Global Citizen Live 2021

Global Citizen Live is a charity concert organized by the Global Citizen Organization founded in 2008. It hosts an annual music festival, one of the main objectives of the event is to raise awareness of global poverty and climate change.

Broadcasting from sites on six continents, including New York’s Central Park and in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Global Citizen also secured pledges from France for 60 million COVID-19 vaccine doses for developing countries and corporate pledges for planting 157 million trees around the world.

This year’s festival held across six continents, was the largest, part of global citizen’s 2021 Recovery Plan For The World Program. Added to the festival mission was an aim to help bring an end to the COVID-19 pandemic. The main focus was on equity.


Artists and politicians alike from around the world had converged for the cause of the festival. International artists like Shawn and Camilla Mendes, Ed Sheeran, Doja Cat, Billie Eilish, BTS, Metallika, Coldplay, Lizzo, One Republic, Jennifer Lopez, Paul Simon, Demi Lovato, H.E.R., among many others.

Personalities from India included Priyanka Chopra as the host. Others like Amitabh Bacchan, Anil Kapoor, Amit Trivedi, Farhan Akhtar, Badshah, Tanishk Bagchi, Ayushmann Khuranna, Dia Mirza, Hritik Roshan, Sonakshi Sinha also played their considerable part in the event.

Vaccine pledges, which also came from the governments of Croatia and Ireland, followed numerous pleas, including from Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, onstage at Central Park on Saturday afternoon.

“This year, the world is expected to produce enough doses to meet the target of vaccinating 70per cent of people in every single country,” Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, said to cheers from the Central Park crowd. “But it is wrong that so much of the vaccine supply has only gone to just 10 wealthy nations so far, and not everyone else.”

We are living in a world where physical fitness had become more important without caring for one’s mental health.

In the race of achieving everything, we have forgotten to look after our well being and to feed our brain with good thoughts. Being mentally stable is what is required to have a peace of mind and it contributes towards satisfaction of oneself.

The COVID-19 had too negatively affected the lives of many people and created new barriers. Many people are suffering from many mental issues during this pandemic period.

There lies a difference in being sad and being depressed;

Sadness is for a particular instance that happened due to some ill happening or due to mood changes but depression is a long term phenomenon, overthinking and negative perspective towards everything could be the major causes. Depression could often lead to suicidal thoughts which could grow intense during the time. Depression can cause tiredness and deprival in day to day task performed.

Here are some steps that we all can follow to feel better and lively every passing day :

  1. Take time out for yourself no matter how small, talk to yourself about the happenings of the day.
  2. Get up early in the morning and practice some yoga and meditation  to make your mind still and calm.
  3. Do not disturb your sleeping cycle and try to drink hot milk before sleeping.
  4. Think of one good thing that happened in the day and show some interest in nature.
  5. Talk to people around you maybe they are friends,family or relatives just share what you feel inside.
  6. Eat healthy try to have a balanced diet.
  7. Avoid much use of social media platforms which make you feel toxic from inside.
  8. Spend time with your family maybe watching a movie together or just by sitting together having lunch.
  9. Try to ignore unnecessary things which make you feel sad.
  10. Watch motivational videos and movies to help you keep going.

It is alright to speak about your emotions to anyone. No one in this world is completely free from stress and anxiety. Everyone have certain issues of their own. It is better to think that you are not the only person surviving everyone does it help you to have a positive outlook towards life,

If still, you face problems do not hesitate to visit a doctor and have a regular checkup.

Always remember the most important person is you take care of yourself in every way possible . life is just a game and you are fighting for survival. losing is easy but winning takes real courage.

Don’t let the desire of a successful future destroy your present

This four lettered word “LIFE” is the synonym of living and nothing else, don’t waste it about thinking over the things which have either happened in the past or more likely have not even happened yet, this is a constantly changing world, everything is temporary in this world even you and me, we are perishable, then what are you doing why are you wasting your life over thinking of the things which are just confined within your mind doors, they are not reality they just exist within in your mind most of the problems you have in your life have originated from overthinking, be in now and enjoy this moment, live this moment because this moment is life, don’t take it too seriously, don’t put too much pressure on your mind, don’t let the desire of a successful future destroy your present, if you think that a sad present can give you a beautiful life then you’re wrong because life is now and if you can’t make yourself happy being in this moment then how can you expect it from yourself that attaining a certain goals will make you happy? If something doesn’t satisfy you today then how can you think that it will give you a beautiful and peaceful life, most of the people destroy their life either thinking about their past or caring about their uncertain future, we human being have only 5 senses, we can never analyse what’s going to happen in the future the only thing which is in our hand is to take actions but we can never predict the result of our actions and most of times the way we perceive our future is not exactly how it turns out to be, now the current scenario of world is a good example of the uncertainty of life, no one knew that this would happened in the beginning of 2020 all of us had a tons and tons of plans for our new year but our plans got failed they turned out to be something called “LOCK DOWN” we are at our home today, probably many of us had a lot of plans and wishes with our family, or friends but today it’s not safe to step out of our homes unnecessarily, this is life man, this is the reality and nothing can change the fact no matter how many plans you make, no matter how much time you waste in figuring out your life, at the end you will have even more questions than before. So live your life instead of worrying.

You are here not to live average

I thought of doing hardwork but I don’t untill it’s required. I know that work will done before it had to be done. But if we work to gain something then it’s worth. Completing the work at the last moment for the ske of finishing it doesn’t make it done. We shoukd self analyse the things that are going to be done and introspect us while doing. Intrest isn’t something that comes suddenly. It is something that gets builded over a period of time. Doing a thing repeatedly creates Intrest once we feel intrested.

Don’t work to work. Work for something big. Dream big, think big and do big. Small things are done anyways by anyone. Focus more to become big. Push yourself atleast a bit. Have a good time to live. The only thing that you can’t control is your life because we can die whenever since it’s in our hands. Let your life be lived the way you feel. Have a nice life because it’s you who can make it happen. Thinking big isn’t bad but doing it requires something more than that. Thinking is easy because it just happens the moment you think. Making it happen is something you should think.

Achieve your aim, believe in becoming, care your curiosity, dare to be in danger, enlight the enthusiasm, forget the fear, goal to gain, hope to have, Impress your inside, add Joy to your journey and be the king of your kingdom. I thought of completing all the necessities of the adjectives of our personalities over there, but in order to make you think I am letting you think the rest and hope you start your thinking and stop it by finishing the task.

Everyone will have a goal because it’s easy to have it. But few will achieve it because it’s hard to reach there. To be someone from everyone, you have to do something that everybody will not do. Have a spirit to gain atleast something that you wished. Have guts to get what you felt. Be brave enough to face it because you are here to live only once. Don’t be shy to feel shy. Believe in yourself and behave accordingly. You are no one’s puppet. You can choose your life, but before that have a clarity. Choosing is easy but choosing correct option isn’t that easy. Life is full of choices and it’s easy to be wrong. But leading a life to realise that thing is waste of life. Don’t search for the life. Live the life that you search in your dreams. You are not here to fetch your dollars to your future kids. They can earn their money. You are here to spend your money on you. You is more important than we. Atlast it’s you who will be you and remain with you.

Don’t lead a good life when you have a chance to live best. Do what all you could and don’t make your dream to be the dream if your kids. Your dream should make them dream about their dream. Have a great relaity and live the fullest life. Let us celebrate the life.

Dieing Yesterday …

Isn’t it my creator’s job to make me intelligent, beautiful and someone fit for living? It’s his fault that he made me with stupidity, and not mine! Once I cursed my creator for being wrong, and now I’m praising my destroyer for being the same! Oh, wait! Whom should I blame now? Is this my creator’s fault that he tattooed a wrong date in my hands? Or my destroyer who forgot this silly being? Uff! Life’s like that!

High tides and beautiful sea shores..
I was gazing at the tattoo which says I have to die now.
Screaming aloud, wait this is the moment i started to live..
Alarm clock raising the voice stupid wake up its just a dream..

Life moves faster than we expect, soon year 1 changes to year 10, and our face starts to look more mature as we dive further down in life. We bond with so many people yet we stay in touch with the only few. Once we grow old, we travel back in time using memories as time machine, and relive the moments which were heaven to us , and sometimes the one which were not. Life gets easier as we go into our old age, we get wiser and know what life was meant to be. Soon enough the time comes, we close our eyes for the last time as the soul take its goodbye leaving behind a cold body with a smile on its face.

What will you do if you knew that you gonna die tomorrow. What do you do today which becomes a yesterday on tomorrow.

Abundant amount of clothes and footwear,
But always choose to wear limited.
Rest, are static characters to fill the void.
Plenty of emotions stifle inside,
But always choose to wear the mask of isolation.
Various ways to go home,
But always choose the same path.
Diverted from the society,
Focused in self manufactured rigid world.
One is not dead,
One is experiencing death every day.
