5 Interesting things you should know about South Korea

South Korea is like a dream country for all youngsters out there!! because of “K-pop” and specially “BTS”, every teenager girl wants to move South Korea. So here are the 5 most interesting things you should know about South Korea before moving.

1. Koreans never smell bad

Korean people lack a gene which produces smelly odour due to sweat. Hence they don’t smell bad at all even if they are sweat a sea. Don’t you think it’s amazing, after working all day, you are sweating like a sea but you won’t smell bad at all!!

2. Shutter sound while taking picture

You can’t turn off the shutter sound while taking picture. If you bought a smartphone from South Korea no matter what you do or how much you try but, you can’t turn off the shutter sound while taking pictures. This is for safety reasons, if someone is taking your picture secretly or without your permission then, this shutter sound will help you to know that someone is clicking your picture.

3. Your age

In Korea you are 1 or 2 years older that your actual present age. Koreans consider a year in the womb as counting towards their age, so everyone is one year old at birth. Everyone gets one year added to their Korean age on New Year’s Day.

Formula for calculating your Korean age = Current year + 1 – Birth year

4. Safety light spots

Whenever you feel unsafe while walking alone on streets of South korea don’t panic, you just have to stand on safety light spot positions which are under cctv observation 24/7 then, no one will dare to do anything to you. These safety light spots will monitor you continuously so no one can harm you and you will be safe until you call someone for help. Don’t you think this is the most coolest thing in South Korea!!

5. Don’t wear any cleavage-baring tops

Even if there are tops or blouses with cleavage, women take extra precaution generally when sitting, bending, and bowing. But in Korea if you wore a top with cleavage, you will have to face a negative comments because it’s consider sexual or too revealing.
For girls, don’t wear low cut shirts or expose your shoulders. This is considered very provocative. But wearing short skirts consider as cute.

Things we never notice in our LIFE

It was 7:30 in the morning, and I heard someone singing “Happy Birthday To You, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday Dear”. I opened my eyes and it was my dad who came to wish me as it was my 20th birthday and like every year he came to wake me up singing happy birthday songs for me. Like every year, this year too I went to the temple together with my mom and dad. That night my mom made my favourite dinner for me and all of a sudden, I realised I turned 20 this year. I am getting older and along with me my mom & dad too.

In the morning when we were going to the temple, we hadn’t completed the half steps but they were out of breath and worned out. Mom’s legs hurt while doing the chores or while making dinner for us. Dad can’t read newspaper without spects now. They get tired very soon and the only reason is because they’re growing old. There is one rule in our house: to at least have one meal a day together. Ever since I was a kid we had our dinner together but that day it was quite different, the vibes were different and the thought that my parents are getting older was scary as hell. I just wanted to live my whole life with my parents happily, I don’t want them to grow older. Besides,on the other hand I was happy that now I can take all their responsibilities and let them live the remaining years peacefully. As, this is what I wished for ever since I was a kid. But back then I never imagined that someday, someday they’ll leave too, just like the others. Now after realizing this I really don’t want them to grow up and neither do I want to grow up, I just want my childhood back and want to live a happy life with my parents forever and ever.
There are times they act cold, yell at me for no reason and won’t allow me to do what I want to that time I really wants to live my life on my own ways and want to runaway far from home, far from them, where no one knows me, know one going to judge me, no one will yell at me, no one will have to right to take my life decisions but me, and no one will stop me, will nag me from doing what I want to do.
But that is not life. We always need someone to scold us when we do something wrong, to nag us. Someone who will comfort us on our lowest and be our supporters at the highest points, someone who’ll love us more than they love themselves and trust me parents are the only ones who love their children more than they love themselves and no one can match their love. Sometimes they may be dominating but that’s because they love you and they are worried about you. Even if you are 50- 60 years old, for them you are still the same, the baby, who cries on small things. That day I really felt like yesterday it was my first day at school & I was crying cause I didn’t want to leave my mom. The feeling was something we never thought about. We are just getting older and busy with our studies, career and job that we never think about our parents. We have become so busy in our lives that we don’t have time for our parents.
Now after realizing this I really don’t want to grow up, I just want to live my life with them. But I can’t. It is the rule of the world, that everyone grows and evolves and leaves this planet some or the other day. It’s like we are all here for each other to support, to talk, to love but then we’ll not be in each other’s lives forever anyway.

We are just here as supporting characters to each other’s main character lives and we’ll leave after seeing them grow/ evolve at our own specific times and we never notice that, like billions of times we eat with them, we watch them from beginning but never notice when they grow up. Time really flies and after this day every single second it will remind me that they are getting older and that one day they’ll leave us behind.

Sunsets

The only reason I believe in happy endings

Like SRK said if the ending is not happy ending then, “Picture abhi baki hai mere dost”. When the sky is in it’s beautiful colours and the sun is going down, may be they are trying to say us that look, “the endings can be beautiful too”, may be they are giving us hope, hope for better and beautiful future, may be, they are trying to say us that, let go what happened today, just forgot what happened in the past by looking at this beautiful sunset skies and look forward to every sunrise, it’s your golden opportunity to “RESET”.

It’s the nature of life that things don’t stay the same but sunsets are the proof that, they can end beautifully, so don’t give up, just keep going no matter what happens the end gonna be beautiful. After entire day work just you, a cup of coffee and beautiful sunset with your favourite music will help you to forgot about all your worries and you’ll just want to live in that moment forever when the sky is in it’s beautiful colours. The world is fighting against the virus and we are too young to dealing with all this, so much has happened, so much is happening, at some point in our life we all feel depressed, sad and lonely, sometimes we just want to give up and it’s a life but, DON’T, comfort yourself by looking at these beautiful sunset skies.

Some people may sound like that, you need to do something special in life, and that’s not true. They will judge you at every point in your life but, don’t think, don’t put so much thoughts into what you’re doing and what others are saying or what others will say, you just have to keep going. Start doing things for yourself let them call you selfish sometimes it’s really okay to be selfish.

Also always remember, you are just a little bit doubtful of your potential and unsure of your worth but you are as amazing as these sunset skies.

Appearances can be deceptive

Focus on your inner beauty. Outer beauty will draw people to you, inner beauty will keep them in your presence.

Jay has his first blind date today. But he was already super late as it was pouring rains outside.
Somehow, finally he managed to reach at the place on time where he supposed to meet his date. He was really nervous. Then a beautiful girl came to him and said, “ Hi! This is Riya. And you are Jay right ?“ Jay stood dumbfounded and just nodded his head up and down.

Riya seemed a total opposite personality to him, she was one of them, who lives their life in present without any stress of future, who believe in enjoying the moment while we are a part of it because one never knows which moment would convert into our last moment of life. She was kind, cute and a bit moody too. Jay was already in love with her, say if it’s her smile, her cuteness, her selfless behaviour or her idea of living life.

Before the day would come to an end, they stopped by a coffee shop. Jay had already fell for her. So, he decided to confess that he liked her and as it seemed that she liked him too.
Jay hesitantly said “ Riya, I like you. Can you be my girlfriend? “
Riya turned around and said, “Jay I wanted to tell you something. Just listen me up first”

A year ago, a guy and his family members came to my place for a marriage proposal. And like every girl does, I also wore my mom’s saree and did everything like a typical Indian girl does when someone comes to see her but that guy unfortunately rejected me and his reason was that I looked like an old fashioned typical village women that day.
We didn’t exchange words or talked for a single second and yet he came up with a decision that I’m not his type. You tell me is it judge someone based on his clothes and outer look?
Jay said “ NO, it’s really wrong, looks can be deceptive”. Riya smiled and said guess who was that boy was Jay Shrivastava, it was – YOU.
Look at the irony, that you don’t even remember that a year ago you rejected me because of this silly reason and today after spending some hours talking to me you say you like me. Whoa time really flies. (Jay was just listening everything silently cause he knew that it was his mistake and he was ashamed of himself). Jay I want to marry someone who will love me and not my outer looks, someone who’ll love me no matter what, the one who won’t judge me cause of my looks. Sorry and thank you for this amazing time I spent with you but I can’t be your girlfriend.
Riya *leaves*

Don’t judge someone based on their appearance because, appearance can be deceptive.

BTS Converting Yet To Be Opened World Cup Bridge into Their Own Personal Fashion Runway

BTS – Reason Behind Billion “Smiles”

BTS performs “Butter” on the “World Cup Bridge” for Jimmy Fallon’s “The Tonight Show”. Lighting up the sky over Seoul, looking hot & stunning, with their powerful vocals they made sure that the haters will fall for them after watching this performance.

BTS made guest appearance on NBC’s “The Tonight Show” starring Jimmy Fallon on 13th and 14th July. On second day, they performed “Butter” – The No. 1 song on Billboard Hot 100 charts for the last seven weeks, in a location that shocked not only Army’s but also many more people around the world. They performed on the “World Cup Bridge”. Which is under construction, the bridge is planned to cross the Han River in Seoul, South Korea and connect to the Mapo District and Yeongdeungpo District. This bridge is set to open to the public in August 2021.

As you can see in the video this is not pre-recorded. They did all the choreography, with live audio, and rigged up a light show that was coordinated with the song. And! Jimmy Fallon and his show just got their names on a major architectural construction in Seoul that hasn’t even opened yet, it’s an ultimate gift for Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show.

BTS has previously borrowed the National Museum of Korea, a historical palace, Seoul’s Incheon International Airport, a Mall and a theatre. When the world was still vibing on “Butter” and the Army was busy breaking their own record of “Dynamite” for “Butter” the band dropped their newest single “Permission to Dance”. “Butter” has spent seven weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming their fourth No. 1 after “Dynamite”.

The biggest boy band in the world BTS members RM, Jin, Suga, Jhope, Jimin, V and Jungkook  dropped their newest single “Permission to Dance” on last friday (9th July) as you can see in the mv they converted the sign language into choreography and showed respect to almost everyone. I don’t understand how can someone still hate them. Criticizing someone is really easy but appreciating  someone for their work is so hard.

“Butter” has spent seven weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming their fourth No. 1 after “Dynamite”. BTS is the most successful music groups in Guinness World Records history, alongside other chart topper like Ariana Grande, Madonna.

No one is saying you have to like BTS but saying that they have no talent can easily debunked.

They are making their whole nation feel proud, everyday they are setting new records, like “Suga” said, “They just want to make people happy with their music”. BTS is breaking their own records with their talent and with their killer looks. Remember before posting trash about them that “They have got ARMY right behind them, ALWAYS” cause,

“We Purple BTS”

Gender Equality

Equal rights and opportunities for all.

Opportunities and right should be equal for all. In our society the work is divided into two parts according to our gender, where a women’s appropriate job is cooking for her family and taking care of her children, in our Marathi language it’s called “Chul ani Mul”. Gender equality means that men and women have equal power and opportunities for financial, educational and personal development including own decision making power like a man has full power to take decisions for his own life, in same way a women should also have an equal power to control her own life and making her own decisions inside or outside the home. Dr B. R. Ambedkar the Father of Indian Constitution said “I measure the progress of a community by the degree of progress which women have achieved”, but if we don’t give them equal rights and opportunities then how can we say that world is going towards progress.

We are living in 21 century now but still globally, women have fewer opportunities than men , less access health and safety risks. Yet gender issues are not only about decision making or safety but also the relationship between men and women in society. Girls and boys faces gender inequality in their homes, communities and societies every day. Families who are not financially stable and can not afford school fees for all their children will prioritize education for their sons only. An educated girl is more likely to say “NO” to the young marriage, taking smarter decisions and raising her family and children alone. The action, behavior and attitude of boys and men towards girls and women’s is really plays an important role in gender equality, like a women can do a her dream job and take care of her children at a same time then why can’t men, atleast men can help them, can support them. Life of a women or a girl is filled with full of restrictions than men and after all this restrictions if something wrong happens first of all our society assumes that a women is responsible for this even without knowing the truth. Either taking girls and womens responsible for what happened we can tell our boys to respect girls and women’s , can tell boys to treat girls equally so one day we can make a better and safer world for women’s with equal rights and opportunities where “Gender Inequality” word never exist and genuinely we can say that the world is heading towards progress.
