Journaling and its benefits

Many of us might remember having a personal diary when we were teenagers. But with time, most of us also got over that habit, until recently when journaling has made a comeback and people are recognising the various physical and mental health benefits journaling has to offer. Journaling is simple, it has no set rules but is just a written record of our feelings and thoughts. It is how we track our everyday life and helps create a meaningful relationship with ourselves. Apart from just helping us de-stress, journaling every day does have numerous health benefits – both physical and mental. So if you keep wondering how exactly can maintaining a journal help you with your health – here’s a list of a few of the incredible things journaling can do for you!

  1. No more bottled-up emotions – We always long for a friend when we feel distressed, but admit it sometimes we might not always be comfortable and open to share. For these days, journaling does come to your rescue. It helps you vent out your feelings and thoughts, with no judgement coming your way. Writing your thoughts down helps you unwind and feel lighter. So the next time you’re very stressed or emotional, grab your diary and start journaling – it will help you feel a lot better.
  2. Managing anxiety – Journaling helps you take control of your emotions. When you are anxious, you are caught in the vicious cycle of overthinking. Journaling helps you break the cycle. You can write down your feelings, re-read them and look at situations from a different perspective. Maintaining a journal is highly recommended for stress management. Journaling also helps increase well-being.
  3. Helps you sleep better – Journaling can also include writing down a do-to list of the agenda for the next day, or even unfinished tasks. It then helps you feel asleep without worries and better. Writing about other positive events before bedtime also helps you sleep better as it redirects you from the negative thoughts and worries. Next time when you are tossing and turning while trying to fall asleep – consider journaling!
  4. Journaling improves memory – We all take notes while attending lectures because writing down makes it easier for us to remember stuff. Journaling also works similarly, it improves your ability to remember things. It is also great to remember certain important dates and events of your life. The physical act of writing brings information centerstage and lets your brain know it should pay close attention. The physical act of writing is a way to let the brain know to pay more attention to the information we’re giving it!
  5. Strengthens our immune system – Psychologist James Pennebaker says that journaling strengthens immune cells called T-lymphocytes. Writing gives structure to your feelings and helps you get past them, another researcher said. Though venting into a journal isn’t enough, new studies have shown that journaling does offer physical health benefits like increasing our immunity and also help people with serious health diseases cope up with their symptoms better.

                POPULATION EXPLOSION

Meaning of Population Explosion

It refers to the rapid increase in the population of an area among human beings. Furthermore, it is a situation where the economy is not capable of coping with the increasing demand of its population.

It is a major issue for developing countries. Also, the government is not taking proper measures to control this problem. Besides, it generates many issues in the country that cause many problems for people.

Causes of Population Explosion

The cause of the population explosion includes many factors and reasons. These include:

Increase in the birth rate- Due to lack of control on delivery and unawareness of people the birth rate is increasing rapidly. In addition, the gap between death and birth has gone way wider than what we can think of. Furthermore, the birth rate has increased many folds in comparison to the death rate.

A decrease in infant mortality rate- Mortality rate refers to the number of death of infants below the age of 6 months. Due to science and technology, we are able to minimize this rate and now only a few cases of death are known per thousand deaths.

The life expectancy growth- Earlier the life expectancy of people was around 55-60 years. But due to better and improved medical facilities, we are now able to increase the life expectancy of people. Now the average age of a person increased to 70-75 years.

Besides, these better living conditions, good quality food, better nutrition, and better sanitation facilities also helped in increasing life expectancy.

Effects of Population Explosion

The population explosion affects natural resources and many sectors of the economy in many ways:

Unemployment- Due to the increase in the population the demand for jobs and employment also increases. But, due to a lack of resources and employment opportunities, there are millions of jobless people in India.

In addition, the condition of unemployment is growing day by day. To face this problem most the people is either migrating to other countries for better job opportunities.

Poverty- Due to the large population there a large number of people who belong to below the poverty line and they do not have adequate knowledge of the overpopulation of the country. Also, they are the major contributor to a high birth rate.

Prevention of population explosion

There are various methods by which we can prevent a population explosion. The government can take measures to aware of the population about the various methods that can help in controlling the population. Also, it should implement some strong campaign for family planning and birth control.

High level of illiteracy- The literacy level of women is one of the biggest problems of family planning. In India, people pay very little importance to women’s education and marry them at an early age. That’s why they do not have knowledge about birth control methods and the use of contraceptives.

To sum it up, the population explosion has caused huge pressure on the surface of the earth. Also, we can control many issues of the earth by controlling population growth. Besides, many problems like food insecurity, illiteracy, poverty, and unemployment can be minimized by controlling the population.

Covid

Covid- 19 or corona virus disease is an infectious disease caused by a new virus called coronavirus. Those who are affected by this virus will experience symptoms like cough, cold, headache, fever etc. The virus is mainly transmitted from a person to another through fluids generated when an infected person coughs, inhales or sneezes. The virus can get inside through breathing if we are within close proximity with anyone who is Covid positive or by touching contaminated places and then to your eyes, mouth and nose. To stay safe from these virus we must wear mask, maintain social distancing and must be well aware about the ongoing circumstances.

Covid-19 and it’s impact on small scale industries

The covid-19 pandemic has hit the world big time. This pandemic has already completed close to two years of it’s existence and has caused negative impacts on all types of industries, but it has hit hard on the small scale industries the most. India’s export business is largely based on the export of the Indian small scale industries products. About 80% of the small scale industries have been suffering from this pandemic and about 70% expect it to be recovered within a year and get back to pre pandemic levels. This pandemic has made these small scale industries rely on the government’s support in-order to kick-start from where they left or to even start off fresh. These small scale industries also have a big challenge ahead, to target customer audience, to expand and have market access, having accessibility to finance amongst others. This pandemic has also brought about new challenges with respect to credit granting facility, having the support of the market, ie customers and a need for technological advancements in-order to cope with the challenges. This pandemic has made the adaptibility getting postponed because of the various other health facility challenges as well as boosting the economy challenges faced by the government, it’s their priority right now.

There are certain ways in which the government and other private agencies can tackle these challenges and boost the trust of the small scale industries on the government and the economy. These are my views on how the government can tackle these:

  1. Focus on the financial system of these small scale industries and allocate enough funds in-order to boost these industries in creating products and services and delighting customers.
  2. Bridging the gap between customers and producers and considering all the value chain activities with the attempt of deleting the activities which have no value.
  3. Customers need to shop from all the wholesalers and retailers in-order to boost their sales and stock up in-order to increase the production of these goods and services and and balance the demand and supply chain.
  4. Government should focus on providing incentives to these small scale industries so that they do not fall into the category of sick units and stope their establishment. These incentives will also boost the economy and the small-scale industries owners in giving services to the society.
  5. Government as well as private industries can focus on providing technological advances in terms of distribution of products and services and creating a consumer forum for solving grievances of their customers, and also focus on creating marketing strategies to boost their sales.
  6. A lesser cost advertising strategy can be implemented by the small scale industry owners in-order to boost their sales and attract their customers and create a market for production and distribution of goods and services. It can also start off within their locality and their friend’s cum acquaintances. Word-of-mouth marketing can generate good sales and services and reviewing the products quality and servicing to the owner and different groups and peers will ensure that there is an expansion of the customers within the area.
  7. Delivery of goods and services can be done through applications like dunzo, swiggy, etc. due to the ongoing condition in the country and this will also generate good revenue to the delivery executives and adds advantage to it’s customers.

Problems Of Jobs Pre-Post Pandemic In India.

Talking about jobs is always an important discussion in the developing and vast country like India. The need of the job can only  be understood when we see an unemployed person fighting to live during this period of pandemic without a job and also striking toward to get a job and not getting a single chance to get away through him to get a job. our government has also started various measures to develop the market as well as to help the needy like Make In India initiative, supporting startup programmes but it cannot do much to meet the need of the hour. This aspect of economy cannot be ignored if any of the country wants to develop  because if a country needs to develop the very first step is to strengthen the roots of the society that comes only when all people get jobs and only after that  there is some initial cash flow comes to the economy, which in turns help to boost the economy. The recent data according to CMIE shows that unemployment rate in DECEMBER 2020 rose to 9.1% which later in JANUARY reported to decrease to 6.5% positively which shows that there are signs of recovery, also according to Dr. Krishnamurti Subramanian our Chief Economic Advisor India’s economy shows the signs of V Shape recovery.

As we see employment and economy are the two sides of the same coin and economy of a country always suffer when the employment goes down in anyway. as this pandemic is turning out to be the greatest disaster of all times not only for India but for the world also . According to several reports  millions of people have lost their jobs in formal sector and informal (unorganized)sector does not have a count that is caused by novel corona-virus. However the pandemic could not be stated as the only reason for the ongoing job crisis. there are many aspects that can be responsible for the same. they are as follows:

  1. Overpopulation– the  ongoing and unstoppable exposure of population in India with no proper family planing leads to overpopulation and that ultimately results into the employment crisis which in turn relates to failure of government planning . for this the government had also introduced schemes to motivate citizens for the control of population with that the government has also started many educational programmes to educate parents to have not more than 2 children so that they can afford their family expenses and also would help in the upliftment of children .
  2. Dependence on agriculture – as major part of India lives in rural areas so the majority depends upon the agriculture for their livelihoods but agriculture being seasonal does not provide permanent employment to the vast population.for this the government should do some efforts for the development of the rural areas which would also help in control of migration of people from rural to urban areas.

Conclusion  as we know economy and unemployment are the two sides of the same coin they go hand in hand as the unemployment rate decreases economy will boost up and if unemployment rate would go up there will be a downfall in the economy. hence there comes the need for the proper planning and development for the growth of the economy and country as well

Shortage of medical drug(Remedesivir)

India on Sunday halted the export of anti-viral drug Remdesivir and its active pharmaceutical ingredients used in Covid-19 treatment, in the wake of a sudden spike in demand due to a steady rise in coronavirus disease cases across the country. In an official press release, the central government said it is expecting a “further increase in demand” for the drug in the coming days. The World Health Organization (WHO) last year in November found no evidence that the drug improved survival and other outcomes in Covid-19 patients.Several states in India have reported a shortage of the drug following a rise in its demand amid a record surge in Covid-19 infections across the country. Here’s a brief timeline, mapping the drug’s journey:Remdesivir, originally developed to treat hepatitis C and subsequently tested against Ebola, initially made the headlines during the early stages of research into the coronavirus disease treatment. It was WHO that first hit the brakes on Remdesivir’s prospects on November 20 last year, recommending that doctors avoid using the drug altogether.”There is currently no evidence that Remdesivir improves survival and other outcomes in these patients,” the WHO noted, citing detailed studies it sponsored. “The evidence suggested no important effect on mortality, need for mechanical ventilation, time to clinical improvement, and other patient-important outcomes.” Even so, Gilead Sciences Inc, the drug’s manufacturer, pushed back, saying it stood by Remdesivir and citing other studies supporting its efficacy.MORE FROM THIS SECTION Supreme Court in New Delhi.

(File photo)UP to ease Covid curfew in districts with less than 600 active cases Gilead, which manufactures the drug under the brand name ‘Vek lury’, issued a statement saying that it was “disappointed” in the WHO guidelines, which the company said ignored “robust evidence” from multiple randomised, controlled studies published in peer-reviewed journals that demonstrate its benefits. The company also listed key findings from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases’ (NI AD) A CTT-1 trials, which showed that the drug led to a “five-day faster recovery in hospitalized patients overall, and a seven-day faster recovery in people who required oxygen support at baseline, compared with placebo.” The findings from these trials were peer-reviewed and published in the New England Journal of Medicine, the company said, adding that the anti-viral drug’s inclusion has been supported in multiple treatment guidelines. The data has also supported regulatory approvals or temporary authorisations to treat Covid-19 in approximately 50 countries worldwide, it said.Speed is prized in the race to beat back Covid-19.
In December later that year, researchers from University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, gave the drug to a patient with Covid-19 and a rare immune disorder and observed a dramatic improvement in his symptoms and the disappearance of the virus. The journal Nature Communications carried the new study, and soon several countries, including India, were reported to be using the drug, banking on the insight. Remdesivir, researchers suspected, was likely to be the most beneficial when administered early in infection, before the virus is able to trigger a potentially catastrophic immune response. As Covid-19 cases in India surged, so did the demand for Remdesivir and with it came indiscriminate usage, hoarding, and black marketers, causing artificial shortage to jack up prices. In a press conference this week, Maharashtra health minister Rajesh Tope said that the drug was being used indiscriminately without following appropriate official protocols. “The state is getting 50,000 doses every day and all of them are being consumed, leading to the shortage,” said Tope, adding, “Pharmacists and stockists might be doing black marketing and that needs to be checked.”The anti-viral dose was being used to treat Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) patients before it was directed for Covid-19 treatment last year. Currently, doctors and hospitals are prescribing the injection even for those suffering from the mild problem of breathlessness, Tope said, adding that it’s a violation of the protocol. The minister directed all district officials to ensure that every injection is used judiciously and cap the prices to check illegal hoarding. The owner of a medical store in Maharashtra’s Parbhani district was arrested last Thursday for selling a single vial of Remdesivir for ₹6000, a much higher price than the MRP of ₹4800. To overcome a panic over the shortage of Remdesivir and to prohibit the black marketing and stocking of the drug, hospitals in Pune have been asked to provide the injection to the patients as opposed to their family members or relatives buying the drug. The issue is not just limited to Maharashtra. As per a Reuters report, India’s drug regulator, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO), and several state governments in the recent days raised concerns over the hoarding and black marketing of Remdesivir, which in some instances is being sold at over 10 times the maximum retail price. Social media posts on Sunday showed large queues of people in the western state of Gujarat waiting to buy Remdesivir injections for Covid-19 patients.

Problems In Implementation Of Social legislation.

As we know problems in society are inevitable and because of these problems there arises the need for social work and social work is that field of knowledge that concerns with solving the problems of individual, community, and organisation, and to make their life happier and for this there are certain legislations or laws that are to be followed for the betterment of society. The role of social legislations is to mediate between the problems and solutions of the society but society is transforming at a rapid pace and social workers must do the same to provide the best support to their clients , but there are certain problems that has become hurdles for the implementation of social legislations in the required field.

Some of these problems that are hindering this process are :

  1. Health gap(limited access to health care )
  2. Social isolation
  3. Homelessness(migrant labourers)
  4. Extreme economic inequality
  5. Prejudice(negative perception)

1) health gap –health gap for example could be mental and physical and to bridge it government should take necessary steps in this direction be it (updating the medical facility and developement of mental fitness)

2) social isolation- social isolation generally means when a person feels or get isolated from the society and this could be possible through some reasons like failures ( professional)  or less socialisation in the society.

3)-homelessness- it is one of the biggest problems in the lives of strugglers who looks up to make their lives fruitful and start their carrier because  of lack of affordability people tend to live without shelters and eventually this leads to homelessness.

4) Extreme economic inequality-  it refers to the differences of individual’s income and wealth and it leads to obligations of certain legislation like sleeping and residing on footpaths has become a compulsion for beggars, poor people or migrants which is illegal by law but because of economic disparities and system failure this has become a bitter truth of our society.

5) Prejudice-when a person or society make up it’s mind about something and make generalizations about  before fully knowing about it. if we talk about the  pandemic vaccination derive most of the people have preassumed about the negative consequences of the dose without knowing and studying about the benefits of the same.

The above problems according to me are among the major problems that are faced by the social worker and the society as well, and to cope up with it a social worker needs to deep study in the areas of management and execution of social policy is an important element for the institutionalization of public policy which seeks to guarantee social rights therefore, the confrontation of the social challanges in this field become a fundamental question for the theoretical, ethical and technical legitimacy of the social work.

conclusion

Hence, in the conclusion we can say that sometimes natural practices or compulsions of a being are more vital with comparison to the implementation of social legislation. So in the pace of changing era government should study and figure out solutions regarding these hurdles by which the society would become a better place to live.

Pollution in india

The process in which some toxic pollutants are added to our environment is called pollution. It makes the climate harmful for both all the living beings. Pollution mainly happens because of men made activities, whether done unknowingly or deliberately. Nowadays, it has become an important issue worldwide. Many countries are facing defective childbirths and high mortality rates due to pollution. It makes natural things like water, air, soil, etc. harmful for both the humans and the animals. The pollutants that mix in the air directly affect living beings as they get into the body directly while breathing.
Water pollutants are in the same way hazardous for living beings. In today’s time, manufacturing and construction units are significant sources of pollution. People living next to a manufacturing group often fall ill either by noise or air pollution. But the irony is that humans are the ones who are deliberately polluting the environment. They’re just opening their own. We can’t get an utterly pollution-free world. Still, we can decrease the level of pollution around us by becoming more sensible and controlling our activities, causing pollution.

“The purpose of our lives is to be happy” – Dalai Lama

What is life actually?

If we want to perceive the value of quote, first we must enrich our mind with the meaning of life.

Life is the aspect of existence that processes, acts, reacts, evaluates, and evolves through growth (reproduction and metabolism). The crucial difference between life and non-life (or non-living things) is that life uses energy for physical and conscious development.

Life exits in various forms such as animals, plants, fungi, bacteria, protozoa and so on. Our life on Earth is very short, which confines different kinds of experiences. It depends on each individual how they run-over each  circumstances and fetch meaning to their lives

What could be the real meaning of life ?

The meaning of life may have many biological answers. If we ask a scientist , what is the real meaning of life he may tell “a self-sustaining chemical system capable of Darwinian evolution”.

Psychologically , each man is questioned by life; and he can only answer to life by answering for his own life; to life he can only respond by being responsible.

So, let us not ruin our life by doing unwanted things. Let us design our life in the best way we want and also crave for the best design which is to be laid in our life!!

Let us understand the purpose of our lives

Each one in this world has individual destination in their life. Each of us work hard to reach that destination through education, etc. To reach our goal and to prosper in life  we must be ready to face  obstacles and challenges which may come in different forms. If we want to overcome our challenges, we should possess a strong mind and will. One will have a strong mind if he/she understand each and everything clearly in their life. So for all these, we need to be happy and satisfied in our life, which also keeps our mind healthy and stable. A stable mind can help us make right decisions and motivates us to face  obstacles in our life.

Yes!! At last the purpose of life is to be HAPPY which makes us healthy, feels motivated and keeps us strong.

Let us have a look on the benefits of being happy

Happiness is a broad term that describes the experience of positive emotions, such as joy, contentment and satisfaction. Emerging research shows that being happier doesn’t just make you feel better — it actually brings a host of potential health benefits. Now a days a healthy immune system is mandatory to all. Research has shown that being happier may help keep your immune system strong. Isn’t that interesting? So let us all stay healthy!! And safe.

Being happy may help reduce stress level which we all knew. Stress increases levels of the hormone cortisol, which can cause weight gain, disturbed sleep and high blood pressure. Happy people tend to produce lower levels of cortisol in response to stressful situations. Being happy may also reduce our blood pressure which keeps our heart healthy. The best part is being happy even extends our life span. That sounds great!!! Happiness is one of the most important aspect of positive psychology. Therefore let us stay happy and pursue our goal in life which gives us meaning and purpose of our life.

“The purpose of our lives is to be happy ” said by Dalai Lama has deep meaning in it.

If we have the will to understand it and practice it, surely we would have  a wonderful life.

STAY HAPPY FOREVER !!!!!

Bursting myths about sleep Deprivation

Sleeping brain has been a mystery for a very long time. Psychologists, Neuroscientists or even physiologists haven’t been able to fully unravel this mystery. This makes room for confusion and myths. Fortunately, scientists are able to understand some of sleep’s critical functions, and the reasons we need it for optimal health and wellbeing.

Let’s decode some myths about Sleep :

  • Sleep is a time when the mind and body shut down.

But this is not the case; sleep is an active period in which a lot of important processing, restoration, and strengthening occurs. This is one of the major reasons why maintaining your sleep schedule is so vital.

  • One only needs 6 hours of sleep to function.

This isn’t true. To operate optimally, you need seven to eight hours of sleep.

  • One can catch up on sleep on the weekends.

Those who are not able to have a healthy sleep schedule on weekdays tend to catch up on sleep on the weekends. This is partially true, but if you’ve had chronic partial sleep deprivation, it could take days to weeks to recover.

  • One can sleep too much.

The truth is you can’t sleep too much. You probably overslept because your body needs that rest. But if you do feel worse when you’re sleeping more, it’s probably because you’re recognizing your true sleep needs.

  • If I wake up at night, I will play on my phone or watch my tv to help me relax.

We fall for the unhealthy habit of using our phone or watching tv to help us relax. What we don’t realise is that the bright light from our devices activates our brain, and also can shift our melatonin release, shifting our circadian rhythm which eventually ends up disturbing our sleep furthermore.

  • Alcohol helps me sleep.

Isn’t that a common statement? Well, it’s true that alcohol does help people relax. But the loophole is that once it’s cleared from the body, it fragments the sleep making it a poor quality.

Here are some tips that can help improve your Sleep:

It is very crucial to maintain a regular sleep-wake pattern to establish a stable circadian rhythm which eventually helps in improving the quality of your sleep.

Get the amount of sleep you need during the week, and avoid sleeping in on weekends, as doing so will disrupt your sleep rhythm. Even if you sleep poorly or not at all one night, try to maintain your regular schedule the next.

If you have trouble falling asleep at night, avoid napping if possible. Evening naps should be especially avoided because they will make you less sleepy when you go to bed.

A few changes in our sleep schedule can do wonders for our health.

We spend one third of our lives sleeping, so it’s very essential for us to have as many good night sleeps as possible. The best sleep habits are consistent, healthy routines that allow all of us, regardless of our age, to meet our sleep needs every night, and keep on top of life’s challenges every day.

Nellore ayurved medicine

Krishnapatnam village in Andhra Pradesh’s Nellore district witnessed a large gathering for a ‘miracle’ Covid-19 drug.

Even though there is no scientific evidence that says the drug is effective, people gathered in the village to collect the Ayurvedic ‘cure’ made by an elderly practitioner B Anandaiah who also stays in the same village. He claims that his drug is an effective cure for Covid-19.

He does not have any professional training and said he made the drug out of ‘experience’. He is now distributing the drug for free in his village.

Even though some people claimed the drug was effective, a preliminary test done by Ayurvedic Lab at Vijayawada found the drug was generic in nature and has no adverse effect. A detailed report is awaited.Dr. Rajalakshmi, the DMHO of the Nellore district, has pointed out the large gathering amid the lockdown and hinted at the possibility of a further spread of Covid due to such crowding.Andhra Pradesh is one of the states worst hit by Covid-19 and a lockdown is in force till the end of the month to curtail the spread.

IMMUNE DYSFUNCTION AND ITS CONSEQUENCES

 The evolution of immune system.

It can be defined as a complex evolutionary unit and it can be said that the immune system of primitive organisms is also primitive. The immune system involves numerous elements, which have undergone many evolutionary changes, some which are neutral, some are selected, to form the basis of modified organisms that live among us in the 20th century and whose immune systems have adapted to the damaging environment humans have created in this era. All these different species including, humans themselves, have perhaps evolved beyond their apparent primitive state into something more realistic to survive in today’s world. The immune systems have been modified by factors linked not only to the internal evolution of their elementary genes but also by coevolution with factors in the internal environment, such as cellular constraints, metabolism, mode of reproduction and progeny size. It is significant to learn and understand our immune system because increasing our knowledge in this area could help suggest solutions to clinicians when they are faced with deficiencies and anomalies in the immune system of man.

The outline of innate and adaptive immunity portrays an interactive system that defends the host from transferrable diseases and from cancer. This would not be comprehensive without stating that the resistant of our body can function indecorously. Occasionally the immune system fails to defend the host effectively or misdirects its activities to inflict uneasiness, incapacitating illness, or even death. There are numerous communal appearances of immune dysfunction:

■ Allergy and asthma

■ Graft rejection and graft-versus-host disease

■ Autoimmune disease

■ Immunodeficiency

Allergy and asthma are results of unsuitable immune responses, often to shared antigens such as plant pollen, food, or animal dander. The likelihood that certain substances amplified sensitivity rather than protection was documented in about 1902 by Charles Richet, who attempted to immunize dogs compared to the toxins of a kind of jellyfish, Physalia. He and his associate Paul Portier detected that dogs exposed to sublethal dosages of the toxin reacted almost suddenly, and fatally, to subsequent challenge with tiny amounts of the toxin. Richet decided that a successful injection or vaccination results in phylaxis, or defense, and that an contrary result may occur. Anaphylaxis in which contact to antigen can result in a possibly lethal sensitivity to the antigen if the contact is recurrent. Richet received the Nobel Prize in for his detection of the ana-phylactic response.

Providentially, most allergic reactions in humans are not quickly fatal. A specific allergic or anaphylactic response typically involves one antibody type, named IgE. Binding of IgE to its specific antigen (allergen) releases constituents that cause irritation and swelling. When an allergic individual is exposed to an allergen, signs may include sneezing, wheezing, and struggle in breathing (asthma); dermatitis or skin eruptions (hives); and, in more dangerous cases, asphyxiation due to blockage of airways by swelling. An important fraction of our health resources is used to care for those suffering from allergy and asthma. The occurrence of allergy and asthma in the United States place these grievances among the most shared reasons for a visit to the doctor’s dispensary or to the hospital emergency room.

When the immune system come across foreign cells or tissue, it responds sturdily to rid the host of the invaders. Nevertheless, in some cases, the transplantation of cells or an organ from additional individual, although observed by the immune system as a foreign assault, may be the only possible action for disease. For instance, it is projected that more than 60,000 persons in the United States alone could profit from a kidney transplant. Since the immune system will attack and reject any relocated organ that it does not identify as self, it is a serious blockade to this possibly life-saving treatment. An added hazard in transplantation is that any relocated cells with immune function may sight the new host as nonself and respond against it. This reaction, which is called graft-versus-host disease, can be lethal. The rejection reaction and graft-versus-host disease can be repressed by drugs, but this kind of treatment overpowers all immune function, so that the host is not threatened by its immune system and develops susceptible to infectious diseases. Transplantation educations have played a main role in the growth of immunology. A Nobel prize was presented to Karl Landsteiner, for the detection of human blood groups, a discovery that permitted blood transfusions to be carried out securely. , G. Snell, J. Dausset, scientists and B. Benacerraf were known for discovery of the major histocompatibility complex, in 1991, E. D. Thomas & J. Murray were prearranged Nobel Prizes for developments in transplantation immunity. To allow a foreign organ to be recognized without overpowering immunity to all antigens remains a test for immunologists today.

In many individuals, the immune system breakdowns by losing its sense of self and nonself, which allows an immune attack upon the host. This disorder, autoimmunity, can root a number of chronic incapacitating diseases. The indications of autoimmunity vary depending on which tissues and organs are under a threat. For instance, multiple sclerosis is caused by autoimmune dysfunction on the brain and CNS, Crohn’s disease affects the tissues of the gut, & rheumatoid arthritis is characterized by its affect on the joints of the arms and legs. The genetic and ecological factors that cause and sustain autoimmune disease are very dynamic areas of immunologic research, as is the hunt for improved treatments.

If any of the many mechanisms of innate or specific immunity is faulty because of genetic irregularity, or if any immune function is lost due to damage by chemical, physical, or biotic agents, the person suffers from immunodeficiency. The austerity of immunodeficiency disease

Allergy and Asthma

Even though the immune system serves to defend the host from infection and cancer, unsuitable responses of this organization can lead to disease. Common amid the consequences of immune dysfunction are allergies and asthma, together they are serious public health problems. Particulars of the mechanisms that cause allergic and asthmatic retorts to environmental antigens. Merely specified, allergic reactions are responses to antigenic impetuses that outcome in immunity based chiefly on the IgE class of immunoglobulin. Contact to the antigen

(or allergen) activates an IgE-mediated release of particles that cause symptoms extending from sneezing and dermatitis to swelling of the lungs in an asthmatic attack. The order of events in an allergic reply is portrayed in the reaction.

The uneasiness from common allergies like plant pollen allergy (ragweed allergy) contains a week or two of whooping and runny nose, which may seem minor compared with health complications such as cancer, cardiac arrest, or life-endangering infections. A grave allergic reaction is asthma.

Allergy and Asthma as Public Health issues a chronic illness of the lungs in which swelling, arbitrated by ecological antigens or infections, causes severe trouble in breathing. Roughly 15 million people in the US have asthma, and it causes about 5000 deaths in a single year. In the past twenty years, the occurrence of asthma in the Western World has folded.

AUTOIMMUNE DISORDERS

The device by which the huge diversity of B and T cells is generated is a haphazard process that unavoidably gives rise to some receptors that identify the body’s own elements as foreign. Lymphocytes having such self-reactive receptors, though, are eliminated or reduced impotent by numerous diverse mechanisms, so that the immune system does not usually make significant amounts of antibodies or T cells that are sensitive with the body’s mechanisms (self antigens). Yet, an immune response to self, termed autoimmunity, can happen, and some of the conducts that self-directed immune responses reason damage causes Allergies.

Knowing and classifying autoimmune disorders is hard given that all humans have numerous self-reactive antibodies in the blood but most of them show no sign of disease. Subsequently, the credential of autoantibodies is not a adequate diagnostic tool for defining the presence of an autoimmune disorder. There is a modification between an autoimmune response and disease: in the prior case the autoantibodies do not inflict dysfunction, but in the latter they do.

EXAMPLES OF AUTOIMMUNE DISORDERS

The range of autoimmune disorders is extensive, ranging from those that contain a single organ to others that mark several different organs as a secondary result of the presence of immune complexes in the gesticulation. Some of these autoimmune syndromes are discussed and causes are given. The subsequent disorders have been selected to illustrate some of the very different complications that can arise from autoimmunity.

Hashimoto disease, graves disease are 2 common autoimmune disorders in the thyroid gland

Autoimmune hemolytic anemia resultant from the formation of autoantibodies against the RBCS

Pernicious anemia, autoimmune gastritis occurs when there is a failure to absorb vitamin B12 that is essential for proper maturations of the RBCs

Rheumatoid arthritis is also a chronic swelling that affects connective tissues and the synovial membrane lining the peripheral joints.

HIDDEN MESSAGES IN EMOTIONS

In this pandemic situation, we all are staying at our homes to save ourselves from the covid disease, by being locked for days most of them are affected mentally and emotionally. Life is an emotional experience, the quality of emotion that we experience every day determines the quality of our life. We all should know how to control our emotion or otherwise, our emotion controls us. The major problem with most people is, they are not able to understand what they feel or they find it harder to name their emotions. This is the place where we should become emotionally intelligent. Emotional intelligence plays an important role in our life because every human in the world has his or her own emotion. It allows you to understand and manage your emotion in order to self-motivate and create a positive social interaction. Understanding our emotions helps us to know more about ourselves. Our emotion not only affects us it also affects the other people around us. “There are hidden messages in every emotion”. Emotions are action signals very often their meanings are hidden but we ignore the hidden messages. All emotion is a call for action. Emotion is the inner game of success or failure. There are more than 3000 various emotions. We have only 1051 pleasant emotions and other are unpleasant emotion. This shows that we people are more focused on unpleasant sides than the bright side. We humans cannot forget the unpleasant emotion or feeling unless we let it go. Compressing our emotions and feelings leads us to mental depression. It is always good to express our emotions. When we are in control with our emotions that means we are emotionally intelligent. When emotion controls you, then it means you are emotionally slaved. Once when you are familiar with your emotion, then hidden messages, action signals even unpleasant emotion becomes your ally. Mostly we are aware of messages hidden behind pleasant emotion, but we are not aware of the hidden message behind unpleasant emotion. All the negative emotion contains positive message and instructions that help us to grow into a better human being.
Some of the unpleasant emotions that most of them face regularly are hurt, pain, anger, fear, guilt, unworthiness, and loneliness.
HURT
Hurt is a painful emotion that comes when we experience loss. It may be a loss of trust or expectation from the person we love. When we face betrayal or ignored by the person we care about, that feeling leads us to this unpleasant emotion hurt. There is always a way to get hold of ourselves from the unpleasant emotion. Always we expect something from our loved one, but we all know that expectation kills. So communicate with your loved ones explain yourself to them, explain your need and expectation to them. Certain things may be valuable to you but not them, so it is always better when you are open to your loved ones so that they can understand you.
ANGER
Anger is another unpleasant emotion every one of us faces in this fast-growing world. Anger is a physiological sensation due to a biochemical reaction in your body. Anger is a secondary emotion where frustration is the primary emotion. We feel frustrated when we don’t get what we want. We all have some important rules and standards in our life that we hold, when those rules have been violated by someone or maybe even by ourselves, it leads us to this unpleasant emotion anger. The hidden message in frustration is that we can do better and we need to change our approach to get better.
DEPRESSION
When we feel helpless and unworthy it leads us to the unpleasant emotion which is depression. When someone focuses on the minor things in life than the major one it is the primary reason for depression. The hidden message in depression is to find the purpose of life. When we are depressed we feel unworthy and we don’t feel the meaning of our life. Which may lead us to suicide.
FEAR
Fear is one of the terrible unpleasant emotions. The best way to overcome your fear is to face them, face the fear that you are afraid of and then they will leave you. Grief is one of the unpleasant emotions similar to fear. Acceptance is the answer for grief, just let it go then you feel relieved. The hidden message in fear is it is simply anticipation that something is going to happen soon, so be prepared for it.
LONELINESS
Loneliness is the unpleasant emotion which leads us to many unpleasant emotion like depression, unworthiness, anxiety, hurt and so on. Loneliness is about not only being alone it’s about being avoided by the person we love and also by society. It makes us to feel empty, alone, and unwanted. When your not a sociable person then you feel lonely from time to time. The hidden message in loneliness is that your need to become more sociable and more expressive.

We should know about what emotion that we are going through and we should know how to handle those emotions. Our unpleasant emotion is our greatest enemy which makes us feel low and sometimes leads us to the wrong path. Some unpleasant emotion like hurt, pain, anger, guilt, unworthiness, and loneliness that we face says us to have some change in ourselves. We have to take everything positively and try to decode the message so that we can easily get over the emotion that we are stuck in.

Explosive study claims:Chinese scientists created Corona virus

An explosive study claimed that Chinese scientists created virus in lab: Amid all the studies and research, an explosive new study has found that Chinese scientists were responsible for Corona virus. The study has found that Chinese scientists created the virus in a laboratory in Wuhan, and later they tried to hide their tracks by some reverse engineering versions of the virus so that it may look like it has evolved naturally and it is not created by some artificial means.

As per a report by The Daily Mail on sunday, the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 virus is not having any “credible natural ancestor” and was created by Chinese scientists who were working on a ‘Gain of Function‘ project in a Wuhan lab. The report was citing a new research paper by British professor Angus Dalgleish and Norwegian scientist Dr Birger Sorensen. As per the research, it is claimed that scientists took a natural coronavirus backbone which is usually present in Chinese cave bats. They later spliced onto it a new spike, which turned it into the deadly and rapidly transmissible Covid 19.

As per the report from The Daily Mail, researchers even found some unique fingerprints in some Covid 19 samples and it is evident that such fingerprints could have only arisen due to some manipulation in laboratory. It also claimed deliberate destruction, concealment or contamination of data at Chinese labs and the mysterious disappearing of many Chinese scientists who used to spoke about such activities. It is estimated that this research study is going to affect a lot to the current Covid issue and also intensify all the debates related to this.

In this 22 paged research, Dalgleish and Sorensen pieced together how Chinese scientists, some even working with American universities, allegedly built the tools to create the deadly coronavirus. In an exclusive interview with The Daily Mail, Sorensen told that there is positive charge on four amino acids on the spike, which makes this virus more infectious as the positive charge sticks to the negatively charged parts of human. Also since these positively charged amino acids repel each other, it is rare to find three in organisms. While, four amino acids are not natural for sure.

Dalgeish told that “the laws of physics mean that you cannot have four positively charged amino acids in a row. The only way you can get this is if you artificially manufacture it,” . He further added that “We think that there have been retro-engineered viruses created. They’ve changed the virus, then tried to make out it was in a sequence years ago,“. He also emphasised on the fact that the scientists who tried to throw some light on this issue were mysteriously disappeared. He estimated that the virus escaped from some low security areas where he believes Gain of Function research was performed.

He further also said “We have seen lab leaks and we know it’s happening. We also know from the reports we’ve seen, that coronavirus is worked on in Biosafety Level 2 or 3 labs. If they do Gain of Function in such labs, what do you expect?” Before this an Australian daily has also estimated the same. And now US has also announced that it will check on this issue.

Was Covid-19 created in a laboratory? Shocking truth about the lab leaks

The Covid-19 pandemic which shook the world is still being fought in many countries despite 2 years of battle. There have been numerous speculations regarding the origin of the virus. It was claimed that it originated in Wuhan, China after humans contracted the virus from bats. But many theories state otherwise. Some say that it was man-made to regulate population, a medical-mafia induced virus to make money from it. The motives aside, a recent proof that it is actually not natural was submitted and has taken the world by storm since then.

A 22-page research paper

A 22-page research paper authored by British Professor Angus Dalgleish and Norwegian scientist Dr.Birger Sørensen has recently surfaced and it is to be published in the Quarterly Review of Biophysics Discovery, as per Daily Mail. The authors claim that they have evidence that Covid-19 is actually man made but that their research was intentionally ignored by academics and journals.

Covid-19 a result of a ‘Gain of function’ experiment?

The authors say that Covid-19 was created by Chinese scientists in a Wuhan lab when they were working on a ‘Gain of function’ project. A gain-of-function research works by tweaking a virus in order to increase the the degree of transfer of the virus in humans. This research is usually conducted in order to know about future diseases and to prepare accordingly. It has to be conducted in extremely safe environments, otherwise may lead to deadly outbreaks. It has been banned in many countries including the US.

The research paper cites that Covid-19 was a result of the alteration of a naturally occurring, not so deadly corona virus found in Chinese cave bats. They say that this virus found in bats was grafted a new spike, turning it into the deadly Covid-19, highly transferable among humans.

The author Dr.Birger Sørensen said that on the spikes were four amino acids with a positive charge. As we know, given 2 positive charges repel each other, it is very much unlikely that four such charges were found in the virus. Naturally, a maximum of only 3 such charges can be found in viruses. So the inclusion of the 4th charge makes it easier to cling to humans and thus making it highly contagious. More details.

Lab leaks

With the virus engineered in Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in China, it is said that it may have leaked due to lowered security in the labs, thus spreading to the public. This justifies Wuhan to be ground zero. Once it was evident that the virus was leaked, the Chinese scientist tries to cover their tracks by retro-engineering it, to make it look as if it evolved naturally from bats. There are unique fingerprints found in the virus which make it even harder to believe that it occurred naturally.

It is also stated that some researchers were admitted in hospitals around October, a month before China reported its first Covid-19 positive.

While it is certainly believed that Covid-19 has no credible natural ancestor, the claims of the research paper are yet to be authenticated. The only thing we can do right now is to no step out of our homes and stay calm during this crisis, hoping for better times. Be home, be safe. Vaccinate yourself.
