Friendship Is The Most Wonderful Relationship In Our Life

Friendship is the most wonderful relationship that anyone can have. Ideally a friend is a person who offers love and respect and will never leave or betray us. Friends can tell harsh truths when they must be told. There are four different types of friends: True friends, Convenient friends, Special interest friends, and historical friends. To have friendship is to have comfort. In times of crisis and depression, a friend is there to calm us and to help lift up our spirits. There are many illustrations that show why a friend can be a great comforter. For example, if a student is going through a hard time at school, a friend can offer guidance, encouragement and support.

A true friend is also someone who loves and respects us. A boyfriend and a girlfriend desire to be with each other. They love each other so much that they just want to be with each other as much as possible. This bond is also present in a good friendship because it has genuine love. Also, as friends they respect each other. They try to avoid causing conflicts. They don’t make fun of each other, but treat each other with respect. As friends, we all make sacrifices for each other. Some friends risk their lives for a friend.

A person is acquainted with many persons in their life. However, the closest ones become our friends. You may have a large friend circle in school or college, but you know you can only count on one or two people with whom you share true friendship. There are essentially two types of friends, one is good friends the other are true friends or best friends. They’re the ones with whom we have a special bond of love and affection. In other words, having a true friend makes our lives easier and full of happiness.

Most importantly, true friendship stands for a relationship free of any judgments. In a true friendship, a person can be themselves completely without the fear of being judged. It makes you feel loved and accepted. This kind of freedom is what every human strives to have in their lives. In short, true friendship is what gives us reason to stay strong in life. Having a loving family and all is okay but you also need true friendship to be completely happy. Some people don’t even have families but they have friends who’re like their family only. Thus, we see having true friends means a lot to everyone.

Being in a relationship and having a boyfriend and girlfriend they key word in that is “friend” the key to a relationship is to be good friends first before rushing into anything. that also means you have genuine love for each other and you even respect each other more. One of the most important thing about having a friend is to never betray them. A friend is loyal through thick and thin, broke or rich, house or no house, smart or dumb. A lot of friendships now a days are not real friendships. People are friends with each other for even a certain period of time to get something out of them. A lot of people do not keep promises in a friendship anymore and it is sad. Loyalty and love makes a friendship a lot stronger.

Therefore, there is no doubt that best friends help us in our difficulties and bad times of life. They always try to save us in our dangers as well as offer timely advice. True friends are like the best assets of our life because they share our sorrow, sooth our pain and make us feel happy.

Online classes results in Eyesight and Ear problems

Most of the students are now undertaking online classes due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. This is indeed a cause of worry for many parents because children spend extra hours on mobile phones and laptops. Experts also speak of the hazardous effects that digital classes can have on eyes of young children. Parents must take precautions and measures to ensure safety of the child’s eyes.

Needless to say, excessive usage of mobile phones, laptops or any other gadgets can affect children in many ways. This can be mental and physical. Eye strain is one amongst the most common problems. Some of its symptoms include excessive blinking, tearing, frequent rubbing of the eyes, dry eyes, headaches from eye strain and even tiredness. Parents must be extremely watchful and careful on how the child spends time online. Most of the classes, especially for children above class 8, goes on for long hours. Parents must cut short their time spent on video games, TV and other gadgets. Only a strict no works with most children!

During the last two weeks, a few school children in the age group of 8-10 came to my clinic with complaints of dryness in their eyes and frequent blinking of eyes. Prolonged reading on the mobile screen and watching it from close range may result in this type of problems,” says G. Hanumantha Rao, an ophthalmologist, who runs his clinic on MVP Double Road. He suggests that a laptop or a desktop with a large screen should be preferred. It also ensures that proper viewing distance is maintained, at least to some extent.

“Prolonged use of earphones can result in noise-induced deafness. It can also cause tinnitus and the child may experience ringing sounds in the ear. Severe exposure may cause inability to hear certain frequencies. The problems depend on the duration and intensity of the sound,” says B. Ramachandra Rao, an ENT surgeon at the Government ENT Hospital in the city.

Lying: Does it give satisfaction?

Largely, lies hide truth, mystery or reality. A lie is something that is believed to be false and generally it carries a negative connotation. And it gives you a sense of success in doing that. By hoaxing the other you derive pleasure or fun out of that. Lying to another person acts as a solution to your mind’s turmoil. It gives the satisfaction of creating something new or non-existent. It is an attempt to get away with something that we don’t want to occur. You badly want to abstain from the unpleasant consequences of truth. Because you are afraid to face them, that’s why you prefer to lie. But why would someone get this feeling of achievement or kind of satisfaction after lying? Of course, it is because achievement is their top priority. Most do that out of their ignorance that they cannot get deeper and longer satisfaction by lying. At one point, when you manage to fool someone, you develop a hidden feeling of superiority complex (in clinical terms) and often lies get reflected on your face. Lies can serve as instrumental, interpersonal or Psychological ways for the individuals who use them. You get the joy of preserving the truth within your inside by not disclosing it. Some derive sadistic pleasure in duping the other by giving wrong information or creating improbity. Some do it because they are habitual of lying and then only lying can give them satisfaction. They do not understand that except instant contentment or insignificant satiety lying costs you your dependability, trustworthiness and goodwill. People tend to lying also to ensure harmony, security, freedom from fear. Do you know when you lie there is a weird feeling of achievement? It’s because we expect and wish that our excuse should be accepted by others because it is right. Sometimes people lie because they want to appear better than they are. Lying does not work every time, sometimes we get stuck badly in the situation where the only solution to get out is by telling the truth, Truth is preferable, but remember the corporate sector, as well as the business, which doesn’t work on a full truth policy. The outcomes of lying are transient that will fade away very soon. When the truth is highlighted, it makes you look miserable in your own eyes. So, if one is a self-critic, they must be careful before lying. But the one who are prudent, you cannot dodge them as they have ability to judge your false wordings. If you are lying to someone from words of mouth, your feelings/emotions and body language is expressing the truth. People come to know of the truth as you come to know of others. It is different that they would not let you know about it, as you also never disclose for not creating unpleasantness. Truth satisfies your trinity (mind, body and soul), which lying can never. Your one lie can make someone’s life hell or heaven. Learn! To tell a lie is to keep others in the dark. Lie can even seperate you from your family, friends and society. Lying can only give you satisfaction on a temporary basis but not for your whole life. So remember, do think about it before commuting.

Ways to stay optimistic

Do you often find yourself giving in to negativities and put yourself in a bad mood? Well, if this is so then you don’t have to let bad news or negativities ruin your day. Every new day has something positive to offer, but some days you might have to look for it a little harder. Here are four things you can apply in your daily life to attract positivity and happiness into your life.
1) Practice gratitude-  Write in a gratitude journal everyday, right after you wake up from your sleep. Being thankful for the things you already have or have achieved so far, helps you stay motivated the entire day. Studies have shown gratitude to be linked with positive emotions and overall well-being over time. Starting your day with positive thoughts would thus help you stay focused only on the positive aspects of your life.
2) Listen to Music- whenever you find yourself in a bad mood because of certain negativities clouding your mind, then just tune into some music that gives out happy vibes. Researches have shown that listening to happy music instantly put you in a happy mood, as music activates the region of your brain that produces the feel good hormone, dopamine. Therefore you start feeling good and happy after a while.
3) Follow your passion- to cast of all the negative thoughts, try doing the things you are most passionate about or try to do something that would add meaning to your life. You can become a volunteer if you want to. Volunteer for a cause you believe in or sign in for a class to learn something new. This would give you a new sense of meaning and fulfillment in life.
4) Practice meditation- Try to inculcate the habit of practicing meditation into your daily routine. A few minutes of meditation would help you clear your mind, boost your mood by decreasing stress and you would feel much better. This would ultimately help you stay calm  and focused in your life.
So, readers, don’t let negativities cloud your thinking and suck your optimism. You have a choice to decide how to respond to any situation. So, next time if  you find yourself being bogged down by all the negativities around you then just try to incorporate the above mentioned tips into your life and see the difference for yourself!

Hygiene & Sanitation

https://www.pexels.com/

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), “Hygiene refers to conditions and practices that help to maintain health and prevent the spread of diseases.” Health & hygiene are both mutually dependent factors. Thus negligence in maintaining even basic levels of hygiene can cause a person to suffer from serious health hazards & even surrounding people. Being social creatures, it is up to them to maintain high levels of cleanliness. And it is not a matter of choice, but a serious responsibility one must abide.
Children are made to inculcate basic hygienic behaviours right from their childhood. Hygienic routines can be introduced into kids’ lives and reinforced continuously. This causes them to register this in their brains & eventually becomes a part of their lifestyle. Also, parents have to be role models so that the kids follow them & learn. As children are said to be shadows of their parents.
Hygiene can be classified into 2 categories: personal and environmental hygiene. Also, this also helps one attain some good peace of mind. Sanitation deals with public health conditions related to clean drinking water and adequate treatment and disposal of human excreta and sewage.
Personal hygiene is defined as ” The practices that keep our bodies and our immediate environment clean.” This enables one to thrive well & disease-free. While environment hygiene is defined as “practical control measures used to improve the basic environmental conditions affecting human health.” The citizens are mostly ignorant about environmental sanitation as they consider they pay taxes thus it’s not their responsibility. But in recent years the government has taken some commendable steps to regulate the garbage disposal & etc as we all are aware of.
The benefits of having a clean environment ensure a healthy environment around us & the stability of the ecosystem. It’s the due responsibility of every person to keep mother earth clean & preserve it for future generations. As otherwise, it would be unfair to inherit a world so polluted thus making them exposable to a variety of health risks. By preserving the environment, we are also preserving wildlife and marine animals. The terrestrial & aquatic animals are the most affected as their habitats are also polluted.
Whoever coined this quote “Cleanliness is next to Godliness” was on point. Hygiene mandatorily should be part and parcel of everybody’s lives. Negligence of personal hygiene can cause one to develop scabies, pubic/head/body lice, rashes & ringworm’s disease.
Especially after this pandemic hit, practices like the usage of masks, sanitizers, social distancing are the new normals introduced in the people’s lifestyle. This surely helps one understand the significance of hygiene & sanitation.

Filling Spaces

‘Empty spaces in life are luxuries which you can fill with wisdom- the unending tunnel.’

Everyone in this world is gifted with exuberance to generate its own universe. Just like the space between stars, there are empty spaces in your life as well. Just like they shine, you are also made to sparkle. It’s upon you, how you fill those spaces. Everything has two aspects- the positive aspect and a negative one. Who created these aspects? Who told you that one thing is positive and the other one is negative? Take it just the way it is. Change your thoughts and change your thinking. Now the point comes, how will you fill these vacant parts of your life? Let me take you through it.

LOVE the secret to everything. The greatest contribution you can make in anybody’s life is love. Remove hatred from your heart and add love. The essence of love has so much potency that it will soak away every pain, every tear from your life. It has the highest frequency to fill gaps just as the gaps between your hands are filled by your spouse. Just as you are made for someone and someone is made for you, you are made human and humanity is made for you. Fill your gaps in humanity with love. Maybe you’re broken, maybe the world has given to you so much, maybe now you’re smiling but under that, you hide the pain, but there is always a place for love that will take away all your griefs. Now, this place is your empty space which you have filled with immense love.

Fortune favours the BRAVE. Remove the fear from your heart and add bravery. Learn to fight with your own struggles. You have to fight for yourself, nobody is going to fight for you. Take the first step of courage and the rest will be made for you. Many of us are afraid to take the first initial step. Remember you are the light and spread that glow for the path on which you have to go. Don’t be afraid, never doubt your capabilities. What if Mahatma Gandhi doesn’t take his first step for freedom? If Kalam didn’t make his first missile? If Graham Bell doesn’t make phones? Today, without their guts can India be able to achieve success? So go ahead, be brave enough to fight your battles, for your dreams. After all, there’s always light at the end of the tunnel. Congratulations! you’re on a way to achieve success, to fill those gaps.

Spread KINDNESS. You know you’re here in this world for a purpose. We are born in this world to spread smiles, to be kind. Every hand that offers love has a spirit to spread goodness. Ask yourself, are we kind enough to help? Do we have enough to give something to that poor child asking for food? Yes, of course! Live your life in abundance, after all, life is meant to be abundant. Until and unless you do not learn to help others you cannot go ahead in your life. Help others to get help. Understand the pain in others eyes, give a hand for help, you’ll feel heaven. Be generous to donate for those who are born in this world for this purpose. Have a noble attitude of giving.

A GRATEFUL heart is a magnet for miracles. Have you ever wondered why 96% of all the wealth is only in the lives of 1% people? It’s because they have an attitude of gratitude. They run business, not for the sake of money, but to create opportunities for others. This is the most powerful way to fill those empty spaces of your life with goodness. Have an attitude of developing gratitude. Take a piece of paper and write all the things you’re grateful for. The pen, laptop, your eyes, your beautiful face, your house and all those things which you see around you. Unless and until you are not grateful for the things you already have, how will you be grateful for the things you’ll get in future? The whole struggle of your life will end if you begin to be grateful for the things you have now. The greatest battles of your life are fought in these secrets above you. The empty spaces of your life can be filled with the peace of mind having open and clear space. As a wise human make your empty space your most beautiful opulence.

Routines to pick again for students and service workers before Unlock 5.0

It has been nearly six months of COVID-19 and lock-down. We haven’t been able to control the virus, yet few vaccines are in development that may help the situation. However, it is expected to come near last quarter of 2020. However, it is expected that Institutes and other services may resume in next phase of unlock with some guidelines and safety protocols. In unlock 4.0 Institutions outside the containment zones are allowed to work within the half amount but students were not supposed to attend schools and colleges. But it is seeming that in the coming time, schools outside containment zone might be ordered to reopen school anytime coming in future. So, we bring to you, the scheduled routines we should start following now so that we can be back on track within the given time. This will help us to regain our lost touch. In the lock-down phase we have become the rusty in the meantime, but we need to be at our toes and let’s get started,

  • Sleep Cycle

Due to less work and more time, we have been more or less in last few months, few peoples might have used their time well, but the time would have changed. Mostly we might be awake till late night doing what they love or enjoying some good content, but this had ruined our sleep cycle. Surely, we would have been taking a good 8-10-hour sleep but from very late night to mid noon in actually. So, we need to fix this as it would cause problems in school or working time. We can start by sleeping early and try to wakeup in morning. It would take time but reducing this by one hour for 5-6 days will result in good sleep cycle. You will manage to sleep early and wake early to get a healthy lifestyle and efficient energy to work productively in whole day.

  • Morning Time

As we will get our sleep cycle right, it’s time to use the morning time for great Health. We have been sitting inside and idle for most of the time. Due to lock-down, work and physical exercise was reduced to high extent. This will result in storing a lot of fat and hence making us physically unfit. So, we can correct this by doing yoga and other exercises in mean time. Gym is not functioning fully, but a little effort can make you fit so that you can be on your toes by the time when everything gets back to normal.

  • Evening out

In whole period of lock-down, we have been inside the home most of the times and getting bored absolutely doing nothing or tired of doing everything. So, it is good to take a walk-in evening time to relax and chill in that time. We all love to enjoy doing nothing and roam around for some time. As we have lot time now and we should make use of evening.

  • Food cycle

In these days, all the markets, restaurants and outside food was prohibited and also not available. We all were forced to make and have foods in home only. Well that was the good part of this lock-down for us, but it has its downside too, like we were free to eat anytime be it a day or night. We might have been taking N no. of meals in a 24-hour day. Our food cycle has been bad for quite many days, but it starts to affect us somehow badly. So, its right time to reset it and use it well in favor of us. We can make plan for a perfect meal throughout the day and can design that according to our workload and necessity

  • Quality work

We have a lot of time in this period of lock-down like some free time where we can do something of our own. Things we take interest in or things that fascinates us and we always wanted to give it a try. We can enjoy our hobbies and get the most of it. We can turn it and modify in some great shape as we want always. We can also start by studying some of our subjects or work front things we have took a break with, deliberately or creatively to give space. Things are now starting, and we need to be ready and be like we were ever ready. To use most of this time and keep us waiting and engaging in activities so that we can slay in upcoming time.

We hope you take some great from this and make most of everything and use time for enriching in any way possible. Lock-down has given us some golden chances to do anything to everything. It’s never late or early to start something instead its amount of efforts and work that needs to be done to get best out of it.

Achieving a balanced life

One’s life is said to be balanced when you find time for doing the things you have to do as well as finding time for the things you like to do the most. Balancing your life depends upon how well you manage your time. A balanced life would give you a sense of fulfillment, bringing in peace, joy and harmony to your life.
Some of the suggestions to help you find balance in life are as follows-
1) Productive mornings- to start your day with positivity and motivation, grab a piece of paper, write down three things you want to get done everyday. No more,no less! After you have accomplished those three things, give yourself permission to consider your day successful and that anything else you do is a bonus! Taking an hour every morning to write down your daily goals would set your day right and would help you stay motivated the entire day. This is the best way to kick start your day!
2) Practice meditation- inculcating the habit of practising meditation in the morning, into your daily routine would help in clearing your mind, boosting you to stay productive and focused on your work. Meditation also helps achieving peace. An early morning meditation is thus a great way to start your day with positive energy.
3) Letting go- recognise that there’s nothing wrong in letting go of people who show no concern for you. Break your ties from every negative person alive in your life. If you can’t completely break ties with them then at least do yourself a favour by not frequently being in touch with them. Avoid toxic people as much as possible, to focus on the right things in life. Stay close to those who help you grow as a person in life.
4) Self-care- Make self-care a part of your routine. It shouldn’t be something you do on a special occasion. You should show yourself and the world that you care about yourself everyday! Moreover, remember to accept yourself as who you are while knowing that you deserve better, can actually help you eradicate energy- sucking people and situations out of your life like no other!
5) Find time for yourself- don’t forget to live your life while always being on work. Take a break when needed. Go out  for a walk in nature. Spend time with yourself. Keep your phone aside and do the activities you have always loved doing.  So, better set clear boundaries from when you want to zone out. Your life isn’t dedicated to giving your devices  attention every time their screens light up.
Finding balance in life is thus all about keeping your heart and mind happy.Being at peace with yourself is what matters the most. So go ahead and try to put your life together by achieving the much needed  balance in your life!

BULLYING – A DESTRUCTIVE BEHAVIOR

Whenever we see a person making fun or play a prank on someone, we’ll probably snort or grin and say that guy is joking around but what about the person whom he/she made fun of? Was that person fine with it? Personally, no one cares, mostly because they don’t understand the real meaning of the term “Bullying”. Bullying is when someone is picked on by a person/group or someone who uses their power to harm or control a person. Bullies might make fun of somebody who they believe doesn’t fit in or seems like they are weak and cannot stand up for themselves. Some instances of bullying are spreading rumors, social status, appearance, threatening harm, sexual identity, religion, and one major kind of bullying where these bullies posts mean texts or nasty photos online known as Cyber Bullying.

The aftermath of bullying can be horrifying. It can cause depression, anxiety, sleeplessness, loss of appetite, lack of self-confidence and self-respect, lose interest from their work, or worse become a bully. Bullies can be kind and fake – this bully might act like your buddy so you tell them things, but later do harmful things behind your back. The outspoken and aggressive one might make fun of you to your face or physically hurt you and secretive and tricky. This bully might attempt to maneuver in secret. They might anonymously begin a damaging rumor just to witness what happens. Bullies are all similar to one another they don’t care about anyone, like to control others, are often vulnerable, and threaten others to make themselves feel great.

We can help a person who has been bullied by observing if there is any unusual change in behavior or attitude. Try to find out the circumstances and see if these changes usually take place during the use of digital devices or after coming from school, college, or workplace. Don’t sound too inquisitive, but gently engage that person in a conversation. Take him/her into trust and try to understand what is happening, when it all began, and who is all into this act. Immediately file a complaint with the police in case that person is receiving sexual or physical intimidations, or you sense an illegal activity or violation underway.

If you are facing this issue, then ignore the bully and walk away. They normally like to get a response, so just show them you don’t give a damn. Always remember how much ever they provoke you do not get into a physical fight. You are better than them. It may help if you’ll talk to your parents, teachers, or friends or anyone who can give you the aid you require. Avoid being alone, stay with your friends who will back you up. Don’t forget self-confidence is the key to stand up against the bullies. Most people who bully others were once a victim, too. Try to talk to them and make them understand that all human beings are different and no matter what you should respect others.

Benefits of shedding tears

The act of crying is often seen as one’s weakness, when we grow up and are no more a kid. If you are a crybaby then you are often labelled as a weakling. However, to your surprise, let me inform you that the involuntary act of crying is actually good for your intellect, body, and soul in many ways. So, instead of bottling up your tears just let it flow, otherwise you would be doing more harm to yourself than any good. Some of the benefits of crying are-
1)You dispose of toxins- you don’t always cry simply out of sadness, however crying is additionally your body’s response to deal with excessive stress. It acts as a stress buster, as when you cry, out of stress, your physique eliminates the stress hormone Cortisol, because of which you sense elated and feel much better. Moreover, chronic increase of this hormone may lead to various other diseases like sleeplessness, diminished immune response and weight gain. So, a good cry when you are stressed is the best way to deal with your conflicted mind and body.
2) Eliminates bacteria- Shedding tears help cast off micro organism from your eyes. This is due to the quality of the hormone lysozyme present in your tears. The hormone no longer solely wash bacteria away from your eyes but it additionally kills 90% of the bacteria on it’s path, hence it helps killing different toxins lurking on your skin.
3) Improves vision– crying helps clearing your eyes thus, hydrating it’s membranes and ultimately revitalizing your eyes’ normal functions.
4) Emotional cleansing- letting out your emotions is a good way to face your emotional storms. I am pretty sure that each one of us at certain point in our lives have discovered reasons to cry our heart out. Life is all about struggles, and most of the time we frequently find ourselves in the most vulnerable circumstances, and it is during this period that we need an emotional cleansing, that is letting our tears flow and get back stronger than before. Crying, therefore acts as an outlet, through which we can get back to our normal selves after holding back our tears for long amount of time in order to keep our face.
5) Lifts your mood- I am sure everybody has experienced this. Once you are done with your tears, you feel much lighter and your mood lifts up, after a while. This happens mostly, because you are done detoxifying both your body and your soul, by releasing your suppressed emotions in the form of tears.
Well readers, I am sure you have realized by now that crying is a sign of one’s strength and not weakness. So, next time if  you feel bogged down by your emotions don’t hesitate to let your tears flow. This is a much healthier way to keep you rooted in the present, clear your mind and let you gain back your lost strength!

Bhagawad Gita: The origin and abstract of all teachings

On the auspicious day of Teachers day- 5th September. Let’s take a moment to remember all the ancient learning we have learned or came across till now. Today is also the birthday of former President DrSarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He is also quoted as very famous teacher and hence today is also celebrated as Teachers day. Here we are taking a look at some of great teachings that were given to lord Krishna to great Arjuna.

Arjun were in dire confusion about the existence, death and soul. What is the ultimate goal, and many such questions and then Krishna showered him with the ultimate and most precious knowledge by teaching him

Arjun asked – “Those devotees who, ever steadfast, worship You after this fashion, and those others who worship the Imperishable and Unmanifest – which of these have greater knowledge of yoga?”

The Lord said: “Those who have fixed their minds on Me, and who, ever faith, worship Me – them do I hold to be perfect in yoga.”

“And those who have completely controlled their senses and are of even mind under all conditions and thus worship the Imperishable, the Ineffable, the Incomprehensible, the Immutable, the Unchanging, the Eternal – they devoted to the welfare of all beings, attain Me alone, and none else.

The task of those whose minds are set on the Unmanifest is more difficult; for the ideal of the Unmanifest is hard to attain for those who are embodied.”

“But those who consecrate all their actions to Me, regarding Me as the Supreme Goal, and who worship Me, meditating on Me with single-minded concentration – to them, whose minds are thus absorbed in Me, verily I become ere long, O Partha, the Saviour from the death-fraught ocean of the world.”

“Fix your mind on Me alone, rest your thoughts on Me alone, and in Me alone you will live hereafter. Of this there is no doubt.”

“If you are unable to do even this, then be self-controlled, surrender the fruit of all action, and take refuge in Me.”

“Knowledge is better than practice, and meditation is better than knowledge. Renunciation of the fruit of action is better than meditation; peace immediately follows such renunciation.”

“If you are unable to fix your mind steadily on Me, O Dhananjaya, then seek to reach me by the yoga of constant practice.”

“If you are incapable of constant practice, then devote yourself to My service. For even by rendering service to Me you will attain perfection.”

“He by whom the world is not afflicted and whom the world cannot afflict, he who is free from joy and anger, fear and anxiety – he is dear to Me.”

“He who is free from dependence, who is pure and prompt, unconcerned and untroubled, and who has renounced all undertakings – dear to Me is the man who is thus devoted to Me.”

“He who never hates any being and is friendly and compassionate to all, who is free from the feelings if “I” and “mine” and even-minded in pain and pleasure, who is forbearing, ever content, and steady in contemplation, who is self-controlled and possessed of firm conviction, and who has consecrated his mind and understanding to Me – dear to Me is the one who is thus devoted to Me.”

As we celebrate the Teacher’s day in 2020, let’s understand the perspective of students on how they expect teachers to be with them and how they want to cope up with teachers. We usually teach people around us somewhat to get them better at something. So, now we are doing the vice versa by understanding the prospective.

  • Listen to the students-Lord Krishna very patiently listened to Arjun when he was demotivated. Listening will help you know more about your student and the teacher student relationship also strengthens. While listening don’t judge your student, neither be angry on his works. Just understand that he is on his way of learning and he will commit mistakes.
  • Build a trust relationship with students-Lord Krishna and Arjuna depicted the best student teacher relationship where Arjuna had complete trust on Lord Krishna. Build a relationship with students so that after getting lessons from you they have a strong belief that the success is for sure and there is no point of defeat. Because at the end their success and their happiness is something that is going to give you immense satisfaction.
  • Answer with validation and reasoning-A student can’t believe in anything you say. He needs a proper reasoning of Why or Why not? Reasoning should be given on your own experience or based on some logic. Find different creative ways of answering a problem. A student should not be taught to just assume things and answers should not just be imposed on him without proper validation and logic. In Bhagawad Gita, Lord Krishna put his points with full validation and reasoning and convinced Arjuna in every possible way.
  • Satiate the hunger of inquisitive minds-A teacher should feel very enthusiastic in answering the inquisitive minds and should not be irritated if the student asks more questions. Lord Krishna very patiently answered all questions that were arising in the mind of Arjuna.

When a parent sends their children to school, they are actually sending their dreams to you to come true and fulfilling somebody’s dream is a great job.

One Rule…can end up corruption by 70%

There are many people who talks about it , and few screams and fight to end it…………but since ages, it’s not being possible to make a difference, and still have not got independence from it’s foul smell, where someone dwelling in it , without sense. But, should we live in this rut forever ?…And to accept ourselves as incapable of destroying it, and to live like a looser.

I have a one brilliant rule, if it comes into play that undoubtedly changes the fate of the country. Before i reveal it, let us know why this rule works besides many measures being taken were failing since decades.
The main feasible condition for corruption, is lack of surveillance and awareness among people, and how it greatly damages our standard of living. So,creating awareness among all the people might sometimes work, but most of the time it rewards us with great disappointment. because, India has biggest population, it’s hard to make all of us to bring on to one platform with one voice.

But, there was no dearth of solution, if we think and the first said idea is………….
This idea works with collection of students, professors, university bodies, govt anti corruption and adminstrative bodies , police.
You may wonder that how, could you connect students, professors with police?
The bitter fact is, about 90% of indian passouts graduates are unskilled according to the several esteemed surveys. The main reason for it is, not having a platform to access practical knowledge, we have severe shortage of internship opportunities and real time project works. This problem can also be indirectly solved by our main idea.

The govt should make project works mandatory and give them more importance in their course, some may refrain with this idea…but if we couldn’t able to perform on projects itself, how can we able to sustain after getting to global market; initially it might be hard, but with support of our peer and lecturers we can excel gradually.
Now, we all should be assigned project works by our colleges in collaboration with national education body (now MHRD), only on all governmental assets and organisations….here comes a game changing shot. But, how is it possible?

The government must allow all the students to study governmental organisations, properties, and projects build by them.(let’s say a dam, hospital etc…). This helps to make an assessment for the quality of work being done in various govt fields and organisations. The reports submitted by students can be used by anti corruption agencies and help them to understand the situation at very ground level. As it’s not possible for anti corruption agencies to keep an eye over every inch of the whole country, they can use this student community as a strongest trustworthy network as they don’t provide false reports, if in case; the professor and the whole college who guided him will be felt guilt, and leads to their lack of reputation in society. so, this locking system can help students ro not provide false reports.

All the students must be allotted some projects on live aspects(like dams, hospitals ,industries built and being run by govt) in their respective fields, and we have to start analyzing their maintenance and prepare and submit the report of it’s quality and working efficiency. Here itself, we get an opportunity to dig up the flaws went up and to make a change by preparing efficient reports of the atrocities made and corruption that underwent.

For say, i’m a student of civil engineering, got a project to understand about kaleshwaram dam and have to submit report on it. I started by when it has built, and how much cost it took, what are the materials used in it, what are the technologies use in it, why does the walls of the dam is being getting cracks just after 5 years of its inauguration, what is the reason for recent fire accident……..when i submit the detail report to the college, I am gonna get my marks
The above said will be the work of every student in every field, not only engineering also health, law, agriculture, finance and every field.
Instead the anti corruption bureau working on intensive ground level, they can collect all the project reports form all colleges and will be easier for them to take action, by using the information.
As, it is a real time project, the professor of individual group must take care of no flaws and genuinity of information, as it will be a major source for higher govt authorities to take action.
In simple, students has to set on to study the past govt projects and organisations; and the detailed project reports and student community acts as a strong surveillance framework and it bring out the corruptions of the past as well as prevents the corruptions of the future. This idea, if it honed by the bright minds of our country, it can surely be an influential act.

Reasons to keep negative people at bay

Do you want to be a successful person in life? Do you want to stay motivated and keep working hard to reach your goals? I am pretty sure you do. In fact, everybody does. Well, if you are really looking forward to fill your life with joy and happiness, and to achieve success, then the one thing which you should do right away is to cut ties with negative people. Below are some of the reasons that might help you realise who your real well- wishers are and why you should remove toxic people from your life.
1) Alters your outlook towards life-
If you surround yourself with people that constantly shakes your confidence and makes you feel miserable about the life goals you have set to achieve, making you believe that you won’t be able to achieve those, then your attitude towards life gets changed. It becomes negative and you start seeing the world through the perspective of your toxic friends, without even realizing it. Such humans does no good to you but what they would do is discourage you time and again and would attempt to drag you down with them to the darkish side.
2) Alters your belief sytem- The problem with negative people is that if you hang around with them often, and listen to them for long enough, they would begin impacting your thinking, and you would quickly recognize that as an alternative of wondering positively you are questioning negatively. Before you even come in terms to it, it would begin impacting the way you assume or see the world and as a result it would alter your belief system when it shouldn’t.
3)Hinders your growth- if you are continually around negative people, it would hinder your overall growth as a person in life. As, already said negative people would often give you negative feedback, and so over the time you would start believing them, which would ultimately affect your growth, as you will by no means try taking the risk to do what you really want to or would never have the courage to chase your dreams.
4) You deserve to stay happy- When in doubt we often seek help from our friends and take treasured advice, people having good intentions for you would always encourage you to dream big and to believe in your ability to achieve it. Negative people on the other hand would advice you exactly the opposite. They would make you believe that you can’t achieve your dreams or your dreams are too big to be achieved, ultimately crushing your self-confidence, and self-worth. You will forever be in self-doubt. So it’s better to break ties with such people and fill your life with joy and happiness, because you deserve to stay happy.
Now, it’s completely up to you to decide upon the kind of people you really want to keep in your life. You can keep those who pull you down and make you feel miserable or you can simply choose to leave such people behind and keep only those who lifts your spirit during difficult times, the choice is yours.Choose your friends wisely because what matters in the end is quality friends over quantity!

COVID-19 Pandemic Led to Delays in Care for Nearly Half of Breast Cancer Survivors

Breast Cancer is nowadays rapidly increasing in the urban Indian women. The early weeks of the COVID-19 pandemic caused 44% of breast cancer survivors to have a delay in care, according to an online survey.Because COVID-19 is so contagious, and to save healthcare resources for people diagnosed with COVID-19, many hospitals and other healthcare facilities delayed or cancelled elective procedures beginning in March 2020. Elective procedures included anything that didn’t need to be done to save someone’s life. Breast cancer screening was considered an elective procedure, so many mammograms were delayed or cancelled. Some breast cancer surgeries and other treatments also were delayed, changed, or cancelled.

The researchers from the University of Illinois Chicago who did this study wanted to see how changes in healthcare due to the pandemic affected people who had been treated for breast cancer. The researchers wrote a 50-question online survey to figure out how the COVID-19 pandemic had affected breast cancer care. The researchers invited adults who had been diagnosed with breast cancer to complete the survey by sending invitations via email, posting on social media, and sending invitations to breast cancer support networks. The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic has had a profound impact on cancer care across the globe. Early data indicate increased risk of COVID-19 morbidity and mortality for cancer survivors.

Delays in a routine or follow-up doctor appointment were the most common, followed by delays in breast reconstruction surgery and diagnostic imaging or testing.About 30% of the respondents said they had a delay in treatment, including radiation, infusions, and surgery to remove the cancer.

As time has passed, doctors have seen how protective procedures, such as wearing a face mask, washing your hands, maintaining physical distancing, and avoiding gathering with people in a group, have helped slow the spread of the virus. So most facilities are once again offering all aspects of breast cancer care, including screening.

During the pandemic, the weekly average number of people diagnosed with these six cancers dropped by 46.4%. Specifically, breast cancer diagnoses dropped by 51.8% — from 2,208 to 1,064.

“Our results indicate a significant decline in newly identified patients with 6 common types of cancer, mirroring findings from other countries,” the researchers wrote. “The Netherlands Cancer Registry has seen as much as a 40% decline in weekly cancer incidence, and the United Kingdom has experienced a 75% decline in referrals for suspected cancer since COVID-19 restrictions were implemented.

“While residents have taken to social distancing, cancer does not pause,” they continued. “The delay in diagnosis will likely lead to presentation at more advanced stages and poorer clinical outcomes. One study suggests a potential increase of 33,890 excessive cancer deaths in the United States.”
