Ecommerce in India!

So let’s have a look that what does ecommerce mean~ E-commerce is the activity of electronically buying or selling of products on online services or over the Internet.

And if we talk about “Ecommerce in India” then, India has an Internet user base of about 696.77million as of May 2020, about 40% of the population. In 2017, the largest e-commerce companies in India were Flipkart, Snapdeal and Amazon. In 2018, Amazon beat Flipkart and was recorded the biggest ecommerce in India in terms of revenue. And it’s rapidly growing up day by day.

In India, cash on delivery is the most preferred payment method, accumulating 75% of the e-retail activities. Demand for international consumer products (including long-tail items) is growing faster than in-country supply from authorised distributors and e-commerce offerings. Long tail business strategy allows companies to realize significant profits by selling low volumes of hard-to-find items to many customers, instead of only selling large volumes of a reduced number of popular items. The term was first coined in 2004 by Chris Anderson.

In 2017, the largest e-commerce companies in India were Flipkart, Snapdeal and Amazon. In 2018, Amazon beat Flipkart and was recorded the biggest ecommerce in India in terms of revenue.

And some of the ecommerce sites are:

1. Amazon.in

2. Flipkart

3. Snapdeal

4. ebay India

5. IndiaMART

6. Shopclue

And so on…

But one should properly check the product and should take a clear look in the mind that this product is the only one which I want to purchase and they’ve can go on but inspection of the product must be the first priority of the customer.

The way to self-improvement

Everybody likes money, it is an essential aspect of our daily lives that controls society. We use it for exchanging goods and services as well as a benchmark for our success. Knowledge and health follow the same principle, we deem people who are smarter or more fit than us just as better, wanting to become better is in the mindset of all of us. It matters whether we put in the effort or not. Money making, boosting health and attaining knowledge which consists of two parts and it’s very simple structure aspect that is ‘Investment’. This is essentially investing and setting aside time money or any other resources to reach your goal, this might seem like common sense but most people say that they are going to do something but end up not doing it due to laziness or not having enough time.

If you truly care about something you will make time and think of a way to achieve that goal. Let’s take the concept of investing resources and apply it to stock market or money making concept. The younger you start investing , the less money you have to invest per day, per month or even per year to become a millionaire by age of 65. If you want to invest more, go ahead and make the million come to you faster. By investing money and time, you get to enjoy your life more slowly improving your wealth over time. We can invest our money into any company, may that be Google, Amazon, Walmart, Tesla, etc. The sooner you start investing your money, the less effort is required to reach a million and this strategy can be applied to any goal that you create. Knowledge and health follow the same principle, invest money and time and you will be greatly rewarded throughout your journey. Buy books or courses for improving your overall health or your knowledge or buy a personal trainer that can help you to change your dream body. Overall it all boils down to whether you are able to achieve your willing goal, you should actually take a leap towards your goal.

The hardest part of your journey will be aspect number two- ‘Motivation’. Motivation differs from person to person, some people want to become rich to have a great life for themselves while others to give money to organizations that make the world a better place, some people want to have an aesthetic body for showing off and others for their fitness, it differs. Motivation is the burning sensation inside of you that either one wants to continue ferociously or wants to give up because you aren’t seeing the results or it seems too risky. We have to realize that by investing into a better view, it doesn’t matter whether you might have pitfalls in your journey, whereas phrase goes “keep your eyes on the prize”. Fundamentally it does not matter what your goal is, find ways to never lose hope and motivation to succeed and you will achieve your goal much faster than you planned.

Improvement can be achieved in two parts- invest time, money or any other resources that you need and the other one is to have the pure persistence or find ways to never lose hope and motivation to succeed. This adds upto a better version of you.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PIZZA DESTINATION?

A pizza lover? Of course, everyone is right! So.. Which is your go to place for Pizza? Must be familiar with “Domino’s” Aren’t you! But do you know that Today’s world’s highest pizza seller brand , Our beloved Domino’s Pizza was once the most criticised food joint and was about to be “abandoned”.

DOMINO’S a well knowned brand all over the world having, 15000 plus stores worldwide with approximately 5,649 stores in the U. S. , 1,232 stores in the India and 1,094 stores in the U.K. is highly popular among customers everywhere in the World. However, as they say everyone and everything have had it’s history, same is applicable here.

Journey from Receiving Criticism to Gained Love.

Back in 2009, Domino’s brand image started falling miserably and it’s share price which had already been hit by the recession in 2008 reached down to price of $6 per share. The sales were falling drastically. Domino’s was failing badly and Thus, to take a closer look at the situation the company’s CEO back then ‘Patrick Doyle’ took an insightful look at the reasons for this downfall. Thereby, it was found that there were several blogs, posts, stating that “it’s crust tasted like Cardboard” while, “it’s sauce tasted like ketchup” and many more such demeaning comments flashed upon. The company’s image kept deteriorating. In these difficult times, while any company with such huge base and name like Domino’s would try to ignore or overshadow these comments or rather improve their paid ranking, they decided to face the criticism while being on the Front foot. Accepting it with whole honesty and taking a step forward to actually hear out their customers and enhancing their taste and quality, regain the trust and loyalty of people. Company’s CEO Patrick Doyle took the full responsibility on himself and swore to give a grand and worthy come back. What happened next was remarkable as the company literally called some disappointed customers, critics and those blog post writers to taste and give the honest reviews and feedbacks of their Pizzas. The whole team of Domino’s remain present altogether to hear and diligently take notes on their Shortcomings and obtain the knowledge about what bothered the customers and how bad their pizzas tasted. After listening it all over, Each and every chef at Domino’s worked day and night for the next ’18 months’ to try out all the different spices and mixes to come up with the best, and give a Power pack comeback with their authentic world class Pizzas with invincible taste. While going through this process they actually found out that in order to meet their 30 minute delivery timeline and to cut the costs their supply chain and quality of ingredients was pathetically declined, there were frozen, canned and low quality ingredients which worked as the root cause to these issues. Now, without wasting any time in grief they immediately were all set to turn the tables in their favour.

But How was it possible?

They decided to rejuvenate the whole Supply chain of company, which was extraordinary as it included changing the whole of inventory, processing, packaging and delivery methodologies of on total 4200 stores which were spread on approx 9.33 million square kilometers of area which is three times the size of India. And they, succeeded to do all of it within just 18 months. Moreover, a very sweet and at the same time another courageous move was taken by them that is., the Head Chef of Domino’s himself went off with the pizzas to the houses of their harshest critics and made them taste their freshly made all new Domino’s pizzas. All those people were shook to their core as they got to experience a next level change in the taste and adequately the then worst pizza brand according to them, made them change their perception completely to the state of calling it U.S.’s best pizza place now. What impressed them the most was the fact that their reviews were so considerably looked upon by such a big company and the Head chef himself was on their doorsteps to take their approvals. They started a “YES WE DID IT ” campaign and the Domino’s stock value recorded an increase of 44% in the following month itself. It sales increased up to 14.3% which was the highest quarterly increase in fast food industry, the campaign got approximately 2 billion media impressions. And, the stock rise kept going higher for seven years and took a leap up to 2000%, outshining Amazon, Apple and Netflix.

A LESSON TO THE WORLD.

Domino’s provided us with the biggest example of creating business solutions out of one’s own problems. Rather than taking a step back from making improvements by fearing loss, they saw it as a million dollar investment for growth in near future and ended up discovering opportunities for themselves. Every business should always consider the fact that Quality and customer satisfaction are two main market players when it comes to creating a brand name. Discounts and low pricing strategy alone can give you only Short-term success.

LIFE CYCLE OF INNOVATION

INNOVATION

Innovation is the action or process involved in improving an existing product/service. It involves new techniques and ideas to create better products that add up value to the customers. Innovation enhances the brand value and is the key to the successful running of the organizations.

Example: Power banks – They are innovative reusable devices that replace conventional chargers in the absence of electricity. Power banks store the battery and give power through USB ports to the devices in need of charging.

LIFE CYCLE OF INNOVATION

The phases of innovation in an innovation life cycle can be the following

  • Ideation – Ideation starts with the necessity of a solution for a problem or to satisfy the customer’s requirements. The problem statement is identified first and the feasible idea to solve it, is generated. Curiosity, Creativity, Involvement gives impetus for a new idea to spark. This may either increment an old one or open a new market. Innovation potentials are generally identified through
    • Targeted search – This involves finding potentials through creativity workshops, idea contests, or LEAD user workshops.
    • Random findings – This involves discovering the new idea randomly while coming across some new products, suggestions, and customer feedback.
  • Research – This is one of the important steps as it involves identifying risks. After the idea is generated, research should be done to conceptualize and bring an idea into a form. Proof of Concept (POC) must be provided and it should prove that neither a similar product is available in the market nor POC is available and patented. This phase should ensure that the idea is possible by analyzing
    • Customer’s requirements – Customer’s unheard problems and needs.
    • Market potential – Market size and attractiveness for the generated idea.
    • Growth potential – Expected opportunities, growth, and scalability.
    • Risks and feasibility – Potential risks, technical barriers and laws, standards, and patterns.
  • Offering – This phase involves offering the product as a complete one to the market. Before it is offered, the availability of resources and scope of the product in the market must be analysed. The feedback from the potential customers must be obtained and incorporated. Use these customers as an anchor to obtain new customers.
  • Commercialization – This involves launching the product as a commercial one to gain profit from it. The following points should be considered for commercialization
    • Sales plan and marketing strategy – How the product is delivered to the customers and attracting, convincing, and making the customers realize the need for the product.
    • Contracts and license management – Regarding the terms and conditions for using the product
    • Product management and engineering – Involves packaging, delivery, and installation. Striving continuously for future enhancements and updating the versions on a timely basis.
    • Customer support – Customer helpdesks, feedback management, etc.
  • Growth – This phase is to ensure leading the market. Continuous study on the competitors, new arrivals, and customer needs could help retain the market position. The product should be able to sustain the competitive market. Customer acceptance and support should be increased through the performance of the product. Eventually, revenue generation increases. The availability of the product must be expanded.
  • Retirement – A product goes through this phase when there is a replacement of the product by an advanced one. The product tends to lose the market position thereby failing to generate expected revenue. This may happen due to a decrease in demand, the substitution of technology or the product may no longer provide a relevant solution to the customers.

These phases of innovation are considered indispensable in the product’s lifecycle. So, it becomes mandatory to take care of every detail in the life cycle to achieve success and sustain in the market.

Time Blocking: Improve Your Focus And Get More Meaningful Work Done

Do you have a list of priorities or goals that you want to achieve this year? And do you struggle with allocating time to them? Time blocking might be helpful.

It certainly helped me. Look, I’m not any different from you. Life can be messy. Most of us juggle a lot of different things at the same time. Even though the simple solution is to stop juggling, it’s not always realistic. Or even needed.

What if you could do more things without losing your time? It’s possible. But you must work in an organized way.

Time Blocking a simple productivity exercise that many people use. It’s not fancy or revolutionary. The only thing you need is a calendar, which is something everyone with a smartphone and computer has.

Time Blocking is simply using your calendar to block time for your most important priorities. During that time, you only work on that one thing. And, you let your calendar lead the way. That way, you don’t have to think, “What should I do next?”

But Time Blocking is more than just a productivity tool. It’s about self-awareness.

The road to high productivity starts with awareness.

For instance, one of my priorities this year is to write a book on pragmatic thinking. However, there’s a problem: I haven’t been writing.

How did I come to this conclusion? I simply looked at my list of priorities for 2017, and I then I looked at my calendar.

I hadn’t scheduled any time for writing in a while. Now, you might think, “do you really have to look at your calendar to realize that?”

Yes, I do. I’m not some kind of supercomputer that remembers everything. I’m a regular human being. I think of something to do, start working on it, life gets in the way, and then I FORGET about it.

It happens to all of us. We need self-awareness and tools that keep us in check. And that’s why I like Time Blocking.

Some people love Time Blocking. Some people hate it.

Computer science professor and author of Deep Work, Cal Newport, also uses time blocking. He says:

“I take time blocking seriously, dedicating ten to twenty minutes every evening to building my schedule for the next day. During this planning process I consult my task lists and calendars, as well as my weekly and quarterly planning notes. My goal is to make sure progress is being made on the right things at the right pace for the relevant deadlines.”

The last sentence is exactly why I schedule everything I want to do. Working is not the same thing as making progress. And Time Blocking helps me to improve my focus so I can get meaningful things done. Things that have an actual impact on my life.

I know there are a lot of successful people who work with empty calendars. I’ve read the articles. They simply work two, three or four hours per day.

And to be honest, that sounds very attractive to me too. However, one must look at his/her own life situation.

What are you trying to achieve?

And more importantly: What resources do you have?

Often, people who don’t have a lot of money, do have a lot of time. So why not use it wisely? Either way, I think that planning serves a purpose.

I plan my days and weeks in advance because I want to make sure I’m working on the RIGHT things. Too often, I get lost in completing daily tasks.

Think about it this way. I’m pretty organized already. And I only work on one big thing per area of my life.

But there are many different areas of my life: My family business, my blog, podcast, online courses, relationship, friends, investments, etc.

It might sound like I’m doing many different things. But it depends on how you look at it. Everything I do leads to one thing: Living a meaningful and independent life.

But let’s not get philosophical here. If you’re lacking focus, not making progress, and want to work in a more organized way, give time blocking a try.

Here are some things I’ve learned that may help:

  • Take 10 minutes every evening and plan your next day. Rearrange blocks if you must create time for other important things.
  • Use recurring blocks for recurring tasks. For instance, I’ve scheduled two hours to write my new book every Tuesday and Thursday.
  • Don’t over-schedule. Realistically, you can’t be productive 10 hours straight. Give yourself some time between tasks.
  • And always schedule more time than you think you need.

“Wow, time blocking sounds like too much planning to me.”

No problem. Plan less. There’s always a counter-movement for everything. People who do the exact opposite and advocate an anti-productivity lifestyle. You know, folks who claim they have empty calendars and don’t care about anything.

People who pretend they are always “enjoying” themselves. They like to go with the flow and daydream.

You know what that reminds me of? Those kids in school always said, “Ah dude, I didn’t have time to study for this class,” but always ended up getting straight A’s.

People just want to make you believe they don’t work hard. It’s facade. And when they do well in life, it seems like it came easy.

As far as I know, achieving meaningful things is hard. I don’t think there’s anything cool about pretending it’s easy. Nor do I believe that it’s cool to work yourself to death.

I often think of this question: Are you an amateur or a pro?

It’s Steven Pressfield’s famous analogy, from his book The War Of Art, for getting work done.

The amateur-only works when inspiration strikes. The pro sits down every day and puts in steady work. The key is steady. Not irregular or extreme.

Pressfield says:

“The sure sign of an amateur is he has a million plans and they all start tomorrow.”

Don’t start tomorrow.

Windows 11 and What holds for microsoft in 2021 and beyond

Microsoft will hold the Windows event dubbed as ‘what’s next of windows’ on Thursday, June 24. After the alleged leak of Windows 11 developer build on the internet, it begs the question, what is Microsoft going to reveal on June 24? Because if rumors are true, Microsoft will officially announce Windows 11 to be the successor of windows.

WHAT ABOUT WINDOWS 10?

Many were surprised after hearing about the news of a Windows event. Apparently, in 2015 one of the Microsoft senior spokespeople told that Windows 10 would be the last version of windows. Many assumed that Microsoft will continuously update windows as a service. But this doesn’t seem to be true anymore. It’s hard to believe but windows 10 is almost 7 years old now. Windows 10 has seen major overhauls and many major updates throughout its lifespan. But this has been proven as a double-edged sword for Microsoft since its launch in 2015. Microsoft has also updated the end of support date for Windows 10 to June 2015 which confirms that Windows 10 is not the last version of Windows after all. After Microsoft disbanded its in-house testing team in favor of the Windows 10 update service where users participate in the testing phase (Windows insider program). This new method of update delivery has been problematic and many users’ Windows PCs were marred with bugs and broken functionalities. It seems that updating Windows operating system is not as easy as Android, Mac OS, or iOS. The legacy platforms and enterprise business that Microsoft has to support have always kept Windows progress at a snail’s pace. Microsoft cannot radically change the interface or remove its functionalities as many legacy software still relies on those functionalities. The leak version has the start button in the middle of the taskbar and it looks more like the Mac OS taskbar now. Thankfully it can also be changed back to the left corner like the previous versions. There is also a separate search button and new icons and it looks like that Windows is leaving behind the flat design language.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM WINDOWS 11?

The leaked build of Windows is not drastically different from the current version of Windows 10 but many experts believe that the leaked version is most probably the UX team build and there will be a lot more than Microsoft will unveil in the event. The leak was indirectly acknowledged by Microsoft and indicated that ‘This is just the start. There is a possibility that the Windows 11 or Windows Sun Valley or whatever they will call it, will be an incremental update and Windows 10 users could update free of charge. But we cannot be sure as of yet until the official event.

Satya Nadella and Panos Panay will be present at the event to unveil Windows 11 features and capabilities on Thursday. The Microsoft store could also get an overhaul and there is also a good probability of support for ARM processors and the support for upcoming Intel’s new Big little architecture. There will be an overhaul in the the system sounds and UI and new animations. All these are still speculations and we will have to wait will the official announcement by Microsoft themselves.

INDUSTRIAL SICKNESS

Industrial sickness refers to the situation wherein an industrial firm performs poorly, incurs losses for several years and often defaults in its debt repayment obligations. The problem of industrial sickness has grown significantly over the years in India and a large number of industrial units were affected by it.

There are various causes of industrial sickness. Firstly, an internal cause can be faults at the planning and construction stage. Faulty decisions like setting up the firm in the wrong location i.e. a location which lacks infrastructure facilities or lacks market availability cause problems in the long run. Unplanned production, unbalanced capital structure etc. are all faulty decision which makes a firm sick.

Defective plant and machinery is another reason for industrial sickness. It has been observed that small scale sector do not seek professional technical guidance in choosing machinery. At times technology adopted is outdated and inappropriate. Production with this sort of technology is bound to be inferior and likely to suffer cost and price disadvantage.
An external cause of industrial sickness is demand and credit restrain. During the times of recession, there is a steep decline of demand in the market. This causes losses to individual units especially the products with high prices like automobiles. If such situation persists for long durations, then industrial units are prone to turn sick.
The most important internal cause of industrial sickness is management problems. Management can make or break a firm. Incorrect managerial decisions pertaining to the fields of finance, production, marketing etc. can ruin a business. Absence of quality control systems, lack of inventory, inadequate maintenance are some examples of mismanagement.
Entrepreneurial incompetence is yet another reason for industrial sickness. Many entrepreneurs in the small scale sector do not have basic knowledge of business, manufacturing, costing, accounts etc. Units set up by them often turn sick.
Industrial sickness can have serious consequences. It is a set back for employment opportunities. When a firm turns sick, it can actually go out of business. Closure of an industrial firm renders its workers unemployment. This situation can be more serious if a big firm with a large number of employees gets shut down. Unemployment brings a lot of complications with itself. This can cause industrial unrest. Closure of a big firm also causes labour unrest which can result in industrial strikes which threatens the peace of industrial environment.
Industrial sickness also leads to wastage of resources. When a sick firm is shut down, resources invested in that unit are wasted. In case of large firms this problem is more serious as a lot of investment is made in its plants and machinery. In fact other industries which are linked to a sick firm through backward or forward linkages, also incur some losses.
Closure of large sick units also effects investors and entrepreneurs and creates a psychology of despair. The prices of share fall down and affect the entire stock market. Even banks and financial institutions which have granted loans to these units suffer losses. Locking up funds in the sick units negatively affects the future lending programmes of banks and financial institutions. Industrial sickness also results in loss of revenue of government. Since industrial sickness has such a wide range of impact, it is considered as a social problem in India.

Exploring Business Approaches!

“Being business minded requires you to always approach things with humility and respect.”

Strive Masiyiwa

We are by now familiar with two types of approaches which are of course, positive and negative but we miss out on another important one within the positive approach, the one that very subtly lets a wee bit of negativity drift in so that something positive can happen. Let us name it the Pogative Approach that uses negativity to make something positive occur in business. For instance, cheating with the delivery of your services to get a surplus is a good example of this approach. Thus, the point to be highlighted is that most businessmen resort to the Pogative Approach and assign it the positive tag. However, this approach isn’t acceptable in business owing to the fact that it has the capacity to damage your reputation which may only break the chain of regular customers and as stated in the earlier articles, you don’t want to compromise with the regular ones because they have the power to fetch you a new queue of customers through feedback. Thus, businessmen must shun the myopic perspective and have an agile future vision.

Before inaugurating your business on a large scale, it is better to begin as an entrepreneur because a bigger company comes with reputed customers and you don’t want to deal with them without any previous practice. You don’t want to mortify yourself by not being able to impart those perfect customer service skills. You don’t want a bad image owing to lack of expertise. That’s exactly why, we move from basics to advanced level of expertise because as the saying goes, Practice makes Perfect. Thus, practicality comes into handy as it lends us a helping hand towards the topsy turvy business route. Everything in life surely has stages. So, a company owner must have run errands or worked as an entrepreneur which is essential as it helps us understand whether or not we are interested in business. It can be considered the first stage. Many a times, after going through this basic stage, a person realizes that business isn’t his piece of cake, which eventually helps him back off and prevent future losses!

When customers come into the picture, businessmen have to adopt an emotional approach. Though, it may be a lipstick of sham that feeling needs to reach and penetrate deeply in the customers’ heart so that they feel impressed and prefer you yet again in the future. This is what constitutes customer service. However, instead of pretending to be emotional, it is advisable to be true to your feelings and respecting each and every customer who trusts you with their hard earned money. You don’t want to dupe them by showing a ruthless image that can never be dropped in the near future since First Impression is the Last Impression as we all know. Of course, you aren’t expected to have deep rooted loving emotions for each and every customer, but you surely must possess those ethics that dislocate your intentions of betraying them through lack of commitment. In short, emotions and ethics share a close relation which makes adopting the emotional approach mandatory since every customer matters.

Every business is a convenient spot for customers thus, expecting variety in conveniences is acceptable. Thus, one should adopt a flexible approach that welcomes all sorts of services to the society so that customers feel satisfied enough to approach you. For instance, if your business includes website designing then make sure you incorporate all sorts of web related activities. You too want a variety of sources that fetch you income, don’t you? Thus, don’t adopt a rigid approach and remember to remain open to the market trends as you digest new services in. Flexibility also comes into limelight when you are expected to fine tune your services. Don’t be rigid with the manner of your services and try streamlining them with new facilities each and every time, as the market trends transform! As we all know, we can either introduce new services or evolve convenient features in the existing one to make it look like a new service. Thus, both of these require a broad based mindset which accepts feedbacks be they in the form of criticism and takes these in a positive manner to enhance the quality of ones services.

Let us understand all of these approaches through a short story. Let us imagine a company selling children’s wear. The owner before beginning this business had been working as an entrepreneur and stitched pretty garments at home which received great demand later. Thus, it helped the owner evolve into a huge business since she had gained some expertise in customer handling and felt the need to occupy a bigger platform for herself. Customers receive a warm attitude that doesn’t back in pleasing them which lures them all the more. She stitches garments even better than the customer demands, which obviously melts them. They pledge to choose her always because the love mixed with the services clearly touches the customers’ heart. It’s been a year or so, she surveyed some people who informed her that including ladies wear could help which she flexibly considers with a positive approach and tries her hand on this new endeavor. She effectively learns the same and drags attention of women on a large scale after 6 months owing to the efforts she puts into perfectly constructing those beautiful garments with unique patterns that every lady feels eager to try out. In short, dedicated and flexible approach that accepts feedback helped her succeed and have a huge business. After ladies wear, she tried incorporating teen wear and this variety gained wider public admiration. In short, one mustn’t hesitate in introducing new services or trying hands on multiple ones so that success touches our feet!

Be Flexible, Be Vibrant, and Be Dedicated!

Happy Business- Ing!

Family Business and its Challenges

All businesses face challenges and obstacles, whether it’s about hiring a good and loyal employees or the changing economy. Family businesses have the same problems as other firms, but they also have their own set of issues to deal with.

Some of the most common challenges are:

  1. Family Problems – Family problems and emotions always affect family businesses. Negative emotions like resentment, envy, and competition in family members can cause severe problems in the family business.
  2. Informality – Since everyone is from the family only, there is the absence of business policies when it comes to the family members.
  3. Lack of talent – Family members who are not qualified or talented enough to work in the family business.
  4. Training – There should be a precise training program when you involve family members in the family business. It should provide distinct information related to the aims and objectives, expectations, and responsibilities of the position.
  5. Well-organized thinking – Judgments are made day-to-day in response to the issues and problems. There is no long-term preparation or imperative planning.
  6. The pressure of hiring family members – When it comes to the family business, it’s hard to withstand the pressure that comes along when family members request to join the business.
  7. Lack of an external point of view – Family members always don’t have the same views and opinions, but they usually have the same upbringing, lifestyle, and life experiences which leads to a similar point of view of the business. Businesses need an external point of view of their company.
  8. Sibling Rivalry – When siblings are competing, it’s not good for the family business because then they will focus more on competing and less on the family business.
  9. Employing Spouse – Conflict happens in the family business when a spouse is highly qualified, liable, and responsible for the work, the results of employment in the business can be good. But this sometimes affects the personal life of the couples and sometimes the other spouse resents and becomes jealous of the success of their spouse.

Most people turn to internet platforms for any information, and in this situation, digital marketing is an excellent way to promote your products. Because there are so many Digital Marketing Agencies on the market right now, how will you pick the best one for your business?

A company’s decision to engage a Digital Marketing Agency is influenced by several variables. Here are some steps that will help you select the best Digital Marketing Agency:

  1. Find out what your business need

When looking for the finest digital marketing firms, make a strategy and ask yourself a few questions, such as: what do I want to achieve with an agency and how much am I willing to invest in it to do so? Understanding exactly what you want can aid you in locating it rather than wasting valuable time and resources.

  1. Find an agency that can help you with your requirements

“How would I select an agency for my business?” you might think. To begin, consider the packages that a firm is giving. Do they align with what you need your business to accomplish? This is an important topic to examine because if their marketing technique isn’t what you’re searching for, the agency isn’t ‘The One,’ no matter how much you like it.

  1. Do the background check

Before you proceed, you should conduct a thorough background check on the digital marketing agency you want to hire. To determine whether or not an agency is appropriate for you, look at the results they’ve achieved. If you’re intending to employ an agency for your social media account, for example, you should learn how they manage their platform.

Another approach to determining whether or not a digital marketing agency is good is to ask for recommendations. If you have any friends, relatives, or friends-of-friends, you might ask them if they know of any agencies. You may also conduct a LinkedIn search.

  1. Ask relevant questions

What should I ask the agency, you might be wondering. You will almost certainly receive hundreds of queries; nevertheless, you must ask the right questions.

QUESTIONS YOU SHOULD ASK YOUR POTENTIAL NEW DIGITAL MARKETING AGENCY:

  • Could you show me some examples?
  • Who will be responsible for completing the task?
  • What kind of outcomes would you be able to guarantee me?
  • How will the outcomes and return on investment be calculated?
  1. Give the agency a task

Request that the firm create a public relations campaign or a content advertising piece for your business and that they put up specific plans to present to you. The greatest idea will be completed by the digital marketing firm at that point, and you will wait for the results. This may be in the form of press links or high post ranks (even though this will take longer).

  1. Hold a meeting with the agency

If everything is satisfactory, schedule a meeting with the Digital Marketing Agency. This is a good way to get to know the team and have a chance to work out any concerns before signing any contracts.

The right agency can generate a significant amount of revenue for your business while also taking care of everything.

tHE nEW wAY OF gROWING Business- Social Media Marketing

The Internet has made the world a global village. You can not only interact and engage with people nationally but also internationally. This has not only expanded the scope of personal interaction but also business engagement.

What is social media marketing?

Let’s get to know what social media marketing means by breaking up the term into two parts, ‘social media and ‘marketing’.

Social media is a collective term for an interactive online platform for the creation of social relations with people, communicating information and ideas. Social media lets you socialize virtually with the convenience of ‘anytime anywhere’.

Marketing on the other hand means, the activities taken up by companies to promote their products and services by bringing it to the notice of the potential customers and clients by advertising it through different platforms, be it print, broadcast, digital, or any other. So, the term social media marketing collectively means the use of social media platforms by companies to grow their audience base for their products and services by reaching out the potential customers through advertisements posted on social media. it can contain text, images, videos, or any other elements that can increase audience engagement.

Today, there are so many social media applications available, that can be easily accessed through the internet. This has made it so much easier and faster to connect with people around the world. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linked In, Snapchat, and YouTube are some of the most commonly used social media apps.

Algorithms

Social media has an algorithm that it works according to. The algorithm decides which posts the users would see as they refresh their feed. The algorithm aims at recommending posts to the users so that they keep scrolling and can see more ads.

You might have noticed the moment you search for some product on a search engine or through an app to buy, the next moment you scroll through your social media you would get advertisements of more such products or more products from that shopping app.

Even the companies and brands have their page on social media. The more people engage in and see their posts, the more it gets recommended to other people as the algorithm identifies it as something people would like to see. This algorithm is prominent in the case of YouTube.

The analytics of such social media platforms lets you see the number of impressions the post has, the number of views, comments, and even the shares made. It also lets you see the graph of day-to-day, weekly, monthly and even yearly views gained. This acts as a great help in analyzing how the particular type of content is being accepted by the audience so that you can make changes in the way of your presentation of advertisements or posts accordingly for a better audience base.

Usage of appropriate hashtags also contributes to spreading the reach. Hashtags that can be well associated with your brand or the product contribute a lot to the performance of the content.

Moreover, it is very crucial to do market research before posting up your content on social media for the product or brand, as to know what people like and accordingly design your content to meet the taste and preference of the people for greater success.

DESIGN OF BUYER-CENTRIC FUNNEL

What is a buyer-centric funnel?

A Funnel in business terms is the customer’s travel from a normal visitor to becoming a loyal customer of a particular product or a company. Buyer-centric means organizing the different business approaches from the customer’s perspective rather than building it from the seller’s perspective. A buyer-centric funnel is a marketing model built in a consumer-focused way that transforms normal visitors into constant customers.

Why do we need this?

In a normal world, the sales process is vendor-centric where buyer’s questions are not answered properly. So, to address the consumer’s problems, we bring in the buyer-centric approach which breaks the sales process into different stages such that it sustains existing customers.

The Buyer’s journey

The consumer funnel model build for the buyer’s journey should include the 3 stages:

  1. Awareness – This is the phase where consumers explore and understand the problems they have. About 80% of the customers will be in this stage. So, the model should be built with more insights about the problems and with the possible solutions. The benefits of the proposed solutions should also be mentioned. No marketing of the product should be done.
  2. Consideration – In this phase, the product’s information should be provided followed by a free trial or demo. Try to approach in an appealing way such as giving customer stories. This triggers the customers to buy the product which is the ultimate destination. An average of 15% of the customers reaches this stage.
  3. Purchase – The customers would be ready to buy the product in this phase. Only 5% of the customers will reach this stage and be ready to purchase the product. The main aim of this phase lies not only in selling the product but also in retaining the customers.

Getting to know your Buyer Personae

This is one of the important parts where we identify the key characteristics and the target audience. Try to understand the customer’s business goals and thrive to provide those to the customers. Analyze their problems and pain points more deeply and find out what they are exactly looking for. Then try to give the needed solutions or the features that are the customer’s highest priority. Understand what they like and do not like about the company and address the questions and concerns they have. Next is to know what influences consumers to buy the product. Before buying a product, a customer looks for the pros and cons of the product. Good services make the chances of buying the product higher. Design and re-design the funnel until the customers reach the ‘Wow Moment’.

Wow Moment

The moment which drives the customer to explore more when he/she comes across something interesting and cool is the ‘Mini Wow Moment’. The moment which urges the customer to buy the product as soon as he/she is satisfied enough is the ‘Full Wow Moment’.

Factors to be considered to reach the Wow Moment:

  1. How many steps are involved before achieving a Wow Moment?
  2. How much time is taken to reach a Wow Moment?
  3. How much friction is involved before reaching a Wow Moment?

Keeping these factors to the minimum is important to design an effective Buyer-centric funnel.

Flip the Funnel

To change the traditional market paradigm, the Flip the Funnel approach is used which means investing fewer resources on the new customers and giving huge importance to retain the loyal customers. As a result, the existing customers share their experiences with their peers and act as a new client acquisition channel.

Flipping the funnel is done keeping the following factors into count:

  • Look at the data – Frequently analyze the current marketing data. Three key metrics cited for this analysis are
    • Average acquisition cost
    • Average retention cost
    • The average cost of acquiring a new customer through a referral
  • Adapt new customer service rules – If a customer is not addressed when he reaches the service department, then the company would lose the customer. In order to avoid this, companies should have 24/7 customer support and reach out to every customer in need.
  • Identify influencers – Identify the influencers who make or break the business and treat them well.
  • Reward customers – Recognize and reward customers on a timely basis and always have track of customer’s purchases.
  • Convince management – The key considerations of this hardest part are
    • Metrics and benchmarks
    • Outside validation
    • Small steps, quick wins
    • Manage expectations

Don’t oversell, make the customers believe that the strategy is easy.

Why self-motivation is necessary for life

All of us need some motivation to do anything in our life, motivation is one of the most important keys that will unlock success in our life, but before that, we are also have some knowledge about motivation, you have any idea that when this word’ motivation ‘ will came in your life and become very important,

Champ doesn’t afraid from these exams you will pass these exams, this is what if it is not motivation so motivation was always present behind every work in your life. but we become aware of that word by the social media, and also we become confused between the word inspiration and motivation.

When we learn from someone’s life situations it is an inspiration and when we do something from ourself it is motivation. The the following someone, or learn something from someone is very important in today’s life. This is one of the best things that we should learn in this life.

Learn from the great person is a very essential thing that we will do in our lives, for this we read great person biographies, see their interviews, meeting, learn their facts about life and also try to learn that how they see the problems of life and how they handle the problems of life. But this is an inspiration.

If you want to achieve something in your life, you have some purpose for that particular work, why behind the work, and you have to find out that way, if you want to be successful in your life.

In today’s world situation, when people see the interview of a successful person or his/her lifestyle on the social media and after that, they become so motivated they start the various project but after 1 or 2-week condition will be the same, disappointed, depressed and purposeless and in search of new motivation by the new person. and this process will continue.

So have you noticed that for doing something in your constantly you have required other thing instead of only motivation and that’s self-motivation which is inspired from someone life but have to work on your life purposes?

People say that they become distracted easily because they have to do something which they don’t like to do, if you are also having the same problem try one thing, do the work that you like most for 1 complete week, and after 1 week you will realize you also bored from this work. This is the nature of human beings that we will become bored after some time.

So the question is how we can work constantly, and for that difficult task self motivation is one most important thing, because whatever we are doing in our life we become bored from that work where self motivation will help us, there is always profit or loss, ups and downs takes place in the work, businesses or whatever we are doing for living, but with the help of self motivation, we will overcome these feeling and continue in our work.and one day will come that we will achieved what we dream in our life.

Try to find out motivation in your life and do hard work in order to uplift life from your present situation. if you are only trying to change the conditions day by day, one day you will definitely find out your true success.

So be happy in your life, and try to find out the real reason behind your work, when you have that particular reason, you will never distract from anything.
