8 Mistakes keeping you Landing your Dream Coding Job

Software program improvement has been essentially the most in-demand job within the nation for 3 years working. But many coders fight to interrupt into the trade.

Listed below are 8 mistakes which actually can hold you from landing your dream coding job. Scroll this article down to read them.

  1. You realized the improper coding language stack: It is considered to be the highest mistake. The best and helpful stack is the .NET stack which incorporates a lot of numbers of languages like C#, HTML, Java Script, CSS and many more. This .NET stack is specially designed for net purposes and is most in-demand.  .NET is the basic and primary stack that you need to be taught in order to be a professional on this trade or job.
  2. You are not taught sensible coding abilities: It is the biggest drawback that many coders are facing right now.  Employers need coders who can actually solve the enterprise issue but it is very sad that many of the universities on focus on theories and not on sensible expertise. If you are not taught sensible coding abilities or are made experts, you cannot develop this sensible coding ability by your own.
  3. You have a no or a very weak portfolio: When you are brand new coder without any expert knowledge, and having a very weak portfolio or at all no portfolio, it is a very serious mistake that you are making. Without any portfolio, you do not have any proof that you are good coder and neither cannot claim it. It is great drawback. To be expertise in coding, your portfolio should concentrate on initiatives that are really very helpful and can provide real-world experience.
  4. Your battle/fight in interviews:  There are many coders who still fight to get employed just because they cannot crack the interview or are not at all good at interview.  This kind of interviews plays a ‘code trivia’ reaction, quizzing you on obscure code lingo data.  When you undergo an empty mind and flub, even one query, you can be taking out of the working. Speaking about your portfolio demonstrates you will have the required coding abilities and data making the ‘code trivia’ questions much less vital.
  5. You do not have a proper recruiter:  Not having a proper recruiter is a big mistake. Generally, by the point you apply a place online, a recruiter always submit the ten certified candidates. It is because the recruiter has already taken the place. The truth is that in order to get a job you need a recruiter. Without the recruiter, the door of interview is going to open at all. That is simply the way it works.
  6. You are too choosy for your first job:  Many coders are unable to get job because they are very much choosy about their first job.  When you flip down your first job, there is no assure that you are going to get another one. To get your dream job, you have to first gain expertise. So if you get the first job, it is advisable to take it. You will gain some expertise knowledge and later you will get your distinct job.
  7. You must work on communication: Poor communication can be an obstacle to your dream profession. To improve your communication, interact in conversation with a need to be useful. When asked about your coding, try to clarify the way it works and the way you arrived at your likings.  Try to keep your work appear much less mysterious to these.  Keep away from technical phrases and acronyms. When you can talk and communicate effectively, you develop yourself to be a rock star.
  8. You must a specialization: To get your first job, you need to simply have the knowledge and the preferred coding languages.  If you do not specialize yourself, there is no means to advance to your dream job.

Apps, video games, AI and mobile phones working programs often work differently and in an extra-specialized language. If you want to compete for these high on-demand jobs, you need to lean the coding languages.

Search for job postings on your dream job to establish the languages you might need to be taught. After that you can begin searching your dream job in your leisure time.

Corporations that may navigate this method and use their information successfully can greater than double their profit margin and profitability.

Here we have listed 3 ways how to stop your organizations’ safety wants from halting the digital transformation. Scroll the article down to read.

• Safety is the place where the cloud is

The way forward for safety lies within the ‘cloud’ an ambiguous time period that a lot implies your knowledge is saved invisibly within the sky some place.

The cloud is a software program which companies run on the web slightly than in laptop’ onerous drive. The information is saved and can be accessed over the web slightly than regionally, which can sometimes make the companies confused. This is leaping into the next generation of security.

Trusting the cloud software truly means trusting the business offering cloud storage companies. In the eleventh hour the business can run the risk of outrages which can last up to for several hours. Intellectual property also may cause difficulty in cloud storage.

But still cloud computing and cloud based storage options are the long run. Native storage is also possible. Cloud safety can supply lowered price since the necessity to spend money on devoted hardware is eradicated.

It helps in familiarizing group functions also. Use all versatile programs that can give a corporate an aggressive edge and can maintain gears towards long run .

•Tokenization is a safe digital transformation

Tokens are a topic that not a number of corporations have heard of. But it can earn undoubtedly profits. A digital token is an asset and also the digital illustration of it.

The digital token may symbolises the rights to important entry a type or a particular knowledge. Safety token are very much helpful for personal security also.  The safety token can be mistaken with a utility token but Howey Check is available to distinguish them.

Safety are also helpful for corporations to pay dividends and shares and generate earnings from token holders.

By using these tokens, companies can deal with their properties with an ease.  They are sometimes underutilized but still there are many companies that are much concerned about owning tokenization of digital transform as safety tokens present a number of promises.

•Funding for cyber security

Companies can be restricted from their progress  as they do not know how much money they should spend on cyber security. Cyber security has become a main priority now-a-days because of cyber threats.

Many companies or corporations nonetheless understand on their cyber defences. They depend on primary cyber security types like anti-virus and firewalls. But now-a-days cyber threats needs extra protection and refinements.

Authentication and digital signatures can become protective shields to corporations to protect organizations from cyber threats and companies should spend smart on these vital issues.

On this manner the digital transformation of a company proceed even though not having an excessive amount of about cyber threats.

So these are some of the simple handful of steps that can actually stop an organization from being left behind in its digital transformation. Companies must realize the right ways so that they are not left behind.

IPL Fun with a Trick.

There is no doubt in the saying “It is not only a game, it is festival of India”. And every year it amazes us like we are kid and it always surprise us with a chocolate.

Hello there, As you all are I’m also become an IPL lover. But, trust me I was not. Because at first I thought these all games are fixed or kind of scripted. And soon enough I realized that my perception needs to be changed. Man! In this year 2020, IPL is the only good things happening after work from home. Don’t you believe, huh!

I’m not going to preach you about the game or about any player. Come on you all are fully aware about it , and I know it perfectly. Today, all I wanted to talk about those how are too attached to this game that it brings a kind of personal loss to them. Are you all are mad or what? Like, I know that there should be something which motivates you to do it. But, you all must have heard that it’s the path that is beautiful not the destination.

I came up with an idea that I don’t support any particular team at all. That thing is scary and depressing. So, all I do is enjoy a match. And I’m sure you all do, but, I enjoy in different manner. Like, there must be some time when you get sad because your team player got out, or you get happy because your team player hit a six. But, for me I’m happy in the both the case. Like I don’t enjoy a game from one point but the both point of view. From the bowler and the batting team.

This technique not only increase my level of excitement for the IPL but it also save me from any personal sadnesses, like my younger brother have.

Think about and you have your choice. So, tell me what you want to say about this topic down belon in comment section. Till then

Azad Hind Fauj & WWII

The Provisional Government of Free India (or, more simply, Azad Hind) was an Indian Temporary Government created during the Second World War in Japanese occupied Singapore, supported by the Empire of Japan and, in large measure, by it. The government was formed in October 1943.

The provisional government consisted of a cabinet ministry acting in a Subhas Bose advisory committee, who was called ‘Netaji’ and certainly the dominant figure in the interim administration. He practised virtual authoritarian control over the administration and the army. Regarding first war statements released by the government, “the Cabinet was not unanimous in its decision to incorporate the USA. Bose had shown impatience and annoyance-his absolute authority was never at all in any doubt at the time: the Cabinet had no liability and only could provide advice.

BOSE travelled to Tokyo at the end of Oct., 1943 as an observer to the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity-Sphere of Japan to participate in the Greater East Asia conferences. The conferences were not held as a delegate because India had been legally removed from Japan ‘s concept of Greater East Asia. By the end of the meeting, the government of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands which the Imperial Japan Navy captured earliest in war had been given to Azad Hind.

Military Azad Hind, in the form of the INA had some success against the British, and moved to the city of Imphal in eastern India with the Japanese army. Plans to march towards Delhi, to win support and new recruits, have both been stopped since the moonlight season started and Imphal wasn’t captured. British bombing severely reduced morality and the Japanese started their withdrawal from India along with INA forces.

Besides the losses of the INA, in the winter of 1944–1945, the troops left to protect Rangoon without the help of the Japanese faced a daunting challenge. In order to be field commander, Loganathan was transferred to the Andaman Islands. In the absence of any other police force or military force during the time between Japanese departure and arrival of the British, the INA garrison was approximately 6,000 strong and occupied the Burmese capital. He was effective in holding law and order to the degree that during the duration of 24 April to 4 May 1945, there was no single case of dacoity or pillaging recorded.

Almost all the Provisional Government territory was situated in the Andaman Islands while some control over Indian enclaves in Japanese occupied territories was authorised by the Provisional Government. The provisional civilian government has never been named in INA occupied areas; instead it has been controlled by Japanese military authority and shared by the Japanese and Indian forces, responsibility for the management of the occupied areas of India.

The INA was left without support from the Japanese to defend[citation required] Rangoon against British advance. The government of Azad Hind, which had formed in the Andaman and the Nicobar Insels, collapsed when the island’s guards, Japanese and Indian, were defeated and the islands were recovered. Bose was suggested to leave Burma to begin its fight for Indian independence. Bose himself was supposedly killed in a crash from Taiwan to avoid Russia. With the deaths of the Axis, the INA and Bose vanishing in 1945, the provisional government of Free India ceased to exist.

The soldiers who controlled the Indian National Army brigades were captured by the British as prisoners of war. A number of these inmates, including Colonel Gurbaksh Singh Dhillon, were brought to India and convicted by British courts for trace.

Clement Attlee, who was British Prime Minister during India’s Independence, represents the true degree to which the INA ‘s actions affected the decision to quit India. Attlee cites many factors, including the INA operations of Subhas Chandra Bose, which undermined the very base in India of the British Empire, and the Royal Indian Navy Mutiny, which led the British to recognise that Indian army support could not be relied on.

Self-love

I’m not being sexist but this concept of self love must have been introduced by women, because when I see men, I don’t find these type of words really exist for them. And see now it’s like in the air. Actually, men get inspired by women but they don’t accept because of male ego or whatever. But,  action speaks more then words, na!

Hello there, how was your day? Don’t get me wrong but I’m asking you to ask yourself this question everyday before the day gets over. It is also a kind of self love, and when you will be able to answer this question to yourself in a very elaborating manner then you will start getting yourself better. In starting it can be little fussy but as the time passes you will learn it’s importance and will also able to see it’s impact on you.

Now a days, people thinks that everything a particular person do, should also be able to defend there own doing in the world. Like, if I’m doing something which is even though not good for me or the society, but, to save me from everyone else i should be able to defend my doing. And this is bullshit. Soon you will start doing whatever you want no matter it’s good or bad when you are ready to defend it. This is not self loving, it is self manipulation. And there’s a huge difference between them.

Self love is like accepting yourself, your own habits with its flaws. It is never to defend your flaws. If you keep defending you flaws you will be heading towards wrong way. You can never be someone who can be admired in the same society where you are trying to be cool and loveable just by putting yourself as priority.

Knowing yourself means accepting and evolving yourself. The better you know your flaws is the better you get with it. I Don’t say that defending yourself from the outer world is not good but everytime is not good. It’s always you who knows the real intention behind doing any work. So, if you keep your good intentions it will be you get benefits of it and if you are not then it will also be you who will face the conciquences.

So, try to improvise yourself by facing the real you in personal because that’s what self love means.

First Covid-19 vaccine to be available in India by early 2021, says health ministry

As the world races to develop a potential vaccine against coronavirus (Covid-19), the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Monday said that the first vaccine in India will most likely be available by early 2021.null

The health ministry said the research to develop a Covid-19 vaccine is being “done expeditiously”.

During a media briefing, Union health minister Dr Harsh Vardhan said, “Research to develop a vaccine is being done expeditiously. There ar at least 3 viable such vaccine candidates that are in the phase of clinical trials right now in the country. We’re hopeful that within 1st quarter of 2021 it will be available”, as quoted by ANI.

With a spike of 82,170 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours, India’s Covid-19 tally crossed the 60-lakh mark on Monday, according to the data provided by health ministry.

The health ministry on Monday also released the 100-year timeline history of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) .

“Today’s a historic day for ICMR. It’s an honour for me to release the 100-year timeline of the history of ICMR within its premises today. The contribution of scientists associated with it is commemorated and serves as an inspiration to upcoming scientists,” Dr Vardhan told media.

Relevance of Vocational Education in India

Vocational education primarily deals with skill developmentaimed at increasing the employability of an individual. It is also known as Career and Technical Education (CTE) and as Vocational Education and Training (TVET). In consists of several practical courses that help people in building skills and experience which would be directly beneficial in a certain career path. In times of economic crisis, such as now, unemployment rises exponentially. In such a scenario where uncertainty looms over the youth’s future, vocational education serves as a safety net for many. While some vocational courses are offered at secondary and senior secondary levels in school, vocational education primarily takes place in post-secondary and college level. A 2019 report by the World Bank highlighted the importance of vocational education as a means for workers to compete in changing labour markets.

The labour market is evolving at a fast speed, and with most employers now demand knowledge of practical skills from their workers. Enrolling in vocational courses would not only benefit those who wish to add certain skills to their resume, but also to those individuals who wish to start earning as soon as possible. In a country as fraught with economic inequalities as India, many out-of-school adults wish to start earning as soon as possible. For a majority of India’s youth, mainstream education after grade twelve serves little purpose. They wish to learn skills that would guarantee employment in a short time, primarily because of a lack of resources that could fund higher education. There is, however, another demographic that stands to gain from vocational education. Individuals who are clear about their career path can take up skill-centric courses that would contribute to their training for a prospective job. For instance, those who wish to pursue a career in flying may directly enrol in aviation programmes without pursuing an academic degree.

The government of India recognises the role of education and skill-development in economic growth. As a result, several institutions across India are either partially or wholly funded by the Central government and various State governments. Industrial Training Institutes or ITIs offer full-time vocational courses, and they are provided recognition and certification by the Ministry of Labour, Government of India. Some several colleges and universities also offer part-time vocational courses, sometimes through distance learning. However, the government needs to streamline the courses offered by various national and state-level institutions for the youth to become more compatible with the existing job market. The critical elements of existing vocational training programs need to be modified even as these programs are made more flexible to accommodate the dynamic labour market which is vulnerable to changes due to forces of globalisation acting upon it. Issues specific to the Indian context also need to be taken up, such as high drop-out rate, lack of partnerships with the private sector, untrained and underqualified teaching faculty and red-tapism. In addition to this, the focus should be there on building an accessible channel of continuous skill up-gradation so that the workforce could update its skills and not become obsolete after the passage of some time.

Adopt, Not Shop: Why It Is The Better Way

Most of us, at one point of time or another, have dreamt of having a pet. And amongst them, dogs have a soft place in the heart of the majority. And why not? They are the sweetest creatures you can ever come across, extremely loyal and are very unique companions. Apart from being cuddly and best at making puppy eyes (no pun intended! ), that is. So, when we think of bringing a furry friend home, we often think that they come with a hefty amount. But now times are changing. People are realising the worth of adopting. And if by any chance anyone reading this is planning to get a furry friend, I’ll try to put my point forward that why we should ‘Adopt, Not Shop’.

Adopting a dog gives a chance to a good life for two dogs. One is to your pet, who might have had faced something traumatic in life, and is in need of love and understanding. In such cases, the bonding between the owner and the pet is much stronger. As for the other one, adopting one dog opens up the slot for another one. So, one more rescued dog would have better facilities, better environment to develop and will have better access to the opportunity to be adopted by another good Samaritan. It is a kind of an endless chain of goodwill and love.

Another advantage of adopting over shopping is that they are really cheap in comparison to the market prices. And at the same time, there is a full blown possibility of you finding your one true loved breed amongst the less fortunate ones. With love and care, each pup blooms out to be a gorgeous dog, adopted or otherwise. Also, all the money that was to go in purchasing the dog can be used instead for the costs of food and grooming. Maybe give your furry friend a good spa day!

Another point to note is that the pet you purchase from a breeder or from a shop is most likely to be a puppy. Now no offense to the puppy lovers, but let’s agree on one thing, it’s hard to train the younglings. A puppy is no different. With the usual care that a pet deserves, they also require extra attention and training. Not an affordable thing to do for many people. INstead, if an older dog is adopted, they already have an understanding of how things work and can also be left alone for a longer period of time (not that everyone wants to do that).

And lastly, you would be standing against an inhuman practice. Of dog breeding. Though not in the mainstream media, but in recent times, the pathetic conditions of this industry has come forward, where the female dogs are treated as nothing more than a birth machine. Often, the living and food standards are very bad. All and all, this is an inhumane way to fulfill and keep up with the market demand. The scene is the same for the specialized dog breeders. All in all, the dogs are treated more with a materialistic approach rather than considering them beings with emotions.

Adopting requires just some research and patience. That goes into the shopping way too. And at the end of the day, they all are the same lovable companion we crave and can cuddle with!

Pollen Allergy: What Made It A Human Contributed Problem ?

Season changes are hard to deal with for many individuals. And just because of the change in humidity and temperature, but also due to the reproductive cycle of the plants. Yup, the infamous ‘allergen’ pollen, which causes pollen allergy. Infact, some people tend to have allergies across a large period over the year, as for various plants release pollen at different seasons. And a serious thing to note is that allergic reactions can get real bad real fast. Especially for people with respiratory problems. And you know what’s funny, we humans might be contributing to this problem. Now, I know what are you thinking, those are plants, how are we responsible? But in a way we are. And I would like to explain how….

Basic Biology

Since plants cannot move, they have altogether different mechanisms for reproduction and species continuation. On the basis of presence and functionality of the reproductive parts on a plant, they can be divided into monoecious (same plant has both male and female flowers, may or may not self fertilize) and dioecious (plant can have only one type of flower male or female). Flowers, in turn, can be classified into three categories: staminate (contains only male reproductive structures), pistillate/carpellate (contains only female reproductive structures) and hermaphrodite (contains both in the same flower). So, needless to day, some monoecious and all the dioecious plants have to have some methods involving external agencies for the male gametes to reach the female ones.

One of the most common dispersive factors for plant reproduction is air. Since the male gametes, better known as pollen, tend to be quite smaller in comparison to the female gamete, ovule. Hence, the pollen are usually the ones that commute for the fertilization to happen. And the air borne pollen is very light, for they sometimes need to travel large distances. Needless to say, they tend to remain in the atmosphere for long periods of time. Pollens are also dispersed by animals, a lion’s share of them being insects. Again, indirectly, they go back in the atmosphere. The inclusion and buildup of pollen in the atmosphere increases the susceptibility to the pollen allergy.

Rampant Pollens

Plantation drives are now being organized on large scales to preserve the environment. Plants in the commercial and residential areas are a must now. And in planned cities, especially in developed countries, separate areas are demarcated for developing a natural ecosystem. Apart from the uses to the human beings, these are also inviting grounds for the local fauna. But human beings can be honest, sometimes to comfort seeking. Hence, when the arborists discovered that having male plants in the urban regions will be less maintenance costly and easier to clean up (in comparison to female trees shedding flowers and seeds), male plants became an immediate and dominant presence in the urban botanical landscape.

This phenomenon of ‘Botanical Sexism’, as termed by the horticultural expert Tom Ogren, has taken an ugly turn in U.S. Male plants were given that much of preference that the monoecious plants were altered as to produce only male reproductive counterparts. Due to overpopulation of male trees, tons and tons of unchecked pollen is dispersed in the atmosphere. And with no female trees in the vicinity to trap these pollen grains, things went awry. An overdose of pollen has triggered an increase in the amount of population suffering from allergic reactions, and also has contributed to a rising number of cases of hayfever and asthma patients in many developed nations.

Whew, the things favoritism might do…

Amazing Uses for Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera Gel for Face and Hair - LA Organo

Aloe vera has been known for its healing properties for at least 6,000 years. In the early days, the plant was known for being a “plant of immortality” and was presented to Egyptian pharaohs as a funeral gift. These days, aloe has an entire industry behind it. Its juices are used in cosmetics and personal-care products such as moisturizers, soap, shaving cream, and suntan lotion. The aloe vera product that probably comes to mind most easily is the bright green gel that’s stocked on drugstore shelves. You’ve probably used it to soothe a nasty sunburn.Aloe vera is also available in supplement form, which is said to offer the same possible benefits to the skin and digestive system as other versions of the plant.

The latest in aloe vera trends is the introduction of aloe-based drinks, such as aloe vera juice and aloe vera water. The plant juices are usually mixed with citrusy juice to make aloe vera juice or water to make aloe vera water.Aloe vera on its own can taste a little bitter, so many brands will add flavor or sweeteners to the bottle. Take a look at the bottle’s ingredients list to make sure it’s not packed with loads of added sugars.

What Are the Potential Health Benefits of Aloe Vera?

There’s not enough evidence to prove that aloe vera can treat all the health issues it’s said to help with. (2) But the plant has been linked to many potential benefits, including:

  • Digestive help Aloe latex contains aloin, which is an anthraquinone that gives aloe vera its laxative properties.
  • Treating skin conditions, such as acne Aloe creams have a calming effect on the skin and have been shown to help reduce itchiness and inflammation.
  • Sunburn relief Some people swear by aloe to calm a sunburn. You might have experienced the gel’s cooling effect yourself, but the research backing up the claim that it can speed skin recovery is lacking. One small study, for instance, found aloe vera didn’t have any effect on treating a sunburn when compared with a placebo.
  • Wound healing Aloe gel may help expedite the healing process of burns or cuts on the skin.
  • Heartburn relief Researchers found aloe vera helped lessen several symptoms, including heartburn, belching, and vomiting.
  • Lower blood sugar A study found drinking two tablespoons of aloe vera juice every day for two weeks helped lower the blood sugar levels among people with type 2 diabetes.  developing heart disease.

You can use aloe vera to keep your skin clear and hydrated. This may be because the plant thrives in dry, unstable climates. To survive the harsh conditions, the plant’s leaves store water. These water-dense leaves, combined with special plant compounds called complex carbohydrates, make it an effective face moisturizer and pain reliever.

A new study published in Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine looked at the therapeutic properties of aloe emodin, a compound in the plant’s leaves. The authors suggest that the succulent shows potential in slowing the growth of breast cancer. However, more studies are needed to further advance this theory. There are a number of ways to use the aloe vera plant and the various gels and extracts that can be made from it. Researchers are continuing to discover new methods to put this succulent to use. Be sure to consult your doctor if you plan to use aloe vera in a medicinal manner, especially if you take medication.

Azad Hind Fauj & its Establishment

The Provisional Government of Free India (or, more simply, Azad Hind) was an Indian Temporary Government created during the Second World War in Japanese occupied Singapore, supported by the Empire of Japan and, in large measure, by it. The government was formed in October 1943.

It became part of an outside Indian nationalist movement in the 1940s in order to ally with Axis forces to free India from the British government. It was set up in exile with financial, military and political support from Imperial Japan during the latter part of the Second World War in Singapore. Created on October 21 1943, Subha Chandra Bose was influenced by the idea of government and the head of state. In southeast Asian British Colonial territory, the government declared control over Indian civil and military staff in Japan and the Indian National Army to collapse on the Japanese drive towards India.

The Azad Hind Government had its own currency, court and civil code and gave greater credibility to the war for independence against the British, in the eyes of some Indians. In 1943, the Japanese occupying Andaman and Nicobar Islands also handed over nominees to Japan, while the government remained dependent on support from Japan.

Free India declared war on the Indo-Burma Front immediately following the establishment of the provisional government. His army, the Indian National Army, was engaged in the Imphal-Kohima sector with the British Indian Army and allied forces. The INA had its first major operation at the imphal war, where it violated the British defences at Kohima under the command of the Japanese Fiveth Army until the Allies suffered a disastrous defeat and Allied air superiority, as well as compromised supply lines force the Japanese and the INA to retire. The INA was the first to make a major effort to fight Imphal.

Azad Hind ‘s presence coincided primarily with the Indian National Army’s presence. Although the government itself continued to reassume the competence of the British before the end of the war before the civil administration of the Andaman Islands, the small force of Azad Hind actually came to an end with the surrender of the latest major INA troops in the area of Rangoon. Bose ‘s death is seen as the culmination of the whole movement of Azad Hin.

Azad Hind ‘s legacy is however subject to judgement. The Raj saw the transformation from traitors and allies of Azad Hind ‘s view into “the strongest of the patriots” with alarm after the battle. Given the wave of militant nationalism which was sweeping through India and the sorrow and rebellion it inspired, the overall purpose of the British Indian Army was ultimately successful in fostering popular frustration and rebellion in order to overthrow the Raj.

Two conferences of Indian expatriates from across South East Asia can be associated with the direct roots of Azad Hind, the first one taking place in Tokyo in March 1942. The Indian Independence League was formed as a first step towards an independent Indian state that is politically allied with the Empire of Japan, in the course of this conference called by Rash Behari Bose, an Indian expatriate living in Japan. Rash also moved to establish a kind of army of independence that helped push British people from India – later on the Indian National Army. Later that year, Subhas Chandra Bose was invited to participate in the League Leadership at a second conference in Bangkok. At the time, Bose stayed in Germany and went on the submarine to Japan.

Rash Behari Bose, who was already old when the League was formed, had trouble organising the League and failed to obtain resources to create the Nazi Army. As president of the Indian Independence League, Chandra Bose was replaced by Subhas. There is some debate as to whether he has stepped down through his volition or by the Japanese, whose involvement the Indian nationalists wanted to become more strong and centred.

In a bid to bring British citizens out of the grasp of the sub-continent, Bose arrived in Tokyo on 13 June 1943 and announced his intent to launch an attack against eastern India provinces. Bose arrived in Singapore on 2 July and formally declared in October 1943 that the Provisional Government of Free India would be formed. Subha declared: “This is the duty of the temporary administration to begin and lead the fight to expel the British and their allies from the south of India,” describing the tasks of this new political base. With the assistance of Japanese, Bose formally took command of Rash Bose, the demoralised and undermined Indian National Army. He recruited Indian civilians living in South-East Asia occupied by Japanese, and integrated numerous Indian soldiers from British forces into INA brigades in Singapore, Malaya and Hong Kong.

A cabinet headed by the Subhas Chandra Bose as head of state, the prime minister, the minister for war and foreign affairs consists of the Provisional Government of Free India.

The Minister in Charge of the Women’s Organization was Captain Dr Lakshmi Swaminadhan. She was the head of a Rani Jhansi Battalion, a women’s soldier brigade fighting for the Indian National Armed Forces. This women’s regiment was very visionary for a regular Asian army; it was the first of its kind in the world. Before she gave up her practise in leadership of the Jhansi Regiment Rani troops, Dr Lakshmi was one of the most prominent and active gynaecologists in Singapore.

Partha Chatterjee: West Bengal Education Minister

The new academic session of both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) colleges and universities in West Bengal will begin from December 1. The decision came after a meeting between Vice-Chancellors of state universities and West Bengal Higher Education Minister Partha Chatterjee on Sunday.

Education Minister Partha Chatterjee said that the reason they are planning to start the new academic session in December is because host of festivals that are lined up in November including Lakshmi puja, Kali puja/Diwali, Chhat puja, Jagaddhatri puja etc.

Chatterjee said, “As we need to sanitise the institution premises before starting the academic session in full course, we have to take into account the four-five festive days when no work will be possible. So it will be in the fitness of things to start the new sessions from December.”

He said since most universities have already adopted online teaching for the mid semester courses and providing course materials to students who don’t have online facilities, starting the new session won’t be hopefully of much problem.

“Still whether the classes will be entirely online or there will also be offline mode of teaching will depend on the situation at that time,” the minister added.

While admissions to UG courses will be over by October 31, the admission procedure in PG courses will be completed only by the end of November.

The education minister said his department would write to the University Grants Commission (UGC), asking it to allow the state to start the new academic year from December.

In a notice on September 22, the UGC said the admission process for UG first-year students would have to be completed by October 31, and classes should resume on November 1.

Meanwhile, sources said the universities decided to reserve 80 per cent of seats in PG courses for students who completed their graduation in an affiliated college, or in the institute itself. The decision was taken because of the Covid-19 pandemic, and curbs in transport. As a result, many graduates may find it difficult to pursue higher studies in institutions outside the state.

What Are Piranhas?

Movies love  to show Piranhas as nasty creatures of the sea. But do we know the exact anatomy of these creatures? What do these species include? And how dangerous can they really be..?

If we look for their size,as to what sizes can they go up to,these sea animal’s sizes basically depend on their exact species. But mostly,Piranhas can grow about 12cm to 35 cm long. Although, some can grow larger, growing as big as 50cms. Some experts claim that Piranhas can grow higher than that, though the necessary proofs are not known or not identified. It is believed that the Piranhas in the past, and by past I mean about 10million years ago. These were called Megapiranha which managed to reach upto 71 to 100cms! Unfortunately though, these Piranhas are extinct and are no longer found,at least not until today that is..

  • But…what are they exactly..?

If we look into their Morphology (morphology can be roughly be explained as a study of the structure of a particular organism. The branch of study is actually quite interesting!)

Morphology is a bit different from the size of the organism.

Anyways, many species are quite similar due to their specific dental structure. Don’t get your hopes up though,All Piranhas have grazing teeth on both their upper and lower jaws. They have  very ‘tightly packed’ teeth which are sort of triangular in shape when observed individually. This property makes them rapidly puncture any surface quite easily. Their teeth are extremely strong for  organisms like them. The larger the jaw muscles, the stronger the fish’s bite can be. How strong are their teeth, though? Well, just get this that their minor teeth are often used to cut hairs. And, Piranhas are not carnivorous, but are omnivores just like us!Set aside their deadly teeth of course..

If we look into their species and all the ecological factors,Piranhas belong to the ‘subfamily’ of Serrasalminae(have a lovely time pronouncing that:D ) The species of these organisms range from 30 to 60 different organisms.

  • Where are these animals found..?

These hairat of these organisms lies in the fresh waters i.e rivers! Okay,so the habitat must have a fresh water basin and maybe a rainforest and at some places, swamps as well. And where are such conditions found..?

  1. Amazon Basin
  2. The rivers of  Guianas
  3. Orinoco
  4. Paraguay
  5.  Rivers of Sāo Francisco

Nature always manages to surprise us. Some species have also been found in the south-eastern regions of Bangladesh and were also spotted in a river flowing through China.

But what if I want them in my native? Well,we can breed them artificially, can’t we?

  • How are they so famous?

It all began with the visit of the former American President,Theodore Roosevelt. The President, who visited Brazil in the ear 1913 went  hunting(it was the year 1913 so..may be hunting at that time was not really illegal). The local fishermen wanted to have the President a great spectacle to see and which is why they blocked of a part of the river trapping the Piranhas and starving them. When  the President crossed the river, the locals pushed a cow inside the river, and within seconds of time, the cow was a mere skeleton..(brutal?at those times, probably not)

Later, when the President wrote a book,he described his expedition where in, he described Piranhas to be ‘vicious creatures.’ And that’s probably where the movies and the cartoons got their inspiration from.

  • How do you survive these creatures?

Piranhas work in groups. They are said to be working together by the means of swarming. These creatures respond to noises. So…if you ever get stuck with Piranhas, make sure that you make the least disturbing noises. The lesser, the better. And Piranhas are actually timid organisms and only attack when they are hungry or if you are too near to them or their eggs. Mostly, the Red-bellied Piranhas are believed to be the ones which are the most aggressive.  They usually breed on fish meat,or the carcasses (dead bodies) of the animals. But what about living organisms? Piranhas only attack them if they are dying or if they look as a threat. So never panic if you have to confront them.

Actually, one can’t really blame them. It’s not like we don’t eat meat. Then why are they called dreadful or dangerous? The animals which we eat might think the same. These are the laws of nature. Nobody remains without a stain in their hands. In fact,in some places,Piranhas are even said to be a delicacy! And it’s not like they have emotions like we do and just hunt for their survival. So…. let’s not think of them that lowly.
