The defence ministry will stop the import of 101 items “beyond given timeline” to boost indigenous production according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mission of Atma Nirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India), Union minister Rajnath Singh said today. This would mean that the domestic industry will receive contracts worth almost Rs 4 lakh crore within the next six to seven years. The embargo will be implemented in phases between 2020 and 2024, the minister said.
The list includes high technology weapon systems like “artillery guns, assault rifles, corvettes, sonar systems, transport aircrafts, light combat helicopters, radars and many other items”, the Centre said in a statement
The list also includes wheeled Armoured fighting vehicles (AFVs), with an embargo date of December 2021, “of which the Army is expected to contract almost 200 at an approximate cost of over Rs 5,000 crore,” the ministry said.
The Navy is likely to place demands for submarines with indicative import embargo date of December 2021, of which it expects to contract about six at an approximate cost of almost Rs 42,000 crore.
For the Air Force, it is decided to enlist the LCA MK 1A with an indicative embargo date of December 2020. Of these, 123 are anticipated at an approximate cost of over Rs 85,000 crore, the government said. The ministry will identify more such equipment for import embargo.
The list has been prepared by the defence ministry after consultations with all stakeholders, including the Armed Forces, public and private industry, Mr SIngh said.
“This decision will offer a great opportunity to the Indian defence industry to manufacture the items in the negative list by using their own design and development capabilities or adopting the technologies designed and developed by the DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation) to meet the requirements of the Armed Forces,” the minister said.
All steps will be taken to ensure that timelines for production are met. This would involve a coordinated mechanism for “hand-holding of the industry by the Defence Services”, the minister said. The ministry will identify more such equipment for import embargo.
Since the beginning of the phase-wise upliftment of the coronavirus-induced lockdown, a question that has been frequently asked by people, especially students, across the country is when will schools and colleges reopen in India. All education institutions were closed across the country after the Centre imposed a nationwide lockdown to control the spread of the dreadful coronavirus, which is caused by SARS‑CoV‑2. However, a media report has now revealed that the Centre might soon unveil a phase-wise plan to reopen schools and educational institutes across the country between September 1 and November 14 later this month as part of final Unlock guidelines.
The schools and educational institutes across the country are closed since March 23, when the first lockdown to contain the spread of coronavirus pandemic was put in-place. Ever since, the teaching and learning activities are relying on online modes, whose success has been limited because of the uneven availability of smart-devices, specifically in the country’s hinterland.
According to a report in Economic Times, the specifics of the plan have been formulated by the group of secretaries associated with the Group of Ministers (GoM) on COVID-19 management, which is being headed by Health Minister and Member of Parliament from Delhi’s Chandni Chowk, Dr Harsh Vardhan.
The report quoting its sources said that central government will simply issue Broad Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) as for the opening of schools and educational institutions, with the final decision left to the respective state governments so as to decide when and how to restart the classroom teaching.
What does the Centre’s formulation of opening schools and educational institutes say?
It suggests that for the first fifteen days of the opening of schools, Class 10 and Class 12 students will be asked and guided to attend the school. Afterwards, the students of Class 6 to 9 will be brought back to the classrooms with restricted hours.
However, all sections of one class will not attend the school on the same day. Different sections of a class will have specific days assigned as for attending the schools.
The emphasis on the sanitisation of the classrooms remains the biggest highlight of the Centre’s formulation. Schools will be told to work in shifts – 8 to 11 AM and 12 to 3 PM – with an hour left for the sanitisation. So far there is no plan to bring the primary and pre-primary students back to the classrooms, and they will continue to be taught via online modes, The Economic Times reported.
The government officials have studied the countries such as Switzerland have brought back the students to classrooms, and the formulation has been designed on similar lines as for the classroom teaching of Indian students.
This four lettered word “LIFE” is the synonym of living and nothing else, don’t waste it about thinking over the things which have either happened in the past or more likely have not even happened yet, this is a constantly changing world, everything is temporary in this world even you and me, we are perishable, then what are you doing why are you wasting your life over thinking of the things which are just confined within your mind doors, they are not reality they just exist within in your mind most of the problems you have in your life have originated from overthinking, be in now and enjoy this moment, live this moment because this moment is life, don’t take it too seriously, don’t put too much pressure on your mind, don’t let the desire of a successful future destroy your present, if you think that a sad present can give you a beautiful life then you’re wrong because life is now and if you can’t make yourself happy being in this moment then how can you expect it from yourself that attaining a certain goals will make you happy? If something doesn’t satisfy you today then how can you think that it will give you a beautiful and peaceful life, most of the people destroy their life either thinking about their past or caring about their uncertain future, we human being have only 5 senses, we can never analyse what’s going to happen in the future the only thing which is in our hand is to take actions but we can never predict the result of our actions and most of times the way we perceive our future is not exactly how it turns out to be, now the current scenario of world is a good example of the uncertainty of life, no one knew that this would happened in the beginning of 2020 all of us had a tons and tons of plans for our new year but our plans got failed they turned out to be something called “LOCK DOWN” we are at our home today, probably many of us had a lot of plans and wishes with our family, or friends but today it’s not safe to step out of our homes unnecessarily, this is life man, this is the reality and nothing can change the fact no matter how many plans you make, no matter how much time you waste in figuring out your life, at the end you will have even more questions than before. So live your life instead of worrying.
More often the pressure of becoming successful, of attaining growth, success, money or fame encaptivate one’s mind mostly in their teen years when they are going through a lot of things from the physical changes in their bodies to the mindset changes the teen years of one’s life are the toughest and the most important years which transform a person’s life completely and the change he or she attains during this period remains with him/ her throughout their lifetime. It’s more important to analyse what’s wrong or right for one and to focus upon being better no matter what the circumstances are, 19 the last teen year which is followed by 18 the age when one becomes eligible for doing a lot of things as a person becomes adult at this age, it’s the time when one starts to think that he/she is getting older and wants to start their career, everyone has a lot of potential and a lot of skill set, thanks to this modern world where you have access to the smart devices and internet which can make you learn anything at your own pace and helps you enhance your skillset but the major problem comes into play that everyone these days has started following a rat race of working on social media, everyone wants those huge no.s in the form of followers, likes, subscribers, etc and everyone is putting so much of pressure on themselves to become the most successful and famous social media marketing influencer, but how to go with it if all the efforts, time and skill you’re putting into your social media handle is not getting served, it means it’s not getting viral, not engaging much audience and in the mean time it’s not making you feel happy about what you’re doing, then the answer to your problem is clear you’re meant to do something apart from this social media thing, because if it’s not making you happy then it won’t make you happy even in the future where perhaps you’ll get a lot of followers or fans because happiness doesn’t lies in serving others with content happiness only lies in enjoying the process of doing what you do, it might be possible that you’re not made to become an influencer probably you are destined to do something else and build massive success in that field, if you have also wasted a lot of years in pursuing a social media career and it’s not growing and not making you satisfied then it’s time to find and experiment what you love, the possibilities are that you may fail, but there are also the chances of success, and remember life is a series of experiments, a very famous quote by Thomas Edision “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” so by trying and failing ultimately you’ll figure out the method of trying and succeeding. And also remember if you’re a kid of 20 (or +2 or -2) that means from 17 to 22( or near this age group), then you’re probably in school or college, and it’s your time to take risks, experiment things in life because you have miles to go you cannot figure out everything at this age, you’re still a kid, you need to experience a lot of things do what you love and don’t associate it with success, money, fame just let it be your passion and don’t settle yourself, keep moving and experiencing.
On July 27, 2020, Government Of India banned the 47 more Chinese apps. It’s been nearly a month after the ban of the 59 new Chinese apps, taking the total number of 106 blocked mobile applications. The new apps include clones and different versions of some of the original apps, official sources said, adding that action may soon be taken against more Chinese apps operating in India. About a month ago the GOVt. banned apps such as TikTok, Uc browser, Helo, CamScanner, WeChat, Shareit, MiCommunity, for engaging in activities which are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defense of India, security of state and public order.
The new banned apps include Cam Scanner HD, and light version of censored apps such as Likee, Bigo Live, and Helo etc. It is believed thst the government is closely scrutinising other apps that have Chinese bearings. These includes top gaming apps.
The other reasons, the government is concerned about the data collection and data harvesting practices of these apps and feels that these processes may be prejudicial to the security of the country. The government has so far sent a long list of questions to Chinese app developers. Many of the companies are yet to respond to the questionnaire.

The guidelines given by the University Grants Commission (UGC) have become challenge in the Supreme Court. Today 31 students from various universities in 13 states and one union territory moved the top court. Amongst them, one is a COVID-19 patient. The UGC’s decision of postponing final-year exams till the 30th September 2020 becuase of the Corona pandemic is one of the main points of problem. Using the social media, students across the country have been demanding for the revised guidelines.
The petition has talked about the cancellation of final-year examinations for universities across the country. Results should be declared on the basis of past performance and internal assessment of a student, it says. The petitioners have also demanded that the mark sheets should be awarded and the degrees to successful students by July 31, 2020. The 31 petitioners have also demanded adoption of CBSE mechanism and providing of another chance to those dissatisfied with their marks.
Earlier on Saturday, Maharashtra Cabinet Minister and Yuva Sena President Aaditya Thackeray filed a writ petition in the court seeking relief for lakhs of students throughout the country. “Today Yuva Sena has filed a written petition in the Supreme Court with prayers to save lives of crores students, teachers, non-teaching staff and their family members by asking the UGC not to be stubborn about enforcing examinations when India has crossed the 10 lakh cases mark,” Thackeray mentioned. He further said that the academic excellence couldn’t be judged by one examination. “For academic excellence, we must calculate the aggregate marks of the past semesters. Beyond which, if students still feel the need to appear for an examination, they voluntarily may do so post COVID. The petition is for each and every student across the country, being forced to appear for an examinaton in an absolutely bizarre judgement of the situation by UGC and non-flexibility when it comes to human safety,” he said.
And sometimes in life the music playing in the background brings you back to the most beautiful days of your life, music is also known to bring the nostalgia, Some musical notes makes you feel a bit different, the closing credit (background music) of “Gortimer Gibbons Life On Normal Street” (a web series casts on Prime Amazon) is an example of such a of music, I’m in love with it, though this web series casted 12 or 13 years old children, but somehow I got so much connected to that series that it became my favourite series, at the end of the each episode they share a moral, and somewhere in this fast-paced world, we are losing our morals values and ethics, the show has casted the light on all aspects of life, it showed 3 friends, who are just young kids, but handles all the tough situations of life, the show has also showed the process of growing up and a tons of life lessons, I am very bad at watching web series and movies as well I don’t watch movies so often and when it comes to web series I never watch them, but somehow amidst this outbreak I got to see a web series called “Just Add Magic”, it was all about magic spell and cook book, it was the first web series which made me feel to watch the next episode and I completed this series within a very less amount of time, this web series awaked my interest in this magical illusion so I googled “web series like JUST ADD MAGIC” and just got this name “GORTIMER GIBBONS LIFE ON NORMAL STREET” on the top of the result so when I started watching it I liked it lesser than the first one but overtime this particular series somehow made me so attached to it, and especially the music which plays at the end of each episode. I’ve learnt a lot from this show, although I haven’t watched it all episodes yet but this song has gave me a lifetime memory.
So here in this blog I have mentioned the ways through which you can hack the 5 people rule which states that you’re the average of the 5 people you spend most of your time with. So to know more read ut till the end.
They say you’re an average of the 5 people you spend your most of the time with. It’s somewhere true that people have their influences on you, whether the wrong influences or the right ones and I have witnessed it through my eyes. I’ll take you to the time when I went to the University for the first time, I was highly motivated and very sincere, though I’m same today 😀 but I have seen that your friends or the people you spend your time with have impact on your mindset, and somehow they leave their prints on your subconscious, here the painting of the white wall rule comes into play, this particular rule states that, when you’re a kid your mind is as clean as a white wall, but overtime your experiences, the things people did to you and the things they’ve said to you paints your white wall with multiple colours and your mind or perhaps or subconscious mind start to put limits based upon your life experiences and the things done by the people, now to prevent your white wall or your clear mind to be painted by the wrong colours you have 2 options the one is to stay away from such negative people, but that’s not possible every time and the option 2 takes you to the spiritual concept and i.e. meditation, meditation can help you to get rid of all the unwanted collection of garbage you’ve collected overtime inside your head. Well I think, I got deviated from the topic I had to tell you about the 5 people rule, so let’s get back to the topic, it’s better to be alone than being with the wrong minded people, that means the ones who have different mindset, never be with them.
So what to do now?? You might be thinking this, to solve your mind puzzle I have some concepts, keep yourself busy in the stuffs you like and follow your dream path always keep working towards your goals and just Unfollow every single account on social media whether it instagram, whatsapp or facebook or any other platform which doesnt inspire you and follow the accounts which inspires you and pushes you to follow your dreams and the accounts which teaches you something or motivates you, and also be involved in some of the entertaining activities to keep your mind healthy and happy, it was the 1st hack, now listen to the podcasts, watch great and valuable content, read good stuff reading is the major factor in the path of success, learn new things through internet also do sometimes write your thoughts out, share your knowledge and experiences with the world. Talking to your parents and family members, spending time with your siblings, cooking and consuming the right food to keep your body and mind fit, do yoga and workout, just spend your whole time with yourself and do what you like to do, no matter what is is but never get influenced by the wrong things ( I hope you’ve got my point), there is a phase in our lives where we get attracted towards the wrong things, but deep down our heart knows what’s right or what’s wrong, the choice is always ours. The time we don’t value is the time we’ll crave to get back later, remember this, lil bud.
All these things can help you to hack the people rule where you cannot be physically connected to them but can be digitally connected thanks to this modern digital world.
