How did the Earth come into being??

A whooping 7.9 billion people, 8.7 million discovered eukaryotic species and an estimated 1 trillion microbes- How did it all came into being? How did our Earth or even better, the solar system or the whole universe came into being?

So, it all began about 13.8 billion years ago. There existed a single point, a minute, hot and really dense point which violently exploded-‘The Big Bang’, and it is how everything came into being- Matter, Energy space, universe, stars, solar system, me, you-everything. After the explosion took place, it expanded into what we today call the universe. And, what’s more interesting is the fact that it is still expanding, and this is how the scientists came to believe that it all began with a big bang.

Scientists divide the period after the big bang into 2 era-

  1. Radiation era
  2. Matter era

Radiation era

The period between 10^(-43) seconds (after the explosion took place)-the Planck era(here, the current laws of physics do not apply), to about 30,000 years after the big bang is referred to as the radiation era. During this period, the temperature of the atmosphere was soo high that there was no distinction between matter and radiation ,or even better, no matter existed.

It is divided into 7 era or epoch-

  1. Grand unification epoch- Named for the unification of 3 grand forces of nature- Electro-magnetic forces, Weak forces, Strong nuclear forces. With a temperature greater than 1029 K, it began 10−43 s after the big bang. At the end of this epoch, the strong nuclear force broke away from the other two.
  2. Inflationary epoch- With a temperature greater than 1032 K, it began 10−36 s after the big bang. As the name suggests, the universe rapidly expanded in this epoch. The universe, ta this time had electrons, quarks and antiquarks.
  3. Electroweak epoch- Here, now all the 4 forces of nature have split off. Temperature- 10^20 K and time after big bang- 10^(-32)s.
  4. Quark epoch- Temperature here is 10^16K and 10^-12 s have passed since the big bang. All of the ingredients required to form subatomic particles were present but the universe still was too hot and dense.
  5. Hadron Epoch- Temperature- 10^10 K and Temperature-10^-6 s. The universe has not finally cooled down enough for subatomic particles to form and hence, quarks bind to form protons and neutrons.
  6. Lepton epoch- Temperature- 10^ 12 K and finally, about1 sec have passed since the big bang.
  7. Nuclear epoch- Temperature-10^9 K and 100 s approximately have passed since the big bang.

In these last two epoch, when the universe has cooled down quite a lot, the protons and neutrons fuse together to form the very first chemical elements- Hydrogen and Helium. And now that our universe is capable of forming elements, it brings us to the end of radiation era and the matter era begins.

Matter Era

Matter era includes 3 epoch that spread over billions of years and include the formation of our galaxy, solar system and even the present day.

  1. Atomic epoch- With the temperature of 3000 K and time after big bang- 50,000 years, this epic marks the beginning of attachment of electrons to nuclei. This process is known as recombination.
  2. Galactic epoch- Now, 200 million years have passed since the formation of our universe. With the ability of universe to now form Hydrogen and Helium molecules, the universe is dotted with atomic clouds. Within the clouds, due to gravity, clusters were formed which later led to the formation of galaxies.
  3. Stellar epoch- 3 billion years have now passed. Within those clusters of clouds, now stars will be formed. Stars begin their lives as proto-stars. These are formed as a result of gravitational forces between particles of dust and gas and heat is generated due to friction and collision. When the proto-star becomes extremely hot, the process of thermonuclear fusion starts taking place. This is how stars generate heat and electricity. This heat within the clouds convert the already exiting elements into all others that are currently known to humankind. When stars burn themselves and are destroyed in explosion know as supernova, it destabilizes the heat cloud, which then begins to rearrange itself in the shape of a flattened disc. At the center a proto-star forms (eg.- our sun). The clumps of dust are flash heated and form chrondules that later from planetesimals by cohesion. These planetesimals then, later accrete to form what we call today as planets.

And this is how our solar system was formed about 4.5 billion years ago. It is located in the Milky Way galaxy’s Orion Star Cluster and has about 8 planets with a total of 63 moons. The inner 4 planets (also known as terrestrial planets) are separated form the outer 4(also known as jovian planets) by a belt of asteroids. Terrestrial planets are known as such because they are made of rocky material, have solid surface, do nor have rings and are relatively small. Earth, among these, is the only one to have a moon.

The jovian planets, on the other hand, have multiple moons, support ring system, have no solid surface and are immense in size. The Oort Cloud, a collection of icy debris, marks the edge of our solar system as the gravitational and physical influence of sun diminishes .

This is how our solar system and our Earth were formed. Now, can our solar system end? If yes, then how and by when? It’s a question for a later time.

Tips to get through a Bad day

Not everyday is a perfect day. Not everything will be perfect as you think. One day will be the best day, you accomplish all your targets and will have a happy ending. Another day will be worst, every plan fails and every second a new problem arises. What do you do if your day is going rough? How you handle yourself if you get angry and irritated by everything that’s going around. You can only wish for a restart button. Better thing is to try to handle everything with peace even though you are loosing it. Dragging yourself towards positivity when life is trying to push you back, will be a good strategy to follow for your own good. You can try these things if you are having a unpleasant day.

go for a walk

To get things out of your head, you can choose a lonely walk. Just walk by a roadside or in a park, whatever is good for you. Just get out of the place which is making you feel unpleasant. If you can, just go for a picnic. watching the outside world will make you realize that you are not the only one with struggles. You may get inspired by some stranger or the busy world, will take out the problem from your head.

just breath in

The day may get hectic and bring you discomfort. When you feel as if you are inside a trap, sit back and try to relax. Try to concentrate on your breathing, may be some pranayama, and take a deep breath. Concentrating on your breath relaxes you and shifts your attention from the tension. This may be is a very short term solution, but this will help you rethink and think better.

get a treat for yourself

Why to have treat only when you are happy. Get a treat to make yourself happy. Grab some coffee or get a pastry or a cake. Even you can bake for yourself. Make your favorite drink or visit your favorite restaurant.

just write it out

What’s bothering you all day? let that flow out through your words inside a journal. Write about the whole day. Write about all the reasons you think of, for the bad mood. Write about all your feelings. Let them be stay inside a book rather be inside your head. This will help you have a better perspective about the things. You will get to analyze what went wrong and what you should do now. It will help you take better decisions.

let music takeover you

If you are a person who loves music, what is better to deal with the bad day other than music! Just put your headphones on and let the world be on mute. Or just sing for yourself. Play any instrument if you can. Sing as if nobody around you. Dance on your favorite song. Listen to all motivational songs and cheer yourself up.

talk to the people you love

Why do you have bestfriends! call them. Talk to your buddy who will complain along with you about the bad life. Talk and laugh through your bad fortune. Or they will help you get out of the problem. Talk to your family. They may not have a best solution ready in hand, but talking to them will make you feel lighter.

trust you hobby

Your hobby will be a best partner. Just read a book or cook. Clean your house or draw a bird. Watch a movie or a fun Vedio. They will help you get out of bad mood.

At last, we all know nothing stays forever. Then a small problem should not be affecting you too much. Be happy for what you have. Be grateful and graceful. Remember a non living thing will never get problems, only living things do. Try to solve the problem and find out what caused it if you can. Just let a day be a day, not more than that.

FIBONACCI SEQUENCE! THE MAGIC!!!

Though mathematics is an interesting and beautiful subject, most of us find it difficult to learn. We often learn mathematics to do calculations and learn formulas to get good grades in the exams. Mathematics is a wonderful subject which we tend to apply in our day-to-day life. If you see maths through a different dimension, it will be as interesting as social media. We learn so many formulas and theorems, but where do we apply them? Think and come to a solution to make mathematics an interesting one. To prove mathematics an interesting subject, here come the Fibonacci numbers. Most of us have heard it once or twice in our classes when our teacher says about it. If you love to play with numbers, then Fibonacci numbers are the one. Let’s see how interesting these Fibonacci Numbers are!!

The Fibonacci Sequence in Nature

Fibonacci numbers are numbers, such that each number is the sum of the two preceding numbers starting from 0 and 1. The Fibonacci numbers or Fibonacci sequence are first used in the book, Liber Abaci, by Fibonacci which is used in the calculation of the growth of the rabbits. The Fibonacci numbers are closely related to the golden ratio. The ratio of the two consecutive Fibonacci numbers gives the golden ratio as n increases. {Golden Ratio: 1.61803398875}. Though, Liber Abaci contain the earliest description outside India, Indian mathematicians are the ones who described Fibonacci sequence as early as the sixth century.

Fibonacci Sequence

The Fibonacci day is celebrated on November 23rd every year. If we write it in mm/dd format, 11/23; it is also a Fibonacci number. The name Fibonacci is named after its inventor, Leonardo of Pisa, commonly known as Fibonacci was an Italian Mathematician, who was famous for his invention in the history of mathematics.

Leonardo of Pisa, commonly known as Fibonacci (1170 – 1250)

Let’s see the Fibonacci sequence with the example of rabbit, A farmer put a pair of rabbits on a closed surface. How many rabbits can be produced from the pair in a year, if it is that every month each pair produces a new pair which from the second month on becomes productive? The solution is the Fibonacci sequence. The sequence will go on like   1, 1, 2, 3, 5,….. and so on.

FIBONACCI SEQUENCE IN NATURE!!

  • In some flowers, the petals are arranged in the Fibonacci sequential arrangement which is enough to prove that Fibonacci sequences are available in nature too.
  • In the branches of plants, the leaves are spirally arranged in the Fibonacci sequence arrangement. In small plants, it will be 5 or 8. In larger ones, it will be 8 or 13 based on the growth of the plant.
  • The pattern of the seeds within the sunflower follows the Fibonacci sequence (1,1,2,3,5, …..).
The nature of design: the Fibonacci sequence and the Golden Ratio - Cleveland Design

Fine! Till now, we saw what is a fibonacci sequence, and who is the inventor and where can we see this fibonacci series. Now, shall we see where these fibonacci sequence are used practically? Yeah! Come on!

IN MATHEMATICS,

  • The Fibonacci numbers occur in the sum of the shallow diagonals of Pascal’s triangle.
Fibonacci sequence and Pascal’s triangle
  • The Fibonacci sequence is also used in the Pythagoras theorem. The hypotenuse of the triangle can be a Fibonacci number.
  • The Fibonacci sequence is also used in the network topology for parallel computing.

IN COUMPUTER SCIENCE,

  • The Fibonacci numbers are important in the analysis of algorithms (computational run-time analysis) of Euclid’s algorithm.
  • Its also used in the common factor tree method that is called a binary tree method which is the Fibonacci number minus one.
  • This Fibonacci sequence also used in the game called poker, it is a step in the game development.

Fibonacci sequence are used not only in these two fields but also in many other fields. To put it simply, I have given these two fields. As we saw earlier, fibonacci sequence can also be seen in nature. While contructing tall buildings, climb up and see from the top, this is also an example of a fibonacci sequence.

Algorithms 101: Climbing stairs in JavaScript | by Joan Indiana Lyness | JavaScript in Plain English

These are the various interesting facts in the Fibonacci sequence. It’s just a small part of mathematics. If we take an interest in various parts or topics in mathematics, we can make maths an interesting one. Mathematics is an ocean, where Fibonacci sequence is a small fish in it. Let’s try to catch various fishes like the Fibonacci sequence and make our lives a great one. If you find it interesting, just do some more research and excite by yourself like how I got excited!!

THE BOOK THIEF BY MARKUS ZUSAK

ABOUT THE BOOK:

The Book Thief is an historical novel by Australian author Markus Zusak. This book is published in 2005 and is one of the international best sellers. The book was also adapted into a movie with the same name.

THE PLOT:

The narrator of the book thief is death. The death introduce himself and visits a small girl Leisel meminger. The story follows the small girl Leisel meminger, after she attains the age in Nazi Germany during World war II. After her brother’s death her mother deciding to give away her.  There she was exposed as a book thief when she was mourning near her brother’s grave she encountered a gravedigger missing his diary in the ground. Without missing the moment she looted the diary without the man’s knowledge. After She has been adopted by her foster parents Hans and Rosa Hubermann. She started to get along with the boy named Rudy Steiner. Leisel starts to like the place and the people.Even though the Nazi regime horrors her at some times. Hans Huberman taught Leisel to read and write first in her bedroom and then in the basement. Because he wants her daughter to share her powerful thoughts through words. Beginning to steal books, now she started to write her own story. When she started helping her foster mother by collecting laundry, she developed a friendship with mayor’s wife Ilsa Hermann, who allows her to read books  in her library and later started to steal them.

Then the Hubermann family get visited by a Jewish man named Max Vandenberg. With him Leisel get close by sharing her language and words which she was taught by her father. But few days later max decided to leave Hubermann’s house. He afraid that Hubermann’s activities will draw suspicion. Eventually as a punishment Hans application for to join National Socialist German workers party is approved. A while later Leisel see Max among the Jewish prisoners in the street, she joins him and get kicked away by the soldier.

After Hans returns home, bomb falls on Leisel street in Mulching. Leisel at that  time working on her manuscript was the only survivor. She was rescued by the the workers and collected the ashes of her manuscript. She is taken by Mayor and his wife Ilsa Hermann. A while later she walks into the river where her friend Rudy saved a book that they theft together but dies without saying a good bye. In 1945, Leisel works in the tailor shop owned by Rudy’s father when max invites her and have an emotional reunion.

Many years later, Leisel died of aging in Sydney, Australia. She was happily married and has three children. She has never forgotten Hans, Rosa, Rudy and her brother. The narrator of the book, death collects her soul and gives her the manuscript. She asks the death to read the book, but death is unable to understand. He cant understand the duality of human beings. The final words by death is “I am haunted by humans”.

MY FAVOURITE QUOTES FROM THE BOOK:

“The only thing worse than a boy who hates you: a boy that loves you.”

“Even death has a heart.”

“It kills me sometimes, how people die.”

PERSONAL THOUGHTS:

The Book Thief was my first favourite book since i started reading books. The ending of the book have left me pain and empathy. It hardly take me two days to think other than the book. I was so hard whether to feel happy for Leisel like how she  atleast had Max in her life and her children whom was there for her when she dies or to feel sorrow for her, how traumatic was her childhood. When she was young and fragile she lost her only brother and her mother left her. Still she had her foster parents and Rudy but the chaos happened in her nation had left her alone. Not as a girl in her teen but as a human in that very young age she lost the persons with whom she can call family and felt happiness . I sometimes use to think that how i wold have handled all this pain and loss of my loved ones. The thought itself breaks me. Even though it is a fiction its hard to convince myself. Atleast death itself was with her till her death. Even death has some humanity.

Star Wars VIII: Explained

The movie picks up almost where it left off, with Rey and Chewie on Ahch-To the other rebels are evacuating their base. The first order lead by Kylo Ren attack the ships used by the resistance to evacuate. Poe Dameron leads a costly attack against an imperial dreadnought against the orders of General Leia Organa, the dreadnought is destroyed but at the heavy cost of resistance troops. The attack allows rest of the resistance ships to escape into hyperspace, they are however tracked by the First Order. Kylo hesitates while attacking the lead ship as he senses his mother Leia onboard, one of the imperial ship shoots and destroys the bridge of the lead ship. Most of the leaders are killed and Leia is sucked into space, Leia uses the force to save herself from certain death but in doing so leaves her weak. While Leia recovers vice-admiral Holdo steps up to assume command of the surviving resistance ships.

The film then picks up with Rey offering Luke his fathers saber, Luke promptly tosses the saber off a cliff and wordlessly leaves Rey. Unwilling to give up Rey tries to get Luke to teach her the ways of the Force, Luke outright refuses and claims that the Jedi should end. After some convincing from his old friend R2-D2, Luke agrees to give Rey three lessons of the way of the Force. Rey is drawn to a cave under the island that emanates some kind of connection to the dark side. A furious Luke reprimands Rey when he discovers her in the cave. Somehow Rey and Ben begin seeing each other and communicating, this phenomenon unheard of for eras was known as a Force dyad.

While communicating within the force Ben reveals that Luke was afraid of the Raw power Ben possessed and the fact that Luke tried killing him. Luke discovers Rey and Ben communicating through the force and immediately puts a stop to it. Rey confronts Luke with the facts Ben told her, Luke confesses that he felt Ben veering off the path and contemplated killing him. Luke saw the darkness in Bens future and was scared of his power so he tried killing his own nephew while he was asleep. A scared and enraged Ben woke up before Luke could follow through with the killing blow, Ben decimated the Jedi temple and killed all the other apprentices earning the name Jedi Killer. Ben then fled to Snoke who took him in and gave him the name Kylo Ren. After learning all that Rey decides to try and save Kylo and bring him back.

Meanwhile Poe entrusts Finn, Rose and BB-8 with a mission to get rid of the tracking device. After getting a hacker DJ the group infiltrates Snokes flagship but are captured by captain Phasma. Kylo brings Rey aboard the flagship before Snoke, Snoke reveals that it was him who connected Rey and Kylo to learn the whereabouts of Luke. On Ahch-To Luke contemplates destroying the Jedi library but doesn’t follow through, the Force ghost of Jedi Grand Master Yoda summons a lightning bolt to destroy the Library anyway.

On the resistance ship Holda plans on evacuating the forces to a abandoned base using smaller vessels. Poe finds the plan cowardly and mutinies against Holda, he is stopped by Leia who stuns Poe and bids her friend Holda a goodbye. Holda remains on the flagship intending to act as a decoy to help the others escape. DJ the hacker buys his freedom by telling Phasma about the escaping vessels, the order attacks said vessels and successfully destroys many.

Snoke orders Kylo to kill Rey but he activates the saber next to Snoke cleaving him in half, Kylo and Rey defeat the guards known as knights of Ren. Rey is forced to face Kylo when he asks her to join him in ruling the galaxy. Meanwhile Holdo crashes herself into Snokes ship to destroy it and let the others escape. The survivors escape to Crait an abandoned base, Rey escapes the explosion along with Finn, Rose and BB-8 aboard the Falcon. Kylo Ren declares himself the supreme leader and orders the First Order to attack Crait. On the surface Poe, Rose and Finn lead the attack against the first Order using speeders, Rey and Chewie deal with a squadron of TIE fighters with the Falcon. All hope seems lost when the Order uses a siege cannon to get through the Base doors.

Luke appears to save the resistance and engages the first order, Kylo orders his forces to focus their attack on Luke. The attacks don’t seem to harm the old Jedi, Kylo steps on the battlefield intending to duel with Luke. The resistances uses these opportunities to slowly escape. Kylo strikes Luke with his saber only to realise Luke is a projection, Luke projected himself using the Force to help the resistance and talk to Kylo. Rey helps the remaining resistance members to escape aboard the Falcon, Rey and Leia sense Luke peacefully dying with the Force. The resistance makes it out alive and the movie pans to the stable hands that helped Finn, Rose and BB-8 escape, one of the kids uses the Force to pull a broom towards him. This symbolises a new generation of Force users coming into the picture having learned about the force through tales of Luke Skywalker.

This wraps up the story, the next chapter seems to be the last one. We will see a few of our favourite characters like Han, Leia, Luke probably for the last time. Gear up for the final chapter, until then may the Force be with you.

“LAST BENCH KA LOAFER” – YJHD

Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani is a light – hearted, entertaining film with a hidden but deep message that leaves you with many questions about life to ponder upon.
Are we living our truth? Are we following our passion? What is the purpose of life? And do we know who we really are and what we really want in life?

Since our childhood, we are made to follow the rules set by the society. Fourteen years of primary and secondary education, three year of college diploma, and then join the rat race to get a perfect job with a good package. After landing to a perfect job, we work hard to earn money, save some for our next generation and finally retire. Sadly, it’s the retirement that most working people look up to so that they can finally enjoy their life. Its a vicious cycle that has continued for generation after generation, only because no one questioned it.
The most important thing that we often miss out, while trying to follow the set societal pattern is to actually LIVE our lives. We are so engrossed in planning for the next that we forget the importance of now and do not even live the now. Young adults work for a secure retirement so that they can enjoy their life. But often, that is the time when most of them regret not following their passion and doing what was best for them. However, they are left with very little time and hence are not able to make amends to their mistake.

In the movie we see Bunny as such a character, who in no way is a perfect ideal boy from the society’s perspective. He is seen a careless, emotionless, flirtatious young boy who denies to follow the rules set by others. He sets his own path for life. He is passionate about travelling, which again is not the most respected profession unlike engineering and medical. They want him to fit to a tie-suit, 9-5 job so that he can earn well and be accepted by the society. However, he had other plans for his life.

Though he was a “last bench ka loafer” who never passed an examination without cheating, he was more knowledgeable compared to other characters. Yes, he had less of bookish knowledge but he could pass any examination in the subject called life without having to copy others.

We live for 60-70 years on an average, yet its very late in life that we truly get to know ourselves. Often people do not even know themselves and follow a fake portrayal of themselves in order to suit the eyes of the society. They try to hide their real self, just to protect themselves from society’s judgement. However, Bunny stood apart from such a description. He knew himself and his expectations from life. Hence, he allows the society to judge him inside out as he was true to himself. However, It took years for Naina to decide what she wanted from life , and how it was so miserable that she couldn’t even afford a weekend break, because of her immense syllabus. It took her years to understand that she can never be a perfect daughter in the eyes of her parents, just by obeying them. And it was high time, she had to stand up for herself and her dreams which may not be well accepted by others. She was such a product of the society that believed that if she followed every rule, studied well, obeying her elders, became a doctor, she would be respected and accepted in the society. However, it was when she met her classmate Aditi, she realised that she had to take things in her own hands in order to better her life.

To a larger extent, Bunny played an important part in inspiring Naina to accept and love herself for who she was. Bunny had seen a lot in life. He lost his mother at a very young age, he never had a good relationship with his step-mother, he had financial issues, he never communicated well to his father and he had dreams that were different from the normal masses. Yet he never gave up on his dreams. He knew he had to earn for himself. Hence, he perused multiple side jobs along with his college so that he could save for the life that he desired, without depending on his family.

Though people see him to be a flirty, spoiled brat. I personally see him as a happy soul who loves to meet people and make new friends throughout the world. On a personal level, I believe it is not wrong to be over-friendly or to flirt with the opposite gender, until it is within the boundaries and consensual.

We live in such a society where various incidents do happen without the consent of the other person and yet those at fault live with the show of a respectable men and are honoured. It is the true gentlemen like Bunny who are termed as Casanova. He is respectable towards women, knows his limits, is helpful even to the unknown and I guess that is what counts to be a true gentleman. There were certain incidents like the time when Naina was not comfortable talking about adult films. He knew his boundaries and respected her choices.

Bunny brings out the best in people which helps them know and love themselves. He knows the importance of travelling and how an experience like such can change a person’s perspective towards life. Even when he was a complete stranger to Naina, he encouraged her and it would not be wrong to say that he was the one who made Naina believe in herself and love herself.

There was one such incident when they had been invited to a camp party. Naina being unknown to the concept of chilling with unknown strangers and making new friend, was hesitant. Often in life, we face such situations where we have doubt ourselves and fear the unknown. It is then, that we need someone to understand us and give the last push in order to overcome it. Bunny indeed was such a push to Naina. Though everyone believed Naina to be a serious, studious bookworm, it was Bunny who could bring out the fun Naina that was always inside her, waiting to be discovered and explored.

Internet- Boon or Bane

Photo by Teona Swift on Pexels.com

INTERNET stands for Interconnected Network that is a network system that connects millions of web servers. . Let us simply know its definition first. Internet is a hug network that connects computers all over the world. It has become the most significant medium for sharing information and communication from anywhere in the world.

Internet got introduced in India in 1986 but it took a decade to make it available for the public. VSNL first launched the internet in India on August 15, 1995. Today it has taken such a place in our life that a person can manage anything but they can’t survive without internet.

Recently, a study reported that the number of IP addresses has crossed the total limit, with the increase in the number of internet users across the world. With this huge development in this field one question also remains whether Internet is a boon or bane? For this we can have different opinions because some people consider it as a boon as they are just seeing the advantages and entertainment they are being provided by the internet while the rest will have some other arguments.

Everything has some pros and cons so as the internet. We can get alot of opportunities through the internet we can carry our business at a global level ,we can entertain ourself and also education can be provided by the internet and many more else . But on the other hand we are aware of various incidents that take place regularly of cyber crimes which is a big threat amd virus can also enter in our system which will also disturb our information and harm our privacy.

Internet is one the biggest tool that is making our life very easy. Just think if in this COVID-19 there will be no internet how will you get yourself updated? And attend your online classes? So its basically important that the reason and the time period for which internet is used must be the priority concern and it must be used with all the necessary precautions to keep it as a problem solver instead of a problem creator.

I sometimes wonder how we spent leisure time before satellite television and Internet came along…and then I realise that I have spent more than half of my life in the ‘dark ages’!

MULTIMIDEA IN MARKRETING

Services | Enforcer Web Solutions & Multimedia Marketing

Advertising has become very prevalent in our daily lives , so for a product to stand apart , it is very essential to present it in a dynamic , visually stimulating manner to grab the attention of consumers . The business world is slowly rejecting run of the mill tradition methods (such as placing ads in yellow pages , distributing pamphlets , etc.) and adopting solutions from the electronic era . Only companies with a nerve to radically change their marketing strategies for the new millennium will survive and be able to cater to ever- changing customer’s mindset . Applications of multimedia in the marketing field include the following :

  • Presentations for launching the products of a company . Reaching the target audience with necessary technical services or products requires clear communication stating the benefits and features , outlining its applications and any other product -related details , all presented in a well- designed and interactive manner so that the users can be familiarized faster . Multimedia presentations helps in motivating , informing and captivating audiences via PCs , laptops , plasma screens or kiosks delivered via CD-ROM or the Internet .
  • Multimedia is used to create interactive product catalogues , training tutorials , buyer guides and information directories with adequate search and navigation facilities to guide the user to easily trace the desired information . A buyer guide can list the nearly dealers , a comparison of the top brands , maps of the city and other helpful guest services .

Two must-read books of Paulo Coelho

Book: The Alchemist

Book Plot:

A Sheppard boy who wandered most of the places in Andalusia with his flock of sheep. Once he was sleeping in an abandoned church, he dreamed of going to the pyramid. He already had that dream once before. So in a place Tarifa he accidentally met a gypsy lady and she told that there in Egypt he will find his treasure. The followed story is about the adventure taken by the Sheppard boy to reach his Destiny.

About the Book:

  • Through this book, the author motivates us to listen to our hearts while we pursue our dreams. a philosophical fiction and Paulo Coelho gave him at best.
  • The Sheppard boy’s name is Santiago. But, the author never mentions his name except in the first line of the story. We must learn that trick from Paulo Coelho.
  • Paulo Coelho always concentrates on his story. No puns, no scribbles, no long narrations, no heroic entries, and especially no circumlocution. Just a plot and beautiful words to make it a novel. That’s why he is one of my favorite authors.

Quotes:

It is not what enters men’s evil mouths that’s evil… It is what comes out of their mouth that is.

There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.

There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.

when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.

Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself

Book: The Archer

Book Plot:

Tetsuya, a man once famous for his prodigious gift with a bow and arrow but retired from public life. The boy who comes searching for him wants him to teach the way of the bow, and the archer illustrates the way of the bow and the tenets of life.

Quotes:

What is a master? I would say that he is not someone who teaches something, but someone who inspires the student to do his best to discover the knowledge he already has in his soul.

The bow is life: the source of all energy. The arrow will leave one day. The target is a long way off. But the bow will stay with you, and you must know how to look after it.

Elegance is not the most comfortable of postures, but it is the best posture if the shot is to be perfect.

Five feet apart

Introduction:
Five feet apart is directed by Justin Baldoni and written by Mikki Daughtry, Tobias Iaconis. This genre of drama and romance was released in 2019.
Stella Grant (Haley Lu Richardson) is a seventeen year old who is diagnosed with cystic fibrosis whose life is full of restrictions and boundaries but she doesn’t fail to amaze us with her lively nature and her love for life and all of her restrictions are put to test when she meets Will Newman ( Cole Sprouse) a handsome young man who is also a CF patient and therefore they’re supposed to be a safe distance from each other.

Their connection grows stronger which makes them want to break all the rules and be together. Will is a kind of person who doesn’t like following rules but after meeting Stella he is inspired to live life to the fullest and embrace every moment.
Eventually they fall in love and will realises that in order for Stella to be safe he needs to be away from her and therefore he is determined to leave her even though he loves her and Stella is only left with his memories.

Themes:
This movie explores the themes of life and death, being rebellious and love. These are the main themes as throughout the movie, we get to witness how they fought bravely for their lives, they even sacrificed themselves for each other and how they didn’t let their illness be a reason for them to be apart and tried to love each other and themselves even more each day and how they made each others life more meaningful and beautiful.
This entire movie was beautifully directed and the actors complemented each other. At, first when they meet, they realize that they’re of opposite personalities and there are misunderstandings but as time passes, they get to know each others circumstances and grow to understand and like one another. When they realize that they really are attracted to each other and even fall in love, it’s the distance they have to maintain but they still don’t give in to it as they truly love each other and thinking that even if they have very little time to be with eachother, they need to spend it wholeheartedly and by enjoying each others company. But that put their lives in danger.
The background musics are a good touch to the movie as they add to the emotions of the movie and they enhance our experience which gives it a sad but dramatic effect.

Conclusion:
This is a very good movie according to me as we get to see what people can do to save their loved ones and how sacrifice also plays an important role in love. This also shows us how having that one person by your side helps you to be stronger and happier.
This movie was “one of a kind” and I really enjoyed and appreciated all the themes and motifs of this movie. It was a very emotional and thoughtful movie, according to me. As I really enjoyed watching this, I’d rate it a 9/10.
