Likewise, the 90s and early 2000s kids and teens were always found playing various sports on the grounds be it in the scrounching heat of summer Or the rainy days. The Gen Z today, are always found sitting in the corner of their rooms, binge watching several movies and series. Now as we got the reference to the title. Let’s take a look at some proofs of it;

According to Deadline’s september 2020 report, “NETFLIX has thrived during COVID-19, adding about 26 million global subscribers in the first half of the year to reach a total of 193 million. The streaming giant has fended off competition from a handful of multi-billion-dollar services coming to market over the past year, including Disney+, Apple TV+ and HBO Max.

According to Omdia (which excludes subscriptions from bundled offers), as of December 2020, Disney+ Hotstar had 18.69 million subscribers, a big jump from 5.36 million in 2019. Amazon Prime Video had 5.83 million subscribers — up from 4.34 million in 2019. The subscriber count of Zee5 and SonyLiv stood at 2.7 million (up from 1.99 million) and 1.81 million (up from 6.5 lakh), respectively, in 2020.

Are you a contributor to these numbers too?. Mostly yes right. OTT platforms, the numerous released web series and the movies has been the biggest buzz of year 2020. While not being permitted to move out of their homes, continue to work Or study properly due to closure of everything, all what people seemed to be left with to entertain themselves was their smartphones, laptops, TVs etc. Some considered this free time, sitting home and watching movies as freedom. Others saw them out of their boredom. Meanwhile the lack of fresh and entertaining content on TV due to lockdown, the slowly growing trends of OTT took a leap up to tremendous success all at once. And thereby arrived a wave of opportunities for the VOD Providers. Each and every every app started collaborating with makers to spruce up their libraries with better shows than competitors and gain as much paid subscribers as possible, leading to a terrific kick start to a era of Digital media. Not only are the platforms realising the need for more and better content but also the demand for the originals hit the grounds due to heavy competition. Netflix, which is the most premium OTT platform in India, charging Rs 499 per month, invested Rs 3,000 crore on Indian originals in 2019-2020. The time spent by each user on these shows increased rapidly, which made every app to double the efforts for attracting more and more rush their way.

Are These Investments Worth It?

According to reports and speculations future of OTT only seems to get better with time. As all the individuals be it kids, teens or adults with access to high connectivity, smartphones and other smart electronic devices and especially thousands of options of releases to watch everyday are only expected to get more and more addicted to this digital media. Being known to western culture, youngsters today are more into the concepts of privacy, space and being happy by themselves. Rather, than playing outdoor games with friends and being active around. And of course the lockdown restrictions and smartphone fever is hidden from none, which has contributed to growth of desirability of audience towards OTT. Along with that curbing of Theatre releases, also influenced bigger production houses to find their way to exploring VoD platforms. Another important feature here is unavailability of Censore board for OTT yet, which gives users the absolute right to choose what kind of creatives they want to watch. Having options of so many different platforms, with a vast choice of seamless content available on every platform, at reasonable prices, on any device of your choice within comfort of home or at every possible place and at any point of time in the day is and will be all what a person, especially the ones trapped in lockdowns could ask for.

Thus, Current scenarios indicate the most wide range of upcoming opportunities to both foreign and local VoD providers, proving it to become a long term market trend. While the maitained leadership to be expected from the platforms providing the most user friendly features in their apps and sites along with the best content as per the viewers’ personal choices.

Indian parenting:flaws

What is parenting?

Parenting is the means of upbringing of children. There a lot of parenting techniques. Depending on the techniques followed parenting may be efficient or inefficient.

Why is parenting important?

“Health” is described as the state of complete physical, mental, social well being and not merely the absence of disease.Parenting impacts the physical, mental and the social well being of children which means that it influences the children’s “health”.The factors that are influenced by parenting are of paramount importance in an individual’s life. Negligent parenting techniques may lead to deterioration of individual qualities in the child.

Parental attitudes:

Parental attitudes refers to the parent’s perspective of interaction with their children.Parental attitudes have intense consequences towards parenting. The different type of parental attitudes are Over-protectiveness, Permissiveness, Rejection, Acceptance (Democratic parenting style), Domination, Submission.

Over-protectiveness:

This parental attitude tend to prolong infantile care and prevents the development of Self-reliance. The children brought up through this parental attitude may become over dependent and always seek for attention/help from others. Children may also develop nervous tendency and they will lack Self-confidence. They may become sensitive to criticism.

Permissiveness(Laissez-Faire style) :

Parents always give their time and energy for the sake of children when they follow permissiveness style. Children become more selfish and demanding due to this parental attitude.

Rejection:

Rejecting attitude causes the parent to express dominance over the child. Parents who are dissatisfied with their marital life and who do not like parental responsibilities show hostility towards their children. The rejecting attitude of parents shapes the child into an aggressive child. Rejecting attitude also enables children to develop into an independent being and the children learn to spend time by themselves. This also results in exhibition of mature behaviour, however it causes mental stress upon the child.

Acceptance (Democratic parenting style) :

As the name intends, Acceptance style desires to accept the children for who they are. Acceptance style does not support criticism. Parents encourage freedom of emotional expression and love the child unconditionally. The word “unconditionally”means to love someone without any reason to love. That means, loving the children for who they are naturally. Unconditional love develops without “expectations”.Parents recognise and satisfy the child’s needs in this style. Therefore the child would face life confidently, and they would become an better introspector.

Domination:

Parents demand unquestioning obedience from their child through domination style.Children may eventually become polite, honest, self conscious and feel inferior.

Submission:

Submission style allows the children to dominate parents and treat them with no respect. This makes the child to become disobedient, irresponsible and careless.

Among all kind of parental attitudes, accepting attitude is the best because the parents follow Democratic methods of disciplining and children evolve to self-confident and cheerful personalities.

Flaws found in Indian parenting methods:

According to the Indian society, the most common mistake that some of the Indian parents commit is expressing dominance over the child. Not all Indian parents follow substandard parenting techniques, but most of the parents seem to raise their child with defective parenting techniques. Most of the Indian parents aim to control their children’s life completely. This is the most erroneous practice.

The parents control their children’s personal life and education. This control affects the children’s mental health.Sometimes parents also allow their kin to take responsibility for their child’s life. This further reflects on the child’s social life.As parents follow these techniques, the children begin to distance themselves from their parents.Parents expect children to behave in a certain way and they are not loved unconditionally. Parents should never try to control their children’s life just because they were born from them. A good parent only guides the pathway to their children’s life and the children are permitted to act upon their life decisions. The most important thing in any relationship is “Healthy Communication”.Similarly, Parents and the children must have a healthy communication between them. Healthy communication allows both of them to express their opinions confidently and sort out the queries.

Indian parents lack healthy communication with their children due to difference of opinions and busy schedule for work. Most of the children fear to express their opinions. Healthy communication also lets parents to teach important concepts of life to their children. Indian parenting is still followed as brutal practices where some of the parents try to kill their own children when children overstep their parent’s decisions. This happens due to the disgusting norms of the society such as indiscrimination due to caste, religion, money etc. Indian parents believe these norms due to the society and they fail to recognize their child’s needs. Indian parents must understand the importance of parenting.

Indian parenting is greatly impacted by the society. Thus it results in the flaws of parenting techniques.

Description of Metals, non-metals and metalloids

The process of man towards civilization is linked with the discovery of several metals and non-metals. Even today, the index of prosperity of a country depends upon the amount of metals and non-metals it produces. The wealth of a country is measured by the amount of gold in its reserve.

An element can be identified as metal or non-metal by comparing its properties with the general properties of metals and non-metals. In doing so, we find that some elements neither fit with the metals nor with non-metals.

Such elements are called semi-metals or metalloids. Elements are classified into metals, non-metals and metalloids based on their properties.

METALS

Iron, copper, gold, silver, etc. That we use in our daily life are metals. The properties and uses of metals are given below.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF METALS
Metals are solid under normal conditions of temperature and pressure.
Most metals are hard.
All metals are shiny. The typical shine of metals is called metallic lustre.
Metals generally have high density.

Metals in general have high melting point and boiling point.
Metals can be hammered into very thin sheets. This tendency of metals is called malleability. Using this property aluminium is transformed into silvery foils.
Metals can be drawn into thin wires. This property of metals is called ductility. Example : copper wires.
Generally metals are good conductors of heat and electricity.
On being hit, metals produce a typical sound. Hence, they are said to be sonorous. This property is being made used in making temple bells.

USES OF METALS
Iron is used for making bridges, engine parts, iron-sheets and bars.
Copper is used for making electrical wires, coins and statue.
Silver and gold are used for making jewels and for decorative purposes and photography.

Mercury is used in thermometers and barometers because of its high density and uniform expansion at different temperature.
Aluminium is used in electrical wires, cables and in aerospace industries.
Lead is used in automobile batteries, X-ray machines

NON-METALS

Elements like sulphur, carbon, oxygen etc. are non-metals. Some of the properties and uses of non-metals are given below.

PROPERTIES OF NON-METALS
Non-metals occur as solids, liquids or gases at normal temperature. For example, sulphur and phosphorus occur in solid state while bromine occurs in liquid state. Elements like oxygen, nitrogen etc., occur in gaseous state.
Non-metals are generally not hard except diamond (a form of carbon).
Non-metals have a dull appearance.

Non-metals are generally soft and have low densities. The exception here is a diamond (a form of carbon) which is the hardest naturally occurring substance.
Non-metals have low melting point and boiling point.
Non-metals are non-malleable.
Non-metals are not ductile. Carbon fibre is highly ductile.
Non-metals are generally bad conductors of electricity. Graphite (a form of carbon) is an exception.
Non-metals do not produce sound (non-sonorous) when hit.

USES OF NON-METALS
Diamond (a form of carbon) is used for making jewels, cutting and grinding equipments. Graphite is used in making pencil lead.
Sulphur is used in manufacturing of gun powder and vulcanization of rubber.

Phosphorus is used to make match boxes, rat poison etc.,
Nitrogen is used for manufacturing ammonia.
Chlorine is used as a bleaching agent and in sterilizing water.
Hydrogen is used as a rocket fuel and hydrogen flame is used for cutting and welding purposes. Hydrogen is also used as a reducing agent.

METALLOIDS
The elements which exhibit properties of metals as well as non-metals are called metalloids.

Examples: Boron, Silicon, Arsenic, Germanium, Antimony, Tellurium and Polonium.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF METALLOIDS
Metalloids are solids at room temperature.
They can form alloys with other metals.
Some metalloids, such as silicon and germanium, can act as electrical conductors under specific conditions. Thus, they are called semiconductors.

Elements classified as Metalloids have physical properties of both metals and non-metals. SHINY. Some are DULL. somewhat MALLEABLE and DUCTILE. SEMI CONDUCTOR of heat and electricity – conducts at a lesser level than metals. SILICON. ARSENIC. BORON.

Silicon which is a metalloid appears lustrous, but it is neither malleable nor ductile. It is brittle – a characteristic of some non metals. It is a much poorer conductor of heat and electricity than the metals.
The physical properties of metalloids tend to be metallic, but their chemical properties tend to be non-metallic.

USES OF METALLOIDS

Silicon is used in electronic devices.
Boron is used in fireworks and as a fuel for ignition in rocket.

SPACE DEBRIS

Space debris is the combination of natural(meteoroid) and artificial(man-made) particles. Natural debris orbits around the sun and artificial debris orbits around the earth. Hence they are called Orbital Debris. This can be any man-made object in the orbit moving in the earth’s orbit. Such debris includes nonfunctional spacecraft, abandoned launch vehicle stages, mission-related debris, and fragmentation debris.

In this article, we are going to focus on Artificial Debris, the Reason for its cause, and its prevention.

Space debris

What is Artificial space debris?

Any non-functional man-made object in space is called Artificial debris.

They come from

  • Satellites and spacecraft which are failed.
  • Satellites whose life has ended.
  • Rocket dismantle stages during the launch.
  • Hardware like nuts, bolts, payload covers, etc.
  • Solid propellant slag.
  • Cast aways during space activities like human wastes.
  • Fragments due to battery explosions, collisions, etc.

When two satellites collide they produce thousands of particles that are dangerous and can cause further destruction which makes Earth’s orbit unfit for satellite launches.

Artificial means man-made satellites

The number of satellite and rocket launches as of April 2021 is given below:

Number of rockets launched(excluding failures) since 19575560
Number of satellites carried by rockets launched11139
Number of satellites still in space7389
Number of satellites still functioning3170

Let’s have a look at the number of satellites launched only in 2020 and 2021(April)

Satellites launched in 20201283
Satellites launched in 2021 (April)853(65% of 2020)

History

In the year 2009, 19,000 debris over 5 cm in size were tracked.

In July 2013, more than 170 million debris smaller than 1 cm(0.4), around 670,000 debris of 1 to 10 cm in size, and approximately 29,000 larger debris were detected.

By July 2016, nearly 18,000 artificial debris were orbiting the earth.

In October 2019, nearly 20,000 artificial objects including 2,218 were tracked.

The speed with which the debris travel is more than 28,000 kph(23 times the speed of sound).

Have you heard of Kessler syndrome?

NASA scientist Donald Kessler in 1978, proposed that more launches could increase the junk around the earth which results in the chain reaction of collision of objects in space and further making the earth’s orbit unfit for satellites.

This situation would be extreme, but some experts worry that a variant of this could be a problem one day, and precautionary steps should be taken to avoid the problem.

How do they track space debris?

The USA and Russia have set up tracking networks to monitor the orbital space object population. The European Union is also starting to develop its ways to track debris.

Powerful lasers are used to measure the distance of these objects, like radar or sonar. When a laser beam hits the debris and bounces back to Earth, ground crews can measure how long it takes to figure out where they are and where they are going it alerts the ground stations in case of collisions. But usually, laser technology is used to detect the movement of satellites and if the same technique is used to detect the debris then continuous monitoring should be there since debris are found randomly in space.

India’s status on tracking debris

NETRA(Network for space Objects, Tracking, and Analysis)

Till now, ISRO was dependent on NORAD(North America Aerospace Defense Command) data,

which is available in the public domain, to keep track of space debris and monitor our active and passive satellites. However, this global data is not accurate but NORAD keeps accurate data available for those who are members of its network. Therefore, ISRO cannot access the data.

But now, ISRO has decided to set up telescopes and radars in four corners of the country to get accurate data and avoid unwanted collisions of the satellites.

In September 2019, India launched the early warning system NETRA to secure satellites and other assets in space.

Can satellites be protected from space debris?

There are two ways in which the satellites and spacecraft can be protected:

  • Computer programs can search for possible collisions between large debris. This system is used in the International Space Station to detect. These operations are expensive and can disturb delicate experiments. Space tracking networks can only track objects more than 100 mm in size. Even a 10 mm object can cause big trouble this cannot be called 100% effective.
  • A debris shield can be designed to provide additional protection for a spacecraft. One way is to increase the thickness of the craft but that can increase the mass of the craft/satellite. Hence, a specially designed shield called the Wipple shield was used. It was made of two thin walls separated by some space. It was observed that this wall was more resistant to debris. The outer layer absorbs a lot of debris energy so that the inner wall is not punctured.

Space debris Removal

Removing space junk, especially larger pieces before they fragment is not easy. The best way to do this is retarding the force and deorbiting the junk. When it drops in altitude less than 400 km above the earth it is burnt.

For years NASA, ESA, and other space agencies are studying debris removal technologies. Some of the ideas include the usage of nets to gather junk and robotic arm. Japanese are now developing a type of satellite that uses magnets to catch and destroy the debris. Last year, UK has successfully cast a net around a dummy satellite.

Clearspace one

Clearspace-1 will be the first space mission to remove debris from the Earth orbit, it was planned to launch in 2025. The technology demonstration satellite was first developed by the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne.

Clearspace one

Many countries are trying to invent new technologies to reduce the threat of debris. Russia invented a Self Destroying Satellite. Australian researchers are developing the Hunter-Killer satellite to neutralize space junk. Finland has developed a Wooden Satellite and planning to launch this year.

Lockdown:- Boon or a bane

We all are well aware of massive widespread of Covid 19 infection. Keeping that in mind, experts suggested for a complete lockdown again. Also, American Government’s head Health Advisor Dr.Antony Fauci suggested for complete lockdown and rejuvenate health services during that period. Now, Supreme Court also propounded the idea to Central Government, considering the vulnerable conditions of weaker sections of the society. Labours, daily wage workers, sections below poverty line should be given adequate facilities first.

Lockdown is an efficient way to control this pandemic, but our experience from last year’s lockdown was horrible, that’s why government is hesitating to impose complete lockdown again. As we all know that last year many poor people faced problems like lack of food and money, many labours and daily wage workers were migrating from cities to their hometown and many poors died of starvation or lack of access to health services. Our nation’s economy also faced huge fall of GDP. Our country were unstable because of lockdown. Many labours were stucked in cities that increased the number of corona positive patients. After first unlock, these workers rushed to their villages that resulted in huge blast of corona in rural areas that made situation more vulnerable. Many states have imposed lockdown in various ways but of no use. People are not taking it seriously like before. It would be better if state government impose short term lockdown after checking out the condition of the natives.

Supreme court has decided to provide proper facilities to poors before imposing lockdown. If central government take initiative to do so from now, there will be less problems and we’ll overcome this pandemic together.

LITERATURE

Literature broadly is any collection of written work, but it is also used more narrowly for writings specifically considered to be an art form, especially prose fiction, drama, and poetry. In recent centuries, the definition has expanded to include oral literature, much of which has been transcribed.

Literature can be classified according to whether it is fiction or non fiction and whether it is poetry or pose ; it can be further distinguished according to major forms such as the novel, short story or drama ;and works are often categorised according to historical periods or their adherence to certain aesthetic features or expectations (genre)

Development in print technology have allowed an ever-growing distribution and proliferation of written works, culminating in electronic literature

How to Write Formal Letter: Formal Letter Writing Tips

Want to write formal letter but don’t know how to write formal letter then this article is only for you and the learners who wants to learn letter writing. In today’s article we are sharing the steps, Tips or samples for writing formal letter.

Writing Formal letters are business like and get quickly to the point. Formal letters are different to personal letters. You do not write in a chatty manner or use slang. For example, you would write a different letter to your Principal inviting him to your class JCSP graduation as you would to your friend.

How to Write Formal Letter?

Formal letter writing is undoubtedly one of the most challenging types of letter format. When putting it together, often you are addressing a person or organization with whom you are not familiar and the quality of your content, including spelling and grammar will be strongly scrutinized.

Types of Formal Letter:

There are many types of latter :

  • Formal Request Letter
  • Formal Letter of Interest
  • Formal Apology Letter
  • Formal Complaint Letter
  • Formal Appeal Letter
  • Formal Reference Letter

Steps to Write All Formal Letter

  1. Introducing oneself if it is the first time you are writing.
  2. Referring to an earlier letter if you are responding to it.
  3. Stating the purpose of the letter.
  4. Stating action/information required from the addressee.
  5. Explaining action taken/supplying information.
  6. Urging action to be taken.
  7. Offering assistance in future.

This is the basic structure of formal letter. It will have to be modified according to the purpose for which it is written and the person to whom it is addressed.

Typical Format of Formal letter

Business correspondence should get across the message in a direct, clear and natural way. In contrast to informal letter writing, one should avoid using slang and casual language, clichés, short forms and abbreviations.

The writer should avoid overly formal and rigid language too. The letter should be logically structured and organized. The layout of a formal letter follows basically the same order:

Sender’s Address: The sender’s address usually is included in letterhead. If you are not using letterhead, include the sender’s address at the top of the letter one line above the date. Do not write the sender’s name or title, as it is included in the letter’s closing. Include only the street address, city, and zip code.

Date: The date line is used to indicate the date the letter was written. However, if your letter is completed over a number of days, use the date it was finished in the date line.
Write out the month, day and year two inches from the top of the page. Depending which format
you are using for your letter, either left justify the date or tab to the center point and type the date.

Inside Address: The inside address is the recipient’s address. It is always best to write to a specific individual at the firm to which you are writing. If you do not have the person’s name, do
some research by calling the company or speaking with employees from the company. Include a personal title such as Ms., Mrs., Mr., or Dr. Follow a woman’s preference in being addressed as Miss, Mrs., or Ms. If you are unsure of a woman’s preference in being addressed, use Ms.

  • Mr. – for a male
  • Mrs. – for a married female
  • Miss – for an unmarried female
  • Ms. – for a female whose status is unknown or would prefer to remain anonymous
  • Dr. – for a person with the status of a doctor

If there is a possibility that the person to whom you are writing is a Dr. or has some other title, use that title. Usually, people will not mind being addressed by a higher title than they actually possess. For international addresses, type the name of the country in all-capital letters on the last line. The inside address begins one line below the sender’s address or one inch below the date. It should be left justified, no matter which format you are using.

Salutation: “Use the same name as the inside address, including the personal title. If you know the person and typically address them by their first name, it is acceptable to use only the first name in the salutation (for example: Dear Tejas:). In all other cases, however, use the personal
title and last/family name followed by a colon.

Leave one line blank after the salutation. If you don’t know a reader’s gender, use a nonsexist salutation, such as their job title followed by the receiver’s name. It is also acceptable to use the full name in a salutation if you cannot determine
gender. For example, you might write Dear Chris Harmon: if you were unsure of Chris’s gender.

Body of Formal letter: For block and modified block formats, single space and left justify each paragraph within the body of the letter. Leave a blank line between each paragraph. When writing a business letter, be careful to remember that conciseness is very important. In the first paragraph, consider a friendly opening and then a statement of the main point. The next paragraph should begin justifying the importance of the main point. In the next few paragraphs, continue justification with background information and supporting details. The closing paragraph should restate the purpose of the letter and, in some cases, request some type of action.

Closing: The closing begins at the same vertical point as your date and one line after the last body paragraph. Capitalize the first word only (for example: Thank you) and leave four lines between the closing and the sender’s name for a signature. If a colon follows the salutation, a
comma should follow the closing; otherwise, there is no punctuation after the closing.

Enclosures: If you have enclosed any documents along with the letter, such as a resume, you indicate this simply by typing Enclosures one line below the closing. As an option, you may list
the name of each document you are including in the envelope. For instance, if you have included many documents and need to ensure that the recipient is aware of each document, it may be a good idea to list the names.

A Note about Format and Font of Formal Letter

Block Format: When writing business letters, you must pay special attention to the format and font used. The most common layout of a business letter is known as block format. Using this format, the entire letter is left justified and single spaced except for a double space between
paragraphs.

Font : Another important factor in the readability of a letter is the font. The generally accepted font is Times New Roman, size 12, although other fonts such as Arial may be used. When
choosing a font, always consider your audience. If you are writing to a conservative company, you may want to use Times New Roman. However, if you are writing to a more liberal company, you have a little more freedom when choosing fonts.

Punctuation: Punctuation after the salutation and closing – use a colon (:) after the salutation (never a comma) and a comma (,) after the closing. In some circumstances, you may also use a less common format, known as open punctuation. For this gyanlog style, punctuation is excluded after the
salutation and the closing.

Important Points About Formal Letter Writing :

  1. The date and signature are very important in letters.
  2. Do not use commas after every line in the address.
  3. Do not begin your letters with hackneyed expressions like, ‘With reference to your letter dated 10 January’. Instead, use personalised variations like, ‘I was glad to receive your letter of 10 January…’ or ‘We were happy to note from your letter that the goods have reached you safely…’
  4. Never end your letters with hanging participles like ‘Thanking you’ or ‘Awaiting your reply’. Instead write, ‘Thank you’ or ‘We/I await/look forward to your reply’.

An Inhumane Incident:Case of Bruno

Death of Bruno:
Bruno was the name of the dog that went through the unpleasant fate. Bruno was a friendly black Labrador in the care of Christuraj. The heart-breaking incident that lead to the death of Bruno took place in Adimalathura Beach, kottukal. The atrocious act happened in the state of Kerala, India.

On June 28,Monday three men at the Adimalathura Beach assaulted Bruno to death by hanging the dog to a fish hook of a boat and then Bruno was beaten by sticks. The accused Sunil(20), Silvester(22), and a 17 year old boy were arrested after this incident was filed as a complaint by the owner Christuraj. This vicious act was done to Bruno as it was resting under the boat of the accused. This incident came to light after the video of Bruno being beaten to death went viral on social media. The video was shared by the dog’s owner, christuraj. According to the police, Sunil one of the miscreants seemed to have some issues with his neighbour, Christuraj. The owner Christuraj was threatened by the culprits after the incident.

Bruno Dog:
The owner Christuraj was shocked after this brutal incident done to Bruno. He claimed Bruno as a friendly dog. Bruno was a 9-year old dog that usually has a habit of playing in the beach everyday.

Bruno’s Case:
Following the barbarous incident, Celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Tiger Shroff have raised their voices against the culprits. Kerala HC renamed Bruno’s case as “Tribute to dog brutally killed”.The court believed that this would be a tribute to the deceased dog.A great number of people raised their voices against this ruthless incident.
A similar case have been reported in Bangalore, two weeks ago. A man has brutally murdered a stray dog in the city and threw it in a drain. The video of the incident have been caught on camera and surfaced online. The police have filed a case against the man under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960.

Laws against animal brutality:
The amendment to the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 have been proposed by the Union Government. Importance of Animal safety must be ensured as much it is ensured for the human beings.

Importance of Animal safety:
Animals are the most affectionate and lovable beings. Taking care of them with extreme protection is a primary duty to all of us. Animals must never be subjected to violence. In case of any difficulty caused unknowingly by them, it should be reported to helplines. The wide prevalence of today’s technology enables one to find help trouble-free.
Similarly animal cruelty must be reported to defend the animals. Laws can help to punish the culprits against the brutal act. Animals would never try to harm human beings unless we act as a threat to them. Hence, Violence against animals is a punishable offense and atrocious. Not only animals, other creatures must also never be harmed unnecessarily. It can later lead to serious consequences.

Fearless Version of Your Own Will Be Rescued Tomorrow!

Your Constitution of Fearlessness:

Have you forgotten the definition of fearlessness, only for memorizing the phrasal verbs of English grammar, the scientific names of Biology, The periodic table of Chemistry or the pages after pages of memorable dates of History?

Yes, if it so, then keep it in mind that your next stop is in your death!!

Be brave. Be strong. Be fearless. - Quotes You Need
Be brave, Be strong in your personal life (Pic Source: Google)

14 billion years ago some accident made the universe  bang into existence. Another mysterious accident sprang to life on Earth . Even when the 1st cell is divided into two, Life has always struggled to survive. Even though death gives life its meaning, death is meaningless without a proper life. So will you be sure that you bravely utilized your life before you become the sustenance for insects?

Well, when India is celebrating her independence with a lot of propaganda, parades , songs & anthem, One question arises: Are you really free as an individual, neither as a resident of any state/ Metropolitan city nor as a proud citizen of an almost self-sufficient India?

So let’s not just sing songs and watch parades, rather ratify your own constitution for your own individuality ( so that the nuisance of hundreds of fears inside your heart temple cannot throw you out).

  1. Stop planning:  Too much planning makes us fearful – if the planning doesn’t come implemented, how will I manage? – This fear Kills the cells of our courage.
  2. Go back to Basics: While life intends to be happy in every step, the suggestion here goes like – Simplicity is the key to Happiness & fearlessness. Whenever & wherever you do something simple things, that comprises your creativity and that originality provides smile to your lips every time and you feel yourself out of fear in your own world.
  3. Release Control & Allow Yourself to make mistakes: Most of us fear not the ghosts or the scorpions; rather we fear to make mistakes — So allow yourself to make mistakes after all, that’s where learning and growth really happens. Learning comes from failures and that needs to release control. Your mistakes won’t make your head down, so make mistakes as much as you want & as long as you can.
  4. Learn to Love: Yes, you don’t know the definition of love at all. You think, love means love to any one sweetheart — No, not like that; as Nachiketa rightly pointed out —

“ভালবাসা কোন পেসমেকার নয়,

কোন এক বুকে নেবেই যা আশ্রয়;

ভালোবাসা তো মুক্ত হাওয়া;

বহু মনে খুজে পাওয়া;

নানা রাগে কোমল আর গান্ধার”

from “Ki Hobe” album of Nachiketa

The unconditional love will destroy the handcuffs of giant fear.

5. Jerk out your ego: Once I heard one conversation of two friends : 1st one is asking the 2nd one, “why haven’t you wished Moonal (their mutual friend ) Happy Birthday?” Then the 2nd friend replied, “why would I ? She haven’t wished me on my birthday.”

This is ego he hasn’t done. So I won’t do it. This Type of little little egoistic behavior will make us more unfree from the core of our hearts & that will carefully construct your fearful entity !So Get your ego out through your very breathing.

6. Stare at fearless people: Feel your brain with images of what you want it your tomorrow self to look like. Pick up your role models and contact them as you can weather in person through a book or online. That will serve the source to combat your fear.

7. Be aware of fear in your life: Before you begin overcoming fear you have to admit that you have it and besides you have to keep it in mind that fear is your normal site of being.

So take 10 minutes and write down some aspects of your life, where you feel fear. Get them down on paper and throw the script wherever you want that will plant a seed of fearlessness in your tender Heart.

8. Visualize your future situation without fear: Imagine yourself in a scary situation without fear. Think about the worst situation your life may pass through. What people do things fearlessly that will normally freak you out. Visualize yourself as that person and think what you would have done if it happened to you.

9. Be stupid, out of stereotypes: Remember once you are willing to risk the emotional pain of making mistakes, you will successfully Shed more fear than you ever imagined. The works that are stupid to others will help you obtain information by which you will invent your creativity.

Keep in mind that if you copy something/ some Attitude from anywhere, there fear that will kill you every moment to lose the same; but what your creation it’s extremely yours and has no fear to be lost, rather your creativity will gradually possess the area that previously your fear possessed.

10. Read books: A lot of intellectuals will recommend you to read the books on how to succeed in life, but please refrain from obeying this advice as well as them! Read whatever you want with fearlessness. Read the books of failure. As followed by APJ Abdul Kalam,

APJ Abdul Kalam’s Fearless Quote

The causes of being feared is rightly scripted in the song sung by Srikanto Acharya

“না রে, সাহস করে স্বপ্ন তো কেউ দেখছে না,

না রে, সত্যি কথা মুখ ফুটে কেউ বলছে না”

from “Bristi Tomake Dilam” album of Sikanto Acharya

So don’t delay, don’t cheat your life, do try in new adventurous activity, dare to experience the world in a different way. You are not sure if the alarm clock will be able to wake you up tomorrow, so wherever you face hindrance today, just pat your chest and say,

“Oo Chachchu, All Is Well”

CHANDRAYAN–1 and CHANDRAYAAN-2

Our country launched a satellite Chandrayaan–1 (Meaning moon Vehicle) on 22nd October 2008 to study about the moon. It was launched from Sathish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh with the help of PSLV (Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle) rocket. It was put into the lunar orbit on 8th November 2008.

The spacecraft was orbiting around the moon at a height of 100 km from the lunar surface. It collected the chemical, the mineralogical and the geological information about the moon. This mission was a major boost for the Indian space programs and helped to develop its own technology to explore the moon. Chandrayaan–1 was operated for 312 days and achieved 95% of its objectives. The scientists lost their communication with the space craft on 28th August 2009. On the successful completion of all the major objectives, the mission was concluded.

ONJECTIVES OF CHANDRAYAAN – 1
To find the possibility of water on the Moon.
To find the elements of matter on the Moon.
To search for the existence of Helium – 3.
To make a 3-dimensional atlas of the Moon.
To study about the evolution of the solar system.

ACHIEVMENTS OF CHANDRAYAAN-1
The discovery of presence of water molecules in the lunar soil.
Chandrayaan–1 confirmed that the Moon was completely molten once.
Chandrayaan–1 has recorded images of the landing site of the US space-craft Apollo-15 and Apollo-11.
It has provided high-resolution spectral data on the mineralogy of the moon.
The existence of aluminium, magnesium and silicon were picked up the X-ray camera.
More than 40,000 images have been transmitted by the chandrayaan-1 camera in 75 days.
The acquired images of peaks and craters show that the Moon mostly consists of craters.
Chandrayaan-1 beamed back its first images of the Earth in its entirety.
Chandrayaan-1 has discovered large caves on the lunar surface that can act as human shelter on the Moon.

CHANDRAYAAN-2
ISRO has currently launched a follow on mission to Chandrayaan-1 named as Chandrayaan-2 on 22nd July 2019. Chandrayaan-2 mission is highly complex mission compared to previous missions of ISRO. It brought together an Orbiter, Lander and Rover. It aims to explore South pole of the moon because the surface area the south pole remines in shadow much larger than that of North Pole.

ORBITER
It revolves around the Moon and it is capable of communicating with Indian Deep Space Network (IDSN) at Bylalu as well as Vikram Lander.

LANDER
It is named as Vikram in the memory of Dr.Vikram A.Sarabhai, the father of Indian space program.

ROVER
It is a six wheeled robotic vehicle named as ‘Pragyan’ (Sanskrit word) that means wisdom. Chandrayaan-2 was successfully inserted into the lunar orbit on 20th August 2019. In the final tage of the mission, just 2.1 km above the lunar surface, Lander ‘Vikram’ lost its communication with the ground station on 7th September 2019. But the Orbiter continues its work successfully.
