Welfare of fallen heroes’ families as well as soldiers, ex-servicemen & their dependents

It is the collective responsibility of the nation to ensure the welfare of the families of the fallen heroes, serving & retired soldiers as well as their dependents, whose unmatched sacrifice, commitment & patriotism is the bedrock of a safe and prosperous India. This was stated by Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh while addressing an event, organised by an NGO in Surat, Gujarat on December 30, 2023, to honour the valour & sacrifices of the fallen heroes, and extend support to their families.

Paying rich tributes to these bravehearts, Shri Rajnath Singh asserted that the nation will forever remain indebted to the soldiers who safeguard the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the motherland. He commended the Armed Forces personnel for successfully discharging their duties with the Government’s ‘India first, security first’ approach, stating that the people are able to contribute to nation building as they know that the borders are secure. He also expressed gratitude to the family members for producing “these diamonds whose shine illuminates the entire country”.

The Raksha Mantri drew parallels between the process of creating diamonds and the transformation of youth into extraordinary soldiers. “Just as very high temperature and pressure transforms carbon atoms into diamonds, the challenging circumstances, under which the soldiers serve the nation, shape the ordinary youth into diamonds. With their shine, these diamonds then protect us from darkness,” he said.

Shri Rajnath Singh took the opportunity to encourage business leaders to prioritise nation building over personal gains, emphasising that money should be viewed as a means and not the ultimate life goal. He also spoke of the historical significance of Gujarat and its role in the progress of the nation. “Gujarat is the birthplace of prominent figures such as poet Narsingh Mehta who united the then society through his devotion and literature; Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi whose ideals & principles ensured our freedom; Iron Man of India Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who strengthened the unity & integrity of the nation; and Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi who has raised India’s stature at the international level and has taken the nation forward on the path of prosperity and security. Last but not the least, it is also the birthplace of countless soldiers who bolster the security of our borders by risking their lives,” he said.

The Raksha Mantri added that the Government stands with the Armed Forces and is equipping them with the latest weapons and platforms to protect the nation from threats. He assured the nation that the military is ready to face every challenge and it will give a befitting reply to anyone who tries to cast an evil eye.

Their Sacrifice, Our Safety

Things are turning into spirals as we are moving forward, this year is giving us endless surprises with haunted gifts beginning from Corona Virus to natural calamities to deaths and a plethora of hazardous things. While we were dealing with the demise of a Bollywood personality (Sushant Singh Rajput) the media channels on the other hand flashed the news of battle which took place at the Line Of Actual Control (LAC) between India and China, where we have lost our 20 brave heroes.

Deadly Ladakh Clash

The clash took place at a disputed border site in the Galwan area of Ladakh, in the Western Himalayas. It is an area with an altitude of around 14,000 feet where temperature often falls below the freezing point, where the soldiers stand day and night inorder to maintain peace in the country. India says “the violent face-off” is an attempt by China to “unilaterally change the status quo” on the Galwan Valley, whereas Beijing accuses the Indian Army of “provoking and attacking Chinese personnel, resulting in serious physical confrontation. This is said to be the deadliest clash between the two Asian countries in decades. Indian Army said 20 of it’s soldiers have been killed whereas the China’s defence ministry have not confirmed any casualties.

The Dynamite Heroes

The soldiers who stood day and night as the strong pillars for the country, for their people, for peace and sovereignty, we tend to forget their brave stories because according to us soldiers are meant to die, they are not soldiers, they are statues made of stone who are known as watchdogs of the country, but I would like to shed some light on them and their stories. Below are the names of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for us.

TimesNowNews.com

One of the brave soldiers Ganesh Kunjam(27), had fixed his wedding during the visit to Kukurtola in Bastar region of the state(Jharkhand) and one of the soldier who was blessed with daughter was planning to meet her after seven months of her birth but unfortunately couldn’t. We should think about the families who send their children to become soldiers to fight for their country, we should think about their children who haven’t seen their fathers for months and about the wives who wait patiently for their husbands to return. Above all we should think about those courageous fighters who stand day and night, leave all their comfort, go through all the harsh weathers just to save their country, their people who can stay in peace. We will never understand their condition of pain and suffering but we can always remember them in our prayers and should also pray for their families. We should think about the time when their families wait for the soldiers to return but they welcome themselves in a coffin, about the tears that the mothers shed, about the loss that they have to bear. Words cannot describe their pain and their condition. But we should always keep this thing in mind that war, bloodshed, pain, poverty will never end untill our so called politicians will try to resolve it peacefully but we as the citizens of the country should always continue to maintain peace among ourselves and should always follow the rule of humanity.

One more attack = Indo-China WAR!!!

The relation between Indian and Chinese army are now being worse. India holds a record of never attacking any of the army first till date. Many near by countries think that India is weak and cannot attack first, but this is our spirituality and religion to avoid any fight, but when the things get worse there need to be done something. India never approach any army for fight it always keep the things calm and to solve the problem with words and not the wars. India always gave a extraordinary action in case of any mischief done by the opponents, India carried out many operations like:

  • Operation Vijay
  • Operation Meghdut
  • Operation Surya Hope
  • Operation Brasstackes
  • Operation Cactus and many more to list…

India also gave a very strong answer of the Pulwama attack. India has the strongest army and technology support from Russia and US.
