world test championship

Cricket enthusiasts have always been familiar with the game being played at apex levels only in the limited overs format. But now since the past two years, where the tournament for tests had begun, it gave the whole new meaning to the test cricket which is considered to be the purest form of cricket. “The Ashes”, a very prominent and popular test series among fans which has a very significant history for itself marked the beginning of the ICC WTC in August 2019. This marked the beginning of the long tournament for the next two years from 2019 to the finals in June 2021. World’s best 9 teams qualified to compete with each other in this ICC tournament having to play 3 home and 3 away test series for the next two years.

All these said and done, now was the time for the ultimate test, the finals of ICC World Test Championship. Through the course of two years, best of the best teams were tested on friendly and ferocious conditions in home and away terrains of the game. This lengthy tournament kept cricketing fans waited for the last two years to arrive at the site of this day, June 18 2021 the finals of ICC WTC. Irrespective of what teams they like, irrespective of all the positions on the points table of WTC, everybody was equally excited for this massive final, ultimately they all wished to see who’s dream of winning this ICC WTC trophy would fulfill in the debut season of the tournament. The final was played by the top 2 teams of the the world- INDIA and NEW ZEALAND.

The Ageas Bowl in Southampton was relatively a nerve wrecking experience for fans as well as the teams themselves. The venue being a not so familiar terrain to both the teams already had now become unpredictable for its weather and continuous shower on the day 1 of the WTC final. Indeed not a great way to start the final of such an event! New Zealand had never played in this venue before, on the other hand India had played on this venue twice and had no winning experience on both the occasions. The final was given an extra day in the full intention to avoid a tie and to declare a winner for the tournament, which indeed got fruitful as the game continued for the 6th day after the continuous rain on 2 occasions of the 5 day test match. Having had to play on unfamiliar conditions, batting units from both teams were not having an easy time and indeed it was up to the bowlers to control the test match and bring victory to their side.

Fans were devastated from day 1, for all the rain, the weather conditions and predictions that were being made. But, all’s well that ends well, fans could finally cherish the final as it was a clear sky on day 6 and concluded with the Kiwis winning the title of the ICC WTC! They totally deserved every bit of it, Kane Williamson the captain of the winning side now finally had an ICC trophy and a victory to cherish after the unfortunate defeat at the 2019 World Cup.

The sky-rocketing university cut-offs

The Problem:

97%, 98%, 99% in fact, 100%! These are not Dettol’s bacteria killing percentages, to tell the truth, these are the sky rocketing cut-off figures that are required for admission into the prestigious Delhi University. Although, the cut-offs have been escalating steadily over the prior years, this year, Lady Shri Ram college (LSR) has broken all the previous records by setting 100% cut off for three programs for admission. As a matter of fact, all other DU colleges also have 99% and higher cut offs. The university has refused to bring the bar any lower, even in the dim of this Global Pandemic. The primary motive behind these cut-off figures is that around 5,500 registered candidates for admission to the university have a ‘best-of-four-subjects’ percentage of 100%. I agree that, one of the main reasons for this is the fact that, the number of applicants are more than the available seats. This year alone, 3.5 lakh students have applied and competed for a mere 70,000 seats that are available. The percentage of students scoring above 95 has also increased this year. This results in a vigorous competition. However, 100% cut-off seems highly unreasonable, because certain boards, specially ICSE, do not give full marks in certain subjects. Where does it leave the rest of them, then? Shouldn’t a national university be inclusive of the issues and predicaments of all the students across the country?  In these unprecedented times, these cut-offs seem quite unreasonable and unreal.

Better Methods Of Filtering:

One obvious way to lessen this problem, is by increasing the number of colleges, by opening another campus. However, it is not the silver bullet to the soaring number of applicants appearing every year. It is disappointing to see brilliant students to lose their chance at this respectable institution just by a few marks. Such esteemed universities need a better method of filtering for admission of candidates. For starters, they could shift the weight of admission criteria from marks alone to the overall performance of the candidate. Many a times, marks don’t justify the potential of a student. In fact, most of the top percentile students, hardly have any other achievements under their belt. In my view, a comprehensive all-round performance of a child must be encouraged along with a reasonable cut-off for admission filtering. This will improve the quality of the students and the overall performance of the University. Apart from that, students must not hold DU as their ultimatum. They must be encouraged to try out different alternatives. We as a society, must collectively play a role in encouraging and motivating students in their pursuits and not bringing them down for not getting admissions in certain ‘reputed’ colleges.

How To Fix Mixed Content Errors In Blogspot Blogs

With HTTPS now automatic in Blogger the benefits have been considerable. However, there are some issues that are now facing bloggers thanks to this change in policy and one of the most common is mixed content errors.

What are mixed content errors?

This is when a web page becomes secured by SSL, but it contains both secure HTTPS and also the non-secure HTTP which is usually links, scripts, style sheets, video, and images. This results in browser errors that negatively affect the performance of your website and cause security issues. This means that source codes such as template, layout gadget, and post and paste may be causing the issues in the HTML side of the equation.

How to identify mixed content errors?

This is a fairly straightforward process that you can use through Google Chrome:

1. Visit blog using HTTPS, for example – https://yourblog.blogspot.com
2. Access the Chrome Menu at the top-right of your browser window and go to “More Tools” > “Developer Tools” and switch to the “Console” tab or use the CTRL + SHIFT + J keys to open the JavaScript console
3. Look in the Console for mixed content errors which will look similar to these:

mixed content, chrome console

Examples of mixed content errors include, but are not limited to the following:

– Insecure Script Request
– Insecure Image Request
– Insecure URL Request

You should list all unsecured URLs and visit the other pages on your blog to check for other mixed content errors.

Fix the mixed content errors in a Blogger template

To fix the errors encountered which may be found in the template or layout, you will need to do the following:

1. Go to Blogger and select your blog, then click on “Template” and press the “Edit HTML” button
2. Click anywhere in the code area and press CTRL + F to search for http://

http:// to https:// blogger

3. Replace all http:// prefixes with https://

Verify that the new URLs using the HTTPS addresses work by opening them in a new window on your browser. If the links you are receiving provide the same results, then you can Save Template.

To check for layout errors:

Go to Blogger and click on ‘Layout’ > check for any HTML/JavaScript gadget and click ‘Edit’ on each gadget. Replace all http:// prefixes with https:// then verify that they are working and hit Save.

All it takes is a few minutes and you can greatly improve your blog site that has been impeded with mixed content errors.

SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

Science , technology the two most , one of the powerful words nowadays . These two words has changed the ways our living style totally .It has been observed a drastic and a sharp increase in graph from 20th to 21th century in both science and technology . Everyday the company launches new mobile with new feature making our lives easier. Not only this , science has shown its excellence in many other fields like in household equipments making the chores done more quickly like vaccum cleaner , refrigerator , Oven , etc.Basically , Science can be defined as the systematic study of the structure and behaviour of the physical world and natural world like biotic or living organisms and the mixture of the both helps to study about human , diseases , their diagnosis , treatment and cure through observation and experiment . While the technology is defined the use of scientific knowledge for the practical purposes that can be at reasearch level , hospital level , school curriculum levels .Science and technology have helped a lot in advancement of various fields like Mathematics, Astrophysics, Space technology, Nuclear energy , biotechnology, IT , etc.Science and technology has a remarkable effects on our lives , some of them are:- Thus through science and technology, life has really become very simple and relaxed and comfortable , Metro system and railway system has made travelling simpler and quick , Birth of smartphones has made communication easier and faster , With the outbreak of technology, living standards are improved, people have started living the luxurious life . The word Impossible is become possible due to the growth of science and technology. Complicated tasks can be easily done in seconds on laptop or computer . Learning and memorizing has become more easier through visual learning programming apps .Thus , due to the oneset of technology , world has really become digital , every age group has been greatly benefited .Now man is able to explore the space due to introduction of Aeroscience . The life has become healthier and longer. Day by day , as per enhancement in technology hygiene, sanitation, medicine , treatment and surgery are conquering more and more physical and mental illness . But , it’s a fact that everything has its two sides just like the coin , science and technology too have some of the limitations like :- The Machines have led to unemployment as all the work is now performed through machines and equipment due to which less labour and workers are required leading to unemployment , The chemicals and gases realising from industries have polluted water and atmosphere and also have caused noise pollution. We all have lost our traditional lifestyle die to the outbreak of science and technology and become more lazy day by day , that will add on more fats and calories to our body and making us obese which in turn is the house of diseases. Thus ,we must admit that science and technology have made our life easier and led to human civilization . However , we must utilize everything in wise perspectives and use all the means in a limit . Therefore, overuse or misuse of anything is harmful and can produce harmful consequences. So , we must use the science and technology in a wise way and achieve success.

Where Python language is used?

There is a vast variety of Python use cases across industries. Of course, the first thing that comes up when one thinks about the most common ways in which Python is employed is for building web, mobile, and desktop applications, as well as for testing them. But Python is a language that serves a multiplicity of purposes. Basically, these are the areas of use Python is perfect for:
Web app development

Data science

•Scripting

•Database programming

•Quick prototyping

Python is good for all forms of programming, which makes its user base grow rapidly. Cross-platform shell scripting, quick automation, simple web development, data analysis and visualization, AI and ML are some of the examples.

Often, specialists use Python to better perform a variety of tasks in different disciplines. Better performance, among others, may be achieved with the help of automation. Finance, insurance, and marketing are the primary fields, in which people face the necessity to do tasks that are repetitive and boring: viewing, copying, renaming, and uploading files to a server, downloading websites or parsing data. Instead, a programmer can write a script in Python and automate it all.

Moreover, you should not necessarily be a software developer to use Python. The language allows facilitating data analysis and visualization. It has a rich ecosystem comprising efficient libraries for data processing and therefore assisting data scientists in performing complex numeric computing operations.

PIZZA MELTS

What do you get when a grilled cheese and a pepperoni pizza have a baby? A PIZZA MELT! (Sorry for yelling, I’m excited.) I used to eat these as an after-school snack when I was growing up because they’re super easy and who doesn’t want pizza? But now, decades later, I took this pizza-inspired sandwich to the next level by adding an herby-Parmesan butter to the bread which creates an extra crispy finish. It’s to die for and way better than the pizza melts of my teen years. You’ve got to try it!

A stack of pizza melts cut in half on a plate against a blue background.

WHAT KIND OF BREAD TO USE FOR PIZZA MELTS
You definitely want to use some sort of sturdy bread for your pizza melt. If you try to use a soft white sandwich bread it just won’t hold up to the moisture in the pizza sauce. I used a sourdough loaf, which gave my pizza melts even more flavor. Something like a rosemary olive oil bread or some homemade focaccia would also be amazing. Just make sure the bread is strong!

WHAT ELSE CAN YOU PUT ON A PIZZA MELT?
A pizza melt, even in its most basic form (pizza sauce, cheese, pepperoni), is awesome, but if you happen to have some leftover ingredients on hand and you want to throw them on there, go for it! Here are a few ideas:

Diced bell pepper
Olives
Red onion
Bacon bits
Ham
Spinach
Mushrooms
Feta cheese
Banana peppers
Sun dried tomatoes
I would caution against using any ingredient that is very wet, like fresh tomatoes or canned artichoke hearts, since this can make the bread soggy.

calorie

The calorie was first introduced by Nicolas Clément, as a unit of heat energy, in lectures during the years 1819–1824. This was the “large” calorie, viz. modern kilocalorie.[3][6] The term entered French and English dictionaries between 1841 and 1867. It comes from Latin calor ‘heat’.

The “small” calorie (modern calorie) was introduced by Pierre Antoine Favre (Chemist) and Johann T. Silbermann (Physicist) in 1852. In 1879, Marcellin Berthelot distinguished between gram-calorie (modern calorie) and kilogram-calorie (modern kilocalorie).[6] Berthelot also introduced the convention of capitalizing the kilogram-calorie, as Calorie.

The use of the kilogram-calorie (kcal) for nutrition was introduced to the American public by Wilbur Olin Atwater, a professor at Wesleyan University, in 1887.[3]

The modern calorie (cal) was first recognized as a unit of the cm-g-s system (cgs) in 1896,[6] alongside the already-existing cgs unit of energy, the erg (first suggested by Clausius in 1864, under the name ergon, and officially adopted in 1882).

Already in 1928 there were serious complaints about the possible confusion arising from the two main definitions of the calorie and whether the notion of using the capital letter to distinguish them was sound.[7] Use of the calorie was officially deprecated by the ninth General Conference on Weights and Measures, in 1948.[8]

The alternate spelling calory is archai

BOOK REVIEW-An emboldening genre

A Good Takeaway is something essential for all human beings.

There are only a few genres that create an inevitable impact in the hearts of readers and Autobiographies are considered to be one of the genres that stand out as an influencing factor in the lives of many people. Similarly, Most of us prefer less drama and Assertive pieces of work quite interesting, which makes nonfiction stories likeable. What could be more interesting when two most riveting genres combine! Yes, i will be writing about one of my favourite books, which is an ‘Autobiographical Nonfiction’- “Being Reshma” an impeccable life story of an acid attack survivor or to be more accurate, a warrior, who ought to overcome a traumatic experience of her life and has also succeeded, This book was written by Tania Singh and co-authored by Reshma Qureshi herself.

This book, an inspiration, is about Reshma (the protagonist) , a girl who faced a tragic incident and was thrown acid by her own sister’s former husband as an act of revenge. Her entire face, skin and bones were damaged then she was taken to a hospital. Reshma was shunned by The hospital and the police authorities responses, which was very harsh. Despite facing many hurdles, Reshma didn’t shatter and succumb to her condition, but shone bright by becoming the first acid attack survivor to walk the runway at Newyork fashion week in 2016 which is just two years post such a terrific incident. She made global headlines by proving herself.

Besides, Reshma participated in many such events and campaigns. In one such campaign called #endacidsale which was held in 2015, Reshma asserted a strong statement which was also mentioned in her book, that is, “You will find red lipstick easily in the market, just like concentrated acid. This is how, every day, a girl becomes a victim of an acid attack.”(Qureshi 138) Which is a very bold statement that made many people think twice and is emotional, also one of my personal favourite lines said by her. Reshma never stopped campaigning against acid Attacks. Reshma also asserts that she wouldn’t stop raising awareness and narrate the ordeal of her life until the discriminatory and diverse mentality of people against acid Attack survivors come to an end.

We all know acid attacks are not uncommon in India which is truly heartbreaking. Such inspiring autobiographies create powerful impressions and stimulate each of us to achieve big things in life regardless of insurmountable obstacles our life offers, which is nothing compared to life histories of many great personalities like Reshma Qureshi who proved herself and sets a great example for many more youngsters like me.

In the midst of people who are very much concerned about physical Appearance, there are also people who embrace themselves with open heart and acceptance, which makes them succeed in life in unimaginable ways.

Hence, if at all people lack confidence in overcoming insecurities I would highly suggest this must-read Autobiographical nonfiction story, “Being Reshma” A Phenomenon.

How to start coding? Part-1

To begin with coding, you need to first learn a programming language. A computer can’t learn the human language. A computer only understands that is in the form of 0’s or 1’s i.e binary language. So to communicate with the computer, you need to learn its language. Programming language is a sort of instructions set that is fed to the computer so that we can get the desired output. There are tons of homogenous programming languages available. Some languages are equivocal. While some are quite the contrary. One such programming language that is most popular today is called “Python”.

Every buzzword around you today is more or less uses Python. Python is an integrated high-level general-purpose programming language. Python is the fastest-growing programming language.

Some of the advantages of coding in the “most popular programming language are”-

It’s easy to read, write and learn code in Python

Python is an interpreted language

Python is free and open-source

Python supports every possible library available

Python is a high-level language

Python is an object-oriented language

Python is portable across Operating Systems

Every coin has two sides, so does Python also has its disadvantages-

Python is quite slow in execution

Python is not so memory efficient.

But, these disadvantages do not anguish its popularity. It may sound perplexing to learn all these keywords. But trust me once you get your hands dirty with coding, you will come to understand these terms.

Surge in interest for Python

There are also some analogous programming languages. C, C++, Java are some of these programming languages. They have their advantages and disadvantages. But none of them is even close in terms of usage and popularity with python.

The growth with pythons influence is steadily increasing and will surely see an exponential rise in the near future. Tech giants such as google have left no stone unturned on using python. Due to this increasing demand for python, it’s feasible to learn python. And this will be your stepping stone on your way to learn to code.

Mental health and the social stigma around it

The Tabooed Ailment

Have you ever felt really happy? So happy that, it becomes impossible to imagine what normal feels like? Well, we all have such rare moments from which we can’t get back. A state of euphoric bliss experienced more in our childhood that depletes as we age. Do you know? Whenever you feel that joy, our body releases: dopamine that causes pleasure-seeking behavior, endorphin that reduces pain, Anandamide (derived from the Sanskrit word ‘Ananda’ meaning bliss) that maintains ecstasy and about a 100 more neurochemicals.

Happiness is wonderful! I know. Except, the dark side is – the same happens when one feels self-deflatingly depressed. One can’t get back to normal. One feels helpless; crushed; drained-out; anxious; and nihilistic. Such a person needs medicine, not philosophy.

I often find people using the word – ‘depressed’ casually whenever they feel dull, drunk, dumped, or drowsy. If you feel anything like that then you are just bummed out, ordinary- rather, a little extra-ordinary. These are all passive states of mind. Mental Illness is a negatively active state of mind. Symptoms of depression can have a wide range from trouble sleeping and eating, to persistent anxiety and sadness, recurring episodes of hopelessness, overeating, fatigue, a sudden switch from sadness to calmness, desperately pretending to be happy, taking risks, tying up loose ends, changing wills, and finally- death.

I once asked my brother about his friend who was diagnosed as clinically depressed, he recalled her sentences quite vividly – “It felt like I am living through the blank pages of my fate. Wish I had a way to erase it!”, she said. The most important thing that our society must be sensitive to is the fact that the cause of the behavior of a mentally ill person is rooted within him. Therefore, changing situations around him will not change anything significant.

Suicide is the leading cause of death in India among 15-29 years. This is not a mere statistic, but a statement to the world – “In our country, people kill themselves more than they get killed by others”, and we have the time to blame politicians. Yes, I know, we all want to do something about it, and that’s the extent of our concern. Here’s what I propose – How about being a little sensitive with people around? 1 in 7 people are mentally ill in our country. Well, it may not be your friend, but it might be you. Recognise mental health as an actual issue, instead of tossing it under the carpet, just because you are not ready to accept it. Don’t call someone lazy or unmotivated, they’re fighting their own battles that they can’t share. So, be kind to everyone, including yourself.

What is Python programming language?

Python is one of the most popular and fastest-growing programming language. Inherently, it is interpreted, high-level, general-purpose, and object-oriented scripting language, which means the following:

•Interpreted

An interpreter processes the source file at runtime, it reads the lines of code, one by one and performs what is said. Similarly to Perl and PHP, Python does not require that you compile your program before executing it. So, you do not have to invoke a compiler. Instead of running the compiler that helps turn source files into compiled class files, you simply run a .py file. Python byte code compilation is automatic and entirely implicit.

•High-level

Python relies on easy-to-read structures that are later translated into a low-level language, the original code that is run on a computer’s central processing unit (CPU). A high-level language is intended to be used by a programmer and the written code is further interpreted into a low-level language. Like C++ or Java, before running, Python has to be processed. This enables Python’s portability — it can run on different kinds of computers with nearly no modifications.

•General-purpose

Python can be used for nearly everything. It is applicable to almost every field for a variety of tasks. Be it the execution of such short-term tasks as software testing or long-term product development that involves roadmap planning, Python works well for them all, it is applicable all over the map. Its roles are unlimited. It is popular not only among software engineers, but also among specialists in other fields: mathematics, data analysis, science, accounting, and network engineering. Likewise, Python cliques with young people because it’s a very beginner-friendly scripting language.

•Object-oriented

This programming paradigm gives an overall orientation towards scripting and powerful code structuring. This object-oriented approach allows thinking of problems in terms of classes and objects. Then, objects are composed in such a way to make up complex computer programs. Beside the object-oriented programming, Python also supports a procedural paradigm. With OOP being only one of the options, you can make Python programming more advanced by going for an object-oriented programming approach. Developers can create reusable patterns of code thus curtailing redundancy in development projects.

Why should you learn to code in 2021?

We all are aware of the fact of how we are dependent on technology. Being technological illiterate is just something you do not want to be in this era. And the current trend for being literate about technology is to start “coding”. So why “coding” is so important in today’s world? Read on to find out why.

Top 5 reasons why everyone should learn coding

Gets a basics understanding of how technology works around us

The foremost and most important reason to learn to code is that it presents us with an aspect of how technology works. How lockdown affects GDP …?

To earn a BREAD for our family is everyone’s basic need but what if we cannot fullfill it? There are plenty of questions in our mind running continuosly some of them are…..

what is GDP ? What is the relation between GDP and grains ? How it affects our life …?

GDP stands for gross domestic product for example the amount of crop production per year which is sell by the farmers and reach to common people in cheap prices just like what we improt or exports what profit we get what we invest what we spend on it. In short calculating all the factors related to development like education ,child ratio, birth ratio, crops, goods ,prices etc

Our capita increase when we work but if we do nothing by sitting at our homes it affects our economy so harshly it decrease the GDP .

2011-2012 till 2020-21 GDP is same 135.13 trillion but it is expected to be 145.69trillion

And in 2020 when lockdown starts it gowing down fall rapidly .

Why are so many variants of covid-19 arising?

In a bid to contain the spike in COVID-19 cases, the UK went on lockdown in November 2020. But despite having the same lockdown measures, infections in Kent were still rising. Due to an overall drop in the number of cases, the country eventually relaxed its lockdown restrictions. What happened next was nothing short of a nightmare. The number of cases skyrocketed. Researchers realized somewhere in Kent the virus had mutated. It was a new variant, and it was more contagious and was spreading extremely fast. In the next five months, this became the most common form of the virus.

But let us back up for a bit. Why did the COVID-19 virus mutate? Why do any virus mutate at all?

From an evolutionary standpoint, mutations are necessary accessories to natural selection. Most mutations are not beneficial for the organisms. Many mutations cause organisms to leave fewer descendants over time, but once in a while, there are changes that give the virus an advantage. These advantageous mutations led to the emergence of what are now called the Variants of concern.

Viruses are basically just a shell of protein surrounding some genetic material- either DNA or RNA. That genetic material is made up of molecules that can be represented by a series of letters like this

Structure of genetic material of viruses. [ Source: Vox]

Each part of the genetic code contains instructions for how to make one specific protein that allows the virus to function. The virus has one goal- to make more copies of itself. But because they are extremely simple entities they use us to replicate. Whenever a virus infects someone, it takes over their cells to make more and more copies of themselves. This means tediously replicating the  same code repeatedly. Occasionally, however, the virus makes a mistake. This is called a mutation, and it slightly changes the instructions for making the virus. This altered virus is a variant.

Coronaviruses have a specific type of proteins called the spike proteins that they use to bind with and infect the human cell. Luckily for us, this binding is not a perfect fit and the virus cannot always get past the cell’s defenses. What happened with the UK variant or the B.1.1.7 variant is that it had a mutation on the spike itself making the binding better.

The deadly second wave of Coronavirus that wreaked havoc globally, had a cataclysmic effect in India. WHO recently announced that the highly infectious virus variant which was first detected in India will be referred to as the ‘Delta variant.’ As per data, the Delta variant or the B1.617.2  was the primary cause behind India’s devastating second wave and is much more infectious than the Alpha strain (B.1.1.7), which found in the UK.

The Delta variant and its two mutations. [Source: Vox]

The Delta variant has many different mutations, two of which had been seen earlier. These mutations seem to make the virus more transmissible and confers it power to re-infect people. This means the Delta variant evolved as a response to our immune system.

The Delta plus variant, a new mutant version of the Delta strain first detected in India, has been found in 22 cases in Maharashtra, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh and is a “variant of concern”, the government said in a warning to these states this evening. Sharing preliminary details of the Delta-plus variant, researchers at CSIR-Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (IGIB) said that it may be linked with abilities to better escape immune response, which means the virus can potentially dodge vaccines and antibody therapies. In fact, Vinod Scaria, a scientist with IGIB, said that there is also evidence of the Delta-plus variant’s “resistance to monoclonal antibodies”, putting into question the effectivity of the monoclonal antibody cocktail that was recently okayed for the treatment of milder cases.

The tsunami we witnessed in the second wave of the pandemic, caused by the delta variant, has only started to ebb. The rise of a new mutant, merely months after the initial detection, makes the Delta plus variant a serious cause of concern, at least on paper.

Journey Of Feather 🪶

Being a feather I was expecting that I will have numerous adventure filled with fantasies and daring. But It was not like that I was thinking about. In today’s world there are no scarcity of creative people. A feather is now not only meant to drift through wind but it is also now a major part of creativity.
DIY or we can say do it yourself is one of the popular and viral things that people are adopting it now. So instead of that flying in the sky, I would share my feather experience as a craft material.
So after watching youtube videos or 5 minutes crafts. Kid caught me from the playground and took me to their working table. I was there with a huge bottle of fevicol and a scissors. The kid came and put the fevicol on me. The moment when he put that fevicol the vanes of it got sticked to each other. I was feeling so sticky and heavy at that time . After that he pasted me on a mask which he made by himself. He took scissors and trimmed my vanes to get me a finished look . He looked at me as he has achieved anything. He ran to his parents and show them up this masterpiece I was admired by everyone. The next day the kid took me to school to show off their friends. One of his friends got jealous of him. He came and snatch the mask from him. Now the mask was between the hands of two kids and I was waiting for someone to come and stop this fight. But no one came. The mask was now in 2 pieces but I was in the hand of the kid who made the mask. I was thankful But just few moments later he found another feather on the ground in his school and that was beautiful than me. He threw me and ran to that feather. I was alone and thinking that now I will be burned with the heap of dry leaves by the gardener. Suddenly A girl stepped on me, She realized that and took me up, and now I will be going to a part of a new craft of that girl.
With this, I would like to rest my journey as a feather.
