TYPES OF 3D PRINTING

3D PRINTING

3D printing is the process of producing a 3D object by the successive addition of layers one above the other. It is also called additive manufacturing. To know more about 3D printing, check out my article on 3D printing. There are seven different types and technologies involved in 3D printing.

TYPES OF 3D PRINTING

  1. Sintering

Sintering is a technology where the material to be used for 3D printing is heated but not to the melting point. Metal powders are used for selective laser sintering whereas thermoplastic powders are used for direct laser metal sintering. Laser is used for fusing the layers of the final object. Each layer is formed and the laser traces the parts formed and fuses the next layer on the top until the complete object is made.

2. Melting Methods

The melting methods include

  • Power bed fusion – Uses a thermal source such as laser to melt the materials. The layers are fused and consolidated to form the object. It combines sintering and melting processes.
  • Electron beam melting – Uses a high-power electron beam that can generate heat to melt the material in the vacuum. It ensures no residue and a clean environment.
  • Direct energy deposition – Uses electric arcs or beams to melt the substrate material. It is used to add parts to the existing object.

3. Binder Jetting

Binder jetting is a method where the powdered material is deposited on the bed and adhesive is added to bind the particles to form one layer of the object. Sand, metals, and ceramics are the most commonly used materials. The process is repeated until the complete object is formed.

4. Fused Deposition Modeling

In this, the thermoplastic filament is heated to its melting point and shaped layer-by-layer to form a solid object. It is a cost-effective method where the material softens and sets in the shape and then becomes ready to add the next layer. It is also called material extrusion.

5. Material Jetting

It is similar to inkjet printing where the liquid material is jetted from the nozzle and a layer of the object is formed. After the layer solidifies, the next layer is added on the top. The layers are cured using UV rays for a smooth finish. It is the most expensive method in 3D printing.

6. Sheet Lamination

This process is made by superimposing the layers one above the other and then joining them using ultrasound for metals or adhesive for cardboards and plastic. Once the layers are combined, it is cut and refined to get the desired shape. This method is not widely used as the other methods. Ultrasonic Additive Manufacturing (UAM) and Laminated Object Manufacturing (LOM) are the two sub-types in this method.

7. VAT polymerization

It uses the method of photopolymerization where liquids are turned into solids by exposing UV light to them. It is one of the most commonly used 3D printing methods that include

  • Stereolithography – Stereolithography uses photopolymerization technique where a single point laser or UV beam is used to cure and solidify the object.
  • Digital light processing – It also creates objects from liquids like resin where the image of each layer is flashed onto the surface.

THE INFLUENCE OF GENDER ROLES ON HEALTH SECTOR INCLUDING REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS

                                                                          (Photo: Singularity Hub)

Men form one-third of a typical medical school’s population; Rest of the seats are all occupied by women. The pay gap in the healthcare sector is 25% higher than any other sector. Most women agree to work at low wages because of the financial crises they face. Gender inequality is leading to a shortage of healthcare workers in the sector. Women in India face “extensive gender discrimination” in access to healthcare. Gender inequality is leading to a shortage of healthcare workers in the sector because obviously only one-third of the seats were taken by men.

Under the National Health Mission, the government has launched several schemes. The most important program launched by the government is Rashtriya Arogya Nidhi which provides financial assistance to the patients that are below poverty line and are suffering from life-threatening diseases.  Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana is a government-run health insurance program for the Indian poor. It aims to provide health insurance coverage to the unrecognized sector workers belonging to the below poverty line.  National AIDS Control Organization was set up so that every person living with HIV has access to quality care and is treated with dignity.  Anganwadi Workers and the ASHA workers are the grassroots level functionaries under the umbrella ICDS Scheme and the National Health Mission respectively.  Both these functionaries being closely connected with the rural and urban poor families, play a pivotal role in addressing their nutrition and health related problems/issues.

How the Government has failed them ?

·        Do not have regular salaries, partly because their work is supposed to be voluntary and part-time.

·        Even though the Code on Social Security, 2020 aims to include formal and informal sectors under a social safety net, it excludes several categories of workers, including ASHA and Anganwadi workers. The Code on Wages, too, has left this constituency out of its coverage, depriving employees of a fixed minimum wage.

·        As per Modi government’s definition, Anganwadi and ASHA workers are not ‘workers’ but only ‘volunteers’, who do not receive any ‘wage’ but only an ‘honorarium’! So the principle of minimum wage would not apply to these scheme workers.”

Also a gender issue

·  Limited space for career progression is linked to low institutional recognition, demotivation, and curtailed opportunities for growth. ASHAs face sexual harassment by other health workers and community members, linked to their mobility and public profile. ASHAs have worked to further women’s interests, particularly in Chhattisgarh state where Mitanins(the name for ASHAs there) have mobilized protests against alcoholism, supported women’s collectives and taken action against gender based violence. ASHAs have begun taking action to mobilize their peers to reduce gender based violence. ASHAs have reported an increased sense of empowerment and personal growth, in part through their belief in the social value of their work.

Gender as a social determinant of health

  •     The social determinants of health (SDH) are the non-medical factors that influence health outcomes. They are the conditions in which people are born, grow, work, live, and age, and the wider set of forces and systems shaping the conditions of daily life. These forces and systems include economic policies and systems, development agendas, social norms, social policies and political systems.
  •          The SDH have an important influence on health inequities – the unfair and avoidable differences in health status seen within and between countries. In countries at all levels of income, health and illness follow a social gradient: the lower the socioeconomic position, the worse the health.
  •        The following list provides examples of the social determinants of health, which can influence health equity in positive and negative ways:

              1.Income and social protection

              2. Education

              3.Unemployment and Job security

  •      Research shows that the social determinants can be more important than health care or lifestyle choices in influencing health. For example, numerous studies suggest that SDH account for between 30-55% of health outcomes. In addition, estimates show that the contribution of sectors outside health to population health outcomes exceeds the contribution from the health sector.
  •     Addressing SDH appropriately is fundamental for improving health and reducing longstanding inequities in health, which requires action by all sectors and civil .
  •      Social determinants of health are conditions in the environments in which people are born, live, learn, work, play, worship, and age that affect a wide range of health, functioning, and quality-of-life outcomes and risks. Conditions (e.g., social, economic, and physical) in these various environments and settings (e.g., school, church, workplace, and neighborhood) have been referred to as “place.”
  •      In addition to the more material attributes of “place, ” the patterns of social engagement and sense of security and well-being are also affected by where people live. Resources that enhance quality of life can have a significant influence on population health outcomes. Examples of these resources include safe and affordable housing, access to education, public safety, availability of healthy foods, local emergency/health services and, environments free of life-threatening toxins.
     Reproductive rights in India
Reproductive Rights are rights of individual to decide freely and responsibly the number, spacing and timing of children. It is individual’s right to decide whether to reproduce and have reproductive health. The Supreme Court of India and several state high courts have recognized the importance of reproductive rights and have observed that the denial of reproductive rights is violation of women’s fundamental and human rights.
Courts have been at the forefront of expanding, protecting, and promoting reproductive rights. court through its various judgements from time to time has promoted and protected the reproductive rights of women. for instance, Puttaswamy judgment, Suchita Srivastava V. Chandigarh Administration, Navtej Singh Johar V. UOI.

Role of socio-physical environment in health care
Social determinants of health are the conditions in the environment where people sustain, i.e. they born, live, learn etc., which affects the health, functioning and quality of life outcomes and risks. Health starts from our localities, our homes, schools, communities where it is also examined by our access to social and economic opportunities. So, social determinants of health are designed to identity ways to create social and physical environment that promote good health.

Poverty – The massive trap

  • Almost half the world- over 3 billion people live on less than $2.5 a day
  • More than 80 % of humanity lives on less than $10 a day.
  • Around 27-28 percent of all children in developing countries are estimated to be underweight.
  • According to UNICEF 22000 children die each day due to poverty.
  • Infectious diseases continue to blight the lives of the poor across the world.

and we can pile up many such pathetic situations faced by the folks all over the world by getting trapped in poverty. Poverty is a state in which a person or a community  lacks the financial resources( like the income level of people will be very low to meet the daily human needs) and essentials to lead a minimum standard of living. What could be more disadvantaging of a factor than ruining people’s life ? This also contributes as a loophole in the Indian economy. Development of a country has a lot to deal with the effect of poverty. It is interrelated to many problems of underdevelopment. Both the rural and the urban communities tend to face this issue but they can be different. In rural areas people may not have much access to education, health and many such factors but people are exposed to a healthier and natural environment whereas in urban places people are provided with adequate education and health but many of the problems caused by poverty are made worse by things like overcrowding, rising expenses, pollution, unhygienic conditions etc. There may be some serious economic decline due to poverty. Reduces productivity and economic output by about 1.3 % of GDP. Raises the costs of crime by 1.3% of GDP. Raises health expenditures and reduces the value of health by 1.2 %. This can also make the developing countries to hang back from emerging into a developed country.

Impact of poverty in the environment

In addition to the effects on economic development of a country, Poverty also has an adverse impact on the environment leading to pollution, such a lifestyle leads to unnecessary depletion of resources. It encompasses a combination of factors. The first reason is people hit by poverty create an unhealthy lifestyle around them because most of the houses of such people are located in the slum areas. The houses would be devoid of a proper drainage system and sewage disposal, lack of sanitation and would let all the effluents and filthy water on the road. Such waters would be flowing rapidly in between houses, which to a drastic level will pollute the environment.

Every house may not hold the service of individual toilets and there would be a common one among them, and that would increase the risks of infectious diseases because there would be lack of proper maintenance. People over there use flex banners for house roofing and have them as a sleeping mat but the fact is flex banners are made of poly vinyl chloride( they are made of plastics which do not degrade biologically and it causes a serious threat to the environment as it is not bio degradable. It may have serious effects on the health and can even cause cancer and infertility problems. There are high chances of polluting the water resources due to lack of knowledge and poor water management. Humans who are lesser educated live shorter lives than who are educated more, such intangible gaps are a huge loss for people and the country.

What could be the promising measures to alleviate poverty?

  • Many people are pushed into such a state due to the lack of employment and education opportunities so it would be an important measure to generate such opportunities for the poor and to raise their productivity is the speedy development of infrastructure.
  • Further for the mitigation of poverty growth of non farm employment in the rural areas holds a special importance. Non farm employment is created in marketing, transportation, handicrafts, dairying and forestry, food processing and other agricultural products.
  • Educating a girl child is very prominent for the society. Educated girls can grow into skilled workers and get well paying jobs. Working women can earn and support the families and lead to sustainable development.
  • The public distribution system should be strengthened to remove poverty. Poor section should get food grains at subsidized rates and in adequate quantity.
  • Even a common man are not able to afford things these days due to the constant escalation of prices and just imagine the plight of the impoverished. Stability in prices helps to remove poverty. If the prices increases constantly the poor becomes poorer. So the Government should render the best to keep the prices under control.
  • Development in agriculture can aid the eradication of poverty. Rapid rate of growth of agriculture production will help to remove urban as well as rural poverty. Agriculture should be mechanized and modernized.

IS BEING AN INTROVERT AWFUL ?

Above all else, let me clear out that one ought not get befuddled between the words “introvert” and “being shy”. An outgoing/ extrovert person can likewise feel timid here and there and that doesn’t imply that he/she is an introvert. An Introvert is a tranquil individual that doesn’t prefer to talk definitely and likes to remain quiet about their contemplations for the most part. They are somewhat individual that returns home just to unwind and have the opportunity to think. However, that doesn’t imply that a friendly individual can’t be a contemplative/introvert person. Similarly as they partake in the calm opportunity to get themselves, they’re probably a contemplative person somewhat. Being a contemplative person is regularly viewed as frail. They aren’t exactly on par with the social butterflies, who simply appear to float through life.

OPINION: Introverts still make great leaders – The Lancer Feed

However, that is false, there isn’t anything amiss with being a introvert. The primary issue is with society, which doesn’t see it similarly. Society has instructed us that being an introvert or thoughtful person is the most exceedingly terrible thing you can be and that everybody should need to be outgoing.

The Perks Of Being An Introvert | Writers Write

They are informed that being active is acceptable and being modest and calm is terrible. They are advised in schools to lift hands, take an interest in a class or we lose marks. For introverts, those are a portion of the exceptionally hard principles to accomplish. Insights say that half of Indian populace is comprised of introverts. So society is saying that 675 Million individuals need to change what their identity is to be acknowledged, to be effective and to be content. I’m additionally told this thing since youth that I should change myself and become a outgoing individual. Indeed, presently likewise my companions, educators and direct relations bother me as a bashful individual and they request that I go along with them in their discussion which I don’t need. Furthermore, some of the time it’s truly irritating.

How to Know If and Why You're an Extreme Introvert | SocialPro

Continuously recollect inside this enormous gathering of self observers are individuals like Emma Watson, Michael Jordan, Albert Einstein, Elton John, Audrey Hepburn thus a lot additional moving individuals. Being an Introvert has not prevented any of them from accomplishing their objectives or being cheerful. Pioneers like Abraham Lincoln, Rosa Parks and Mahatma Gandhi. Every inconceivable pioneer and all are introverts. Being a thoughtful/introvert person has no impact on how glad you or fruitful you will be the length of you see it in the correct manner. In the event that you consider yourself to be a thoughtful person and think its the most exceedingly awful thing on the planet, you are never going to be really content with yourself. In any case, in the event that you acknowledge yourself as a introvert and you’re cheerful, there isn’t anything in your method of you accomplishing your objectives.

Introverted Leadership
INTROVERT LEADERS

So in conclusion there is noting wrong in being an introvert. I am an introvert myself and I don’t feel like to change myself for the society and so should you. As long as you are happy others opinion doesn’t matter.

Also, in case you are an extrovert and you see an individual sitting at the side of your working environment simply contemplate what incredible thoughts he/she is coming up with.

IMPORTANCE OF CHILDHOOD FRIENDS

Without a doubt, one of the greatest gifts in the universe is the friendship of children. No matter how old we are, playing times with friends can take us back to a time when life was perfect and fun. It is easy to assume that such moments are a global and proven child experience, however, sadly it is not. Children raised in orphanages often miss out on the joys of contact with fellow orphans because such experiences are not available to them in an orphanage. Today is a great day to think about why friendships are so important to children. For children, friendship is an important part of their mental, physical, and social development. Children need opportunities to play together to form friendships. Through friendships, children learn to communicate with others in social situations. They also improve their physical health by competing with their peers in sports and by pushing the limits of their physical abilities. Friendship during childhood is an important part of a child’s emotional development and promotes good mental health. Through friendship and playfulness, toddlers and young children learn to interpret social media and learn to communicate with others. Children are naturally inclined to think of them and their needs. Through childhood friendships, children learn to understand how others feel and how their actions can affect others. Friendship teaches children empathy which is an important life skill that helps them understand why a person feels a certain emotion. Children’s friendships built into a noisy playground create a sense of security for children. They are able to form strong bonds with their peers, as well as with their caregivers and teachers. This has the added benefit of improving their learning skills and creating better opportunities for academic success. The benefits of childhood friendship extend to adulthood. Adults who have built strong relationships from childhood will have great success in their personal and professional lives. The benefits of childhood friendship are undeniable. Play is the child’s first chance to build a relationship. By creating an environment in which children can form friendships with their peers, we are investing in their long-term success.

Review of Old Man and The Sea Book

Book Name : Old Man and The Sea

Author Name : Ernest Hemingway

Year of Publication : 1952

We are going to look at a book called The Old Man and the Sea, a short story written in 1952 by the famous American writer Ernest Hemingway. Ernest Hemingway’s other books, A Farewell to the arms and For whom the Bell Tolls are all his best books. This is a short story. This is the story of an oldest fisherman near Cuba. He received the prestigious Nobel Prize for Literature for this short story. This story is a very simple story.

The name of the oldest fisherman in Cuba is Santiago. Although Santiago is old he goes alone in his boat and catches fish. He has been returning to his hut with bare hands for almost 84 days now without getting any fish. He is ridiculed and teased by other fishermen for being unlucky. On the 85th day he goes in his small boat to the deepest sea in Cuba and lures the fish. He goes a long way. At noon a giant marlin is caught in the bait. The old man Santiago is stranded at sea for two days, along with the bait and the boat, on the bait of Marlin’s.

Santiago suffers a terrible injury. On the third day Santiago used all his strength to stab the giant fish with his spear and tie it to the side of his boat. He leaves happy to go ashore. That attracts sharks to the rot of blood coming out of Marlin’s body. Santiago fights hard with sharks. The sharks, however, leave only Marlin’s head and bones. Exhausted, Santiago leaves the boat at shore, thinking he is an unlucky man, and goes to sleep in a hut. Fishermen who came ashore the next morning measured the length of that marlin bone in Santiago’s boat. Its length is almost over 18 feet. Surprised everyone apologizes to Santiago and everyone leaves to fish with him.

This story is a story book of 100 pages. This story is very simple to read and intriguing. But the things we need to learn from this story are important. If we read a book then that book should be useful to us in some way.

Let me tell you three things I learned from reading this book.

1. The first thing to do is travel. Travel long distances. Traveling can teach us many things. Some journeys will show us the path to progress. Now in this story, Santiago went on a long journey on the 85th day and caught that huge fish.

2. The second thing is to practice fighting alone. You may have experienced many struggles in life‌. There will be many more struggles to be faced. Only when we fight alone will it give us the greatest confidence and courage. Importantly do not expect anyone to help.

3. Third is the training to take on the attitude of success and achievement while undergoing emotional states. Do not expect the benefit. Do your duty to the best of your ability and energy. Santiago tie the fish to his boat using his full strength. The shark eats the fish and leaves only its head and bones when it thinks it has paid off. On the surface it was a failure for the old man. But the value of the old man rises only after the other fishermen see the fish after it comes ashore. All those who mocked him apologize to Santiago. Praise him. This is why even if Santiago had come back with the whole fish other fishermen would have said that Santiago might have gotten the fish with some luck. But his respect has risen because he worked hard and brought that fish.

The Real Black Zodiac

The Black Zodiac is the dark counterpart of the Western Astrological Zodiac. Both of which originated from the Babylonian Zodiac. Through centuries of repeated reinterpretation and adaptation by numerous cultures including Greek, Roman, and Hindu, the original Zodiac was filtered to represent only the good side of one’s personality. This long history of revision eventually resulted into the modern Zodiac that became the pillar of Western Astrology.

As the name denotes, the Black Zodiac represents the evil side of the human creature. These demons are one’s inherent will and capacity to ultimately cause harm to oneself and others. This evil, however, should not be feared. Like good, it can be harnessed and turned into something useful.

Each of the Black Zodiac embodies the morbid traits that are as unique as each person. It is important to know, face, and nurture one’s demons in order to manipulate it for personal benefit.

The Tyrant: March 21 – April 19 (Aries)

You are greed in human form. You want the world and you will take it. The inability to feel contentment keeps you motivated. You can find happiness through the suffering of others. People are merely tools for you to use, abuse and discard.(if you ask me it sounds like fun to me but hey to each his own)

The Fallen Demon: April 20- May 20 (Taurus)

You are the Fallen Demon. Your past is a ghost that follows you everywhere. You have made mistakes and you live with the repercussions. People have wronged you and you will never forget. Others may see you as a broken man and they may be right. They may look down on you because you were defeated but you’ve been to hell and you will never go back. You will redeem yourself no matter what it takes.(hell yeah! Just a bit of glue and just like new and ready for more big homie)

The Basilisk: May 21 – June 20 (Gemini)

The Basilisk commands fear. Your stare is deadly but your bite is deadlier. You are built to harm and you know how to torment others. In the right situation, you can be very dangerous. All you need is provocation. Those who know your true nature regard you with equal fear and respect. Those who do not will find out in the worst of ways.(ummm…. ok! cool! Remaind me not to piss in you cereal )

The Serpent: June 21 – July 22 (Cancer)

The serpent is the symbol of wisdom and deceit. You are both cunning and clever. People may regard you as low, wretched and maybe even repulsive but you know how to use these to your advantage. Trust is a weakness that you can exploit outstandingly. Your virtues are insidious and your ways are elegant.(sound like my lawyer!)

The War Maiden: July 23 – August 22 (Leo)

The War Maiden is a paradox. You appreciate beauty and anticipate decay.  This conflicting nature of yours may be regarded as puzzling and ultimately disturbing by others, thus very few can see the beauty of your ways. Seeing through comforting lies enables you to embrace the hardships of reality. You stand in the thin line between the evil and the benign. (we could be best friends)

The Maelstrom: August 23 – September 22 (Virgo)

You are the Maelstrom. Like the wrath of god, you are most dangerous to the ones that you love the most. You may project a caring and compassionate image but you have the tendency to be possessive. What’s yours is yours alone; better destroyed by your hands than taken by others. You dwell on jealousy and you savor the fury that comes with it.(lets just be friends)

The Ravenous: September 23 – October 22 (Libra)

You are the Ravenous. Sanity is hanging by a thread. You’re inner demons are hidden away and they are aching to break free. This life of order and conformity to petty norms disgusts you. You long for that sweet day when you’ll be free to cause damage, pain and suffering to that special list of people that you have at the back of your head.

The Tempest: November 22 – December 21 (Sagittarius)

You are the tempest. Free and carefree. Nothing is more important than your desires. You’re pursuit of pleasure and contentment may bring suffering to others but that is not your problem is it? Those who stand in your way better hold their ground, for you will not hesitate to destroy them. Make no mistake, you are not hateful. You just don’t care at all.(am i on you way i can move no need to destroy me now)

The Leviathan: December 22 – January 19 (Capricorn)

You are the leviathan. A monstrosity in a dark abyss. The great potential that you possess is locked away for good reason but the mere thought of it is enough to strike terror, even to yourself. You fear your own demons because you know very well what they are capable of. But you are neither weak nor a coward. You’re struggle to gain control is a victory in itself.(dont fight them make friends with them)

The Beast: January 20 – February 18 (Aquarius)

Dwell in the dark long enough and you shall become darkness itself. The beast knows and accepts the evils inside him. You can point this evil in any direction yet you would rather point it inwards than set it loose on the people you care about. You are the master of your demons. You consume fury, pain and despair like a bitter drug.

The Sword: February 19 – March 20 (Pisces)

The sword is a symbol of glory. Admired by the weak and coveted by the daring. Yet you remain true to your real purpose. You are designed to hurt after all. The cut is merely the beginning, followed by the rot of the injury then a shameful scar. You are a painful reminder to those who have failed to wield you. The sight of you is enough to torment. And they can’t help but to look can they?

The drawings are not the black zodiac sorry but couldn’t find how they look like but i did find the next best thing those drawings you see ware made

REASONS OF LESS MEDALS FOR INDIA AT TOKYO GAMES AND WHAT TO DO

The Tokyo Olympics were to be held last year, but due to the ongoing pandemic, they were postponed. They are being held now and over 60 countries are participating in the same.

At the time this article is being written, India ranks 48 with China on top. While a decent performance is being shown by the Indian athletes, the rank is not very appreciable.

What could be the reason for this? Is it that the players are not well prepared or they have not been trained in a way to compete with top-level global players?

Observing the performance of the athletes, there is no doubt that they have worked hard for the games and they are giving their best.

The reason for ranks such low traces back to times when not just these athletes, but we all are kids or rather students. Remember how our parents (not all parents though) advised us to stop playing and study rather? In India, people are crazy about marks and prefer neglecting their child’s passion and talents just to rote learn some topics and write them down in the exams and secure rank 1.

Many children, who could be potent sportspersons, who possess the skills required for a particular sport and are willing to achieve heights, give up their dreams just for the sake of their parents.

The fact that there are people who are not able to afford money for pieces of equipment and coaching cannot be denied. But this brings us to the second point, which is the lack of government resources in the field of sports. There have been instances when aspirants had to train in areas not-so-perfect for the sport due to a lack of infrastructural development. How can you expect sportspersons to perform their best with such degraded infrastructural development and equipment? An instance of this is from the movie Dangal when the girls had to practice at their rooftop because of the lack of fund pool and corruption.

Another point is the promotion of sports in schools. While some schools lay focus on sports, many do not. It does need much thought about the number of sports periods we used to have in school. While each one of us waited eagerly for that 30-35 minute period, as exams approached, a time when physical exercise is important to keep the stress at bay, teachers of other subjects used to take that period to complete the syllabus they should have done a long time back.

Over the years, sports have developed as an important factor to measure the growth of a country. Sportsperson needs encouragement and before that proper training, pieces of equipment and guidance.

It is high time that we start encouraging children to take part in sports and boost their morale to perform in the field they are best suited for.

Parents need to understand that there exist career options except for engineers, doctors, and lawyers. If people are encouraged for sports since childhood, there is no stopping us from getting a bag full of gold medals in the Olympics or any other tournament. After all, we are Indians!

SUPERSTITIONS IN INDIA…

Superstitions lead people towards a kind of darkness, it takes people to wrong intensions. In the list of Indian evils, this superstitions is also a part. Superstitions were actually created and introduced by humans, especially some group of humans created these for  their daily survival and livelihood. Superstitions include many things. Luckily in our Indian constitution, some of them were abolished or removed like Untouchability. Here I am going to discuss some of them which I know and I’m going to relate them with some examples that I heard and I experienced. So, let’s start.

SUPERSTIONS AND EXAMPLES:

1. Firstly, I want to discuss about Amavasya. It is said that during Amavasya we should not start any new program or work. Now I’m going to relate with an example of My personal experience, It was said not to take me from my grandma’s home along with my mom when I was a child as it was Amavasya, as women spent some days after giving birth to child I and My mom were there for some days. But My father is against to all these things and he wantedly brought me and my mom from there. And the same thing he did was he has joined me in school for the first time on the day of Amavasya itself, but you know what, till now nothing bad happened to me and my family and I am in the protection of My God. So, it is proven wrong.

2.Let me share another one, When girls are on periods they are not allowed to pray God and go near God, that too in some communities and religions. Now an example relating to it, A girl went to a temple of Goddess Kali I suppose, and that statue is having blood in her mouth, and this girl asked her mother, mother it is said that girls who are on periods, they should not go to Temple and God, but why this Goddess is having blood in her mouth, she asked her mother and the mother was shocked and had no answer to it. Do you have answer for this? even I was surprised when I heard about this.

3.This one is also the same thing, but a little different angle,  it is also said that girls at the time of their menses they are not supposed to touch anything or anyone in the house and in some aspects they are kept out of the house. To hear itself, it is so wired and disgusting, right? I don’t say that everyone will follow this, because, for example me and my family, we just don’t follow all this rubbish but most of the Indians especially some group of people belonging to a particular community and religion follow this. And coming to the example, recently I came to know about this in news, a old women who is in her menses was put out of the house as they don’t her, it was a forest kind of area, and at night while everyone was asleep, a snake entered her tent and bit her , then she was taken to hospital on their hands, I don’t understand why don’t you allow her inside instead of taking her to hospital after something bad has happen, at least then you have to touch her, right?. I felt very bad when I have seen this.

Yeah I have many more but I don’t have the examples to make things clear. To name some, a black cat should not come before us when we are going to start or do something, and some construct house according to some directions, do not sweep after sunset, do not cut nails at night, Wearing gemstones brings good fortune, Not To Sleep Facing The North, Broken Mirrors, Adding One Rupee To A Gift Sum, Twitching Eyes and many more like this. But I don’t say that all these are rubbish but some of these have scientific reasons, but making or implementing them very heavily in life may make us stupid’s

So, I say that some of these are really stupid and foolish. So, I don’t support and encourage those foolish things. And what’s your opinion. Feel free to comment and express.

New Regulations for Gold

Gold is not just an asset in India it holds significance in our culture. Being the symbol of the Goddess Lakshmi and considered to be auspicious.

It is part of several cultural and social events of Indian society. Not just bought on special occasions or passed down from several generations, but it also holds the great economical point. Being one of the most trusted investment all over the world even the RBI of India holds 695 tonnes of gold within it as a reserve.
The government of India had mandatory hallmarking for gold in 256 districts and plan to implement it all over India in the future.
What is a Hallmark?
It is series of marks made on the metal to clarify the content of the noble metals like gold, silver, etc.
In other words,s it lends credibility to the purity of gold. The Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS), in India, is the accreditation agency that certifies and Hallmark gold jewelry and other precious metals.

Other key terms related to gold-
Carat– It indicates the percentage of purity of the metal. Eg 24 carat means gold contains 100 pct gold. But to lend it some strength metal is mixed. Hence gold is about 18 -22 K only.
Stamp of BIS and year of the mark-
It is a triangle mark assure of purity with the year of hallmarking of jewelry.
Jewelry Identification mark-
BSI mark also carries jewellery stamps to Indicate that jewelry is certified. Its certification is cheap at Rs 2 per gram of gold.

Currently, this regulation is only imposed on jewelers having a turnover of above 40 Lakh only.

The Need For Population Control Legislation

It goes without saying that the population of India is increasing very rapidly which is a cause of grave concern for all of us especially those who are Indians. It is a no-brainer that there are so many disadvantages of population increase like the resources shrink, jobs shrink, living space shrink, water shrinks and what not! So there can be no two views that all possible steps must be taken to control population because if it is not controlled even now then not only are we going to overtake China as the world’s most populous country by 2027 as a UN report said in 2019 but shall also suffer in innumerable ways which our nation can certainly ill afford at this juncture.

It cannot be lightly dismissed that India is expected to add nearly 273 million people to its population between now and 2050. We also have to concede that with Chinese birth fertility rate expected to drop in the coming years, demographers have predicted that India with its much higher fertility rate will overtake China as the world’s most populated country by 2023 or 2024. China’s state run Global Times daily quoted Chinese demographers as saying that India’s population may overtake China’s well before 2027. How can all this be lightly dismissed?
There can be no gainsaying the irrefutable fact that increasing population is the biggest hurdle to development and we cannot take it just lying down. It is the bounden duty of our policymakers and lawmakers to ensure that population is at least controlled to some extent and all steps must be taken now to ensure the same. If population is not controlled even now then certainly our country can never become hunger free or poverty free or free from other such problems as the population rise is the root cause of all such problems with which our nation is seriously grappling also! So, it merits no reiteration that population control has to be on the top priority of the government both in the Centre and in the States also. It cannot be kept on the backburner any longer now!
As we all know, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehruji took the single biggest and the most commendable step of controlling the population of Hindus by restricting Hindus to just one marriage. Prior to Pandit Nehruji’s government framing “The Hindu Marriage Act, 1955”, Hindus both men and women could marry as many as they wanted and there was just no limit on either men or women. Lord Krishna had 16,108 wives as was reported in “The Times of India” newspaper in 2018. Similarly Ashoka also had thousands of wives and so was the case with not just kings but even among the common man and women. There was just no limit and both men and women had the liberty even during British rule to marry as many as they wanted. But Pandit Nehruji brought down both Hindu men and women to just one which is the most commendable step since independence ever taken by any PM for which Hindus must always be grateful to Pandit Nehruji! This alone explains why I always refer to Pandit Nehruji as the “Real Reformer of Hindus” but Pandit Nehruji didn’t touch Muslims as the country then was reeling fresh from the partition wounds and Nehruji didn’t want to do anything that would create insecurity among Muslims in any manner! But what about the other PM who ruled after Nehruji till PM Narendra Damodardas Modi who is ruling since last more than 7 years?
But my best friend Sageer Khan differed with me on this. He was strongly critical of Pandit Nehruji’s decision to impose monogamy on Hindus alone. He said in 1995 that, “What is UN? It is ruled by just US and UK. France, China and Russia are just servants of US and UK and China got permanent membership because of US and UK. Who created India and got it partitioned in 1947 on the basis of religion? It is again UN ruled by US and UK. UN loves Pakistan and hates India. So never get surprised that why Taliban aided, abetted and armed by Pakistan have taken over Afghanistan and UN watching with smile on face! Hindus, Shia Muslims, Sikhs, Indian Muslims who migrated to Pakistan called Mohajjirs are raped, insulted, punished and then killed! Yet UN is proud always of Pakistan as it is the brain child of US and UK who rule UN and who want to crush India as patriotic Indians especially Hindus in large numbers forced Britishers to leave India. It was UK who did not forget its defeat and so again advised Nehru our first PM to disregard the advice of Dr BR Ambedkar who favoured retention of polygamy in his Hindu Code Bill 1951 and he did accordingly by abolishing polygamy and polyandry among Hindus and also heeded to UK’s decision to not abolish polygamy among Muslims so that slowly Muslims become majority and Hindus become minority and India never gets stability and they could again come back to rule India. Why monogamy imposed only on Hindus alone? Muslims enjoy maximum liberty in India all over the world and it is Muslims who can still indulge in polygamy even though Nehru abolished it among Hindus in 1955. This is most unfair and must be strongly condemned. Why Hindus are forced to become Muslims to marry more than once? Polygamy should have been abolished for both or for none but Nehru very wrongly imposed monogamy only on Hindus which is most disgraceful and cannot be ever justified. Similarly why Muslims fight with Hindus in Ayodhya, Kashi and Mathura which have been Hindu worshipping sites since ages. Should Ram temple be built in Mecca, Medina or in Ayodhya? Muslims should never fight over Ayodhya, Kashi and Mathura which since thousands of years have been Hindus sites of pilgrimages just like Mecca and Medina are for Muslims. Muslims should be treated on par with Hindus and polygamy should be abolished among us also. This will greatly help in controlling the population also in our country. When Hindus can be brought down to one both male and female then why can’t Muslim males be also not brought down to one and Muslim females are already one as they unlike men cannot marry more than one? Centre and our law makers must give it a serious thought!”
For far too long this most pressing issue of uniform civil code has been hanging fire and our law makers have just callously preferred to always look the other way around on it. Why is it that film actor Dharmender had to become Muslim to marry a second time? Why is it that the son of former Chief Minister of Haryana – Bhajan Lal named Chander Mohan also had to change his name to Chander Mohammed and so also Anuradha Bali had to assume a Muslim name Fizza and convert to Islam just to marry each other as Chander was already married and in Hindu religion one cannot marry than one? There are millions of such cases where the conversion is purely on the temptation to marry more than one women! Why can’t this sham end once and for all? Why can’t law be same for one and all? Will it not help control population also if monogamy is imposed on one and all?
To put it mildly: When Hindus can be made to shun polygamy and polyandry in 1955 then why can’t the same be done among Muslim men in 2021? My best friend Sageer Khan also always wanted Muslims to abolish polygamy as it is a bad practice and cannot be ever condoned! Sageer Khan also used to often ask: “Why Centre trembles to do anything on this score? Why can’t monogamy be imposed equally on people of all religion alike? It has become a fashion to marry more than one. This is the root cause of increase in population in India.” Centre must seriously ponder on it.
If Centre takes decisive action and after 75 years of independence summons the courage to abolish polygamy among people of all religions just like Pandit Nehruji summoned to do the same for Hindus in 1955 not just among men but also among women that is abolishing both polygamy and polyandry then population can be controlled to a great extent! But what an unbeatable irony that in last 75 years of independence no PM nor any Supreme Court Judge has gathered the guts, gall and gumption to call a spade a spade and abolish polygamy among people of all religion as my best friend Sageer Khan always advocated also!
Of course, it goes without saying that using force to control population can never be feasible nor advisable! It would only worsen the situation further! We all saw how late Sanjay Gandhi who during Emergency in 1975-77 had thought that he could control population by using forcible methods of sterilisation floundered as he enjoyed unbridled powers and Congress party also lost power as people certainly didn’t approve of it in any way. It must be underscored that Centre as also the States must now launch more awareness campaign to ensure that the people themselves become more aware of the dangerous consequences of over population and should work most actively in this direction!
In addition, Centre and States must give more and more concessions to those families where the children are just one or two. This can certainly go a long way in motivating others to follow suit! But both Centre and States ought to be more proactive on it as population explosion is the most serious problem confronting India since last many years! It merits no reiteration that a dormant snail like approach would only serve in further exacerbating this problem further which our country can ill afford at this juncture! So now the ball is clearly in the court of the government!
It must be strictly ensured that child marriages does not take place to achieve fertility decline and this holds true especially in villages and remote areas where we keep hearing increasing incidents of child marriages taking place even now! There has to be zero tolerance on child marriages as it is because of child marriages that a women has many children and that too very early in her life! If child marriage is seriously and strictly checked it will ensure that population is also checked to a great extent.
Not just this, the marriage age must also be increased to 25 for both men and women. This can go a long way in ensuring that both men and women attain maturity when they marry and in their early youth don’t indulge in the mistake of having many children. This can prove to be a big leap in the direction to control population to a great extent!
It also must be mentioned here that serious, sincere and steady counselling must be done of all the parents the moment they give birth to one child irrespective of whether it is male or female to not produce more children. When parents have two children then they must be shown the copies of the laws of such states like UP, Assam and Rajasthan among others where having more than 2 children carries lots of disadvantages and bars one from several benefits! On the contrary, those who have just one child can get several benefits like preference in admission in all educational institutions and preference to single child in government jobs as we see in case of UP’s population draft bill also!
It cannot be overemphasized that parents must be also made more aware about the preference that is given to a single child in getting free health care facility and insurance coverage also till he attains the age of twenty years as we again see in the case of UP’s draft population bill which is also welcome! This will certainly propel parents to not have more than one children! Also, when parents will be barred from getting many benefits and from either contesting elections or holding any public post or getting other similar benefits this also can prove to be a big checker in population increase but apart from just creating strict laws what matters most is their implementation in totality and on one and all!
In conclusion, it is high time and now polygamy should be completely abolished in India just like Pandit Nehruji abolished it among Hindus in 1955! But the moot question certainly is: Can any PM ever dare to do what Pandit Nehruji did not do? Impose monogamy on one and all and not just Hindus alone as he did in 1955!

Illuminati

In a historical sense, the term “Illuminati” refers to the Bavarian Illuminati, a association that operated for less than a decade, from 1776 to 1785. This organization was founded by Adam Weishaupt, a German law professor who believed strongly in Enlightenment ideals, and his lluminatenorden sought to market those ideals among elites. Weishaupt wanted to teach Illuminati members in reason, philanthropy, and other secular values in order that they might influence political decisions once they came to power.
Illuminati, designation in use from the 15th century, assumed by or applied to varied groups of persons who claimed to be unusually enlightened. The word is that the plural of the Latin illuminatus (“revealed” or “enlightened”).
“It was pretty ambitious for six or nine guys, but they really wanted to take over the world,” says Chris Hodapp, the co-author of Conspiracy Theories and Secret Societies for Dummies with Alice VonKannon.
The Illuminati’s goals — and reputation — often exceeded their means, Hodapp notes. In its youth , the group was just a couple of individuals . And even at its largest, it only consisted of somewhere between 650 and a couple of ,500 members. The group grew thereto size by becoming a kind of cell within other groups — Illuminati members joined Freemason lodges to recruit members for his or her own competing secret society.
There were two sides to the historical Illuminati: their odd rituals and their ideals.
The Illuminati did plenty of unusual things. They used symbols (like the owl), adopted pseudonyms to avoid identification, and had complicated hierarchies like Novice, Minerval, and Illuminated Minerval that divided the ranks. In the beginning, Hodapp says, Illuminati members didn’t trust anyone over 30, because they were too set in their ways. Other reports of rituals are harder to verify , but we all know that members were very paranoid and used spy-like protocol to stay one another’s identities secret.
But while they were following these bizarre rituals, they also promoted a worldview that reflected Enlightenment ideals like rational thought and self-rule. Anti-clerical and anti-royal, the Illuminati were closer to revolutionaries than world rulers, since they sought to infiltrate and upset powerful institutions just like the monarchy.
Historians tend to think the Illuminati were only mildly successful — at the best — in becoming influential. (Though, of course, there also are those that believe the Illuminati successfully took over the planet — and still control it today. If an all-powerful group does dominate the planet , we probably wouldn’t realize it. Δ.)
It’s also difficult to untangle the success of the Illuminati from that of the Freemasons, which they infiltrated and commingled with. It’s even as tough to inform what influence the Illuminati actually had as against the influence people think that they had .
We do know the Illuminati had some influential members — along side many dukes and other leaders who were powerful but are forgotten today, some sources think writer Johann Goethe was a member of the group (though other sources dispute the claim). In a way, Illuminati influence depends on what you think about them. If you think their revolutionary ideals spread to other groups, like the French Revolution’s Jacobins, then they were successful. If you think that those ideas would have prospered regardless, then they were mainly a historical curiosity.
The Illuminati never completely disappeared from popular culture — it had been always burbling within the background. But within the mid-1970s, the Illuminati made a marked comeback because of a literary trilogy that gave the group the simultaneously spooky and laughable image it holds today.
The Illuminatus Trilogy, by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson, depicted the Illuminati with ironic detachment. This trilogy became a countercultural touchstone, and its intermingling of real research — Weishaupt, the founding father of the important Illuminati, may be a character — with fantasy helped put the Illuminati back on the radar.
“It was an excellent example of the post-’60s ways of ironizing elite sorts of power,” Mark Fenster says. “That ironic vision of conspiracy theory is extremely cosmopolitan . You can be both a significant conspiracy theorist and joke about it.”
From there, the Illuminati became a periodic staple of both popular culture — as in Dan Brown’s massively popular novel Angels and Demons — and various subcultures, where the group is often intermingled with Satanism, alien myths, and other ideas that might are totally foreign to the important Bavarian Illuminati.
Uscinski clarifies that the majority Americans today don’t actually believe the Illuminati. In a survey of conspiracy theories he conducted in 2012, he says zero people claimed that groups like Freemasons or Illuminati were controlling politics. Even so, the Illuminati seem to continue our collective consciousness, serving because the butt of jokes and therefore the source of lizard people rumors .

TELEVISION

Meetali soni

Tevevision is an electronic system of display images or moving objects together with sound over a wire or through space by apparatus that converts light and sound into electrical waves and reconverts them into visible light rays and audible sound.

The world’s first television stations first started appearing in America in the late 1920s and early 1930s. Television (also known as a TV) is a machine with a screen. Televisions receive broadcasting signals and change them into pictures and sound. The word “television” comes from the words tele (Greek for far away) and vision (sight). Sometimes a television can look like a box. Television was invented by Philo Farnsworth, John Logie Baird , Charles francis Jenkins. Electronic television was first successfully demonstrated in San Francisco on Sept. 7, 1927. The system was designed by Philo Taylor Farnsworth, a 21-year-old inventor who had lived in a house without electricity until he was 14. While still in high school, Farnsworth had begun to conceive of a system that could capture moving images in a form that could be coded onto radio waves and then transformed back into a picture on a screen. Farnsworth’s invention, which scanned images with a beam of electrons, is the direct ancestor of modern television. The first image he transmitted on it was a simple line. Soon he aimed his primitive camera at a dollar sign. Early television was quite primitive. All the action at that first televised baseball game had to be captured by a single camera, and the limitations of early cameras forced actors in dramas to work under impossibly hot lights, wearing black lipstick and green makeup (the cameras had trouble with the color white). In the beginning, TV was not like that which we see now. Slowly changes and development were happening and till 1940 full electronic television was invented. That television was called as CRT televisions. Now a day’s LED TV is in vogue. People feel to see television as if watching anything live, or anything happening before our eyes as in reality. It is the favored source of entertainment of public and different news. It is a popular medium of telecommunication and entertainment. That’s why television is found in most of the houses in India, both in cities and villages. The invention of television has changed the lifestyle of the human and made possible a lot of things .

ADVANTAGES OF TELEVISION :-

As we know that we are moving forward quick in technology. This technology affects the life of each human in the world. Technology gave us an excellent and beneficial gift in the form of television. But like other machines and inventions, the TV also has its advantages and disadvantages for the human being.
The uses, benefits, and losses also are known by each viewer of television. But the habits have become so common, and the people cannot ignore the watch television, especially children and adults, have become so addicted to watching the TV. We mention the advantages of television below.

For entertainment
Learning new things
For news of the world
Unity of family increase
Best Time Pass
Awareness & knowledge of different languages.
Different Culture Awareness
Cheap Source of Entertainment.
Motivation Increase

DISADVANTAGES OF TELEVISION:-
Negative effect on health
Wastage of time
Lack of meeting with families
Addiction to Cartoons
The negative impact of a false advertisement

CONCLUSION:-
we conclude that the use of television is a useful invention. Still, the use of tv gives many side effects if not used properly. There should be a balance in usage, and especially for kids and children, we should be more conscious and try to avoid unwanted and unsuitable programs. Anything if used more than limit and improper, then it is harmful.
