Will India have SUPERPOWERS like USA?

The world is almost ruled by powerful countries like USA, China, Japan, Russia etc. and its none of the wonder that developed countries are helping as well as exploiting the developing countries. Developing countries like India, Pakistan, Srilanka and many more… are mostly dependent on the developed countries, but the biggest question arises will India be list of the superpower countries by 2050. The answer would be yes, but unfortunately due to pandemic situation that number will rise to 2055-2060 because India faced a major setback due to this and also India build a strong relation with other countries with help of our respected Prime Minister sir. Let us look out which factors are going to help to build a nation with superpowers:

1- Economic growth

Chinese economy is based on foreign investment, while India is growing based on a more local economic sector. So if we look in future i.e. after 30-40 India will overtake as it is very slow process. We know very well that many MNCs have begun to invest tremendously in India and has started to rely on Indian engineers for their next generation products. Companies like GM, Boeing, Motorola and many others have begun to build their Research and Development facilities and Asian headquarters in India. They see more potential on Indian market. If India is able to maintain this steady growth, it can definitely become 2nd largest economy by 2050.

3) Military power

India stands on 4th rank in terms of defense with the budget of 54 billion $ and 13L+ army man. India has a total of 2,102 aircrafts and a naval strength of 295 and is ready to tackle any military emergency. India is gaining new technology and ideas from world and also our DRDO is working very efficient like wise India adopted 5th generation fighter plane from Russia and Defense Drone technology from USA and other technology too from Israel. Therefore if India increases the defense budget in next 3-4 decades, specially in Air force and cyber and New technology than India definitely can handle any worse situation.

3- Diplomacy and international relations

India’s Diplomacy is standing at a good potions no matter still there are many internal disputes but in the eyes of world India is at a better place. India is able to maintain relation with foreign countries in a stable and steady manner which will ultimately help the people of India. In the coming years India will be able to maintain permanent seat in UN Security Council which will be biggest achievement in diplomatic point of view.

4) Population

India has highest number of fresh minds, they are handled correctly with innovative and interesting education system than none of the country can stop India to be listed in top 5 countries. Youth is the biggest asset of India and no other country has this much amount of youth in their population. In the coming years, some of the strong nations of the world will face problem of decrease in populations and this will lead to, a decline in workforce, India will face no such problem.

India’s education system need to be modified a bit and student instead of memorizing theories, they should be taught to learn and understand the concept. The subject related to entrepreneurship should be added at early age so that they get knowledge of business at early age which would help them and ultimately help the nation.

5- Science and Technology

India has greatest potential yet to be showed to the world in the field of science and technology. New and new startups are evolving around us day by day and that will help a lot. Our scientist proved that India can even complete the mission on a budget of bollywood movie. India is also 4th country to land on the moon. India is emerging slowly in the field of software and will create a great impact in the near future.

International Human Rights in Sports

Sports is about achieving excellence, about working individually and collectively as a team  to reach a common goal. The world of sports today is filled with thousands of enthusiastic people amongst whom a few stand out from the rest, but the challenge is to demonstrate how the world of sport can bring these benefits while preventing harms to people at every level. [1]Human rights refer to those rights that are inherent to the person and belong equally to all human beings regardless of their race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. They deal with freedom from fear and want, and call for respect, protection, and fulfilment from duty-bearers. At the international level, human rights are laid down in numerous international treaties and declarations. There are some treaties, agreements and declarations that were signed and ratified by a great number of member countries of the UN, spread around the globe. The collection of such documents is called the Universal System of Human Rights Protection.

Sport is one of the best platforms to promote human rights and inclusion of all. Through sport, people learn values of co-existing with people of  cross gender, nationality, age or even physical condition. It is now the need of the hour to build stronger bridges to advocate for sport as a Human Right – to pledge, to defend and to promote it. Sports is closely connected to many human rights such as right to education, right to culture, right to health and wellbeing as well as the right to political participation. Sport is ought to be practiced without any kind of discrimination, such as race, colour, sex, sexual orientation, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.  Sports can easily inculcate many positive values, such as fairness, teambuilding, equality, discipline, inclusion, perseverance and respect, all of which can be found in the Olympic Charter, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the European Charter for Fundamental Rights.

[2]Despite this, many Human Rights violations occur in mega sporting events (MSE). The protection of various rights and freedoms have been affected during sporting events, an example of which, was the mass evictions of residents from the Rio favelas for the 2016 Olympic games. Other Human Rights violations range from labour rights, to migrants’ rights, children rights, and women rights in relation of Qatar Olympics 2022. Discriminatory policies are also introduced, against, for example, minorities, the freedom of press and the freedom of assembly in the case of the Russian-hosted FIFA World Cup 2018. Moreover, the rights of athletes are never a topic of discussion. There is still a major gap between the will to maximise results, and the dignity and the freedoms of athletes: freedom of movement, freedom of expression, religious freedoms, image rights, labour rights, right to privacy, etc. It is important that the fundamental rights of athletes are not based on a comparison between ‘the athletes’ and the ‘others’, and that their human dignity is protected. Several players across various sports have iconic moves that they perform after achieving a particular objective in the game. These players after a point in time are recognized by their celebratory moves by the common man and these particular celebratory moves are then associated with only that one person performing it. In today’s world of sports, the Ronaldo “SII” celebration is something that is largely associated with the Portuguese winger and nobody else.

Each time the celebration has been seen on television or elsewhere, the one person associated with it is Cristiano Ronaldo.[3] LeBron James is also associated with the “Silencer” celebration which has also been copied and followed by many other people across the sporting universe. Cristian Benteke, the Belgian footballer has gone on to use LeBron’s celebration during games.[4] The intent of protecting the celebrations of these persons is to maintain the originality of creator with the help of Copyright and Trademark to prevent others from taking wrongful advantages of the iconic posture or symbol that the creator of such posture or symbol uses.

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development also points to sport as an important enabler of development and peace. At last December’s third annual Sporting Chance Forum, hosted in Paris at UNESCO, the stories of those who have faced sport-related human rights violations were heard first hand. They included stories of young athletes that experienced sexual abuse perpetrated by coaches or others in positions of authority; those forcibly displaced to make way for the infrastructure; workers building sporting facilities whose labour rights were violated during construction and fans and communities adversely impacted by harsh security and other public authority measures.

Yet despite these and many other attributes, the world of sport doesn’t always produce one’s wanted outcomes. All too often, sport is linked with harmful impacts on people—on athletes and communities, on workers at events or in supply chains, and on fans who cheer for their teams. The famous “You’ll never walk alone” chant that is constantly sung by Liverpool fans at Anfield, had originally been written Oscar Hammerstein and was then adopted by the English club and made the Liverpool Anthem.[5]The same anthem has also been adopted by clubs like Borussia Dortmund and Celtic. The fact that these clubs alter these songs and come up with entirely new compositions with their own artistic abilities, protection under Copyright must be granted. [6]Addressing these and other human rights challenges implies a major and important change within the world of sport itself. Fortunately, there are some positive signs that reforms are beginning to take place. Historic policy commitments to ensure respect for human rights have been made in recent years by some leading sport’s governing bodies (see for example, FIFA, the Commonwealth Games Federation, and UEFA), but many more have yet to acknowledge their responsibility to do no harm. Such commitments are only a first step, though a crucial one. They must lead to a larger effort to inculcate human rights due diligence into every aspect of sporting events, as well as spread rights awareness into regional and country-level activities and actors, and into the culture of sport at large.

To do so requires implementation of human rights standards and legal commitments into principles that can be readily understood by all involved in the sport industry, along with formal  steps for action. In practical terms, as a starting point, that means showing those involved how human rights have been impacted by sporting events or sport activity. Workshops and interactive sessions need to be organised to engage potentially affected groups, including those advocating for a range of fundamental rights such as decent working conditions, privacy rights, the rights of the LGBTQI+ community, persons with disabilities, and journalists, among others. These workshops should aim at generating practical recommendations that will shape how the organizers of a sporting event will seek to prevent and mitigate the risks identified, as well as establish effective grievance mechanisms.

Making long-term progress requires new levels of co-operation that can produce shared learning and collective action by the vast assembling of actors involved in sport. Sports bodies, intergovernmental organisations and representatives of governments, host actors, corporate sponsors, broadcasters, civil society, trade unions, employers and their associations, national human rights institutions, as well as athletes, all have important roles to play. We need institutions to help bring these actors together to generate the power of sport in ways that lead to greater realization of rights in practice. Over a passage of time, all involved in this process of generating power of sport have developed a strong sense of collective purpose. The challenge now moves towards converting the shared purpose and commitment into practical and effective action. We need to act now, as the structures as currently constituted aren’t sufficient. As per the current scenario, existing mechanisms for sport-related harms don’t address the particular needs of children or address risks to those that are without union representation, and don’t ensure protection of athletes with refugee status, among other gaps.

[7]The attempted forcible return of football player Hakeem al-Araibi to Bahrain despite his refugee status in Australia forced FIFA, the International Olympic Committee, human rights activists, governments and millions worldwide seeking to protect the rights of an athlete who is also a human rights defender. After imprisonment for over two months, Hakeem was returned home to Melbourne, thanks to the collective action and impact of the key actors involved who created leverage in public and behind the scenes. Given this and other cases often require urgent action, a key area of focus should be supporting improvement of credible and effective mechanisms to address accountability gaps and help create new structures where needed.

The sport and human rights movement is now actively mobilised. We have trusted spaces for constructive dialogue to address real-time challenges and dilemmas linked to sport. We  also have a growing body of knowledge and expertise that can be deployed to help build the capabilities of all actors involved in sport in order to prevent and remediate harms. Sport, because of global interest has the potential to create economic, social and political changes. From ancient times when the origin of sport were shaped at the foot of Mount Olympus in Greece, humanity is concerned with sport. Today, except from sporting events, there is no other event where representatives of different nations with conflicting interests interact with each other at this level, and this is a sign of the importance of sport in the stressful world today. [8]Firstly, the relationship between sports and human rights is extended, complex and evolving. Sports and human rights have developing interaction with each other as global phenomena. All sports and physical education are human rights. The second aspect, human rights relation with sport to protect the human rights of athletes at Sport arenas.

Today, sport organizations cannot be unrelated to international human rights. The needs for gender equality between male and female athletes, the need to anticipate the protective measures to children and create equal opportunities for disabled athletes are commitments of the sports institutions and agencies. Its third area, the relation of human rights with sport concerns the role of sport in maintaining and promoting human rights. Sport is of global interest and millions or even billions of spectators can serve human rights and transform the world to a better place to live accordingly. Sport can provide the context of a developed society by reducing costs related to health and non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular disease.

In today’s world, the relationship between peace and human rights is undeniable. In this regard sport as a tool at the service of human rights can become a tool for creating and maintaining peace. The domestic and international disputes before the war, in a narrow sense, have brought challenge for humanity. Thus, sport can play a key role in peace building and protecting human rights at international stage.

MS DHONI – a man with a dream

“If the plan doesn’t work, change the plan but never the goal.”

Born in small town of Ranchi,Jharkhand coming from a lower middle class family to becoming a legend in the field of cricket and staying in hearts of billions of people carving his own path of success with gaining the title of captain cool. His journey inspires a lot of people and I am one of them . starting with an accidental adventure in field of cricket ,he has faced all the failures but one thing that remained constant was his determination and the never give up attitude that led him to what he is today. An everyday man who went on to be popularly known as the ‘Captain Cool’ is none other than our very own former Indian Men’s (ODI & T20Is) Cricket Team Captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni or simply known as Dhoni.

His cricket journey started when he was in his school in his football team  and his coach asked to do wicket keeping that’s where he impressed everyone with his wicket keeping skills and secured his position in  commando cricket club for 3 years and selected for Vinoo Mankad Trophy under 16 during 1997-1998. Well his journey to be a part of Indian cricket team wasn’t that easy for him, after playing cricket at district and state level, he worked as a train ticket examiner at Khargpur railway station in West Bengal to financially support his family. But the young man always had a bigger vision and wanted to achieve more , he saw a dream, which many feared to see.

He made his debut in Ranji Trophy for Bihar in year 1999-2000 and played for three years. Seeing his excellent performance in Ranji Trophy, TRDO officer Prakash Poddar was attracted towards his performance and later sent a report to national cricket academy regarding his performance.  Finally his struggle and hardwork payed off and he was selected for India A squad for a tour of Zimbabwe and scored back to back centuries.

ODI CARRER

After delivering good performance in India A team he was selected in ODI squad for Bangladesh tour in 2004-2005  and was also picked for Pakistan series. Though his initial matches were not a great success.

His turning point came with Sri Lanka bilateral ODI series in 2005 where India  had to made 299 runs among which Dhoni made 183 runs finally winning the game for India. Due to his consistent performance in later ODI’s, Dhoni overtook Ricky Ponting and  became number 1 in ICC ODI ranking for batsmen in 2006.

There are many inspiring lessons that the sportsman has taught us about life. He loved the sport and he wanted to chase his passion. He taught us to dream big and not get satisfied with small joys of life. He is a wonderful human, who was always up for absorbing new learning from his peers. He never hesitates to appreciate the outstanding work of others. He never lost hope and put in extra effort to fulfill his dream.

BECOMING A SENSATION AND HIS JOURNEY AS THE INDIAN CAPTAIN

Dhoni was not only known for his cricket but was also very popular for his lengthy wavy hair style. In fact, it had then become a trend in those days that every boy in the country now wanted to adorn the “Dhoni Hairstyle”.

In 2007, he led the team a whopping victory in ICC T-20 World Cup. He continues to inspire the younger generation with his brilliant captaincy, and out of the box thinking.

MS Dhoni is India’s only two-time World Cup winning captain, leading the team to victory on two occasions which involved two different format. He led a young Indian team to the first ever T20 World Cup victory in South Africa in 2007. Dhoni then led India to their second ODI World Cup victory in 2011.

He is arguably one of the best captains in the history of not just Indian cricket but also world cricket. The miracles he has done on the cricket field makes everyone wonder if he really is a human.

His cricket acumen is so accurate that people believe if Dhoni gives someone out on the field then his team starts celebrating without waiting for 3rd umpire. People started referring the DRS  not as Decision Review System but as Dhoni Review System. His lightning fast stumpings are viewers delight. He has taught us that no situation, however bad can be fought through and defeated. The only Indian captain with over 100 wins in ODI’s, the next best captain after Ricky Ponting with 11 consecutive wins in world cup matches.

He is a phenomenal cricketer and a legend, and  because of him I became a cricket lover. I bet no Indian can ever forget the line – “INDIA LIVES THE WORLDCUP ONCE AGAIN AFTER 28 YEARS” right after his six. He served his nation for 15 years. Dhoni is the most successful captain of India who has won two ICC cricket world Cups for the country.

The person behind the stumps, the cricketer who held is calm and takes his team to victory in immense pressure – famous as captain cool. The man who went on to become one of the most agile wicket keeper in modern limited overs in international cricket , right handed batsman , a magnificent  finisher , absolute fighter and the person who have billions of hearts attached

THE MSD NO.7 GAME.

  • Cleary, Dhoni got a special preference for the number as his India shirt also has number 7
  • M.S. Dhoni was born on July 7, 1981. The year 2007 is strikingly significant for such people. No wonder he was won the World T20 Championship that year.
  • The name ‘M.S.Dhoni’ carries 7 characters!
  • India won the final (World T20) when Dhoni was 26 years and 80 days old. The age adds up to 7! (26+80=106). NO.7 will always be in everyone’s heart .

MS Dhoni has been an asset in the Indian cricket team and he has a fan following across the world. When he is in a room full of people, his presence is felt and he is a humble man. He is the man, who never hesitates to improvise. He always improvised his game and never let a failure get to him. This is a true story and it has inspired many! If you have a dream or passion, you should go after it and achieve it. There will be obstacles but life is not easy. Once you go after your dreams, the universe will find a way for you to achieve it.

Demise of Indian Football and Cricket Icon Chuni Goswami

On 30 April 2020 within few hours, two famous Indian personalities who entertained us – one through football and cricket and another one through film passed away.  Since I have already paid my tribute through my publication to Rishi Kapoor so in this article few lines about great footballer, who was one of the architects to take Indian football at the zenith, is presented. He was also a well-known cricketer and popularly known as ‘Chuni’ Goswami. Although his birth name was Subimal Goswami (15 January 1938 – 30 April 2020), but commonly Indians know him as ‘Chuni’ Goswami. As a footballer he played in the forward position as we know goalkeeper, defence and forward are normally three positions played in football and all are having equal importance in the game.  Chuni captained both the Mohun Bagan Football club and the Indian National Team. He was an Olympian, representing India national team at the 1960 Summer Olympics. He also led Indian team to attain gold medal in 1962 Asian Games and in 1964 Indian team was the runners-up at AFC Asian Cup. It is worthy to mention that great football icons P.K. Banerjee, Chuni Goswami and Tulsidas Balaram were part of famous Indian forward line which scored nine out of 11 goals in the Asian Games that fetched gold medal to us. Anyway, it is sad to mention that P.K. Banerjee passed away one month before Goswami’s death.

A Brief History of Cricket Icon Chuni Goswami

Chuni Goswami as footballer joined the Mohun Bagan Junior Team in 1946 at the age of 8 years. He was a part of the junior squad up to 1954 and then graduated to the Mohun Bagan senior team.

According to frontline.thehindu.com, Chuni made his debut in the national side “at the age of 19, when he was selected for India’s tour to the Far East. In 1958, he played in the Tokyo Asian Games, and in 1959, in the Merdeka Tournament”. He was last seen for the national team in 1984 at the age of only 27 years.  He was brilliant cricketer also. In 1971-72, Goswami led Bengal team to the Ranji Trophy (in Ranji cricket, Bengal is mentioned not West Bengal) and reached in the final but lost against Bombay.

Chuni Goswami was awarded with many laurels, inter alia of which are – 1962 Best Striker of Asia Award, 1963 Arjuna award, 1983 Padma Shri and in 2005 Mohun Bagan Ratna. He enthralled spectators through his football skill. Indian football expert and commentator Novy Kapadia wrote in his book “Barefoot to Boots: The Many Lives of Indian Football”, “Goswami belonged to a golden period for the Mariners (a fond nickname for the club given by the fans) in the 1960s, where he was part of a squad that also included the likes of Jarnail Singh and T.A Rahman in defence, centre-forward Ashok Chatterjee and goalkeeper Peter Thangaraj”. But what made Goswami different? As a player he was renowned for his entertaining football. “His superb speed with the ball, excellent trapping and shrewd passing had made him a household name, but it was his dazzling dribbling and body swerves that ultimately set him apart from the other greats of his era,” as mentioned by Kapadia (www.livemint.com).

Chuni Goswami was popular among all sections of people because of his amicable nature. Plethora of condolences was poured after his death. The Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee expressed her condolences; State Sports Minister Arup Biswas visited the hospital and paid his last respect to the departed soul.  The many leading personalities sent condolence messages and few are –    the Indian football icons Sunil Chhetri and Bhaichung, Bhutia, boxer Vijender Singh,   Indian news anchor Rajdeep Sardesai, cine personality Boney Kapoor, cine artiste Rituparna Sengupta and many others. BCCI in their condolence message, mentioned “Subimal ‘Chuni’ Goswami, an all-rounder in the truest sense. He captained the Indian national football team & led to them to gold in the 1962 Asian Games. He later played first-class cricket for Bengal & guided them to the final of Ranji Trophy in 1971-72”

Chuni Goswami is survived by his wife Basanti and son Sudipto. And millions of sports lover will remember him for his splendid performance in football and cricket.

I am as a sportsperson is deeply saddened for his death and pray almighty May His Soul of Rest in Peace

I am alone, and feel the charm of existence in this spot, which was created for the bliss of souls like mine. I am so happy, my dear friend, so absorbed in the exquisite sense of mere tranquil existence, that I neglect my talents.

I should be incapable of drawing a single stroke at the present moment; and yet I feel that I never was a greater artist than now.

When, while the lovely valley teems with vapour around me, and the meridian sun strikes the upper surface of the impenetrable foliage of my trees, and but a few stray gleams steal into the inner sanctuary, I throw myself down among the tall grass by the trickling stream; and, as I lie close to the earth, a thousand unknown plants are noticed by me: when I hear the buzz of the little world among the stalks, and grow familiar with the countless indescribable forms of the insects and flies, then I feel the presence of the Almighty, who formed us in his own image, and the breath of that universal love which bears and sustains us, as it floats around us in an eternity of bliss; and then, my friend, when darkness overspreads my eyes, and heaven and earth seem to dwell in my soul and absorb its power, like the form of a beloved mistress, then I often think with longing, Oh, would I could describe these conceptions, could impress upon paper all that is living so full and warm within me, that it might be the mirror of my soul, as my soul is the mirror of the infinite God!

O my friend — but it is too much for my strength — I sink under the weight of the splendour of these visions! Like Gandalf from the Lord of the Rings, you’ll find plenty of white wizards in this captivating slot game, and these White Wizards are not to be missed, as they’ll be getting you the best possible wins throughout the game.
The playing aesthetic is vivacious, bright and colourful, but still with a simple overall look which looks as though it’s taken straight from a book of shadows. A colourful cartoon style backdrop of starts and wizards hats and other clothing transports you to a world of magic as you play.
Gameplay on this UK slot game
The reels feature traditional playing card symbols which make up the lower values, and of the higher value symbols these consist of the things you’d find in any Wizard’s world, a magic wand, a book of spells – known as a grimoire or book of shadows – a cauldron with some spell liquid inside and a unicorn, could that be the wizard’s loyal trusty companion?
The wizard is a wild, and subs for all other symbols, and the scatter is an adorable blue dragon.
White Wizard slot special features
The special features of White wizard slot are simple but none the less as effective. Which is great, as it does not distract from the game itself.
You get a free spins bonus which is the main special feature – to get this, just get three dragons on your reels and you will be rewarded with 15 free spins.
But what’s more, the fun doesn’t stop there – get more and find four of these and you get a massive total of 20 free spins! And, you guessed it, find 5 and you’ll get 25 free spins.
During the time when the dragon shows up more often you will also see the wizard more often, a massive perk of the game that some others don’t give players during bonus rounds.
This white wizard slot also features a gambling round, where you can win or lose fifty fifty depending on what choice you make, but do bear in mind win and your total is doubled, so gambling is a good choice if you’re feeling lucky.
Verdict
A great game full of fun and surprises that most other slot games don’t offer players. Well worth a go if you’re into all things magic.

incentive and rules were also different. Now gold medal winners get Rs.  20 lakh, the silver medallists are given
Rs.14 lakh and to bronze winner, the amount is Rs. 8 lakh. On the other hand,

Golden Girl PV Sindhu – An Inspiration for Girls to Learn and Lead Life

Pusarla Venkata Sindhu popularly known as PV Sindhu (born on 5 July 1995, Hyderabad) has brought name and fame for the country as she is the first Indian to win the BWF World Championships. Sindhu was in international limelight in 2012 when she was within 20 of the BWF World Ranking in September 2012 at the age of 17. It is pertinent to mention that the BWF World Championships (formerly known as IBF World Championships, also known as the World Badminton Championships) is a badminton tournament sanctioned by Badminton World Federation (BWF).

Her name will be written in the history of Indian badminton by Golden Letter as she is the first Indian to win the World Championships in Badminton. Interestingly, she has won this laurels in August (2019), which is the most auspicious month for Indians as we have got independence in this month as well as winning day (Sunday, 25/8/19) was her mother’s birthday. Both her parents are national level volleyball players. She is also one of the two Indian badminton players to ever win Olympic medal and other one is Saina Nehwal. From 2012 onwards, Sindhu’s sports carrier was in upward trend. Here few of her achievements (out of many) are presented – i) she won Malaysian open title 2013, ii) she reached semi-final in 2014 Commonwealth Games. And in the same year, she created history by becoming the first Indian to win two back-to-back bronze medals in the BWF World Badminton Championships, iii) in October 2015, at Denmark Open, she reached to her maiden final but lost. In the same year in November, P. V. Sindhu won her third successive women’s singles title at the Macau Open Grand Prix Gold, iv) In January 2016, she won the Malaysia Masters Grand Prix Gold women’s singles title, also in the same year at Rio Olympics, Sindhu clinched the silver medal and created history as she was youngest and first female individual to bag an Olympic Silver medal for India, v) now coming to 2017, in the BWF World Championships held in Scotland, she had to settle for silver after losing to Japan’s Okuhara in the finals but she defeated Okuhara in the final of 2017 Korea Open Super Series and became the first Indian to win Korea Open v) in 2018, all England Open, Sindhu made it to the top 4 and in the same year, she clinched silver medal in Asian games.
She was endowed with many many awards inter alia of which are Padma Shri, Arjuna Award, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award, FICCI Breakthrough Sportsperson, NDTV Indian of the Year, the CNN-News18 Indian of the Year (originally CNN-IBN Indian of the Year) etc. But I feel her greatest award is love and affection from the people of India.
Wishing her more and more laurels.
