Breaking News: UP gangster Vikas Dubey arrested from Mahakal temple in Ujjain, Madhya pradesh.

Uttar Pradesh gangster Vikas Dubey, accused of killing eight policemen last week, was arrested from a temple in Madhya Pradesh after a nearly week-long chase involving the police across three states. Vikas Dubey was caught in Ujjain around the same time two of his aides were killed in separate encounters in UP. His closest aide, Aman Dubey, was killed yesterday.

Bihar police congratulated MP police for arresting Vikas Dubey.

Vikas Dubey was spotted at Mahakal temple around 8 am, according to the police. He was buying prayer offerings to take inside the temple when the shopkeeper recognized him and reportedly alerted security guards. When he emerged from the temple, the guards questioned him.

He first produced a fake ID card of a much younger man. When prodded further, he hit out at the guards, who dragged him to the police station.

Main Vikas Dubey hoon, Kanpur wala,” he shouted out, when he was beaten while being taken to the police van.

“It is a big success for the police, Vikas Dubey is a cruel killer. The entire Madhya Pradesh police force was on alert. He has been arrested from Ujjain Mahakal temple. We have informed Uttar Pradesh Police,” said Narottam Mishra, Madhya Pradesh Minister.

Dubey – charged in 60 criminal cases including murder, kidnapping, extortion and rioting – had allegedly been alerted to the raid by local policemen and had set up an ambush. When the policemen reached the village, Dubey and his men, armed with AK-47s, fired from rooftops.

UP police is informed about the arrest. However many say that it was planned surrender by Vikas Dubey who allegedly went to temple and made people see him. It is very positive for the state though.

Covid-19 vaccine can be expected by end of 2020:Serum Institute of India.

Chief Executive Officer of the Pune-based Serum Institute Of India (SII) Adar Poonawalla on Monday said the company is expecting the vaccine for COVID-19 to be ready by the year-end.

The Institute has partnered with British-Swedish drugmaker AstraZeneca to manufacture and supply the vaccine being developed by the University of Oxford under which the SII will supply over a billion doses of vaccine in India, and to other developing and under-developed countries.

However, the approval for the vaccine from the Drug Controller General of India is still awaited.

The institute is expecting to get approval in next six months. The Oxford COVID-19 vaccine trial is currently in its Phase 3 or human trial stage, and will be administered to around 8,000 people in the U.K.

chief executive Poonawalla said while referring to another vaccine candidate from India ie Covaxin of Bharat Biotech, that the company is in no hurry to produce vaccine without proper actions and tests for safety and efficacy.Once they are confident about vaccine, they would launch the vaccine but that would be still 6 months away.

However Bharat Biotech is also confident about its candidate vaccine named Covaxin and has started phase-1 human trials enrolling about 375 patients for test. It is very unlikely that Corona vaccine to be out for masses before or on 15 August, despite the letter of ICMR since human trials may take up to 6-8 months to complete even after conducting only important tests and checks.

It is very positive for the country that we are seeing candidates for vaccine which are in human trials. The vaccine developed in country will be great opportunity for Indian institutes to once again lead the world in pandemic situation.

Accordin to information provided by Pune based ICMR institution, National Institute of Virology and Hyderabad based CSIR institution Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology, six Indian companies are working on probable vaccine candidate for Coronavirus.

COVID19 vaccine can be developed by 2021, says WHO scientist! The chief scientist at the World Health Organization (WHO) Soumya Swaminathan has said that at least one COVID19 vaccine will be ready by 2021. Swaminathan said that we can be hopeful of seeing one “safe and efficacious” COVID-19 vaccine by the next year. Big loss to China:Chinese apps to lose around USD 6 billion after ban in India.

Chinese  tech giant unicorn ByteDance Ltd. is anticipating a huge loss of over USD 6 billion after ban on its 3 apps including hugely popular video making TIK TOK app in India. The decision was taken by indian government in wake of  unfortunate clash in Galwan valley in Ladakh between Indian and Chinese soldiers which led to death of 20 Indian brave soldiers and more number of casualties in Chinese camps.

Besides TikTok , India on last Monday banned 58 more Chinese apps including Club Factory, UC Browser and Share it apps for engaging in activities prejudicial to sovereignty  and integrity of India, defence of India, security of India and public order.

India was the biggest market in terms of users . Of the total 611 million  downloads nearly 112 million are from India which is considerably huge. This ban has however sent image to Chinese government that India would never compromise its privacy, sovereignty and integrity.

The Chinese government has been angry over the decision and want us to take back the decision. However the ban period is not clear and the banned apps are claiming that they have not revealed any information to foreign countries even China.

A top official said the government had considered all aspects before taking the decision. “These apps have been there for a long time, and there are some privacy and security issues with them including risks of data going out of the country,” said the person.

The statement from the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) said it had received complaints from various sources, including several reports about the misuse of some mobile apps for stealing and surreptitiously transmitting users’ data in an unauthorised manner to servers outside India.

The ban would surely help in bringing Indian alternatives for the Chinese apps and reduce the dominance of Chinese products in Indian market.

Dual Economy in Newspapers.

With the term \’Dual Economy\’ we can guess that it may deals with the finance or marketing related aspects especially what the word economy signifies. Since we are from the generation of e-papers and refers various websites to get updates of every single minutes about our surroundings and abroad anywhere across the globe. Beyond this if we look at the habit of reading newspapers regularly then even now we can find every morning the traditional system with which a true reader starts his/her day i.e.the paper boy with the bunches of papers knocked down the door and it has a seperate base of happiness for the actual readers to see & collect the newspaper first from the garden or balcony.

Apart from these light nostalgic talkies about newspapers let\’s come to fact what dual economy implies when it comes to newspapers. Basically newspaper, nowadays is considered a parameter of public attitudes, a consideration of importance in accessing social change-
was only a source of communication in the earlier days. The pre-independent Indian papers use to impart the zeal of nationality and the message of those contemporary national leaders but after independence the newspaper organizations have been transformed into an industry and became a machinery for making profit.

When a newspaper have to invest a huge amount of money, they must have several plans to earn the revenue and get maximum return.
Newspapers earn revenue mainly in two ways-
1.From circulation- By selling the publication.
2.From advertisement- By selling the ad space in the publication. These two are the broad categories of revenue earnings for a newspaper.

In the business concerning part of ewspapers, the price charged from a paper is less than the cost of its production. This clearly signifies the fact that whatever the profit a newspaper industry earns, do not depend on the price at which it solds the paper; greater the number of copies sold, the more is the loss. To cover-up this loss sufficient advertisement must be gathered.
Thus, increase in the circulation will only increase a newspaper\’s dependence on advertisements. Hence every owner and editor has to understand strategies to make a good sell of newspapers and this is possible mainly with a good editorial page , which determines the popularity of a paper & depicts a good journalism. At the same time it is also very true indeed that without adequate advertisements, a newspaper cannot survive. So, a good balance has to be maintained between the circulations & advertisements as well to maintain the equilibrium of dual economy.

Yoga: understanding fundamentals

Yoga is a group of spiritual, mental and physical practices originated in ancient India. the modern yoga is seen as exercise to the body which mainly consists of postures or asanas. The practice of yoga has been thought to date back to pre-vedic Indian traditions; possibly in the Indus valley civilization around 3000 BCE. Yoga is mentioned in the Rigveda and also referenced in the Upanishads. Yoga gurus from India later introduced yoga to the West,[17] following the success of Swami Vivekananda in the late 19th and early 20th century with his adaptation of yoga tradition, excluding asanas. The Importance of Public Relations Department .

Add caption

Before come to know about the importance of Public Relations department, we must know what does it actually means and how it works in every different sectors.

So now in order to understand from where it all had started, we should give a glance to the history , specifically that significant part which deals with the representation of ethical development i.e. none other than the four models given by James Grunig.
The models from basic to sophisticated include the sequence –
1.Press agentry/ Publicity
2.Public information
3.Two-way asymmetrical communication
4.Two-way symmetrical communication

Each model represents a specific ethical orientation that when considered collectively illustrates the ethical development of public relations. We can discuss about all these four models in brief just to get an idea about its further implications in broader aspects.
  • Press agentry model- it deals with the first and foremost task to grab attention for the specific organization in order to do its publicity.
  • Public information model- uses various media relations techniques to accommodate public relations information into different news stories.
  • Two-asymmetrical model- it advocates two-way communication which must be persuasive.
  • Two-way symmetrical model- this helps not only to create but also sustains mutually beneficial relationships between the organization and its customers or stakeholders.

So basically from then to now the importance of Public Relations department has varied enormously , earlier people weren\’t well informed about the role of Public Relation Officers but now the emerging young minds of this generation are even looking for their bright upcoming future depending on this department, going to study vivid courses for further understanding about the work procedures and concerning strategies in this field on a broader aspect. Moreover there are many PR (Public Relation) agencies means those small business organizations or where there are no in-house PR departments engage the services of outside firm/agency to handle relations. Thus PR firm/agency/consultancy is an independent specialized business organization involved in the practice of public relations to counsel the client\’s organization on communication and relationships management besides executing public relations programmes.

This department has professionals having extraordinary grasp in creativity and communication in order to handle the clients public relations activities.

Important PR agencies in India which handle Indian and multinational clients include- \’Genesis Public Relations\’ in New Delhi (BBC World, National Geographic are its clients), \’Good Relations\’, a corporate office which is located in Mumbai with its branches in New Delhi, Chennai,Bengaluru, Kolkata and the know channel Ten sports is one of its clients.
So this department deals with services like branding, crisis communication, corporate communications, maintain community relations and government relations as well, does marketing communications which involves promotion of products and services through such tools such as news releases, feature stories, brochures, media tours etc.
Public Relations department does mandatory research and evaluation i.e. scientific surveys are conducted to measure public perceptions then it arranges news conferences , anniversary celebrations , rallies and national conferences on behalf of the clients.
Not only the management is counselled on ways to achieve official and public support for such projects like building a business strong , expanding its reach and launching of a new product but also promotes corporate vision to the internal employees and the external public and reflects corporate vision in its positive dimensions.
So in a nutshell this department plays one of the most vital role in advising an organization or company to flourish its business in a much smoother way.

India’s Tech Battle Against China.

20th October 1962, the date recorded as 1st Sino-India War, and also the only War India lost post-independence. China took it as a ever warfare theory of India, and attacked in 1967 again in Nathu-La, Sikkim region, in which India succeeded in saving its territory from being annexed by the infamous cheater of the Asian Region.
China have always been immensely hungry for piece of lands, and there’s a major reason for its land hunger,  the rapidly increasing population and density per square foot. This lack of land is one of the major problem of the country which eventually leads it to several other problems of the nation, like compact industry setup, homelessness of the citizens, agricultural area shortage and many others. Instead of solving the problems by scientific method, it prefers attacking neighbour countries, and capturing their lands. Its not just India who has land dispute with this hungry nation, several other neighbouring states also has great problems with it. Hong Kong has got some very serious issues with China.
China not only posses defence threat, but also economic and political threats, too. And now as per the world countries’ allegations, it has created a health threat to the world too, the Covid-19 virus. The virus, from which the whole world population’s life is on stake. And China is busy doing dirty business in this pandemic scenario.
China which is a major manufacturer, of goods in the World, was looked forward by other nations, even the world superpower, USA. China received a bulk order for masks and sanitizers during the pandemic situation. Instead of supplying quality products to the nations, it supplied foul products with worst quality. The most sarcastic supply was made to Pakistan, China supplied bad quality underwear to Pakistan labelling as Masks. The issue didn’t stopped there the complaint was coming from Italy, U.S, Russia, Britain, France and India, too.
This economic supply warfare of China, is the worst warfare, by any nation, ever. Amidst this cheating Policy of China, India rose as a leading supplier of masks and sanitizers and medicines like Hydroxychloroquine, to the other nations, this was a great threat for Chinese economy which tried hard to stabilise itself by cheating the world. And eventually this cheating policy got exposed and China started a new policy of diversion of focus from Economic cheating to Defence Warfare. The Sino-India force Conflict in Galwan Valley was a calculated move of Xi’s dirty warfare. But, as Modi’s stubborn policy of nationalism was a great reply to Xi’s policy.
Modi, now started a new policy of economic warfare against China, this policy of Modi is a threat to Xi’s Economic policies. All Chinese tenders and projects were cancelled in India, and its states. This led to a great economic loss for China. Modi started a new IT war against China by banning its apps, which were contributing in China’s economy, and has Indian users in a great number. Tiktok is a leading Chinese application with maximum Indian users, which is banned by the Government. And several other 58 apps were banned which is a great IT threat for infamous Cheater Chinese.
India’s these Economic and IT warfare beside the defensive warfare is a remarkable policy of Modi Government of India. These policies attract several big industries and they are planning for mobilisation from the Chinese mainland to Indian Subcontinent. This economic and diplomatic warfare is not only a threat for the Chinese leaders but also a profitable move for the Indian Leaders and Creators. China needs to understand the fact that India is no more the Nehru’s India, now India has capability to attack its enemies on every front. Now, India is a  nation of strikes.

\’Betaal\’ review: These undead shouldn’t have come to life

Living dead: Betaal could have been a worthy contribution to Indian horror.

Instead of soaring, the Netflix\’s steady start crashes and burns, just like its zombies
For any film or television venture into the paranormal to resonate widely, there requires a certain suspension of belief. This rings true in the case of Betaal, Netflix’s latest four-part horror show. Created by Patrick Graham, who also made Ghoul, the series attempts to reinvent the zombie genre with an army of British Redcoats who return from the dead to victimise a village of tribals. Simultaneously, the unfortunate villagers are also slandered as naxals by corrupt industrialists hungry to further their own nefarious agendas.
The premise is original with enough heft to carry forward its zombie central theme, especially in its treatment of adapting the story of Vikram Aur Betaalinto a contemporary setting. Graham’s zombies are part vampires with the powers of hypnosis and a chilling blood thirst that ticks off all the right horror boxes. As promised, the directors, Graham with Nikhil Mahajan slowly build the fear factor introducing the ‘Betaal’ curse that could wipe out humanity. The show’s characters are well fleshed-out, from Vikram Sirohi (Vineet Kumar Singh) battling his own past and moral compass to Panya (Manjiri Pupala), a fiercely brave tribal woman intent on saving humanity.
For the first three episodes, Betaalcomes along nicely, even if it doesn’t reinvent the horror wheel. As the climax approaches, the show loses its somewhat firm tether to the plot. The term kid gloves, doesn’t come close to the imbecilic explanations provided. Whatever benefit of doubt has been doled out is shattered. A particular scene involving the repair of an ancient cannon (in mere minutes with magically procured tools) is jaw dropping. Not in the good way. Other realisations come into focus: zombies awake after centuries with fetid faces and rank hair have pristine red coats and boots. At some point, they drag themselves as if in a stupor. Other times, they’re faster than quicksilver. A child (Syna Anand) – the object of boss zombie, Colonel Lynedoch’s (Richard Dillane) sacrificial desires – continues to gnaw on nerves with her inability to contribute to saving her own life.
As far as performances go, the actors have played their parts with what has been offered to them: perfectly adequate. With above par production value, Betaal at least looks and feels the part of a grim zombie escapade. But its shaky narrative, which violently falls apart, wrecks what could have been a worthy contribution to the oft-wronged genre. It’s unfortunate because the show is not only backed by Shah Rukh Khan but horror behemoth Blumhouse Productions too. To put it succinctly, Betaal tried to deliver the chills but spectacularly froze instead.
Betaal is currently streaming on Netflix

Nepotism:The Legacy of Terrorism.

Nephew, son of one’s own brother. This is a relation which gave birth to a new word, nepotismo, the Italian word which is based on it. Nepotism is not a recent issue, it has been a challenge for the world for ages. The Popes and bishops, who had taken vows of chastity, and therefore usually had no offspring, often were ascended by their nephews. This culture of relative elevation led to a papal ‘dynasty’. Nepotism is understood as choosing an unfit person over a fit one for a position, just because you like him. It is also understood, that side-liningl real talent and skills for favouring someone you like would lead you to several follies.
Nepotism exists in different sectors of the society, and are of several types.
Some of those types are:-
Political Nepotism– The most infamous sector which has been suffering from this nepotistic syndrome for a long time. Often a political party is led by the offspring or the successor of the founder. One of the most powerful position is held by someone without considering his qualification for holding the post. For example: the chief of Congress, must be Rahul Gandhi or Sonia Gandhi, as the Gandhi family has been leading the Congress party for years
Entertainment Nepotism-This sector was having a large nepotistic influence recently, but no one spoke against it firmly. Few artists dared to speak about such ill-practices in the industry. But, few lost their careers and even life due to this nepotism. Sushant Singh Rajput is one of the recent victim of Bollywood Industry’s nepotism.
Sports Nepotism– Sports have been a domain, where talent and skills are highly required to keep your position stable. But, always a try is made to introduce some players who are either relative of the retired players or those of the selection board members. Stuart Binny has been the major example of nepotism in sports.
Legislative Nepotism-Legislature have been the pillar of Indian democracy. The country’s all major plans and proposals are framed and implemented by the legislature. Thus, it needs people with finest brains and skills, but nepotism exist in the parliament, as well. The nominated members or the ticket allocation, are the major sites for nepotism in Indian Legislature.
Business Nepotism– Private sectors are popular for their work oriented culture. It is considered that in business culture, the one who works well is praised. But, here promotion is the most celebrated occasion for nepotists. The one who is well connected to the higher officials are more likely to get promotion irrespective of the skills and work working capacity.
Religious Nepotism– Religion is now a new form of patriotism. It has been assigned with a particular colour, colours are now symbol of a respective religion. How insane, isn’t it? However, nepotism exists even there. A pandit’s son is the future pandit. A maulana’s son is the next mulla. Gita and Quran are now sidelined, the legacy and teaching of father, is the new religious preaching.
All the above form of nepotism, exists in society. I’m pretty sure, other exist, too. But lets discuss the havoc these forms brings to us. The havoc which is similar to terrorism’s. Terrorist’s main agenda is to kill people and harm them at every possible form. Nepotism is no different. Nepotist’s attack those with real talent and skills, they demotivate them, they demote them, they try to make them feel inferior.  Nepotists make them realise their faults every time. And, unlike the terrorists, they don’t use ammunitions. They use even more harsh weapon, that’s words. Words have always been the most harmful weapon used by humanity.
The recent example of Nepotistic Terrorism is the case of Sushant Singh Rajput. This case might appear to be a suicide, but its a murder. A murder committed by nepotism and nepotists of Bollywood. Nepotists tried every possible means to demote him and make him feel leftover. He was made emotionally isolated and his professional life was messed up by those nepotistic producer, holding power in the B-town.
Although, the Bihar’s small town boy committed suicide, which was never a solution. But, his death won’t go in vain. Public has been outrageous towards such nepotistic producer and their films. Twitter was trending with their boycott hashtags. Nepotism has always been, is and always will be the destroyer of skilful and talented people’s career and promoter unreal talents. It has always been delivering havoc to every sector of society, where it exists. Skills and nepotism cannot exist in a development seeking society.

Reasons undeniable

This time of our life is very much difficult, such a pause in our fast pacing life was never expected. This pandemic has surely changed our lives, it is testing our will power and strength. Everyday watching the numbers of Corona cases just increasing develops a sense of fear in everyone. More heart drenching is to see the policemen , doctors and sanitation workers doing their job and not getting the respect they deserve. There are many journalist working on the ground to give us the visuals of the grave realities . The crematorium are filled with dead bodies of people who died due to corona, many of these bodies are unidentifiable. There are many people who are dying because of the effects of lockdown which is imposed because of the Corona pandemic. You may have noticed that I have now started sounding like the news reporters, what to do this is ought to happen.

Maharashtra has today crossed the one lakh mark  for the overall number of cases and I am afraid as you complete reading this article many more cases will be added, so I have decided, rather than getting upset all over again lets analyse why Maharashtra  has the most number of cases.

  1.  Population density – Mumbai which is the capital of Maharashtra is said to be the city of dreams. people come here in search of jobs and other opportunities  surely Mumbai  doesn\’t  break the expectations for most of them.  It is third most dense place in the world , out of  all the statistics and numbers you can actually feel  this while just travelling  in a local train in the working hours . Mumbaikars have a saying that if a person could reach to their destination by  travelling in a crowded train safely he/she can overcome any challenge in life. Talking about the numbers the population density is 32,500 per square kilometre  that means  nearly 33 people in one metre square area, and corona is a disease with high transmissibility  and in such a case people in Mumbai are at higher risks of getting infected.
  2. Number of tests – Its observed that Maharashtra is taking 10,000 tests every day, which is more than what is taken in other states. More number of tests means probability of more number of cases to be positive. This testing rates were  subsequently increased when corona positive cases were discovered in Dharavi, which is the most densely  populated area of Maharashtra .
  3.  Lack of healthcare facilities-  99% of  ICU beds in all the hospitals have been engaged, and on the other hand number of corona cases is increasing exponentially day by  day.  Though the recovery rate is high but it doesn\’t come even near to number of cases being added every day. As the doctors and nurses are not provided with proper safety equipment these doctors also test positive for corona.
  4. Negligence by the public – yes I don\’t see any social distancing being followed in my area, people are walking without masks and I can also see a group of middle aged women forming a group and  chattering . The other day, I saw in the news that  large number of people came out of their home , to take a walk in the marine drive area nor did they  follow any social distancing or neither any preventive measures were taken. These acts of negligence shown by an educated public is just not acceptable.

Lets face it, this is a very crucial time and  opening of lockdown does not mean corona virus is vanished . If we don\’t follow  preventive measures we will never be able to reach the time where all this virus is disappeared. Researchers do need time to develop the medicine or vaccine and we should give them that. Honestly if  we come out of this pandemic alive that itself would  be a very big achievement and lets pray that we all get to be successful.

Have you seen the song \” Jahan main jati hoon wahin chale aate ho\”  from the movie chori chori. Where the actors performs a human puppet show, this is a form of art which  has been been underrated through all these years. Puppetry is really different from other art forms, its not like classical music or dance which some people understand and some people not. Puppet shows involves a story enacted by dolls which sometimes looks like a human or animals, which everyone understands and enjoys too. People of all age groups enjoy it, especially for the older generation this is a part their nostalgia.

Puppets have a long run in the history, its said that this art was developed 4 centuries ago. In India people used to organize  fair every year and the most popular stops were the puppet shows. They used to depict parts of mythological stories like Mahabharata and Ramayana. There are different forms of puppet shows in different states, which is because of the influence of their culture.  In Tamil Nadu string puppets were most popular, they were called Bommalatam which means  the dance of dolls. These dolls always enacted as some god or goddess and this show used to last for days. Many innovative stories were told with the help of puppet shows, the puppeteers always got immense popularity and were called every year. Many  Tamil movie  writers have said that these shows has always influenced their writings.

In Rajasthan not only string but shadow ,and rod puppets were also popular. The string puppets and rod puppets were made of wood and were beautifully dressed with colorful costumes. These puppets shows were actually classified as comedy, tragedy or devotional genre. The comedy genre was most famous as it shows conversation between two people and how it takes a hilarious turn. The puppet dance were also famous where the traditional folk dance of  Rajasthan Ghoomar was being performed by the dolls. These dolls were special because the strings are also attached to its hips so that the performance is accurate, the puppeteers are specialized and their fingers used run like magic. The shadow puppet shows  depicts historical stories and wars, here there puppets are carved in a sheet of cardboard in the shape they desire.  Many festivals are organized every year which exhibits these tradition. people from all over the world come to just witness this and enjoy this rich culture.

Glove puppets are relatively new form of puppet show, where gloves shaped of the caricatures are wore and a person from behind enunciates the dialogues. This is mostly seen in TV shows and Advertisements to make the concepts more interesting and intriguing. With the development of technology there are digital puppet shows being developed, where puppets  shows are animated and VFX is used so as to make it more interesting, but surely can\’t replace the traditional ways. Puppet shows  has their own importance  they were  used in the mid 70s to spread messages and making people aware about the government policies or some advisories , like stories were performed which gave the people message under the campaign of \” Hum do humare do\”. Surely  the art of puppetry is not as respected as it was before as there are many other ways to entertain ourselves. There are many people who are trying hard to keep this art alive and we  should also try to do this, Or else as Seethalaxmi the popular puppeteer  said \”My ancestors have dedicated their whole life to this art; now it is my responsibility. After me, I fear who will take care of the 1,000 odd puppets.”
