startup-in a simple language

As you have seen above, let us explore the idea of startup in simple sense. Startup is simply coming up with a solution for earlier unsolved problems, or with a more enhanced solution than that of the solutions, which already discovered.

startups are the only way to bring up equality among all citizens, by providing equal opportunity for all of us to execute our own plans. But,I wonder!, how is it possible for all of us to make startup ? and How do they help in bringing up equality?. Cool…let’s us get into the thick jungle, slowly.

It’s really hard to come up with a whole new solution, but we definitely inherit the talent of adding colors to the existing product in our own style. This little glimpse added by us, keeps us apart from the whole crowd and paves a way full of opportunities. This is the ideology, which created a unique brand for desi chai, mobile dosa van, desi handicrafts and many more have emerged into promising brands. One thing in common is adding the local swag to every product and enriching it with our culture creates more opportunities for common man to sustain in this corporate world. There is a great necessity for all of us to promote our very businesses to the next level by analysing trends in the market and making appropriate changes for our products.

If startups have not emerged, it leads to dearth of job opportunities, in return leaves huge amount of youth unemployed. You know better, what are the problems to be faced being an unemployed ?. There is an other alarming effect of not coming up with startups. All the wealth will be not distributed uniformly and the flow of money ceases. The best example of this is one man being the fame since decades, the ambani being one of the master businessman and had occupied space in almost every area. The money directly or indirectly from a tiny village to metro city is being transferred to his account. In return, who knows the savings of ambani in banks and as well as the unliquified money in the form of valuable assets. The money from the whole nation reached heavily to one place. To disburse this money equally, it is necessary to come up with startups, but not merely with business. Because, business always cannot reward profits, but we have high opportunities to turn every startup into successful business as it has one unique feature which always helps us to be on top.

The above said format of startups are not very risky neither requires great outstanding intelligence. But, there is always necessary for bright minds to use their knowledge to discover whole new solutions for the problems not yet resolved and being haunting us since ages. There was no great amount of awareness among us regarding research, which was one of the vital base of strong startup. We are just being dwelled in struggle, striving to understand the academics, it is because of poor quality of teaching and educational practices. So, it must be our responsibility to take up new pathways by understanding the whole scenario.

we could able to create, only when we able to learn and apply what we learnt. In the process of pursuing studies by real life applications, enables us to find the gaps and new thoughts bloom in our minds to bridge that gaps. That is what innovation is..and with right vision and the ability to take it into the market makes a great startup…….however, so much glad , that most of the youth are turning towards this naya trend called startup swag…and turning their dreams into reality.

INVESTMENT IN THE STOCK MARKET FOR BEGINNERS

The stock market refers to public markets that exist for issuing, buying, and selling stocks that trade on a stock exchange or over-the-counter.  In simple terms, if A wants to sell shares of Reliance Industries, the stock market will help him to meet the seller who is willing to buy Reliance Industries.  A person can trade in the stock market only through a registered intermediary known as a stock broker. The buying and selling of shares take place through electronic medium.

There are two main stock exchanges in India where majority of the trades take place – Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE). Apart from these two exchanges, there are some other regional stock exchanges like Bangalore Stock Exchange, Madras Stock Exchange etc but these exchanges do not play a meaningful role anymore.

NSE is the leading stock exchange in India where one can buy or sell shares of publicly listed companies. It was established in the year 1992 and is located in Mumbai. NSE has a flagship index named as NIFTY50. The index comprises of the top 50 companies based on its trading volume and market capitalisation.  BSE is Asia’s first as well as the oldest stock exchange in India. It was established in 1875 and is located in Mumbai. BSE Sensex is the flagship index of BSE.

Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) is the regulatory body of the Indian Stock Markets. The main objective of SEBI is to safeguard the interest of retail investors, promote the development of stock exchanges, and regulate the activities of financial intermediaries and investors in the market. A stock broker also known as a dealer is a professional individual who buys/sells shares on behalf of its clients. In the stock market, stock broker is registered as a trading member with the stock exchange and holds a stock broking license. They operate under the guidelines prescribed by SEBI.

ADVANTAGES OF INVESTING IN STOCK MARKET:

  •  the stock market can make great money in a short time of period.
  •  Unlike other investments, such as real estate and CDs, investors can easily access money in the stock market.
  • Investing in the stock market can help in our entire financial portfolio.

DISADVANTAGES IN INVESTING IN STOCK MARKET:

  • Investors can expect daily volatility in the stock market, but large failures in the system are less common.
  • In the stock market, there are winners and losers. Winners can make much money, but those who lose can see all of their investment disappear.
  • Every time an investor decides to buy or sell shares, he or she will have to shell out a certain proportion as brokerage fees to the broker.

DU admission goes online

One of the most prestigious universities in India, Delhi University has received approximately 3.5 lakh applications for undergraduate (UG) courses this year, almost a lakh more from the last year. The Delhi University is one-stop destination for all stream students, be it commerce, science or humanities with top colleges like St.Stephen’s College, Miranda House, Hindu College, Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, Ramjas, SRCC, Sri Venkateshwar etc.

The reason for the high number of aspirants can be the admission portal being open for longer than usual, for about 10 weeks. The unprecedented situation due to the pandemic has also made the students who otherwise would have gone abroad to apply at DU. Also as the entrance examinations like NEET, JEE got delayed, the students registered for admission at DU. This has made the varsity to take the required measures to go online for admission this year and ensuring glitch-free, least cumbersome procedure.

It is also evident that the pandemic was unable to deter the students from other states to apply at DU (about 60% students). The semester will be online with no need for students to come to Delhi until the situation gets better. This Covid-19 pandemic has made it impossible to conduct the physical classes as social distancing is hardly feasible in the college campus.

The cut-offs are expected to be declared in the first week of October. The classes shall begin not before early November for the 1st year students of DU. For the students of second and third year, the online lectures have already begun in full swing from early August.

Say goodbye to procrastination today

Do you often procrastinate? Well, everybody procrastinates at times. Procrastination is however found to be more common in students. If you are a student and you keep pushing your assignments to the next day, to be done and in the end, you are stress-induced and often had to pull an all-nighter to finish your work before the deadline, then you are a hardcore-procrastinator. Anyway, there’s nothing much to worry as there are certain ways by which you can get rid of this habit of procrastinating, and put your life together. All that you have to do is just implement the ways mentioned below in your life, and change your life for the better.
1) Create a schedule – make a schedule, and plan you work beforehand so that you don’t have to break your head just before the deadlines. Mark on the calendar or set reminders on your phone as to how many days you have to devote to one subject to be studied before an exam or assignments to be done before the deadline arrives. Plan your timeline according to your work schedule and sincerely adhere to it.
2) Set achievable goals- Do not try to do the entire assignment in one day, otherwise, it would look like a daunting task to ever get completed, and in the end, you would find yourself procrastinating on your couch. So, it’s better if you divide your work into small chunks and work accordingly. For example, completing one chapter of English, per day or doing some part of an assignment in a day would be fruitful. Try to set your goals for a day, and try to achieve it at any cost. Do not go to sleep before completing your task. Make it a rule!
3) Stay away from distractions – while working on your assignment or studying for your exam, try your best to stay away from any distraction that might pull you out from your already prioritised schedule. So, it would be better if you put your phone out of your sight and use it once you are done achieving your goal for the day.
4) Reward yourself- the human brain gets a boost to function at it’s best if it gets tricked of being rewarded for its work. So, reward yourself every damn time you achieve your set goal for the day. For instance after completing a chapter, reward yourself by watching one episode of your favourite series. Tell yourself about it, and your work would be done in no time, as you would be filled with motivation with the thought of getting the reward.
5) Time management – managing your time plays an important role in deciding if you would be able to complete the given task before the deadline. In order to get a good night’s sleep and complete your work on time, you have to be very careful in allocating your time to the different tasks in a day. So, prioritise your work, and devote time accordingly. For instance, if you have a lot to cover for a specific subject before the exam day, you need to devote more time to it, and less to the subject you have already studied earlier.
Moreover, in order to complete your assignments, try to start doing from the one’s which you know would require more time than the rest. Start your work from the difficult part and then get to the easier ones. Once you complete the difficult assignments, you would get the motivation to complete the rest in no time. So, plan and use your time wisely.
Next time, if you find yourself
procrastinating, apply the above-mentioned ways in your life, and you would see the difference for yourself!

Vacations Over!

The European countries have finally decided to reopen the schools after months of shutdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Realizing the limitations of online learning, several countries are now finding ways to restart the classroom studies. The governments have brought forward various rules and regulations to minimize contagion in schools and protect the students from the virus attack. Let’s have a look on the different approaches that the countries are taking to reopen the schools in this “new normal”!

In Britain, the schools started opening in June and finally all years are back full time this week. The classes have been split into small groups or “bubbles”, with each group keeping a safe distance from the others to prevent any widespread infection. The recess periods are changed and the start times staggered, to prevent crowding. The face masks rules depend upon the lockdown situation in the area.

In France, the schools have opened from today September 1st. The masks are compulsory at all times, regular disinfection of classrooms and proper ventilation shall be ensured. The school attendance is mandatory though schools can temporarily shutdown according to the outbreak in the neighborhood.

In Germany, the schools started in early August with compulsory mask wearing for students except while sitting at their desks. The classes should keep to different places during the interval time. The doors and windows are kept to open at all times.

In Italy, the schools are set to get back on track from 14th September with new single desks being introduced to ensure a social distancing norms. Mask wearing is mandatory while entering and leaving the school, though can be removed during the lessons. Some secondary schools with larger class sizes say they will use a mix of distance learning and on-site teaching to prevent overcrowding

In Norway, the schools have reopened with normal routine and even the masks are not compulsory for the pupils. The break times are staggered and different classes have been assigned specific area of the playground. The students having symptoms of Covid-19 are required to stay at home and get tested.

The case of India is significantly different, with daily record-breaking high cases of Covid-19. The schools are shut and no reopening can be possible in the near future. For how long the students will have to stick to their screens for daily lectures is the million dollar question!

Never settle, without exploring.

Traveling around the world or along the brightest and darkest sides of things, both of them leaves us great experiences and adventures. sometimes, the adventure may also turns into tragedies, which ignite the fear within to take any risk again. Risk lies in everything, if we fear of risk and get settled, we can never explore the beautiful book called life and only remains at page one, untill we die.

It is inevitable that risks are part and parcel of our life, and they always haunts us every second from various dimensions. But our ability to tackle the risk and transform it into amusing opportunity, proves who we are.

Most of us don’t dare to think beyond, because of the risk associated from peer pressure and also from societal influence. But,before you settle down with your thoughts, before you come to a conclusion. Just explore as much as you can, as a free bird, where you can find your passion and can realize your true potential.

As being a student, most of us only fed to prepare for exams and to remember the formulas…explore the new ways of learning things beyond classroom. The greatest gift of our generation is internet and free open resources, which provided an opportunity to explore the cultures, ideologies, lifestyle and many more across the world. One innocent thing about the students are just being confined themselves to only stick to the academic curriculum and syllabus. But the harsh truth is that curriculum is designed in consideration with all your peers. What if majority of peer group is below average or worst performers ?.Obviously, the standard of curriculum is reduced to very minimal level in order to save the majority group. But, in this holocaust, why should bright students settle up with following degraded curriculum? This flaw in education system, not being able to provide flexible curriculum has turned many of the nations bright minds into mediocre.THIS IS WHY, TO THINK OUT OF BOX AND EXPLORE BEFORE YOU SETTLE.

This beautiful principle ” explore and settle ” not only confined to academics, it plays a vital role in shaping one as a person. We are made up of the influence of people, places, customs and traditions that surround us. If we able to interact with wide range of people and new places and customs helps us to really find our interests and helps to live the life to the fullest. Especially, the lifestyle of people influences us a lot and enables to grow in all aspects of life.

Beliefs and perception are also highly dependent on our experiences. sometimes, we end up following false notions and beliefs. The only way to get rid of that rut, is to explore the new pathways and compare our perception with those of others and having conversation with various members on your way, helps you to elude from myths and find a redefined solution. Some of the major problems related to sex, inferiority complex ,suicidal thoughts, discrimination cannot be solved by reading books, but only exploring until you realize on your own, without settling down with mediocrity.

Benefits of reading a book

Reading can easily become the most favourite recreational activity of children and even adults. One who reads often finds a friend in books. Some of the benefits of reading are-
1)Enriches vocabulary- the habit of reading enriches your vocabulary stock. Reading different books of different genres helps to build up your stock of vocabulary, ultimately helping you write better and become more creative. If you love creative writing, then the habit of reading is a must.
2) Improves concentration – Since reading a book requires a person to be focused on the story to understand it better, the habit of reading, therefore, increases your power of concentrating on one activity for a longer time. It helps in sustaining your focus on the story for a longer time, thus improving your concentration power which would ultimately, help you to remain focused on any work later.
3) A window to experience a new world- reading a variety of books makes you experience a world very different from yours. It thus acts as a window to experience an unseen, unknown world.  You get to learn about people, places and events outside your own experience. Reading thus, altogether transports you to another world. Not physically ofcourse!
4) Refreshes mind- reading a good book or a self-help book when you feel low, or depressed helps you to cope up with your situation and instantly puts you in a better mood. Reading a thriller when you are bored would refresh your mind and would also help you escape from your reality for a while. It acts as the best way of escapism. Try it and see it for yourself!
5) Reading develops empathy- the more you read literary fictions, the more you would find yourself in the story. Some characters would seem relatable to you while other characters would make you empathise with them. Reading is a completely enlightening experience at times as you begin to understand the writer’s perspective, feel the emotions of the characters presented in the story and flow with the narrative like the events are actually happening in front of your eyes. Reading thus increases your power to empathise with others and also broadens one’s imagination.
Reading is, therefore, a fun activity altogether. People who rarely read books are missing a lot in their life. Next time you feel bored or depressed just get a book and start reading, you’ll find your mood automatically shifting. You won’t regret reading for sure! So what are you waiting for? Grab a book today and start reading it. Make it a habit to read at least one book per week. Have fun!

Ancient Egyptian Gods

Ancient Egyptian Society had many different deities which were an important part of the people’s belief system. There were about 2000 deities in the Egyptian pantheon which were an integral part of the culture. The most famous gods were considered as State Deities while others were a part of the rituals of a specific region. Some of the most popular Deities are – Isis, Osiris, Horus, Ra, Bastet, Set, Nephthys, Anubis.

Isis

Isis was the goddess of magic and was a clever and ambitious woman. She was the wife of Osiris and the patron of magicians. She loved her husband very much and encouraged their son to take vengeance on the evil god Set who had Osiris. She is shown as a beautiful woman with colourful wings.

Osiris

Osiris was a wise and good pharaoh and the husband of Isis. He taught men about farming and is said to have built the first cities of Egypt. His brother Set tricked him into getting inside a coffin and made it into pieces and then hid the pieces all over Egypt. Isis spent years searching for him and eventually put all the pieces together when he partially came back to life. He was the god of the underworld and he sat in judgement over the souls of the dead.

Horus

Horus was called as the Avenger and the son of Isis and Osiris. When he grew up, he defeated Set and became the new pharaoh of Egypt. All mortal pharaohs are considered as descendants of him. Falcon is his symbol and he is often pictured as the man with a falcon’s head.

Ra

Ra was the first pharaoh of the world and the God of the Sun. The Egyptians celebrated as Ra would emerge victoriously after sailing the golden sun ship across the sky. After many centuries Ra became old and went back to the heaven after giving his throne to Osiris.

Bastet

Bastet was the goddess of cats and extremely popular in Egypt. She was a protective goddess and people used to wear amulets with her likeness for good luck. She is pictured as a cat fighting with a knife with the serpent Apep. She was the faithful cat of Ra.

Set

He was the god of desert, storms and evil. He is very tricky and the strongest of all the gods. He became the pharaoh after killing his brother Osiris and was later defeated by his nephew Horus. After that he fled into the desert and controlled the harsh lands outside of the Nile valley. In his old age he spent his days sailing Ra’s boat and defending her from the armies of the serpent Apep. He is pictured as a red skinned god with the head of an unknown animal demon.

Nephthys

Nephthys is the kind and gentle river goddess. She is the wife of Set and the sister of Isis. She didn’t like Set and helped Isis to find the pieces of Osiris and put him together. Her son was Anubis.

Anubis

Anubis is the god of funerals and the most important god. He helped Isis make Osiris into the first mummy. He is pictured as a man with a jackal’s head.

Are Online Classes Being Able To Replace Traditional Classrooms?

With the rise of the pandemic and the extended lockdown, educational institutions have been prompted to shift towards online teaching. While initially digital classrooms seem to be a great alternative, whether it can successfully replace traditional classroom teaching is a question yet to be answered. Online teaching has also posed a threat to students belonging to the economically backward sections of the society. In a country like India, a great percentage of students do not have the access to such means or find it difficult to avail those options.

According to survey findings there is a noticeable change in behavior and habits following the forced lockdown among the school goers. The sleep cycle and sleeping pattern of nearly 50 per cent children have been disturbed. It also indicates that 13 per cent of children have no regular pattern of sleeping. As a result, 67 per cent of parents think that their child’s screen time has gone up by at least 50 per cent during the lockdown. Increased screen time is known to severely affect concentration levels and leading to insomnia and other sleep disorders. The fear of pandemic has affected children in the worst way, nearly 40 per cent of the children who were surveyed, have been known to have mental health and unaddressed anxiety issues.

Schools and Colleges have set timetable in such a way so that there are breaks in between classes but because of network connectivity issues, students have started logging in earlier, which have lessened the break times. A teacher said in an interview, “In the first month, things were fine but with time students are losing interest and a kind of boredom is setting in even for the bright kids. For students in senior classes or those who will appear for board exams there is pressure from teachers and parents which is taxing.” After attending classes online, many students are also sitting for online tuition or extracurricular activity classes.

Teachers of many schools have reported that students have become “more subdued” in class and their energy levels have decreased than before. According to psychiatrists and teachers, months of being inside and attending classes from within the screen has made students “fatigued” and “demotivated.” Even students who are academically strong have not been responding in class like before, teachers said. They have observed that the “naughty and mischievous” ones who would always be up to some mischief in classrooms have become “quiet and subdued” during online classes.

Psychiatrist Jai Ranjan Ram said to a newspaper, “Teachers are trying but online classes are not the same as what school was for children. No wonder they are feeling demotivated and fatigued. They have to attend continuous classes on the screen, at times not on laptops but on phones. All this while there is monotony of the same environment. It’s difficult to maintain a sense of well-being. In an online class the nuances of non-verbal communication are completely lost.”

Sneha Priya S, Co-Founder & CEO of SP Robotic Works, has said, “Covid has proven to be the turnstile for education in India. The current situation has unearthed the immense potential of platforms with experiential and interactive learning which engage children in practical tasks and logical reasoning.”

In a physical classroom, students and teachers would even discuss things not related to academics and eagerly share their experiences. While there are downsides, there are also some positive aspects to it. Educational institutions have been closed for months at a stretch. With online classes there is the possibility to catch up with studies. Many students feel that at least in an online mode there is some form of interaction which helps them in these trying times. Online classes have made possible for students and teachers to get back to their routines within safe conditions. They also provide students with something to look forward to everyday. But amidst the current social conditions, students long to go back to their campuses. As we adjust to the ‘new normal’ many young people who are at the beginning of their career are also uncertain of what challenges they might face in the future.

Simple ways to stay self-disciplined

Do you often find yourself wandering away from the goals you want to achieve? Do you keep losing your will power and find it hard to stay motivated for achieving your desired goals, time and again? Well, this happens to everyone! The main reason for our lackadaisical attitude behind achieving anything that we have decided for ourselves is the lack of self-discipline.
Self-discipline is the ability to motivate yourself, stay on the right track and choose what’s best for yourself. It is basically about having the inner power to hang on and not give up, despite failures and setbacks. Some of the ways to stay self-disciplined are-
1) Pen down your goals- the best way to stay self-motivated is to write down your goals in a paper, with the reasons like why do you want to achieve that goal or what would happen if you fail to achieve it. Writing tricks your brain to take actions instantly, so every time you look at your goals to be achieved, you will start working for it without further delay. For example, if you want to lose weight set a goal about how much exactly you want to weigh after a month, looking at your goal every day would give you the much-needed boost to start working out and stop being a couch potato.
2) Identify your strengths and weaknesses – As a human being, we all have our own strengths and weaknesses, which you need to identify and work towards bettering yourself, as a person. Knowing your strengths is considerably common while identifying your weaknesses becomes difficult at times. For example, if you are an overly sensitive person and get affected easily by what people say about you, then you have to work on yourself and turn that weakness into your strength, so as to not let people take advantage of that weakness.
3) Self-monitoring-  self-monitoring is an important self-disciplinary tool to keep yourself focused on your goal. For instance, if you have a goal to crack any competitive exam then while you are on your preparation mode, you should be constantly monitoring yourself, by marking on the calendar- the date you started your preparation, the dates you took a break from studies or even the dates you haven’t given your best while preparing. This would ultimately help you track your progress, boost your motivation and keep you on the right track. The same technique can be followed for weight loss goals as well.
4) Self-dependency- learn to become self-dependent in life. If you are a person who always needs people around to motivate you, or you get emotionally attached to people quite easily, then you should try to become less dependent on others for your emotional needs as the people around you today, might leave you alone tomorrow. So, it’s better to start depending on oneself instead of others. Seeking help is a different matter altogether though, as this is necessary at times but investing your time and emotions too much on others may harm you in the long run. Hence, try to become self-dependent in life, for your own good. This would assist you in keeping distractions at bay and you will be more focused on achieving your goals solely.
5) Delete toxic people from life- there are people often around our lives or into our lives who are toxic in nature, filled with negativities. They can’t see you doing good in your life and would always come up with negative opinions. They would doubt your potential talent and would question your dreams. They would do everything to bring you down and try to crush your self-esteem, this is where you need to stop those people from having access into your life. Cut ties with them completely. They would try to distract you from your goals and would make you feel miserable about yourself. Most people often fall for it and start criticising themselves. So choose your friends wisely and delete people out of your life as and when needed.
The above-mentioned points, are some of the ways by which you can stay self-disciplined, keep your self-esteem high and stay away from negativities. Believe in yourself, dear readers and have faith in your abilities to achieve anything you want in your life. Keep working hard and never give up on your dreams, no matter what! Just Keep going!

COST

Cost refers to the expenditure incurred by a producer on factor as well as non-factor inputs for given output of a commodity. It can be categorized into explicit ( Opportunity cost of hiring inputs from the market, measured in cash payments that firm make to others.) and implicit costs. ( Opportunity cost of using self-owned inputs, measured in terms of imputed costs of self owned resources.). It is also termed as selling ( expenditure caused due to promote sale of good.) and production costs ( expenditure on inputs to produce an output.)

Fixed costs are costs related to use of fixed factor of production in short period like, machines, license fee, land expenditure, etc. They do not change with change in output. Variable costs on other hand refer to expenditure by producer on use of variable factors of production like, costs of raw material, wages of workers, wear and tear expense, etc. They increase with increase in output and vice-versa. Graphical representation is given by-

Cost Behavior

Total cost is defined as sum of variable and fixed costs. Since total variable cost tends to increase at diminishing rate initially, meaning that less and less of additional cost is incurred in every additional output. This happens due to increasing return to a factor and eventually TVC increases at an increasing rate.

Relationship between TVC and MC:

i) Marginal cost is estimated as the difference between total costs of two successive units of output. Thus,

MCn = TCn – TCn-1

(ii) When MC is diminishing, TC increases at a diminishing rate.

(iii) When MC is rising, TC increases at an increasing rate.

(iv) When MC reaches its lowest point (point Q in Fig. 11), TC stops increasing at a decreasing rate (point Q* in Fig. 11).

Briefly, MC is the rate of TC.

A break from social media

How often do you use social media? Are you spending too much time on Facebook and losing out time for doing something worthwhile? If yes, then you are not alone in this case. According to reports, an average user spends 2 hours and 24 minutes per day on social media in 2020.
Social media has become an inseparable part of our everyday life. It is always there with us right from the moment we wake up until the moment we fall asleep. Social media has both it’s share of advantages and disadvantages. Facebook at one hand helps bring the community closer and let’s one find new friends and connect instantly while on the other side social media at times affect one’s mental health easily when people start comparing their lives with others and land up being depressed.
A break from social media at times, therefore, becomes a necessity to get back your sanity and most importantly to break free from its spell. Some of the ways to snooze social media can be the following.
1) Put down your phone- when you are with your friends you should make it a point to not check your phone every now and then and enjoy being with them at the present. Living in the present and enjoying the moments should be more important for you than being there just for the sake of posting stories on social media. While being with your friends keep your phone upside down so that you won’t check it often.
2) Schedule “social media free days” –
Take a day off or two from social media. Decide on a day or maybe choose the weekends to not waste your time scrolling Facebook or Instagram but instead try to invest your time on learning new skills or doing something productive. Get back to your long lost hobbies. Enjoy your weekend by spending quality time with your family or meet new people offline.
3) Turn off notification – you can turn off notifications of the apps where you know you waste excessive time than required without even knowing. Set alarms or download any app that would restrict your screen time and limit your access to social media, ultimately helping you get rid of its addiction.
4) Respond offline- try staying in touch with your friends offline. If you get any birthday notifications on Facebook, or if you see your friends getting married than instead of writing congratulations on their posts, better make a phone call and congratulate them. This would have a greater impact on your friendship.
5) Deactivate social media altogether- well, this could look like an impossible task for many, but you can at least give it a try for a week. Challenge yourself to take a break from social media for a week and see the amount of time you have saved from getting wasted on scrolling the screen looking at memes, viewing people’s stories and feeling miserable about not having such an adventurous or romantic life like most people try to show on their social media platforms of living a perfectly happy life.
So readers, try doing the above-mentioned steps, if you truly value your time and if you think you can utilise it on doing certain other productive activities. We all have to live in the real world in the end, so socialising with people in reality than socialising more online would help you grow better in life. Go ahead and try taking a break from social media, today. You won’t regret it, for sure!

FREUDIAN PERSONALITY ANALYSIS

Human Personality is a complex combination of wide ranging emotions and traits. The development of human being is lifelong and hence personality development too is lifelong. Thus the personality of human beings is neither static nor simple to understand.Various Psychologists have come up with their own theories to explain Personalities ranging from Humanistic to Cognitive perspectives.

Sigmund Freud is considered as the father of psychology and he proposed the controversial Freudian Psychoanalytic Theory of personality. The analysis is accepted and criticized with the same fervour. So lets look deep into Freudian Personality Analysis.

According to Sigmund Freud, human personality is complex and has more than a single component. According to Freud,Childhood traumas play a major role in personality development. In his famous psychoanalytic theory, Freud states that personality is composed of three elements known as the id, the ego, and the superego. These elements work together to create complex human behaviors. Each component adds its own unique contribution to personality and the three interact in ways that have a powerful influence on an individual. Each element of personality emerges at different points in life.

1.ID:The id is driven by the pleasure principle, which strives for immediate gratification of all desires, wants, and needs. If these needs are not satisfied immediately, the result is a state anxiety or tension. For example, an increase in hunger should produce an immediate attempt to eat .It is the unconscious aspect of thinking.

2.EGO:The ego operates based on the reality principle, which strives to satisfy the id’s desires in realistic and socially appropriate ways. The reality principle weighs the costs and benefits of an action before deciding to act upon or abandon impulses. In many cases, the id’s impulses can be satisfied through a process of delayed gratification—the ego will eventually allow the behavior, but only in the appropriate time and place.

3.SUPEREGO:The superego has two parts: The conscience which includes information about things that are viewed as bad by parents and society. These behaviors are often forbidden and lead to bad consequences, punishments, or feelings of guilt and remorse And the Second Part,The Ego ideal which includes the rules and standards for behaviors that the ego aspires to.Basically The superego tries to perfect and civilize our behavior. It works to suppress all unacceptable urges of the id and struggles to make the ego act upon idealistic standards rather that upon realistic principles. The superego is present in the conscious, pre conscious, and unconscious.

So,According to Freud, the key to a healthy personality is a balance between the id, the ego, and the superego. If the ego is able to adequately moderate between the demands of reality, the id, and the superego, a healthy and well-adjusted personality emerges. Freud believed that an imbalance would lead to a maladaptive personality.

Freud basically studies the interaction between Id,Ego and Super Ego using five Psychosexual stages of development where in the individual’s personality develops in a particular stage only if there is a balance between the three elements. The Freudian Psychosexual Stages of Development are as follows:

  • Oral (0 – 2years of age): Fixation on all things oral. If not satisfactorily met there is the likelihood of developing negative oral habits or behaviors.
  • Anal (2 to 3 years of age): As indicated this stage is primarily related to developing healthy toilet training habits.
  • Phallic (3 – 5 year of age): The development of healthy substitutes for the sexual attraction boys and girls have toward a parent of the opposite gender.
  • Latency (5 – 12 years of age): The development of healthy dormant sexual feelings for the opposite sex.
  • Genital (12 – adulthood): All tasks from the previous four stages are integrated into the mind allowing for the onset of healthy sexual feelings and behaviors.

Thus due to the sexualization of Personality Theory,Freud was highly criticized. Some Neo Freudians like Erikson and Adler came up with new and more realistic personality theories. This does not apply to everyone. It is just one of the way of studying the personality of a human being.

THEY ARE STANDING AS ICEBERGS IN OUR PATH , JUST BECAUSE OF OUR INEFFICIENT DECISION MAKING.

INDIA IS NEED OF THE GROWTH OF 8% TO 8.5% ANNUALLY TO CREATE THE OPPORTUNITIES AFTER COVID-19 AS THERE IS A RISK OF THE STAGNATION OF ECONOMIC GROWTH , INCOME AND GOOD QUALITY LIFE FOR A DECADE , WHICH IS A HUGE LOSS ! .

THERE IS NEED TO FABRICATE ALL THE REFORMS AND SCHEMES DESIGNED , A GOOD IMPLEMENTATION OF ALL IS MANDATORY TO CATCH THE ROPE OF THE GOOD ECONOMIC GROWTH.

THE NEXT TWELVE TO EIGHTEEN MONTHS ARE VERY CRUCIAL FOR US AS IT HAS BECOME A LIMMITED PERIOD OFFER FOR A GROWTH TO OCCUR AND THEESE ARE THE MONTHS .

IF WANTING TO INCREASE THE PRODUCTIVITY , CREATING EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE PEOPLE , MINIMISING POVERTY BECAUSE POVERTY CAN NEVER BE FINISHED , IT JUST CAN BE MINIMISED , LIVING GOOD QUALITY OF LIFE , DEVOLOPMENT , GROWTH , SOCIETAL OBJECTIVES THEN , YOU HAVE TO HAVE ……
