Madhubani Art

Madhubani is also known as Mithila Painting is Indian style painting. It is famous folk painting originated from the Madhubani town in Jitwarpur village and Ranti village of Mithila region in Bihar. It is practiced especially by the women of the Mithila region of the India and also some parts of Darbhanga district. It is painted using twigs, brushes, fingers , and match sticks. It is painted using natural dyes and pigments. It specialty is the geometrical patterns. This is most profoundly done on freshly plastered mud walls and hut floors. It is very well know for the representation of the ritual content representing festivals and religious rituals. It has also its form established in some parts of Nepal.

Its various colors are extracted naturally from various natural resources. The Yellow color from the turmeric and marigold flower. They extracted Dark green from the leaves of the plants . As it was a vibrant color it was mostly used for bordering the the picture. Black was extracted from the coal powder which was used as a base for the painting . Rice powder served as a source of color for the White color. Indigo flowers provided the indigo color. Red roses was used for the red color.

It is a painting that comes under the category of Folk art. This folk art was started for the utility purposes or mostly for ritual kind if things. This Madhubani painting  primarily depict the nature and the Hindu mythological figures and the themes are generally associated with Hindu deities, fish, birds, animals, natural objects like the sun, moon and religious plants like Tulsi plant or Banyan tree. Each symbol has different meaning ,like fish symbolizes fertility ,wealth harmony .

Tantrik Painting is described as the another form of Madhubani painting . It depicts the religious texts and characters related to it. Its styles includes the manifestations of the Hindu deities like Maha Kali, Maha Durga, Maha Sarawathi, Lakshmi, Ganesh . Complex mathematical patterns were used in Madhubani paintings makes them more intriguing and special.

Five Feet Apart

Its a Romantic story written by  Mikki Duaghtry, Rachael Lippincott and Tobias laconis . This film was directed by Justin Baldoni . Stella Grant and Will , who are the victims of cystic fibrosis fall in love with each other . Stella meets Will for the first time when he gets admitted for a medication for the bacterial infection in his lungs. It is strictly to be adhered that the CF’s patient must maintain a distance of 6 feet apart to avoid cross infection.

Will was first not interested in his treatment and life but eventually he agrees to the treatment because of his desire to live a life with, and for Stella whom he fell in love with. What kind of love the life has offered them where you can never know or even feel the warmth of the breath of your loved ones. Both start meeting each other in secrecy.

A time comes where Stella wants to see the lights along with Will after she gets devastated seeing her best friend die . Two of them leave behind the worries and world behind and goes on to see the lights. On the same time Stella receives a donor . As she was missing from the hospital and not responding to the messages , they contact Will to inform about her donor. Stella refuses to take it as she does not want to extend her life leaving behind Will . But Will convinces her to take the transplant where she unfortunately falls inside the frozen pond.

Will rescues her and performs CPR as he could not see her breathing . Miraculously she was not infected from him and the surgery becomes a success. When she wakes up ,Will decorated the outside of her room with lights which she wished to watch with him. She saw him standing outside the glass ,where he says that his drug trial isn’t working and doesn’t want her to see him die. He asks her to close her eyes for him to make a move and he walks away. It is fortunate that both their deaths are not shown.

Series have a major impact on the teenage world. But as of now due to the outbreak of COVID the Series world gained the population among various age groups. One of the most favorite and most popular among them is the Vampire Diaries. The series is set in the fictional town of Mystic Falls were Vampires lead the as the main characters of the series. It is a Horror, Supernatural and fantasy drama.

It is a series consisting of 8 seasons with 171 episodes. The story circles around the Mystic falls charged with supernatural history . The story follows the life of Elena Gilbert the main lover girl who falls in love with Stephan , an 164 year old vampire. The story creates a love triangle between Damon , the brother of Stephan , Elena and Damon. The story continues in which a critical condition of Elena turning into a Vampire , which she despised more to live like.

Both the Salvatore Brothers guard her as the apple of her eyes . Damon and Stephan long back fell in love with the same girl Katherine , which turned out to be wrong path of their lives . As the story moves they get entangled again in the same situation . History got repeated . In each season the strength and the nature of the enemies get changed. Maybe it would be more appropriate to say that the complexities increased.

In midst of these Elena faces a lot of loses of her lovable ones. Atlas she is left with her brother Jeremy Gilbert . The story was made alive more because of her close friends, Bonnie – the Benet Witch and Caroline Forbes who was also turned into a vampire in midst. The story not only consists of the vampires but also the Original vampire family, werewolves, hybrids, travelers, witches, immortal villains , Vampire hunters and many more characters. It is definitely a watch on list series .

Many may think about the 8 seasons and its overlong episodes . But once you start watching on , there is no going back . A binge watch is assured. You may also repeat watching the same from the first as if it turns out to be your first time . I suggest you all to watch on this and know the rest of the story . The pair that comes out at last may even surprise us. And I assure that we would really feel bad for some of their endings .

Books are if great friends to Human Kind. Reading Books is a healthier habit. There are different types of genres.

Divergent is the debut novel of American novelist Veronica Roth, published by Harper Collins Children’s Book in 2011.The book is trilogy . It consists of the parts Divergent, Insurgent and Allegiant. It was a debut novel of Veronica Roth. It can be best described as a young adult dystopian novel . Tris the main character of the book explores herself within a society of factions.

The world is divided into factions where the people ought to choose any one of the factions . The five factions include Candor, Abnegation, Dauntless,  Erudite, Amity. The people who does not belong to any category become faction less more or less the same as the untouchables. There comes a turn when Tris find herself as Divergent and opts for the Dauntless faction where her rest of the life belongs to. There comes the romantic chapter of her life with Four , her instructor.

Likewise her brother Caleb choose Erudite . Both choosing different factions broke their parents, out of which their father was a important person on the leadership of Abnegation. Though at first she struggles to fit in there , she strives through it through her perseverance . She also faces threat from her own co-fellows out of fear of her success. As the things move forward the Dauntless were subjected to serum made out of Erudite .The Erudite was under the leadership of Jeanine.

There comes the plot of Erudites attacking Abnegation with the soldier power of Dauntless . Being Dauntless For and Tris manages to avoid the compulsion from the serum and works out to find out what’s wrong out there. In the course field Tris looses her parents and she was also forced to shoot her own friend Will. On entering the Abnegation she comes to know about the truth behind the attack. They head back again to the Dauntless where they stop the attack of mind controlling on the Dauntless. The again move in search of rest of the survivors to Amity.

Chichén Itzá

Chichén Itzá is a Mayan city on the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico, which flourished in the 9th and 10th centuries CE. Under the Mayan tribe Itzá—who were strongly influenced by the Toltecs—a number of important monuments and temples were built. Among the most notable is the stepped pyramid El Castillo (“The Castle”), which rises 79 feet (24 meters) above the Main Plaza.

Petra

The ancient city of Petra, Jordan, is located in a remote valley, nestled among sandstone mountains and cliffs. It was purported to be one of the places where Moses struck a rock and water gushed forth. Later the Nabataeans, an Arab tribe, made it their capital, and during this time it flourished, becoming an important trade center, especially for spices. Noted carvers, the Nabataeans chiseled dwellings, temples, and tombs into the sandstone, which changed color with the shifting sun. In addition, they constructed a water system that allowed for lush gardens and farming

This Incan site near Cuzco, Peru, was “discovered” in 1911 by Hiram Bingham, who believed it was Vilcabamba, a secret Incan stronghold used during the 16th-century rebellion against Spanish rule. Bingham believed it was home to the “Virgins of the Sun,” women who lived in convents under a vow of chastity. Others think that it was likely a pilgrimage site, while some believe it was a royal retreat

Christ the Redeemer

Christ the Redeemer, a colossal statue of Jesus, stands atop Mount Corcovado in Rio de Janeiro. Its origins date to just after World War I, when some Brazilians feared a “tide of godlessness.” They proposed a statue, which was ultimately designed by Heitor da Silva Costa, Carlos Oswald, and Paul Landowski. Construction began in 1926 and was completed five years later. The resulting monument stands 98 feet (30 meters) tall—not including its base, which is about 26 feet (8 meters) high—and its outstretched arms span 92 feet (28 meters). It is the largest Art Deco sculpture in the world. Christ the Redeemer is made of reinforced concrete and is covered in approximately six million tiles. Somewhat disconcertingly, the statue has often been struck by lightning, and in 2014 the tip of Jesus’s right thumb was damaged during a storm.

Colosseum

The Colosseum in Rome was built in the first century by order of the Emperor Vespasian. A feat of engineering, the amphitheater measures 620 by 513 feet (189 by 156 meters) and features a complex system of vaults. It was capable of holding 50,000 spectators, who watched a variety of events. Perhaps most notable were gladiator fights, though men battling animals was also common. In addition, water was sometimes pumped into the Colosseum for mock naval engagements. However, the belief that Christians were martyred there—namely, by being thrown to lions—is debated. According to some estimates, about 500,000 people died in the Colosseum. Additionally, so many animals were captured and then killed there that certain species reportedly became extinct.

Taj Mahal

This mausoleum complex in Agra, India, is regarded as one of the world’s most iconic monuments and is perhaps the finest example of Mughal architecture. It was built by Emperor Shah Jahān (reigned 1628–58) to honor his wife Mumtāz Maḥal (“Chosen One of the Palace”), who died in 1631 giving birth to their 14th child. It took about 22 years and 20,000 workers to construct the complex, which includes an immense garden with a reflecting pool. The mausoleum is made of white marble that features semiprecious stones in geometric and floral patterns. Its majestic central dome is surrounded by four smaller domes. According to some reports, Shah Jahān wished to have his own mausoleum made out of black marble. However, he was deposed by one of his sons before any work began.

BUBBLE BOY SYNDROME

What is more pathetic?  Being a victim or to witness your loved ones suffer?

SCID is also known as bubble boy syndrome. It is a disorder caused due to the lack of ability to produce B cells and T cells in the immune system. It can literally be called as the malfunctioning of the immune system. SCID is a genetic disorder which is prone to affect the male heritance of the generation. The person with SCID lacks their immunity where they cannot fight against even basic common cold.

Symptoms and cure:

Due to the lack of immunity the victim suffers from any kind of infection prone due to bacteria, virus, fungus etc… But very much prone to common diseases like Diarrhea, Liver disorder (hepatitis), skin infections Meningitis. Yes there is cure for it due to the advancement in medical science. Stem cell treatment or also known as Bone marrow transplant. It acts as a permanent cure to this disease. But early diagnosis is very much essential for increasing the survival rate.

LIFE OF DAVID VETTER:

The world prominently came to know about this disease after David Vetter. Parents of David Vetter were already expecting him to be inherited with this disease after losing their first son after 7 months of his birth to the same disease. So his parents decided to isolate him as soon as possible to a sterile environment. Though he spent early days of his life in Hospital, after some time he was able to live in his home with his parents inside a sterile bubble like chamber.  All the products sent inside like food, clothing’s were all steriled and then sent in. His parents were trying to give him a normal life by giving education, television and playroom inside it. Though at first he was unaware   of the importance later he came to know about the importance of the sterile bubble for his life survival. He was designed with a special suit by NASA which would allow David to walk out of his bubble and see the outside world. His sister Katherine was his donor to the bone marrow transplantation. Though the transplant was success it failed to give the expected result. He became prone to illness which when they found that the Katherine had traces of dormant virus which was undetectable in the screening. And finally he was dead and laid next to his late brother David Joseph Vetter III.
