RISE AND SHINE BEFORE YOU TIE A KNOT

Since you were a baby girl, you always had plans and dreamt about your perfect marriage and certainly your life after that. Isn’t it? But, it’s time to rethink and live your life before someone else enters in it forever. Love yourself and never give yourself a chance to think “I wish I did this before”.  You might never get a chance to live and enjoy as much as you want after your big day. Set yourself free and be ready to rise above all. SO, girls the clock is ticking, grab your notepad and pen to add these things on your checklist before you happily tie a knot-

Know yourself – This is the first and most basic thing that you need to do. Know and discover yourself. Be aware of what you want from life and what your expectations from it are.  Make mistakes and grow out of it. Don’t stick to your past. Observe things around you and let it tell you where you belong.

Be independent– Live life the way you want to. Do things you always thought of. Be financially independent and spend the money the way you want. Pamper yourself. Take decisions for yourself. Even if the decisions are bad, they are yours and you will only gain out of it. Learn from your own experiences.

Solo trips– Every girl has this on their checklist. But how many actually do this?  It’s high time you do what you feel like. Go on solo trips, adventure life. Make new friends, learn and explore the world. It’s time to reconnect you from the world and live life without restrictions.

Become fearless – Face your anxieties and fears. Come over it. Do things you never thought you could. Surprise yourself and the world. Go hiking, driving, or learn a new sport. Know that it’s your time to rise and no one can stop you from this.

Follow your heart– Do what your heart says, follow your hobbies, and your passion. Give yourself a break and know that not all things are supposed to fall into the correct order. Life is messy but it’s a beautiful one. Sing, write, or just lay around and read your favorite book.

Time to say NO to chinese products

What more do we want ? Why are we not stopping? Are we not seeing our families suffering ?
Our country had suffered economic loss of more than 30 lakh crore. Millions of people had lost their jobs due to lockdown. People don’t have work to do. Gradually, industries are opening, they are back on track, some people are getting their jobs back , but many are not.To make India employed, government is taking various actions, government is advising citizens to make and buy indian products. If more factories are opened in our country, more people will be employed working for our own country. Indian companies do not have proper market to sell their goods because Indian markets are full of Chinese products which are considered beneficial  by public which made a tendency to buy chinese products instead of Indian product. Importing from China means increasing China’s GDP, in a simpler language, it makes China rich, by which they can buy more weapons which will be used against us, our soldiers will have to face those bullets and grenades and all such ammunition. By decreasing imports from China we can direct towards a huge loss to China, other than boycotting chinese products we have to boycott using chinese apps because when we use their app, it earned millions of money for them.
Instead of importing more, we should export more, which even increases the job opportunities.
All we have to do is, whenever we buy something just check either it is made in China or India. Buy Indian products. It’s better to circulate our money into our own country.

See Your troubles as blessings

“who would agree with me that we learn the most from our most difficult experiences”

Most of my friends and my family agree with me. Are you also….

As human nature, always focus on the negative aspects and they never focusing on those part what we learn from those worst situations. How we overcome from those situations, How we fought with the situation and finally won.

Those difficult time make us learn a lot of things that we actually don’t know. Sometime we change the way of seeing world because some difficult situation gave a new vision to see world. Some situation teaches , always help needy , who needs you. Some situation make you learn that your way of working is not that much good , so evolve your working pattern as time changes. Some of them saying not doing this same mistake again. All of the difficult situations help us to make more and more perfect person and avoid those mistakes you already did in your life. Not going to repeat your mistakes.

“Better to Lose count naming your Blessings than to lose your Blessings By counting your troubles”

If you are going to do something new , something different from league, choose your own way to make success in your life . Obviously their is a lot of troubles , barriers and you have to break them and make your own path by learning from each and every troubles whatever the situation wanna teaches you know we are going to take few examples how troubles is like blessings or teaches us a lot in your life . One of them is in our childhood when we are learning bicycle . It is most obvious and happen with most of the people that if you are not fall from bicycle during your learning period . It means that you not learnt bicycle .

“Try Try till you get success”

Second one is in current situation in this lockdown period , we all are in our home , we can utilize the time properly for doing those things which we can’t did in our life because of lack of time , we can give a lot of time to our family , pursuing those habits which we you can’t did in your running life style . Develop any new hobby , learn different things which you have to learn to make ease in your life .

Third one is if your something which is very important is it stolen or lost from you then next time your gonna very alert or conscious toward safety of your things and you start taking many precautions .

Fourth one is till march we did not producing any single piece of PPE kit but this adverse and challenging and demanding situation give us an opportunity to take it a challenge and to become second highest producer of PPE kit in globally .

Fifth one is , after independance we don’t have sufficient grains to fulfill to our country’s need so we had to import continuously from USA and any other countries but this trouble we convert it into opportunity through green revolution . And now we are the exporter of grains after fulfilling our country’s need.

And their is a lot of examples which we take from our daily lives. So it is rightly say that“Necessity is the Mother of Invention”. Don’t get demotivated from your troubles take as an opportunity and convert into blessed.

In Mahabharata Mother Kunti requested Shri Krishna to grant me grief and sorrow so that she could continuously remember the creator of the Universe and Almighty Krishna could remain with her and her family.

So by this extract of Mahabharata , I want to say that whenever you are in trouble any hindrance is going to stop your path then you are always going to remember your creator God who gives you always positive energy, positive thought, giving you power and strength to fight with your barriers. We are thinking about our present happiness & brightness. So whatever is happen in your life , different from your planning, don’t get too much disappointed, but see positivity in these situation also. The world looks like you wear glasses . If you wanna see positivity you see positive, If you wanna see negativity you will see negative.

I respectfully offer the following words of Rainer Maria Rilke, which help me a lot of time to give me strength, positivity to overcome any trouble. ……….have patience with everything that remains unsolved in your heart . Try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books written in foreign language. Do not look for the answers. They cannot now be given to you because you could not live them. It is a question of experience everything. At present, you need to live the question. Perhaps you will gradually, without even noticing it, find yourself experiencing the answers, some distant day.

How to promote interactive reading in classroom

Reading is an active process in which readers construct meanings of words. Good readers use contextual knowledge and experience to make connections with the text. They make predictions about what is going to happen next in the text, so when they read they have the motivation to find out whether they are right or wrong.

Every reader uses his/her experience or background knowledge to a text. If a teacher is able to bring out the students’ background knowledge first in the classroom, students will be able to understand the reading better. The teacher needs to provide it somehow. Teacher needs to provide activities that help students use his/her experience driven concept and information (data driven from the text) together.

Three Basic Steps to Teaching Reading

1. Pre-reading goals

i. To build or activate students’ knowledge about a topic.

ii. Assist in language preparation, give new vocabulary.

iii. To build interest – look at pictures, titles, captions etc.

2. Reading goals

i. To help students understand content

ii. To help them understand different patterns and structures, as well as main ideas and details in the text.

3. Post-reading goals

i. To discuss the content and make sure students understand what they have read and can summarise what they have read (both oral or written).

ii. In next class, work on vocabulary and grammar.

iii. Integrate the content of the reading with their knowledge of the topic, by increasing the experience through discussion or writing.

Choosing Texts

• Is the level suitable?

• Is the topic appropriate to your students – interest, culturally sensitive etc.

• How long is it ? Should be intriguing, a little challenging but something they can succeed at.

• where will they read it- class/outside or both ?

• How much grammar and technical terms is there?

• Are there pictures? Graphs ? Maps?

• Different formats should be there – poetry/prose, fiction/non-fiction.

INTERACTIVE READING ACTIVITIES

READ, TELL, LISTEN, TELL

Give a short story or paragraph to each student. They read the story individually to themselves. Now, in pairs, they tell each other their story in their own words and then listen carefully to the partner’s story. They do not read their partner’s story. Now two pairs sit together, so there are 4 students. Now students tell their PARTNER’S STORY. The partner can listen to make sure it’s correct, and correct if necessary. In whole class, ask which story they liked and if they want they can tell that story reading classes.

READING WITH HALF THE WORDS

Provide each student with a text. Ask them to fold the page in half and read one half of the page that is visible without looking at the other half. After as much speculation as possible, they can read the whole story and see if the story matched with what they thought.

STORY STRIPS

Make groups of 4 students. Give them a story cut up into strips and ask them to assemble it. Then read the story while they listen and check theirs. You may give them the text for checking further and comprehension.

These are few basic steps to teaching reading in a class with no or limited resources. The best resource is the teacher itself.

HAPPY READING!

Insights into The Student’s world amidst Covid-19

Student’s issues: The incomplete syllabus, pressure due to the ongoing pandemic, and delay in completion of degrees and diplomas are nowadays the prime concerns of students across the country. Also, the “online mode” of classes and examinations is causing trouble due to slow internet connections and lack of infrastructure especially in tier-2 and tier-3 cities due to this there have been low attendance ratios in online based classes.

Government’s response: In response to this, last week, on May 27, 2020, the Union HRD Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank conducted a digital conference with heads of more than 45,000 Higher Education Institutes and announced that students will be promoted (except final year) without exams, based on internal assessments and preceding year’s results. However, on Sunday, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray announced that the state government has decided to cancel university examinations of final year students as well.

This has given hope and relief to about eight lakh final year graduation students. This decision has been taken after considering the rapid spread of Covid-19 infections across the state. Currently, over 65,000 confirmed cases including over 2,197 deaths by SARS-2-COV have been officially cited in Maharashtra.
In an official statement, Mr. Thackeray said, ” Today we are not in a position to conduct the exams and in future when it will happen that we are also not sure. The new academic year is starting so we do not want students to miss their further educations. Those students who are not happy with the marks of last semester can reply to upgrade their marks once the situation is normal.”

Beyond lockdown: After this news became public, netizens today flooded Twitter with #examscancelled with memes. However, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) stated on May,30 that schools, colleges, educational institutions will be reopened after discussing with States and Union territories during phase two of Lockdown 5.0. Most likely, after having the suggestions from parents and stakeholders the educational institutions may reopen in July, after issuing SOP by Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW).
Our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi quoted inspirational words for students in Mann ki Baat (May, 31), ” We are responsible for making exams a burden. We should stop doing it. We must not waste our energy in competing with others. Start competing with yourself and make sure your present is better than your past.”

The optimistic spirit: Regarding this, to make the most use of this lockdown phase a shift has been observed amongst students that online skill-based courses and distant learning programs are now seen as a probable solution till a safe vaccine for Covid-19 comes into existence. During the times of pandemic, it’s true that currently, we are living through a future’s history class lesson but now it will be a vital responsibility of our nation’s youth to steer the economy and future of our nation towards glory and progress so that this chapter of history when over, be seen as a positive one in the course of our great nation’s journey.

MENTAL HEALTH-HOW TO COPE UP WITH STRESS AND ANXIETY?

Mental health includes our psychological, emotional and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel and behave. It also helps determine how we handle stress, anxiety and make healthy choices. Mental health awareness is one of the things people need during this pandemic. With all the current problems going on around the world, it is important to keep our mental health in check and so if we need to get off social media for a bit, for the sake of our mental health, then by all means, do so. Advocate, amplify but care for yourself.According to a recent survey, stress, anxiety ,depression is on the rise among Gen Z,Millennial Employees and those working from home. So these are a few tips on how to cope up with mental health stress:

1.Connect with yourself and your feelings

If your feeling angry or upset – know that it is OKAY. if you have PTO, or is facing stress in your work schedule, you might consider taking time off to reset or recharge yourself or to simply sit with your grief without worrying that you’re not being productive. If you don’t have that option right now, think about to make time in your schedule to intentionally care for yourself – for a weekend, day or an hour. Stay positive and stay healthy.

2.Make sure you meet your basic needs

We often forget to drink water, eat a meal,or go to bed at your normal hour when we are so involved in social media networking sites. But when you’re already feeling bad, skipping on basic self-care is only going to make things worse. It is important to set remainders throughout the day so that you remember to have a cup of tea ,fix lunch, relax for the night – or whatever else you need to do in order to be functioned.

3. Meditation and yoga

Meditation need not be about reaching enlightenment or accomplishing a goal. it is more about relaxing yourself and your body muscles . Take a few deep breaths to calm your nerves and and relax your mind. Quietly focus on your breathing and slowly breathe in and out for a few minutes. This would help to relieve some stress off your mind and body. I would recommend Art of Living – an organization which focuses on yoga. It really helps reduce stress and anxiety and it would really benefit people dealing with depression and anxiety.

4. Get help when you need it

If you think you your mental heath state is deteriorating ,then don’t hesitate to seek help. It is really important to do what is right for yourself which is to call a therapist and set an appointment .Counselling and greiving seesions are also a great way to cope up with this. As a growing society , we must encourage people speaking out about their problems because each person that does gives another person to fight their own demons and get help.

Mental health isn’t an individual concern. Its a societal concern. So take care of your mental health. Stay safe , stay healthy and stay positive.

Fake News-a false alarm

What will happen if one morning we wake up and check our phone which will leave us bewildered with a notification of the demise of some famous personality and after few hours of feeling sad you realize that it was a fake news, that someone made a fool out of you. Think about that personality who will read the news of his own demise , such a strange thing right? The new digital era with modern technology has unleashed many unwanted and false practices which is affecting the individuals interpret daily developments. Now this thing leaves me in a state that whether I should watch news or read news articles or just leave everything and be unaware about the facts happening around me. Let me share some of the instances where I felt that fake news is becoming a threat to people. During this time of COVID-19, where the world is suffering from a painful time , people are still spreading fake news. They are giving false information about the number of corona cases rising in India and how the nation is in a dreadful situation with fear and suffrage. https://www.firstpost.com/tag/fake-news Second incident is from CBSE where the people were spreading rumors about the board examination of 10th&12th class. Students were confused with the dates and whether the examination will take place or not, this situation was no less than a terror for them because they were not sure with the dates and evaluation. But now the things have been settled and CBSE has warned against the fake news. https://scroll.in/announcements/958428/cbse-warns-against-fake-news-regarding-2020-board-exams There are many more examples which has threatened people and made a disbelief in media, where the people are in no state whether to believe the media or not. One of the major reasons why fake news is such a threat is the increasing difficulty for readers to identify the legitimacy of wake news websites. People are trusting blindly on everything , they are not checking the facts or they are not able to make a difference between a fabricated news or a real piece of news article. The fabricated news is creating a negative impact on the people and making the situation much more worse and entangled. This is a growing debate on how to address these issues without undermining the benefits of digital media. We should be aware about every digital platform before using it. Government should take preventive measures to combat this problem and come up with a solution so that people can actually rely on real news. Government should promote news literacy and strong professional journalism in the society. The media should work really hard in developing a real piece of news without fabricating it. Tech companies should come up with apps or other tools that can identify fake news in seconds and individuals should follow some guidelines or check the facts before believing in a news article. I will conclude this article with a quote of Abraham Lincoln “Don’t believe everything you read on the internet just because there’s a picture with a quote next to it.”

V. O. Chidambaram Pillai (V.O.C.): A Great Figure in Freedom Movement

Freedom movement against the British Raj in those days was not only confined to few states but spread over across undivided India because the British came thousands and thousands kilometres away to exploit our resources including human resources. Different websites of Wikipedia reveal that during World War I, more than one million Indian soldiers forced to serve overseas, of whom 74,187 soldiers perished and little more than 67,000 were injured. Also in the World War II, more than 2.5 million Indian troops forced to join and fight on behalf of the British force around the world. I feel if we were not under the British Raj probably our persons would not have joined in both the World Wars.

Anyway, in those days in the Madras Presidency division, also many sacrificed their lives or imprisoned for participating in freedom movement or raising voice against the British Raj.  It is pertinent to mention that the Madras Presidency was an administrative subdivision (presidency) of British India. The Presidency included most of southern India, including the whole of Andhra Pradesh, and parts of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, Odisha and the union territory of Lakshadweep. The city of Madras was the winter capital of the Presidency and Ootacamund or Ooty was the summer capital (wikipedia.org/wiki/Madras_Presidency).

In this article, a great human being who was in freedom movement also an entrepreneur is presented from then the Madras Presidency.

Vallinayagan Ulaganathan Chidambaram (5 September 1872 – 18 November 1936), popularly known by his initials, V.O.C., also known as Kappalottiya Tamizhan meaning ‘The Tamil Helmsman’, was a freedom fighter and leader of Indian National Congress. He was the founder of Swadeshi Steam Navigation Company, first indigenous Indian shipping service moving between Tuticorin and Colombo with the Swadeshi Steam Navigation Company, competing against British ships. With dynamism, courage and integrity VOC/ Chidambaram raised the people against the mighty British Raj. He was at young age motivated by Shri Ramakrishnanathar, a saint and ardent follower of Swami Vivekananda’s philosophy. The Saint advised him to do something for the country. During this period, VOC/ Chidambaram met the Tamil poet Bharathiyaar who shared his political ideology and thus both had close relationship. VOC was also great admirer of Bal Gangadhar Tilak and considered him mentor in politics.

In 1908, VOC’s political involvement drew attention to the British. He, Subramaniya Siva and Padmanabha Iyengar along with others celebrated the release of freedom fighter from Bengal Bipin Chandra Pal, and then Tirunelveli Collector Wynch called VOC and others asked to give assurances that they would not participate in any political revolt but they refused, so all three were arrested on 12 March 1908.  Their arrests led to widespread protest. In Tirunelveli shops, schools and colleges were closed in protest and riot broke out also the municipal office, post office, police stations and municipal court were attacked, unfortunately four persons were killed by the police. VOC was charged with sedition, and the court sentenced him to two life imprisonments for charges of sedition. An appeal to the Madras High Court reduced the sentence to 6 years in prison and 4 years in transportation both to run concurrently. He was not treated as a political prisoner, nor was it simple imprisonment. V.O.C and Siva had to undergo rigorous imprisonment. V.O.C health suffered a great deal. They were  released in December 1912. During his arrest in March 1908, Sri Aurobindo lauded him in his editorial “Srijut Chidambaram Pillai has shown throughout the Tuticorin affair a loftiness of character, a practical energy united with high moral idealism which shows that he is a true Nationalist. His refusal to accept release on bail if his fellow-workers were left behind is one more count in the reckoning. Nationalism is or ought to be not merely a political creed but a religious aspiration and a moral attitude. Its business is to build up Indian character by educating it to heroic self-sacrifice and magnificent ambitions, to restore the tone of nobility which it has lost and bring back the ideals of the ancient Aryan gentleman. The qualities of courage, frankness, love and justice are the stuff of which a Nationalist should be made. All honour to Chidambaram Pillai for having shown us the first complete example of an Aryan reborn, and all honour to Madras which has produced such a man” (Aravindan Neelakandan, in Swarajya,   5/9/2017)

After his release his law license was taken away and he moved to Chennai then Madras city with his wife and two young sons where he ran a grocery store and a kerosene shop.

VOC was a dynamic and enterprising person which is reflected by his activities as he set up many institutions and some of which are Yuvanesh Prachar Sabha, Dharmasanga Nesavu Salai, National Godown, Madras Agro-Industrial Society Ltd and Desabimana Sangam. He was a great human being also as in 1908, 23 February VOC  supported the workers at Coral Mill (now part of Madura Coats) to protest against their low wages and harsh working conditions.  The workers at the British-owned mill were unfairly treated and 59 percent of the workers were aged 14 – 16.   He was also a prolific writer in Tamil. Some of his works are – Meyyaram, Meyyarivu, Autobiography, commentary on the Thirukkural, compiled works of Tolkappiyam, etc.

In 1920, VOC withdrew from the Indian National Congress, citing ideological differences with Gandhiji and concentrated his activity on establishing labour unions in Madras so that the labourers were not awfully exploited.

For VOC’s great sacrifice in the freedom movement, the Tuticorin Port Trust was named after him and now known as V. O. Chidambaranar Port Trust. It may be mentioned here that   Thoothukudi (Tuticorin) district was formed by reorganising Tirunelveli district in the year 1986.  In his honour and for remembering him, the Indian Posts & Telegraphs Department issued a special postage stamp on 5 September 1972, on the occasion of his birth centenary. VOC/Chidambaram although passed away on 18 November 1936 (aged 64) but he will remain forever in our hearts and memories.

International parents day

Parents-Day-660x330Parents, the name is enough to protect the future, A Mother’s love is something that no one can explain, It is made of deep devotion and of sacrifice and pain, It is endless and unselfish and enduring come what may For nothing can destroy it or take that love away and the father is one of the most unsung, unpraised, unnoticed, and yet one of the most valuable assets in our society. Both play an important role in one’s life, without one person the life of the child is like a rollercoaster, however, a child has to face many problems in society if he or she belongs single-parent family.

Parents are like the backbone of their chield they educate, feed, nourish, and give many other facilities regarding the fortune life, sometimes parents sacrifice their own beautiful dream. since the birth parents take care of their child as a piece of heart, they never let their child cry. When the child grows up in parallel the demand also grows up, but parents take care of the demand, they share gifts and happiness with the child, so the child never upset and be happy, furthermore, patents never forget to celebrate the birthday of a child, on that way they try to show how much they love their baby.

But, here comes the truth, when the child grows in teenage and young age they never respect their parents, when they meet new people they try to know more things from them instead of learning from their parents. they forget the moral values which were thought by there parents and they continue to disrespect them. In, India around 40% of people do not love to stay with their parents that’s why they leave home and stay away from their parents, whenever parents need any help form their child they never present at the same place. Additionally, many videos and posts on youtube and other social media handle where young children beat heir parents, which is the same full for us to see, but never react. According to the last researchers of the old age home, the ratio is very high in the year 2015-2016 around 8.5 % of the total population old people live in old age homes. because of young children.

However, from 2020, we all young people take an oath to live with parents and family and never leave the family never forget the Favour which we get from parents at an early age. parents can sacrifice their dream but why not us, never forget to take care of parents at the old age because they do not have any other source of help. Never forget the birthday of parents and international parents’ day because it is the only way to rejuvenate life.

the next parents’ day on 26 July 2020.

here some golden words for parents,

behind every child who believes in himself is a parent who believes him first.

parents’ love is whole no matter how many times divided.

Thank you to give your time to read my article.

The War

After all, what is happiness? Love, they tell me. But love doesn’t bring and never has brought happiness. On the contrary, it’s a constant state of anxiety, a battlefield; it’s sleepless nights, asking ourselves all the time if we’re doing the right thing. Real love is composed of ecstasy and agony.

So Hello readers ,

I often reiterate the same thing that it’s a matter of proud to be born as a human on this earth. And of course, it is!. After all the almighty has given us a chance to explore this beautiful world.

I was born in the city of Hyderabad , also known as the pearl city. The fresh air of Hyderabad has many lessons to teach you. Not diving deep into the beguiling aura of Hyderabad, I would like to bring your focus on the life of this teen girl which is me.

I was running on the track today. My heart was pounding, I could barely breathe. I knew that when people looked at me they could see my flushed cheeks, that bright hot red. I allowed myself to go in continuous circles anyways. It’s familiar. It reminds me of high school days, and the daily hyperventilating before stepping out my door and into the morning air, counting my breaths. It reminds me of many bad things, none of which compare to the freedom of running like I did today.

But today I’m running alone, which itself is a sign of victory . A while ago this simple act was found in my day dreams , today it is the ultimate freedom: battling barriers, proving others wrong and most importantly proving to myself that I can enjoy the simplest parts of life that so many others get to enjoy on a daily basis.

Life is a timelessly unshakable victory of marvelously majestic honesty / over the horrendously squelched web of disconcertingly malicious deceit

. ……Nikhil parekh

Life was always a roller coaster for me, but now I realise that ,the victory is in realising this mere fact.

From cursing my life to living my life to its fullest, a journey that took me 18 years. My body was a cage, that was kept tightly locked by my mind.

The life of a girl is full of challenges from the very beginning not just because of the physical pains she has to suffer in the course of her life but also because of the pressure and restrictions society puts on her freedom. Without girls, this universe will end. They are the procreators and nurturers of a new life in this world. Still, in many societies like in our Indian society, the birth of a girl is often not celebrated the way the birth of a boy is celebrated. Even if there are parents who give all their love to their girls giving them the best of everything they can, still because of the attitude of the society towards them they have to suffer a lot. I only wish to change this attitude of society towards the girls letting them stretch their wings and fly high! But I was lucky enough to get parents who loved me like a princess, they were a little conservative but they were always with me. They did a lot for me, but there conservative minds never realised the pain what I was going through.

Indian parents are always taught to care deeply about what other people think of us, and as a result, we tend to focus only on sharing the good and keep the bad hidden away. This attitude can make it very difficult for us to talk about the realities of being an Indian woman and daughter — experiences with oppressive parenting, violence, abuse, mental health issues, addiction, and more. We talk a lot about the good stuff (and we should!), but when it comes to the tough stuff, we just don’t.

Another reason we may not speak the truth to power of being an India daughter is the fear of upcoming biases. Many of us are committed to fulfilling our parents’ expectations because as children, we received conditional forms of love. When we did what our parents wanted us to do, we were celebrated and received their acceptance. But when we didn’t listen to them and didn’t do what they wanted, we were reprimanded and criticized, and love was taken away. Often, these patterns continue into adulthood — and it feels awful.

This importantly, stopped me from cultivating self love and instead it made me stick in a place of woundedness and in my life I couldn’t conduct to anyone, it prevented me from attracting the best love into my life. This slowly hallowened my soul. Cheats, betrayals were an added spice. Things became pretty difficult now. Some days were as simple as canceling plans with friends, other days meant crying between classes and throwing up for hours before an exam. Many days felt wasted, because I confined myself to my bed, paralyzed by fear. For a while I tried convincing myself I was the same as everyone else, or just overly sensitive. When people said they had anxiety I was sure it was just an expression. As I got older I developed ways to deal with myself , such as making color coded lists for hours on end or spending my nights writing down everything I needed to do to be “perfect”. But it didn’t work. Before I knew it I was unable to make phone calls without a panic attack, and eventually… unable to love anyone new in my life. I was unable to love. It got to a point where I considered suicide, a personal moment for me that I will never be able to forget.

This ink, kept running out of my pen. This paper of my life was stained, tears kept running free, after all I was stuck in a daze. And this is when I picked up my pen to the paper, to write the words, my voice couldnt deliver.
My heart was heavy , with pain and despair.
I couldn’t breathe , I was fighting for air.
My mind is spinning, at the speed of light.
This pain in my life clouded my mind.
The thoughts seemed deafening
But after all it is a Heartache,
I hoped I’ll be okay.

I realised that life was a scripted film, racing for an oscar win. Darkness seemed brighter and solace seemed ephemeral. My soul was drowning with weight and loved faces frowned with hate. Burdened was my back , with the pain in my track. Nothing remained permanent except my black sober eyes.

Noone could hear my silent screams?
They are so loud they echoed in my dreams.Behind this face that carries a smile. There was a dark road that goes on mile after mile.My silent screams have been going on for years,
But it always falls on so many deaf ears. What can I tell everyone? These silent screams carry no words.
It’s just feelings of sadness and darkness that come in its herds. How can I explain so people understand this?
It’s like walking around in a suffocating black mist.

Noone helped no one helps. The dark road of my life started filling with happiness when I started loving myself . When you love yourself more then things simply become lighter and easier.
You won’t overthink and make as many mountains out of molehills (or out of plain air) as you used to. Or beat yourself up or drag yourself down over mistakes or temporary setbacks. I have become so emotionally strong that noone can break me up.

It’s not uncommon for someone with an anxiety disorder to also suffer from depression or vice versa. Nearly one-half of those diagnosed with depression are also diagnosed with an anxiety disorder.Everyone experiences pain at some point, but for those with depression or anxiety, pain can become particularly intense and hard to treat. People suffering from depression, for example, tend to experience more severe and long-lasting pain than other people.

With a little hope in my heart ,I hope no kid dies out of this anxiety pain. Guys open up to people, speak it out, or else it is going to hallucinate you for the rest of your life. Keep loving and spreading #happiness

A person can live without food for 4 weeks, without water for 4 days, without air for 4 minutes but without hope ,a person can’t even survive for 4 seconds.

So find the hope of your life as hope is to our spirits is what oxygen is to our lungs. Be the reason someone smiles. Be the reason someone feels loved and believes in the goodness of people

The Love at last

It may be possible to gild pure gold, but who can make his mother beautiful? !

Hello readers,

I’m sure all of you have a superhero In your life, isn’t it? I’m sure they must be enough fierce to fight against the world. My mother is an ordinary woman but she is my superhero. In every step of my, she supported and encouraged me. Whether day or night she was always there for me no matter what the condition is. Furthermore, her every work, persistence, devotion, dedication, conduct is an inspiration for me.

Mother’s love for a child is something that never ends and never dies.
mothers are always hard working, caring and full love and respect.

Sometimes I know the words to say to give thanks for all you’ve done, but then they fly up and away as quickly as they come. How could I possibly thank you enough, the one who makes me whole,
the one to whom I owe my life, the forming of my soul? The one who tucked me in at night, the one who stopped my crying, the one who was the expert at picking up when I was lying. The one who saw me off to school and spent sad days alone,
yet magically produced a smile as soon as I came home. The one who makes such sacrifices to always put me first,
who lets me test my broken wings, in spite of how it hurts.Who paints the world a rainbow when it’s filled with broken dreams,
who explains it all so clearly when nothing is what it seems.

The nine months of unbearable displeasure,
Were all of a sudden worth when we saw each other for the first time.
The feeling of being in your arms at last,
Was the joyous emotion which will never dare to pass.
From the moment
I came into this world,
you gave to me
your heart and soul.
You gave up all the time
you had for yourself
just to show me
how much I mean to you.
Every day and every night
you give to me all your love.
You run to me
when I call your name.
I wish there was more
For you I could do,
But all I can say
Is how much I love you.
It is deeper than the oceans,
Higher than the sun.
I could shout it forever
And still it wouldnt be done.
You hug me, You spank me
You bear all my tantrums and insolence
But you still come to me when I need a shoulder to cry on
I know you Sometimes lose your mind over the protesting, angsty screams.
Still the love in your heart makes it burst at the seams.
The roads of my life had to bloomen
So you came in like a good omen.
Mommy, I love you
More than you see.
You have always been there
When I needed you to be.
I know I don’t show
How great my love is,
But I need you to know
All the love of you I have to give.
From the first shine of light
To the first breath of my life,
You have been there from day to night
From tucking me in
To kissing my forehead goodnight,
You have been my heroine.
Dear Mom, you have provided me with pure light.
From giving each other the silent treatment
To talking and hugging it out,
You never fail to give the best advice.
Dear Mom, our relationship will never disrupt.
You are my person.
You are the greatest gift in my life.
Thank you for everything that you do.
Dear Mom, I love you always and forever.

I know I have never told you this, but I love you very much. You are the only person in this world who loved me with all your heart. Your love for me never changed; in fact, it doubled when I needed it the most. I wonder how you could be so selfless; you woke up every day at 5 in the morning to help us. You never complained about the fuss I used to make at the breakfast table. I was naive back then to understand your sacrifices. Thank you for your relentless efforts in making us eat healthily and keeping our family together. In this ever-changing world, your love is the only constant thing I have.

PDS system or DBT system:

PDS(Public distribution system) is India’s flagship food security programme which sells subsidised food grains, including wheat, rice and sugar, and kerosene through fair price shops in states and union territories. DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) is a scheme launched by Government of India to transfer the benefits and subsidies of various social welfare schemes directly in the bank account of the beneficiary. Both PDS system and DBT has benefits and suffers from some deficiencies. Now lets us see the merits and demerits of both the systems.

Merits of PDS:

  1. PDS provides food grains in a subsidized rate so this acts as a safeguard for beneficiaries against inflation and price fluctuation. In normal course the people will be forced to consume less of food and other items during inflationary situation affecting the productivity and efficiency of the household sector. The PDS system acts as a safeguard against such price fluctuations providing a cushion against decline in consumption.
  2. The farmers have the advantage of an assured demand for their produce since the government is procuring these produce for public distribution. Thus there is an assured market for the farmers produce.
  3. Under this mechanism there is an assured employment for workers, provides for the procurement of services by way of transporting the produce from procurement area to the point of distribution, and creating the necessary infrastructure in the form of the storage facilities, marketing centers and other associated services. This system is envisaged as a well fare system unlike a commercial attempt which is based on profit.

Demerits of PDS:

  1. The materials supplied under PDS are generally substandard and sometimes even not fit for human consumption.
  2. Materials supplied are under weighted and thus the consumers are cheated by providing reduced quantity of rice, sugar, wheat etc.
  3. The system involves large scale wastage of materials because of improper storage facilities. Lack of sheltered storage facilities leads to wastage of grains due to rain and other climatic conditions, rodents play a predominant role in the loss of grains, grains are infected by insects like cockroaches.
  4. Corruption in the procurement centers where factors like weight, the moisture content etc are conveniently ignored. This system happens to be unwieldy requiring a vast administrative work involving heavy expenditure to the Government and thus inherently an inefficient mechanism.
  5. Consumers have no choice in the purchase of food grains and other materials from PDS. They have to buy what is provided by the government.

Merits of DBT:

  1. Food grains provided in PDS are of low quality and only few food products are available in PDS shops. By direct cash transfer method beneficiaries can buy the food products of their choice in open market.
  2. PDS spends most of its revenues in holding and maintain the food grains; by adopting DBT system government can reduce the administrative cost.
  3. DBT will encourage more people to open bank accounts there by making proper monetary transaction without pilferage.
  4. Government can also make target specific approach under DBT.

Demerits of DBT:

  1. There is a chance that beneficiaries spend their money in unproductive way by way of gambling, drinking and other harmful ways, depriving the family members of their necessities and comforts. The general tendency of poor and uneducated is spending their income in irresponsible way affecting the general welfare of the family which is the co-principle of this system.
  2. India has a very weak banking infrastructure in rural areas. Not every rural household will have bank branches within 5km radius, so beneficiaries will face difficulty in accessing their cash benefits.
  3. Regular and assured marketing of their produce to the government agencies will become absent.

Way forward:

Government can introduce bar-coded ration cards for beneficiaries like done in Gujarat this will reduce duplicate ration cards.

Periodic checking in procurement points and selling points should be done to reduce corruption and leakages.

Government may establish more banking infrastructure facilities for rural people to inculcate banking habits to the rural household.

How To Permanently Stop Overthinking, Even If You’ve Tried Everything!

What’s holding you back from living a life you love?

Is that Overthinking?

You don’t know how to stop Overthinking. You think too much about every small problem until it become bigger and scarier than it is in actual. Thinking about things and situations is quite good but getting lost in thinking can actually kill your happiness. I know how it feels, I used to overthink a lot and it held me back in ways that were destructive. When you keep thinking and thinking about something you just need to ask yourself one thing: will it matter in next five years? Is it that important for me to think so much that I lose my happiness that I can enjoy now? Thinking about things 50 or 100 times won’t make a difference.

If I can quit Overthinking without any help from anyone so can you. Just you need to follow simple steps:

– Let go of past.

– Live in the moment.

– Control your emotions.

Focus on solution rather than crying over problem.

Do whatever you like just to distract yourself into happiness.

– Meditate

– Be with positive people.

– Stop waiting for perfection

– Be grateful

– Stop crying over things

Remember you are only one who can help you to get out of trouble. If you don’t want a change, no one can help you.

Coronavirus or Covid-19

What is coronavirus? Coronavirus disease is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus, according to the world health organisation(WHO). The first case of coronavirus was discovered in November in the Wuhan city of China. Wuhan city is the central city of China. The first registered case of covid-19 in India was on 30th January 2020. As of 1st june 2020, the Ministry of Health and family welfare have confirmed a total of 190,535 cases, 91,819 recoveries(including 1 migration) and 5,394 deaths in India. India currently has the largest number of confirmed cases in Asia with number of confirmed cases breaching the 100,000 mark on 19th may,2020. According to the hindustan times, total number of covid-19 cases in the world are 6,200,204(confirmed cases), 3,066,570(active cases), 2,761,887(recovered), 371,747(deceased). 80% cases of covid-19 are from Europe and the United States. In terms of the number of confirmed coronavirus cases, the US, Brazil, Russia, Spain, and UK are the five most-affected countries.

What are the symptoms of coronavirus? Fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headaches, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. How to avoid Covid-19? Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water, maintain at least 1 metre(3 feet) distance between yourself and others, avoid going to crowded places, avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth, make sure you, and the people around you, follow good respiratory hygiene, stay home and self-isolated even with minor symptoms such as cough, headache, mild fever, until you recover, if you have a fever, cough, and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention, and lastly keep up to date on the latest information from trusted sources, such as WHO or your local and national health authorities.

To overcome this world pandemic, all the people in the world have to come together and fight with the virus together. All the people in the world should follow the instructions given by their respective government and should support the doctor’s, police, nurses, etc. for doing such a commendable job.

At last I only want to quote a famous saying by Mr. Shah Rukh Khan-“alone we fall, united we stand”

PM NARENDRA MODI MANN KI BAAT(31/5/2020)

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Sunday through his Mann Ki Baat where he said that it’s going to be a long way in the fight against the coronavirus. He began with saying that the means of transport were suspended the last time he addressed. This time many areas are in operation along with Shramik Special trains, airflights, miniature industries which has lead to the gradual rise in the economy. Still no leniency has to given while following the protective measures.

With mutual contribution, we are able to fight against corona. If we compare with other countries, we’ve accomplished a lot. Inspite of having more challenges, we are able to fight corona better than other countries. We feel sorrow over the losses caused but we are successful in saving a lot due to the united power of the countrymen. Every individual is contributing to its best. This whole cause is people driven. The most important feature of the people which lead to moving ahead is ‘Seva Shakti’ or the power to help. In reality, in this pandemic we have shown that ‘SERVICE’ and ‘SACRIFICE’ are not only our ideals but also our ways of life. It is said that, ‘Seva Parmo dharma’ which means that there is pleasure and satisfaction in service. We have witnessed that one who is involved in service activities is free from depression and stress. Servicing others leads to Confidence and Positivity.

Our doctors, nurses, cleaners, workers, and media body are contributing their limitless efforts towards the pandemic. He quoted example of Mr. C Mohan of Tamil Nadu who runs a saloon in Madurai. He donated his 5 lacs of money for service which he has saved for his daughter’s education. Similarly, in Agartala, Gautam Das, a cart-puller, gave his savings to the needy by providing food. In Punjab, a differently-abled person, donated his amount to make masks. Mr. Narendra Modi appreciates such people. In this pandemic, people are innovating in the labs and small startups. Nasik’s Rajendra Yadav, a farmer has created a sanitizing machine using his tractor. Innovations are also seen in the field of education. The strong will power of the people is leading such innovations. This pandemic is long, we are inexperienced facing new challenges and problems. Yet the most affected are poor sections of the society. We can share their pain. The whole India is making efforts. Railway employees are also corona warriors as they strive hard to send the people to their locations.

This situation is also an opportunity to learn. The countrymen are making efforts to develop the eastern India. The Central Government is taking steps to look after the job opportunities in the villages. If the villages and small districts would have been self-dependent, then these problems would have been minimised. He quoted, ‘It’s human behaviour to move from darkness to light’. He is happy to see that being self-dependent is taken as a challenge. ‘Vocal for local’ is also being adopted widely. ‘Make in India’ should grow by individual efforts. We must minimise the use of outside commodity. In this pandemic, he has also talked to various foreign ministers. He got to know that they are also giving priority to ‘Yoga and Ayurveda’. In India too, people are getting themselves involved in doing yoga at home and learning about ayurveda. Yoga community, immunity and unity are beneficial for all. Yoga is important as corona affects the respiratory system. Ministry of AYUSH has started ‘MyLifeMyYoga’ which is a video blog competition where people can participate by posting a 3 minutes video of performing yoga asanas and sharing their experiences.

The fear of falling sick is the nightmare of the poor people. ‘Ayushman Bharat Yojana’ which started 1.5 yrs ago, has treated more than 1 crore people for free. If poor people would have spent money in their treatment then they would have been in loss. Portability has bound the country together. Any person of Bihar can avail the treatment in Karnataka too. Among the 1 crore people, 80 percent of them are the villagers. Some even had critical diseases and 70 percent underwent surgeries. He said that we must talk to the people being treated by Ayushman. People after treatment have become optimistic and motivated to fight the challenges of life. He has also appreciated the honest tax payers of the country.

He kept on mentioning about the super cyclone which has hit West Bengal and Orissa. Homes are destroyed. He even visited the place. India stands with them. The current locust attack reminds us that small creatures are also capable enough to destroy. People are innovating to fight against such critical situations. On 5th June, World Environment Day will be celebrated and the theme is Biodiversity. This theme is especially important in the present scenario. Since the last weeks, we have slowed down, but this has given us an opportunity to understand the rich biodiversity around us. People are able to hear chirps of many birds who were once considered lost in noise and pollution. We are getting news of animals walking freely. People are sharing photos that they can see mountains and wonder that whether they would continue to see such beauties of nature or not.

He concluded by saying that we can draw inspiration to coexist with nature by creating balance. We must conserve water through simple processes. We can save water in this rainy season. At individual level, we can take initiatives to plant trees and hence save nature. After such hardwork, we must keep fighting and don’t become negligent. It’s our duty to save every ones life. Take all the necessary precautions. At last he said that he would be meeting next month through ‘MANN KI BAAT’.
