Series Review: Deathnote

Death note is anime with 37 episodes (Anime is hand-drawn and computer animation originating from Japan). It is psychological anime, it do not have much action, but a battle of minds. Death Note has crime, suspense, logic and thrill. It’s famous because it puts heavy emphasis on the act of dying and depth and darkness of the world in which we live in. You will love the characters and how insanely smart each one is Yagami Light and L are two of the most loved & smartest fictional characters.

“The human whose name is written in this note shall die.” – Death Note
Imagine one day you come across a notebook, but it’s not like those notebooks that you can buy at the nearest bookstore. By writing someone’s name on that notebook, you can kill that someone. What would you do?

The story of Death Note starts when a perfect student, appearance-wise and intelligence-wise, Yagami Light comes across the Death Note, a Shinigami’s (God of Death) notebook. On Death Note, an instruction of how to use the Death Note is written in English language. Light, being curious, tries to write a criminal’s name onto the Death Note, and much to his disbelief, the criminal dies. Light then vows to rid the world of evil to make a better world, he executes every criminal under the alias of Kira (Japanese interpretation for the English word “killer”). Fast forward for a few weeks, the polices begin to notice there are unusual deaths going among the criminals, they then decide to bring in the legendary detective L to track down whoever is killing the criminals. Although it is true that the criminal rate has gone down drastically ever since Kira shows up, L believes that Kira is promoting peace in the wrong way.

First of all, I have to say that the art is really well-drawn. Although it is tagged as shounen and most of the time it shows guys, the girls are really well drawn as well. The art style in this anime is really suitable for the genre. The art tries to be as “anime-like” as possible while maintaining its realistic and mysterious quality. I personally think there isn’t any better-suited drawing style for Death Note.

I find this anime really interesting sound-wise. The background music, which slides in every now and then, will allow you to feel the suspense and keep you on the edge of your seat. The voice actors/actresses are also very good. The voices for “shinigamis” are well dubbed in a hoarse voice. The opening and ending songs are really good, lyrics wise and music wise.

The characters are very unique and varied. Light would not bat an eye when he is killing other people, L likes to sit with his legs raised on the chair. Light and L are pretty much opposite in everything they do, but they both don’t like losing, and they will do practically anything to avoid it. Other characters, like Amane Misa, which will be introduced later as the anime goes, is also very unique. Out of all the characters in the anime, I personally find L very interesting.

The end is so awesome that it will give you goosebumps. Yagami Light and L, these two are like the best fictional characters. The battle between the minds of Kira and L was great. Death Note was gripping, fast-paced and brilliant throughout. It will keep you hooked till the end! There is this one thing that is very special about Death Note. After every episode, you will be like “What’s Now?”. This anime is full of suspense and thrill which makes it one of the best.

Death Note is one of those animes that require a bit of thinking in order for you to fully understand what’s going on. It’s really interesting to see how Kira and L try to outsmart one another, and it’s even more interesting when you can actually understand why they do what they do.

I really enjoyed this anime, and I will recommend this to almost anyone out there with decent comprehension level. Although this anime is relatively old (it was released in 2006), I feel the need to review this anime since I think this anime is hands-down one of the best animes out there. If you like those animes which require you to think, give this anime a shot.

5 Paranormal Myths

Just because the paranormal is that the realm of the unexplained doesn’t mean there isn’t any explaining to try to do. Humans have always sought to define the planet around us, and even to the worlds which will be beyond us. As a result, throughout millennia, we’ve developed countless theories and told endless stories within the realm of paranormal popular culture, and there are tons of misconceptions that have taken root within the public’s consciousness. Believe it or not, even when handling the mysterious realm of ghosts, aliens, and creatures, there are some things we will fairly confidently label as false. So, to clear up some incorrect assumptions about the unexplained, let’s take a glance at 5 Paranormal Myths.

  • Paranormal Facts Exist – The term “paranormal” applies to anything currently beyond the range of scientific explanation. So anyone who claims they need access to the rulebook of the paranormal, which they know a foolproof way of creating a ghost go “boo!” is perhaps a charlatan … or close to be pretty famous. many researchers — including reputable scientists — have compelling theories about unexplained phenomena and are trying to use those utilizing the methodology, but thus far, paranormal facts don’t quite exist.
  • Ghosts Only begin in the dark – There are tons of reasons to ghost hunt at night: the planet quiets down because the day fades away; some locations only allow you to enter after the close of daytime business hours; it’s much creepier at night; and, most significantly, it’s the simplest time to play together with your sweet night-sight camera! But if you would like to chase ghosts, you’ll even as effectively roll in the hay during the day, consistent with most paranormal researchers. It’d even be a simpler time because that’s when the dead were probably most alive.
  • There’s No Physical Evidence of Bigfoot – While there haven’t been any bodies found, Bigfoot researchers claim there’s quite a little bit of physical evidence to suggest the creatures exists — including hair, blood, tissue, tracks, and, yes, poop. There is also a growing community of scientists who believe in Sasquatch, including famed primatologist Dr. Goodall and Dr. Jeffrey Meldrum of Idaho State University, among others. Eric Altman of the Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society stresses that, as far because the lack of physical remains (a dead Sasquatch), fossilization requires very specific conditions and Mother Nature has an efficient system of breaking down animal remains in about 10 days — so a freshly-dead specimen of the already-rare creature would be hard to seek out.
  • Only Old Buildings are Haunted – A decrepit, ancient Victorian mansion with broken windows, creaky floorboards and moldy furniture could also be the simplest haunted house in Hollywood, but it’s not where ghosts necessarily hang around. Beyond just old houses, researchers claim to possess found paranormal evidence in jails, asylums, hospitals, hotels, museums, battleships, cruise liners, cars, roads, and forests. New locations also can be haunted, as can the bottom where a replacement building is established. There doesn’t necessarily need to be a death on the property, either. it’s widely accepted within the paranormal community that objects and other people themselves are often the main targets of a haunting.
  • America’s Paranormal Fascination is New – Although the paranormal has become quite fashionable with the arrival of investigation-based reality shows, America’s fascination dates back to the origins of the state. The paranormal peaked within the US within the mid-19th and early 20th centuries with the introduction of Spiritualism, a spiritual philosophy that espoused that communication with the imaginary place is positive. Mary Todd Lincoln, Clemens, and Houdini were among the American celebrities who became a part of the paranormal conversation, and therefore the public gathered in homes and auditoriums to attach with the dead in séances. Beyond ghosts, future president Teddy Roosevelt wrote of a frontiersman’s encounter with a Bigfoot-like creature in 1893, and other Sasquatch stories would periodically make their way into the news. Long before the Battle of l. a. in 1942 or The Roswell Incident in 1947, “airships” were reported within the skies above America — and newspaperman S.E. Haydon wrote about the crash of such a ship in Aurora, Texas, in 1897, about 6 years before the Wright Brothers’ first flight.

Film industry in covid-19 crisis.

The COVID-19 Pandemic has had an impact on nearly all aspects of our lives, and the film industry is no exception.Movie theaters are by nature a high-risk environment, as they often pack hundreds of people into a small space together for extended periods of time. Additionally, it can be difficult and time-consuming to clean them, making them less than ideal for a highly contagious virus like COVID-19.So how have businesses like movie theater chains and film production companies adjusted to these unprecedented times?

Movie theaters have arguably been hit the hardest, and several major chains such as Cinemex have been forced to close down permanently. Even AMC, the largest chain in America, may be forced to file for bankruptcy. Some smaller chains and independent theaters have allowed small groups of people to book private screenings, in an attempt to earn some money. Several states have announced support for a socially-distanced reopening of theaters, but with distribution companies not releasing new films and most film-goers wary, it remains to be seen if many will reopen at all.

Because of the Covid-19 lockout, the demand for OTT content has skyrocketed. The largest participant in this market, ‘Netflix,’ had a huge income that surpassed $25 billion US dollars in 2020. Similarly, the income of other OTT platforms has skyrocketed! Have you ever wondered how these OTT media generate money?

Over the top media is a video streaming technology that allows you to enjoy content while connected to the Internet. There is also a large selection of content available in both free and paid versions, such as movies, TV series, and documentaries.OTT media creates movies by assembling a crew and funding them out of their own pockets. The second option is to buy the rights from filmmakers in order to expand their content inventory.

With the use of machine learning known as Algorithm, over the top media know their audience’s preferences. This medium is dubbed “The Future of Entertainment,” as our generation is completely reliant on these channels for entertainment. The profitability of OTT media is determined by the number of viewers and subscribers. The more people that use these platforms, the more money may be made through the aforementioned revenue models.

Once a movie becomes a hit and garners huge box office collections, its subsequent satellite and OTT rights will also be priced at exorbitant rates, said Umrotkar. “…that way, OTT releases are not going to compensate for the potential the movie could have had,”both cinemas and OTT platforms will coexist beautifully.

Anime

Anime refers to the animation work produced in Japan. Over the years, anime industry has grown significantly and anime has made it’s way all across the globe. With fans all around the world, anime is one of the greatest achievements of Japan.
Anime uses traditional style of animation. It is basically like a flipbook animation where each frame is drawn by hand. Even after the rise of computer generated animation, the anime industry still sticks to the traditional method of animation. Although CGI is used for special effects but the vast majority of animation is done traditionally. Because of this, anime has a distinct animation style, it somehow looks different, far more detailed and feels like an artwork.
The stories they animate are generally taken from the Japanese comics called ‘manga’. Usually a manga is released first after which it is adapted as an anime but this is not always the case. Some anime are original i.e. without any manga source material while others are released prior to their respective mangas.
Anime originally has Japanese audio. It can be watched with subtitles. Anime is often dubbed in different countries in the language they prefer, mostly it dubbed in English.
Another great feature of anime is the variety of genres and content it offers. Since anime is an animation, most people confuse it as ‘children’s cartoon’ or a ‘kids show’ but this is a very wrong belief as it undermines the content that anime offers. It is true that anime has content for children too but it’s not entirely that. It offers content for teens, young adults and adults. In fact the mainstream anime is targeted for an older audience. Taking about the genres, it has a lot to offer. Action, adventure, thriller, fantasy, sci-fi, romance, slice of life and what not. Each single genera offers a ton of different animes to watch.
The music in the anime is also very appealing. The opening an ending songs are usually taken from the j-rock or j-pop bands. The soundtracks used in the episodes can generate hype real quick and makes the overall experience fun.
Anime is a great source of entertainment and can teach valuable life lessons as well. One can learn a lot about the Japanese culture through anime. Here are some of the greatest anime out there which are worth checking out:
• Death Note:
Genre: mystery, thriller, supernatural
The story revolves around a boy named Light who finds a book which has the ability to kill the person whose name is written in it. Using that book he starts killing criminals to build a better world. This is however considered as serial killing and the investigators with the assistance of a detective named L try to apprehend the culprit.
This anime is a delight for thrill seekers and mystry lovers. It questions what true justice is and presents different perspectives of it.
•Naruto series:
Genre: adventure, fantasy
The series tells the story of an orphaned ninja named Naruto who has a demon sealed inside him. He seeks acknowledgement from his peers and dreams of becoming the leader of his village.
This anime is a classic and teaches many life lessons the most important being never giving up.
• Your Name
Genre: romance, fantasy, drama
This movie revolves around two teenagers who share a magical connection of switching bodies. Things get complicated when they decide to meet in person.
This anime has a breath-taking animation and has a very different take on love.

INTO THE WORLD OF WEBTOONS

Everybody has heard of K-Pop, many people know K-Dramas. After all, the Hallyu wave from Korea has been stunning the world for a long time now. With the addition of K-Dramas of various genres to Netflix and the exponential rise in fame of bands like BTS and Blackpink, Korean culture is taking over hearts in almost every part of the world. There is another part of Korean entertainment that is also making waves. Though not as prevalent yet, as Kdramas or Kpop, this part is also creating waves in its own way. What I am talking about are Webtoons.

Webtoon is an app that is part of the online portal developed in Korea called Naver. It was initially launched in Korea but soon after its rising popularity, it was launched globally in languages that included Chinese, Japanese, English, French, Indonesian, Spanish, Thai and German.

Webtoon is home to hundreds and thousands of comics across almost 20 different genres ranging from romance, to slice-of-life, to action and horror. Webtoon brought attention to the Korean equivalent of ‘Manga’, called ‘Manhwa’. The translations of these ‘Manhwa’ comics were released through the Webtoon app and has now gained a lot of popularity.

People still prefer reading Manga as books and their digitized copies are also in the form of ‘pages’. But, ‘webtoons’, as the comics on the app are called, are different. They are made solely for the mobile phones. They have a continuous style of page distribution, where one episode is generally one long page that you can scroll through easily on a phone. To be honest, the best experience of reading a webtoon is on the phone. Reading it on a desktop just does not have the same feel. This is bringing a lot of change in the way artists are planning out storyboards and layouts too.

That is another thing about webtoon. They have something called ‘Canvas’. This is a space where any artist can upload their comics for people from around the world to read. Through competitions and contests, many of these comics are recognized and taken up by the Webtoon corporation and made into an ‘Original’ on the app. When released as ‘Originals’, the artist is hired under the corporation and is financed by the corporation. The comic is serialized with proper release schedules and a more wider audience range. In this way, Webtoon is a great platform for aspiring comic book artists to get their works recognized and applauded.

During the lockdown, I came across the app and now I am fully hooked. There is so much variety both in terms of art styles and in terms of stories. So, I have decided to compile a list of my favourite webtoons for those who want to start reading and for those who already know and are looking for something new to read. So here goes!

1. WINDBREAKER

Windbreaker.

  • Status: Ongoing
  • Genre: Sports
  • No. of Eps: 339 (so far)

This webtoon is one of my all time favorites. It is a sports webtoon about extreme and street cycling. Reading this webtoon made me, a couch potato at the best of times, to also want to ride a bicycle. It follows a group of high school kids who start a cycling crew to enter a street cycling competition. It is about how they grow together both as riders and human beings in general.

The art is amazing, the story is amazing and every week I am waiting excitedly for a new episode to release. It is a really nice webtoon to start off your foray into this world, especially for those who love cycling and even for those who don’t. It is a very underrated webtoon that I hope gets a lot more love.

2. SPIRIT FINGERS

  • Status: completed
  • Genre: drama
  • No. of eps: 167

For anyone looking for a light hearted webtoon to start their day, this is the perfect one. It is the story about a girl who has lived all her life as an awkward teenager and lacking self-confidence. But then, she encounters a group of the ‘hippest, strangest, coolest (yet most welcoming)’ people ever in the form of an art club called ‘Spirit Fingers’. Then begins her journey of self discovery self love.

A webtoon filled with lovable characters, dumb incidents and just hilarious in many senses, it is one that also gives out the message that everyone is unique and a ‘COLOR’ of their own. It is just about taking our the time to find yourself and your group. It is a small webtoon compared to the others on the list with just 166 episodes but a fun read nevertheless. The art took me some getting used to. But it grows on you and by the end of it you are in love with not only ALL the characters but also with how they are drawn.

3.LOST IN TRANSLATION

lost in translation
(img source:https://i.quotev.com/ihmkhfxjzola.jpg)
  • Status: ongoing
  • Genre: drama
  • No. of eps: 71 (so far)

This is one of the webtoons I started reading as soon as it released, so I have been part of the whole journey so far. It is a webtoon that brings the two worlds of webtoons and the Kpop industry together. The webtoon is about an Idol group member whose stage name is ‘Wyld’. As ‘Wyld’ of group ‘Mayhem’ he is embroiled in scandals and has a persona of a player but in reality “Jaehwon’ is just a huge cinnamon roll who was forced to put on the persona by the company he works under. It is a new webtoon with not even a hundred episodes yet but I already love it. The art is distinctive and the story is really good so far. I cant wait to see how much better it is going to get.

Another thing about the band, Mayhem. It actually exists! It is a 2d band that has a huge fan following, basically readers of the series. If you go to YouTube and search for Mayhem, you can even listen to an original song along with a music video that was released by the band. Twitter pages for all band members is also there all having a huge amount of fan following. This is another thing about the webtoon that is keeping me hooked.

So there you have it. A small list of my favorite webtoons that I hope everyone will enjoy as much as me. There are so many more good ones that I haven’t included in the list. Many that can be found the minute you open the app. And new ones are getting added almost everyday. It is a new world in itself. One I have enjoyed stepping into and being a part of. I hope this helps you also in your foray into the world of webtoons.

Influencer Marketing in 2020: Trends and Strategies of Your Company.

In the era of digital marketing, the rise of influencer marketing in recent years is undoubtedly eye-catching. Influencer marketing trends dominate today’s marketing world.
To understand influencer marketing, let’s look at this example. You have just started to learn about sportswear. The company also wants to advertise their products. You want to target the right audience, and you want people to trust your brand.

How should people trust your product when no one knows your brand?
If someone you trust has a coupon for your product, that person may be a celebrity on various social networks.Someone may be an athlete trusted by your target audience. When these trustworthy people recognize and support your brand, people will notice your brand and show genuine interest in buying. This is an example of influencer marketing. People you know very well. When your friends or family tell you that a place is suitable for making burgers or buying clothes, do you trust these people? Do you want to make a difference? You know this person and their social media activities very well. The most important factor is your trust in these influencers. In the past, celebrities were considered effective influencers. Today, you don’t have to be a celebrity to be an influencer.

How do you organize an influential promotion strategy?
Before doing anything, the main theme you want to try is to develop a methodology for your influencer marketing activities. This will help you get things done at the right time. With the right strategy, you will not be able to track the performance of influencer marketing activities. First, you need to decide to choose the type of platform that suits your niche or brand. Then choose the right influencers and analyze their demographic data. After all, please double check your budget. The platform is the main problem you face. Analyze the network or platform that suits your brand. This is usually necessary because you want to understand that the type of product you sell is currently popular and you plan to make a difference on this social network. For example, fitness products such as serums, vibrators and sportswear are very popular on Instagram. In this way, you can find the right social network that suits your image or product, and locate the right people who are interested in your product. Now that you have found the right platform, it’s time to look for influencers. The challenge for the right influencer in the future is to use the right influencer, check their demographic data, and figure out how they will help you. You need to analyze the influencers associated with your niche, and you need to know that their age and quality differ on open social media platforms. You need to visualize your demographic data and the types of followers. The last thing you should check is that they want followers to be interested in buying your product. You must organize how Internet celebrities can help you promote and sell your clothing and products, on which platforms or networks they promote your brand or in what way, such as through videos or pictures. In the end, the must and challenge is to find everything that fits your budget. For example, if you have a reasonable budget, you will rent out to anyone with a large number of fans. However, with a tight budget, you need to find the right person with good fans. For example, the number of followers of this influencer can be between 10 and 20,000.
The most important thing is the influence of the people you hire on the people you want to position. What is the latest trend of influencer marketing?

POLYTHENE BAGS ARE HARMFUL FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

Introduction

Plastic bags are the main cause of plastic pollution. The pollution which is destroying our environment. To reduce pollution plastic bags must be banned. Humans try to decompose them but it does not decompose instead it leads to air, water as well as soil pollution. It is said that plastic bags are the leading causes of increasing pollution.
For this reason plastic bags are banned in various countries. In spite of knowing the consequences, plastic bags are still used widely in most parts of the world making it harmful for the environment.

Plastic bags are readily available in the market and are used widely. These are popular at the grocery stores, markets, etc because they are handy and are comfortable to carry the grocery items like rice, wheat flour, pulses. Apart from grocery items it is used to carry veggies, fruits etc.

It is available in various sizes; these are quite economical and also easy to carry or use. But the cost for using these bags -is overlooked. These bags are costing us our beautiful environment. The plastic bags that we use in our everyday life are very much harmful to the environment. The actual problem is much more severe than it appears to us.

Plastic bags are destroying the soil making our agricultural lands infertile. It also causes several other serious problems. To ensure a cleaner and greener environment many countries have banned the use of plastic bags. Among those countries, India is one of them.

Our country has banned the use of plastic bags in many states. However, the implementation of this rule hasn’t been proper.

These are still available in the market. The retailers provide goods in these bags, and the shoppers gladly take their stuff in these easy to carry bags. And another reason for this does not have a proper option to replace them.

It is time for each one of us to understand the severity of the issue and stop the use of plastic bags.

Plastic Bags – A Boon or A Bane /A Curse?

Plastic bags are lightweight and can be carried anywhere without much effort.

This may sound like a blessing to us, but in reality it is much more harmful than its uses. They get carried away by the wind and water because of its light weight. They end up landing on the seas and water and pollute them. They get stuck in fences and pollute the environment while getting carried away with the wind.

The material used to make plastic bags is polypropylene. This material makes them durable thus making them last for a longer time. This polypropylene is prepared from natural gas and petroleum. They are non biodegradable in nature.
Green-house gases like Methane Carbon, Monoxide, and Carbon Dioxide are released during the production of various plastics products including plastic bags. This is a significant cause of global warming in the world today.

There is a misconception that recycling is an alternative to the misuse of plastic bags but recycling of plastic products cannot be a good choice because only 5% of the plastic bags can be recycled and the remaining 95% find their way in soil, water and landscape causing pollution. Only 35-40 percent of plastic bags are being recycled and the remaining 60% is not even known where it is gone.

As 60% of the plastic bags are not being traced, the producers are forced to produce more products to meet the needs of people. Everyone considers plastic bags as the most convenient bags to carry loads but it has the most harmful effects on human health.
Synthetic substances present in the polythene bags can disturb the typical working of hormones in the body. Most plastic pieces in the seas, like plastic bags, have a few contaminations, for example, PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyl) together with PAHs (Polycyclic fragrant hydrocarbons), which disturbs the normal function of our hormones.

When the marine creatures eat these synthetic substances, they travel through the food web then later into the people who consume sea animals, especially the fish.

How can we minimize their use?
In many countries across the world plastic bags have been restricted in several nations all over the world.

In many states the Government of India has already restricted the utilization of plastic bags.

Strict measures must be taken to ensure that the use of these bags is stopped. There must be curbs on the production of plastic bags altogether.
Retailers for selling as well as those who are carrying and using plastic bags must be fined.
Good quality plastic available in the market must be made chargeable. This is a good strategy to minimise the use of plastic bags.
To provide a proper alternative of polythene bags is another good strategy. The alternative must be cost efficient and have to be similar in use.

Conclusion
We had often overlooked and underestimated the harmful consequences caused due to plastic bags because we don’t notice the long term effect of these small, easy to carry bags used in our daily life.

People keep on using these bags owing to their convenience. They completely ignore the real fact about these bags that they are harmful for the environment and are a threat to life on earth.

the stability of life

A father’s fears and tears are unseen, his love is unexpressed, but his care and protection remains as a pillar of strength throughout our lives.

Ama H. Vanniarachchy
Happy Father's Day to all dads - The Sunday Guardian Live

Stability, when we ponder upon this, we can think of many things. For some, it means having a peaceful life sheltered within the four walls and a roof, while for some, it means well enough income for sustainability while others might think about their plans like marriage. But for these versions of stability, one has to work hard and sacrifice everything in his way to achieve it. But there is one kind no one has to ever work for, a kind we receive since we are born in this world, that is, the stability provided by the pillar of our lives, our dad.

A dad is an individual who sacrifices all his versions of stability so that his son and daughter can live a stable life. He gives up his peace, his savings so that he can secure his young ones future. He devotes his entire existence to us to live a better and happy life at the expense of his countless days of sleep.

A mother may carry us inside her womb for nine months but, it’s the father that helps us take our first step. When we fall, it’s the mother who treats our injuries but, it’s a father who tells us to get back up and try again. While a mother supports us emotionally, it’s the father who shows us what real strength is.

On the brink of this pandemic, where many lost their families, jobs, houses, the pillars of our household didn’t lose hope. Without proper public transportations, they travelled long miles for their work, worked alternatively from their home and office to fulfil the shortages inside their household. And unfortunately, many fathers lost their lives due to this.

Their real strength is hope. Hope to feed their families at heart’s content with their earnings, hope to see their kids become successful in life, hope their loved ones to lead a healthy life and hope that their family would live on if something were to happen to them. They may or may not have higher qualifications in this modern era of technologies, but they have the best experience when it comes to life. Having been through countless ups and downs and having seen the lowest of the low points in life, they try to give their kids a perfect life so that they wouldn’t have to experience the cruelty of the world. They protect from the frontline while stepping aside during celebrations shows how selfless and giving their love is.

So on this Father’s Day, let’s appreciate his sacrifice and show him that his hard work was never in vain. Let us show him that we were always thankful for his guidance whenever we stuck at crossroads, felt safe when he covered us with a blanket at night, were happy when he fulfilled all our wishes without any expectations. But, we also got worried when he was late, tensed when he caught a cold, felt sorry when we saw the dark circles under his tired eyes, cried when we saw him hurt but loved him from the bottom of our hearts as he was and always will be the permanent stability of our lives.

Way More to Go..!!

Priyanka Chopra

PC..

Priyanka Chopra the name we all heard, An idol to us how did she managed to make such an impact to the people who knows her…well here are some of the fundamentals which she followed and everyone around her knows about and follows her: –

Below are the some of the motivating lessons which Priyanka Chopra taught us. Never try to settle for less for yourself unless it harms others.

Being confident and competed

Priyanka was never confident earlier. She believes in that no one is born confident it is what people need to develop within themselves, which will lead them to a long way. When she was on the stage for beauty pageants, she knew she was not confident, but she was competent. She did not let that come to her face. And when she won, she asked the judges there were more beautiful girls why choose me? They replied you were confident.

Explored more out of life

Suppose if the Priyanka we knows now as a actress, author, entrepreneur, and an idol was an aeronautical engineer; could it be possible for us to know her then? Wasn’t being an aeronautical engineer dream of her, then why did she choose this path in her carrier?

Though it was a dream of her to be an aeronautical engineer she tries to explore more in her life, she tried to get the more out of it, she believed in that there never is a point in life where you should stop yourself from gaining more knowledge.

Set high standards

She believed in that, no one’s opinion (societies opinion) is going to define your dreams. You must set a high standard for yourself and try to break even that high standard even higher. She believed everyone should fight for their dreams because no one else is going to do that for them. They are your dreams the standard which you sat try to achieve it and reach that high standard. Do not let others decide your opinion.

Hated failures

What is a success without failure but doing the same mistakes again and again she hated it she tried to not let the same mistake happen twice?

Various choices to be make

Throughout in our life’s we come to various situations where we have to make choices time to time to look for our priority but what if both the choices were an equal priority for you. She believes, in life at times you have to make a choice only but if the given both options are your priority choose them and work for it.

Never forget the roots

She believed in we all should never forget the root the place where we came from, all the happiness, hardship, sadness, sorrow which made us what we are today. Because that is what made us what we are today

“No one can tell you how much you can do. You have to set your own standards”

Music: what’s your thing?

Allegory of Music, by François Boucher, 1764

Music is the art of arranging sounds in time to produce a composition through the elements of melody, harmony, rhythm, and timbre. It is one of the universal cultural aspects of all human societies. General definitions of music include common elements such as pitch (which governs melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics (loudness and softness), and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture (which are sometimes termed the “color” of a musical sound). Different styles or types of music may emphasize, de-emphasize or omit some of these elements.

Okay! So in simple words music gives us a thrilling experience, it lowers down our stress and gives us a reliefable experience. Many of us might have different-different artists. Different types, different tastes, but I love all the types of music. Depending upon the mood but you know we all have a phase where we do need a motivational song, Which motivates us, which gives us a idea that where we are and where do we have to go. Sometimes we need a song which make us feel good after a breakthrough it might be when you fought with your best friend may be your partner may be your siblings your parents, from those who mean alot to you.

And there are a lot of types of music it may be:

1. EDMs.

2. Motivational songs.

3. Romantic songs.

4. A breakthrough song.

5. Rock music.

6. A whole mood song. Which gives you a thrill and makes your legs move. That song will let you dance. It happened with me I was once travelling in the metro and I was using my earbuds and suddenly that song came and I was like ‘yea it’s a whole vibe’.

And etc etc there are many types of songs but yes for sure it depends upon our mood

So my moto to write an article on this topic was that if you’re angry sit alone listen to music if you’re happy listen to the music if you can’t handle things listen to the music if you’re in a phase you can’t tell anyone please listen to the music. It just lower down the stress and music is the only thing you’ll listen to at that time this is my experience.

Are Romantic Movies Damaging Real Relationships???

Let us be honest.

To start with, like everything, romantic movies too affect in both positive and negative ways. Talking about positive effects of romantic movies that shows the love relationships between two individuals, irrespective of their age, sex, caste, country and religion affects and in a way broadens the concept of love between two. If we see the earlier and even today’s version of a country like India, we are very well known by the fact that the only love that was considered dignified and pure was that of between two individuals of different sex, same caste, same religion and same age group that also needed to happen between two after marriage only. Love before marriage, love between same sexes, love between individuals of different caste and religion was not at all accepted in earlier India. But now, as we see India is changing bit by bit. There are many who accepts and encourages love that has no boundaries of sex, marriage, caste etc. And for this change, two things are responsible : 1- Education and 2- Romantic movies. Its film industry and the films that younger generations learn from and try to follow. And when these younger generations become older, they allow their next generations to love before marriage and all sort of things. In some cases, old generations also try not to enforce the laws and boundations that were earlier enforced on them in their young ages that didn’t allowed them to love freely and in a way forced them to suppress their desires. That’s how films normalised and even today trying to normalize the love of different kinds that knows no boundaries  at all. Films taught people that its nothing wrong in it if they are falling for someone of the same sex or different age group. Off course, only if the other person is also into it equally. Also, romantic movies presents the feelings and situations of both individuals equally and that helps people to understand their partner better. We cannot deny the fact that every person is different in nature and might have different feelings and circumstances that made her/him but anyhow, by  presenting love relationships, it gives a sight into other person’s psyche. Or we can say, romantic movies makes us to think beyond ourselves.

Now coming to the negative effects of romantic movies we may say that such movies also develops a particular image of love, what our partner should behave like, or what many times we address it like “Sapno ka Rajkumar” / “Sapno ki Rani”. Its not the dreams that we see about our would be partner but the effect of these romantic movies that we start imagining our partner to be identical to this or that character, which is not at all good. We know every person is different from the other and different circumstances and experiences are the things that makes up the individual into who they are today. So it would be wrong to expect someone to act in a way you want, or a character of a romantic movie you like. On one hand people keep saying that they want a real person who doesn’t act fake to look perfect and on the other its the same people who fancy about a character in a movie and rejects a real person saying that they are not the person they’re looking for. People imagine to have a movie like relation in real life and if things don’t go that way, they simply want to come out of it. That is actually the effect of romantic movies people see and they don’t even realise that their relation can’t work like the cooked up ones in those ENTIRE WORKS OF FICTION.

TFM: the family man (Indian series)

The family man

The Family Man is an Indian ‘espionage action thriller streaming television series’ on Amazon Prime Video created, directed, and produced by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. who also co-wrote the story and screenplay with Suman Kumar, with dialogue penned by Sumit Arora and Suman Kumar. The series features Manoj Bajpayee as Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class man secretly working as an intelligence officer for the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC), a fictitious branch of the National Investigation Agency. It also stars Priyamani, Sharad Kelkar, Neeraj Madhav, Sharib Hashmi, Dalip Tahil, Sunny Hinduja and Shreya Dhanwanthary. Samantha Akkineni was hired for the second season of the series making her foray into the digital medium.

And to be honest it’s one of the best series I’ve had ever watched. Manoj Bajpayee is one of the finest actor of all the time. His acting gives a example to our new generation actors and he’s the god of acting for those who wants to become a actor.

From his struggle to his success, he implied all those thing he was willing to. And he has many awards and was nominated for best acting award (national award) for Gangs of Wasseypur. Rather than this all the actors/actresses in TFM1 and TFM2 contributes a huge part to make a series a super hit series of all the time. As in,
Manoj Bajpayee
Priyamani
Samantha Akkineni
Sharib Hashmi
Neeraj Madhav
Pawan Chopra
Kishore Kumar G.
Sharad Kelkar
Devadarshini
Gul Panag
Shreya Dhanwanthary
Sundeep Kishan
Sanyukta Timsina
Sunny Hinduja
Abhay Verma
Shahab Ali
Ashlesha Thakur
Vedant Sinha
Aritro Rudraneil Banerjee.

All these actors/actresses had different roles and they had persued that particular Roel very well with pure perfection. And if you ask who is My favourite among these so I’ll obviously say Manoj Bajpayee. But rather than him I love the role and character of Sharib Hashmi. He had done his job very well and the way he acted was truly unconditional.

And one main point It is only and only streaming of Amazon prime. And if you ask me that ‘it’s a boring day’ what should we do then I’ll recommend you this series to watch both season one and two.

The Best TV Episodes

We are living in the Golden era of television. Since the year 2000, television has evolved dramatically. The rise of cable networks resulted in a period of more innovation, quality and quantity, which has since been surpassed by the arrival of streaming services. TV has become the primary source of entertainment for the majority of the population since the introduction of streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, HBO Max and Disney Plus. Previously the thought of a network airing a complete season on a single day was unthinkable. Episodes aired week after week, sometimes back to back, and so on – until streaming services showed their willingness to take a different path. With the knowledge that television is undergoing yet another revolution, and that the medium’s limits and definitions may alter yet again, it seems appropriate to reflect on the past.

With that said, let’s directly jump into the very best chapters of television the medium had to offer.

Note: I’ve considered only one episode per a TV show to make the list more diverse.

The Winds of Winter, Game of Thrones (Season 6, Episode 10)

IMDb Rating: 9.9

Written by: David Benioff, D. B. Weiss

Directed by: Miguel Sapochnik

Air date: June 26, 2016

This is an all-timer. This episode is Game of Thrones at its very best. It offers everything a fan wished for, a shocking yet satisfying end to one of the best seasons of the show.

International Assassin, The Leftovers (Season 2, Episode 8)

IMDb Rating: 9.6

Written by: Damon Lindelof, Nick Cuse

Directed by: Craig Zobel

Air date: November 22, 2015

International Assassin is the most polarizing episode of the most polarizing show, a stress test of an episode that pushes the show’s concept and expands its universe in ways that not everyone will appreciate and that makes it so special and unique.

Chicanery, Better Call Saul (Season 3, Episode 5)

IMDb Rating: 9.7

Written by: Gordon Smith

Directed by: Daniel Sackheim

Air date: May 8, 2017

A standout episode of the show as it stages a bittersweet showdown. This episode marks the climax of a seasons-long power play between Chuck and Jimmy. This episode is a relatively simple installment on a plot level. But it’s the character interactions, as well as the show’s willingness to bring out the worst in these characters and pit them against each other, that have us hooked. This is one of the defining TV episodes you’ll come across on television today.

407 Proxy Authentication Required, Mr. Robot (Season 4, Episode 7)

IMDb Rating: 9.9

Written by and Directed by: Sam Esmail

Air date: November 17, 2019

If there was ever an episode that defined a series, then this is the one. The episode that finally revealed the origin of the titular character. A riveting hour of television, you feel like the characters when you complete the episode, but you embrace every second of it because this is how good television should feel: thrilling, horrifying, and a little bit nauseating.

The Suitcase, Mad Men (Season 4, Episode 7)

IMDb Rating: 9.7

Written by: Matthew Weiner

Directed by: Jennifer Getzinger

Air date: September 5, 2010

The Suitcase says so much with so little, without a visual or narrative trick in sight. And in doing so, it defines a show and sets a high bar for the next decade of television, and most likely the next decade after that. The Suitcase is the one of the best episodes because it tells the show’s story in miniature: flawed, difficult, and damaged characters finding salvation in their job, though not enough to save them from themselves.

Start, The Americans (Season 6, Episode 10)

IMDb Rating: 9.8

Written by: Joe Weisberg, Joel Fields

Directed by: Chris Long

Air date: May 30, 2018

Perhaps the most overlooked episode in the list. The series finale of The Americans is a subdued, sublime, and utterly tragic send-off to one of television’s best shows. It delivered a wondrous wallop that crackled with sadness and urgency. The episode is a fascinating flight full of heartbreaking decisions and unexpected swerves.

If-Then-Else, Person of Interest (Season 4, Episode 11)

IMDb Rating: 9.9

Written by: Denise Thé

Directed by: Chris Fisher

Air date: January 6, 2015

Person of Interest’s never-ending ability to deliver mind-blowing episodes is what makes it one of the best tv shows. And the episode If-Then-Else does exactly the same. Smart, action-filled chapter with a powerfully sad and meaningful conclusion. As the main plot of the show is about the relationship between humans and machine, this episode in particular dig deeper in to that. This episode is about what it means to be a machine, but it’s also about what it means to be human.

Final Grades, The Wire (Season 4, Episode 13)

IMDb Rating: 9.5

Written by: David Simon, Ed Burns

Directed by: Ernest Dickerson

Air date: December 10, 2006

The Wire’s fourth season came to a close with a mega-episode that alternated between periods of crushing despair and sparks of hope and optimism. Watching this episode was like putting down a fantastic book, one that had provided knowledge, excitement, a view into another world, and consistent brilliance with character development throughout the season.

ronny/lily, Barry (Season 2, Episode 5)

IMDb Rating: 9.8

Written by: Alec Berg, Bill Hader, Taofik Kolade

Directed by: Bill Hader

Air date: April 28, 2019

Perhaps the most recent episode on the list. It was released during the same weekend when Game of Thrones most awaited episode The Long Night and Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame came. But somehow this episode of Barry impressed me the most when it comes to action sequences and storytelling. The episode is an absolute knockout it’s suspenseful, surreal, and darkly hilarious.

Pine Barrens, The Sopranos (Season 3, Episode 11)

IMDb Rating: 9.7

Written by: Tim Van Patten, Terence Winter

Directed by: Steve Buscemi

Air date: May 6, 2001

The oldest episode on the list but the one that defined television forever. A distinctly self-contained short story. The episode is a classic example of the show’s unpredictability and surprisingly humorous tone. It’s basically a cross between an anti-buddy comedy and a nightmare; it’s funny, absurd, and horrifying all at the same time.

The View From Halfway Down, BoJack Horseman (Season 6, Episode 15)

IMDb Rating: 9.9

Written by: Alison Tafel

Directed by: Amy Winfrey

Air date: January 31, 2020

The only animated episode in the list. The episode is a depressing perspective on the inevitability of death. Although this is an adult cartoon, one of the things that make it wonderful is that the writers put a lot of effort into crafting strong writing and a great tale that does credit to all of the characters and the result can be seen in this episode.

Ozymandias, Breaking Bad (Season 5, Episode 14)

IMDb Rating: 10

Written by: Moira Walley-Beckett

Directed by: Rian Johnson

Air date: September 15, 2013

Do you ever watch something where you are so emotionally invested by the characters, setting and story that when it’s over, you can’t help but sit and contemplate what you just watched? Exactly felt the same after watching this episode. Ozymandias is perhaps the most gut-wrenching, twisted, horrific, well-planned episode ever made. This episode is Breaking Bad storytelling at its finest. It’s completely flawless. Not surprising that it is the highest-rated episode in the history of television.
