MEANING OF MOTIVATION

In the above passage , two points draw the attention of the reader . First, the behaviour of the leopard was purposive – that he was trying to find out something by climbing on the snow -covered peak . Second, to understand the leapord’s behaviour , we would have to understand his purpose – what he was seeking . But one thing is sure that there was some force of motivation behind such action . Motivation is the main determinant of an individual’s behavior . The term ‘Motivation’ is derived from the word ‘Motive’ . Motive is a combination of of thought , feeling or condition that causes one to act . Motive can be for a short period or can be for a long longer one . If a child takes a colourful ball , he plays with the ball but if , in the meantime , he is attracted towards the other colourful ball , or toy, then we say that his motive for the first ball was a short period . But if a player wants to win gold medal at the international level and he/ she works hard for years to get the medal , we say that his/her motive is for longer period .

Human behavior is controlled , directed and modified through certain motives . When a person feels hungry and searches for food , we say that he/she is motivated by his/her drive , i.e. biological drive . When he/she gets food and is satisfied , we say that his/her drive for food has been fulfilled .

Motivation is one of the main psychological factors which affects performance . Motivation means to be inspired to do something . The definition of motivation is to give reason , enthusiasm or interest that causes a specific action or certain behaviour . Motivation is present in every function of life .

The following definitions may clarify the meaning of motivation more explicitly .

According to Crooks and Stein, Any condition , that might energies and direct our actions” is called motivation.

According to Sage, The drive to strive ” is called motivation .

According to Alderman, Motivation is the general level of arousal to action in an individual .”

Motivation is the inclination to persue and persist in activities related to one’s sports .”

What’s stopping you, is it your fear ?

From whom you are running , is it a failure ?

When to start , am I getting late ?

What if I hesitate , will they understand ?

In different phases of our life we faced different challenges that may be hard to accept and makes you feel ashamed of yourself.

Most of the time we think our fear might harm us but what we don’t understand is that , if we don’t face them it would never leave .

We hesitate , we fear , we run , we ignore , we lack and in the end we loose hope .

And what we are going to is to reconstruct that hope and trust ourselves . We might need some tools for that and one of them is MOTIVATION .

What is MOTIVATION ? How it works? Will it help ? And so on … There are many questions and the time is limited. So let’s begin .

Introduction

Being successful is not enough in today’s world . To keep the success we need a companion and that is Motivation.

Motivation has a powerful aura it can be your solution if only you used directly on your aim . I might play some tricks with you but the result will always be on your side .

Well it is going to be very hummy dumpy article but who cares (that’s not me ) . What’s important is what you learn from it .

The author Steven Pressfield wrote a great line in his book , The War of Art, which I think gets at the core of motivation.

“At some point, the pain of not doing it becomes greater than the pain of doing it.”

Well said pressfield , in other words (or my words) It is easier to take action , rather than sitting and self,- petrified ourselves.

Like it is easier for MOJO to prepare for his exam rather than think about the result OR It is easier for OJO to workout in the gym rather than sitting in the chair eating junk food . (Well I prefer junk food over gym , just ignore I said that .)

This I think is the core of motivation . To gain something we need to pay the price first . It may be time , energy , sacrifice , risk or it can be anything .

Take action

A lot of people get confused that how to find motivation and when to take action . They are wasting too much time for making plans and than for process . To make it easy find motivation and get started. The more you delay the more it get difficult.

If you waste resources trying to decide when or where to work, you’ll impede your capacity to do the work.

Their are some rituals needs to perform if you want to get motivated :

1. Exercise daily .

2. Become more creative.

3. Start your day stress free .

4. Sleep better .

5. Last but not the least do whatever makes you happy . ( But don’t do nasty things ) .

The Truth

The life that we are living is not a game to play . We need be realistic while taking decisions in our life . I don’t want to sound like an arrogant person . But we need to think before taking any decision because it may or may not harm our future . In our life we only focus on materialistic things and grow accustom to them . Which leads to the situation where we become selfish and fiercely jealous to one’s personality .

We judge them regarding to their status , money , power , clothes and their physique . Ding ding …. It’s time for the truth we become impetuous .

So what we learn from OJO -MOJO . 1. Like OJO that donot study and fail in your class. OR 2. MOJO that learn workhard and get award from the school . I choose options 1 (hehe don’t get any ideas I am a hardworker so I will choose my handsome MOJO not an overconfident OJO )


The REALITY

Not against the world of imagination just a believer of reality .

Life is not easy I agree with you but can we make it easy , Is the question only you can answer .

For me , we can only when we are focusing on our work rather than its result . I am not repulsive about getting a promotion on my first day on the work . But I am excited about learning new things and improve my capabilities . That how we need to react . I didn’t get the idea of getting a luxurious jet when I didn’t even have a penny to spend on my health . Well if you can just don’t forget to take me as well ( Huh.. greedy me ) .

I do imagine my life being in the island with some hot people around me ( its a wild imagination) . Well I can’t change that . But what I can change is the accept the reality ( like sitting in my PJ’s , eating popcorn and drooling over Michele Morrone yeah I am fan of 365 days ) .

Conclusion

Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.

How can anyone easily move on in their life

There are thousands of people in the world that are suffering from this problem. This is not problem that is related to the particular person but I think this is real problem we are facing now.

When we are talking about the move on first thought came into our mind that from the relationship but it is not true ‘move on’ means going forward from the present situations and the situation, maybe whatever for example, someone wants to move on from their failure, from their toxic relationship or any other problem. But whatever the dilemma move on is very important if you don’t want to waste your time. And you are the only ones who have the power to move from the present situations.

So in this post, we focus on some points that will help to move on in your life from the present circumstance.

1) understand the problem

when you are in any of this type of conditions like a breakup, career failure, or any other problem that trapped you in the past and not allow you to move with the present first of all, take some time and try to recognize yourself and understand your pain because no one will feel the condition of yourself, so try to understand it. You are the only one who will change yourself. So self-motivation is a very important thing in this phase of life and you have to try to maintain it, whatever the situation is.

2)Develop new habits

when you are suffering, you have to change your surrounding situation so that your mind has some distraction from the past feelings, for these, you should try to develop new habits like reading books, meeting new people or try to make one new memory per day. This is the only way when you get rid of the past sufferings.

3) Enjoy your own company

If you are the one who doesn’t like to meet new people so there is no compulsion that you have to meet new people. You can enjoy your own company tries to learn more about yourself, your habits, your goods and bad if you are doing the job and have lacking time so you can do this for only 1 hour . but do something that will motivate you, so that you become happy in this present situation.

4) learn some skills

If you have some spare time you can easily use it and try to learn some new skills, that will not only distract you from overthinking but also help you to enjoy various skills. there are lots of things that you will learn like painting, sketching, pottery, writing reading, learn a new language, etc lots of things that not only help you to learn some new things but also activate your mind.

5) avoid overthinking

Overthinking is just like a coupon that we all get after having a problem .there is a chance that we can forget the past situation but overthink never turned this to happen. so first try to avoid overthinking as much as possible. But for avoiding it you also have aware that you are overthinking so first of all try to know that when you are overthinking and that is not necessary .so at least try to avoid it.

Here are some best points that will help you to move on in your life and through these you can also learn some new ideas about how you can avoid being trapped in the past.
