Smart Ways Of Writing With Keyla- The Laptop!

Laptop Cartoon - ClipArt Best

“If people cannot write well, they cannot think well, and if they cannot think well, others will do their thinking for them.”

  • George Orwell

Today’s article features Keyla – The Laptop who shall be explaining The Smart Ways Of Writing. Good Morning Folks! This is Keyla. I am currently a renowned medium for the writing process. I understand that most of the ancient mediums of writing are depressed due to their extinction because of me. I apologize for that, from the core of my heart. However, it’s not our fault if people find writing on us, an easier task! It totally is based on the perspective of people who have regarded us deeply. I also admit that the digital medium involving me, doesn’t make writing a merrier process. Yes! That’s true. But, as I stated, the human perspective is something that gets into the way!

Anyway, since humans are glued to the digital medium and their love for me won’t diminish (is what I think, until some other medium doesn’t turn up ;)), I am here to explain the smart ways of writing easily without burdening yourself! So, I will be explaining that in a step by step approach!

Love The Writing Process!

A simple way is to love the process and admire the lengthy write ups! Writing long stories shouldn’t make you feel sleepy. If that is so, then you must avoid writing, because only a sound person, ecstatic regarding the process, can compose a good story.

Jot Down Those Ideas!

Every time you feel an idea pass through your mind, the sensible thing to do is to jot it down promptly before you lose sight of it! These ideas can prove helpful in composing good content!

Write In A Speech Format!

When you write, ensure that your content is interactive and not merely descriptive. Innovative content is much more interesting, than descriptions with facts! In short, address the readers and make them feel one with your content! Let them feel as if they are enjoying this conversation with you!

Write, When You Feel Like It!

Mood factor plays an important role in the writing process, so write only when you have the proper mood and stable state of mind to make the task interesting!

Write In Bits!

If you have a large amount of content to write, then you are free to work on it, in bits. Don’t try to write it in a single day, as it may stress you out and then disrupt the writing mood! However, if you are a huge writing fan and just can’t wait to read your completed story, and feel that you are well enough to write in a single day, then you are free to do so! The only thing that matters is that your mood remains intact.

Gobble Down Certain Interesting Words Or Facts Mentioned In Other Books!

There is an exception to this rule! You must read a lot here! Only when you read, can you write after all! Try reading all sorts of novels that would contain some interesting ideas which could be highlighted in your book! Don’t worry! Copyright issues aren’t prevalent here! 😉 That is what makes writing an interesting task. The more you read other works, the more you learn. You do not get blamed for copying. Instead, you get admired for learning whenever you read!

Write Frequently!

In order to not feel burdened for writing huge content later, make sure to practice writing frequently. After all, practice makes perfect, doesn’t it.

Imagine Your Content And The Story It Poses!

Try imagining all that you write. This makes it extremely easier to frame your content because you yourself feel lost in the process. So, an important thing to do is, not only make the readers, but also make yourself one with the process!

Thus, Lastly, I would conclude stating that the smartest way of writing is creating your own imaginative world and getting lost in that, visualizing yourself as a part of the story and getting one into that. So, write with love and utmost devotion. Have the power to get into that world you just created through your content!

Yellow Scribe is here to help you with that. Consult them and make your publishing dream come true! Let people be introduced to your creativity!

Thank You For Your Time, Keyla!

3D PRINTING

3D printing, also called additive manufacturing, is often defined as the construction of a three-dimensional object from a CAD model or a digital 3D model. The term “3D printing” is often explained as a spread of processes during which materials are deposited, solidified with computer control to present a three-dimensional object, with more material being added together typically layer by layer.

Looking at current scenarios 3D printing or additive manufacturing has been used widely for manufacturing, medical, industry etc. which facilitate 3D printing to become successful economical technology. The earliest application of 3D printing was on the toolroom end of the manufacturing spectrum.

HOW IT WORKS:

3D printers are available and are a neighborhood of the additive manufacturing family and use familiar methods to a standard inkjet printer- albeit in 3D. It takes a mixture of top-of-the-line software, powder-like materials and precision tools to make a three-dimensional object from scratch.

The various steps include :

3D Modeling Software:Modeling helps printers to form the merchandise come right down to the tiniest detail. The 3D modeling software ensures precision designs is why 3D printing is being hailed as a real and important changer in many industries.

Slicing the Model: Engineers are required to slice the model into layers to assist the printer to make the ultimate product. Slicing software takes scans of every layer of a model and can tell the printer the way to move so as to recreate that layer.

The 3D Printing Process: The printer acts an equivalent as a standard inkjet printer within the 3D printing , where a nozzle moves back-and-forth while dispensing a wax or plastic-like polymer layer-by-layer, expecting that layer to dry, then adding a subsequent level.

There are various types of 3D printing depending on size, shape and also time consumed in making one depends on these factors.

ADVANTAGES :

  1. Fast Design and Production, helps design and print faster also production rate saves time.
  2. Minimises Waste, little wastage compared to traditional methods.
  3. Cost Effective, requires lesser products, machine cost can be saved by outsourcing the project.
  4. Easy To Use, easily accessible by everyone.
  5. Environmental Friendly, Fuel efficient and less wastage.
  6. Flexible Design, helps design and print complex designs.

SCOPE :

In the construction world , 3D printing is  used to create construction components or to print even entire buildings. Construction is well-accustomed to 3D printing as much of the information necessary to create an product will exist as a result of the design process, and the industry is already experienced in computer aided manufacturing.3d printing  is not a new technology, followed since the 1980s. Making a three-dimensional model, or prototype, from a computer made design by adding successive layers of material is now standard practice in many industries, ranging from aerospace and architecture to medicine and high-end manufacturing.

3D printing encompasses many sorts of technologies and materials as 3D printing is getting used in most industries you’ll consider . It’s important to ascertain it as a cluster of diverse industries with a myriad of various applications.
A few examples:
– consumer products (eyewear, footwear, design, furniture)
– industrial products (manufacturing tools, prototypes, functional end-use parts)
– dental products
– prosthetics
– architectural scale models & maquettes
– reconstructing fossils
– replicating ancient artefacts
– reconstructing evidence in forensic pathology
– movie props

Monsoon!

Yeah! Its a season of joy, enjoyment, happiness, and we should enjoy it at the best.

A monsoon is traditionally a seasonal reversing wind accompanied by corresponding changes in precipitation, but is now used to describe seasonal changes in atmospheric circulation and precipitation associated with annual latitudinal oscillation of the Intertropical Convergence Zone between its limits to the north and south of the equator. Usually, the term monsoon is used to refer to the rainy phase of a seasonally changing pattern, although technically there is also a dry phase. The term is sometimes incorrectly[according to whom?] used for locally heavy but short-term rains.

The major monsoon systems of the world consist of the West African and Asia–Australian monsoons. The inclusion of the North American Monsoon and South American monsoon with incomplete wind reversal has been debated.

The term was first used in English in British India and neighbouring countries to refer to the big seasonal winds blowing from the Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea in the southwest bringing heavy rainfall to the area.

So we should definitely enjoy this season!

Choices we made.

Sometime in life we all are any such kind of situations that we are about to give up on the way to the end of results.

We made choices for ourselves; we always try to make the best choice possible among to us. Every choice we make is going to decide our future we have known this, and it is a fact. During the journey in which we are on the way their come’s the situation we face too much of hardship and rough time with which one struggles to do or cope with something, sometimes the rough time which we are in right now will haunt us in future by remembering them, it will be like living those moments again in our life. Who wants such incidence to happen or to repeat themselves? The answer would probably be NO I DO NOT WANT THOSE INCIDENCES TERIFFY ME AGAIN.

We know this from the start itself that in order to achieve this goal we will face many challenges so don’t be afraid to face them go ahead…We say these lines to ourselves many time on our journey.

Key to the lock!

The definition of journey is: – the act of travelling from one place to another, usually on land.

Then what type of journey are we talking about. It is journey to achieve our level of success in our world without taking anybody else’s opinion.

Let us dig into that with one imaginary story: –

“There was a girl name Lucy She was neither very good at academics nor sports. Then unexpectedly she got admission in the most prestigious college abroad, the college was in completely different time zone and well their people were also little different. When she went there she was very happy  that she will be able to achieve what she wanted, she along with some more students from the same university used to share one room, the roommates were not bad but they we different from her like in many ways was not same with them so she faced various problems which get  her to be in anxious, but kept with it within herself and  resulted in various health issues after dealing with them alone for a long period of time. She went to get consulted, which helped her improve not only her mentally but physically. After which she went on to achieve her goals”

What did you get from this story ?

Lucy had choice to  study abroad which she chose she knew these were the seeds for a fruitful fruit(her fruitful future).Lucky knew it will be hard for her to get along with others in another country but then she challenged herself and made her choice.

Lucy struggled there very much (anxiety, physical and mental problems)

Lucy went to get consulted (to help her move forward)

She achieved her dreams by taking small steps!

“Strength and growth come only through continuous effort and struggle.” — Napoleon Hill

By following these step may help you with something.

Keep fighting.

Competitive Programming

“I think everybody in this country should learn how to program a computer, should learn a computer language, because it teaches you how to think.”Steve Jobs

If you are a programmer, you may understand the deep meaning of these words quoted by Steve Jobs, and you may also have this experience even if you turn off the computer, you continue to think about the programming or code you use in it. The project has been written. In programming, you just don’t learn programming, you also learn the “art of thinking“, the method is to break the code into smaller parts, and then use creative, logic-based thinking to solve problems from different angles. Programming is very interesting and it is like brain training. Programming is an intellectual sport. When this sport is practiced by sports programmers on the Internet, it is called competitive programming.

Coding contests or competitions usually require the host to have a series of logical or mathematical questions for the contestants, also called puzzles (ranging from ten to one thousand) problems. Scoring is mainly based on the count of problems solved and the time required to write a successful solution, but other factors (quality of results obtained, execution time, program size, etc.) also do count.

The goal of competitive programming is to write source code for computer programs that can solve specific problems. Most of the problems encountered in the programming Olympics are essentially mathematical or logical problems. Typical problems fall into one of the following categories: combinatorics, number theory, graph theory, algorithm game theory, computational geometry, string analysis, and data structure. Challenges related to deadlines and artificial intelligence are also popular in certain competitions.

These coding contests provides young and talented coders with the opportunity to measure their skills and compare them with other programmers around the world. Some of them are listed as-

1) The ACM-ICPC International Collegiate Programming Contest

2) Google’s Coding Competitions

3) The ICFP Programming Contest

4) BME International 24-hours Programming Contest

5) Microsoft Imagine Cup

6) Facebook Hacker Cup

Guidelines to choose your career-for final year and pre-final year students

” I have no problem with starting from scratch” – Leif Garrett

The age 20-25 is quite confusing age of our lives. Everyone will have an inner voice which is constantly interrogating us a set of questions like , ” What are my interests?” , “Which is the field I can excel on?” , “How can I bring the best out of myself?”. Never be terrified by these questions. These are questions which will make you streamline your career path.

During the pre-final year and final times , we all will start to have a fear of future and will begin to recognize the practical aspects of life. The pressure could be due to college placements, peer discussions and expectations of our families. Never make any of these external factors influence your career choice.

The first step in order to identify the career path which best suits you is to know about your interests and skillsets. Write down three important interests of yours which may or may not relate to the stream of your study. Figure out what are the skill sets you have in those interests which could fetch you a job. In case if you have no skillsets in those fields refer to the career sites and find out what are the skill expectations for those roles.

The second step is to understand the industry. In the initial days of our college, we all would have had fun unaware of a world outside which is developing at a rapid phase . Start learning about what’s happening around you. Recognize the fields which are blooming and categorize those which attract you. List down the skills which are anticipated in those fields.

The third and most important step is to write down all the fields , interests and skillsets you have figured out in steps one and two. Write down your short term and long term goals which align with your interests. Narrow down to 2 fields which allure you and make you move forward towards your long term goals.

“We cannot become what we want to be , by remaining what we are” – Max DePree

Kick start your learning phase by acquiring skills and mastering them which attribute to revamp your profile. Make sure you update your profile regularly on career sites like LinkedIn which provides you the opportunity of networking. Never be petrified by the fear of perfection during the learning phases because,

“Continuous Improvement is better than Delayed Perfection” – Mark Twain.

Why is SQL important? What problem is it solving?

Database administration or data management is incomplete without the SQL. For comfortable use of  SQL as part of your administration or development requires that you understand the basics of SQL, which will take you a long way in your career.

Before we start with the introduction to the SQL itself, and then, understand the important features of SQL Server. It will take you through a demonstration of the internal workings of SQL, starting from SQL standards, evolution, and progresses to creating tables, understanding and defining relationships, writing Transact‑SQL commands, and so on.

You will also understand that SQL is a special-purpose programming language; special-purpose, as in, it is different from the general-purpose programming languages such as C, C++, Java/JavaScript, etc., meaning, it has a very particular purpose: manipulation of datasets. And this manipulation happens using what is known as Relational Calculus.

But isn’t studying SQL alone, restrictive? Turns out, it isn’t. Of course, we can use SQL on any kind of database or data source, but even if we cannot directly use SQL, most query languages of today have some relationship to SQL. In general, once you know SQL, you can effortlessly pick up other query languages too.

Standards are vital because every relational database must build its framework around this framework in order to ensure compatibility. This means that the learning curve is greatly reduced. SQL is ANSI as well as ISO-compliant, along with other standards, which emphasizes the fact that you have to learn the concept only once.

ISRO – A overlook- Part1

Over the past several years, SpaceX has received a lot of well deserved praise and acclamation for their strides and efforts in lowering the cost of rocket launches. The world knows about NASA and SpaceX. But there is another organisation that is not nearly as celebrated is India’s Space Organisation ISRO. For decades, ISRO has slowly but consistently been driving down the cost of mission across the board including orbital missions, lunar missions, and even Martian missions. Here is the story of the space underdog, ISRO.

ISRO was officially founded on August 15,1969, but the organisation’s roots stretch back a few decades. The earliest known roots trace back to Indian Physicist S.K.Mitra in 1920’s. Mitra was most known for his experiments related to Ionosphere soundings. An Ionosphere sounding is a telecommunications technique used to identify the most optional radio frequency in a given area. Apart from Mitra, Sir C.V Raman and Maghnad Saha also completed a variety of space related experiments throughout 1920’s and 1930’s. But, the first major leap forward wouldn’t come till the 1940’s until the physical research laboratory and the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research were founded. These two organisations were founded by scientists Vikram Sarabhai and Homi Bhabha respectively. Each organisation leveraged nearly universities and research laboratories to conduct experiments related to cosmic radiation, upper atmosphere studies, and higher altitude tests. In 1962, Vikram Sarabhai would convince the Prime Minister Nehru to set up the Indian National Committee for Space Research. And soon after, India began experimenting with sounding rockets which eventually led to the formation of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in 1969. Since then, ISRO has developed 5 different launch vehicles with the first being the Satellite Launch Vehicle (SLV). The SLV was a small rocket with a payload capacity of only 40 kgs. Though with the relative simplicity, it took nearly 7 years for ISRO to develop it and unfortunately the first launch in 1979 failed. A faulty valve would end up causing the rocket to crash into the Bay of Bengal in just 317 seconds after launch. ISRO launched another SLV in the next year 1980 and this time, the launch was successful. On July 18,1980, ISRO launched Rohini RS-1 sattilite into its orbit and became the sixth nation to reach orbit. Apart from the July 1980 launch, there were two more launches held in May 1981 and April 1983, orbiting Rohini satellites carrying remote sensing sensors. The third launch was successful, but the satellite was launched in too low of an orbit which caused the satellite to deorbit 9 days after launch and fell back to the earth. The fourth launch took place in 1983, and this mission was successful that ISRO sent an earth observation satellite into the orbit. The successful culmination of the SLV-3 project showed the way to advanced launch vehicle projects such as the Augmented Satellite Launch Vehicle (ASLV), Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) and the Geosynchronous satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV).

As everyone, I am too excited to know about ISRO and their achievements and records. I will learn new and continue this journey in next blog. Thank you. Stay safe!

Change is what.. you need..! : A turning point

Just make you first step….please now for me just for yourself

Change have you ever think of that. Defiantly no one like to leave the comfort but if you want to make some changes in your personality and behavior in a positive way you need to change some of your habits your needs and your addiction

A girl who studied in a typical Hindi medium school used to study English only when she want to sleep.. Yes Yes..!! she was full occupied with her other subject and did not want to learn English.

The same girl do not want to watch TV or do not want to play outside she thought that may effect her study. She is afraid of spending money moreover she do not know how to buy things

The one who do not want to make friend specially boys just her parents was very strict so what is new in this.. many other are also same even thought they faced societal issue as well.

That little girls grows up now reality comes she realized. What if she did not get any job? What if our family run out of money and not be able to give education to sibling, mediation to mother and support for father?

This question.. Yes when you faced reality the very next step is arriving question inside your mind that you do not know how to react or how it will solve.

Then you my dear will change your self.. you will start reading English, now this time not to get sleep rather to get a high profile job as per your education. you will start working on your body its not waste of time rather it will give you physical and mental stability. This time you can able to travel the whole world with and for that you do not need partoner.

you would be able to make decision on what you like what not? what will be good or not? Is it correct or not? this all will be happen when you are ready to change your life.

Will that be easy??

We are living in 21st century and nothing is easy here. Changing your self is the biggest challenge. But it is not impossible You Can Do It If You Really Want To Do.!

Just think in this way. How can you expect anyone else to change for you if you are the only one who can’t change your self. JUST THINK!

How can you pray god to give you highest mark even you do not want to study. As I mentioned Think Think Think !!!

How can you expect that someone should love you if you cant love your self first. Again think..!!

Just want to add do not think in negative. every one comes with a body and sole. It is up to you how you want to use it

Several example are out there which you can prefer

There is no late.. some can be billionaire at age of 18 and some took 60 long yr to be but why comparing our self with other. No one is perfect all are having some issue. Some might be suffering internally some are mentally and other are from physically. So just do not compare you self.

Do not be 18 yr girl, be a smart and hardworking woman. Do not be 18 yr old boy, be a mature and understanding man.

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

“There is nothing that can destroy a woman and her power.”

Women empowerment is explained as accepting women’s thoughts and helping them to take a stand for themselves. This has become a topic of concern in today’s society. But do we care about empowering women? The answer is probably no. We, as a part of our society, give many speeches on this. Do we indeed mean what we say? Do we follow the same with the women around us? Again, the answer will be no. Indian society is likely to appreciate empowerment when it is about others. When it comes to our own family, we start to think about society. The REAL empowerment starts when there is nothing to think about a woman taking a stand for herself.

Women empowerment should be focused on encouraging women to fight for their rights. Whatever a woman does should be done because it is her right and not because she is allowed to do it. No one has to let her do something that she wants. A woman can do whatever she wants without seeking any permission. A man does not ask for a woman’s permission to do something. Then why should a woman get her father’s or husband’s permission? Let me cite an example. We all have men in our family. Have we seen our father or brother asking for permission to do a job? No. But we would have seen our mother or sister seeking permission to take up her job or studies and also would have come across many ‘NO’s.

What is the need for somebody to allow us to do something when we have the right? First, women should understand this point. She must not get impressed by someone’s sympathy. From the ages, a women’s mindset is fixed that her work is to take care of the family, engage in daily chores and take care of children. We convince ourselves to do all these right from the beginning which should not be done. No woman should compromise their career, dreams in the name of family. The traditional mindset should be withdrawn from women’s minds first. She should believe that she can achieve things beyond family. She has her own identity and being one’s daughter or wife is not her true identity. We can expect the change from others, especially, men only if we become the change.

Women empowerment doesn’t mean that women should be given higher priority. Empowerment should work towards an equal status both for men and women. If a noble thing or achievement is done by a woman, we see it in the headlines of newspapers or magazines mentioning them as woman officer, woman pilot, female poet, or female artist. But we don’t identify any male artist, male poet, man officer, or man pilot. This describes how equal society is. Equality in society will be established when there is no particular mention given to either man or woman.

In addition, we must acknowledge that society is changing practically towards equality. We have started addressing the chairman as chairperson, man-made as artificial, and mankind as humanity. A six-year-old girl raising questions on the terms coined in the patriarchal society stands as proof that this is not going to last anymore. Her questions went viral and she was answered by some of the achievers. They explain to her about our old patriarchal society and the influence of patriarchy in language as well. The world needs to change and it is changing. We must agree that this little kid has already reached halfway to create an equal society.

Designation or Profession shouldn’t be linked with genders. It should be generic. Our work towards this would be supporting and standing for all those who are ready to take a stand for themselves. “Equality is the soul of liberty” should not be ignored at any cost.

Force behind success- Father

The contributions and sacrifices made by our fathers in our lives do not need a specific day for celebration. A father, who is our role model and superhero, is that one special man who is a friend, parent, philosopher and guide who always protects us in every phase of our lives.
Father’s Day is celebrated on the third Sunday of June, and this year it will be celebrated in India on 20 June amid the Covid-19 pandemic. This special day is observed to celebrate the importance of fathers and honour the essence of fatherhood.
History :
Father’s Day was first celebrated in the United States when hundreds of men died in a mining mishap on July 5, 1908, in West Virginia, USA. The daughter of a dedicated reverend, Grace Golden, proposed a Sunday service for all the men who lost their lives in the accident.
A few years later, Sonora Smart Dodd suggested the idea of observing Father’s Day in the honour of her father, William Jackson Smart. Dodd’s father, who was a civil war veteran, raised her and her five siblings as a single parent. She started promoting Father’s Day at a national level after she completed her education.
Father’s Day started gaining popularity in the US when President Richard Nixon signed a declaration in the year 1972. And since then, Father’s Day is celebrated every year on the third Sunday of June.
Significance:
Father’s Day is celebrated to recognise the unique role of fathers or father figures in our lives. From supporting their children financially, mentally, emotionally and physically, the pivotal role of fathers in everyone’s life is priceless.
This day is celebrated to acknowledge and appreciate the role of fathers who play a very important role in our families, and in society at large. Children look forward to this day and make their dads feel special with their gestures.
Children celebrate Father’s Day to make their fathers feel special and shower them with gifts, cards and at times, special dinners. Most of them also spend time with their fathers and call them and extend greetings.

All about Milkha Singh

Milkha Singh is a former Indian track and field sprinter who was the first Indian male athlete to win an individual athletics gold medal at a Commonwealth Games. Milkha Singh was also awarded the Padma Shri Award by the President of India in 1959 for his achievements in sports. Fondly called ‘The Flying Sikh’—a title bequeathed to him by the former President of Pakistan, General Ayub Khan—he is highly respected for his sporting achievements. He has made his motherland proud by winning several Gold medals in international sporting events like the Commonwealth Games and Asian Games. He had entered the 400m race at the 1960 Olympic Games as one of the favourites.H e had set an Indian national record for 400m. Milkha Singh’s story is one of hope and inspiration. As a teenager, he witnessed the massacre of his whole family in front of his eyes. Orphaned and heartbroken he worked up his way through life, seeking solace in the running.

He subsequently became Director of Sports in the Punjab Ministry of Education, from which post he had retired by 1998. All of Singh’s medals have been donated to the nation. They were displayed at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi but later moved to a sports museum in Patiala, where a pair of running shoes that he wore in Rome are also displayed. In 2012, he donated the Adidas shoes that he had worn in the 1960 400m final to a charity auction organised by actor Rahul Bose.

Singh and his daughter, Sonia Sanwalka, co-wrote his autobiography, titled The Race of My Life (2013). The book inspired Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, a 2013 biographical film of Singh’s life. Singh sold the movie rights for one rupee but inserted a clause stating that a share of the profits would be given to the Milkha Singh Charitable Trust. The Trust was founded in 2003 with the aim of assisting poor and needy sportspeople.

Early life :
His full name is Abul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam. He was born on 15th October, 1931 in Rameswaram, Madras Presidency, British India which is presently known as Tamil Nadu, India. His father’s name was Jainulabdeen Marakayar who was a boat owner and imam of a local mosque. His mother’s name was Ashiamma. She was a housewife. He was the youngest of four brothers and one sister in his family. Even though his ancestors had numerous properties and were wealthy, they lost most of their fortunes by the 1920s. This is why Kalam was born and grew up during poverty.

Education:
He studied in Schwartz Higher Secondary School. Previously he had average grades but later he was described as a bright and hardworking student who had a strong desire to learn. He went to Saint Joseph’s College, Tiruchirapalli, then affiliated with the University of Madras. He graduated in Physics in 1954. In 1955 he moved to Madras to study Aerospace Engineering in Madras Institute of Technology. The Dean was dissatisfied with his lack of progress in a senior class project and threatened to revoke his scholarship unless the project was finished within the next three days. He met the deadline impressing the Dean who later said to him that he was putting Kalam under stress and was asking him to meet a difficult deadline. He narrowly missed achieving his dream of becoming a higher pilot, as he got ninth position and only eight positions were available in Indian Air force.

Career as a Scientist:
After graduating from Madras Institute of Technology in 1960 he joined the Aeronautical Development Establishment of the Defence Research and Development Organisation. He started his career by designing a small hovercraft but remained unconvinced by his choice of job. He was also a part of the INCOSPAR Committee.
