

Stop thinking about how hard it will be to follow a schedule for a month or a year. Just follow it for this week. For the next 7 days, don’t let distractions get in the way.

Setting a schedule doesn’t make you a professional, following it does. Don’t be a writer, be writing. Don’t be a lifter, be lifting. For one week, do the things you want to do without letting life get in the way. Next week, start again.

Once you get at the top there is no coming or looking back because when you reach there it becomes more of habit .that you cannot leave .

WHAT MOTIVATES OUR ATHLETES

Modern sportsmen became celebrities with more fame than movie stars and singers. They earn millions and obtain exclusive brands deals with Adidas, Puma, and Pepsi.
People see professional athletes as idols. Many of them started with nothing and become highly successful due to dedication and hard work. Famous athletes inspire and motivate people to go after their dreams and not be afraid. But sometimes we forget, that world-famous sportsmen are still humans: they also need to motivate themselves to achieve more.
Here are the main reasons top athletes stay motivated:
1. CompetitionOne of the most reasons popular sportsmen work incredibly hard to raised their skills and performance stats is competition with other athletes.
Let’s use the example of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. They are two outstanding footballers who play for the different teams. They both have numerous awards and million-dollar paychecks. Even though everyone portrays them as rivals, they do not have any conflicts in real life, they use the accomplishments of each other as motivation and incentive to be better.
2. Desire to Be BetterTo regular people, it may seem that famous sportsmen like Virat Kohli (cricket) or Serena Williams (tennis) have perfect lives. They, indeed, have everything a person can possibly need: luxurious mansions, expensive clothes, and sports cars. However, when you achieve all these things, you only want more. That is why rich sportsmen buy numerous houses, expensive clothes, and accessories. A person’s desires cannot stay the same: they can only grow.
3. Fear of FailureAnother thing that motivates athletes to always be on top of their game is a fear of failure.
It is a known fact: it is difficult to reach the top, but it is very easy to fall to the bottom.
Look at Diego Maradona, one of the greatest footballers in history. He had everything, money, fame, talent. But he started using drugs and failed the dope test twice. All the world watched him fall. This traumatic experience forced him to end his football career. Fear of failure is not the best motivator, but it is very effective.
As for the tricks that sportsmen use to stay motivated, they are the same methods that work for everybody:
1. Discipline
One of the foremost effective tricks that employment for everyone is discipline. When someone has a busy schedule and each minute is valuable, there is usually no room for depression and laziness. As we all know, famous athletes have busy lives with practices every day during the season. Disciple helps to remain on track and remember what their goals are.
2. Pleasure
We have just discussed the importance of discipline, and now it is a pleasure that matters. One does not go without the other: it is all about finding the balance.

Even for such strong-minded people as professional athletes, it would be impossible to always have a tight schedule with no rest. Finding something that brings you pleasure is crucial.
An athlete can be exhausted from a difficult sports season, but a couple of weeks on vacation with family and friends can change everything. When a person is stressed and apathetic, the best solution is rest. It will help to revive strength and find the motivation again.
3. Setting High Goals
Last, but not least: athletes know how to dream big. We have mentioned that desires only grow with success. That is why formulating the goals correctly is key. And professional sportsmen, who have achieved everything through hard work and dedication, know exactly what they want and are not afraid to take it.

WORK HARD OR WORK SMART? LET US SAY BOTH.

Work Hard but Smartly.

Hard work consumes much time, is exhausting, outdated as they say, involves more physical than mental application but adds to the experience of our work. It makes us wise as we understand where to save time, what not to do and how to do things. It builds determination, persistence and perseverance. The world is always productive; we sometimes fail to see it.

The surprising thins is that we try, we fall, we learn, and then we get up to do it right. We are not born with an inserted mechanism in our brain that we start smart work immediately from childhood. There is no alternative to hard work as it is the building block of smart work for ordinary people. Once we built it, we become efficient. So, the first step towards success is hard work. On the next level, we must apply our brains to do work smartly. Because we can only work for limited hours of a 24-hour day and someone is always willing to work more than us. So, the trick that gives us edge over others is that we become more productive in less time.

There is one thing that escapes most of us. People who are into smart work do it intuitively. It is in their character. Their experiences and the surroundings they lived in, built this character. These people have their eyes on their targets, and they make the most of the limited resources they have. In short, they utilise time and resources efficiently. They also strike a balance between work and life, develop time management skills, stay positive, mix creativity with physical efforts and have control over the outcome of their work.

Most importantly, they understand that there is a right time and a proper place for something. They wait for it and then apply smartness while remaining time they work hard. The ability to prioritise things is vital, and one must leave unnecessary tasks.

The movie ‘3-idiots can provide us with the best example of smart work. The central character would not study like a hard-working student who prepares notes, studies diligently for exams. This person would only pay undivided attention in lectures and understand concepts entirely, and that is smart work. As a result, he aced the exams and the people who worked hard also did well but not as good as him. So, it is clear that smart work gives us an edge. Students must understand that long hours into study not necessarily guarantee success but understanding of concepts, grasping the techniques in limited time does.

Hard work and smart work will go hand-in-hand. We must keep building relationships with people to create a strong network for ourselves. Sometimes, we don’t need to work at all; people do that for us and they key ingredient is our relationship.
