Kangana Ranaut: The centre of Controversy as she quotes actress Urmila as ‘Soft porn Star’

Actress Urmila Matondkar finally responds to Kangana Ranaut’s comments against her. Kangana on Wednesday had quoted Urmila is a ‘soft porn actor’ who is ‘not known for her acting’. Urmila said that she is willing to change her name if anybody can prove that she spoke about Kangana’s intentions of wanting a BJP ticket in any interview.

The actors’ spat began when Urmila in an interview asked Kangana to introspect about the drug culture in her home state of Himachal Pradesh before levelling allegations against Maharashtra and Mumbai’s film industry. Kangana had previously said that 99% of the film industry has been exposed to drugs.

Urmila Matondkar has asked Kangana Ranaut to share the names of all the Bollywood stars with links to drug abuse. “It just goes to show where we stand, and that is precisely what I have been trying to say, that if you have a viewpoint, by all means you have a right to express it. But it just that the way you express it and how you express it does matter.” The Rangeela actor has also questioned the timing of her numerous interviews and why she has “problems with everybody in the industry.”

Previously, Urmila had also criticised Kangana’s comments on veteran actor and Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan. She had written in a tweet, “Which girl from a civilised cultured house would use this kind of language? Like ‘kya ukhaad loge’, ‘kiska baap ka kya hai’, speaking about Jaya ji the way she did.”

Kangana Ranaut and Kunal Kamra locked horns on Twitter on Wednesday after the comedian took a dig at her and compared her with Indian yogi Sadhguru. Earlier in the day, Kangana had called show business “absolutely intoxicating” and that the “make believe world of lights and camera is designed to make one live and believe in an alternate reality, a little bubble of their own, it takes a very strong spiritual core to recognise this delusion”.

Kunal retweeted it and wrote: “Wisdom via showman Jagga Jasoos AKA @SadhguruJV.” The actress then retweeted Kamra’s tweet and wrote: “These fools are desperate to credit my struggles, intellect, spiritual depth, guts, success and achievements to some powerful man, how it hurts their fragile egos and cotton balls to admit that I am my own person, leading my life on my own terms. DEAL WITH IT.”

Kangana had launched a personal attack on Urmila on Wednesday, in an interview to Times Now. She had called her a ‘soft porn actor’, a comment which was massively criticised by several prominent Bollywood personalities. Urmila said that she was ‘deeply touched’ by the kind of response that ‘the people of this country’ gave her. “They are aghast and completely in shock as to what has happened,” Urmila said about the response she received, adding that she is waiting for the National Commission for Women to take a stand.

Responding to the online criticism, Ranaut took to Twitter on Thursday and wrote: “Liberal brigade once virtually lynched a renowned writer in to silence for saying people like Sunny Leone should not be our role models, Sunny is accepted by the industry and entire India as an artist, suddenly fake feminists equating being a porn star to something derogatory.

Kangana is somehow centre of all the controversy and talks in whatsoever issues started with #justiceForSSR movement. However, she did behaved exactly same to Urmila what Sanjay Raut has done in the way.

Chocolate and its Evolution

Chocolate is a sweet brown food preparation of roasted and ground cacao
seeds that is made in the form of liquid, paste or in a block or used as a flavoring ingredient in other foods .The word ‘Chocolate’ is the Aztec word, ‘Xocolatl’, which means ‘Bitter Water’.Theobroma cacao is the scientific name of the tropical tree that bears the fruit whose name means the ‘food of he gods’.

The Brief history behind chocoloate

Before the 16th century chocolate existed in mesoamerica. The first
people to use chocolate were probably known as Olmec of what is today southeast Mexico. They lived in the area around 1000 BC where the cacao trees grew
wild. It is not yet known if the Olmecs actually used chocolate. However the Maya who inhabited the same general area a thousand years later did use chocolate. The Mayans used the cacao beans as currency. Even after
counterfeits were made by carving clay, the beans were still used as currency in parts of Latin America until the 19th century. The Mayans also used chocolate in religious rituals. They were also
used in marriage ceremonies and baptism. They even had a cacao god. But the Mayans prepared chocolate strictly for drinking. Only the rich
could afford this luxury. Emperors were often buried with jars of chocolate at their side. After the Aztecs overthrew the Mayas they kept the chocolate tradition
alive. The Aztecs dominated the region and continued using cacao as currency. Soon after the Spanish conquest of the Aztecs, chocolate was imported to Europe.

How did chocolate become so popular?

The Spanish initially did not like the bitter taste of chocolate but imported it back
to Europe. It was therefore initially used as medicine to cure abdominal pain . By the 1590s chocolate was mixed with honey, vanilla, and sugar, giving it a much
sweeter taste. Initially chocolate was considered sinful by some members of the church as some
drank it to divert themselves from a long service. This changed as the elite and
noblemen supported its consumption. However chocolate always remained a drink.
After the introduction of industrialization, entrepreneurs began experimenting
with different machinery to facilitate the process of separating cacao butter from
cacao seeds. Soon cacao powder was produced and chocolate now became more mass
produced. However it was still a product for the upper class.

Who first invented chocolate

The creation of the first modern chocolate was by Joseph Fry who
discovered in 1847 that he could make a mold able chocolate paste by
adding melted cacao butter into Dutch cacao. It was by 1868 a little company called Cadbury was marketing boxes
of chocolate candies in England. Milk chocolate hit the market a few
years later pioneered by another name – Nestle. By the 19th century chocolate became a mass produced.

Types of chocolates

Chocolate Liquor : Its referred to as unsweetened chocolate and is the
base of all types of chocolate. This thick dark brown paste is created from
cacao nibs, the inside of the cacao beans. Despite the name it doesn’t
contain alcohol.
● White chocolate : It is made by combining sugar, cacao butter, milk,
vanilla, and an emulsifier (lecithin).
● Milk chocolate : It is made by combining chocolate liquor, sugar and milk.
Sometimes emulsifiers are added for smoothness.
● Dark chocolate : It is referred to as black or semisweet and made of
chocolate liquor and sugar.
● Bittersweet chocolate : It is often referred to as extra dark chocolate.
● Ruby chocolate : This chocolate has a hot-pink hue as it derives colour
from a specific type of cacao. It gives a taste of fruitiness and sour taste.

Wine

Wine is as old as civilization itself and it has a significant place in many ancient cultures. Many experts agree that wine probably dates to 6000 B.C., to Mesopotamia where wild vines grew in abundance. The popularity of wine eventually spread to Egypt, along the Nile Delta. Wine came to Europe with the spread of the Greek civilization around 1600 B.C. It was an important article of Greek commerce and Greek doctors including Hippocrates, were the among the first to prescribe it. The Greeks also learned to add herbs and spices to mask spoilage.

Starting about 1,000 B.C., the Romans made major contributions in classifying grape varieties and colours, observing and charting ripening characteristics, and popularizing the growing of vines and manufacturing of wines. As time progressed, the wealthy enjoyed the fruits of the vine. After the collapse of the Roman Empire, Europe’s wine industry was saved by the church as monks planted vines to provide wine for Mass. Before long, France emerged as a leader, with some of the world’s finest wines.

Did you know that an ancient Persian fable credits a lady of the court with the discovery of wine? This princess lost favour with the king and attempted to poison herself by eating some table grapes that had ‘spoiled’ in a jar. She became intoxicated and fell asleep. When she awoke, she found that she felt much more relaxed and stress free and wine was discovered!

Coffee

According to legend, an Arabian shepherd named Kaldi found his goats dancing joyously around a dark green leafed shrub with bright red cherries in the southern tip of the Arabian Peninsula. Kaldi soon determined that it was the cherries on the shrub that were making them act this way. After trying the cherries himself, he learned of their powerful effect. These were coffee berries and monks at a local monastery started using a drink made of these berries to stay awake during extended hours of prayer. And so, coffee was born.

The ancient Ethiopians made balls of crushed coffee beans and fat to give them energy during long journeys. The coffee we are familiar with originated in Arabia, where roasted beans were first brewed around A.D. 1,000. Later, coffee was brought to the rest of Asia from where it was taken to Europe by a merchant from Venice.

Did you know that the name coffee is derived from the Arabic term ‘gahwa’ which means ‘that which prevents sleep’?

Tea

Did you know that tea is 5000 years old? According to legend, it was discovered in 2737 B.C., by a Chinese emperor when some tea leaves accidently blew into a pot of boiling water. The emperor was interested in the new liquid, drank some, found it very refreshing, and tea was created!

Tea consumption spread throughout Chinese society reaching into every strata. In time, drinking tea became part of the social and cultural life in the far East and India. Tea was introduced to India by the silk caravans travelling from the Orient to Europe. It was a Buddhist priest who brought the first tea seeds from China to Japan. In Japan, tea received almost instant imperial sponsorship, and spread rapidly from the royal court and monasteries to the other sections of Japanese society. Dutch traders and Portuguese missionaries brought tea into Europe and tea became an extremely fashionable drink in the court of Charles II of England. Tea has played a very important role in the history of England for it brought fortune to the British empire and at the same time, it was a tax levied on tea that led to the loss of her colonies in the New World.

Today, tea is grown on tea estates, and 70% of the tea we drink is grown in Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Argentina and China. Amazing, we drink virtually the same tea today that the Chinese emperor drank the day he discovered it!

Carbonated soft drinks

Do you love fizzy soft drinks? Well, even the ancient Romans loved to drink the bubbling waters of mineral springs and they believed that this water was very good for health as well. Later, scientists discovered that it was the carbon dioxide in the water that caused these bubbles and tried to find a way to introduce this gas into plain water to give the same effect. Thanks to the efforts of such scientists as Joseph Riestley and John Nooth, this feat was accomplished and carbonated water was available for sale by the end of the 1700.

The next step was to flavour this sparkling water. In 1784, citric acid was developed from lemon juice and by 1833, carbonated lemonade was on sale in England. Soon, other flavours were introduced and in 1886, Coca Cola entered the market and created soft drink history.

Food from scratch…

Noodles

A 4000 year old bowl of noodles unearthed in China is the earliest example ever found of one of the world’s most popular foods. Noodles have been a staple food in many parts of the world for at least 2000 years. But who inverted the noodle? This is a hotly contested topic – with the Chinese , Italian and Arabs all staking a claim.

Ice cream

The first ice cream was probably made by chance when someone left some milk outside on a cold night and it froze!

Alexander the great enjoyed ice cream made with milk, fruit juice, honey and snow in the 4th century B.C. and the Roman emperor Nero ordered ice to ne brought from the mountains and combined it with fruit toppings. The Chinese also had a method of making ice creams and some believe that ice cream came to Europe from China.

It was Quintus Maximus, a roman general, who first wrote down a recipe for ice cream. Marco Polo brought the Chinese recipe to Venice after his visit to Peking. The king of England, Charles I is supposed to have offered his chef a handsome reward to keep his ice cream recipe a secret!

You favourite ice cream cone was invented by a pastry maker Ernest Hamwi in 1904, at the World Fair in St. Louis. He put a scoop of ice cream on his pastry when an ice cream seller in a neighbouring stall ran out of dishes- and it became an instant hit!

Chocolate

Cocoa, from which chocolate is made is said to have originated in the Amazon atleast 4000 years ago. The origins of chocolate can be traced back to the ancient Mayan and Aztec civilization in central America, who first enjoyed ‘chocolatel’, a much prized spicy drink made from roasted cocoa beans, the Aztecs believed that the cocoa tree was a gift from their God, Quetzalcoatl. According to legend, He had been banished by the other gods for giving the tree to mankind, but he promised to return to them one day.

The Spanish, led by Hernando Cortez, invaded Mexico in the 16th century. When the Aztecs saw Cortez, they believed their god had returned and welcomed him with a golden cup of chocolate! When Cortez returned to Spain in 1528, he loaded his galleons with cocoa beans and equipment for making the chocolate drink. Soon ‘chocolate’ became a fashionable drink enjoyed by the rich in Spain.

It was in 1847 that solid chocolate, as we know of today, was made by Fry and sons of Bristol by mixing sugar with cocoa powder and cocoa butter and your favourite treat was born.

Chewing gum

Thousands of years ago people chewed gum in it’s natural form. The most common ancient chewing gum was tree resin lumps, but people chewed various sweet grasses, leaves, grains and waxes also. The first commercial Chewing gum was made and sold in 1848 by John Bacon Curtis. He made a sticky, rubbery material from the spruce tree which could be chewed. In the 1860’s, Thomas Adams began selling chicle, a gum from the sapodilla tree of Mexico’s Yucatan desert.

Creation of Time: Time Management

Time management is concerned with managing your time efficiently so that all your daily tasks can be completed in a systematic system. One who can follow his timetable correctly can complete almost any task successfully. This is the reason that time management is necessary and it is very important for people from different walks of life.

Time management is important in every field

Time management is essential for people belonging to different walks of life. Whether it is a student or a homemaker, working professional, freelancer or business professional, everyone should manage time to successfully carry out their tasks. Here is detailed information on the importance of time management for each of these groups:

Importance of time management for students

Many such activities are included in this list from the time the student participates in various activities throughout the day and from getting involved in self-study to being fit by participating in additional exercise activities. In such a situation, if you do not arrange your time properly, then you will not be able to do any work efficiently.

Importance of time management for business personnel

If you are planning to start a business, discipline is the first thing that needs to be kept in mind and the first step to discipline is respecting time. In your business, you are the owner yourself, so you have more responsibilities on you rather than working for someone else. To handle everything efficiently you have to start everything by streamlining your time resources.

Importance of time management for homemakers

Housemakers toil throughout the day. Their task list is endless and if they do not manage their tasks properly then it may take them a long time to finish the work. Since they have to do different kinds of tasks every day, they need to prepare a list in the morning. They can prioritize tasks on their list and do them one by one. This will not only enable housemakers to manage their time efficiently but they will also feel a sense of satisfaction in their work.

Importance of time management for freelancers

Freelancers who do household chores, in particular, should ensure that they make a daily schedule and follow it faithfully. Most people who do household chores choose this option because they have to complete some other chores in the house. It is quite challenging to fulfil your systematic duties and professional tasks simultaneously. The key to handling both tasks together is managing your time efficiently. Identify the hours in the day when you can concentrate the most so that you can finish your business tasks diligently.

Importance of time management for professionals

Working professionals also need to perform well in their fields with increasing competition. They are expected to do something different so that their image will remain good in the eyes of their superiors, beating their fellow personnel. Professionals need to schedule their time so that they not only take time out for their normal work but also have enough time to do something different/new.

Tips for efficient time management

• List the work that is necessary

• Finish important tasks first

• Focus only on current work

• Learn to say ‘no’

• As soon as you start your work, put your phone aside

• Get 7-8 hours of sleep a day

• Have a healthy diet

• Exercise regularly

Conclusion

It may appear simple to look at but efficient time management demonstrates a person’s great qualities. You need to always be disciplined and constantly remind yourself why it is important to complete your tasks on time properly.

Story of the two most expensive spices

Saffron

One pound of saffron costs you $5000. It is the most expensive spice next comes vanilla. Saffron is a complicated spice to harvest. Harvesting saffron needs a lot of hand work to pick up the flowers, separate the saffron that is the dried stigma or the female part of the flower. Saffron comes from the saffron crocus flower and each flower has 3 stigmas. The yield of saffron is very low. One pound of saffron requires 170000 flowers. These flowers bloom over a six week period from late September to early December. There is a specific time to day to harvest them. High relative humidity and sunlight can break the chemical structure in the saffron. Early morning is preferably the best time to harvest them.

90% of the world’s saffron is grown in arid fields in Iran. It is so because workers are available and for cheap. But it’s mostly like slavery. Most workers are women getting five dollars a day. Not only Iran, it’s grown in Morocco, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Afghanistan, India and even in United States. Though many Americans have never eaten saffron, the US imports large amount of saffron. Saffron has a resistance to cold weather.

Over centuries saffron has proven useful in many situations. Most commonly used in cooking. Middle east Asian countries have a lot of food containing saffron. When saffron is broken down it creates a golden dye. Which is how when used in cooking it gives a different kind of colour and taste and smell to it.

Saffron contains some chemical components which are really expensive like picrocrocin, crocin and safranal. These are the main components responsible for the taste, smell and colour.

People have tried passing turmeric, red marigold petals, and lily flower stigma as saffron. But the flavour and dye is totally different. In large quantities, saffron can be a potent happiness inducing narcotic. Research suggests it may help reduce the symptoms for Alzheimer’s, depression and PMS.

Vanilla

From ice cream to cakes and even perfume, vanilla is the go-to flavour of the world. In recent years, the price of natural vanilla has shot up. At one point it was more expensive than silver by weight. 80% of the world’s vanilla is grown in the perfectly suited climate of the north east region of Madagascar. It’s the country’s primary export crop. In 2014, vanilla was $80 a kilo. Three years later it was $600. Today its around $500. The price rise is due in part to global demand. The trend of eating naturally means that food companies have shunned synthetic flavouring in favour of the real deal.

Price fluctuations affect producers of agricultural commodities everywhere but vanilla is particularly volatile. In just a few weeks the price can jump or plummet by over 20%. Liberalisation is one reason for such movements. The Malagasy government once regulated the vanilla industry and it’s price. But now the price is negotiated at the point of sale which makes for a freer market but a more volatile one. It’s also a tiny industry. A single cyclone can knock up the entire crop within Madagascar. It’s also a difficult and delicate crop to grow.

Vanilla is an orchid that needs to be hand pollinated. This is a really labour intensive practice. It takes roughly six months to grow it on the vine and then six months of manual post harvesting. The interesting thing about vanilla is that it needs to be taken off the vine when it is almost rotted!

The growers have to contend with another problem. Thieves are targeting vanilla crops. So Malagasy now have to sleep out in their vanilla fields. They can’t rely on those who are changed from the state to protect them or their crops. Some farmers have resorted to harvesting the beans before they’re ripe but this produces a poorer quality vanilla and ultimately pushes down the price. The combination of deteriorating quality and high prices is having an effect. The vanilla price bubble may burst. If the price continues to stay high there’s a number of scenarios that will play out. Continuation of current situation will cause an unstable market. Otherwise the corporate sectors step in, try to regulate the market in some way that may stabilise prices and also quality. Or the market may crash out.

Big buyers that provide vanilla are now working directly with farmers in a bid to gain greater control over quality. Other companies have started to look elsewhere for their natural vanilla. Indonesia, Uganda and even the Netherlands are growing the crop. For a century Madagascar has enjoyed a near monopoly on vanilla. But this industry maybe in line for radical overhaul.

Dil Chahta Hai

(2004)

As Dil Chahta Hai opens, Siddarth, known as Sid (Akshaye Khanna) is racing to the hospital due to an unexplained emergency. There, he is reunited with his old friend, Sameer (Saif Ali Khan). Sameer calls the third member of the trio, Akash (Bombay superstar Aamir Khan from Lagaan), who tells him he’s not going to join them at the hospital, due to an unresolved dispute between him and Sid. The film then flashes back to earlier, happier days, to show us what came between the three close friends. Sid was the studious, serious one, with a hidden artistic side, while Sameer foolishly let himself be ruled by the woman in his life. Akash could never limit himself to one woman. He was a playboy who claimed he didn’t believe in love. Sameer found himself unexpectedly falling for Pooji (Sonali Kulkarni of Mission Kashmir), the young woman his parents have tried to arrange for him to marry. Akash’s father grew concerned about his son’s immaturity, and sent Akash to Australia to work for his company. Eventually, we work our way back to the present, and find out what’s become of the three friends and their romantic entanglements. Dil Chahta Hai, a huge hit in India, marked the feature debut of writer-director Farhan Akhtar.

3 Idiots

(2009)

Two friends [Madhavan and Sharman Joshi] embark on a quest for a lost buddy. On this journey, they encounter a long-forgotten bet, a wedding they must crash, and a funeral that goes impossibly out of control. As they make their way through the perilous landscape, another journey begins: their inner journey through memory lane and the story of their friend–the irrepressible free-thinker Rancho [Aamir Khan], who in his unique way, touched and changed their lives. It’s a story of their hostel days that swings between Rancho’s romance with the spirited Pia [Kareena Kapoor], and his clash with an oppressive mentor, Viru Sahastrabudhhe [Boman Irani]. And then one day, suddenly, Rancho vanished… Who was he? Where did he come from? Why did he leave? The friend who influenced and inspired them to think creatively and independently, even as the conformist world called them three idiots. Where is the original idiot now? Finally, in misty mountains of unparalleled beauty, the friends find the key to the secret. Three Idiots is a comedy of ideas that is as provocative as it is funny, as wildly entertaining as it is insightful. A laugh-riot that talks about the most important of human pursuits: self-actualization.

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara

(2012)

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is the story of three old friends Kabir Imraan, and Arjun who go on a long-promised trip to Spain. Kabir has just become engaged to his girlfriend Natasha and plans an extended bachelor party with his friends across Spain, where each of the trio chooses an adventure sport in which the other two have to participate. What follows is the journey of a lifetime, along with a whole lot of introspection and bonding.

The Spanish holiday serves as a backdrop for these characters to confront their personal insecurities and fears.

Satisfyingly, this movie about men remains resolutely un-macho, with the characters displaying heartwrenching vulnerabilities, and being moved to tears by beautiful moments. Friendships and issues resolved by frank conversations, rather than the exchange of playful punches that one often sees with such films.

Chhichhore

(2019)

That first puppy college romance; once-dreaded seniors turning out to be lifelong buddies; the college canteen chai and pastry; the horrendous hostel mess food; the inter-college sports competitions — Chhichhore has it all. The film will take viewers down memory lane and make them smile. It’s tough to go wrong with nostalgia if you play your cards well and Tiwari — an IIT Bombay alumnus himself — succeeds to a large extent. Now this is no 3 Idiots but it’s close enough, for bringing out college nostalgia with sincerity and authenticity. Woh Din in Arijit Singh’s voice is the perfect icing on top.

It is in these flashbacks that the film is at its best — a sweet, nostalgic story of fun, friendship, young love and a bunch of Davids fighting the university equivalent of Goliath. The plot moves cleverly between then and now to illustrate the similarities and differences between how the “losers” used the hand life dealt them.

it’s fun, fast-paced and sweet, and has a message for all of us, whether we’re students trying to get in the rat race or adults trying to stay in it.

Learning to live life is essential

Accept your mistakes and start learning from them, learn lessons from time and make your future better

• Lessons from our mistakes bring experience and learning to handle

• If you have experienced some kind of negative experience, remember to learn from it forever

We all have a few common teachers. The experiences of those who concentrate in their classroom become inspiration for others. Sometimes there is a lesson to be learnt in time, then after gaining some experience, a new lesson is taught. Sometimes the behavior of loved ones is learned, and sometimes the behavior of strangers becomes our lesson. Also consider these things and situations as teachers who teach, explain and carve you a lot. Every lesson, experience and feeling of this class that is going on in life is filled.

Learn from mistakes

It is said that one’s own mistakes are the biggest teacher in life. Like this, making mistakes is also a part of the journey of learning.Lessons from our mistakes bring experience and learning to handle. Usually we are unable to accept our mistakes. But no learning can be achieved without this acceptance. Whereas the identity of a successful and alert person is that he or she should learn from his or her mistakes from time to time and never repeat them further, so that such mistakes become experiences and make you alert and understanding forever.

Studying in nature class

Nature gives a test every day. Embraces every season. Teaches you how to deal with every situation. After autumn, the feeling of blooming again in the spring explains the feeling of acceptance of sorrow and happiness. Nature teaches and explains that time does not always remain the same. But after times of trouble, a better time also comes, when again the hope and enthusiasm spring up.There is aneed so much that we keep our lives irrigated with cheerfulness and positiveness.

Learn from the experience of others

According to Charles Kalton, “It is better to demand experience than to buy it from others.”  Anyway, to learn by mistake every time, the whole life is short. That is, to avoid making mistakes ourselves, we should also learn from the experience of others. Not only this, if you have experienced some kind of negative experience, then remember to learn from it forever. ‘Bad experience is a kind of school where only fools keep going back.’

Awareness lessons

It is said that one who is educated is aware only. But the truth is also that being aware can teach us something. Being alert and awake in life-related situations gives a lesson every day, every moment. Life is like a classroom to say. How Bollywood still not progressed on Racism and colour discrimination

Despite being such big industry and following, Bollywood in 2020 has still not progressed from its dated, racist and regressive ideology. Commercial Bollywood has still the same problem which has been born since the beginning of the Cinema. Same mentality has been perpetuated through all its films throughout the century. The cliché part is that it is not just about the glorifying of fair complexion but also to dark skin to be thought and followed as inferior. There have been shots that showed the not acceptability of dark skin tone in the life. There is much of lifestyle that depicts that they don’t believe and follow ancient rules like Gender discrimination, Hypocrisy and Racism but It is mere tragedy that still follows the Bollywood in the work upfront. And we know that how much we may scream about our ideology it will create impact only when it will come from our work and industry has quite a mile distant to achieving this.

Even though that was earlier in 20th century, the show of this century is still not so great in that terms. There have been times where this has been portrayed that fair ones belonged to richer and known families while other complexion must belong to lower and poor families. Also, it was determined that fair complexion would grow in professional and educative manner whereas other would become a wage illiterate worker or would be doing some low downsizing jobs.

There is still scenario where such characters are showed as craving to get attention and affection from a fair one while that fair one is the most corrupt and full of toxicity. Old times still can be ignored due to the regulations that were followed but time has changed for sure and now a sector of public has raced ahead of such discriminative cinema scripts in our country. It was showed like living around not so fair skin peoples gives you the license to do anything for yourself and anything to them despite it is legal or not. Everything is still being justified like extra affair and other activities just because they haven’t got their choice of skin in particular.

Quite a few of songs has been made like recent one in past decades that left us with nothing except the cringe worthy essence and false impact on young ones who seek their ideology from such movies and their stars. ‘Hum gore nahi, kale hi sahi’ and ‘Hum kale hai toh kya hua dilwale hain’ forces one another to realise that we maybe dark in skin, but we are also human and have heart like you all do. How caricaturist it makes human to such extent that they had to tell them of being human too. Few people may argue over it to not take literal but as they said meaning is still same you are just molding it. There is proper type ‘where we say in funny manner but we actually mean the right hidden truth‘, that is called sarcasm but that’s not looks like case here. Also, there is scenes that shows our thinking that peoples from other planet or too distant places will be black only and that too with no potential perception of them being human. Songs like “saat samundar” actually showcases that.

You can’t stop criticizing such mentality when you simply pass through. It is still same as fair complexion is restricted to good and justifying roles while mostly the funny and side roles. This has been stereotyped in such manner that most of the audience are addicted to it and they simply don’t understand the flaw and point in such things. Let’s take a moment from now on to tell our surrounding that how we all are being actually lied in terms of real modernisation and where we are bursting all the stereotypes. And this one is not different from anything. Its not that black colour peoples are also desirable but instead this that colour must not be criteria for anything cause it really does not matters.

Controversy arises on a song from khali-peeli, over “Racism” allegations

Some days back a song from Ishan khattar-Ananya Pandey starrer got released. Song was quoted with name “Beyonce Sharma jayegi”. Looking at name will not make any difference as there is nothing inappropriate, but catch is on its lyrics. The more we feel nothing bad about the song, but after listening to its lyrics you will equally feel disgusting about it.

Kumar and Raj Shankar for the lyrics, Vishal-Shekhar for their composition, and Ananya and Ishaan for accepting the song and dancing on the same, is seeing a lot of hatred, disapprovals and disappointments.

Controversy

The film Khaali Peeli, released, it has snowballed into controversy. Lyrics goes like ‘Ho tujhe dekh ke goriya, Beyonce sharma jaayegi’. With the trending hashtag of #BlackLivesMatter, here is what Bollywood learns from it and produces songs like this one. The 412K dislikes have surpassed the extremely low, 52K likes on the official video posted by Zee Music Company.

Ananya Panday’s Instagram post promoting Beyonce Sharma Jayegi was also met with backlash, as fans pointed out the racist undertones of the song. it is the lyrics — Chamkeeli lachkeeli tu jo kamar yeh hilayegi, tujhe dekh ke goriya Beyonce sharma jayegi  (which translates to “after looking at you fair woman, Beyonce will feel shy”) that triggered an outrage among netizens, with many calling out the song for its racist implications.

“The term ‘goriya‘ has been so often and traditionally used in Indian songs to address a girl, that it didn’t occur to any of us to interpret it in the literal manner,” said the director. During an interaction with Hindustan Times, the filmmaker apologised and said, “First, without any hesitation or excuses we want to apologise to anyone offended. We assure you that the lyric in question was never intended racially.” Defending his stance on the choice of the word, Mr Khan added, “In fact, the term ‘goriya‘ has been so often and traditionally used in Indian songs to address a girl, that it didn’t occur to any of us to interpret it in the literal manner.”

Speaking of the comparison with Beyonce facet, Maqbool Khan said the song wasn’t meant to disrespect the icon. “The comparison with Beyonce is simply meant to be a street-smart guy flattering a girl who is trying to impress that her dancing/performance is worth comparing to even Beyonce who we all see as the final word, the epitome of talent, beauty, performance, style and attitude.

According to a report in Mid-day, Beyonce has trademarked her name to avoid commercial use. The report also stated that the makers are likely to rework on the lyrics of the song to avoid a legal battle. “In a pre-emptive move, the makers are now planning to rewrite the song to avoid legal repercussions. A final call will be taken this week. With the dance number being called out for racism, it will be an unwise move to take on an international star like Beyoncé, especially at a time when the Black Lives Matter movement has set the stage for equality,” a source was quoted saying by the publication.

Virtual Assistants have also started understanding Hindi

Virtual Interaction means Artificial Intelligence is gradually strengthening its place in our lives, whether you realize it or not. It is not only affecting our working practices but also changing them- whether we work in Hindi or English. A great example of this is the change in the way computers, mobiles and other digital devices interact. Traditionally, we used to rely on a keyboard, mouse and monitor or screen to make input and to know output in these devices. This method of communication and conversation has changed with the advent of Artificial Intelligence. An interesting change has come in our interaction with virtual assistants, for whom Hindi is no longer unknown at all. Today, the world of computers and mobiles is dominated by four virtual assistants. These are Amazon’s  Alexa, Google’s Google Assistant, Microsoft’s Cortana and Apple’s Siri. The first three of these virtual assistants have been introduced to Hindi in some way, while Hindi has been used with Apple’s Siri and it is expected that this relationship will soon be seen as a reality beyond experiments.

Google Assistant: Google Assistant is now able to execute dozens of instructions in Hindi and can go much further than searching the Internet or answering questions. For example, it also has the ability to access many other Google applications. You can do it with text as well as for instructions through sound. If you have converted it into a smart home using the Internet of Things in your home, then it can control many things in the house. If Google Assistant is not present in your smartphone, then download it from Play Store. After installing you have to make two settings. First, activate voice input in Hindi on your Android phone and second, go to Settings and add Hindi in search language as well. Google Assistant is not only available in Android smartphones, but it works in many devices controlled by Android.

Cortana:  Microsoft’s Cortana also helps you as an application. It is available in Windows 10. It is also able to access your computer like other virtual assistants. Able to open applications, software etc. within it. It can also do typing for you and do an internet search and all kinds of calculations. Although Hindi support in Cortona is limited, it does have the ability to translate, write, and speak Hindi.

Amazon’s Alexa: Alexa is a hardware tool capable of communicating in Hindi that comes in two forms. The first smart speaker is the Amazon Echo and the second is the combined Echo Show with a display screen. The way the user communicates with both is the same. You give him some spoken instructions and Alexa follows up what you said. It can fetch you anything from the Internet, you can listen to the news and music on your request. For video calling also you can use its display version.

Tencent out of the Way….

The developer of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has cut ties with Tencent (TCEHY) in India in a bid to skirt a government ban on Chinese mobile apps in one of the video game’s most lucrative markets.PUBG Corporation said in a statement on Tuesday that Tencent Games in India will no longer be authorized to publish the mobile version of its PUBG franchise. The South Korean gaming company said it will take on all publishing responsibilities itself within the country, where PUBG was the biggest grossing mobile game last month.

PUBG was the top mobile game by monthly active users in India last year, according to analytics firm AppAnnie. In the first half of this year, it was downloaded more than 54 million times, analytics firm Sensor Tower told CNN Business. Last month, it generated $2.2 million in revenue, earning the most among India’s top 20 mobile games. The news will come as a blow to Tencent (TCEHY), which has already had its popular messaging app WeChat banned in India. It is also contending with a possible WeChat ban in the United States. Tencent did not immediately respond to a request for comment on PUBG’s announcement.India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has now banned nearly 200 mobile apps originating from China, according to Gateway House, a foreign policy think tank in Mumbai. In June it banned the short-form video app TikTok, which is owned by ByteDance. The ministry did not immediately respond to a request for comment on whether PUBG’s actions will give Indian fans access to themobile version of the game again.

A week after PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite were banned in India citing threats to national security. South Korea-based PUBG Corporation has said it was working with the Government of India to resolve the issue. PUBG’s solution is to start publishing all games itself in India and not via Chinese tech major Tencent Games.

Within two days of the ban, both Google Play Store and Apple App store have removed PUBG Mobile as well as PUBG Mobile Lite. Both apps had millions of downloads in the country. “It has seen an overwhelming amount of support for the game from the country’s player base and would like to thank the community for their passion and enthusiasm,” PUBG noted.

The South Korean maker of popular mobile game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, or PUBG, is looking to partner an Indian gaming firm in an attempt to resurrect its fortunes in its biggest market.

A person aware of the negotiations said a new licensing agreement is in the works with an Indian gaming firm to pass on the rights to run the PUBG Mobile game in India.

Unlike earlier, PUBG Corp. will now retain the publishing rights for the game, with the Indian partner handling the distribution
