MONEY MANAGMENT

Money is not life but it's an important part of life, to survive, to give yourself good facilities, and to live in a good condition with two meals a day. Money may not be a power, also it's not like one cannot live without money, but without it one has to struggle to survive, and has to face scarcity in his life. 
As per the slave theory of Aristotle, society cannot be of people with equal living standards. Hence, the entire society especially in the context of Indian society is divided into 3 social classes: Rich people, middle class people and poor people. 
What does this division depict about the people of each class? On what basis these classes are formed? It's on the basis of money, people who are rich, have large amounts of money, they had a good living. Middle class people are the one who are neither rich nor poor, they can make money to live a normal life and can fulfill essential necessities of eating and education easily. Poor class people have to struggle even for the meals, they don't have shelters over their head, they cannot afford education for their children. 
It's said that home is the first school of a child, he learns whatever he sees or feels in his home environment, whatever his parents teach him, he accepts it as their reality. 
A child of a rich class knows that he has money and can make more money in the future, as he is given good education by his parents, he has money in his hand so maybe he knows how to manage it. 
A person of poor class will teach his child about money what? Few among them can barely afford money to give education, he could just say "study and work hard". He himself never had so much money, what will he teach about Money Management to his children. 
In this democratic India where everybody has an equal right to get education, hardly there would be any school who discriminate children on the basis of financial status. The concept of money is taught to children in the home itself, here's where he sees that whether I am poor or I am rich. 
A child of rich parents knows nothing that whatever facilities he is given is because they have enough money and other classes exist in this world who cannot afford it. A child of poor class doesn't know that he is lacking somewhere, he doesn't know that there are people who have all the facilities that he doesn't have. All these things he learns from his parents and the type of environment he understands as he grows up. 
Sometimes even if a child of poor family studies hard and passes with the high grade, the financial conditions and mentality will be same, that he is poor, he can for sure eat well and live well, but he never tries to change himself, to explore himself, except few, all those who have came out of poverty, tries to earn more and more money, firstly for themselves and then for their children. 
The above mentioned things sometimes go wrong because there are many cases, when a person has a good family background, he is born with Silver spoon in his mouth, but a time comes when he is grown up or after several years he is left with nothing and has to face poverty. 
Whereas sometimes a child from a poor section comes up with great talent, determination and struggle and he doesn't face any scarcity of money which he faced earlier. 
So, why these drastic changes occur in the life of people? It is because of the management of money. The amount of money a person handles to fulfill his most important needs, makes life easy and smooth. Money management is a talent, which not everyone has. 
Money management is, how you tackle all your financial aspects, from making a budget and where every penny is being spent,  along with saving money for the future. If a person lacks in money management even the crores or any amount of money proves to be less to him because desires are never ending. 
Under money management one has to learn to say 'NO' to any unnecessary purchasing and 'YES' to the thing which is far more important for the individual. Differentiation between what is unnecessary and what is necessary is also a work of wise human. When one has desire in mind for anything, he cannot resist himself from buying or doing unnecessary spending. 
Money management starts with what assets you are having in your hand, assets like bank balance and property, one has to subtract it from all your debts or liabilities or from the money you have to spend on your essentials. The net amount which is left decides whether you have proper money management or not? If the amount of liabilities is more than assets, it puts your financial conditions in dilemma. 
For proper money management the first and foremost step one should take is setting goal, this helps you to give clarity about which expenses are necessary,  and which one can be cut down. Let's say if a car is your necessity or goal, in order to buy it you have to cut out the expenses of movies, dinners, hiring taxis, buying expensive clothes etc. 
No matter, if sometimes your budget goes up, you should not change your budget and the expenses on different items, this will help you to keep more money as savings and will limit your expenses. Budget should be  changed or should be made of higher expenses if you have increment, or consistently the amount of your money is increasing after sufficient savings. 
People get easily influenced by the magic of market, when one goes to supermarket he/she buys many things which may not be necessary. The marketers and business man plays with the psychology of buyers, they keep goods on offer, give the scheme of buy 1 get 1 free and use many other marketing tricks and there people get stuck in the web of market's beauty. 
When a person lives a student life he gets pocket money from the parents and that becomes the first step of money management, from there a child builds up the quality of money management, and that's the reason parents should leave their children in the world with small amount of money, doesn't matter if he belongs to a rich family. 
Money is something which cannot buy happiness or can give happiness. It's just for fulfilling basic necessities and some hobbies, but yes money makes life easy and comfortable. It can give you a good living and it can motivate you to move ahead. Money is just the necessary evil. 

Dancing plague

While we are suffering a great pandemic, with a hope of getting the news of this pandemic to get over, just like that it is a phase of suffocating people to death, but there was a time when people died where not for any but been dancing.


The dancing epidemic occurred in Alsace from July 1518 to September 1518. It started suddenly when a woman began the dance in a street in Strasbourg, around 50 to 400 people took to dance for days. It last long until it took the attention of Strasbourg magistrate and bishop, they appointed doctors for the cure.


It is considered to be controversial, as some sources claim that the plague killed around 15 people per day or some didn’t mention the number of deaths.
Mainly claimed their theory of this epidemic, food poisoning, the dancing been brought due to food poisoning caused by toxic chemicals of ergot fungi which generally grow s on grains, used to make bread.
Or it may be because of Stress-induced mass hysteria, what does that term depict the involvement of individuals suddenly exhibiting the same behavior.

Indian women’s Hockey team in Olympics

The time the women had made their first Olympic apperance was at the 1980 games in Moscow. The second Olympic appearance was at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

The Indian Women’s hockey team had created history after they had entered the semi-finals of the big tournament. While they lost against Argentina, they will now play for the bronze in their maiden Olympic podium clash at Oi Hockey Stadium against Great Britain tomorrow (6th August,2021) at 7 AM.

Divorce by Mutual Consent

Although it is believed that relationships are created in heaven, these heavenly ties do not always continue forever. Divorce is now seen casually, and individuals utilize it as a first choice, despite the fact that the law intended it to be a last resort. Many times, the partners in a marriage can no longer stand one other and cannot live peacefully together. In such situations, the couple may choose to divorce mutually. Mutual divorce occurs when both husband and wife mutually agree that they can no longer live together and decide to dissolve their marriage.

Essential Conditions of Mutual Divorce

  • Parties must be living separately – In order to dissolve a marriage by mutual divorce, the parties must have been living apart for at least one year prior to submitting the divorce petition. Living apart does not imply living in different locations. Living under the same roof as a couple but without sharing the bond of husband and wife qualifies the required requirement of living apart.
  • Parties are unable to live together – There are a variety of scenarios in which a couple is unable to live together despite mediation, reconciliation, and numerous efforts. In such a case, the couple can divorce by mutual consent. Following the filing of the petition, the parties are allowed a six-month cooling period, which can be extended to eighteen months. Both parties must ponder and examine their options during this period. If the parties are still unable to live together, the district judge should issue a divorce order.
  • Parties have mutually consented to end the marriage– In order to dissolve the marriage by a mutual divorce, both parties must have agreed to do so. The divorce petition is submitted jointly by both parties in the case of mutual divorce. The parties have the right to withdraw the petition at any moment. The petition appears to be withdrawable at the request of one of the parties within six months of the petition’s filing date. When a joint motion is adopted by the parties after the expiry of six months but before the expiration of eighteen months from the date of presentation of the petition for inquiry, the individual right of a party to withdraw the petition seems to be barred.
  • Parties must file for divorce jointly and without undue influence, fraud, or corruption– Both parties must have consented willingly and without pressure from the other parties to file for divorce. If neither partner is willing to file for amicable divorce, the party seeking divorce may do so using the grounds specified in Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act.

Advantages of Mutual Divorce

  • A divorce by mutual consent minimizes needless confrontations, saving both spouses time and money.
  • Maintenance and custody of the kid can be readily arranged by the parties amicably before the marriage is dissolved.
  • In this divorce, the court legalizes and agrees to all that the couple has talked and chosen.
  • Under this, the spouses need not explain the reason for divorce before the court of law. 
  • It does not lead to any confusion or chaos between the parties regarding how the assets and liabilities will be divided between the couple.
  • If the divorce takes place amicably without any conflict the couple can continue to be friends rather than sworn enemies.

Procedure for Mutual Divorce

To get a divorce by mutual consent, one must follow several steps. In India, the process of mutual divorce usually begins with the filing of a petition under Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act. Two motions are also involved in this procedure. Following are the important steps:

  • Filing a Joint Petition– The first step is to file a joint petition in the relevant family court. This joint petition must be signed by both parties. Both parties sign a joint declaration in the divorce petition declaring that they can no longer live together due to fundamental disputes and should be granted a divorce. This declaration also includes a distribution agreement, parental rights, and other details.
  • The appearance of both the parties in Court– The second step involved is the appearance of both the parties before the competent court before which the petition is filed. The court fixes the date and on this date, parties are asked to present before the court with their counsels. 
  • Court review of the petition– The court will review the petition as well as the papers filed by both parties. When the court is satisfied, it records both parties’ statements. In some situations, the court will attempt to mediate a resolution between the parties. When the parties are unable to reconcile, the divorce process begins.
  • Recording of the statement and adoption of the order on the First Motion– When both parties’ statements are recorded, the court issues the first motion order. Previously, the parties were allowed six months to reconcile. This six-month period can be extended to eighteen months, after which a second motion can be submitted. This is no longer a required requirement. In the case of Amardeep Singh v. Harveen Kaur, the Supreme Court waived the six-month cooling period if it was believed that both parties were committed to the divorce, there was no possibility of cohabitation between an estranged couple, and no alimony, child custody, or property issues were raised.
  • Appearing for Second motion– If neither party agrees to come together after six months from the first motion or by the conclusion of the reconciliation period, the parties may appear for the second move for the final hearing. This also entails the parties appearing in court and making remarks that are recorded. Both parties present their cases at the final hearing, and the court records their statements under oath in the family court.
  • The Court’s decision– The most essential condition for a divorce by mutual consent is the free consent of both parties. In other words, unless there is total agreement between the husband and wife for the dissolution of the marriage and the court is satisfied, the court cannot grant a decree of divorce by mutual consent. Based on the parties’ declarations as well as the facts and circumstances of the case, the court makes the proper judgments and dissolves the marriage. The divorce is then finalized when the court issues a divorce decree.

Conclusion

Divorce is a painful issue that should only be used as a last resort; nevertheless, many people nowadays do not hesitate to divorce. CHILD LABOUR

This antagonistically influences kids more than some other age groups. A significant concern is that the real number of child workers goes un-distinguished. Laws that are intended to shield youngsters from unsafe work are ineffectual and not executed accurately.

MEASURES TO STOP CHILD LABOUR:

Elimination of poverty, the abolition of child trafficking, and compulsory and free education and training can help diminish the issue of child labor. Strict implementation of work laws is additionally a basic requirement with the end goal to counteract abuse by organizations. Amendments in the present child labor laws are required to actually take control of the situation. The base of the age of fourteen years should be expanded to something like eighteen. Then only we can put an end to the continuous harassment faced by our kids and help them have a bright future not only for themselves for the nation as a whole.

According to the United Nations Development Programme, the latter is found more often to be the cause of countries or regions experiencing water scarcity, as most countries or regions have enough water to meet household, industrial, agricultural, and environmental needs, but lack the means to provide it in an accessible manner.

The UN recognizes the importance of reducing the number of people without sustainable access to clean water and sanitation.

The Millennium Development Goals within the United Nations Millennium Declaration state that by 2015 they resolve to “halve the proportion of people who are unable to reach or to afford safe drinking water.”

BASKETBALL

The five players on each side fall into five playing positions. Informally, players may play three-on-three, two-on-two, and one-on-one.

In December 1891, James Naismith, a Canadian professor of physical education and instructor at the International Young Men’s Christian Association Training School (now Springfield College) in Springfield, Massachusetts, was trying to keep his gym class active on a rainy day. He sought a vigorous indoor game to keep his students occupied and at proper levels of fitness during the long New England winters. After rejecting other ideas as either too rough or poorly suited to walled-in gymnasiums, he invented a new game in which players would pass a ball to teammates and try to score points by tossing the ball into a basket mounted on a wall.

Basketball was originally played with a soccer ball. These round balls from “association football” were made, at the time, with a set of laces to close off the hole needed for inserting the inflatable bladder after the other sewn-together segments of the ball’s cover had been flipped outside-in. These laces could cause bounce passes and dribbling to be unpredictable. Eventually a lace-free ball construction method was invented, and this change to the game was endorsed by Naismith. The first balls made specifically for basketball were brown, and it was only in the late 1950s that Tony Hinkle, searching for a ball that would be more visible to players and spectators alike, introduced the orange ball that is now in common use.

Plastics are a man-made disaster that will stay with us for thousands of years to come. Also, our life has never been plastic-free. Every aspect of our lives includes plastics in it, whether it’s entertainment, medical, travel, work, or just home. But it won’t be fair if we don’t acknowledge the fact that plastic has also been a boon for economic development in the world. It has been a wonder material for many industries.

A truly wonderful and magical material, plastic was invented in the year 1907 by Leo Hendrick Bakeman in New York, United States of America. This wondrous material was made from phenol and formaldehyde in a cheap and easy method. Ever since this revolutionary invention, the world as we knew it has changed. Plastic replaced many materials in industries. Plastic is so widely used around the world because of its following properties:

  • Its tensile strength is high
  • It is resistant to heat and high temperatures

Reasons to Ban Plastic Bags

There are numerous reasons why the government of various countries has come up with strict measures to limit the use of plastic bags. Some of these include:

  • Waste plastic bags are polluting the land and water immensely.
  • Plastic bags have become a threat to the life of animals living on earth as well as in water.
  • Chemicals released by waste plastic bags enter the soil and make it infertile.
  • Plastic bags are having a negative impact on human health.
  • Plastic bags lead to the drainage problem.

Although plastic is becoming a big threat for all of us, still this problem has often been overlooked and underestimated. This is because people do not look at the long-term effect of these small, easy to carry bags they use in their everyday life. Besides all of these people keep using bags due to their convenience. But now everyone has to completely stop using the plastic bag to save our environment and earth.

India’s performance in Olympics today

Today was a very historical day for Indian hockey in Olympics. Today was day 13 of Tokyo Olympics. India started on a bright note by defeating a strong side Germany in a mouth watering contest by 5-4 , and winning an Olympic medal in hockey after 41 years .

It was a very emotional moment for Indian hockey and players. Indian team made a wonderful comeback because at one stage they were behind by 1-3 . In the match Simranjeet Singh scored India’s first goal of the match but Germany made a roaring comeback and scored 2 goals straightaway and score was 3-1 after that , but just after few minutes Hardik Singh and Harmanpreet Singh scored goals for India and leveled the scorecard with 3-3. After the end of 2nd quarter,

The third quarter went very good quarter for India as India added 2 more goals in their scorecard. Rupinder pal Singh scored 4th goal of the match for India with the help of penalty stroke. The scorecard only got better after that as Simranjeet Singh again scored a goal and gave a 5-3 lead to India. Germany was under pressure .However, Germany scored a goal in 4th quarter but it was not enough as India won a hard fought match by 5-4.

In wrestling, wrestler Vinesh phogat won her first match convincingly by 7-1 but in the next round Vinesh Phogat was defeated by V Kaladzinskaya in 53 kg weight category . But there was a still a way win a bronze medal by winning repechage round but this dream was shattered when V Kaladzinskaya was defeated by Chinese wrestler. Vinesh Phogat was one of the biggest medals hopes for India.

In golf, Aditi Ashok is on a verge of winning historic Olympic medal in golf, after carding a flawless five- under 66 in the second round with five birdies. she is currently on second position after worlds no 1 Nelly Korda of USA .In 20 km race walk, India’s K T Irfan finished 51st , Rohit Rohilla finished 47th and Sandeep Kumar finished 23rd in the race. Then came two important matches of India in wrestling where India’s Ravi kumar Dahiya was in finals of the 57 kg category against defending champion Zavur Uguev . But unfortunately, Ravi Dahiya lost a hard fought match by 4-7, and ended with a Silver medal. It was a wonderful performance from wrestler Ravi Dahiya. After that , wrestler Deepak Punia was against M Anime in 86 kg weight category. He was giving a tough fight but unfortunately he lost the match in last seconds of the match.

Today was a very mix kind of day for India, after winning a historic bronze medal in hockey India star wrestler Vinesh Phogat was knocked out of Tokyo Olympics. Aditi Ashok was a big positive for India. Ravi Dahiya won Silver medal but Deepak Punia was unable to win Bronze medal.

Tomorrow is also a very interesting day in Olympics for India as India women hockey team will play against Great Britain and India’s one of the biggest medal hopes Bajrang Punia will start his campaign tomorrow.
