160 years ago, on this day, July 18, Kadambini Ganguly was born in a Bengali family in Bhagalpur, Bihar. As a child, she was rebellious with regard to sexism and patriarchy and was very hard-working as a student.
Picture of Dr. Kadambini Ganguly.
During her childhood, she had witnessed that in her area many women used to die without treatment as women could not get proper treatment because all doctors were males and Indian social culture didn’t approve a male doctor treating a female patient. From here, she dreamt of becoming a doctor during her childhood.
However, things didn’t happen according to her. She was married off at young age and thus she thought her dreams would go down the gutter. But it was then her husband who supported her in every walk of her life. She did her schooling partly at Banga Mahila Vidyalaya and partly at Bethune School. In 1878, she became the first female to pass the University of Calcutta entrance examination.
Within few years, she became one of the first few female graduates in the country alongside Chandramukhi Basu. When she wanted to study medicine, she was denied admission by University of Calcutta as the university wasn’t allowing female students back then. Dwarkanath Ganguly, Kadambini Ganguly’s husband challenged this patriarchal rule and in 1883 Kadambini Ganguly was the first female to take admission in Calcutta Medical College.
Kadambini Ganguly received a scholarship of two years and in 1886 she was awarded the GBMC award and thus making her the first female to have a degree in Western Medicine in the whole of South Asia.
It is also important to note that during that time people didn’t approve a female getting education and as a result she received strong opposition regarding her academical choices from conservatives even from her neighbourhood and relatives.
Bangabashi, a magazine of that time that was run by the then conservatives also called her a “whore” and this obviously didn’t go well with the Ganguly couple. Dwarkanath Ganguly legally filed a court case against the magazine and this resulted in 6 months jail term for the editor of the magazine.
Kadambini Ganguly also went abroad for her studies and got her further education in Edinburgh College of Medicines for Women. She quickly earned three different diploma degrees. Soon, she became popular in entire South Asia and Europe. Her name became so popular that the then King of Nepal invited her to treat his ailing mother.
Kadambini Ganguly had even advocated for social change in India and especially for women. It was due to her efforts that Bethune College in Kolkata added the Fine Arts course in their college. She was also one of the six female delegates to fifth session in Indian National Congress and even organised Women’s Conference in 1906 in Calcutta.
Authors of that time described Kadambini Ganguly as one of the “greatest” and the “most accomplished woman” of her time. And truly, all of us agree to it. Because of courageous women like her, so many women in the world must have got inspired to achieve their dreams. Kadambini Ganguly will always remain immortal in all her hearts.

Individual Differences :
Intelligence :
High scores on tests of general knowledge tend to also score highly on intelligence tests. IQ has been found to robustly predict general knowledge scores even after accounting for difference in age, and five factor model personality tarits. However, many general knowledge tests are designed to create a normal distribution of answers, creating a bell shaped curve.
General knowledge is also moderately associated with verbal ability, though only weakly or not at all with numerical and spatial ability. As with crystallized intelligence, general knowledge has been found to increase with age.
Long term semantic memory :
General knowledge is stored as semantic memory. Most semantic memory is preserved through old age, though there are deficts in retrieval of certain specific words correlated with aging. In addition, stress or various emotional levels can negatively affect semantic nemory retrieval.
Personality :
People high in general knowledge tend to highly open to new experiences and in typical intellectual engagement. The relationship between openness to experieñce and general knowledge remains robust even when IQ is taken into account. People high in openness may be more motivated to engage in intellectual pursuits that increase their knowledge. Relationships between general knowledge and other five factor model traits tend to be weak and inconsistent. Though one study found that extraversion and neutroticism were negatively correlated with general knowledge, others found that they were unrelated.
Predictor of achievement :
A number of studies have assesses whether performance on a general knowledge test can predict achievement in particular areas, namely in academics, proofreading and creativity.
Academic achievement :
General knowledge has been found to predict exam results in a study of Britush schoolchildren. The study examined congnitive ability and personality predictors of exam performance and found that general knowledge was positively correlated with GCSE english, mathematics, and overall exam results. General knowledge test scores presicted exam results, even after controlling for IQ, five factor model personality traits, and learning styles.
Proofreading :
General knowledge has been found to robustly predict proofreading skills in univeristy students. A study found that proofreading had a larger correlation with general knowledge than with general intelligence, verbal reasoning, or openness to experience. In a multiple regression analysis using general knowledge, general intelligence, verbal reasoning, five factor personality traits, amd learning styles as predictors, only general knowledge was a significant predictor.
Creativity
General knowledge has been found to have weak associations with measures of creativity. In a study examining contributions of personality and intelligence to creativity, general knowledge was positively correlated with tests of divergent thinking, but was unrelated to a bigraphical measure of creative achievemnet, self- rated creativity, or a composite measure of creativity. The realtionship between general knowledge and divergent thinking became non- significant when controlling for fluid intelleigence.
Game shows and Quizzes :
Many game shows use general knowledge questions for entertainment purpose. Game shows such as who wants to be a Millionarie? and fiteen to one centre their questions on general knowledge, while other shows focus questions more on specific subjects. Some show ask questions both on specific subjects and on general knowledge .
“IF YOU THINK YOU ARE BETTER NOW, DON’T FORGET THERE IS SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE BEST THAN YOU.”
In life we always have reasons and excuses to hide our mistakes and weakness but, when it comes to our personality and lifestyles we always had new ideas to be best. Reinventing does’nt mean to change your life for society or people but, to change your weakness and to improve your life, habits and living for yourself.
IT’s NEVER LATE TO BE BETTER THAN WHAT YOU ARE…
There are people with a reason that ‘we are happy for what we are, we don’t have to change ourself for others.’ Yes, I admire their thoughts and confidence and I am one of them only. With time i realised it’s wrong to change yourself for others but, there is nothing wrong in improving ourself to be a better personality. There is difference between changing and improving and everyone has to know and realise it sooner or later. You don’t have to be one of ‘them’, you have to better own self and choose your way to be better. Just like a fis moving out of crowd to another pond for own survival and betterment.
AN EMPTY START IS BETTER THAN STICKING TO CROWD…
I am not asking you to leave your society and move alone but, to start a step to improve your bad habits, weakness, persona and life to be better and trust me you will find new ‘You’ and there will people wanting to be like you. If improving yourself is better than changing yourself so do not hesitate to take a step. Explore now and start a day with one thought to improve yourself so that, you can reinvent the hidden better ‘You’.
The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery is a all time classic in children’s literature. And yet, after reading it, a part of me felt that there could seldom be books as beautiful as this one for any age group. It starts with the buildup of a character of a narrator who loves childhood and treats their intellect superior to those of adult. From the very first page, a reader will laugh with the author and commend him for his though process. And suddenly switches to the backdrop of a war – the second world war to be specific. There he meets a young boy – a boy not more than 12 and clad in his own idiosyncratic behaviour – childish behaviour. This boy is our little prince.
The story deals with love, life, friendship, knowledge, curiosity and death – all as the prince sees them. And it is exactly this part of the story where the reader is lost with the author. Admiration, adoration, love and tears – all move with the prince, a character so beautiful that he cannot die in the heart if the one who has read that that book.
It is a small book and in that small novella is a plethora of beautiful and innocent lines that are bound to steal your heart away or to quote the book,
“What makes the desert beautiful,’ said the little prince, ‘is that somewhere it hides a well…”
Make friends with the little prince and whenever you shall see a star, that one meaningless star will have a laugh or a smile for you each time.
Magahi betel leaf (Paan) is an variety of betel grown in south Bihar region and mostly in Aurangabad, Gaya and Nalanda districts. This paan, is about 3.5 to 9.5 inches in size. It’s non-fibrous, sweeter, tastier and the soft.it got GI tagged in 2018 alongwith Jardalu mango and katarni rice
Magahi paan was popular even during ancient times. It is claimed that prince Vijai Mal was fond of Magahi paan and it is mentioned in the 1884 book of GA Grierson, an Irish administrator and linguist in British India. Several other references had been cited in the journal to establish Magahi paan being an exclusive produce of Magadh region
Magahi paan is sown during March-May each year, with leaves plucked during January-March. Each plant can give 40-60 leaves, yielding 500 dholis per year per katha .Every year, farmers have to sow new plants. When everything goes well, farmers can earn Rs 70,000-1,00,000 from one katha of land.
Problems encountered by betel leaf (paan) farmers
Betel leaf (paan) plants damaged due to cold
There is lack of insurance or MSP facility to the farmers. it is highly susceptible to bad weather conditions and is classified as horticulture, not agriculture product. Money is paid in installments by the buyer and Sometimes money is paid after one and a half years to the farmers.
Number of paan farmers is on the decline because of lack of any state help to ease their high cost of production, as the plant requires an artificial conservatory to grow.
Future ahead
A tie up between Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) and Bihar Agricultural University (sabaur) is currently under process. Plan is to export GI tagged products Makhana, Jardalu Mango, Shear Rice, Litchi and Magahi Pan.
Let’s hope the things gets better and government policies should be made and implemented in a way keeping the problems faced by farmers and their needs at centre. Then, only these betel growing farmers will get benefitted from those government benefits.

Now, what’s interesting about Cowboy Dinner Tree’s GMB listening is they don’t even have ownership of it. It isn’t owned by anyone.
Same with their Yelp, Facebook, etc. Even their website is very web 1.0.

How to add your business to Google My Business
You’ll have about 3 different scenarios to choose from:
Brand new business: Select Scenario 1 if your business is less than 6 months old.
Listing exists, unclaimed: If your business has been around longer than 6 months, start with Scenario 2 (but you may end up back at Scenario 1).
Listing exists, claimed: If you claimed your listing some time ago but don’t remember the login, the email is no longer active, or another person owns your listing, go with Scenario 3.
Scenario 1: Brand new business
Congratulations! Let’s get you on the path to getting you a Google My Business listing.
Step 2: Sign in to a gmail account that you own. This is important: remember what email address you are using here. This gmail account will be the Primary owner of the listing. Write it down on a post-it or take a screenshot if you need to.
Step 3: Once you have signed in, you’ll get taken to a page like the one below. Click on the Get Started button.
Step 4: Start typing in the name of your business. Google My Business will attempt to locate a listing but since your business is new, you likely don’t have one yet. When you spot the option to “create a business with this name,” click it, then click on Next.
Step 5: Now we need to choose a Business category that best matches your business. For our example, coffee shops are the best matching category. If there are multiple categories that match your business, you’ll be able to add additional categories after your listing has been verified. Once you’ve chosen your category, click Next.
Step 6: Your next move depends on what type of business you operate. If your business is a brick and mortar, then the answer is yes. If you are a service provider (you go to your customers) and don’t have a physical storefront with signage then you will select no. If you are a service provider AND have a physical storefront with signage, then choose yes. Once you’ve made your choice, click Next.
Step 7: Enter your address, then click Next if you answered yes in the previous step. If you chose no in the previous step, you will be asked to enter your service area. Once finished, click Next.
Step 8: If you are displaying your address, you might be asked to point to the exact spot where your business is located. Once finished, click Next. If you are not showing your address, you will be asked to provide your business phone number and website.
Step 9: If you’re showing your address, you’ll be asked if you also serve customers outside of your location. If you are not showing your address, you’ll be asked if you want to get updates and recommendations from Google. Choose your answer, then click Next.
Step 10: If you’re showing your address, you’ll be asked to add your phone number and website. If you are not showing your address, skip to Step 10. Once you’ve added your website address and phone number, click Next.
Step 11: Time to finish and start the verification process! Select “Finish.”
Step 12: If you are showing your address, you’ll be prompted to verify by postcard with an option to add a contact name. If you are hiding your address, you’ll be prompted to add an address for verification purposes. Your address will not be shown but is needed to verify your business.
Step 13: Once you receive the postcard (usually within 5 business days), log back into your listing to verify your listing.
Scenario 2: Listing exists, unclaimed
If your business has been around for at least 6 months, you might already have a Google My Business listing that was automatically created.
Go to Google Maps and perform a search for your business name. If a listing shows up and you see “Claim this business,” then claim it! If you see your listing and there’s a label that says ‘Manage this listing,” then head to Scenario 3.
If you have the option to claim the listing, you’re going to be asked to make sure the information is up to date, then you’ll go through the verification process.
Scenario 3: Listing exists, claimed
Maybe a former employee, an email address you don’t have access to anymore, or a former agency that claimed the listing on your behalf. Whatever the reason is, you don’t have access to your Google My Business listing.
Go to Google and perform a search for your business. Within the panel, you’ll see ‘Suggest an edit • Own this business?’ Select “own this business.”
Google will show the first 2 characters of the email address that owns the listing. Sometimes, this may spark your memory with the email address that you used years ago to claim the listing.
If you don’t know the email address, click on the Request Access button.
More often than not, you’re going to check the box to share your info with the current owners and managers of the listing.
For level of access, choose Ownership.
Your relationship to the business is likely going to be owner since you’re requesting ownership of the listing.
Provide your name and phone number, then submit.
After you submit the form, the current owner of the listing will get an email that asks them if the request is valid. You’ll also receive a confirmation email. Keep the confirmation email.
The current owner of the listing has 3 days to respond to your request. You can check the status of your request by clicking on the link within the confirmation email.
If your request is approved, you’ll get an email confirmation and can then start managing the profile.
If your request is denied, you’re going to need to contact Google My Business support via the Help Center.
Alternatively, you can get in touch with GMB Support on Twitter. It might take them a few days to respond, but they’ve been helpful in the past.
If the current listing owner does not respond within 3 days, you’ll get the option to claim the listing. Sign into g oogle.com/business and you should see an option to verify the listing.
Once you get access to the listing, the first thing you will want to do is make sure that anyone who should have access to the listing does. Since you are now the primary owner of the listing, you can add or remove users from having access.
Next Steps
Once you’ve created or updated your listing, be sure to stay on top of it! Listing management is an important part of ensuring the information around your business is useful and accurate.
Set a predetermined time to check in on your listing, try a few marketing strategies to connect with your audience, and keep an eye out for any user interactions with your listing. You can also use listing management tools to take the guesswork out of managing your listing.
Are you a person lacking confidence and hope in everything? Trying hard to be an optimistic person? It’s very easy. Let’s see how to be optimistic in everything through this article.
WHO IS A PESSIMIST?
A pessimist is a person who thinks the worst side of anything or they have a thought that they can’t do it. These pessimistic thoughts came from fear to do something. They often focus on the negative side or an unfavorable situation rather than thinking about what is going right. A pessimistic person is more likely to notice problems or it may cause anxiety to them. These types of people may have depression because of this. If we want to know clearly, it is a personality trait. These pessimistic persons wouldn’t believe anyone because they don’t know whether those persons have good intentions. To put it simply, they don’t believe anyone firmly.
According to research, pessimism is associated with the right hemisphere of the brain and the lower self-esteem was also associated with the right side of the brain. Though pessimism is a perspective that affects the general worldview, it is not an unchangeable trait that can’t be changed throughout the lifetime. A pessimistic person can also be optimistic like others.
” A pessimist is an optimist in full possession of the facts “.
– Arthur Schopenhauer
COME ON; LET US BE OPTIMISTIC!
Till now, we saw about pessimism; Being optimistic is a wonderful thought that make us feel self-confident and self- aware. As we saw, pessimism is connected to the right side of the brain and optimism is connected to the left side of the brain. But we should know that both the right and left brains are necessary to maintain a healthy state. Yes, both optimism and pessimism are related to each other and necessary to maintain a healthy life. But sometimes, the pessimistic thoughts may come upon the optimistic thoughts. The only thing is we should control our pessimistic thoughts.
Just follow few tips and automatically be an optimistic person. Yeah, that’s for sure.
First, learn to be grateful. Being grateful makes you both optimistic and have a great personality. Even if it is a small thing, be grateful to the one who helped you. For example, if one helped you during your difficult times, don’t forget their help when you reached some peaks in your career or life. So, grateful and optimistic feel makes you feel better than anything.
Always believe that you can do it even when no one can! In this case, being optimistic helps you to achieve it. Just believe and move towards your goal. Let me say myself as an example, I love photography and I participate in many inter-collegiate competitions. Till now, I didn’t win any prizes, but I continue to pursue my dream. And I hope one day I will be able to win the prize. Just trim yourself to be a better and confident individual.
Don’t think that it is impossible. When the word impossible reaches your mind or heart you can’t do anything, don’t allow it. Anything is possible if you are very optimistic and confident. Think about it, if anyone can do your work, why are you here? Just ask this yourself and find yourself in yourself.
If there is some problem, just look into a solution rather than blowing it into a big volcano. Be calm and shuttle, think optimistically, and seek solutions. It will be good for you and your loved ones.
Then, focus on the things which are under your control. Don’t look into things that are out of your control. Because those things can disturb you and make you a pessimist sometimes.
Lastly, love fearlessly and no one can stop you in this. Yes, pursue your love optimistically. Your love can either be your career or dream or anything just pursue it optimistically. And learn to see beauty in small things. For example, none of us would say,’ I don’t like a child ‘ because we forget ourselves when we are with them. This is an optimistic feel. If there is a smile on that child’s face without any doubt we will be happy, Right? That’s it. This tells you how optimistic you are!!
Both optimism and pessimism are needed in our life but they should be kept at an equal level to maintain a healthy and a happy life.
As we all know that ” Linked in ” corporation is one of the leading networking website which functions on describing user created profiles with their work experience, education and training, skills, and a personal photo so that users can find jobs, people and business opportunities recommended by someone in one’s contact network. Users can save jobs that they would like to apply for. Users also have the ability to follow different companies.
In the above para we discussed about the working of linked in corporation with user provided data but we can understand it’s business marketing strategies and it’s growth from initial stage in a clear manner when we see linked in as a business model.
Linked in was found on may 5, 2003 at mountain view, California, US by Reid Hoffman. Initially the company started getting it’s financing through the help of venture capitalist company and later it struggled to get investors in IPO but at the year of 2011 LinkedIn priced its IPO at $45 per share giving the company valuation of $4.5 billion but at the year of 2016 Microsoft announced the valuation of LinkedIn for $196 per share which in all cash transaction valued as $26.2 billion and acquired the company.
CHALLENGES THAT ARE ACCEPTED BY LINKEDIN :
As a networking site the first and foremost challenge faced by LinkedIn is data encryption of user along with the data encryption LinkedIn should also concentrate on following terms:
PRIORITISING LINKEDIN GROUPS: LinkedIn contains many community groups with managers to share/discuss ideas for improving their work/business. So, they have to arrange the groups with out arising any type of ambiguity.
CONSTANTLY CHANGING THE WAY OF ADVERTISING : We get too many irrelevant ads when we use LinkedIn. Sometimes, getting non-sink advertisements also creates a negative impact on the site. So, that it should constantly change the patterns of presenting adds with new algorithms to avoid negative footprints on site.
ARTICULATING THE DORMANT PROFILES: LinkedIn says it’s growing, but there are many inactive accounts that should be removed after a reasonable period of time by keeping the active users accounts effectively and let inactive users go by the wayside.
MAKING LINKEDIN FROM “HAVE TO” TO “WANT TO” FOR BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS: Many people are on LinkedIn because they feel that they “have to” be there for expanding their network but very few professionals LOVE logging in to their LinkedIn. So, to attract more people on internet then LinkedIn must use competitive content on it’s pulse.
MARKETING STRATEGIES APPLIED BY LINKEDIN:
LinkedIn used Traditional marketing strategy at its initial stage of growth. LinkedIn approached it’s users through branding it’s company with chocolates. Similarly, LinkedIn adopted several marketing strategies on internet for improving it’s sustainability.
Most of the business organisations put a great deal of effort into creating the perfect website, and invest a significant portion of the marketing budget on curating the ultimate customer experience. So for that purpose LinkedIn has created virtual circle of influence by combining LinkedIn marketing and remarketing on your website. In order to attract efficient business professionals LinkedIn promoted paid marketing system which can afford a wide variety of ad formats and business targeting opportunities.
LinkedIn provides sponsored content, sponsored messaging, Text adds and Dynamic adds which are considered as native ads that will appear in the viewer’s LinkedIn feed and it tends to be customer centric with helping it’s customers on getting control over their business marketing.
Overview of the company
One of the main reason for it’s sustainable marketing growth is, LinkedIn seamlessly fills in the fields and provides you with information it already knows about your prospect. The up side of this capability is that it reduces the user’s submission time, and also diminishes their friction to signing up for whatever you are offering to the opposite person .It also target the customised accounts for the profile that is provided by user and also allows you to run account based marketing campaigns, powered by LinkedIn data.
Finally, LinkedIn is particularly well-suited for personal branding and which actively manages one’s image and unique value to position oneself for career opportunities. LinkedIn has evolved from being a mere platform for job searchers into a social network which allows users a chance to create a personal brand. LinkedIn’s constant adoption and application of new technologies and new strategies in market has improved it’s standards and sustainability in the competitive corporate field.
Not everything is supposed to become something beautiful and long lasting. Sometimes people come into your life to show you what is right and what is wrong, to show you who you can be, to teach you to love yourself, to make you feel better for a little while. Not everyone is going to stay forever and we still have to keep on going.
We may feel we weren’t bad, it may just be our destiny or the bad timing we had.
Why is the movie considered as Hindi Cinema’s first teenage love story?
1970s ‘India’ witnessed lots of socio-economic happenings like unemployment, poverty and corruption and so were the plots of most of the movies of that era based on classism, social injustice, divide between rich and poor and so on. Although the genre “love story” was mostly ignored, the film “Bobby” in 1973 came out as an exception. Directed by Raj Kapoor and produced and distributed by R.K. Films with Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia in lead roles, the film is altogether a masterpiece. Not only is it considered as a benchmark of Hindi Romantic Cinema but it also completely redefined the genre, thus breaking the earlier notions of typical family drama love stories.
Film Poster of Bobby (1973).
The movie begins with six year old Raj, son of a rich business person who is sent to boarding school leaving behind his governess, Mrs Braganza in grief. After completing his studies in boarding school, Raj (played by Rishi Kapoor) returns for his 18th Birthday party where his eyes are stunned seeing a girl in a white gown, who’s apparently his governess’ granddaughter, Bobby Braganza (played by Dimple Kapadia). The next day, Raj visits Mrs.Braganza’s home, who’s in a better economic condition than before and gets to meet Bobby. The two subsequently develop a friendship and liking towards each other. Not very long before they had their first break up following a misunderstanding at Raj’s friend’s party which they sort out later during Bobby’s Kashmir school trip.
Slowly, both of their parents come to know about their affair and Braganzas are invited to Raj’s home for a dinner party by his father. However seeing the social condition of Braganzas, Raj’s father brutally mocks them leading Braganzas shattered. He doesn’t stop at that and visits Braganza’s residence to again insult them by providing them money to get rid of the Raj and Bobby’s relationship. He then fixes Raj’s marriage with another rich businessperson’s disabled daughter without telling Raj. Raj, however, runs away and this time Raj’s family along with police accuse Bobby’s father with ‘kidnapping’. Both Raj and Bobby’s family chase the couple and with no option left Raj and Bobby decide to jump in the river but are rescued by each other’s dad. The film has a “happy ending” with unification of two families.
How this film brought a change in the genre and why it remains a trendsetter?
It is probably Bobby, which introduced teenage romance in Hindi Cinema. Before this film, love story in the context of Hindi Cinema was only restricted to a grown up adult man and woman mostly in their late 20s who fall in love and marry or how typical Indian families indulge in arrange marriage and how the couple start loving each other after marriage. Bobby was one of the first Hindi films which showed teenage romance in a very entertaining and engaging way. There is an entire song in the movie titled “Hum tum ek kamre me band” (English: We both are locked in a room) where it is shown how the young couple (Bobby and Raj) accidentally get locked in a room, which proves that the movie was way ahead of its time. The film is also known for its exquisite closets varying from fairy tale gowns to dreamy jackets. Shot in spectacular locations of Goa, Mumbai and Kashmir, it was all soothing and added more to its glory.
The film was specifically made for the youth and Bobby being the debut film of both Dimple Kapadia and Rishi Kapoor added more to its freshness. The film had so much of impact on youth that during that time 14-15 year olds used to rebel against their parents to find true love and eventually the film became “template” for teen romances in India. The audience and Indian public were so fascinated with the movie’s character Bobby that many girls born in India during that time were named “Bobby”. Interestingly, this movie’s plot was replicated consequently in several other romantic Hindi films for over three decades.
The typical “happy ending” stories as mentioned earlier also became a trend ever since. Almost every popular love story in Hindi Cinema had a similar plot thereafter and that too in a proper sequence- first romance of a teen couple from different economic classes, followed by severe family restrictions and finally the climax- either happy or mournful. These narrative elements like family restrictions and classism became genre conventions ever since the release of Bobby.
Anything that changes any natural process is considered to be bad. Supplements used to increase body metabolism by artificial processes are also not good for health, but not all.
What are supplements ?
Supplements include vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids and herbs. They are marketed in many different forms like in tablets, capsules, pills or other forms.
It is a less known fact that there is no safety testing of the supplements by FDA. There is no such rule that the potential adverse effects be mentioned on the supplements.
Many people using supplements since decades, don’t even know about the harmful effects of supplements. They just use in the hope of maybe curing some allergies or minor diseases. But supplements are not always safe and beneficial.
Some multivitamins are not known to cause health risks but it’s better to be cautious. Many supplements contain some ingredients that may cause severe biological effects. They may complicate your health any lead to harmful effects.
Things to know before using supplements
Although some supplements come from natural sources, that doesn’t mean they are safe to use.
Some supplements may contain many contaminants like drugs or chemicals that make them of poor quality.
Do not at any cost combine any supplements.
It is also advised to not take supplements along with medicines.
Do not substitute supplements for the prescribed medicines.
Do not consume supplements in a large quantity.
Always speak with your healthcare provider before taking any supplements.
When we think about how we should prevent and punish criminals on the question of whether criminals are born or made. We first should understand the behaviour traits of criminals because personality is the major factor in many kinds of behaviour, one of which is criminal behaviour. To determine what makes a criminal to become as “a criminal,” we must understand his/her personality.
Are criminals born or made? This question has been crushed the brains of psychologists, sociologists, and criminologists for many years at several incidents and efforts have been made to establish the nature of criminality. The born or made argument, known as the “nature versus nurture” debate, arises the question, whether criminality is due to genetic factors, and therefore unavoidable, or whether it is the product of social, situational, environmental surroundings, and other external factors.
Criminal behaviour has been increasing virtually throughout the every part of the world because such behaviour may be passed on from father to son and the genetically deprived criminal under class is breeding faster than the rest of society, he argues. Majorly, the psychological factors which inhibit criminal behaviour are fear and conscience.
Psychologists after many experiments they came up with an opinion that criminal behaviour lie in genetics and as well as environmental situations but it doesn’t mean that every criminal will posses with same type of behavioural traits. According to the population census of India the children who were born to thug is used to be recorded as a thug, this was registered under the criminal tribe act(1870). This act resembles that there is a chance of getting criminal behaviour if the child was born to a thug.
In these days we are observing that even some of the common people are also becoming criminals with out having any past crime background. So, this is the point where we have to think about the impact of society or the environment on the criminal. Guys, a criminal is also a human who posses all the common things as we all have but the only difference is that the perspective and the surrounding where a criminal has risen.
Most of the teenagers and children has a high tendencies to learn from their surroundings. Petty crimes committed by children may appear to be a tale to friends who may also be involved the same for pleasurable. Over duration of time, this behaviour may prove to become a permanent thing. Peer pressure is mainly clear in the slums where houses close to one another. Among other factors, this explains why crime rate is on the higher on average in poor vicinity.
According to study, families in inner cities are facing many challenges. There is extremely huge number of single parent families where mostly the father is missing. This impacts the children in those families a lot especially boys need a father figure in the family to help them grow and learn how to control their manhood. Surroundings around a person influences a person a lot as like an old proverb says that wicked group damage decent principles. There are several reasons behind a person to become as a criminal that may be because of his financial standards or because of family issues or sometimes because of being as victim also.
Now a days we see many people who are at higher positions in their career are also becoming as a criminals. This type of scenarios clearly show us that having lots of degrees in hand can’t stop the people in turning them as a criminals. The main reason behind these scenarios are lack of essential values and ethics which are missing in todays education system and this effect is adversely creating a negative roots on society.

Before learning the programming language, let’s understand what is language?
What is Language?
Language is a mode of communication that is used to share ideas, opinions with each other. For example, if we want to teach someone, we need a language that is understandable by both communicators.
What is a Programming Language?
A programming language is a computer language that is used by programmers (developers) to communicate with computers. It is a set of instructions written in any specific language ( C, C++, Java, Python) to perform a specific task.
A programming language is mainly used to develop desktop applications, websites, and mobile applications.
Types of programming language
1. Low-level programming language
Low-level language is machine-dependent (0s and 1s) programming language. The processor runs low- level programs directly without the need of a compiler or interpreter, so the programs written in low-level language can be run very fast.
Low-level language is further divided into two parts –
i. Machine Language
Machine language is a type of low-level programming language. It is also called as machine code or object code. Machine language is easier to read because it is normally displayed in binary or hexadecimal form (base 16) form. It does not require a translator to convert the programs because computers directly understand the machine language programs.
The advantage of machine language is that it helps the programmer to execute the programs faster than the high-level programming language.
ii. Assembly Language
Assembly language (ASM) is also a type of low-level programming language that is designed for specific processors. It represents the set of instructions in a symbolic and human-understandable form. It uses an assembler to convert the assembly language to machine language.
The advantage of assembly language is that it requires less memory and less execution time to execute a program.
2. High-level programming language
High-level programming language (HLL) is designed for developing user-friendly software programs and websites. This programming language requires a compiler or interpreter to translate the program into machine language (execute the program).
The main advantage of a high-level language is that it is easy to read, write, and maintain.
High-level programming language includes Python, Java, JavaScript, PHP, C#, C++, Objective C, Cobol, Perl, Pascal, LISP, FORTRAN, and Swift programming language.
A high-level language is further divided into three parts –
i. Procedural Oriented programming language
Procedural Oriented Programming (POP) language is derived from structured programming and based upon the procedure call concept. It divides a program into small procedures called routines or functions.
Procedural Oriented programming language is used by a software programmer to create a program that can be accomplished by using a programming editor like IDE, Adobe Dreamweaver, or Microsoft Visual Studio.
The advantage of POP language is that it helps programmers to easily track the program flow and code can be reused in different parts of the program.
The advantage of POP language is that it helps programmers to easily track the program flow and code can be reused in different parts of the program.
Example: C, FORTRAN, Basic, Pascal, etc.
ii. Object-Oriented Programming language
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) language is based upon the objects. In this programming language, programs are divided into small parts called objects. It is used to implement real-world entities like inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction, etc in the program to makes the program resusable, efficient, and easy-to-use.
The main advantage of object-oriented programming is that OOP is faster and easier to execute, maintain, modify, as well as debug.
Note: Object-Oriented Programming language follows a bottom-up approach.
Example: C++, Java, Python, C#, etc.
iii. Natural language
Natural language is a part of human languages such as English, Russian, German, and Japanese. It is used by machines to understand, manipulate, and interpret human’s language. It is used by developers to perform tasks such as translation, automatic summarization, Named Entity Recognition (NER), relationship extraction, and topic segmentation.
The main advantage of natural language is that it helps users to ask questions in any subject and directly respond within seconds.
3. Middle-level programming language
Middle-level programming language lies between the low-level programming language and high-level programming language. It is also known as the intermediate programming language and pseudo-language.
A middle-level programming language’s advantages are that it supports the features of high-level programming, it is a user-friendly language, and closely related to machine language and human language.
Example: C, C++, language
Most commonly used Programming Language
As we all know, the programming language makes our life simpler. Currently, all sectors (like education, hospitals, banks, automobiles, and more ) completely depend upon the programming language.
There are dozens of programming languages used by the industries. Some most widely used programming languages are given below –
