Growing up in India, like many of you, Sundar Pichai got my first telephone when he was 12. In case it turned out be a rotary phone, so it wasn’t that great for selfies. But he still loved to call my friends, play with it and sometimes take it apart. That telephone cemented my fascination with technology. Sundar Pichai remember in his parents’ house in Chennai, reading about the invention of the transistor at Bell labs. Of course, that initial invention helped found what became referred to as Silicon Valley and out of that came companies like fairchild semiconductor and Intel and every one the computers and software, that we all use today. You can draw an immediate line from that invention to the technology, that powers your Twitter feed or your WeChat messages today.

It is the parents that have to suffer for the rest of their lives in guilt that they could not save their child irrespective of the situation. Success comes from hard-work

We all want success. Every person you see around yourself, be it your mom, your dad, your siblings or friends. Everyone strives for success and would love to have it.

It is one of those things that will never be enough to satisfy a person. We all somewhere want that constant dose of dopamine in life.

Success comes in various forms. It can be in the form of money, fame, love, respect etc. any kind of achievement that one has worked for can be counted as true success. Unfortunately, success doesn’t come easy.

We all know the majority of people who live in this world are unsuccessful. And often we get upset over failing at something. Whether it is a relationship, or a job, or any type of task, failure always makes us upset.

But while being upset about something is natural and understandable, it often makes us ignore the bright sides of it. There is always something to learn from your unsuccessful attempts which we usually forget about and do not pay attention to because we are too contained by the depression that comes with it. But if that lesson is learnt you can not only have a better attempt next time but it also matures you know broadens your knowledge.

Let us look at an ant as an example. An ant is a very persistent insect, it may fall from a wall a hundred times but still doesnt give up. It continues to try to get over it’s obstacles and eventually after many many attempts it gets its win. We should take inspiration from this amazing insect, even after failing numerous times it continues to put effort towards it and never gives up. While us humans are no way near like that, most of us quit after a few unsuccessful attempts and then give excuses.

Success is an old school building. There is no elevator that would get you to the top. In order to succeed in any field. We have to put continuous effort and climb the ladders. Which is always the toughest part as it takes a tremendous amount of courage and determination to keep trying even after a few unsuccessful attempts. Any successful man in the world has worked tremendously hard for it for years and each one of them failed many times as well but the difference is they kept trying.

Here are some of the key points you will need in order to succeed-

1- Be consistent- Brushing your teeth for 1 hr one day would barely make any difference but brushing them for 2 minutes for 30 days will make a way more significant difference.

2- Learn from your mistakes- Your mistakes are your stepping stones to success, do not stop at one. Learn from them and keep trying.

3- Hard-Work- Do not be lazy about your goals. If you want to achieve them, the only way is working hard. Success does not land in your balcony ,you have to go and get it

Turn these three tips into habits and eventually, slowly but surely, you will achieve your goals.

“Stop Worrying and Start Living” – Dale Carnegie – Book review

Dale Carnegie’s how to stop worrying and start living so the first big idea is ask yourself what’s the worst thing that can happen I remember the first year in college constantly worrying about my grades what was I getting to do if I got a B+ rather than an a well surely my life would be over and that i would never amount to anything in life like that was seriously the thought process browsing my 17 year old head now fast-forward five years.

How to Stop Worrying & Start Living
Carnegie tells a story of this guy in World War 2 who’s stuck in a submarine and basically knows that he’ll be dying in the next few hours and he sits there thinking about all the stuff he used to worry about at home and how absurd it was and makes a promise to never waste his life again like that if he survives now that might be hard to resonate with so let me give you a more contemporary example people are having their heads chopped off every single day every single day the only reason it’s not you is because you are born in a certain place. They weren’t that’s it now going back to my friend I told him look here’s what I want you to do every day you will start your morning by watching somebody’s head being chopped off and then you’ll go about the rest of the day.
He started freaking out about how he can’t do that and how he doesn’t like blood and whatever now here’s the thing. I know that’s really crass and morbid but I don’t care if you don’t worry about stuff great you don’t have to watch anything but if you’re worried about stupid all the time you have a disease so you either treat yourself or you never ask about how you can stop worrying again ever. Here’s what I will guarantee you if you start your day by watching someone else have their head chopped off nothing and I mean absolutely nothing could possibly happen to you for the rest of the day that you could get pissed off about and not feel like a complete retard yes when you’ve seen someone’s head chopped off you will have a weird feeling inside you as soon as you start to complain about how you deserve to be paid more at your job or what you’re going to do now since you bought a B+ rather than an A or how your washer is broken you’ll realize that.

If the guy had been given the chance to live and wear that same dirty shirt for the rest of his life without ever being able to wash it he would have been the happiest man alive realize the absurdity of it all the third big idea staying busy now I don’t mean the average busy person actually those are the people that worry the foremost the guy who works 12-hour days then comes home and watches Fox all night worrying about whether some guy can marry another guy or about all the foreigners who will come and take his job you know because he’s the only one entitled to that job I’m not talking about that kind of busy here’s how I like to stay busy read a book that I like go to the gym with my girlfriend play around on the piano and compose cook amazing food work on a project. I’m passionate about now here’s what happens when you do that your brain can’t think of two things at one time it just doesn’t have that capability you can try right now if you want you can’t think of your broken washing machine and at the same time think of how much you love playing soccer it’s not how your brain works so the best way to get rid of the negative thoughts in your head is to actually start putting positive thoughts in there get busy with what you love and your brain simply won’t even have the power to stress . Finally, a question that really resonated with me here’s what you’re going to do in your life you’re going to work and worry your entire life so you can gather a bunch of stuff like your house and all the stupid.

If you’re lucky after 50 years of all that worry and stress all of your stuff could be worth 1,000,000 dollars here’s the question would you sell your legs for a million dollars let me ask you this would you sell your legs for a billion dollars I wouldn’t and you probably wouldn’t either would you sell your arms for another billion dollars no there you go you have already got something that you simply value at two billion dollars actually hopefully more but you do not need to be all Zen you could be a greedy capitalist like me and understand this now here’s what you’re going to do you’re going to ignore and not utilize something worth two billion dollars because you’re too busy worrying and stressing about the things that might amount to 1 million dollars at the end of your life oh and you’ll be considered really lucky if that happens by the way all right.

So, I don’t know if you’re seeing how crazy that is but that’s kind of like having a huge mansion a personal jet every single car you ever wished for and not using and enjoying those things because you’re too worried about at some point having the ability to shop for a Corolla that’s crazy and sad you have already got everything that you value at billions and billions of dollars so stop ignoring wasting and treating it like for hours and days so you can worry and bitch about how your phone bill went up from a hundred dollars to a hundred and twenty.

Spread the Flowers of Happiness

“Never become someone’s happiness, instead add happiness into their lives”. You must be a teenager, an adult or maybe a 70 year oldie, but do you really know what happiness means, what things gives you the spark of happiness or what all things make the butterflies dance in your stomach. We human beings tend to find happiness at every step of our lives, be it our crush, our pets, cooking or be it any other thing, we always think of being happy at every stage of our lives. Now the thing which I am talking about is different, it’s not about being happy it’s about spreading happiness, making the others happy and contibuting something to the society. Money is a materialistic and perishable which will not stay with us forever and which can only make us happy for a short period of time, but happiness is immortal, we will remember the moments of happiness till the last breath of our lives and it will always add a spark in us. In the same way if we follow the ” give and take” rule, contribute happiness to the society, we can master the art of living, we can live with a happy heart and hence look at the society with a different perspective.

If you are busy or confused about how to spread happiness follow these steps to enlighten your lives with different colours.

1.Be happy inorder to make someone happy: First step starts with changing yourself because if we will change ourselves, we will be able to change the others. Be happy, find happiness in small things, have patience in every situation and do not lose hope. This will give you the power to fight with every obstacle and will help you to overcome it.

2.Smile: The best mantra to be happy and to spread happiness. Don’t wait to be happy, think of the moments that make you smile, watch shows that will make you happy and just turn your rough day into a happy happy day.

3.Appreciate others: If your wife makes tasteless food with extra salt, don’t scold her or taunt her, she had put in extra efforts and gave her precious time just to make food for you, appreciate her, infact make another dish for her and spend a lovely happy time. This will not only bring a smile on her face but will also show a sign that you love her and care for her.

4.Be a good listener: There are endless problems going on in everyone’s family these days but what can we do is become a good listener and listen to their problems patiently, guide them, give them a solution or else just tell them that their problems will end soon, you just have to be happy and never lose hope in the situation of crisis.

5.Be a hero for the others: Wish everyone with a smiley face and turn their dark sad days into happy days. This will help you to relieve their pain and bring a sigh of relief in their lives.

6.Feed the stray animals or help the poor: Lat but not the least, the most important part of being happy is by feeding others, is by never letting them sleep with empty stomach and always helping them as a saviour.

As you know that these are the days are of pain and suffering where people are surrounded with endless problems, depression, anxiety and other things and in this time we as a human being can help them by sharing their burden, by always telling them that no matter what happens we are like the pillars of happiness who will never leave you alone. Follow this for once and you will see the difference.

CHEESE- introduction and production

Cheese is a most commonly used dairy product which is a product derived from milk. Cheese is available in the market in various textures, forms and flavors. It is basically the product of coagulation of milk protein, casein. Cheese is said to be a concentrated form of two major products i.e. Milk protein (casein) and Milk fat. Combination of these two results in the production of cheese which is very much liked by everyone nowadays.
The other ingredients of cheese besides milk are a particular, selective strain of a bacterium, a milk clotting agent and some amount of sodium chloride (to give a salty flavor).
Various types of cheese are present in the market which is basically due to the variation in its basic constituents. No new ingredient is actually added in forming the new type of cheese. Just a basic variation in the already present ingredients can help. Sometimes there is a need to add new additional ingredients which give rise to completely different variety of cheese. It has also been observed and noted that the change in any environmental conditions surrounding the manufacture and subsequent ripening of cheese also affects its manufacturing and thus type.
BASIC CHEESE MANUFACTURING PROCESS –
The basic cheese manufacturing process consists of 3 main stages – Curdling, Curd processing and ripening. All different varieties of cheese can be manufactured at different levels of manufacturing means some cheese can be made in the first step while some needs all the 3 steps to completely occur.

  1. CURDLING –
It is the first and the most important step in the production of cheese. In this step, there is a separation of milk into solid curds and liquid whey. Usually, this step is achieved by the addition of acidifying (souring) agent in milk and adding the enzyme RENNET. The acidification can also be achieved by directly adding some acidic agent such as vinegar. But most commonly for this acidification purpose, a starter bacteria is used which converts milk sugars into lactic acid and without even the addition of any acidic substance, the acidification is achieved. The common starter bacteria which are used are from Lactococcus, Lactobacillus, or Streptococcus families. Swiss cheese requires the addition of Propionibacter Sherman, which is used to produce Carbon dioxide bubbles during ageing resulting in the hole like structure of Swiss cheese.
Some fresh cheeses are curdled only the acidification process, but most cheeses require the addition of enzyme, rennet which sets the cheese as strong and rubbery. It also allows the curdling step at low acidity.
  2. CURD PROCESSING
Till this step, the cheese has now set into a very moist gel. Some soft types of cheeses are essentially complete in the first step. They are just drained, salted and packaged. But from other cheeses, which are not been prepared in the single step, the curd is cut into small cubes which allows the remaining water to drain off from the individual pieces of curd itself.
Some harder cheeses are then heated at a normal temperature which deliberately forces out the whey from the cut curds. This step changes the taste and flavor of the cheese. Apart from providing a salty flavor to cheese, salting has some other benefits also like it prevents cheese from spoiling, it drains out moisture and also it is used in firming he cheese’s texture in an interaction with its proteins. Different cheeses have different processes of getting texture.
  3. RIPENING
Most of the cheeses are already prepared in the last step, some of which are not prepared yet are of harder varieties and more rubbery in texture which is completely attained in this step. In this step, the cheeses are left to rest under controlled conditions. This step is also known as AGING. This step may take several years to complete. As a cheese ages, the microbes and the enzymes secreted by them transform its texture and also intensify the flavor. This transformation is more of a result of the breakdown of casein proteins and milk fat into a complex mixture of amino acids, amines and fatty acids.

Motivational Factors that Will Encourage Student to Study Well

Climbing a mountain does not happen at once. More than 40% of high school students are chronically disengaged from their educational institutions as reported by The National Research Council.

Most probably, these children don’t realize the importance of learning, especially education . Taking under consideration it’s impossible to continue the tutorial trip without passing the initial stage, school, many modern kids fail to succeed at the first stages. It is difficult to revive later.

Visualize Yourself Taking Action
Numerous researches discovered that visualization features a strong, positive impact on the training process. Even in sports, it makes a difference to the performance of athletes. Students can be compared to those athletes as well, so it might be a good idea to visualize things for them too.

A teacher should dedicate longer to attending theatres, museums, and cinemas to let the scholars imagine particular scenarios. Vivid life examples will help to know the topic better.

As for the scholar , it’s necessary to pretend you’re already taking certain actions (e.g., writing the last page of a search paper, collecting study materials, getting enrolled in the dream college, etc.) This technique assists in accomplishing things on your list.

Remember: Even Smallest Actions Add up
Many times in our life, we can get bogged down being sick and tired of things happening around us.

Working on 10,000-word research or composition could be one among the explanations for facing stress. No teacher assigns such large assignments on the submission eve. It means every student features a few weeks or maybe months to organize the paper. Thus, if you come up with 5-10 sentences per day, you’ll manage to end the project before the deadline. Postponing it to the last minute will not help.

Right, every action adds up to accomplishing a big , long-term goal.

The best thing a student can do trying to make a strong dissertation is handling 500 words a day . If you finish earlier, it is still better than being late. Late papers result in F in 90% cases.

Writing 500 words a day will cause you to complete the project in only 20 days, and it’s but one month! Even if you propose to go away weekends aside, which will do. Remember: worry disappears in the face of action.

Keep Telling Yourself It Will Not Last Forever
Knowing that at some point the “nightmare” will end, and you’ll obtain far more freedom may be a perfect motivation. Who knows: perhaps, at some point you’ll become a manager in some cool firm, which can cause you to tell people what to try to to , and not the other way around .

Focusing and Keeping Things in Mind
Start re-reading the study materials 3 times from today. An old and really wise teacher shared this hint with us a while ago. We managed to find out some historical episodes by memory and even improved the knowledge of some languages.

You should not go into every detail – the photographic memory will help you to scan the letters and store them somewhere deep inside your head. And yes – ask questions whenever you revise the fabric and find out things that sound weird to you.

Break down the Readings Classes like World’s History or English Literature demand students to read long swathes of content. It would be easier to review by dividing the whole material into chunks of one page (approximately 500 words). Put down at least 5 questions related to the discussed topic and ask your tutor or experts to answer.

A better idea to organize the things would be involving the flash cards in the educational process. The sooner you get the answers, the sooner you will master the topic.

Cooperate in Teams
Get together with your peers to speed up the learning process. Brainstorm in groups to gather sources and find replies to the essential questions. It will also help to improve communication skills, analysis, and critical thinking.

It is impossible to write down huge volumes during one evening. Besides, the teachers shouldn’t overwhelm students with multiple homework assignments, so it’s okay to urge professional help if your teacher breaks the rule.

Nepotism in Bollywood.

Nepotism in bollywood has reached another level of toxicity. Ever since the demise of the bollywood star sushant singh rajput there is anger among the fans and audience as to why did sushant singh rajput kill himself and the fingers have been ultimately raised towards the industry on why on the first place was the star in depression which was the major cause of his death. It was reported that sushant singh rajput was not invited to any of the big parties and was ultimately ignored by the bollywood industry. One of sushant singh rajput’s friend wrote on instagram describing the star saying that he hated fake friends, phone calls and small talk. He didnt need a campus, he had his own kingdom. She also added that his friend was a fighter and made his own place in the industry. He was an outsider and never cared about being an insider as he had life beyond films. She was left in sorrow as she added that her friend was a fighter. Sushant singh rajput told that he used to be back ground dancer and it shows how much the person had struggled.

The focus has shifted to the topic that how talented actors are made to struggle in the industry where as the starkids are being launched just because of nepotism. The fingers are mainly being raised on the director karan johar who was called as the flag bearer of nepotism by kangana ranaut on his own show of coffee with karan. Karan has launched some of the star kids like alia bhatt and varun dhawan. Lets see what some of the star kids think of nepotism.

1- Alia bhatt

As some of the star kids admit there’s nepotism, some deny it. Alia Bhatt, daughter of famous film director Mahesh Bhatt, once said she feels like punching people who talk about nepotism. Having made her debut with Karan Johar’s Student of The Year in 2012, Alia has established herself as an accomplished actress.

“I want to punch all those people who say that star kids have it easy because it makes no sense. The way the world is today, either you have it or you don’t.”

2- Tiger shroff

Tiger Shroff, son of popular actor Jackie Shroff and known for his dance moves and action stunts, told GQ Magazine revealed he would have never made it to acting, if he had to go through an audition. Sajid Nadiadwala happened to ‘find’ him.

“Had there been one, I wouldn’t have got it anyway.”

3- Sara Ali khan

Sara Ali Khan, daughter of Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan, has acknowledged that nepotism exists in Bollywood. However, she believes that one can stay in the business only if they work hard. This is what she had to say on nepotism to India Today.

“I definitely believe that knowing people in the industry does help. That’s not a fact that I can run away from. I’ve often admitted to the fact that the biggest advantage of nepotism is the fact that we have easy access to people. I can call up Karan Johar without doing any film. I can go to Rohit Shetty’s office. So these are privileges I’m well aware of.”

4 – Ananya pandey

Ananya Pandey, daughter of actor Chunky Pandey, debuted with Karan Johar’s Student of The Year 2 and has defended nepotism on several occasions. She was badly trolled as well.

When people hate on me for nepotism, I’m not going to shy away that I’m Chunky Pandey’s daughter. My Dad has worked really hard and he’s still working. My Dad never did a Dharma film, my Dad never went on Koffee with Karan. It isn’t as easy people say it is. Everyone has their own journey.”

The movie Om shanti Om which starred the famous Bollywood King khan Sharukh khan had unknowingly shown the product of nepotism as when Shahrukh khan had tried to act with the same set of skills when he was born in a poor family he failed. But with the same set of skills when the star was reborn as a star kid he was launched easily.

YOGURT- a fermented milk product

Yogurt is a basic fermented milk product that usually contains the basic bacterial starter cultures of Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophillus.
Although the composition of different types of yogurts changes but there is some fixed composition of fats present in them. It is important to note that all yogurts must contain at least 8.25% of solid which is not fat. The fat composition changes with the type of yogurt like full fat yogurt must contain not less than 3.25% of milk fat whereas low fat yogurt must not contain more than 2% milk fat. Also there is a category of non fat yogurt where the fat composition is even less than 0.5%.
The yogurt is basically a mixture of milk and cream which is then fermented by using a culture of Lactic acid producing bacteria. The types of milk which can be used are whole, reduced-fat, low-fat or non-fat depending on which the type of yogurt is decided. The lactic acid produced by the starter culture bacteria is basically responsible for lowering the pH of the yogurt making it acidic and tart. This finally causes the milk protein to thicken. These bacteria ferment the milk which results in the production of yogurt leads to partial digestion of the milk making it more easily digestible. In addition, these bacteria also act as a beneficial microorganisms for the human body as they act as oral-antibiotic therapy and helps in eliminating the pathogenic-bacteria from the gut and replenishing the non-pathogenic bacteria.

Ingredients of yogurt
Milk
Cream
Sweeteners (e.g. sugar, honey, aspartame, etc)
Flavorings (e.g. vanilla, coffee, etc)
Other ingredients (e.g. fruits, preserves, stabilizers such as gelatin)

Types of yogurt –

  1. Set yogurt – This type of yogurt has a jelly-like structure and texture and is incubated and cooled in a final package.
  2. Stirred yogurt – This type is less firm than set yogurt. It is incubated in a tank and final coagulum is broken by stirring before cooling.
  3. Drinking yogurt – It also has coagulum broken before cooling though very little reformation of coagulum will occur.
  4. Frozen yogurt – This type of yogurt is incubated in the same way the stirred yogurt is incubated. It has an ice-cream like texture.
  5. Flavored yogurt – In this type of yogurt, flavors are added just before yogurt is poured into pots and the sugar content present in this type of yogurt is about 50%.

General processing of yogurt

  1. Adjusting milk composition and blending all the ingredients
  2. Pasteurization of milk (at 85 degrees celcius for 85 minutes)
  3. Homogenization of milk (2000-2500psi)
  4. Cooling of milk to 42 degree celcius
  5. Inoculation with bacterial starter cultures into the cooled milk
  6. pH reduction by waiting for sometime
  7. Again cooling to 7 degree celcius
  8. Addition of fruits and flavors
  9. Packaging of prepared yogurt.

Health benefits of yogurt:
• Yogurt is comparably easier to digest than milk.
• It is rich in variety of vitamins.
• It is a rich source of protein.
• As it is source of protein, it may help in losing weight and gain muscles.
• It acts as a booster for immune system
• It is also important and useful for digestive system. It destroys the pathogenic microorganisms from the gut.
• It is good for bones especially for kids and elderly
• It may also be useful in lowering the blood pressure.

URBAN LIFE PERILS

Whenever we think about life in a metro or living in an urban area, we realise that we have everything. All that comfort, luxuries that contribute to a healthful lifestyle; opportunities, infrastructure, restaurants, big hotels, malls, hospitals and life represents progress. However, every coin has two sides, the opposite side of the concrete jungle is less than desirable. We have advanced cars but a lot of traffic and pollution; huge buildings but less open space, money and facilities but never satisfying desires, education and opportunities and more stress and depression in life. We have our McDonalds and Pizza Hut with them we have obesity, diabetes, cholesterol issues too. People work over 10 hours a day and have no time for themselves or their family. These problems are a result of an occupational hazard in cities as people are stuck in a never-ending rat-race.

In the advanced setup of an urban area, life is being run by technology, and we are all slaves to it. Our WhatsApp, Facebook, Skype has consumed most of our time and thoughts, and while we are virtually closer, we are physically farther than ever before. People are victims of impatience and lack of tolerance, and so confront emotional issues. A proper healthy diet and lack of exercise are standard characteristics of urban lifestyle. Life in a metro offers economic efficiency and a better lifestyle, but what is wealth without health?

The glamour, neon-lit nights, glitz of urban life appeals to us no doubt, but if we want the pleasure, we must take it with the pain. Everyone from a school going child to a worker to businessman is under performance pressure. We have created it for others and ourselves too. Our desires are bringing heftier bills, costs and expenses that sometimes leave us with stress. These stresses lead to diseases, and we look for gym, spas, health courses, yoga classes, and we burn more cash for the illnesses that we created for ourselves. There is less green cover in urban life and how much time do we spend with the left nature, the one we have? We have also developed a culture of isolation. We spend much time on television and on laptops. We keep ourselves distant from people around us because we love spending time with these electronics than we do with people. We isolate ourselves.

Every afternoon, evening and night, we take a fresh breeze of pollution because there is not much fresh air left. What do come comes in the morning and our late-night work, associations and morning affairs do not give us time to enjoy that either. There was a time in the 1990s and early 2000 when kids could move about one ground in an urban city and play cricket, badminton, or anything and now we don’t have space, and when they play this in colony parks, the older people send them away. There was a time when a Rs 2 Kismi bar appeared to be a delight and now the time has changed, areas are more urbanised than ever, and a bar of Cadbury Dairy Milk does not satisfy an appetite. Even in an urban setting, there was a time when few had TV and people used to collect at this person’s place. Now since everyone has everything, nobody needs humans anymore.

Life in an urban city is materially incomparable; it is just great. We are part of a privileged generation which gets to live in this setting. However, we must learn the values of humans, our environment, and we must make the other side of this coin better because we are responsible for giving a beautiful urban life for generations to come.

It’s all good until you are Breathing.

The meaning of “LIFE” is incomplete without worries. We try really hard to get out of a situation where we don’t feel comfortable at all. The more we try, the more anxious we appear. This does not mean, you should not try, but what you should be more concerned about is the consequences. Every human on the globe is somehow worried about some of the other aspects. Worries may depend from person to person and of course the financial condition. People from below the poverty line are starving, while some people are worried about what dish they will get for dinner. Some are giving pain to themselves by cutting wrists, while some don’t even have hands. Some are attempting to suicide just due to stress, whereas some eagerly want to survive but are hospitalized or coping with the illness. Some were relieved after passing in semesters exams while a girl lost her scholarship. It’s necessary to admit and analyze the worries. The point is everything is smooth until you are living. Everyone will notice your existence, once you stop existing. There ain’t any massive topic more than your life. We can actually train our brains to think slightly differently. Taking stress, being worried, will only result in forehead layers and it won’t affect the root or the cause of the trouble.

Being Practical and Sensible!

While traveling on a local delayed train, the passengers usually come up with a discussion speaking about the time and arrival of the different trains or making perceptions about the actual delay. We just assume things, make perception. Ya, it’s true what else you could have done sitting inside, what is the result of such discussion. If we have the will to improve then why don’t we do something productive and contribute? The point is at some point I think it’s necessary to be more logical.

Psychological tricks.

  • Developing a realistic understanding of control- Analyze the situation whether it can be controlled or not. This means what’s within your control and what’s not. If you think it’s controllable then make sure you believe in it too.
  • Schedule duration for worry- People usually visit therapy to avoid worrying. But they want it done to be real quick. Issues like this don’t have a pill or some magic tricks that will let this go right away.

This may sound funny but it actually helps. We can not schedule time like just 15 mins to worry throughout the whole day, but we can train our brain. Make sure the scheduled time isn’t before going to bed otherwise you won’t get a nap thinking about the worries.

  • Becoming mentally stable- There are many factors that we can not control like how someone should behave, how someone should feel for you, and much more. That’s the bitter truth. Being mentally strong and reaching greater peaks is a characteristic of a healthy mind. When you end bothering about things you can’t control, you’ll have more energy and vitality to assign to the things you do have management over.

It’s okay not to be okay !

We are all here in this pandemic, most of us are staying at homes. Keeping ourselves away from others for theirs as well as our well being. But staying so long at home results in mental illness as well.

We go around and start living in new places, sometimes may be due to work or maybe any other reason. Being in a place with completely new people brings difficulties and lessons. There are many observations and analysis you make about people. Some people might have stuck in the place of their work. Staying out means you grow and become a better version of yourself and explore more. Your life becomes quick and fast. You try new things and make memories. But sometimes you just feel that things are not going well. It’s not just about being away from home but it can happen whether you are with your parents or with family things can make you upset.

Breaking up with people can make you sad, failure in any field you work can make you upset at the end of a month when you are broke and don’t have a single penny to do buy what you want can make you sad.

Materialistically, emotionally, physically, atmospherically things can get against you and can make you sad. You might not find things going well and you want to isolate yourself from this entire world, you would think that things are not at their best pace, and you are not worth anything.

Accept that you are sad!!

There are times when you feel happy about various things. There are times when small surprises can make you happy and you feel blessed for what is happening around. There are days when you just wake up feeling so fresh about things and you love the day for no reason because you woke up like this. You laugh and sing inside your head all day long and smile.

And then there are days when you don’t want yourself to be bothered by many people and lay inside your bed for no reason. You feel fine physically but mentally you don’t feel much fresh and happy.

•It’s okay if you don’t know

Sometimes you know the reason sometimes you just don’t. It’s okay to feel this way. It’s totally fine to feel upset about things. Every time you don’t need to have that smile on your face. It’s your body that accepts that you are sad. Moreover, accept that you can be sad. It’s okay to be sad. It’s normal to feel dejected and not to feel good for yourself. Accept that things went wrong, accept that you failed and you need to work hard. Days have nights and nights have days. Time heals everything. Don’t resist it. Live it and accept it.

•Once you accept it!

You conquer half of the battle just by accepting the fact that you are not happy and you need a break. Don’t just isolate yourself from this world. Don’t resist people and their presence. Think of things you didn’t do because of your work or you just forgot what you used to do. Do them. Get back to work that’s all you need to do. When you are happy, you celebrate but you never leave your work. The same is the case when you are sad. When you are sad just don’t stop working. Start working more. Make yourself busy. Make things go as they were and don’t leave your daily routine. Things will fall into their places give it some time. Have patience and enjoy the phase of your life. Its okay things will become good.

•Don’t confuse it with depression!

Don’t confuse things with depression. Things might go wrong. But depression is a very large term. Being sad should not be misled with being depressed. Depression is medically proved diseases which can only be assured if taken the proper test and with doctor’s concern. Depression is a disorder which affects a person’s thoughts, behavior, tendencies, feeling, and sense of well-being. Depression is more likely a mental illness and it should not be taken lightly.

How to be assured?

Let us compare this with having dengue, until and unless your doctor assures that you are suffering from it you just don’t consider that you re affected with it. Similarly, when you are not assured properly with what you are suffering from then you should not consider being in depression. It is a medical statement that should be used when checked properly. Just because you are sad is not necessary that you are depressed. Most of the people in the society and our surrounding have this misconception of being in depression is very common. But this is not true. You must never think like these rather consult a doctor if in doubt.

Best measures to overcome depression.

Sleep. Take proper sleep. Go to bed early and wake up early. Sleep for at most 6 hours daily. Proper sleep is a part of a healthy life and a better mood. This gives new energy to the body and freshens up the mind with new thoughts. It helps in stimulating our immune system as well as our emotional balance.

Connect to nature and feel the beauty of it, admire it, and listen to what your body tells you. Find a park nearby and go for a walk. Keeping in mind that you need to have proper social distancing. It can be a morning walk or maybe an evening walk, totally depends on you. But try some quality time alone.

Listen to music that fills your heart with joy. Things will go well. Listen to your favorite music.

Laugh and make people laugh. Laughing is good exercise. It regulates blood circulation, this results in the growth of oxygen in the blood which will make you feel good. You will feel good as your body starts feeling good. Accept, it is life and you need to enjoy every bit and admire it whether it is dark or sunshine. The worth of good times can only be felt by bad ones. God is great. He has plans. And he does things for a good reason.

Start doing yoga. It helps to maintain focus. You will get most of your answers while doing it. It helps to think correctly and maintains positivity in one’s life.

Connect with your old friends. Remember old times when you all used to laugh around but then don’t make yourself sad by too much remembering those times, joking!!

Tell someone that you are sad. Tell them everything. Talk about your feelings and clear your mind. Let things come out. Talking to your loved ones bring a solution to your problem. Maybe they can bring new opportunities.

If failed consider it as an attempt towards success. Get back to life and work you are the star of your life.

Start writing or reading. This will help you to express without the fear of being judged by someone and you can be yourself.

And before you finish reading this just remember

LIFE IS GOOD, NO MATTER HOW HARD THINGS HIT YOU, AND TIME WILL TAKE CARE OF IT AND THINGS WILL GO WELL.

Don’t be too hard on yourself. Try at least some of the measures to live and feel better. It’s your life, love yourself

Pride Goes Before Destruction

“Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall.”

“For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

This leaves you with an understanding that humility is a virtue; pride is not. Humility comes when people are secure while pride comes when they are insecure. Humility is your strength whereas pride is your weakness.

pride

More often than not the line between pride and humility is blurred. While trying to keep it in check, you get either too arrogant or too humble when the time comes. Your thoughts become conflicting while figuring out whether to be proud or humble in a certain situation and you almost always end up doing the opposite of what was intended. It seems like a never-ending maze without any particular destination.

So the question that arises now is how do you distinguish when to show what emotion and in what quantity? This can be achieved by knowing the answer to these two simple questions.

What is the difference between true pride and false pride? What is the difference between true humility and false humility?

True pride is when you acknowledge your identity and your actions without the burning need for approval from the outside sources. False pride is claiming that you are more than you believe you are and that you know more than you need to know. In this case, a person will feel empty and inadequate from inside and need approval for every tiny detail of his life from others. Now outside approval is not necessarily a bad thing but when you feel like your self-worth depends on it, know that you are in deep trouble. Another thing associated with false pride is a sense of arrogance. True pride is knowing you are better than the other person at a certain task. This is not somehow affecting your performance or hindering your progress. False pride is getting the other person to acknowledge the fact that he is behind you in that task. Often while doing this, a person loses sight of the long-term goal with his need to feel superior to others.

True humility is when you acknowledge your identity and your actions without the burning need for approval from the outside sources. False humility is claiming that you are less than you believe you are and that you can do less than you believe you can. A person with false humility is driven with a need to get everyone to accept that he is too humble as he feels himself to be inferior to them. This could be the case when he thinks being even a little proud is bad for him or when he wants to shadow his arrogance by overcompensating for it. A truly humble person will not be affected by what others think of his actions.

What this brings us to is that true pride and true humility are one and the same thing. We need to balance out these emotions in our lives, all the while working towards our goal and not caring about unnecessary opinions.

How Do I Motivate Myself to Stay Motivated?

Making a decision to achieve success is not enough. Many do so, but they are doing not back their decision with action.

It is so easy and pleasant to daydream, watch programs on TV about celebrities and follow them on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. This might be sweet, but it will not make you successful.

To achieve success you need to act. You need to do things. You need to follow through with your decisions, even if it is difficult and inconvenient and you need leave your comfort zone.

You need to motivate yourself constantly, until motivation become a habit.

Decisions and plans need to be backed by strong desire and strong ambition, steady motivation, and perseverance. You have to keep your goal constantly in your mind, and avoid negative thoughts and doubts about your ability to achieve your goal. To do so, you need a constant supply of motivation.
We read about successful and rich people and want to be like them. A weak desire is not enough. It must be burning desire that is not stopped by obstacles and by failures.

Almost every successful person experienced failure and rejection, but they found the inner strength to rise above them and continue trying.

Many try to reach far, but only the ones who do not give up win.

What do you choose, to be on the ranks of those who:

Only daydream.
Try, fail, and quit.
Go all the way, despite obstacles, fears and failures.
It is natural to be at times frustrated, exhausted, or discouraged. Sometimes, plans do not work out as expected. At other times, we feel tired and lack energy. Yet, you can awaken renewed motivation.

Here are few actions that can help you motivate yourself:

  1. If you have a certain goal that you want to achieve, you need to remind yourself often, about the importance of your goal and how much you want it accomplished.
  2. Think often, what proportion your goal means to you. Think of details, visualize it, and feel as if it is already accomplished.
  3. Repeat your decision to achieve your goal, every day, several times a day.
  4. Always try to find ways to replenish our motivation and enthusiasm.

One of the way to do so, is to do small acts that get you closer to your goal. Sometimes, it is difficult to awaken enthusiasm, especially when the goal looks too big and far away. In this case, do a few minor actions that are easy to do, and which get you closer to achieving it. This will keep the zest and enthusiasm alive.

  1. Think of the benefits of achieving your goal, and how your life will be after achieving it.
  2. Read about people who have achieved success, and let their stories inspire you. Be careful of negative thoughts that might rise up, telling you that you cannot do what they did. Reject these thoughts, no matter how many time they return.
  3. Read inspiring quotes by people who achieved success. Every quote is like a tiny sparkle of wisdom and inspiration. You can many quotes, here, at the quotes directory.
  4. When frustrated or discouraged, exercise your body, take a walk or go the gym. This will fill you with renewed energy and strength.
  5. Surround yourself with positive and happy people. A positive mental attitude is contagious, and so are feelings of happiness. Of course, if you are too negative, there might be inner resistance at first, but you should not let negativity win.
