Being Kind

9 Ways To Be Kind To Yourself - What It Really Means

My articles have often been about behavior and actions that have a negative impact on people and how there needs to be change and improvement with it. During these times, I have also put out how important it is for oneself to look after themselves. Sometimes, it tends to be lost or overlooked with the main topic. Therefore, today my article is entirely going to be about how it is important to be kind to ourselves.

Importance of Being Kind to Oneself

Every day as a child through our growing years, we learn how important it is to inculcate good manners into our lives. We learn how we should help others, are kind to others, not be rude to others, and so many more things. We learn how our actions can have a consequence on others. We become more aware of the right treatment towards other people. We understand the importance of being good to others. However, what we fail to learn is how our actions and behavior have a consequence to ourselves as well. Therefore, the right kind of reinforcement to ourselves is also very important. We must consider ourselves as our friends so that we learn to be kind and positive to ourselves. We have often heard it is important to look after ourselves first and then other people. It is in the same manner that we first are nice and kind to ourselves and then to others.

Let me ask all the readers out there, would you call your friend rude or harsh for no reason and constantly keep complaining and taunting them? Of course, you would not do something like that. Then why do it to ourselves? How fair and equal are we being to our bodies and mind? These are some of the questions that we need to ask ourselves when we are so harsh and bad to our minds and body. Nobody needs to go through the pain and suffering even if we inflict it on ourselves. We should be proud of our bodies and mind no matter who says otherwise or what happens. Being kind to ourselves is the first step forward and betterment of society, community, and the world.

Let me ask all the readers out there another question. How often have you called yourself useless or worthless just because you did not do what you had thought in mind or had a minor inconvenience? Each individual will have a different number of instances but will surely have one. This shows how we are not kind to our bodies and mind. The body and the mind constantly work and produce several information and thought and yet face backlash when something small goes wrong. We often forget to credit ourselves for the amount of work and energy we put in every single day. It is high time we start being grateful for the things we have. Here I do not mean things like money, power, clothes, etc. What I am referring to is our mind, body, health, our ability to think, our ability to understand things, etc.

The most unfortunate thing is that today everything has become a competition among human beings. In this process, we have completely forgotten to look after ourselves and be there for ourselves. We expect our bodies to act like machines and work extra almost every time. To reach the impossible expectations we make our body and mind suffer so much that in the end, it all becomes itself. The standard idea of being thin is beautiful makes us to go such extremes with our body and mind. We do not provide the energy and nutrition for it to function healthy and at the same time expect it to work the extra amount without and source to function. Even though we want to eat, we stop ourselves from eating just so that we look thin. This is just one of the most common instances that are here about how we are not kind to our bodies and mind. Many more things need to change so that we can live in peace with ourselves and who we are as individuals.

4 Benefits Of Being Kind To Yourself | Power of Positivity

How to be kind to ourselves?

There are so many ways one can be kind to themselves and make peace in the right way with who they are as individuals. These are some ways that I can think of. If there are more than you can think of after reading this article make sure to inculcate and speak about it as much as you can.

  1. Rewarding and thanking ourselves: One of the most common yet the most important ways you can be kind to yourself is by rewarding and thanking your body and mind. Let me give you an example. Suppose you have been studying hard for your exams the entire night before and you finish your exam and come back. You need reward and thank your body for working so hard by eating and sleeping the right amount. You should give your body and mind to relax and freshen up before you sit with your exams. This is one of the instances there are many more that we experience in our daily lives.
  • Do not punish yourself: There is a belief among people that only if they punish themselves will they be more productive. This is completely not true rather just a thing to justify negative things that are present in society. Let me use a similar example. Suppose you have worked hard for your exams but you did not do your exam well. If you do not give your body, mind enough amounts of sleep and nutrition, sit, and study for the next exam without relaxing your body and mind then it means you are punishing your body and mind even though you have done your best. This is not right and should change as an individual and as a community.
  • Do not compare yourself: This has become a common problem behavior among people, which needs to change. It is way beyond time that we realize that we human beings are very different not just physically but also mentally and emotionally. We human beings have different capacity levels, which makes us so unique from one another. If everyone is the same then what is the difference between the robots and us? Though this sounds like a very cliché question, it is something we must think and ponder about.
  • Never change yourself because of the negative things people say: One of the most crucial things in being kind to yourself is about never making any changes in yourself that are good just because people say otherwise. Let me give an example. If you are, a sensitive person and people keep telling you that you need to stop being sensitive and need to change yourself for any reason and you do it, then that is not being kind to yourself. You need to believe in yourself and stand for who you are and there is nothing wrong with that.

I can go on and on about how important it is to be kind to yourself and the different ways that you can be too. However, I also think it is important for people to think about this, realize on their own, and do it because they want to and not because they read about it in an article. This needs to come from the within and towards yourself on your own.

To conclude, with a beautiful quote by Anita Moorjani where says, “Transform your world by transforming your internal state. Start by learning to let go of negative self-judgment, and replace it with positive and loving thoughts about yourself. Be kind to yourself, and watch the external world change.”

Youth Source Of Endless Energy.

Nathan Thomas, who was president of the Raleigh Midtown Rotary Club at age 23 and will become district governor in 2022-2023, witnessed the joy firsthand. Thomas, now 27, founded All We Are, a non-profit organization that oversees the Solarize Uganda Now (SUN) project. Working together, they secured a $2,000 grant from the clubs committee on international affairs to install LED lighting at a school and shelter for underprivileged young women in Uganda.

He invented the “International Youth Party” because it symbolized the movement and was a good pun. Abby Hoffman and the Yippies first proposed a “Festival of Life” in the park prior to the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

First, it was intended to strengthen the reputation of the coal industry. Second, it was designed to secure coal as the main source of energy in today’s post-war society. It is one of nine paintings in a series commissioned in 1945 by the Coal Institute and the Benton and Bowles advertising agency. In this context, we might wonder what place this 1945 work occupies, which supposedly glorifies the power of industry over the common people, the workers.

It’s all about attitude, they say, as if attitude itself isn’t determined by energy. It often turns out that it is energy, strength and motivation that are not enough to achieve goals. Only the right profession can become an endless source of energy and strive for continuous improvement. The dedication, hard work and desire for knowledge of young people will not only help them lead a fulfilling life, but will also become their contribution to society.

It is important to recognize the role of young people in the success story and to educate and motivate them to build a better society. Hence, it is well said that youth is the powerhouse and storehouse of infinite energy and the pride of society. Our budding youth are seen as the future power as the leader of the nation. Needless to say, promising young people are seen as the future power as the leader of the nation.

They make the best decisions in life and are full of spark, courage, and work to bring about positive change in society. Youth activism is participation in a community organization for social change. If anyone can view young people as a national savings account, he should know that today it is like an investment, he will benefit from it in the next few years.

An immense amount of energy, feelings and enthusiasm in the blood, passion in the body, will know that these are the qualities of a young man. But a young person turns these hardships, stresses and problems into responsibility, passion and will, and this is the power of energy that young people have. The burden can be stress at work, money problems, not being able to get the job you want, not being able to do exactly what you want, being rejected, choosing the wrong path, etc.

In the battle of life, problems and difficulties will arise at every moment of life. Only young people can easily deal with these difficulties and win the battle of life. My hope is for you, “Imagine the power of boundless energy that a young man has, a great man putting his hopes in his youth. You can be young, smart, and hopeful, but if you feel it 100% of the time Frustrated and lethargic, then all your youth and potential is meaningless. Without the energy and ability to act and fulfill, all your best intentions don’t count as licking.

Energy is fuel. It inspires all the good things in life, whether it’s creativity, productive work, innovative solutions to life’s problems, personal development, rich relationships with others, or simply having a strong body, a clear mind and intense happiness from emotional well-being. The great thing about energy is that it nourishes and encourages oneself in a certain way. Energy, whether mental or physical, is like your personal life context.

You can think of energy as the most primitive and fundamental type of wealth. After all, we are all living beings; we are all organisms that need energy to work, move, communicate, and live. It doesn’t matter how many other good things happen in your life; if you don’t have the energy to interact with them properly, appreciate them, bring them to life, it’s like there are none of those good things at all.

The idea that you can train, train, or even heal in a constant state of enthusiasm, charisma, and contentment lends an air of devotion to the energy appreciation dance. Individuals endowed with it may attribute this to their virtue, perseverance, or self-discipline, and sometimes use the descriptor “low energy” as mild, as if Eeyore are contagious. Or it could be kindness, consideration, optimism, humor, the ability to make other people feel good.

The energies of B. and M. are of different types that you project or perceive in others, but are related. It is clear that despite our best efforts, energy is not distributed evenly due to heredity or fate, nature or upbringing. Victini (Pokemon) can generate unlimited energy that he can share with others to ensure absolute victory.

By removing his Inhibitor Rings and becoming a Shadow of Chaos, Shadow the Hedgehog (Sonic the Hedgehog) can absorb an infinite supply of Chaos Energy, becoming a raw and uncontrollable dynamo of power. Using food immersion, Toriko can absorb and store more nutrients from food in his body than normal, allowing him to store an almost unlimited amount of energy and survive for abnormal periods of time without food or water. Jugosa’s (Naruto’s) body constantly absorbs natural energy, providing him with an infinite supply of life energy to use at will, although it also corrupts his sanity from time to time.

The energy of this water cycle, which is powered by the sun, can be used to generate electricity or for mechanical activities such as grinding grain. Since the water cycle is an endless and constantly recharged system, hydroelectricity is considered a renewable energy.

There are various types of hydroelectric power plants; they all feed on the kinetic energy of the water flowing downstream. Turbines and generators convert energy into electricity, which is then fed into the power grid for use in homes, businesses, and industries. Aerobic metabolism uses oxygen from the blood as a way to produce energy.

Specifically, the researchers looked at how energy production and recovery rates after exercise differ between children (young male participants aged 8 to 12), endurance athletes, and adults who were not trained athletes.

In the lab, he hooked up subjects to an oscilloscope (one of them was the young Willy Brandt, future chancellor of West Germany) and, using a microscope, discovered pulsating particles he called “bions”, which he said were the source of a mysterious life force called orgone. . Rockwell Kents’ Infinite Energy for Infinite Life presents the vital role of man in turning coal into energy.

Beauty And Brains

Usually, I start an article by writing a quote and speaking about my topic. Today, however, is one of those days where a quote will not speak about the importance of the topic. My article today is going to be about something that is alarming and yet very normal in every society. Let me ask all the readers out there how many times have you heard people say the sentence ‘beauty and brains’ to you or other people around you. I am sure the number of people who have heard it is very high. This is because society has set certain standards for beauty, which is highly questionable and even for brains though we know very little about this organ. Today my article is going to be about how problematic the idea s behind the sentence “Beauty and Brains”

Understanding the Sentence “Beauty and Brains”

The sentence beauty and brains mean that people who meet the societal standards of beauty and smartness fall under this category. The typical understanding of beauty in society is being fair, slim, long hair, clear skin, etc everything is perfect according to a man’s eyes. This is not just limited to women it is for men as well as men themselves. The idea of beauty that society holds is often questionable because beauty is not something that is just for a certain group of people rather it is a feeling that everyone must have for themselves and others. The idea that people who do not fall into this is category is not racial discrimination but also much more than that.

The idea of beauty stems from the rules and regulations that are by patriarchy, which tells people how they are supposed to look even though people have almost no control over how they will look. The idea of inclusion and exclusion plays an important role in categorizing people especially concerning the way they look. How many times have people with a darker shade of skin been asked to apply various kinds of cosmetic products just so that they can belong to the category of beauty? Alternatively, how many times have people been told to try various products so that one’s skin is clear and does not have any acne or blemishes? I am sure every woman or girl has been through this process because I have been through this myself. It takes a lot of time to unlearn such unhealthy practices that often push us to be a part of this category and that is completely normal. I would also like to say that having anything perfect is disbelief and it is high time we get over it. Nobody can nor should define your beauty.

The idea of beauty that is present in society is because of the perception of beauty made by people who made these rules. A few perceptions cannot be universal. Natural things are blessing should not be made something that needs to be rid of. It is time we accept the way we are and love ourselves for the way we look rather than trying to achieve the impossible standards set by others.

The other that is also problematic in this sentence is the idea of brains. In a constant society where smartness is parallel to the number of marks that one score, the “brain” of a person being put at stake is very sad and yet annoying. Another thing that needs consideration is that every human being is different and therefore each one will have a different level of intensity of intelligence. Just because, someone is not good at one thing does not mean they are not smart or do not have brains. People are learning something new every single day. The amount of time taken to grasp information is may vary but does not make them less smart or anything else.

The idea of brains again comes from the line of perfection and unattainable expectations that is set by people who themselves cannot reach them. We are in the 21st century and we are constantly developing so much yet there is a large amount of our brain that we do not know yet. A few subjects or a few exams cannot define our smartness. Therefore, it is very problematic when someone questions or judges a person based on a few situations and circumstances.

Things are slowly changing. People are redefining the sentence beauty and brains by bringing about changes, awareness, etc. However, we still find so many people enforcing this idea and sentence through the positive direction. This is not just problematic to them but also the society and community as well.

Stop Accepting The Phrase 'Beauty With Brains' As A Compliment

Why the sentence “Beauty and Brains” is problematic?

Saying the sentence beauty and brains to someone is problematic because it means you are subjecting to a kind of category. The belief that if someone has beauty then they will not have brains is portrayed in society in so many ways. Let me give you all an example. If a movie has to show a person who scores well then what do, they do. They show that person does not have clear skin, wears glasses, or has braces, which are inclined to show that the person has brains and no beauty. In the same manner, beauty with no brains is also shown this shows how categorization is deeply embedded in the minds of the people.

If you have both beauty and brains then you are good enough. If you have either one of them then you are not that great and the worse thing is that if you do not have both according to society then you are nothing in society. It is painful to know that this still exists in society. Such ideas are responsible for creating a negative impact on people. People lose their self-confidence, feel worthless and useless and so much more. They might start doing things that they do not like just so that they are accepted in society. During this process, they put what others are saying and even lose themselves in this process.

We must stop categorizing people and bring about a better change in society so that people do not have to change themselves so that people are accepted in society.

To conclude, it is important to bring the natural self into society so that there is more acceptance, harmony, and understanding among the human civilization and bring about a happy future for the next generation.

The Chosen Family

Family vs. Friends: Comparing Key Relationships | LoveToKnow

I was going through my phone and, I read these meaningful and deep lines that say, “A Friend is someone who accepts who you are, but also helps you become who you should be.” By this, everyone knows what my article is going to be about today. Yes, today the article is all going to be about friendship. Let me ask all the readers out there.

How many times have we told out of anger, dismay, or sadness that we can stay alone and we do not need any friends? I am sure we all have said that at some point of time in our lives. Nevertheless, this entirely cannot be true. We human beings are social animals and therefore, we cannot be alone for long. We constantly need people around us even if we say otherwise. It is not necessary that we need to find our friends with human beings themselves. It can even be animals, plants anything that helps us have a strong bond and connection

Our progress and development over the years have always been about bringing people together, keeping them connected, meeting new people and so much more about just making things for humanity. Friendship is such an important thing in everyone’s life. Friendship plays such an important role in our lives. The reason I say that friendship is a chosen family is that it is you who decide with whom you want to spend your time. We tend to spend many hours outside our houses. Hence, what kind of friends we have plays a very important role in how things pan out for us. Yes, this might sound very cliché but it is very true. Friends tend to influence your actions, behaviors, thoughts and so much more. Sometimes we can see it but most of the time this happens unconsciously. When I say that one needs to see whether they are good people or not I do not mean it through their religion, looks, ethnicity, color, etc that one sees to judge a person. By right people, I mean through their thinking, actions, behavior, and goodness in their heart. These are true judges of the characters of a person.

There is another thing that one needs to keep in mind concerning friendship. Even if the friendship ends, people should not have any negative feelings about it. They should not speak badly about those people or have a sense of revenge. Rather I would suggest that they could cherish the good memories and move ahead positively about it. Friendship is a balance. If one takes it for granted then it is bad but if one takes it so seriously that it negatively affects them then that is also bad. This article is not to lecture anybody about their friendships rather just different perspectives, ideas, and thoughts that are present in the world.

Happy Friendship Day 2021: Wishes, Messages, Quotes, Images, Pictures and Greeting Cards | The Times of India

Is there a right type of friendship?

Often there is confusion about whether there is a right type of friendship or not. According to me, it is both yes and no. Let me explain the answer. Yes, there is a certain type of friendship. A friendship is something that helps people in it grow and move forward and in the right manner. If only one person is moving forward and the other one is facing the negative impact of being in that friendship then it is clear that it is not the right type of friendship. Again, this might sound very cliché but friends are often those people outside your family that help you grow and become better individuals in society.

Friendship is one of those relations where people do not judge you for your actions and at the same time if your judgment is wrong then they guide you show you a new path. Friendship is so precious because this relation helps you have your individuality and at the same time bring about the right changes in each other’s lives. The right type of friendship is when there is a positive impact on everyone’s life that is a part of the friendship. The decision of the rightness of a friendship should not be a decision made by someone outside the friendship. These are decisions that one has to make take on their own after seeing all the factors that play a role in their lives. Another thing, which makes any friendship right, is when mistakes are made by anyone in those relations they apologize and make sure that these do not happen again. If the idea of personal ego exists in a friendship negatively between anyone and that friendship is not right for anyone. There is nothing wrong with apologizing when you make a mistake, especially in a friendship.

When I say no there is no there is nothing like the right type of friendship I mean in the things that go about in the friendship. There is no certain type of friendship. People in a friendship do not necessarily have to talk every day to be under the category of friendship. People can talk once in a blue moon and still have the same feelings and connections in their friendship. People do not have to meet every day or see day to be in a friendship. When there can be long-distance relationships they why cannot there be long-distance friendships. People do not need to have alike thoughts, ideas, or perspectives to be friends and share a good relation. There are so many more things that society has set labels for good or strong friendship that do not necessarily have to be true. Though in friendship certain needs to be in mind and should follow however, there is no rulebook for friendship.

Yes, some friendships last for years together and some friendships last only a few years, weeks, or months and that is completely okay and natural. It is high time that we understand and normalize growing out of the friendship. It is completely okay to have two friends, as it is completely okay to have ten friends in your friendship circle. Friendship has and does not have limitations and boundaries. Some are crossable and some are not crossable. The decision is all of the individuals.

To conclude, with a beautiful quote by Invajy where he says, “A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.”

HOW THE BLOGS CHANGE THE LIVES OF PEOPLE?

“ Creativity is Intelligence having fun.”

This quotation is indeed suitable for people who think to begin a career as a blogger. Firstly let us understand what exactly blogging is. A blog is an online journal or an informational website displaying information in reverse chronological order. It is a platform where writers or group of writers share their views on a particular subject. It was first started in the year 1994 when people used to share bits of their lives online and hence it became a great market of ‘Blogging’. Nowadays, there is also a new form of blogging called ‘Vlog’, which certainly means a ‘Video Blog’. Now, it is largely used by companies to promote their website and products. The main purpose of blogging is to reach the targeted audience. The more frequent your blog posts are, the more are the chances for the growth of your website.

Now, here comes the question regarding the earnings of a blogger. So, let me tell you that bloggers do earn money but it is not that easy process that will make you rich overnight. It requires a lot of planning with patience and skills that catch the eye of the reader.

A career in blogging demands a lot of patience as it is not to accomplish a feat within too short a time. Let me introduce you to the most famous blog. “ ZenHabits.net ” was founded by Leo Babauta and quickly became one of the most popular motivational blogs in the world. The blog covers topics like motivation, inspiration, finding happiness in the little things, being productive, and practicing mindfulness. A blog does not succeed overnight. It requires consistency towards your skills such as reading and gaining knowledge, learning new things and working on the ability to convert your beliefs and thoughts into words. If you become consistent and good at your work then with time you will start receiving offers from various companies which will kick start your career.

Below is the list of the top ten highest-earning bloggers :

1. HuffPost$500 million per year

2. Engadget$47.5 million per year

3. Moz$44.9 million per year

4. PerezHilton$41.3 million per year

5. Copyblogger$33.1 million per year

6. Mashable$30 million per year

7. TechCrunch$22.5 million per year

8. Envato Tuts+$10 million per year

9. Smashing Magazine$5.2 million per year

10. Gizmodo$4.8 million per year

These blogs have not become successful overnight. It took great efforts and compromises from them to be at this level today. Indeed, blogging can change lives. A person who belongs to a middle-class family, where not many amenities are provided because of financial issues, develops an interest in content writing and finds out that he/she is good at it. One can make a career in this field as it is emerging nowadays. People who used to blog are now calling themselves influencers which is the same thing. They promote brands, put their thoughts into them and earn a great amount of money for their creativity which is also fun for them.

Blogs not only change the lives of people who write or create them. It also changes the lives of people who read and follow them. Bloggers try to connect with the audience for their attention. The audience feels the connection between them and therefore tries to follow their words which creates a great impact on their lives. That is why content writers should also keep in their mind to bring out positive thoughts because there are millions of people whose lives are impacted.

In the end, I would quote that, “It’s not the life you are creating, it’s the lives you are impacting”

The Natural Self

My fight against body shaming made me aware of how patriarchy feeds this vicious cycle - SheThePeople TV

As Wayne Dyer rightfully says, “Judging a person does not define who they are. It defines who you are.” Today my article is going to be about one of the evilest and most common things that happen in every society around the world. The topic for today is going to be body shaming. It is not surprising if this word rings a bell in your mind. The reason is very simple. It has become so common in our daily lives of listening, experiencing, and feeling negative after we experience body shaming. We in our real-life have also seen how body shaming comes into normalization and justification even today. It is sad and disheartening to know that even though people are aware that body shaming someone will bring about an upsetting consequence and still say or do things concerning body shaming.

Understanding Body Shaming

The definition of body shaming is very simple. When you make a derogatory comment, regarding the shape, size, weight, looks, color, or anything else that defines an individual or yourself for that matter then, it is body shaming. Now, that I have defined body shaming I am sure all of you are having flashbacks of instances where you have had an experience of body shaming yourself. The unfortunate thing is that society has set a certain standard for looks, and when that is not in a meeting, people experience body shaming. The standards are set for both men and women. Women have to look thin, fair, should have long hair, and have to dress in a particular manner, etc while it is nothing less for men as well. They have to be tall, strong, muscular, fair, etc. Body shaming is not just limited to a certain gender, race, age, etc. It is to everybody.

Body shaming has been there for generations now. Its roots come from prejudice, idealization, male gaze, fantasy-filled standards, and one of the most common things, which is patriarchy. Body shaming initiation in our minds has been happening right from the time we were small children in several ways we now understand.  Let me give you an example. Remember the time when we as children used to watch cartoons like Barbie or Ben 10? The women in both the shows were thin, fair, had long hair while the men were tall, fair, handsome, and even well built. The villains on the other hand had a crooked faces, fat, dark, and so on. This is just one example out of all the hundreds of cartoons that are out there even today. The standardization for body shaming is through this process. Let me give you another example. Next time while watching a movie just give it a thought of why the main characters have the standard body while the co-actors do not.  Pay a little more attention to the subtle, indirect, or sometimes even the direct body shaming that is through dialogues.

People should understand that body shaming could be done by anybody. Your friends, relatives, or even your parents could do it. Whoever does it is wrong and nothing can justify those actions. Another that also needs to be here is that comparing two people for their bodies is also body shaming. Body shaming does not necessarily have to be just about a person being fat. It could even be about a thin person. It is very simple. Body shaming anyone about anything is bad and should not happen. If you are being critical about yourself and questioning your own body then you are body shaming yourself. This is also bad. There are many reasons why one is body shaming themselves. One of the most prominent reasons because of the engraving one has had from childhood about meeting the standards. There are several other reasons such as social media, peer pressure, etc.

Effects of Body shaming

The effects of body shaming are so many that one cannot even imagine. Suppose someone insults you about something, then the things that one feels are the same when but the intensity is much higher when someone body shames you. When an individual has experienced body shaming then they lose self-confidence, self-trust, a sense of guilt, obsessive thoughts, fear and so much more. These are just some of the small effects that I am referring to. There are so many more. If body shaming is persistent for a long period in individuals, it could also result in mental disorders, eating disorders, etc which is something nobody deserves to suffer. The effects of body shaming are seen physically, mentally, and emotionally. We have seen people justifying body shaming with the idea of helping, fitness, concern for health and so many more things. Let this be clear that the reasons that it is justifying body shaming are the ones that take a toll on the individual. As Laci Green has rightly said, “You do not encourage people to take care of their body by telling them to hate it.”

Yes, there is change because of awareness, people talking about it, the spread of the right kind of information, therapy, change in thinking in society and so much more. This should not stop here. It should go on until body shaming becomes history. Nobody should feel horrible or ugly with the way they look. Everyone deserves to be happy with themselves and nobody should or gets to say otherwise. It is high time standards are thrown away and everyone has their freedom with their own body. It is now that we learn to embrace our natural self and make sure that our future generation does the same too. EVERY BODY IS BEAUTIFUL. I am not going to disagree when people say it is going to take time to unlearn things, but while being in that process one should be able to change and not repeat the same things as well. The responsibility of removing body shaming is not just on one individual or a certain group. Every single person, society, country, government, and world should collectively do it.  A new year is just starting which is giving us time to remove evils and make this world a better place to live. Let us come together and use this year to bring peace, happiness, and harmony not just with others but also with our inner self.

To conclude with a beautiful quote by Eve Ensler where she says, “Stop trying to fix your body. It was never broken.”

This Too Shall Pass

Exam Dp For WhatsApp | Downlaod Exam Images | Exam quotes, Exam dp for whatsapp, Exam quotes funny

As the new year of 2022 has arrived after a long triumphant journey of 2021, we all now have the opportunity to write a new story for ourselves. As we start with the first month of January, we all are at the same time gearing up for exams that are going to start very soon. I do not know how many are feeling the stress the moment I say the word “exams” but I for sure feel it every time I think about it. Now that everyone is aware of what I am going to talk about let, we get straight to it. The article is going to be about exam stress and the things we can do to make the situation of exams better for ourselves as individuals.

Why do we stress during exams?

To be very frank and I am not here to blame any government the past or the present, the problem of stress with exams is not just limited to the individual’s ideas and perspectives but the system of education also plays a very important role in it. Today the situation has come to such that if one mug up everything from the textbook and do not understand what they are reading and score well, then people see these individuals with the presumption that they are smart and intelligent. The stress of exams comes from a place of scoring well and not from the place of understanding the subject. I have often heard people saying that if the person has done their entire studying well, then they will not stress about exams. This is not at all true. Every child will stress about exams and it is natural with the competition they are constantly dealing with but what people forget is that each child is different; therefore, the intensity of stressing about exams will also be different. A little amount of stress is good. It helps us be alert and makes sure that we do not take things for granting and put our effort and hard work towards our exams. On the other hand, too much stress about the exam is not good for anybody. It not only affects us emotionally but, also physically and mentally. It might seem very conventional but even till today across the world under so many circumstances students feel a sense of identification with the marks that they score. Therefore, the stress of doing well in exams to meet the expectation of society still exists in the minds of people. I am not saying that people should fail or people should not do well in their exams. What I am saying is that the stress of performing well in exams should not be so much that it creates a sense of fear or over-expectation that will result in something negative. There are several other reasons why one stresses during an exam. It could be personal, familial, cultural, environmental, and so many more. I am not blaming anybody. I am just stating things that are still present in society while we can see slow change and improvement in it. Not many people will agree with what I say and that is completely understandable but it does not mean that this does not exist. It is important for people preparing for exams to understand that exams are not their final ones. We have so much more to learn, understand, and face practically in the real world.

There are so many exams one is going to write in their lives. One cannot be stressing about every exam excessively as it will be harmful to their health not just during that time but in the future as well.

Things individuals can do to reduce their stress during exams

  1. Understanding the concept: It is very important to understand and learn the concept while reading any subject. Be it math, English, or science. When an individual understands the concept, they will not only be able to answer the direct questions that come during exams but also the twisted or indirect questions that come from the topic. When you understand the concept, you do not learn it only for the period rather you will always remember it and be able to use it practically in the real world.
  2. Clear your doubts beforehand: Make it a point to clear all your doubts before the exams. This way the stress of exams reduces because there is very little space for confusion. When all the clarifications are done the concept becomes clear and easy to understand. Do not ask a doubt because everyone is asking and if you do not ask then you will look like a fool. Do not stop yourself from asking doubts because no one is asking and if you do then you will like a fool. It is time we get past these notions.
  3. Take small breaks: Exams can be very hectic and stressful. Therefore, we must remove the notion that taking small breaks is waste of time because that is not true. Small gaps of break are necessary for our brains to grasp the information and retrieve everything that we understand and learn. A small break helps us to relax and stretch our bodies a little before we start studying again. It has been under the recommendation that taking a 20-minute break during our long hours of study helps us a lot.
  4. Do not skip your meals: Often when people are stressing about something their appetite decreases and they tend to eat less. This factor should come to such a level where people do not eat their meals on time or skip the meal and stressfully study for their exams. Three meals a day is very important because we as individuals tend to use more energy when we are studying. Therefore, to study efficiently we must provide enough amount of food to our bodies.
  5. Do things that you like and make you confident: when a person does things they like and makes, them confident regarding their exams it tends to reduce their stress about it. For example, some people like to write and learn which makes them confident about what they learn for exams while some people like to listen to calming music so that they can learn things peacefully which makes them confident about their exams thereby reducing stress about it. I leave it to the individual of doing the things they like, which makes them confident for their exams and reduces their stress regarding it.

I have mentioned some of the things people can do to reduce their stress during exams. There are so many more things that people can do to make exams less stressful for themselves.

Before I end this article, I would like my readers to remember that many exams shall come and go. Even if you do not do well in one exam, it is not the end of the world. I am not asking you to fail your exams, but even if by chance you do then it is completely okay. As long as you as an individual know that, you have put in your hard work and 100 percent that is that matters. I would like to conclude with a quote that is very important and it says, “Do not be afraid to fail. Be afraid not to try.”

A Resolution On Priority

7 Tips to Make Sure You Actually Keep Your New Year's Resolution This Time | Inc.com

As we are moving ahead to a new and better year, we all have made some kind of decisions or resolutions to make our lives better, more progressive, and more successful. Some people have made decisions regarding their physical health betterment. However, how many of us have been making resolutions or decisions to make ourselves better internally and mentally? The numbers are few and it is growing slowly which I am really happy and glad about. Therefore, my article today is going to be about how it is time for us to look after ourselves not just physically but, also emotionally and mentally. It is important to do this because we have no idea how 2022 is going to pan out for all of us. This year the pandemic is teaching us something important which is, putting aside our industrialized and mechanized world and starting caring for ourselves. Before I start a quote by Jack Kornfield, where he says, “If your compassion does not include yourself then it is incomplete”

The importance of prioritizing oneself.

There have always been constant assumptions that if one prioritizes them then are arrogant and selfish. This is not true in all cases. It is important to look after one emotionally and mentally as if they do of themselves physically. Let me ask you this question if you are physically incapable of doing things will you take a rest and get better by seeking medications and other help or will you just go about it until it gets worse? I am sure most of you will take a rest and relax until you feel better. Then why does no one do the same when they are mentally and emotionally not in the state to do something? People must start asking these questions to themselves and attempt to do things better for themselves internally. Self-care, self –preservation, and self-indulgence do not make an individual evil, bad, selfish, arrogant, or anything else that they are put in association with. When an individual prioritizes, one then they not only makes themselves better but they also make the society and environment a better place to live for others as well.

When an individual spends time with himself or herself they understand how they can make themselves better to deal and cope with things, it helps them work on their strength and weaknesses, helps them deal with issues and problems, not just the ones they are facing outside but even the ones internally as well. These are just some of them that have been put here but there are many more things that happen during the process.  When one learns to prioritize themselves, they become more confident, strong, powerful, trustworthy, etc with themselves, which is such an important to have as human beings. One of the most important things is when we prioritize ourselves, we see ourselves as human beings and not machines. We learn to be understanding, easy, and compassionate to ourselves just like how we are with others.

The reason I am specifying more on emotional and mental health is that even though we are getting progressive and developing we tend not to give enough importance to our mental and emotional health. Yes, with changing years, things are getting better but we can still do more. We often seem to acknowledge our physical health and problems whether they are big or small however, we do not do the same kind of acknowledgment to our mental and emotional health. There are various reasons for it such as cultural or ethnicity bias, societal taboo, fear, and so many more things that play a role in the way we see things. It is time we get over these and start prioritizing and bettering ourselves positively before it is too late.

An Important Priority during the Pandemic

As we are moving to 2022 and the Pandemic is coming along with us, it becomes even more important for us to look after our overall health of ourselves. The pandemic is somewhere responsible for us to create more importance and awareness towards better mental health. During the pandemic, we all were confiding into four walls. It is during that time that we realized that time how important it is to take a break from our hectic scheduled life and give some time of relaxation ourselves. This was the time when people realized that things can be overwhelming for everybody and it does not make anyone weak. We realized that anyone can have mental problems and it is not bad to have one and seclude them away from society. The taboo of mental health problems and emotional problems has been reducing over the past years because the problems are increasing and people can come over the myths and disbelief that they are holding mental health and that is thanks to information, awareness, and openness to experience change. Prioritizing things that we like and love has been one of the most important things in the lockdown. It could be the simplest thing as cleaning your house, cupboard, or rearranging your clothes, etc, or more intense such as getting back to things one is passionate about such as painting, singing, drawing, etc. It could even be just relaxing oneself and binge-watching shows. Whatever one does it should make them feel better and relaxing. The pandemic has been responsible for really sad, disheartening, and big scars in our lives, which will never leave us, but it has also taught us some important lessons of life, which we should never forget.

My article is not going to be long and it is not going to tell everybody what he or she should do to prioritize themselves. Rather what I am going to tell them is that they should make a point to put it on their resolution list or just a reminder into their daily lives so that we can make this world and ourselves a better place and people to live. We must realize that money, power, success is not the only things that keep our world running and moving ahead. It is also kindness, generosity, compassion, trust that are responsible for keeping this world and people ahead towards a brighter future. To conclude with a beautiful quote by Mandy Hale where she says, “It is not selfish to love yourself, take care of yourself, and to make your happiness a priority. It is necessary”

Let bygones be bygones..

Everywhere, everytime what we observe is nothing more than the unhappy moments. Or may be we have become habitual of seeing everything in negative perspective.

Just ask someone, “how’s life going on”, & you will get the replies like these, “Ok”, “Not good”, “Bad”, “It’s just going on, don’t ask how”. You”ll find only a few who”ll reply you,”Oh.. It’s awesome..” or “it’s fantastic”. It simply shows that if not frustrated, people aren’t really happy with their lives.

And if you starting asking them the reasons, then you’ll soon realize that a thing is common among most of their problems.

The Past, or I must say the memories of past are the reasons behind most of our problems. I’m not saying that one should forget everything about the past. But it’s not worthy to live in past at all.

Worrying about what has happened,or what you’ve said to someone, or what someone once said to you, or how you broke up with someone or something, or how you shouldn’t have wasted your time, or how you should have done this or that thing or how you shouldn’t have done this or that thing isn’t ok. These worries make one less happy & more frustrated.

The life isn’t all about your past, it’s much more than this. Ok, it’s not easy to get over the memories, how good or bad they were, doesn’t matter. But just remember, that it’s not the memories, which are bothering you, but it’s your over thinking that makes you feel frustrated.

If something has happened in past, just learn from it. Grow up, be mature, don’t over think about the past incidents.

Focus on present, let the bygones be bygones.

Happy Reading…🙂

11 Lessons from Bhagavad Gita Which Teaches The Very Roots Of Our Life

1. Concentrate On Your Goal Do Your Work And Focus Not On The Result

You have a certain goal in mind. To work to the topmost position in your care. Will we take the example of CEO? Your dream is to achieve the coveted position within five years. So, you will have to prepare for the role. Attending team management classes, keeping a hawk eye on the recent tech trends and all. But, you wail away time in dreaming about the perks and rewards of a CEO. Do you feel achievement of the goal is easy? NO, it is difficult. This is the main reason, Bhagavad Gita focuses on the importance of doing your duty rather than on the goal. When you focus on the rewards, you become prone to worries in case of failure. You also get depressed if the result is not positive. So it is always advisable to concentrate on the target. You can get more rewards after attaining the goal.

2. Human Life Is Full Of Battles: Never Shirk In fear – Fight To The Last, Stand Your Ground

The Supreme Power has created an even human being in a separate way – or will we say, Everyone is a MASTERPIECE. When every action you do turns negative against your goal, do not shirk in fear. Do not expect results. Always understand, it is fears and expectations that cause restrictions and limitations. A valuable lesson from Bhagavad Gita that can shape your future.

3. One of the Best Lessons From Bhagavad Gita: Identity, Recognize and Accept Equality in Life

Now, this quote is a difficult one to follow. But, definitely, life will guide any person towards achieving the knowledge. After facing many challenges in life, you tend to see all living and non-living beings as equal. Let it be any circumstance – the feeling of suffering and joy will mean the same. You realize, the bodies are different but the SOUL is one. And that is the ULTIMATE TRUTH.

4. Desires Will Come To Your Mind And Go

As a human being, you are prone to getting desires. Yet, you should neither suppress a desire nor allow it to take control of your life and mind. The lessons in Bhagavad Gita advises you to watch and enjoy the show. Remember, but doing evil actions just for the sake of fulfilling desires is harmful. Getting caught in the chains of desire will always end in harm, stress and the result – rebirth.

5. A Mind Full Of Thoughts About Money Cannot Concentrate Nor Meditate

You can find mentions of meditation in various parts of Bhagavad Gita. Meditation is the best form of non-physical activity to achieve “Inner Peace” and “Sadhana.” The quote says that a human mind hell-bent on only attaining money cannot focus on meditation nor indulge in the “Inner Self.” So, the concerned person’s mind will always be unstable, and meditation is out of reach.

6. Whatever Has Happened Is Only For The Good Future. The Activities That Are Happening At Present Are Also For A Good Cause. The Happenings In The Future, They Are Also For A Good Future

Hope, you understand the above sentences. It emphasizes on the continuance of doing your duty, no matter the result – victory or failure. So, there is no need to sulk. The worst, you can do is to put the blame on others for a failure or seek revenge. Please note, every activity in this world happens for a reason. To make you understand the importance of human life. Remember, there are also many other living beings such as plants and animals. But none can change their fate, but you as a human. So, feel proud to be one and stop dancing to the tunes of small failures. You can bask, one time in glory and there will be a bad phase, where everyone will put you on the firing range. But that is the cycle of life. It is foolish to pay attention to the past. Remember you can design a GREAT FUTURE if you concentrate on the PRESENT.

7. Change is Permanent. This is Universal Law. You can either become a billionaire or Pauper in a second.

Difficult to believe this Lesson from the Bhagavad Gita? Clarification via an explanation. Just imagine, a billionaire has more than his worth of money in the shares market. Suppose, the stock market went for a nose dive? What will be his fate – A pauper? Let us say, a poor man won a lottery worth millions of dollars. Okay, here is the real one. A student who is poor, by using knowledge wins a prize worth a million in a quiz competition. In short, permanence is never in a human life. Even our Mother Earth is in constant rotation. SHE never stops. After the night comes the day. Sweet rain comes only after Summer. All religions consider “pride” a sign of immaturity. When you accept change as a part of life, you can handle all the tough situations in a calm manner.

8. Fear Factor is a Disability

The achievement will be nil if you have the fear factor in the mind. Fear, in other words, means doubts in your ability. It will not only make you forget the goal out of fear but will make you worthless. But in case of fearless souls, the sky is the limit. Fear of the future and self-respect are the two obstacles to reach your goal.

9. You Are Born Empty-Handed, And You Will Leave This Mother Earth Empty-Handed

Are you on the path to gain more wealth? You will be taking none of the wealth nor other material possessions to your grave. You are born without a loin in this world, and your body goes the same way to the other world. Ahem! You cannot take even your mobile phone nor a picture of Ranbir Kapoor.

10. Lust, Anger as well Greed – Ways to Self-destruction

The three mentioned are always harmful to the entire mankind. Extreme craving for sex will turn a human into a sex maniac or nymphomaniac. Anger – people will think you are dominating them and you lose friendships/relationships. Greed – you are always restless. The body becomes host to problems such as high blood pressure and jealousy.

11. A Man Makes His Life Based On His Beliefs

Your thoughts define your life. If you think to be happy even in times of failure, you will be happy. If you let revenge take over the mind even in times of success, you harbor negative impressions. These are but two examples. Superstition, revenge, anger, insults are some negative impressions. They prevent us from becoming a human being.

The Bhagavad Gita is a vast book, but it is vital to learn it under the guidance of a MASTER. In this materialistic world, you are prone to negative feelings. It may be either because of your actions or others’. But when you become the Master of your own mind, you will never again feel the agony of pain or sorrow.

According to ancient texts, a human’s birth is to achieve the highest potential. In every religion, sacred texts show the followers the Divine Path. And Lessons in Bhagavad Gita gives us practical impressions of human principles. Let us read and make our life meaningful!

4) The Richest Man in Babylon

The Richest Man in Babylon is a 1926 book by George S. Clason that dispenses financial advice through a collection of parables set 4,000 years ago in ancient Babylon. The book remains in print almost a century after the parables were originally published, and is regarded as a classic of personal financial advice. This point is actually the crux of the book: the classic principle of paying yourself first. Clason recommends saving at least 10% of all income earned. Even in his example of those who are paying off debt, he still advocates setting aside this one-tenth. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Richest_Man_in_Babylon#:~:text=The%20Richest%20Man%20in%20Babylon%20is%20a%201926%20book%20by,classic%20of%20personal%20financial%20advice.
